The ONLY reason I deducted a star is because the restroom was pretty nasty. I can understand when things get busy, maybe some housekeeping begins to suffer. They were just getting over the busy time that day, however, that restroom should absolutely be checked and cleaned more consistently. I am really glad my 7-year-old daughter didn't need to use the restroom there. One thing to note, their to-go containers leak. They are made of some type of recycled paper and the grease from the chicken soaks through pretty badly. Keep that in mind if you happen to put the containers on your lap or anywhere in your vehicle. Luckily, I had them in the ice chest in the back of my truck so no foul, other than having to rinse off some beers when we were back to the rental after sightseeing. Out of the three of us, I was the only one to eat more than a few bites. To start we had the fried jalapenos. Steak tacos were basic but okay - too expensive for what they are. The accompanying rice was bland and dry. Nachos were soggy immediately with bland chicken. After being seated we eventually had someone come over to take our drink order. These drinks didn't arrive for about 10 minutes. I've not been in a while but on our visit today I was pleasantly surprised with how things seemed to improve. The Ceaser Salad like dish is a new favorite with delicious fiesta chicken and a yummy savory sauce it's a wild twist on a classic. Enchiladas were also really good on this visit with a spicy chicken and two nice eggs. One really great thing here is you get very good portions for the price to the point most times I'd consider splitting an entree especially if you get an app. Chips and salsa free for the table with house made tortilla chips that come out hot and a verde sauce you might be inclined to drink it's so tasty. As mentioned the margaritas are classics. They specialize in a nice simple style lime tequila triple sec. Easy drinking. They also have frozen options with many fruity flavors if you are in a party mood, combining mango and strawberry made a really nice drink for us. The patio is the way to go even if the weather isn't great. Do consider reservations as they are usually very busy in the evenings. My recommendation is go for lunch or even brunch which surprisingly doesn't seem to be too busy at least not at all for our visit right at noon on a Sunday.

We all got meals. There were plenty of places to sit and you sat yourself. Menus and drink menu on the table already. Lots of tvs to watch your favorite team and a patio to sit on for great weather. The bar is huge with no many offerings we need to come back to drink. As far as the walls this is where it shines. So many awesome photos of Nashville sports and local stars. They did an amazing job on that. For drinks we all had either iced tea or lemonade which all very good and not too sweet. Food for us were the patty melt, turkey burger, chicken wrap, kids chicken nuggets, animal style burger and cheeseburger. All the food came out very warm and yummy. The fries were only the sad part, I wished they were hotter and more salt and maybe a little fresher. That was honestly the only down or con to the meal. All the entrees were excellent and I would highly recommend them again. Overall I am very pleased with the food, location and atmosphere. We will be back and make sure you all go also.

Now the vegetarian entree section isn't long at all (3 burgers). But the Seoul vegetarian burger was delicious. They also had the option for regular burgers to swap the patty with a black bean patty or impossible meat patty. The servers were nice but you do have to call on them. Nice assortment of non alcoholic drinks in the ZERO PROOF section. I really liked the sunshine spritz. The sweet and bitter flavor paired well with my food and didn't ruin the flavor. The fried pickles and onions were a great appetizer. They have a wonderful trivia night on Wednesdays where you can win a gift card so if you have a friend who you think would do well on jeopardy, bring them on your team. He was kind and attentive. I went in with my friend and classmate after a crazy school week at Galen. I am not much of a beer drinker but I wanted to try something different. The pimento cheese balls were delicious and unique. I got the daily meat and 3 sides special. I opened for the pulled pork but chicken was an option. If I understand it correctly it changes daily. We wanted the experience of local foods from a known spot. I chose whole Farm for meal for the both of us. I ordered the fried avocado taco, chicken taco, elite, and a margarita. The food was delicious! You order at the window and then find a seat and they call you up to get your tray of food. A guy was at the front that I believe was the manager and he quickly came and cleaned it up. Our waiter came and he bought our chips and salsa. I immediately saw something sticking out of the salsa (not sure how he missed it), but I couldn’t be too sure what it was until I got a closer look. I saw who I believe was the manager again, and I quickly notified him and he came and he got it. He apologized and he bought us some fresh salsa. I didn’t like the way the salsa looked anyway, even without the twisty thing sticking out of it, so I didn’t eat any. He then bought us some queso for the inconvenience. Although already turned off by the place because of “Alicia”, the beans and the salsa mishap I decided to stick it out. The queso was actually really good. We ordered the flautas and the shrimp Baja tacos. The flautas were ok so no complaints there and the shrimp tacos had a nice flavor but the presentation sucked. We both ordered frozen margaritas that gave no kind of buzz but they were really good. I then asked for silverware (I usually ask for plastics but just said forget it). The waiter bought them and when I took them out the paper sleeve (that read “this silverware has been sanitized for your protection” might I add) that they came in, that too was a turn off. I then asked for plastics (as I should have to begin with) because the silverware wasn’t too clean the waiter chuckled a little (not in a rude way but as if “sheesh they can’t catch a break” kinda way) and he bought us plastics. I was traveling from Mississippi back home to Cleveland Ohio, and stayed in Nashville a night to split the trip. Before heading to my hotel I stopped into the Wild Cow for lunch. John recommended the Buffalo Beans and Greens and it was amazing! In past visits I ordered the Wild Reuben, so I ordered two to go to pack in my cooler. Super cute spot with outdoor patio, huge menu selection that is ALL vegan. Our server was new to the area and made our experience even better. They were super friendly, upbeat and really helpful. We got the Buffalo Tempeh (yum) the French Quarter, which was a version of a french dip, the Ruben and a few deserts. Everything was amazing but the lentil stew was out of this world delicious. We got the sweet potato and black bean tacos, buffalo tempeh wrap and chipotle burrito. Everything was delicious and filling, down to the side salad, chickpea salad and lentil stew. Great service and friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Dishes were very creative and original with a lot of thought put into the creation however I found that the flavors for a couple of the dishes were unbalanced, either way too salty or too acidic. Boy do I wish I had stopped in sooner! My wife and I had the most delicious tacos we have had in quite some time and were able to sit on the rooftop bar next to the street. The food and drinks were real good but it seemed a little too pricey for my liking . It isn’t a fancy restaurant to be charging 13 dollars for a glass of margarita. It's within walking distance and it's quick along with a reasonable price. There is a wide menu here and you should have no problem finding something you like.
