Wow, wow, wow! We read about Mawa's and dropped in for lunch last Wednesday. Our food was amazing and the roasted tomato soup and jerk chicken were sublime! We loved Mawa's so much, we came back two days later for dinner. The gumbo tasted like heaven! And three cheers for the bartender who made such an amazing orange cocktail, we had two! This is by far the best restaurant in Aspen. It might not be in the center of town, but it is so worth the small drive to get to it. The food is fresh and delicious and most of it is organic with a unique twist. Their brunch is incredible, Highly recommend the pancakes and shakshuka. Amazing! There was no detail left undone. The service was incredible for a busy Sunday morning, coffee hot, fresh juices, and everything was made from scratch. I met Mawa at the Aspen Farmer's Market. She was friendly and open. She invited my friend and me to her restaurant and I'm so grateful we went because the food was excellent. This is a very unassuming place, especially for a Michelin rated restaurant. I went for brunch and got the shakshuka and the lavender matcha latte. Both were FANTASTIC and I've had these items several times from other restaurants. The service was quick and attentive, the drink and food came out quickly, and everything was at a perfect temperature. The best part? Brunch here is very reasonably priced for the area, the quality, and the prestige. It's certainly not cheap, but it is a great value if you appreciate good food.

Let me start off the review with the food being quite good but definitely not worth the time. For example, when I ordered my meal of the gnocchi truffle (48$), the waiter then ask me if I wanted extra truffles on top. However I was unaware of the ludicrous amount they would rip me off with due to the prices not being mentioned on the menu. Those damn truffles cost more than my entire dish (50$). This place for me is a complete scam for anyone who values their money and dignity as the staff here feel like money-hungry vultures. This restaurant is truly extraordinary. I consider myself an onion soup, connoisseur, and this onion soup was among the best I have ever had. The summer salad was a 8 1/2 out of 10 it was fresh, but had a little too much dressing. The dessert, a crème brûlée crêpe was also to die for I will eat here every time I come to Aspen. It’s truly a wonderful spot. The atmosphere is also very charming and the weight staff was amazing. I really can’t rate it any higher. It was over $100 without tip and no alcohol, but worth it IMHO.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. From the very beginning, the service provided by the waiter Campell left much to be desired: inattentive, uninterested, and unprofessional. As for the food, I ordered the cheese fondue and it was a huge letdown. While the flavor was acceptable, the preparation was terrible—the bottom was so thick and rubbery it felt like chewing gum, while the top was oily and watery, almost like melted butter mixed with water. This is far from what one expects from a proper fondue. Overall, both the service and the quality fell far below expectations. I will definitely not be returning or recommending this place.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the French Alpine Bistro. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all top notch. Cozy French place located in basement cave that feels like you’re traveled to mountain chalet in Alps. High end feel but not stuffy or pretentious. The creativity in each dish is beyond one's imagination, and the flavors and execution are top-notch! All members of the restaurant deliver exceptional service and are knowledgeable about every dish. I was fortunate enough to dine at Bosq in 2024, after receiving a glowing recommendation from a local I met at an event. When I knew I was returning to Aspen, I made it a priority to secure a seat for this visit. I make it a mission to partake in Chef's tasting menus wherever I visit and the Bosq experience is in the upper echelons of my dining life.
The team moves seamlessly like a well choreographed dance, which complements the delicious and well presented food.
The sommelier did an excellent job with the pairings, given the complex flavors presented.

I will always remember my time at Bosq. My Fiance had this as a surprise after our engagement on Aspen mountain. I truly appreciate the owners being so sweet to him, and helping get our dinner coordinated.
We travel all over and have been to multiple Michelin star restaurants, but Bosq is & forever will be #1 on my list for multiple reasons.
-the food embodies Aspen perfectly. The presentation of the food, the stories behind the ingredients, and most importantly: the taste. You guys nailed it.
-I loved how personable this experience was for us as well. I collect the menus from all MS restaurants we go to and frame them, and Bosq gave us one with our names on it + a handwritten letter & a beautiful candle from the owners.
Wow! What a night to remember. Thank you for your hospitality, Molly & Chef. We will be back.

