Charming small park across the street from the waterfront. I saw one bench, but more would be wonderful. Lots of traffic noise, but such a beautiful view of the harbor!

Nice promenade for short evening walk with great views, 10 euros and you can see the city from above 🙂

Magnificent castle built by Roger ll during the Norman reign.The exterior is magnificent, but inside there is only a poor collection of statues and photos. Also many exhibition rooms have been emptied. If you are in a hurry just taking a photo outside is enough.

I felt like we didn’t get our money’s worth during our tour of this castle. It was pretty empty and we didn’t get to see much. They did, however, have a pretty cool St. Nicholas exhibit! So I enjoyed that.

If you are under 25 years old, it's nearly worth it because you "just" pay 4,50€. Above 25 you pay 9€ and we definitly would not pay this amount. It's not possible to go on the Towers, you can only visit one half of the castle and it seems a lot bigger from outside. In this one half, there are just a few rooms to visit. The only really interesting thing were the basement rooms. We were here about 30 minutes and saw everything. We asked a guide if it's possible to see more of the castle but he just replied very unfriendly "dangerous". We are lucky, that we are under 25 and just paid 4,50€ for this.

Well this castle is simply just stone for 9 euro. Dont expect anything else. We have been to different cities and castles like Paris, Madrid, Lisbon and etc. Even the castle in Brighton is some interesting and cheaper than this nothing to see 9 euro castle. Just one staircase to see inside. No body will tell you you cant go up to the top and you cant refund. For this money in Bari you can get 3 top icecream.

Strong castle with a rich history. They play a very informative film near the beginning (that is available in 4 languages depending on the crowd) about how the castle developed. Inside there's also some art to be seen.

Nice castle, off season some of the areas were closed for renovation works. Entry fee is 3 euro for an adult.

The castle is in a very good renovation status and has elevators except the archeological part, thus making it mostly accessible. It serves as a museum of art with original stone parts of surrounding churches and cathedrals.

I had a truly wonderful experience visiting this amazing place. The architecture is stunning, and I appreciated the chance to see both the building's interior and exterior. The orchestra performance that day was such a highlight! I felt so lucky to be greeted by the friendly staff members at the booking counters, as their warm smiles really added to the joy of my visit. It’s heartwarming to see such kindness in welcoming guests.

Stunning building! We took the 30 min tour for €5/person, and it was well worth the cost. The tour guide gave the tour info in both Italian and English. The building suffered a horrible fire in the 1990s and was rebuilt, reopening in 2008, and it's just so beautiful. Highly recommend. Would love to see an opera here.

Even though we went to what is was supposed to be an opera for kids, the vast majority of the audience was adult and the show was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend the experience. The Labirynt in Crete by Petruzzelli theater has extremely well prepared shows with new technology incorporated gracefully into an otherwise classic story. The twist and refreshed take of the plot is also very creative. All in all 10/10.

I took a guided tour (takes 30 minutes, costs 7€ for adults and 2€ for students) and didn't regret any penny! It was the nicest experience in Bari and the staff was very nice! Recommended! Check the schedule before going there or ask in the tourist info point. The tickets are sold 30 minutes before the tour.

This city beach in Bari was fairly large and relatively clean, with plenty of space to lie down and relax. As expected, it was extremely crowded, mostly with locals, but that added to the atmosphere. Everyone had their own music playing, which created a lively and authentic vibe. The sea was quite clean, and despite the crowds, we still enjoyed the experience overall.

It’s a sand beach and the water is amazing, clean even though there were so many people, and not too much deep, so great also for families with small kids. Near are small islands of rock towards which you can swim or simply walk, they are great for watching sea&chilling. There are free toilets and even free protected storage lockers. There were also animators or something like that and they are making a fun activities like dancing, exercising, yoga, etc. It’s definitely a full house and a tourist place, but I enjoyed it and even despite the fact I am shy and introvert I was dancing with complete strangers and it was amazing.

On the first day of our visit in Bari we went to this beach and we had a nice time 😍 if you want to catch a good spot you have to go early in the morning and it's best if you have an umbrella. We didn't have an umbrella and it was too hot for us so at noon we had to leave. The sea was very clear and calm, i recommend this beach.🩷

Bari City sandy beach, easily accessible by bus. It wasnt crowded and has a nice park and fitness or exercise area. I love the concept of having an eco friendly beach. The park had a lot of people having picnics, whilst the fitness area had people exercising overlooking the sea. Plenty paid parking, showers available too. A few benches to relax and lovely walking path. There is a small refreshments truck with chairs selling refreshments. The best place to watch the sunset with the sound of water in the background.

For a public beach, I really enjoyed it. I found it pretty clean and safe, free lockers to put your stuff at the entrance, toilets, showers and at least 2 places to get some food and water; water is not shallow so it is perfect for kids. Good job Bari for keeping this beach in a very good state!

Disappointing Experience I was quite disappointed with this beach. When I arrived, it was extremely crowded, which made it hard to find a place to relax. The water itself was also not very clean, which really took away from the experience of swimming or enjoying the sea. What made things worse was the constant reminder from signs everywhere warning not to leave any belongings unattended due to a high risk of theft. That made it hard to feel safe or comfortable even for a moment. Overall, I didn’t enjoy my visit. I expected a relaxing day by the sea, but instead I felt stressed and uncomfortable the whole time.

It's such a nice park with play ground for everyone. Either Kids, adults, who wants to make sports, who wants to go for a walk, or just to bring the kids to play, to seat and relax, bring the pet for a walk or whatever! The best of this park is the pond with lots of turtles. It's the highlight of it. It's also for free! But it's disappointing that the park is a bit dirty most especially the pond! It's full of trash.. it's amazing how those fish and turtles can survive living in a water with lots of trash.. It's even obvious that those trash have been so long time there and it was never cleaned. I hope the people will have the discipline and care to keep the cleanliness of the park then it will be 5*.

Good to stroll and to get some shade. Nice facilities for youngsters to play basketball. And do not miss the icescream by Telebari: best ever!!!

Clean and easy to get to by bus from downtown. Beach was pretty empty as it's late April, but looks well groomed and decent lounge chairs. Ate at the restaurant and had one of the best plates of grilled octopus ever! Spaghetti with snapper had only 2 or three tiny bits of fish. What there was tasted good. I hope to be going back when the weather is better.

Great Beach Day at Lido San Francesco! 🏖️🌊 One of Bari’s main beaches and definitely worth visiting! Lots of sunbeds – and they’re bigger than usual, which makes relaxing even more comfortable. 🏝️ There are lifeguards on duty, the sea bottom is soft and perfect for swimming, plus there’s a bar and restaurant right on the spot. We’ll definitely be back! 🍹☀️

Fair price, comfortable loungers. We paid 25eur for two plus an umbrella. The water isn’t the cleanest though I don’t think it’s the venues fault. Bar did not have many food options and I did not like that you need to pay for shower separately.
