I had an amazing dining experience at Matsuhisa. The Shrimp with Spicy Garlic Sauce was a nice appetizer, the Lamb Chops had a unique barbecue sauce and were cooked to my desired temperature (well done), and all of the sushi was great. My favorite item was the Black Cod, it was sensational.
Service was top tier as expected. The ambience is typical of any fine dining establishment, but the interior design was underwhelming. An elevator and coat check are available for accessibility and convenience. Overall 9.5/10!

Nice low lit spot for a date night in Aspen! This was one of the only spots open the week before memorial weekend, but we enjoyed our sushi. Good fish, good menu, decent drinks, and great service. We came here because we actually had dinner reservations, recommended by our hotel at another sushi spot in the area with a famous chef. We had such a horrible time with overpriced starters there, we left without dinner. We search online for this Kenichi Aspen and walked around the corner and found this place. The servers were so welcoming...they asked us where we were from and just gave very personalized customer service. The food was amazing. Even people dining in the restaurant are very pleasant and speak to you as you walk around. I would definitely suggest this spot for sushi in Aspen over any other place. I can't wait to return.

Great food and good service!
The crispy tofu was surprisingly good! Well-seasoned and great texture. Definitely the highlight of the meal since it has a very unique taste that I have not had before in other Japanese restaurants.
Scallop was tender. The mushrooms and the vegetables underneath the scallops were yummy. The Godzilla roll was good. The strawberry on top was actually a good addition to the roll - a little bit of sourness makes it tastes lighter.
The shrimp was a little heavy: both the coating and the sauce. But still good.
Overall I enjoyed the quality of the food I tried here.

What a treat, we were lucky to be in Aspen during mud season and the place was like a ghost town for the exception of Clark's Oyster Bar which was almost full at 2:00 PM! The reason became evident when we saw the eclectic range of food available. If you love oysters from around the United States this is you place, the selection of raw oysters was one of the best we have come across. If you want a sandwich or soup numerous choices abound. A bit pricy but hey its Aspen, if you can get in you will not be dissapointed, full bar as well, recommended!!!

Let me start off the review with the food being quite good but definitely not worth the time. For example, when I ordered my meal of the gnocchi truffle (48$), the waiter then ask me if I wanted extra truffles on top. However I was unaware of the ludicrous amount they would rip me off with due to the prices not being mentioned on the menu. Those damn truffles cost more than my entire dish (50$). This place for me is a complete scam for anyone who values their money and dignity as the staff here feel like money-hungry vultures. This restaurant is truly extraordinary. I consider myself an onion soup, connoisseur, and this onion soup was among the best I have ever had. The summer salad was a 8 1/2 out of 10 it was fresh, but had a little too much dressing. The dessert, a crème brûlée crêpe was also to die for I will eat here every time I come to Aspen. It’s truly a wonderful spot. The atmosphere is also very charming and the weight staff was amazing. I really can’t rate it any higher. It was over $100 without tip and no alcohol, but worth it IMHO.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. From the very beginning, the service provided by the waiter Campell left much to be desired: inattentive, uninterested, and unprofessional. As for the food, I ordered the cheese fondue and it was a huge letdown. While the flavor was acceptable, the preparation was terrible—the bottom was so thick and rubbery it felt like chewing gum, while the top was oily and watery, almost like melted butter mixed with water. This is far from what one expects from a proper fondue. Overall, both the service and the quality fell far below expectations. I will definitely not be returning or recommending this place.

Cache cache is well known in Aspen as a high end French restaurant. The food did not disappoint. Truly delicious well prepared meals and beautifully presented. The salmon and trout dishes we're the best we've eaten as was the Osso Buco. While the acoustics prove to be a bit challenging, it was overall a wonderful experience. The staff was quite attentive, although they were very busy at our 8:00 p.m. dining time so it was a tad slow. A solid five stars for the food and wine selections available in this fine dining stand out in Aspen.

Loved Cache Cache ❤️. First time in Aspen and we ate here twice during our 4 day visit. Delicious and flavorful pork chop with homemade pasta. Yum! French onion soup was superb! I have been in here twice over the past week to take advantage of the local's special at the bar. $10 for a glass of rose and $25 per meal is a seriously awesome deal in September for locals, and we appreciate that! It was just a very underwhelming meal. For starters when we arrived it took quite a while for someone to greet us and just give us water. We sat inside and the head bartender was either in a bad mood or just liked to throw bottles around. Every time he finished a bottle, he literally threw it in the container pretty aggressively. At first, we thought it was an accident but it kept occurring. It was annoying. Additionally, we were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. There was a large group sitting at a table and quite frankly they made a mess. That's not the restaurant's fault but it stayed that way for the hour and a half that we were there, which was kind of gross. Food all over the table and floor.
We had high expectations for this restaurant as our first meal was at element 47 and it was incredible there! Great service, great food so we thought that the Ajax would be the same, but more casual and it certainly was not. It was a three at best. Next time we stay at the Little Nell, we will not go back to Ajax Tavern. Very disappointing.

