Cafe Diva is a must if you enjoy fine food and wine. My husband and I went on "Date Night" and had a beautiful evening.
Our waiter was very warm and welcoming. He explained the menu and answered all questions.
The sommelier was very knowledgeable and approachable about questions regarding the differences between varietals of wines.
The chef is brilliant 👏. I chose the Duck Confit as an appetizer... and let's just say, I experienced Christmas in every bite! Our entire dinning adventure was truly spectacular!
I will definitely return and recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Steamboat Springs.

Had a tremendous dinner at Cafe Diva. Started off with Jeffrey's acknowledgment of our Anniversary celebration and seating us at a great table. In Jeff we trust. Our sommelier really wowed us with knowledge and sensibility. He treated each bottle in his selection with love and he seemed like he was truly sharing one of his own bottles at home. Definitely someone I'd have fun sharing a drink with. Highlight was the creme brule with the Hungarian tokaji for the change of flavor paired well with the dessert. This was a splurge date night and it definitely did not disappoint. We ordered 3 starters and split the halibut market catch. Definitely get the reuben dumplings because it just went really well with the pickled cabbage and crunch of the wrapper. Halibut was also really nicely seared and had some saffron with the rice and Leche de tigre on the bottom soaking up the acidic goodness. What made my day was that Payton gave me an extra serving of warmed olives for dessert (I'm not a dessert guy and the olives are so good). We'll definitely be back when we're in town again.

Came here for dinner in the offseason and that was the best time to go. We were quickly seated. The dinner was amazing. Some top notch food. I would say this is probably my favorite restaurant to eat at while I’m in Steamboat and I always try to at least come once. The food is amazing, the staff are super friendly, and the ambiance is wonderful. The main dining area is nice and where I prefer to be seated. They also use the restaurant next door for additional seating. The food here is super good. There isn’t a thing I’ve gotten, that I didn’t love.
Overall, this is a must go to place if you visit steamboat.

We love Laundry. This place is so good. We’ve been twice. Their happy hour menu is so great.
Food we loved: fried chicken, salad, pimento cheese dip
Food we liked: shoestring fries, brisket potatoes
Service: We were sat in a place that was so convenient for our family.
Everyone was incredibly helpful and attentive. Our waters were always filled and extra plates cleared.
We had our toddler with us and he was made to feel welcome. No sour feelings of having a young child in their restaurant.
Every time we are in Steamboat we will make a point of coming back to Laundry.

The bison carpaccio was amazing, so amazing we ordered two servings and my grade schooler wanted to go back for more the next day. The pickle jar is good as a stand alone app during happy hour but avoid ordering if also doing dinner as the same pickled veg is served with some/most entrees. The smoked ribeye was flavorful thanks to the chimchurri but was a bit tough and I wouldn’t order it again. The evening’s special was a tomato and watermelon salad which was flavorful and well presented. I’d go back in the future, for their happy hour small plates and also the carpaccio. The happy hour menu was much more kid friendly than the dinner menu as well. Also, a shout out to Tom and Kelly for their great service.

We had a fantastic experience at Laundry’s Kitchen. The atmosphere was casual and welcoming. Perfect for a casual lunch. The New England soup and Mahi Mahi were my favorite. Our server, Alexa was attentive and super friendly, making sure we had everything we needed.

Amazing dining experience! We did the chefs choice 5 course meal and were not disappointed. Creative menu and dishes with a wonderful combination of flavors. The wait staff was prompt and attentive. The portions, especially considering it is a 5 course meal, were perfect for two to split. All around great experience well worth the money. Total price was about $300 including tip and two alcoholic drinks.
I would highly recommend the chefs choice to anyone looking for an unforgettable and fun dining experience.

Every town needs a bookstore and this is certainly a gem in downtown Steamboat springs. Selling both new and used books and offering coffee, excellent quiche and pastry, including an amazing Berry scone, you can go upstairs, get comfortably situated at the bar or at a table and read for as long as you want.

