The pool is ok, but was consistently a mess, with no staff paying attention to the space and the gym is a small space that they would be better closing as few gym goers would really use it. The rooftop bar could be a goldmine but with outdated furniture and only two staff at peak times and super high prices it is a turnoff. The view is brilliant and staff very friendly…. The room was nice, but housekeeping really needs to look at the small details…..deep cleaning and refilling the soap!! The layout was not very practical but clearly the owners have aimed for high quality furnishings. As stated it’s nice experience but needs more hands on management attention.

We stayed in the incredible Green suite and it was one of the most gorgeous hotel rooms we have ever had. 30 ft high ceilings, mosaic floors, gorgeous furnishings and a very comfortable bed. We requested for a table on the terrace which they set up specially for us, and later we realised that must have been a great deal of effort for the staff to serve just us on the terrace (we didn’t realise it’s just us upstairs when we asked for terrace) Food was delicious, all the small plates were excellent - very homemade. We customised the menu by ordering the mains we wanted as opposed to going by the set menu and they happily complied. The room was not clean when we first arrived, with lots of dust everywhere (I had to wipe everything). The garbage wasn't clean on the second day, so we had to ask for it to be cleaned. Service is not great and as a 3 women only group, we didn't feel the men that were working there treated us very well. It seemed that they were always "doing us a favour" and we would see them being polite and nice with other male guests but not with the female ones. This excludes the morning team. The rooms don't have locks, and the place is shared with a public restaurant, so we din't feel 100% safe. On the other hand the breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had in all Morocco. Overall for the price it is ok, but I wouldn't go back to this Riad if I had a better option.

Grateful to the pick up service that the restaurant offers to collect customers from neighbouring riads. We ate quite late and left the restaurant at 10.30pm, after closing time and the staff happily walked us home. Prices are on the dearer side but still very reasonable for a tourist-catering and English speaking restaurant, and in comparison to other touristy restaurants nearby. Great to also eat amongst the locals. Highly recommend the pastilla and a must visit when in Fes.
