All delicious, we had chicken chow mein, nasi goreng, stir fried veg & the portions are v large. Sunlik lager was good and the house white was lovely, we'd definitely return, highly recommend. The only thing I would say, after eating at other Chinese restaurants in Blackpool is that the decor was a little bland. The toilets were exceptionally clean and modern.

We hadn't booked and it was after 10, but they were able to accommodate us. We were shown to our table by a really nice waiter, who had a warm smile, and was very friendly. I ordered our drinks at the bar and was served right away. We ordered our food and when it came we weren't disappointed. It all came out hot, very pleasing to the eye and the portions were plentiful, not going to lie but the prawn toast was amazing. I've not seen them that size.....ever and they were amazing! We couldn't find fault with anything, and we all tried our hardest to leave clean plates, but we were defeated, and believe me it wasn't through lack of trying 😂😂😂. What an amazing find. It was only just up the road from the hotel so very handy. The staff were lovely and friendly and we were shown to our table even though we hadn't booked. We really like Chinese food and the menu had lots of choice. For starters we chose chicken lettuce parcels and fillet steak rolls in black bean sauce. We agreed to share the starters and it was difficult to decide which was best as they were both delicious. For our main course we chose fried beef in Cantonese sauce and chicken with pineapple plus a portion of rice which was plenty for two. Both dishes were plentiful and really tasty. The service was just right for us with a short break between courses. We both had drinks and the cost for the food and drinks was just over £50, an absolute bargain for the quality and generous portions. We will definitely be visiting again the next time we are in Blackpool.

We live locally and love this buffet, but last night we left feeling like we won't come back. Food was ok, lots of empty trays though, and when you've paid 20 quid each, you would expect the dishes you like to actually be available. The dessert section was almost non existent, we used to love the whippy style ice cream machine and all the little desserts, but now its cheap non tasting box ice cream or dried up looking swiss roll ( lot of the cake plates empty) . Plus the ice cream water bucket where they kept the self service scoops was so dirty that it put us off eating the ice cream. Dont advertise puddings if you don't actually have a pudding selection! We felt the quality of the meat had gone downhill in a lot of the dishes also. Such a shame as this used to be a gem of a place and a regular visit for us, but sadly we won't be back.

The Paramount was one of my favourite places, the crème de la crème of Chinese in Blackpool and I know Its been a while but surely things didn't have to change this much. Tonight we ordered the worst Chinese meal of our lives and to say that not even I could eat it is testimony of how shocking it was. £33.00 in the bin and 3 still hungry people. So for starters we had the ribs (not bad you get 3 ribs in a portion 5/10 because they were a bit cremated but that's being picky ) The chicken lettuce wrap, Im not sure how to describe this (1/10) resembled Dog food, tasted the same served with Romaine Lettuce (a first on me) portion size miniscule around 1 spoon each which didn't matter in the end because it went in the bin. I shouldn't really complain about the portion size because as the lady who answered the phone rightly pointed out starters are suppose to be small. Next the chilly chicken wings, not bad (7/10) but your still gunna need the mains because remember starters are suppose to be small. Chicken and cashew nuts (1/10) tasted like dog meat, inedible landed in the bin. Not sure what happened to the chicken to make it taste so bad and chewy. Chicken and tomato, revolting (1/10) no taste and a crispy shredded beef dish which I will give a 3/10 because we managed to eat some. All in all this was a really shocking experience, please don't think we didn't call up and give you the opportunity to explain because we did. We were told that you don't charge the VAT to your customers and that next time we order the dish you will sort it out. The problem is, if this hasn't put us off Chinese food for life it is incredibly doubtful we will ever order from the Paramount again.

I love that sauce is strong tasting & the fact they put sugar snap peas in. The chef cuts the carrots into stars too which is also another personal favourite. Ha. There is literally so many of my favourite dishes here, the fillet steak in Cantonese sauce is heaven. The fillet will melt in your mouth & the sauce is equally delicious. I've also tried the duck, crispy chilli beef, chilli chips & egg fried rice. Everything is always so tasty & consistent. Gutted I don't have photos to back me up. Can't wait to be back!

Went to dine in with a group of 5. The place was immaculate. We got seated as soon as we arrived. The lady taking the order was so lovely. We were able to see our food be cooked and Our food was served within 10 minutes. Between us all we had a beef curry, a chicken curry, chicken fried rice, a chicken omelette, chips and rice. The portion sizes were massive. And all of the food was absolutely delicious! Clean plates all round. All the shops seem to be shut on a Tuesday which was rather strange, its like Tuesday is a Sunday here so regretfully I had limited options. Regardless, the Salt and Pepper Chicken here is not authentic but still nice as they have used chip shop batter instead of the usual batter, which indeed made it really crispy and tasty. Its on the tad too salty side so I can’t give it top marks but it was certainly tasty. Their BBQ pork fried rice on the other hand… was one of the most underwhelming, tasteless ones I’ve ever had! Its like there was zero spice, no soy sauce only dark soy sauce to make the colour, egg was tasteless, as if they reduced the concentration of the yolk mixed in during preparation, pork was only coloured red and not marinated. Appalling performance for a traditional Chinese dish! Their Salt and Pepper chicken was the only reason this place didn’t receive a one star! I’d only advise coming here if you want to try a unique chip shop battered salt and pepper chicken which is unheard of in London and Hong Kong!

It did take a long time to be prepared and cooked which was a dissapointment to be honest . That being said the crispy shredded beef wad some of the best I've ever tasted , moist in fresh batter . So i continued to wait to then receive a text at 11pm to say the restaurant had now CANCELLED my order. After 3 hours of waiting and been told they can not cancel online orders i was not very happy with this. The communication and service from this restaurant is terrible and they clearly lack any skills for planning or preparation. I will be staying far far away from this place.

I got beef curry. First I found a hair in my food but I just took that out (won't kill me right! Normally I check reviews and hygiene rating but this time I didn't , major mistake on my part . Should have known something was wrong when I walked in the door , it was so dark I thought they were shut . Best Chinese takeaway I've ever had! Place may look a little old on the outside, but its perfectly clean. Portion sizes are great, I ordered for two but had enough for four. Quality food you can tell its all fresh made from scratch on site rather then processed/supermarket stuff like some places. Prawn Toast might as well be renamed Prawn Slab as they were thick with topping. Great value for money, very reasonable. Will be recommending to everyone.