This is one of my favorite spots in Aspen. I would start by recommending the cauliflower appetizer. Additionally the cheeseburger is the best burger in the whole valley (or ever) with truffle fries which are incredible. We had dinner, but first sat at the bar, starting with a martini that was excellent—though we had to share one, as the restaurant had run out of Belvedere. That wasn’t the real issue, however.
We ordered the beef carpaccio as an appetizer, and it immediately tasted off. I chose not to eat it, but my partner did and unfortunately became very sick later that evening. It was clear the meat wasn’t fresh.

The Art Meuseum is a must visit spot in Aspen. It is free to visit and has some very interesting architecture. The view from the rooftop is nice and you can also grab a bite to eat in the Cafe. The exhibit was Andy Warhol originals which was cool to see those in person. I only deducted a star because I am not a major fan of this type of art and this was the only exhibit at a time. Got the rack of lamb special they had, Tasted very gamey. No one that I went with liked their meal. My fiancé got a steak and he thought it was just okay. My mom got fish and thought it was average. We stopped in Aspen for the night before heading to Maroon Bells and decided to try The Wild Fig after exploring the downtown restaurants.
The dining space was lovely, with a charming setup indoors and a beautiful patio where we enjoyed a magnificent June evening.
We shared some truffle fries, which were mostly tasty. My boyfriend ordered a New Fashioned, which he enjoyed. I, however, was very disappointed with my entrée. Our server was Blake and she, along with her team, were very attentive to the point of quality service.
We started with the French onion soup. We weren't sure if the soup was going to be on the salty side, since most places serve it that way. But it wasn't salty at all. It had excellent flavor and lots of onions, just like it should be.

Wow! This was our first time visiting Steakhouse 316 and it did not disappoint. I mean this place exceeded my expectations by a long shot, this was the best steak I’ve ever had. We also ordered loaded twice baked mashed potato’s and broccolini with anchovy butter, YUM. The flavor really stands out here, as well as the quality of the ingredients. We had the option of the dining room or the red velvet room in the back. We chose the latter. It was perfect. So private for us, but we could still see everyone. We had wonderful interactions with all waiters, staff (Alejandro, Justin) and found the conversation with them charming and relatable. I will always remember my time at Bosq. My Fiance had this as a surprise after our engagement on Aspen mountain. I truly appreciate the owners being so sweet to him, and helping get our dinner coordinated.
We travel all over and have been to multiple Michelin star restaurants, but Bosq is & forever will be #1 on my list for multiple reasons.
-the food embodies Aspen perfectly. The presentation of the food, the stories behind the ingredients, and most importantly: the taste. You guys nailed it.
-I loved how personable this experience was for us as well. I collect the menus from all MS restaurants we go to and frame them, and Bosq gave us one with our names on it + a handwritten letter & a beautiful candle from the owners.

I recently had the opportunity to dine at a French-run breakfast joint and was unfortunately disappointed by the quality of the food. For a meal totaling over $45, I was expecting a higher level of culinary excellence, but the burrito and omelette we ordered were mediocre at best.
The burrito was small and dry, lacking in flavor and overall appeal. The omelette, on the other hand, was a complete disaster. The eggs were overcooked and had a texture reminiscent of rubber tires, and the smoked salmon and spinach were not incorporated well into the dish. High price small portion subpar food with no service. Breakfast omelette was not cooked right. Chicken sausage tasted like cardboard. Toasts were dry and cold. $9 bullet proof coffee was weak and watery. We ordered sourdough but got white bread. We were charged more for the prices showed on the menu. Pastry review: The GF Coffee Crumb cake was excellent. The ratio of streusel crumb topping was spot on. The cake had pockets of a cinnamon filling that had a well-balanced flavor. The soft cake allowed the filling to not feel overly rich. You can see a close up in my picture of the cake.
The chocolate croissant, not pictured, was incredible. I am comparing the chocolate croissant to one of the top French bakeries in San Francisco that I visited last year (I'm originally from CA) and it holds its own as one of the most decadent chocolate croissants I have ever had. The chocolate pieces on top of the croissant are melted flawlessly into the croissant. The chocolate filling is spread evenly and has a decadent flavor with each bite. It was amazing. The worst part is that we live 4 hours from here.

