Lots of interesting history and had beautiful architecture. Room was clean, sleek and comfortable. Had a window view of, the titanic museum, which was a gorgeous view, it was all lit up at night. The service of the hotel workers was impeccable, friendly and attentive. Only downside was the breakfast, while it was okay but I felt it could be better. But overall, as a solo female traveler I felt safe, comfortable and left feeling satisfied. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is interested in the history of the Titanic, Shipping docks and the White Starline. Thank you, Hotel Titanic for this amazing experience.

Location of the hotel for our stay was very central which was ideal as we were very disappointed to be refused seating at their restaurant for breakfast after paying a 5 star rating price for a deluxe double room on the 21st floor. We were refused breakfast as my husband was wearing can you believe a ‘jersey’. The staff on shift were very unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable that we hadn’t booked booked breakfast with our stay, insulted us by telling us the price of their breakfast as if we couldn’t afford it and proceeded to pretend to look for a table when really she approached the restaurant manager to tell us we wouldn’t be served due to my husband’s jersey. It is a very nice high rise hotel in downtown Belfast. The staff is wonderful and very helpful. The staff at the Merchant seemed to understand that we'd paid a good amount of money to have afternoon tea...a good majority of the staff at the Grand central did not. The merchant was much much busier than the Grand central was, yet the staff at the merchant was there as soon as your tea needed refilled (they always made time for you), the grand central was like a damn ghost town, yet gave the lame excuse that the bar was really understaffed and a lot of people were asking for cocktails...sorry but where were these people that were asking for cocktails? Also, it was 3 waters, we didn't order alcohol once.

The main issues with the rooms were attention to detail, lack of toilet roll, only one towel,no water in the fridge,no restocking of teas and coffee and cups. Particularly the bus tour; there are two main bus tours in Belfast, I believe the "city tours Belfast" is superior to the one they recommend "sightseeing Belfast", although they look identical. B. Meals and breakfast Because of the other issues, we tried to stay out of the hotel. Breakfast was not included in our initial booking, I think its around £15, maybe a little more. There are plenty of places in the city for breakfast or dinner. Coco being a great restaurant. After a painfully long check-in, we were informed the room we paid for “wasn’t available” and were shoved into a depressing room overlooking an alley full of industrial bins. Check in was friendly and nice and I got a late checkout when we left because I’d joined Ihg rewards a few years back. The room was smart, clean. Amazing shower. Comfortable bed with white cotton linen. The cleaning staff are the best. Tea/coffee in the room. We were very happy The location is great. It’s on the end of historic Sandy Row. Right by the grand central station trains and buses. Close to The Crown Pub which is very famous. Easy walking distance to the centre full of shops and great places to eat. Tip if you’re coming from the station look for a place called Halt. It’s got a bright yellow entrance. If you walk in and go straight to the other end you come out at the hotel. Myself and a large group of girls had the pleasure of staying at the Ramada hotel for 3 nights for my hen in Belfast back in July-August 2025. What an amazing time we had. From the moment we arrived, Marc, the general manager, greeted us, introduced himself and looked after us for the entire stay. Marc you were INCREDIBLE. As a loud and excitable group of geordies, we were never told to keep it down, but instead Marc reassured us each day that there were no complaints and we were a pleasure to have (the walls must be thick). All of the staff made our stay so enjoyable. Anything we needed was brought to us almost instantly. Marc checked in with us whenever we saw him and was like our own personal hype man 👏🏽 and hopefully he enjoyed all the debriefs of our crazy antics each day (we know you didn’t ask to hear them 🤣). Between the whole group there were a number of meals consumed throughout our stay and all the food was great. The rooms were clean and the staff were just fab. Check in process was easy with assistance using temporary key cards until we got proper ones when the technical issue was fixed, checking out at the end was handled well as the staff informed customers to drop key cards off at the desk in front of people who had queries as we were not waiting in their line. Messages at the back of Reception's wall are welcoming and signs help navigate around different floors, the rooms are quick to find too. Lift works efficiently and beds are cosy for a proper night's rest, varied types of lighting available across the room to relax however we'd like! The location is very central to the shops and train station. Rooms very clean and modern. We were travelling with our 9 month old baby and the staff were absolutely incredible with her. Super friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay as easy as possible. A big shout out to the lovely lady on reception and the lady and man working in the restaurant / behind the bar. The room wasn't as big as I expected, a chain hotel room would be larger. Had issues with key cards on both our nights. The breakfast coffee machine was constantly broken both days we had breakfast. Having to fetch milk from downstairs is an annoyance. Because some of the furniture is locally made and handcrafted they aren't the best; the cups in the room are tiny and the beside tables are soo small, I couldn't fit my phone, wallet and a book. The book had to go on the floor. There was some empty soap in our room our first night, we got new towels the second night but the soap didn't get topped up. Because they allow pets, there was a dog on our floor that barked anytime it heard someone in the hallway, I think he was locked in there for a long time while whoever was staying went out. There is a surprise £50 deposit when you arrive, I understand it but not a nice way to start your stay. There are some great facilities if you know you're going to use them. The on-site washing machines, bar downstairs, art gallery, bag storage. And the staff were terrific. However, if you want a room to just sleep in and recharge after exploring the city it's better to book a chain hotel. If you don't want their other facilities and don't worry about the sustainability of your hotel they don't add anything new and slightly worse on average.

