When I volunteered for BBBS program I would bring my lil sis here and the first time taking her there, I got a little emotional because she enjoyed it as much as I did...or maybe she was just laughing at me running around going "when I was a kid, this was still here" or "oooh! This is new since I was a kid!" Or "when I was YOUR age the fake grocery store wasn't a wegmans" type stuff. The tower view of the lake was lovely on today's crisp blue-sky day. On the second floor, there was a very nice display of mixed medium artwork by a fairly local artist to view and/or purchase. Yes it’s a very nice venue, however I was very disappointed with a late notification given by the venue manager. Here’s the story in a nutshell. After traveling 14 hours from Atlanta for a wedding back in September 2024. I arrive at the venue early morning the next day. I’ve 3 spaces to set up for Wedding starts at 4pm. After setting up I prepare to leave out around 2:30pm so to shower and get dress. As I’m leaving out I’m approached by the venue manager and told my equipment in the middle hallway where the reception will be taking place is to close to the walls and I have to move everything about 3 feet more away from the walls. This infuriated me, why wait so long to say this to me. I know for sure I’m going to be late if I reset everything. So I did what I could and pulled things out but left it as that. Once I return to the venue I’m being rushed in every direction. Even my DJ set up in the stage area / head table area was change with boxed me in between the steps and the stage. I will still give this venue 5 Stars because it is an awesome venue to have your wedding. But it definitely should be noted that in the center hallway nothing is to be closer than 5 feet from the walls. I do reside in Atlanta but born and raised in Erie, PA. The room was set up with plenty of room for 16 guests, it was nicely decorated and clean as we're the bathrooms. The pizzas are freshly made on site. We parked off street just watch closely the parking signs. The tour guide was Great explaining all the history and artifacts pertaining to firefighting. Took about an hour and a half to go through. Learned so much about historical firefighting. Worth the money we paid. The couple who manage this place were friendly and nice. They had a special rate for an overnight stay. We were able to stay overnight and 4 passes to the water park, plus we bought an extra pass because we are a family of 5. Check in day you can arrive as early at noon for the water park and 4pm for your hotel. Check.out day the Waterpark opens at 11am for hotel guests only and noon for everyone else, you are welcome to stay all day. Destiny, at the Wyndham front desk, was so professional and efficient. We got our wristbands and headed over to the Waterpark. We found the Waterpark to be so clean, the staff was plentiful and accommodating. This place is very well run. There are alot of lifeguards and they are very focused on the water and safety of the guests, but not rigid. The food at the café was about $12 per meal, burgers-pizza-hot dogs-fries-chicken tenders-ice cream. There is so much seating you will not have a problem finding a seat. Tables and chairs as well as pool chairs by the wave pool. There are bathrooms located throughout the park, changing areas, family changing as well. There are lockers to rent at a kiosk, very easy and affordable. **you do need your own towels, they do not provide them at this location ** The hotel was pretty nice for what we paid. Our room was on the 5th floor. We had 2 queen/full beds as well as a pull out. Plenty of pillows and towels. There is a jacuzzi tub that was big enough for me, my 8yo and 5yo to soak in together. We had a coffee table, and eating table, a desk, a swivel tv, a mini fridge and freezer, microwave and a small bar area with a coffee pot. Breakfast was your usual free breakfast. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffle makers, juice, fruit, breads. Lots of coffee. There was a ton of room to eat in the breakfast bar. The staff there were hustling and getting everything cleaned up as guests turned over. Overall, this was a great stay.

I got discounted tickets from my local township municipal building. The combo ticket for the water and amusement park was just $42. I was a bit let down that the park operates entirely cashless. When I got there, there was plenty of parking available. I have to admit, I wasn't too confident in the bag check-in process for entering the water park. It seemed like visitors' bags weren't checked thoroughly because I spotted someone in the wave pool area casually sipping from a slightly hidden glass mini bottle of vodka while lounging on a chair. I went on a less busy weekday, so the lines for slides and rides were minimal. The prices at the concession stands were quite reasonable! The park was well-kept, but the yellow jacket problem was pretty intense! The concession stand in the water park had only 2 registers open, even though it could handle a lot more customers to avoid long lines during the midday rush. All in all, the park is really nice and has a little something for everyone!

The value is awesome. We bought season tickets and are from new york. In some ways it reminds me of crystal beach. You can see the lake on most of the rides. The water park is big . It has alot of tube's and the wave pool. The staff is unbelievable. My husband is handicapped. He is a little slower getting on some rides. Staff had incredible patients and helped him tremendously. They didn't make him feel like an inconvenience. We rented a wheel chair. At the end of the night . They thought nothing of taking him straight to car.

This park ( not water portion) the gas free admittance, which is great for me since my gf doesn't really ride very much. They offer all day ride wrist bands or a pay per ride option. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion. The food prices also were much more reasonable than most amusement parks as well and overall much better quality food. The overall layout out of the park is very easy to navigate. Imo the best ride there is the Ravin Flyer II . Absolutely incredible wood coaster very similar to the Voyage at Holiday World in Indiana. Sadly it's a bit shorter ride than the voyage, but it's still fantastic! Steel Dragon also is probably the best "wild mouse" style coaster I've been on as well.
