We booked here to see what the vegan options were like as we had not visited in quite a few years. We had the vegan meatball pizza and built our own, adding the vegan pepperoni for protein. I would say the meatballs are stand out and super flavourful, so would advise anyone to try them out first. I enjoyed the vegan pepperoni but the meatballs were a tough act to follow! The vegan cheese is also really enjoyable, striking a good balance between consistency and strength. I also love the dough as it is not very greasy or too thick. Overall I would say the pizza is very tasty and for vegans you have some strong options to keep you coming back. My only criticism would be around service times, it seems like they need more staff or maybe even an app. This would help to get things moving quickly. For example our food came out before our drinks, which shows there is a disconnect somewhere in the process! It's small but cosy and the staff are very friendly. The toppings are unusual but they worked perfectly. Of the four pizzas we got I definitely recommend the hot dog. Crispy and chewy straight out of the authentic wood fired oven. They operate a bring you own policy and have a corkage fee. I thought £1.00 per bottle of beer was a bit much when they aren't serving you the beer or refrigerating them for you.

The menu was simple, which we quite like, but the variety of vegetarian options was very limited, especially the starters. The pizza looks wood fired however the base had lots of black spots which tasted of burnt rather than fired. The garlic butter tasted bitter like the garlic was more raw than roasted. Hours later and I can still taste burnt Pizza Bread despite eating other things since. For the Fried Mozzarella I got 5 or 6 small balls which were accompanied by red onion & balsamic chutney but, unfortunately, it was all very dry. The bits of onion in the chutney were quite big and there wasn't much moisture. If this had come with a marinara dipping sauce it would have been much better. The staff were very nice but I left disappointed in the food. Other diners seemed happy with their food so maybe I just got unlucky with hot-spots in the pizza oven but I probably won't go back to try again.

We attended on a Friday evening. The restaurant was busy, some noise both not overly loud where you couldnt have a conversation. We were seared withib 5 kinudrtes of arriving. Upon the recommendation of a friend, we tried out Honest Pizza Company and I’m glad we did. The staff were very welcoming and accommodating, very kindly explaining the variety of their menu to us. I'm normally very critical but If you're in Belfast/N.I and looking for a Quality, handmade pizza which isn't greasy and tastes as fresh as can be...look no further. The dough lives up to their claims, and then some! It's on its own level, way above Pizza Express, Dominoes etc It's quite a hidden gem as the exterior of the place is fairly modest and just looks just like a quirky independent takeaway. But don't be fooled, it is easily restaurant quality food, at a modest price.

I came years ago and it was great, I loved the atmosphere and food, but it’s not what it was. The food was average. Parmesan potatoes were soggy and poor quality with large lumps of Parmesan on what felt like basic baby potatoes. It’s hard to get potatoes wrong. I recognise the pizzas are supposed to be classic style but they were only average. The pasta choices were also quite limited and other Italian places like Coppi have a much more interesting and thoughtful offering. My receipt said £60+ but they charged me £40 and I’ve no idea why. Not complaining, but zero explanation. The takeout service looks good and I’d try this but, I wouldn’t come back again to dine in unfortunately.
