This is probably my new favorite dish from them now (after the Kung Pao) ! I truly do recommend trying this restaurant out! I will FOREVER be a customer! We got the beef fried rice, which was overpriced and you don’t get much, plus, it wasn’t all that great. I’ve had better. But the General tso is definitely something I’ll come back to order again because it was quite delicious. They agreed to use white meat, but I just wish they fried the chicken a little better, since it was kinda soggy, but the flavor was really good. While in China we had been to many provinces and tried almost all of the regional cuisines. So whenever we find a local Chinese food place we order several dishes traditional to particular regions to learn the chefs or families cooking style....We ordered 4 dishes & First Chinese BBQ is a Cantonese restaurant. The BBQ pork was hands down the best I had since I lived in Hong Kong, my next favorite was an obvious cantonese style due to the sweetness of the sugar- pickled vegetables and pork intestines. I don't like the traditional flavor dish due to the sourness of the veggies, but my wife does, that sugar made this dish something all it's own and really good. Not a fan of the canton style of Mapo Dofu, wife liked it though, i prefer the Sichuan style. The hot and sour soup was also a big win in my book definitely will order that again. They also have several cooked meats by the pound which is awesome and I will definitely be back for often!!

Despite being in Texas, is definitely one of the better places that have quite fresh fresh to use for sushi. The owner is super nice, as well. With all this said, what really shined was the service. I sat at the bar and the bartender gave me incredible service. I really can’t write home about how attentive he was and how he really made an impression. Just for that bar to be set so high service wise is probably cause for me to return regularly. While the establishment is pretty clean and roomy, the food was not that good to me. My shrimp fried rice tasted stale and without any seasonings and I absolutely DO NOT LIKE OVERCOOKED SHRIMP😠! In Memphis we have Excellent Chinese Buffets/Take Out, but I'm learning here in Texas, that is not the case, at least in The Southwest part of Fort Worth. I felt soo lucky to have her as our server… I can not stress that enough, individuals like that are great for business. If I went back here I would want Tam as my server only. As for the menu, I am vegetarian and there was a vegan menu as well as vegetarian menu available which was so awesome! The fries did not have enough of that awesome dipping sauce, they should serve double that sauce. The edamame was okay. A lot of grease and oil between the fries and edamame, it was too much. Definitely my favorite vegetarian sushi I have ever had, it was not bland at all. The reason why I am giving 3 stars is because the atmosphere was not worth the price and with an ankle/foot injury it was not clear what so ever where the entrance was, after driving around the building twice I finally found parking but could not seem to find the front door. Once I did get to the front door it was locked with a sign saying the entrance has been relocated to the back, which was too much for my foot injury. By the time I was able to finally get a reservation after an hour wait and then finding the entrance-way, customers were flooding out and the door did not close by itself every time someone left, the door stayed open while we waited to be seated, so kindly I kept closing the door to keep the cold air from coming in. We arrived around 8:15p and felt like all the employees were pushing us out promptly at 10p, which is closing time. The only employee that did not seem rushed was our server. I am not sure why y’all close so early on a Saturday but if you close at 10p it should be a soft close, not all the kitchen and staff ready to go, a hard close, changes the whole experience and did not set well with me. I will not be coming back to this location as it was too pricey all in all for the ambiance, this restaurant in my opinion could only work in this city because there isn’t much competition to choose from. You are quickly greeted at the host stand. It’s right by the door, convenient to help you find a table. We sat down at a four top and a lovely blonde, waitstaff young lady came over to help us. She was very attentive and very helpful, and we were really really fortunate to have such a great person helping us. I ordered vegetable tempura, which were on point, warm, crispy cooked and everything that we had was delicious, and hot. Our waitstaff brought us whatever we needed right away.