This is one of my favorite Colorado bookstores. It can get a bit crowded at times but they make great use of their small space with a wide assortment of curated books. The bookseller recommendations are always 10/10 and if you’re lucky you’ll find a signed copy of a great book as authors stop by for readings periodically. I love a cute themed coffee shop, but I especially love it when the food, and drinks are so high quality and delicious!!! This place rocks. This place is very cute, tucked away off Steamboats Main Street in a shopping center. We stopped here for coffee before our flight. The shop is very small with limited seating and it was packed while we were there. We found seats easily. The service was nice, the girl who took our order was super kind and helpful.
The food offerings are some baked goods, a limited number of breakfast burritos, and bagels. All kinds of coffee and tea as well (obviously). The coffee was pretty good, the bagel could benefit from seasoning but served its purpose.
Love the skeleton branding, it was very quaint and cute.

Stopped in for an afternoon pick-me-up at Big Iron Coffee. Baristas were friendly and welcoming. I ordered my usual latte which was delicious, hot and decorated with a foamy heart on top! So great to see the support of local art for sale displayed on the walls. Plenty of seating inside on a cold day like today with some seating out in the courtyard as well for warmer days I’m sure. The small seating areas were cozy although chairs are well worn. As we weren’t hungry, we didn’t order any of the lovely pastries. What a wonderful place to have early morning breakfast. We found this as we strolled the streets on our first day here.
We got a warm greeting and lucky to get a booth by the window. We decided to eat inside as weather was a little chill in the outdoor seating.
Katie, our server was friendly, professional and great for food suggestions. Always a smile and key in making us comfortable. Food came out quick. I had the Carnitas Hash without the green chile. Health reasons. The dish came with hash potatoes, perfectly cooked/seasoned carnitas, two eggs staring at me and two tortillas. VERY YUM RATED!
My wife had Sweet Potato Hash. It included kale, onion, seasoning with two eggs and rustic sour dough. Fabulous, is what she said.
The atmosphere and decor is nice. Cozy inside.

Had this place on our family itinerary when in town and we almost skipped it but so happy we stopped. I had the carnitas hash and it was perfection. The potatoes were hot and crisp along with the carnitas they also had a perfect crisp to them and were not dry. The tortillas were soft but toasted. I also had the green chili cheese grits were a dragon I'll be chasing, they were soo good. Even my husband who hates grits said they were great. The pancakes were super fluffy and cooked perfectly. The chicken and waffles was also delicious; crisp fluffy waffle and crispy juicy chicken. We got a cinnamon roll to go and had it after a long hike which was a nice treat. They are huge and liked the sunflower seeds mixed in. Totally worth the stop if you are in town!

What a cute Lil spot, i wish we had time to try some of the other goods here. The staff was kind and helpful, until i returned a croissant for being a little overcooked. They told me I was wrong, but did replace it with a slightly less burnt croissant, but still, kind of rude about it. The parts that weren't burnt, were buttery, balanced and not too sweet, so I enjoyed that. The delicate Mortadella and cheddar flavors were both kind of lost with the burnt flavor, but the textures persisted.

This is a cute little bakery on the corner of small town Steamboat Springs with a gorgeous outside view of the creek. If you sit outside you can see and hear the water running below you. The sandwiches are delicious, but you have to enjoy an uneven ratio of bread to fixings (not surprising since the point of a bakery is its bread!). The cookies are huge and yummy, plus their cinnamon rolls are sweet and sticky. I do recommend ordering the rolls earlier in the day because by lunchtime the outer swirl is a bit crusty for my personal taste. The new owners of Powder Day Donuts are so sweet, they have completely expanded their menu to offer so many delicious choices to go away beyond donuts. But let's start there, the donuts are incredible they are so soft and fluffy, baked fresh every day, and they really do make sure they have a lot of volume so you can go in there a little later in the morning and still get a whole dozen variety of donuts! The homemade churros are out of this world, I mean the most incredible churros you've ever had, they are gigantic and filled with the most amazing dulce de Leche caramel. I can't say enough good things about this place so just go try it for yourself. Emerald Cafe has great atmosphere and great food. Everything is organic. I had the avocado toast, which was the best I ever had; and, the lemon poppy seed muffin melted in my mouth. There is a dead fish smell as you walk the long walk to the shared restroom with the restaurant next door. The restroom has been neglected….one toilet is almost overflowing with yuck, another stall has the plastic TP cover on the floor. Lots of TP/paper pieces on the floor. NO paper towels.
The dead fish smell also is in the coffee shop, if you are staying to drink your drink. The shop is also VERY warm…find the AC duct and sit in front of that.
