This is one of the coolest bizarre sandstone formations in the area. It resembles a set of towers and represents the remnants of hard conglomeratic sandstone from the Mesozoic period that survived millions of years of erosion. The area has a nice parking place and is easy to reach by road.
Mo Hin Khao, often called the “Stonehenge of Thailand,” is a fascinating and unique natural attraction. The massive rock formations scattered across the landscape are both mysterious and beautiful, especially during sunrise or sunset when the light casts dramatic shadows over the stones. It’s a dream location for photography lovers and those who enjoy unusual geological sites. What’s even better — access and parking are completely free, which is rare for such an impressive attraction. There are a few walking trails around the site, and some spots offer great panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the facilities are quite basic — there are limited signs, minimal shade, and not much in terms of food or drink options nearby. A bit more infrastructure could make the experience even better. Still, Mo Hin Khao is absolutely worth a visit. Peaceful, unique, and completely free — a perfect stop for a day of nature and exploration.
Moh Hin Khao is one of the main attractions in Chaiyaphum province. Moh Hin Khao itself refers to the biggest and the most impressive stone group - of three stone groups, formed by nature, which are at the area - or the whole area. Moh Hin Khao is part of Phu Lan Kha national park network. For the sake of simplicity I will call Moh Hin Khao the whole area, whose main places to visit are those three stone groups, two viev points, two camping areas and a nature trail. Moh Hin Khao has been compared to Stonehenge in UK. I cannot say anything about this because I haven't visited Stonehenge, but after seen Moh Hin Khao stone group I don't need any such analogs, either, because Moh Hin Khao as itself is a spectacular presentation of the might of the nature. Even though it isn't a high season, Moh Hin Khao seems to be a popular place. It was Saturday morning when we visited there, and people where coming and going, and there were numerous tents at the camping area. At the high season - whenever it is.. - there are street restaurants and shops at the area; now they were almost all closed. The entrance to the stone groups is free but if you wanna go to the camping areas & view points, you have pay a symbolic entrance fee - on July 2024 it was 20 baht for a Thai person, 100 baht for a farang and other tourists, 20 baht for the motorbike (the fee for the car or camping I don't know but it cannot be much, either). Moh Hin Khao is an interesting place, and the whole area - not only the first stone group - is absolutely worth of visit.
Thailand's Stonehenge. Good place for a stopover to rest before continuing to reach the peak not far away. Awesome for some Instagram photos shot 📸 as the scenery looks like in medieval era. Clean fresh and cooling air as this province mainly involve agriculture.
The "Stonehenge of Thailand". Yet it appears to be completely off the tourist radar. There was nobody else there while we visited – on a public holiday, nonetheless! The site has a cluster of 4 freestanding limestone rocks that are quite tall and probably were created through erosion. The rocks are in a straight line, not circular like at the real Stonehenge 😊. Although it's a bit far from any town, it's definitely worth a visit, also for the nice views over the flat farmlands below. Free entrance
A truly amazing place. These stones look like they are growing from the ground.
The park is beautiful. Real Thailand. There is camping. Do not throw trash on the ground. Keep it clean and have some respect for yourself.
I walked around the area it was so beautiful and it’s not so far from the camping site about 1-2 km away from there. There are so many shapes of rock. It is so amazing to see such “andscape. I recommend to go there in the morning or late afternoon when the weather is not so hot. There are also some pavilions that you can take a rest and have a picnic there.

Broad, rocky cascade with variable seasonal flow, areas for swimming & a nearby parking lot.
Slide 1 of 8
This is a beautiful and clean creek with shallow water spots to wade in and let the kids play in. Watch out, the water is deep in some spots which is nice to swim but this is a reminder to not let small kids play alone. There are clean and free to use public toilets right next to the water. A little playground is near the parking area which, again, is fun for the kids. Many spots to rest and picnic are available. Everything is well maintained. I can very much recommend visiting this place! There is a tiny entrance fee for the national park it's located in, in the range of 1-2 € or $ per person. It's worth it.
