We chose a very quiet midweek day so that was perfect. It's nice to wander around and get the feel for the Temple etc. Some great history to see and information to read us useful.
Very nice Temple and holds the body inside a glass tomb of a famous monk in Isaan. The wooden structures within the Temple are amazing.
A must see if you are traveling from Cambodia to Ubon Ratchitani Thailand not far frm the border crossing a beautifully presented Temple and grounds decorated with amazing roosters everywhere from really huge to very small ones .. theres a famous Buddhist monk who is in an open casket for everyone to bless pray and respect apparently he has been lying there for over twenty years 🙏 there’s an amazing tree house there also that’s definitely worth looking at really stunning .. free entry for all tourists
A fantastic Wat undergoing upgrade. The Wat has many different things to see and do. From the ringing of bells to drumming the drums. Meditation and praying. A great place to understand the Buddhist religion. The craftsmanship is superb and very detailed. Everyone is very friendly and makes you feel welcome. A must see if your in the area.
Unbelievably lavish and impressive temple in the countryside. Huge enough to host hundreds of foreign guests and thousands of locals during an annual international folklore festival, this temple is on the same level as top tier tourist attractions anywhere in the world as far as beauty and culture.
This Buddhist temple consists of nice churchs, bhudha images, miniature of the famous stone of Pha (cliff) More E-daeng. The enormous Bhudhist shrine, lodging houses are buit and decorated with large teakwood. The highlight is Khmer built church where an incorruptible body of Lueang Pu Seong (Bhudhist monk) is rested and yet, earn so much belief respect from both Camdodian and Thai fellowship.
Interesting wat, Khmer style building. One of the very important monks here has been mummified and you can see his body in a glass coffin. This monk liked cockerels and kites hence all around the wat are cockerels of various sizes. There is an older wat which is being renovated this consists of a large number of massive tree trunks forming the main structure. These are called pan chat (1000 next life’s). This wat has adequate finances it seems as everything is made to high quality and maintained very nicely.
Very nice cambodia temple with big size chicken n kite.. Pay respect to 500yr old lp suang
