I been staying hear for over a week and it's been really nice going to breakfast and being met with a smile and pleasant conversation. Makes it feel homely and familiar. We were very early to check in and they couldn’t be more helpful from storing our luggage and having housekeeping get our rooms ready. The location is close to everything you need including the Sea city Museum with a fabulous display of the titanic. The rooms were the loveliest. Every detail was spot on. From a personalized breakfast-to a fully stocked complimentary bar with waters, wine, sodas and snacks. They also have a coffee maker and kettle with everything you need to fix your morning drink . The floors are heated, there is air conditioning and/or heat should you need it. When I say every detail is taken care of? They have USB ports right next to the bed. The customer service was absolutely refreshing and so hospitable. Location is fantastic and close to everything you need from a Tesco to any kind of food you want. The neighborhood is lovely and safe. Can’t speak to parking as we didn’t need it. You can’t go wrong with this beautifully appointed hotel. So refreshing from the chain hotels. Our hotel we booked at the last minute didn't work out and, so my husband and I called Kylie (our guardian angel) as she got us accomadations at 11pm and saved our vacation. There is simply nothing else to this standard in Southampton. The room (Monarch) was stunning, with a dark grey panelled look, yellow accents and a skylight too, very classy. The bathroom is black marble with beautiful accents of light. I especially appreciated how good the air con was too, as it was a warm day outside. Service couldn't be more friendly, we were taken to our room and shown around it, plus it came loaded with a minibar, a couple of snacks and a continental breakfast too. Southampton has been crying out for a beautifully designed boutique hotel for a long time, and this is it! I hope to stay in one of the other rooms at some point, for another experience of it.
