This was our first time entering the South Water Park. We had no idea about this water park but we had to spend 5 hours somewhere near this area. We bought 5 tickets at ₹650 per person which included welcome cold drink with chowmein and an unlimited plate of Chole Bhature as food. This was an absolutely wonderful experience with Ankit providing great knowledge and experience. As far as I can tell, the setup seems to be as follows: The site holds 80 elephants of which 15 are owned by one person on behalf of which Ankit manages the welfare of those elephants. There is zero subsidies provided by the government, and the cost of looking after the elephants is covered via tours.
