The model railway at new Romney is really well put together, the cafes are good and it's probably the best way to get along the coast and have a look around.

No sure on the quality of the water tho, so best check online when you go, as UK beaches have sadly taken a turn for the worst over the last few years, which is a real shame. The beach is nkt crowded but is definitely a wonderful gateway to go and spend time away from daily monotony of life. Being in Ashford, we took bus 500 straight to the beach area. We went around 1pm in afternoon and stayed until 3:30pm in the seabeach along with having lunch there until thick black clouds came and started to pour in badly. The coast line is long and is definitely a calming place to enjoy away from daily hustle of life.

So we feed the girls carrots which was lovely, they are so gentle and take the carrots out of your hand. They are so elegant. So we were allowed to re book our Alpaca Trek for another time. As you can't predict what the weather will be like. The staff are very friendly and helpful and welcoming. There is a cafe on site called The Picnic Hut which serves English breakfast and other things like sandwiches cakes and biscuits. It is very reasonable and the food is amazing. There is also a souvenir shop selling all the Alpaca items. Keyrings and magnets with all the Alpaca's on, socks made out of their wool, which are really soft. Also soaps from a local firm Marsh Soaps are available they are reasonably priced and are all organic amazing fragrances, including coffee and lavender. Would definitely recommend it to anyone and would definitely visit again.

I've been before with my mum to do the trekking & that was amazing & a great experience. We both love alpacas & to be able to get so close & spend time with them is wonderful. My mum refers to this visit as being the best day of her life, 2 years on, it still is! We visited today for just a meet & greet as walking is proving more difficult for mum now. We started with a delicious cream tea, kindly made to order as I don't eat meat, the scones were freshly baked this morning and truly scrumptious! The staff in the cafe & the shop are all so lovely & nothing seems too much trouble. We then set off with the lovely Sam to meet the alpacas. Just the 3 of us so it was like a private tour, and mum could go at her own pace without upsetting anyone! It was great to see them up close again and see the young ones, so cute! Nonetheless cozy due to the server who runs their shop seemingly solo. Great hospitality. The food was interesting. I had a mango / coconut / flaxseed smoothie for £4.50, it was a huge portion. The carrot cake was a bit overpriced for the taste, £3.50 for a square. It was beautifully put together, but it was tangy and bitter, wasn't cake-y at all. This is my opinion if course, especially since eating Vegan is a commonplace for me and I've had better. But I'm sure others will find something to love here. I almost didn’t visit because some reviews were so harsh on tripadvisor, but I’m so glad I tried it out for myself and my little family. It’s a perfect place to take the kids if you’re looking for somewhere more than your average local park but less than a big day out at the zoo etc. We attended on ‘Character Day’.
