Our room was for 3 people with a king bed and an extra bed, very comfortable and spacious. The hotel has great facilities like a gym and an indoor swimming pool. The gardens are super beautiful, as you can see in the pictures. We mainly ran into the parents (grandparents?) from the family running it, they were very nice, but little english. The rooms are quite comfy! Have everything you need. I read from the other reviews that you can rent bikes here, the manual ones seem quite good, but the automatic ones not so much. Duy was really helpful. He helped me plan my trip to fansipan, drove me to the station and placed me into the queue. I especially appreciated the free water and soft drinks every day. The staff were friendly, very helpful and professional. The location was a bit more isolated than I expected. While this hotel is away from the noisy town centre, to get there, you have to walk up a hill with no street lights, as well as construction and garbage piles along the way. It may be best for solo travelers to take a taxi/Grab on the way back to the hotel once the sun has set. The pool and the spa were disappointing, hence the average review. The pool faces the street and lacks privacy. You can hear and smell the traffic. The spa was terrible for the relatively hefty price. The massage was good, but the other spa services were below average. I was especially concerned about the hygiene - the towels smelled unclean, the sink in the room had a leak, and the bathtub had grime and other people's hair. If I could give 10 stars for service I would, the staff were so lovely, welcoming and constantly on hand to help if you needed anything. The rooms were beautiful and the bed was so comfy. We also had a bath which was great to relax in. The hotel is a bit outside the centre (10 min walk) which was perfect for us as it was really relaxed and calm area. There's really great restaurants all around the hotel and a very cute golden retriever outside one of the shops next door. There's also a small shop great for grabbing snacks in just next door to the hotel. The breakfast served is great and you're able to order off a small menu which is lovely. My boyfriend got a massage during our stay and felt very relaxed. The staff make it so easy to organise things like this and laundry for you! The staff even gave us bananas and water for our bus journey on the day we left which was very thoughtful. The WiFi was a bit slow but the staff were responsive when we brought this up. And sadly there's no stunning view from the hotel rooms themselves but you get a beautiful view as soon as you step outside! I'd recommend staying here to anyone who's visiting Sapa!

In winter Sa Pa is quite cold but in the room there is a heating bed so you wouldn't leave your bed easily. There is a common kettle for tea and coffee, as a coffee addict it is always important to have it. The room is big and clean. I really want to say thanks to the lady because she is really sweet and gave us fruits and sweets. Overall an amazing stay. We also loved the two cats! P.s. the homestay is not in the centre but the location wasn't an issue also because if you want to eat near the lake the prices are quite high. Extra tips for vegetarians and vegans: the homestay is near to two vegan restaurants and there is a banh mi place which prepares it with eggs for 30k.