The decor made me smile each day. Rooms are themed and overall it was a celebration of Ireland. Our room, the Oscar Wilde , was very large with bookshelf of literature and his complete works on coffee table. Bathtub was a dream after a day of walking and exploring. Food and service excellent. We enjoyed our breakfasts - nice buffet and fresh to order menu items. It was a pleasant 25 minute walk to city centre and across street from Queens University and Botanical gardens. Lived our stay and highly recommend!

We were greeted by very friendly and caring staff, with big smiles. We were very happy with the room which was kindly upgraded. The interior design and attention to decor is very pretty. Bathroom is modern and very clean. We had a bath in our room which was very relaxing, the products provided smell amazing. The bed is extremely comfortable with a lovely view over the autumnal street full of yellow and orange leaves and tree’s. I really love the wall paper in this room, it’s very eclectic and dreamy. As a woman, I have to say I love all the mirrors and the vintage wardrobe for sitting and doing my makeup. A shout out to the breakfast as well which was just fantastic, orange juice in a wine glass, vintage elegant cups for coffee, pain au chocolat, different cheeses and porridge, yogurts. The perfect breakfast, so healthy and European! Also the man at the bar yesterday from Ireland was really kind and spoke to us about his experience working with cocktails and the vibe was so cute. Definitely coming back for a longer stay next time in Belfast. Thank you!

We loved it! The hotel celebrates people important to the area. We stayed in the John Cleaver suite (we got upgraded). The room and adjoining bathroom was beautiful. The owner has obviously put a great deal of thought and care into this hotel. I loved that it's not got a corporate identity and the quirkiness of it. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was incredible, with so much choice, we've never seen such a decadent breakfast in a hotel. Drinks and entertainment are available in the lounge in the evenings. We didn’t take advantage of this, purely because I have ME (chronic fatigue syndrome) and I needed to rest early in the evenings ahead of the next day's activities. Situated minutes from a bus stop for buses into the city. The hop on, hop off tour buses stop outside too. We had a wonderful stay - first time to Belfast but we will return!

Really fun experience walking through hotel. Everything is clean, tea, coffee and milk provided with a coffee maker, treat and water. The wifi didn't work, the main living room in the Presidential Suite had no lights (Only lamps) and no fridge in the suite or rooms. We had a meeting suite included in our stay though which did have a fridge in it, but it was slightly disappointing that the rooms themselves didn't. The fuse for the room kept tripping and it was very annoying having to constantly ring reception to ask them to sort it. The rooms and suite we had booked though were beautiful with a great view of Belfast. In terms of the quality of service however, it's exceptionally good. Rebecca and her staff went up and beyond to cater to all our needs and went out of her way many times to ensure we were satisfied all throughout our stay at Voco. I've honestly never seen any hotel manager go out of their way for guests the way Rebecca did - she's a top woman who sets a great standard of what should be expected of a hotel manager. If you're bringing a car, ignore the signs for the paid parking rates which Apcoa charge up to 20 pounds for a 24 hour stay. If you're a guest, its 10 pounds for the duration of the stay and they'll validate the parking for you. Apcoas signs are misleading, but the hotel does state it on their website about the discounted parking rates for guests, but maybe an actual sign on the grounds would do no harm either. Overall we'd a great experience and highly recommend Voco.

All rooms were great with decent views (2 on 4th floor and 1 on 6th floor). The hotel reception is beautiful - as soon as we walked in we felt relaxed. There's loads of seating and tables and it leads nicely to the bar area which looks out on to the water. The bedrooms we had were the basic ones but there was nothing to fault at all - we had a safe, good sized TV, really comfy mattress toppers, air conditioning (very much needed as it was humid), tea / coffee / biscuits, great shower (rainfall one and a separate one that you could lift off, both could run at the same time), soap and hand lotion at the sink / shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower is all provided. Also had an iron / ironing board in each room which came in handy having crammed small cases very full. Breakfast was buffet style, plenty of choice of hot and cold, and for once a toast machine that doesn't take an age. The location is perfect if you're going out and about around Belfast, there is a separate entrance / exit at the rear of the hotel which cuts through to the edge of the city - we visited the city centre each day on foot (about 10 minutes walk) and we had a cab to the Titanic Museum (5-10 mins). Nothing is very far so you can pack loads in. Lots of great restaurants within 10m walk - we visited The Ivy and Edo (tapas), both of which were excellent. Would definitely stay here again, we enjoyed every minute, thank you!

It's about a 10–15 minute walk to the city centre—not far at all—and ideal if you prefer to be slightly outside the hustle and bustle. The rooms are spacious and have clearly had a facelift as part of the 2024 renovation. However, the bathrooms haven't had the same treatment and feel noticeably dated in comparison, with poor water pressure being the main issue.
