The property itself is very cute and inexpensive. We were about 5 minutes away from malecon and 5 minutes away from El Mirador. Security didn't seem to be an issue as there are cameras and the owners live on the property. Our parking spot was right in front of our room where we could keep an eye out for it. The room was cozy and clean and the AC kept our room nice and fresh. We had a little refrigerator and a sink which we used as a bar. There was a spare bed which we didn't use but the extra blankets came in handy. The wifi was pretty fast and we were hooked to Netflix when we hung out in our room. FYI we paid $3 U.S dollars from here to Malecon and from here to El Mirador. Don't let these taxi guys scam you!!!! Its literally 3-5 minutes away from the main tourist places. However I loved this cute little spot. Hoping to come back soon. (P.s. we paid $100/night during labor day weekend. I'm sure the rooms go for way less on non holiday.)

Would give more stars if I could. Loved being able to walk to the beach and to small stores around hotel. Hotel Room: The room was way bigger then I thought it was going to be, we were in condo 1 or room 16. It said condo 1 on key and 16 on door, but did not matter to us. The room had 3 beds and full kitchen. Even came with a water machine and refillable bottles! It had a grill and sitting area for us to use, with wood burning stove to keep us warm. Loved It. Although I must admit I did not cook the weekend we were there, it was nice having full sized fridge and microwave for left over take out. Staff Members: My husband got key from owner, but he said that he was a really nice man. Even pointed out were on the property our room was. When checking out I gave key back and was greeted by a young lady, she was very sweet. As we were leaving she wished a safe trip home. When we had questions they answered them, just wonderful people to communicate with. Mexico: You need to have a converter, for cash. OMG I did not and I got wrong change a few times. It was not a hugh deal but I wish I would of had it. I will start with bad things there, the beggars and people trying to wash your car/ windows. I understand they are trying to make money for there families but they are overly aggressive. Really that's all the bad, the Great things. The beach is amazing and it does not close, when we were there we saw a whale in the water and possible a shark fin, not sure if it was but still wonderful scene. The little shops, you can buy dress'es and clothing for very cheap. We even found an I Phone brand new for $13 USD or $200 Peso. Unbelievable! Staff was more than helpful during the day and your pretty much on your own at night. Place has excellent led lighting at night, electric, sewer and fresh water hookup. Spots are double parking for your rig and vehicle. Bathroom's and shower are modern and fairly clean. Has a laundry room but bring bring US quarters. Avoid camping by the back wall by the pool residents behind the wall raise roosters so you will be awake at 4:00am guaranteed. All in all my family felt safe, guy onsite will wash and hand wax your coach top to bottom for $1.50 a foot! Great place going back for New Years!!!

Area was isolated and on the outskirts of town amongst construction. No walking to the beach or anywhere. No gate nor security. Probably just us nervous travelers with a new rig worrying about nothing yet we didnt feel safe so it was hard to relax. It just wasn't what we were looking for so we moved to Playa Oro on the other side of town.