We booked our Christmas Eve Dinner here, and this restaurant delivered. Not only did my boyfriend think the steak was better here than at Catch Steak, but the ambience was wonderful and magical (it’s designed like a London gentlemen’s club so it does lean slightly masculine in style.) All the staff were so happy to be working even though it was a holiday, and our waiter (his name starts with a G and sounded Italian) remembered both of our names and was so kind and hospitable to us. This was a very memorable experience and I would recommend this place to any of our clients visiting from out of town. We ordered the truffle mac and potatoes au gratin which were both cheesy and delicious. 10/10. The Manhattans were good though I wish I had ordered a red wine. I also think the actual filet mignon is better than the bison filet. My boyfriend ordered a bacon bourbon butter and ended up not eating it with his steak even though it sounded great, he said the steak was that good on its own.

I had a great late night! My husband and I were astonished that this restaurant is open 24/7. I parked my F150 for free in their car tower. The food was not the average casino frozen to table entrée. The service here was so personal. The calamari were tasty with just the right amount crisp. The diamond grill marks on my MR steak add a touch of virtuosity. I was craving Asian food and man did the chef deliver. Great job! Don't forget to check out my photos.

This is a fine dining restaurant and we ordered the Monarch Rockefeller, 32 oz Tomahawk Rib Eye (for 2) with Fingerling Smashed potato with Béarnaise sauce and finished with dessert of sticky toffee pudding.
We also enjoyed the Burning Man and Black Buffalo Manhattans.

Then when I came back worried trying to find it, I asked the bar, a couple of securities and the front desk to see if anyone turned it in, and all of them said no (except 2 young security guys who were very kind and tried to help me find it) I looked exactly where it was supposed to be at but didn’t find it so it was obvious that somebody grabbed it, but most of the staff were rude, I even asked the front desk twice regarding my lost phone and one of them who looked was very drunk was very rude at me like I am bothering him too much, and some of the security guys were insisting for me to come the next day, if it wasn’t because my friends were calling my phone persistently and a bartender answered and talked to a security guy, they weren’t willing to look it up. Worst social club ever. My family will be cancelling our membership. Went into the caribou club as an invited guest under my family’s account and the owner Billy was incredibly disrespectful and rude after not being able to find my name on the guest list. I called the owner of the account so we could try and fix it but Billy refused to assist us. Even before that his attitude was abhorrent. I’ve been in clubs all over the world Milan, capri, Miami, Vegas, Turks and Caicos, and many more. I have never experienced the level of disrespect I did here. I was served cappuccino in a to-go cup. Indicated that I was staying and it was switched to a 7-9 oz rocks glass. Please note pics with my cappaccino and the other is the unused cappacino mugs. Travelling the state with my brother who is in town on State Business. I guess since I had a backpack and sat at the bar I was considered a transient. Decided to order a club, tipped more than 25% anyway, total > $60. I was not asked how my food was until I was almost done. It was 2:00, end of lunch and I was the sole occupant at the bar. I’d say the food was good, but the service really wasn’t. If I had read the reviews mentioning poor service, I probably wouldn’t have come — but unfortunately, I didn’t, and ended up starting my day with a disappointing experience.

Had a great brunch here before hitting the road. Breakfast burrito was sizable and filling, got it with the chroizo which was not spicy even though they say it is a little. My wife got the salmon Benedict which was very fresh and had a generous portion of salmon and the hollandaise was house made and really good.
The cozy cabin/house is adorable and has a great vibe overall. Note that it is small and tight, would be tough to bring any sizable group here, recommend reservations during the season. We got in on a Monday (Presidents’ Day) without one and it was full but didn’t seem to be a wait at any point.