Very disappointed. For 2 cocktails, the chef tasting menu and the basic wine pairing (plus tip) the total cost was about $1,400. This food would have been disappointing for half that price. Chef Barclay Dodge is one of the top chefs in the world, hands down. Unfortunately I was too young to have experienced his magic at El Bulli in Spain where he earned his chops, but I was lucky enough to know him through the Mogador days in Aspen where he turned out some of the most creative and exceptional dishes of our time. Got the rack of lamb special they had, Tasted very gamey. No one that I went with liked their meal. My fiancé got a steak and he thought it was just okay. My mom got fish and thought it was average. None of our food was worth the money. We probably spent close to $600-800 on our dinner and it wasn’t good. We stopped in Aspen for the night before heading to Maroon Bells and decided to try The Wild Fig after exploring the downtown restaurants.
The dining space was lovely, with a charming setup indoors and a beautiful patio where we enjoyed a magnificent June evening.
We shared some truffle fries, which were mostly tasty. My boyfriend ordered a New Fashioned, which he enjoyed. I, however, was very disappointed with my entrée. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, expecting the delicate, buttery flavor that this dish is known for. Instead, the fish was firm and overly fishy—qualities that immediately suggested it was not fresh. At $64 for a very small portion, it was extremely underwhelming and frankly appalling to be served what tasted like an old piece of fish.
The atmosphere and service were nice, but the quality of my meal did not match the price point or reputation.

Our server was Blake and she, along with her team, were very attentive to the point of quality service.
We started with the French onion soup. We weren't sure if the soup was going to be on the salty side, since most places serve it that way. But it wasn't salty at all. It had excellent flavor and lots of onions, just like it should be.
I tried the roasted chicken rubbed with a Moroccan spice. It was cooked perfectly and had great flavors. The pan jar was soooo good. Loved it.
My wife tried the salmon in a bag special. Again perfectly cooked and flavorful.
They have a beautiful outside patio like seating but it was too cold for the restaurant to use when we were there.

My wife and I had the most incredible dining experience at The Wild Fig — truly the best I’ve had anywhere in the U.S. We started with a spectacular cocktail and a fig salad featuring port-marinated figs that set the tone for the night. Really expected more after eating at 316 in both locations , monarch, and woody creek many times. Not sure how this place is from the same owners. We have had many drinks with Craig over the years and I'm left confused after our dinner last night. The $50 dessert trio was comically overpriced and bad. The seafood risotto and veal dish were excellent. I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant three times during my stay in Aspen, and each experience was just as amazing as the last! From the moment I walked in, I could feel the warmth and genuine hospitality that the owners, Maryanne & Harley provide. They're so involved in every aspect of the restaurant, and it really shows in the atmosphere—there’s a personal touch that makes you feel like you’re a part of their community. Thin slices of seasoned potatoes pressed into a French fry shape, creating an entirely new take on a classic side. It was such a creative twist, and they were perfectly crispy and flavorful.

PARC Aspen was an amazing experience, exactly what dining should be - great ambiance, attentive and knowledgeable service, and food that tastes amazing - clearly made and curated by people who have a passion for food. My dinner at PARC Aspen was the non-skiing highlight of my time in Aspen, it’s a meal I’ll continue to think back to - it was really that good!
Reservation - definitely need to secure one in advance. There were a few quirks with our party, and Jessica was soo kind and accommodating throughout, she set the tone for PARC in such a skilled way.
Ambiance - upscale, coat check, comfortable seating, beautifully set table and there were tasteful Valentine’s Day decorations
Service - Kelci our server was a master, he clearly knew the menu and provided thoughtful recommendations. He was also a wealth of knowledge on all things Aspen. John also worked our table, keeping our waters full and place settings perfect. The som was fantastic, and took the time to ask questions.
Food - loved every dish, everything a 10. The pasta feature was rich. Baby lettuces salad (the kitchen was able to split it to two plates) was likely the best salad I’ve ever had. For my main I had the Ribeye. I’m still thinking about every bite, so tender, perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor! The carrots were a perfect side dish. The desserts were rich and beautifully prepared, I so enjoyed the crème brûlée.
All in all - I 100% recommend PARC Aspen. Go and enjoy, I want to go back!

Our amazing evening started as soon as we walked in. We were there to celebrate my birthday, and upon giving my name to the hosts, I heard, “Happy Birthday!” The lovely young lady we gave our coats to echoed the sentiment. Our wonderful, friendly and professional server, Iva, repeated the same thing. I have celebrated my birthday in numerous restaurants over the years, but I’ve never experienced this level of care for the customer. One of the owners also came by to wish me a happy birthday, and I even received a hand written card and the dessert was comped!
The food was delicious and the menu was creative. We gobbled up the bread, enjoyed the rabbit schnitzel, and loved the Colorado bass, and apple pie bread pudding.
We have never felt so well taken care of at a restaurant. We hope to go back to Aspen next winter, and will make it a point to go back to Parc Aspen again!

