We returned again Saturday afternoon for more beer and more food. We enjoyed an excellent Sunday roast, beautifully presented and utterly delicious. Lots of extra touches, such as lovely napkins, cutlery shining clean and this added to an exceptional culinary experience. Added to this, staff were lovely … service with a smile, and they went out of their way to provide a gluten free Yorkshire pudding which was made by chef, and was delicious. We were met by a pleasant young man who showed us to our table. The food was really well cooked and flavoursome, and the yorkshire puddings were really tasty, light and fluffy. We had deserts and coffee, all of which were of a good standard. The background music was an ideal volume, not like in some venues where you can't hear yourself speak. Service was good throughout and the two young women there were friendly and obliging. We ordered drinks and sat outside for a short while until the restaurant opened at 5:30. We went in at 5:30 and already the room was filling up. The service was fantastic, the staff were fantastic and the food was fantastic. My husband had the fish and sweetcorn soup to start with, then the fish Thai curry. I had the rib eye steak. The food was outstanding, served hot on hot dishes. The staff were attentive without being overbearing. Would highly recommend and would visit again next time we come over to Hunstanton (it's a long way from Stockport!)

The platter itself was fantastic – fresh cod bites, scampi, calamari and another bit of seafood I unfortunately can’t recall, all served with lemon wedges. The cod bites in particular were a standout: freshly battered, cooked right there and then, and miles better than anything I’ve had in a long time. My partner ordered the cod & prawn fishcake with chips and gravy (£13.50), and we also couldn’t resist adding a battered sausage, some scampi, a beer and a J20. Altogether, the bill came to around £49 – and for the quality, portion sizes and service, it felt more than fair. Now, I have to mention the chips. I never finish my chips – ever. But these? Crispy, golden, and delicious even without sauce. It’s been ages since I’ve had chips this good, and I genuinely enjoyed every last one. Only comment would make it the sausage wished it was a jumbo battered sausage and only one of my calamari ring from seafood platter was just slightly over well-done. Spoke to the guy behind the bar who was helpful and polite who then went to fetch who im assuming was the manager, "same guy who was sat in there by himself shouting down the phone at someone about a refund when we first arrived" told him how unsatisfied we both was and the food was inedible and all he responded was "oh sorry about that", no offer of a full or even part refund so we just left. This place has gone downhill and definitely will not be returning, dont waste your time or money the food is awful had better pizza's from iceland.

I also used the toilets and they were immaculate. First time I see restaurant toilets so clean, 5-stars for that too! Last thing - prices were spot on. I am quite stingy when it comes to value for money and you get the best of it here. Location is quite easy to find. Will definitely be returning when in Hunstanton again!

Despite it was half an hour to the staff were happy to serve us food. We ordered chicken burder and southern fried chicken strips. The chicken was a bit dried but both melas were really nice! The menu offers some breakfast, grilled food, salad bowls, fish ishes, burgers, jacked potatoes, hot sandwiches and cold sandwiches. There is also children's menu, desserts, ice creams, Belgian waffles, hot soup, cottage/fish pie. Cold and hot drinks, milkshakes too. The staff was very friendly and accommodating , the food was served very promptly. The place is spacious, clean and offers you beautiful views over the sea and sunsets.

After some time a different wait staff member was sent to clean the dirty plates away. We could hear them moaning to themselves about clearing the plates from where we sitting. I would avoid this establishment and go somewhere where you are met with a warm welcome. Where the staff know the menu and know how to treat customers spending their hard earned cash.

Our waiter was super friendly and went above and beyond. Drinks came quickly and the non alcoholic cocktail was delicious. Food can and it was outstanding! The only slight complaint she had, is she struggled with the crayfish shell as she only had a knife and fork to attempt to crack it. We also had a lemon tart and the caramelised white chocolate, both of these were beautifully presented and delicious. I really liked that the tart had a crispy top, I haven’t seen this in another restaurant before, but it was lovely. And I was so happy to have a lemon tart that actually tasted of lemon! We visited mid-week at lunchtime and ordered the king prawns and the pork t-bone both of which were incredible. I have to say these were the best chips specifically from a fish and chip shop I’ve ever had and I stand by it. Fish was great too with a great crunchy batter. The thing I loved the most was being able to add salt and vinegar myself. The curry sauce was also very good as they are usually too salty but this one was just how I like it, wish the portion was bigger. And fish and chips always tastes better with a view. Make sure to get ice cream and donuts next door after.

Big portion of chips, cod and curry for under £9 and the quality was just amazing ! So tasty and fresh it was unbelievable! I wanted to get seconds but was told to try the other more popular and known chippy by the big green and i did , it wasn’t as good as regs to be honest . If i returned to hunstanton , id go here for fish and chips . Good covid measures also . Cant complain at all ! Good quality chippy , Thanks 🙏🏼I recommend this place 100 percent .

We had our 4 year old Labrador with us who loves attention, he was absolutely spoilt, the staff especially the ladies who served breakfast were so friendly and really made this a great stay. Breakfast was delicious continental consists of cereal, toast, croissant and yogurt and fruit. And the cooked breakfast (which depending on how busy the hotel is is either made to order or buffet style) had the best sausages and eggs. The superior room was big and comfy as was the bed! Good WiFi connection throughout. The beach is 5 minutes walk away and dog friendly. Will absolutely be coming back again