Famous for its waterfall, which should properly be called a cascade as they are rather like steps. Still, good for some photos. Many people were swimming in the large pool under the cascades, so a good place to cool down on a hot day. Not a place to visit twice due to the government's racist entry pricing policy so that foreign tourists pay 200 Baht against the Thai 30 Baht. A Thai in a Maserati pays just 30 Baht.
The waterfall is located in the Tat Ton national park. After a short (~500 m) walk from the parking you get to the fall. You can sit on both shores, but have to cross the waterfall to sit on the other side. We were there early April and there were water but not much. It felt very safe and the water is refreshingly cold. The water is not deep, maybe 50cm at the deepest. There are a few shops selling snacks and drink to reasonable prices. A great way to spend afternoon when it is very hot.
Tat Ton Waterfall is a beautiful and refreshing destination, perfect for nature lovers and anyone looking to escape the city heat. The waterfall itself is wide and powerful, surrounded by lush forest, making it an ideal spot for relaxing, picnicking, or even a quick swim in the cool water. The natural scenery is absolutely lovely, and the paths around the park are easy to walk, even for families with kids. There are also clean restrooms, picnic areas, and food stalls nearby, which makes spending the whole day here very convenient. The park is generally well-kept and peaceful, especially on weekdays. 👉 However, I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the entrance fee for foreigners is 5 times higher than for Thai nationals. While I understand that tourist sites often charge different rates, such a large difference feels excessive and unfair. Despite the pricing issue, Tat Ton Waterfall is definitely worth a visit — a relaxing, scenic spot that showcases the natural beauty of Thailand.
Tat Ton Waterfall is part of Tat Ton National Park. Contrary to two not so nice recreational areas in Prachin Buri where I visited a month or two ago and which were in reality composed on the shores of the river built bamboo platforms which visitors could rent for their use, Tat Ton Waterfall is more natural area, even though there are good services there too. The waterfall and its surroundings, meaning the river shores, seem to be very popular - we visited there on the weekday afternoon, and there were quite much people, mostly near the waterfall - but many visitors had found more peaceful and idyllic place for their picnic by the river shores. Entrance fee to the waterfall - which is actually the fee to Tat Ton National Park - is for adults 40 baht (Thai people) or 200 baht (foreigners), and for children half of that (20/100 baht). Workers of the national park keep the waterfall area very clean and comfortable to visit, so the entrance fees are rather fair. The waterfall itself had its waters even though it's the hot season going in Thailand now - but actually at the rainy season Tat Ton Waterfall, I think, is at its best. To sum, Tat Ton Waterfall is a wonderful place to visit and take a half or whole day break in the fresh nature.
Yeah just come on a day that it is has not rained the few days before or you’ll get this natural colour. But 10/10 for peaceful jungle. Paid 110baht for two people. Would be a little bit more for normal price.
Nice Place to visit. 200 Baht entry for foreigners. Parking space, rooms, restaurants, toilets and shops. Shuttle service available for the 300 meters. Beautiful forest, animals and flowers. The waterfall is surely more impressive while monsume time but it's a romantic place when less people are there. The water is warm enough to use the swimming areas. So don't forget towels.
We loved that place , we came for an afternoon and we stayed to camp for few days. The main waterfall is very special, the water are clean and you can swim in the pool which is very rare in the waterfalls in Thailand to have actual swimming possiblity beyond dipping . The river that is not mentioned in the park information is extraordinary and filled with shaded lovely spots Very beautiful during all day long and mostly in the sunset hours The campground is not a big deal Entrance fee 200 THB Or 40 for Locals Camping fee 30 THB if you have your own tent ⛺

The entrance fee is 100 baht for adults, 50 baht for older children, including swimming. It's acceptable and not expensive. It's considered a better tourist attraction than a department store for people in the city.