Duemani quickly became one of our favorite spots in Aspen—so much so that we went FOUR times within the first few weeks of our stay! This Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, with a special focus on seafood, truly knows how to deliver on fresh, balanced, and beautifully executed dishes. Every meal we had was an absolute delight, with each dish highlighting bold yet harmonious flavors that left us wanting more.
A few standouts for me were the Seabass Tempura—perfectly crispy on the outside while remaining tender and flaky on the inside. The Roasted Artichokes were another highlight, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. And let’s not forget the garlic toast, paired with a confited bulb of garlic. It was a simple yet brilliant touch that elevated the entire experience.
The ambiance at Duemani is another reason we kept coming back. The vibe is laid-back and loungy, ideal for winding down after a busy day in Aspen. Wow! This was our first time visiting Steakhouse 316 and it did not disappoint. I mean this place exceeded my expectations by a long shot, this was the best steak I’ve ever had. We ordered the 12oz eye of ribeye medium rare and it was perfectly seasoned, thick and juicy, cooked to perfection, and pan searing hot! We also ordered loaded twice baked mashed potato’s and broccolini with anchovy butter, YUM. The flavor really stands out here, as well as the quality of the ingredients. We had the option of the dining room or the red velvet room in the back. We chose the latter. It was perfect. So private for us, but we could still see everyone. We had wonderful interactions with all waiters, staff (Alejandro, Justin) and found the conversation with them charming and relatable. The Art Meuseum is a must visit spot in Aspen. It is free to visit and has some very interesting architecture. The view from the rooftop is nice and you can also grab a bite to eat in the Cafe. The exhibit was Andy Warhol originals which was cool to see those in person. I only deducted a star because I am not a major fan of this type of art and this was the only exhibit at a time. Visited Little Ollie’s Aspen in the off season. The whole town was very quiet as was the restaurant. Food was all OK - I really enjoyed the General Tao’s Chicken, but not so much our Szechuan Beef dish which was very watery for our liking.

Amazing food and such a great experience! The lobster seafood ramen was cooked perfectly and so flavorful, and the presentation was beautiful. The handmade dumplings and crispy fried salt & pepper squid were also delicious — super fresh and seasoned just right.

This private club and restaurant is adorable and a wonderful find in Aspen - very popular with local crowd which is always a good sign. The food and service is impeccable. The menu is very creative. I went last night (October 31st, 2025) for Halloween for the first time, and because my costume didn’t have pockets I didn’t have a place to save my phone, so it fell off but I didn’t notice it until I went out of the club. Then when I came back worried trying to find it, I asked the bar, a couple of securities and the front desk to see if anyone turned it in, and all of them said no (except 2 young security guys who were very kind and tried to help me find it) I looked exactly where it was supposed to be at but didn’t find it so it was obvious that somebody grabbed it, but most of the staff were rude, I even asked the front desk twice regarding my lost phone and one of them who looked was very drunk was very rude at me like I am bothering him too much, and some of the security guys were insisting for me to come the next day, if it wasn’t because my friends were calling my phone persistently and a bartender answered and talked to a security guy, they weren’t willing to look it up. So that’s very disappointing and I don’t think I’ll ever come back again.

Worst social club ever. My family will be cancelling our membership. Went into the caribou club as an invited guest under my family’s account and the owner Billy was incredibly disrespectful and rude after not being able to find my name on the guest list. I called the owner of the account so we could try and fix it but Billy refused to assist us. Even before that his attitude was abhorrent. I’ve been in clubs all over the world Milan, capri, Miami, Vegas, Turks and Caicos, and many more. I have never experienced the level of disrespect I did here. I am sorry to admit that I had initially dismissed this place from the outside as a tourist trap, given its central location and proximity to the Opera House. I am so happy to report that I was wildly wrong, and had one of the best meals in Aspen yet.
While some places may turn away a lone diner looking for a dedicated table instead of bar seating on a busy Friday night, I was warmly accommodated after a (relatively painless) ~20min wait in the queue. After that, service was FAST, getting my order and bringing it out in what must have been around 10-15 minutes tops. Their menu is creative yet focused, and and frankly for the quality, highly affordable. An amazingly prepared double stack Angus burger on a pillowy brioche bun with fries for $18.75? A side of truffle potatoes for just $11.75?? This is frankly ridiculous affordability for 2025, especially for the quality. The only thing on the menu at a more "normal" (read: mildly painful) price are the cocktails, but even there I felt I got a lot of bang for my buck - excellent quality, fun recipe (Cucumbers in Space), and a tall, wide glass that didn't skimp on the alcohol.
So, yeah. Maybe I shouldn't call attention to the affordability + quality of this place, lest they decide to hike the price... but for once, it just felt like my dollar was ACTUALLY paying for a great portion of high quality food in a delightful and unobtrusive atmosphere. This is how you do a decent night out without breaking the bank. Everyone else... take notes!!
