Great burgers great onion rings and chips too. At first I was worried when we pulled up the place looked dead and empty which is usually a sign to turn around and find another options but something told me YOLO just give it a go. That decision was confirmed when I saw how many take away bags /pending orders were lined up behind the counter. The wait was like 15 mins but the time flew by as we played connect 4. They offer an assortment of board games you can play to pass the time. The staff were very smiley and the vibes were good which was also a big plus. Very cute lil Cafe. Love our down to earth Aussie customer service we have in Australia, great to see from the staff. Food was delicious as everyone described it would be. Massive portion sizes, pretty presentation done by the chef at the front. Definitely makes a big difference walking into businesses and being welcomed by ALL STAFF and farewelled. We visited this place casually and were pleasantly surprised. We were late and Restuarant had only few customers eating. Quite comfortable seating and car parking on side street was also easy. Visited Breaking Bread as a breakfast stop whilst passing through Mt Gambier on a roadtrip, and was not disappointed. When we came in we were warmly greeted with a smile and a hello. We got a salmon cream cheese bagel, which was so good!! The bagel was toasted and warm, there was lots of smoked salmon, and the pickled onions and capers added a nice tartness to cut through the richness of the cream cheese and salmon. We tried Aloo Tiki for the first time with a refreshing mint sauce that cut through the savoury heaviness of the potato and lentil patties very nicely. I am not vegetarian but really enjoyed this dish, it had just the right amount of spice with great flavours. Texture was good, thick consistency but lentils still had some shape. My partner ordered beef mushroom masala which is a favourite of hers, it met her liking once again. Personally I prefer to order my Indian food with other proteins as I think that’s what many years of recipe development have been spent on, but the flavours did match the meat less commonly eaten in that part of the world quite well. Our garlic naan and roti were both fitting with our choices, it’s up to you if want thin and crispy roti, or thicker fluffy naan with your meal. We can recommend that either one is a good choice to make. Saffron rice had nice colour and was also fluffy, not too wet and not too dry.

However, after multiple visits I find that there is inaccuracies in their menus. Roast Pork serves same as BBQ pork, when asked the owner she said ‘its the same thing’. Was utterly disappointed with the response. Change the menu please and don’t deceive your customers thinking they will be getting Roasted Pork. And who puts cucumbers and bean sprouts in fried rice? Actually I don't agree with some of the reviews here which states that this restaurant has poor service and poor quality of food, this restaurant is actually quite good. The taste was delicious and quality of food was on top as well, the naans(whole meal bread) were very fluffy and properly cooked and butter chicken was finger licking . As far as service is concerned the staff asked me specifically how I want my food in accordance to taste and spicy and they made it exactly how I wanted so I give them full credit. I recommend everyone to go and enjoy the real taste of Indian food provided in this restaurant . I am definitely coming back with my family .

Watched the parade and then later company of some great army old timers with so many gallantry medals. Oat-Cap was mind blowing. Tried their HCT toasties and it was excellent. Booking was easy to make. Table was ready & waiting for us on our arrival. Was very busy in there, staff were polite & friendly.
