My daughter and myself chose off the specials menu. We had pasta with strips of sirloin steak in a creamy dolcelatte sauce. We also ordered garlic bread and a tomato, onion and basil salad. We love Thai food but are always nervous about coming somewhere new. However, this place did not disappoint. Charming service at just the right pace. Spoke to a local who comes regularly and said they've never had a bad meal there. I had the Penang vegetable curry and coconut icecream, my husband had duck green curry and banana fritters both were delicious. We parked in the free car park nearby as the parking ourside the restaurant is limited. It gets fully booked at weekends so I advise you to book early. We definitely back next time we're in the area.

We were genuinely impressed by the staff at the hotel and pub. They were exceptionally attentive without being even remotely annoying. The service was prompt and efficient, without being intrusive. We took the train from Bow Brickhill arriving at mid-day. A word of warning - it's best to book as the Tea Room is quite small. I had a bacon butty (crispy too) and my partner an egg mayonaise salad. Both were very good and tasty. Then it was lemon drizzle cake and salted chocolate sponge. Big portions and scrummy. The price was reasonable too. Staff were very friendly. Well worth a visit if you have a spare couple of hours and do book if you can, but they can do take-aways and accomodate you outside if you have not booked. Watch the opening hours too. I almost forgot - there is a small museum too with artifacts from the line and its history and welcoming staff who have knowledge of the line. If you are interested in railways take a look!.
