Finally dropped in for a date night and the vibes are crazy good. They were playing some dope fusion stuff and the lighting was warm and cozy. When I ate mine, I saw various different kinds of meat in my rice, some dark, some white, etc. At first he thought maybe it was just pieces of cooked mushroom but when we found a big piece of chicken, he was very very disappointed. Also, the noodle dish was completely different than what he described to them. They gave us something called Vegetable Cantonese with a clear sauce and loaded with veggies on top. Based on the meat in the veggie rice though we will likely never go back to this place. I really suggest they use separate cookware for vegetable dishes to prevent cross-contamination as some people are allergic to meat or have an aversion to it like myself because I’m pregnant, it can be serious to accidentally get meat in a dish that should be strictly vegetarian, and also include photos of the food in-store or online to prevent customers from having to describe what they want and risk getting the wrong dish. Ordered from here years ago and was disappointed. Thought I would give them another try. Big mistake... I ordered two #4 combination plates, an order of General Tao and 4 eggrolls. The chicken balls were hard and dry, I only ate one. Same with the eggrolls it was like they're were old and double fried and the sauce was like apricot baby food. The chicken guy ding had some old carrots (removed them) in it and had a slight taste of fish/shrimp in it, and I don't eat seafood. The rice was old and had no taste. The General Tao just tasted like watered down soy sauce and it too was hard like it had been heated up multiple times and there seemed to be some dark meat in it too. The picture shows how much General Tao was left and we were two. That's my plate of what I had left. It looks good but trust me it's not! It was also late and we hadn't had anything to eat. I ordered just before closing too, if they would have still been open I would have brought the food right back. I'm sorry but you can get better chinese food in the frozen section at the grocery store. I should have ordered from Aylmer BBQ, sure it costs a little more but at least it's good. We had both the beef and chicken dumplings, the pork steamed bao, and the beef stew, as well as the pinky dragon smoothie and a bubble tea. On a tellement aimé qu'on est retourné le lendemain :) On a essayé l'entrée de dumpling de boeuf, bien savoureux. Par la suite, on a pris leur poulet au cari et les côtes de boeuf. La viande était bien tendre et les portions généreuses. Au niveau des épices, c'était correct, sans plus, on est davantage habitués au plats thaï alors il faut prendre ma critique avec un grain de sel! Les prix sont abordables. Au niveau dessert...ouf! On a adoré le sorbet à la grenade et les mochis, les meilleurs que j'ai mangé de ma vie! Mes deux préférés : framboise et vanille. Allez-y, ca vaut le détour!!
