This winery is up there with the best winery experiences we’ve found. The cellar door and restaurant aesthetic and ambiance are first class. We felt like we were dining at a five star luxury resort. Did the wine tasting, bought 4 bottles and tasting was not charged. Our picks were the sparking, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Then went next door to the restaurant and were blown away. Had the 5 course tasting and it was sensational! The quality and flavours were amazing, savouring each and every bite. Staff were excellent. Cannot rate highly enough. Wishing we could come back.

I truly wish we could relive this day again. The staff on the day were incredible, well mannered and so friendly. The food was incredible, no one left the wedding hungry! I could not recommend this venue enough. If you're pondering where to get married, I would highly recommend Teakle Wines. The space and all the furniture is high end, it speaks for itself in creating a simplistic but beautiful aesthetic for any wedding, requiring minimal to no decorations.

Pleasantly surprised by the extensive menu. We ordered a mega schnitzel focaccia, a clean green juice, a cappuccino and waffles benedict. The focaccia definitely lived up to its word - it was massive. I ended up taking half of the focaccia home. It tasted fresh with lots of veggies, which is what I needed. According to my foodie buddie, the waffles Benedict was delicious and also came in a pretty decent serving. We didn’t have to wait too long for food, considering they were quite busy too. We arranged a private full day tour with David in June and whilst the weather wasn’t the greatest, the wildness of the coastline really made for a special day. My personal favourite is the Nduja & Fennel Sausage Ragu pasta! A great amount of heat with out of this world flavor. My husband raved about the Smoked Fish Croquette, and that bearnaise sauce deserves a standing ovation! The Pistachio cube is heaven on earth, that pairs beautifully with a hot coffee. It’s filled with a velvety whipped white chocolate and pistachio ganache. Both of the owners Grace and Marvin go out of their way to make you feel welcome in their beautiful cafe. We are so truly lucky to have them in Port Lincoln!! Whether you are passing through town on holiday or are one of the locals…we need to support this beautiful family and their little shop filled with love and delicious food!!

I drove close to 22 hours to come down for this. I was fully aware that these are wild animals. Wild animals will do their own thing. Di was very helpful with our booking. This is a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable bed and one of the best pillows I have slept on. The house was well equipped. It was great to find a place which was NOT pet friendly as it seems that most agents push the owners to make their property “pet friendly”. This makes it VERY difficult for us (and lots of others we know) to find a decent place to staywhen travelling. I am asthmatic and cannot stand the dog stink and smell in a cabin or house. It is also against health regulations for pets to be allowed in rental properties and even if the rules say the dog must stay outside, owners sneak it in at night. It is akin to allowing someone to smoke in the house as the stench stays in curtains and carpets. Well done Tanya for resisting this pressure. We found Tanya extremely obliging.

The Positives. -The Coastline is remarkably with many great spots to stop and take in the views along the Journey. -The roads are in pretty good shape and most spots I’d imagine you could get there in a 2WD vehicle. -For such an amazing location we only came across one other car during our journey, I’d assume that’s due to the $40 fee per car to enter. Some people have complained about this however this day and age that’s pretty reasonable for a full day family outing plus this allows you to camp on the premises for a night. The Negatives. -The place needs some infrastructure TLC. Many of the guard rails to protect people from plunging over a cliff have all rusted and fallen over. -Could do with some updated signage. It’s adequate but could be a bit more descriptive. Overall a great day exploring however I would have liked to know a little more about the history of the property along the way. It's a really wonderful Park it'd be nice to figure a way to slow the traffic down in National parks as wildlife are getting a flogging. A great variety of camps and also many with internet for those that need it. When you have a group of people in cars it's extremely economical but when you're just a single person like myself not so much. Some more options would be good.
