The food had such good flavor, 2 of the dishes had some short comings but the manager helped fix things. Our drinks were solid as well. The manager was very helpful and is definitely the reason we would come back when we are in the area again. They also sent over a free dessert to help celebrate our engagement. It was very sweet of them. They have an area for you to enjoy music and other rooms in case you want a quiet night.

First of all I want to confirm for those that have mobility issues, there is a separate entrance on the side street to the left of the main entrance that is ground level and you can just walk in a very short hallway turn right past the kitchen and right into the restaurant. There is one, maybe two handicap parking spaces available just outside the door, but there are other parking spaces available on that same side street. Now, the food at Loula's was very clean and delicious. I had two eggs with sausage and hash browns and my friend had two eggs with home fries and tea. We didn't want to order too much because of the boat tour and the lack of being able to keep leftovers fresh so to speak. Our server even though young was polite, friendly and professional. The food came out relatively quickly and as I said was clean and delicious. I am not sure if you get what I mean by saying the food was clean. Well, there wasn't any aftertaste or anything like that and it was not greasy by any stretch of the imagination. Just nice clean, fresh food. If I lived nearby, I would definitely visit Loula's on a regular basis. The food was alright. We tried the tofu rolls and that was awesome. However the pad thai we ordered came out and it was a VERY small portion for $20. We had the Snow Leopard and Hot Blonde sushi rolls and the Seafood Yakisoba. The Snow Leopard was buttery and full flavored while the Hot Blonde was crisp and refreshing. For a starter we got the Shumai, a double spicy pork dumpling. All of it was so good I’m convinced it’s 100% homemade. We also think they might make their own wasabi, which definitely has a kick but is so delicious! A lot of new and interesting flavors that I haven’t experienced ever if not in a long time at any Asian-food place, including their “naan” bread with a Japanese 7 Spice seasoning that was great. The staff was lovely and professional. The environment was definitely classic lodge. There's indoor dining with large windows that over look the lake. The large fire places make for a warm dark ambiance. There's valet parking available or you can park across the street and walk over. We came for drinks one day and sat out on the patio overlooking the water. The gas fire pits helped to cut down some of the lake wind chill (we visited in May). We thought it was a cute place so we made dinner reservations. The food was some of the best we've had in the area. We enjoyed the elk meatballs and bone marrow for appetizers. The elk meatballs were delicious and paired well with the huckleberry sauce. (Definitely a heavy pour on the sauce but no ones complaining). And the bone marrow was served with locally made bread. Yum. For dinner we had the Chilean sea bass on a bed of summer squash risotto and lemon seasoned broccolini and the elk loin with parsnip and blackberries/huckleberries, fingerling potatoes and fried mushrooms. We couldn't recommend either of these dishes any more. Both were phenomenal. They blended well both in flavor and in texture. The portions were appropriate. For dessert we had the huckleberry-blueberry pie and this pandan creme brulee that were both out of this world. The pie has a beautiful flakey crust and the combination of blueberries and huckleberries was such a nice balance. It almost cut down on some of that overly sweet taste that some pies have. The new take on the creme brulee was mouth watering. It came with a key lime mouse that was dense and subtle. The toasted coconut flakes added a texture and sweetness that I didn't expect to love as much as I did. I almost had to be rolled out of the restaurant as I finished everything. Go. Eat the all the food. It's absolutely worth it. Our bill came out to $250 which I feel is entirely reasonable. That was with 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 2 desserts and a total of 5 alcoholic beverages.

This is part of the Boat Club Restaurant in the Lodge hotel. There is only valet parking here, apparently, so be prepared to tip. The employees were very friendly and nice, until the end of the night then the waitress got super pushy and did not treat us right anymore, didn't even ask us if we wanted more drinks. My kids enjoyed their food, but the French onion soup I got was the worst I have ever had in a restaurant. Was it whole wheat bread? The drink I ordered was good, even had a fresh flower in it. The view is great and the bar itself was nice and relaxing. The music wasn't too loud. The trash was literally overflowing onto the ground, however, and the long white tiles were extremely slippery and dangerous when it started raining. Whoever chose those for an outside venue clearly wasn't thinking fully. Someone is going to seriously hurt themselves there if you don't change it. Overall, it was a nice experience because of the holiday atmosphere, when I ignored the negatives. The kid that was helping out at the bar was really sweet and is why this isn't a 3 star. He did what he could and was very polite ! :) I would like to come back, since we are locals, and give it another try when it isn't a major holiday.

We got a summer pale ale from Jeremiah Johnson and a driftboat. Hit the spot after a nice long hike. The pizzas looked amazing but we're a bit disappointing. This is subjective of course but for us it was very doughy and very thick. One of the pizzas we ordered came out undercooked (Mackenzie River Pizza). We didn't order any of the salads but those looked amazing and if I were to dare come back, would probably stick to that and some beer.

If she was our server I would’ve left. My mom compliments them and she just nods at us. No language barrier by the way. Anyways, I’m 30 weeks pregnant and spent two entire days in and out of the hospital completely suffering because he fed me gluten. Whether he did it on purpose or carelessly forgot to put “GLUTEN FREE” on my order; I suffered severely. We thought I had listeria, we checked for preterm labor, a TON of lab work trying to figure out why I’m in severe pain to the point I cannot walk. I had to call out of work, I couldn’t take care of my daughter, I literally spent two days in a HOSPITAL because of what you guys did. Needless to say-I will never be returning.

Upon arrival (an hour after check in time) they put us in a double queen room instead with no explanation to why and we only found out after entering the room. We questioned them on it and they told us “maintenance issue”. Next, operating the shower was so confusing and challenging. They had small instructions but I’m quite surprised a shower could be so confusing. There also was no fan in the bathroom and no trash can. Small but annoying things especially when you pay over $800 for 1 night! The bed was extremely uncomfortable and because my husband is heavier I kept rolling down to his side. We both had the worst night of sleep ever. To top everything off the night we arrived we had appetizers and drinks at the restaurant. There were only two other tables occupied and almost every single staff member but 1 was almost constantly on their phones and not attentive at all. If I ran the hotel I would fire everyone there as it felt like we were almost an inconvenience. I never write reviews but after spending so much money and feeling so disappointed on our anniversary outing I could help warning others before spending their time here. I wish I had spent less at a different hotel as I easily could have and not have dealt with this.

He has traveled 19 states with work and has been a member for many years. He is also a veteran .We were told our charge with his military discount would be less than the $384 that they billed us. Unfortunately because he has a bad back we had to stop short of our destination so called to cancel and was told we could not get a refund. We would of paid a cancellation fee but not the full $384. We are seniors and was so disappointed and very sad that Best Western could not work with us. This is just pure greed, and it makes me sick that they made double the money when they turned around and sold our room to someone else. Exterior needs cleaning and paint. Entrance door needs marking. Toilet in room recently replaced was difficult to flush, too low and small (like a daycare size, child's toilet.) The shuttle service was nice to use. They will drop off and pick up down town Whitefish and provide airport transport. Diane and Karen at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Never needed to use it and left for the next guest. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Kid friendly hotel. On our return to Whitefish, Martie delivered once again on the promise of having their shuttle waiting at Kalispell when we dropped off our rental car. Fantastic service in all aspects, and the Hampton Inn itself was spotless and very well cared for.
