The café is really quaint, and I adored that you walk straight into all the deli and pantry goodies — such a nice touch and it instantly feels homely. Once we were seated, though, we were greeted with wonderful customer service that made the wait feel worth it. The food is a little on the expensive side, but honestly, it was so worth it. Everything was delicious, and the coffee was smooth and delightful, exactly what you want from a quality café.. Finishing up with a browse through the deli and pantry goods was the perfect bonus and really ended the whole experience on a high. Definitely a spot I’d return to!

We had some refreshments, coffees and dessert each, all in all a wonderful evening at the Aussie Beef Steakhouse. We highly recommend this establishment for a fantastic dinner experience, yes a little wear and tear is visible but more importantly is that the quality of the food you consume is five star. My Partner had the Eye Fillet and i had the duck breast. the steak was cooked to perfection, tender and seasoned well, even the salad didnt let us down. The sauce that came with the duck was to die for if only licking the plate was acceptable. the Wait staff were great couldnt speak higher of their work, and the atmosphere was what you'd expect from a 5 star resteraunt. without a doubt will be returning when we visit Stanthorpe. Arrived at their opening time of 5.30pm. By the time I left an hour later, the restaurant was beginning to fill up. Very cosy inside with a warm fire, keeping it toasty inside. A much enjoyed respite from the cold outside. Service was excellent from the moment I arrived. I tried 2 of their cocktails, the Blue Lagoon and the Toblerone. Both were delicious. I also ordered the chefs suggestion entree, bacon, and cheese croquettes. I tried the chilli aioli as the accompanying sauce, and while it was nice, it had a little too much heat for me, although I'm not a huge chilli enthusiast. When making the booking they made it seem they were doing us a favour to “squeeze” us in because they were so booked up. We arrived, were seated and waited an exceptionally long time to have anyone come to the table. We were two adults and one child. We ordered two soft drinks, a glass of wine and water for the table. One of the water glasses still had lipstick on it. The wine glass was also dirty. For our meal we decided to share a starter and a main. We ordered the spinach and ricotta cannelloni (starter) and the “creamy”fettuccine carbonara (main) explaining to them that we would be sharing. We also ordered the garlic rolls. Again an exceptionally long wait for the food. The main (fettuccine) came out first, before the starter (cannelloni). A giant bowl in the middle of the tiny table. We repeated to the server that we were sharing and would need bowls. Aside from all of that, the fettuccine was brown and watery looking. The server came back out with one bowl. One. We sent her back to get two more for the other two people at the table 🙄 The main came out before the starter. Then the they brought the cannelloni out. With absolutely no room on the table. The server was trying to cram it onto the corner of the table under my elbow. I took it from her and held it in my hand and she just stood there with a blank look then walked away. I served up the cannelloni into our bowls and put the large dish aside on their out of use buffet. Both dishes were lukewarm at best. Waiting that long for our meals, they should have been hot. The tomato sauce in the cannelloni was lacking flavour and depth. It was runny and weak. But the most horrific part was the so-called creamy fettuccine carbonara. There was an odd indescribable flavour in this dish. There was nothing creamy about this brownish sauce on the pasta. The pancetta looked undercooked and was not cut into manageable bites, as they were large pieces. It was a bit gross. The dish was inedible. Note the photos. One photo is how fettuccine carbonara is supposed to look. The other, Anna’s. This is probably one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I do not recommend.

Not sure why so many of the joints in town here are actually Korean restaurants moonlighting as country town fish and chips stores but not complaining- it’s not only authentic but uncle bob is a damn good cook. No complaints. The staff were friendly and helpful, the motel itself had such a cute layout with the outdoor seating areas, manicured gardens and swing. I believe it was either staff or the owners who were out gardening and taking care of the place. We tried the Beef red Thai curry, Vegetable stir fry with lamb and also Chicken Tom Yum soup. All are a must try when you come here. You can request for more spicy or adjust based on your liking too! Please try their coconut rice. The portions for me are quite generous. The service was okay. The staff were very helpful too. The interior restaurant looks like an old place, but still okay for me. If you're from out of town definitely give the Stanthorpe Aerated Waters a try, they are very nice (if they're not sold out as they're very popular). We we drawn to Vino Granito due to the outstanding Google reviews. There were quite a few people in the restaurant who were staying at the accommodation, so we were asked to partake in the buffet rather than having a la carte. The buffet resembled that of an RSL roast night with very limited options. The steak and chicken were quite flavoursome (even if the cuts weren't particularly amazing) and the desserts were fantastic. We ended up paying more than $60 a head (with a glass of wine), which I felt was quite high for what it was. All in all, the onwers have great potential - the chef really is talented, but is stretched thin and they're constrained by serving in the accommodation dining room.

The couple that own the motel and restaurant are absolutely lovely and so welcoming. The meals are also fantastic. We started with bruschetta and I think it’s one of the best I’ve had. We tried 3 times here to see if we could get just one decent lot of meat being that it is the only butcher shop in town. Night 1 sausages were ok but honestly, the supermarket sausages are better. Night 2 we tried the rump steak which looked delicious in the display window and was recommended by the butcher but was so tough and dry to eat. Night 3 was a lamb shoulder which we slow roasted and again tough as boot leather and no flavour at all. Unfortunately we will not be return customers and will instead stop in Warwick on the way here or buy supermarket meat. 2 stars is pushing it but we at least ate the meat so not a total disaster.
