Sent it back. They cooked another for me which came out perfectly cooked and delicious. My Mum ordered the Whitting at $44.00 she expected a large serving but received 3 very small pieces which she sent back. They did replace it with 3 larger pieces but still not worth the money she spent. I purchased bread rolls for half the table, tiny they were. Its a shame that pubs now charge for tiny bread rolls when they used to be complimentary. When paying over $40.00 for a meal you'd expect the bread to be complimentary. It was very loud in the outside area where we were seated, so loud that it was hard to have a conversation. In summary my second meal great but wont be returning in a hurry.

Really authentic Italian food and warrants its 4.5 star rating. Food was delicious. Great serving sizes and the pizza garlic bread was stunning. I had the pork and beef Ragu and it was very tasty. Good amount of protein and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The carbonara was also a welcome choice with flavours and not overly saucy. The service was friendly, food came out fast and hot and the atmosphere is awesome. Digging the vibes of the 1850’s brick building. It wasn’t far off a full 5 star rating and I’ll absolutely be coming back again soon to try more dishes!

The already sour manager then came to retrieve the plate, stating 'you ordered two meals, that's expected, you should order one' ... we ordered TWO meals, it wasn't a table of 10 people. 2 meals for 2 people, yes we shared the 2 meals between us, and ate them at the same time (the menu even suggests it is designed to share, so we did!). Regardless, they both should be at least safe temperature, not lukewarm and looking like it has been sitting there for an hour. This is hands down the best burgers I’ve had in Adelaide, maybe anywhere. And specifically, the OG Nordburger in Hindmarsh. I’ve been to others but even they don’t compare to the original. I’ve been here many time and the burgers are always on point. Consistency is as important as anything else and this team nails it every time. My go to burger is the bacon double, but I’ve tried several others including some chicken burgers and they’re also elite. The burgers tend to be on the greaser side, so I often save it for a chest meal and I’m not coming here every week, but the flavour is outstanding. Have been here many times, and will continue to go back many more times. Good job Nordburger in Hindmarsh. 5 very well deserved stars! See you next time!

Stopped in on me own for a feed at this little gem down at New Port — and fair dinkum, what a spot. We were unhappy to we told that lady that we want Veg noodles, yes we did not mention the word Pad Thai Noodles but we mentioned Veg Noodles. There was clearly some misunderstanding. We requested that can you just get some pad thai noodles & mix the whole stir fry with that and serve us. She goes & called the other lady with short hair from the front desk. That lady has always been very rude, unhappy, not smiling, not even 1% customer service, highly unprofessional. She comes and asks what's the matter, we said the whole story, and she says no we can't mix noodles with stir fry as noodles does not have peanut sauce, we keep convincing her that we don't want to waste the food, pls just mix it for us and charge us whatever extra u want, but she kept resisting back and every sentence she spoke becomes louder and louder, we said please calm down, I'm not yelling at you. Then she says if you want to leave the restaurant, just stand up and leave. We were totally in shock! That was the most unprofessional and rude behaviour I've ever faced in a restaurant in 15 years. Still we remained calm and said please don't talk to us, you don't know how to deal with a situation, bring your manager, we are want talking to you. So she rushed to the kitchen and brought another lady outside, no name badge, comes and hears us and we repeat everything to her. She did not even understand English properly. She said let me check what I can do.. meanwhile this short-hair girl wanted to fight back but we said please ask her to leave as she is rude and we are not dealing with her at all. 5-7 mins later, kept waiting ⌚! She never comes out of the kitchen. We decided not to touch the food and go. We had an option to just walk out, still we decided to go to the counter and pay for the food. Quiet Thurs evening at the dining side of hotel which opens at 5.30pm. Very friendly & efficient waitress. Small menu selection at slightly above standard prices. Other meals coming out also looked delicious, including the generous rib-eye on the bone at $48 and S&P squid. Minor observation with inside chairs needing an upgrade as some were a little rickety and unstable. Otherwise the kitchen staff are efficiently skilled taking pride in food quality and delivery. Love the generous serving of the salad which was also nicely dressed. The squid was as expected and nothing to rave about. The haloumi chips was nicely grilled however we're not sure if the dukkah was a good complement. We ordered a couple of burgers through ubereats one double beef and one beyond beef. The staff forgot to label which was which. We called the cafe and Nikki tried to do her best to help us figure it out which burger was vegetarian and which was not. And as expected, this particular Subway in Port Adelaide was about on par with what you can expect. The food was tasty, bread was fresh, ticked all the standard boxes. Had some members not really experts in Filipino food so ordered the family boodle fight recommended for 4 to 6 pax. Different types of filipino style food with 4 buko pandan drinks included in the $165 price. (For 4 to 6 pax) Crispy pata, prawns, pork skewers, blue crabs, pansit bison, spring roll variant (lumpia) served on a banana leaf and large wooden serving tray. Actually tastes better with beer I find. The ones that haven't tried many Filipino dishes were pleasantly surprised. Total cost for 9 pax including drinks was $391.30. Parking was easy as most other shopping had closed after 6pm. Atmosphere was OK considering being on commercial road at Port Adelaide.

From the moment we walked in, the whole experience was confusing and disappointing. It took almost two hours from arrival to receive our main meals and when they finally came, the food was shockingly underwhelming. My crab pasta had literally no visible crab, not even a single decent piece. My husband’s dish, the so called ‘12-hour slow-cooked ragu,’ came with just three small chunks of meat. When I mentioned it to the waiter, the response was, “It’s supposed to be a bland dish.” I genuinely had no words. Throughout the meal, no one asked if we wanted more drinks, dessert, or even coffee. The staff seemed disengaged and unhappy to be there, which only made the atmosphere worse. I was astounded by the options for fake meat dishes. I went pescatarian a couple of yrs ago but there's still dishes i miss having so it is really nice having a restaurant that can cater to a vege diet. I had the combination pho and black salt tofu. I enjoyed the fried food as well, normally I detest a lot of fried food because it's greasy and gluggy but this wasn't. I also thought it was interesting that their meat menu was smaller than their vege menu. Was pretty cool to see and considerate of the owner to have an all-inclusive menu catering to a variety of needs/diets so anyone can be included. The owner was an exceptional host. The food was delicious and well priced, considering as well vegan/health food is charged pretty high in some places
