I chose Y.F as it was recommended by others. I was greated by friendly yet busy staff. I was served by a lovely and beautiful Ukranian lady named Alona. We had a lovely chat, she made time for me even though she was so busy. She gave me advice on the menu as I was unsure and she kept checking on me, as did some of her colleagues. The meal was perfect, right size for me as I didn't want a large meal. The price was also very reasonable. The fish was cooked to perfection, mushy peas not too runny and the chips were proper. I ordered the £15.75 cod special that came with a large piece of cod fish, chips, a side, a slice of bread with butter and a cup of tea or coffee. For the side I opted for the mushy peas which is typically not found on menus in the U.S. I am not a fried food person and definitely prefer my fish raw as sashimi or cooked any other way than deep fried. However, I enjoyed this succulent piece of cod fish and even ate some of its batter which I usually don’t do. We were made very welcome. Drinks order was taken very quickly and drinks arrived within a few minutes. Food order was taken and within 15 minutes our food was served. The portions were a great size, piping hot and the dishes were delicious. The waiter came over a couple of times to check that everything was fine with our food. We were well looked after by the staff and made to feel very welcome. On our departure we were offered a Baileys Irish Cream as a thank you for our custom. Faeces all over the toilet, the floors were disgusting including the one in the restaurant. You couldn't wash your hands because the tap wasn't working and it smelled so bad that if I hadn't nearly paid £50 for our tea, I'd have left!! I asked for the manager/supervisor (there wasnt one available) as we were leaving to tell them about the toilets. He apologised. This could be such a lovely place, but sadly it isn't somewhere we would be visiting again.

What an amazing find. It was only just up the road from the hotel so very handy. The staff were lovely and friendly and we were shown to our table even though we hadn't booked. We really like Chinese food and the menu had lots of choice. For starters we chose chicken lettuce parcels and fillet steak rolls in black bean sauce. We agreed to share the starters and it was difficult to decide which was best as they were both delicious. For our main course we chose fried beef in Cantonese sauce and chicken with pineapple plus a portion of rice which was plenty for two. Both dishes were plentiful and really tasty. The service was just right for us with a short break between courses. We both had drinks and the cost for the food and drinks was just over £50, an absolute bargain for the quality and generous portions. We will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in Blackpool.

The venue is a little quirky, but it is a lovely building being put to good use. The menu was limited to a selection of starters and pizza on our visit. The mushroom starters we outstanding, and the garlic bread was very tasty if large. Our group sampled several different pizzas. The food was very fresh, and arrived at the table piping hot. No raw ones in our portions. Peas tasted a bit earthy to me but I’m not the biggest fan of mushy peas. Curry sauce was good. Had a bit of a kick to it. The tea cake was fresh. The batter on the fish also good. Crispy and with a nice crunch. Unfortunately the fish, for us, let the meal down. Taste and texture were a little bit off. It didn’t have that wow factor. The fish looked the part but the taste didn’t match the looks unfortunately. The portions were good. Price reasonable and competitive. But in all honesty we have had better fish. Service is weirdly slow considering it's a team of three. Nice salad - it's great to have cabbage as not many Blackpool shops do. Good homemade sauces. Again, this is unique in Blackpool. The Donner meat was the usual stuff that you get up here and whilst the shish was beautifully tender it was tasteless. In addition to the team of three there's a lady who takes your order (cash only) and gives you your number. As others have said there's people outside in cars waiting. One guy in a 4x4 had his engine running from my arrival to leaving (over 20 minutes) and if I was a neighbour I'd be livid.

We ordered a keema bhuna, chips, 2 portions of onion bhajis, 4 chapattis. As soon as I placed the bag on my counter I knew it was gonna be a rough ride, the bag its self was covered in oil. The curry its self tasted of nothing, absolutely nothing, no spice, no flavour, im actually impressed how they managed to get produce and meat to taste of nothing, the chips where nothing special, soggy frozen chips, the chapatti was too thick, small and very chewy not what a chapatti should be at all, it gets worse, the oil squirted down my chin when I took a bite of the onion bhajis and I mean actually inedible. There wasn't even a pleasant taste to make up for the heart attack worthy amount of oil in this little ball, the sauce pots couldn't possibly get any smaller and even then they arnt full, im angry and disappointed. Coming from a culture thats so rich in spices and the most sensational flavour profiles this 'chef' should be ashamed of himself to send this food out! General rule of thumb if you wouldn't serve it to your mum dont serve it to anyone else! Will not be returning. Please dont waste your money or your time going here, pictures as proof.

But I'm all for the food. We booked during the eat out scheme, recieved a phone call a few days before asking for a deposit of £10 per person. It was booked for 8 of us. Slightly steep when I had a small child & a baby. After finding a babysitter, they changed it to £5pp. VERY money orientated. The cokes are served out of a bottle, which are always flat. The pickle tray was very disappointing, we ordered 2 between 6 of us. Both trays weren't even half full. We had to ask them to refill when we all only had a poppadom each. Onion bhajis are without a doubt the best I've ever had, very crispy. The duck starter was very nice too. The main course never fails, always tasty. I absolutely love the curries from here. Definitely one of best on the coast. Service can be slow but was pretty good on this occasion. However, some dried rice did fall from supposedly clean plates. It's abit pricy for what it is. Without the discount it worked out £24 each. We all only had 1 drink each, not everyone had a starter, bread, we was sharing rice etc. It's bit of a shame because the food overall is absolutely lovely. Mixed reviews but can verify it was delicious. The special rice was lacking slightly in meat, however was still tasty. Not a kebab man so can’t say what they’re like, but the burgers are always excellent, juicy, cooked to perfection and reasonably priced. They also allow you to add extras on top if required. My other favourite is the garlic bread with cheese, it has to be the nicest garlic bread I’ve had since I can remember. The food is cooked fresh and I always try to tip because I appreciate the staff’s willingness to cook things as I like them. I would provide photos but the foods normally gone before I remember to get my phone out. My only issue is that it’s cash only on collection and sometimes I want to use my card. Not coming from the area your alway unsure on where to get takeaways from . There was 12 different orders all different things . The lady on the phone made it so easy to put the order in went over everything to make sure it was right. Told us 30 min the delivery driver was calling us 28min later . The food omg was gorgeous a real real treat when ever we go to Blackpool theres only one place ill eat . Recently the prices went up (understandable) but quality of food and service has fallen dramatically.
