I usually prefer focaccias warmed/toasted but even at ambient temperature it was so good. The chocolate thing was also good but not as good as the focaccia. I know we’re comparing apples and oranges here but still. The Chocolate Thing’s texture is soft and fluffy, a nice contrast with the focaccia chewiness. The only “issue” I have with the Chocolate Thing is the amount of chocolate. There were only a few chocolate chips sparse throughout the bread. There was plenty of street parking available. As we were walking to get in line (3 parties in front of us), 2 employees rudely pushed past us on the sidewalk. I love the old fashioned style this place has. They even have a neat looking super old school cash register. They make other baked goods and pastries but the fortune cookies are the main draw for me. Some of the best deals are the bag of "Rejected" fortune cookies they sell near the counter which are discounted because its a bit misshapen,has no fortune slips, or a tiny bit burnt(which i love and think it adds a bit more flavor). It is more known for their flat fortune cookies and pig ear cookies.