I am sorry to admit that I had initially dismissed this place from the outside as a tourist trap, given its central location and proximity to the Opera House. I am so happy to report that I was wildly wrong, and had one of the best meals in Aspen yet.
While some places may turn away a lone diner looking for a dedicated table instead of bar seating on a busy Friday night, I was warmly accommodated after a (relatively painless) ~20min wait in the queue. After that, service was FAST, getting my order and bringing it out in what must have been around 10-15 minutes tops. Their menu is creative yet focused, and and frankly for the quality, highly affordable. An amazingly prepared double stack Angus burger on a pillowy brioche bun with fries for $18.75? A side of truffle potatoes for just $11.75?? This is frankly ridiculous affordability for 2025, especially for the quality. The only thing on the menu at a more "normal" (read: mildly painful) price are the cocktails, but even there I felt I got a lot of bang for my buck - excellent quality, fun recipe (Cucumbers in Space), and a tall, wide glass that didn't skimp on the alcohol.
So, yeah. Maybe I shouldn't call attention to the affordability + quality of this place, lest they decide to hike the price... but for once, it just felt like my dollar was ACTUALLY paying for a great portion of high quality food in a delightful and unobtrusive atmosphere. This is how you do a decent night out without breaking the bank. Everyone else... take notes!!

I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant three times during my stay in Aspen, and each experience was just as amazing as the last! From the moment I walked in, I could feel the warmth and genuine hospitality that the owners, Maryanne & Harley provide. Thin slices of seasoned potatoes pressed into a French fry shape, creating an entirely new take on a classic side. It was such a creative twist, and they were perfectly crispy and flavorful.

PARC Aspen was an amazing experience, exactly what dining should be - great ambiance, attentive and knowledgeable service, and food that tastes amazing - clearly made and curated by people who have a passion for food. My dinner at PARC Aspen was the non-skiing highlight of my time in Aspen, it’s a meal I’ll continue to think back to - it was really that good!
Reservation - definitely need to secure one in advance. There were a few quirks with our party, and Jessica was soo kind and accommodating throughout, she set the tone for PARC in such a skilled way.
Ambiance - upscale, coat check, comfortable seating, beautifully set table and there were tasteful Valentine’s Day decorations
Service - Kelci our server was a master, he clearly knew the menu and provided thoughtful recommendations. He was also a wealth of knowledge on all things Aspen. John also worked our table, keeping our waters full and place settings perfect. The som was fantastic, and took the time to ask questions.
Food - loved every dish, everything a 10. The pasta feature was rich. Baby lettuces salad (the kitchen was able to split it to two plates) was likely the best salad I’ve ever had. For my main I had the Ribeye. I’m still thinking about every bite, so tender, perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor! The carrots were a perfect side dish. The desserts were rich and beautifully prepared, I so enjoyed the crème brûlée.
All in all - I 100% recommend PARC Aspen. Go and enjoy, I want to go back!

Our amazing evening started as soon as we walked in. We were there to celebrate my birthday, and upon giving my name to the hosts, I heard, “Happy Birthday!” The lovely young lady we gave our coats to echoed the sentiment. Duemani quickly became one of our favorite spots in Aspen—so much so that we went FOUR times within the first few weeks of our stay! This Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, with a special focus on seafood, truly knows how to deliver on fresh, balanced, and beautifully executed dishes. Every meal we had was an absolute delight, with each dish highlighting bold yet harmonious flavors that left us wanting more.
A few standouts for me were the Seabass Tempura—perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and flaky on the inside. The Roasted Artichokes were another highlight, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. And let’s not forget the garlic toast, paired with a confited bulb of garlic. It was a simple yet brilliant touch that elevated the entire experience.
The ambiance at Duemani is another reason we kept coming back. The vibe is laid-back and loungy, ideal for winding down after a busy day in Aspen. We stopped by for a takeout lunch, and compared to the steep restaurant prices in Aspen, it felt like a relief. Clark’s Market is a full supermarket, with free parking available at the front—very convenient.
Toward the back of the store, there’s a live food counter offering everything from fried burritos and deli sandwiches to mac ‘n’ cheese, brisket varieties, and pizzas. Most items are priced by weight, so you can grab just what you want. Bottled and canned drinks are available, and there are outside tables if you want to eat on-site.

We stumbled into Little Annies after a day of skiing on Aspen Mountain when a snow storm blew into town and we went into the first restaurant we came to. What a western gem. It was like walking into a saloon out of the old west; except that the food was delicious. I had the chicken enchiladas and my wife had the spinach salad with the best freshly made banana nut bread she had in years. We then visited with Ron, the owner, and found out that the restaurant is closing in two weeks and new owners are going to tear down this historic building and build a new restaurant in it's place. We can only hope that they preserve the old west charm.
Ron, thank you and your team for fifteen years of operating one if the few authentic and affordable restaurants in Aspen. May you have many days of sunshine and champagne powder snow in your retirement. Blessings!
