Staff was really welcoming, let them know I came from Youngstown around 2.5 hour drive to play with my buddy and was his birthday and they were awesome. However, I will say, Champions gives some of the best courses in our area a run for their money. This course offers some significantly challenging holes while complementing the difficulty with some truly stunning views. While this course didn’t have much water there were a fair amount of trees and sand bunkers. Most of the courses played on downhill slopes. There were also several doglegs that presented opportunities to go off the tee with clubs other than driver. On course play alone I would recommend champions but they also come equipped with a newly renovated clubhouse, patio, driving range, and chipping and putting green. The clubhouse staff were cordial but not overlay friendly. Thea starter gave great tips and explanations for the cart path rules. Recommendations to the course staff: The only issue I had with the course was that they had 2 holes with grounds under repair that took up about 30 yards of the fairway. But they did provide signs that let you know how far to get to that area and how far to clear. My issue was that they just hosted the USGA Junior tournament and that had to be an issue for those players.Also, I don’t think that any course should be charging the full amount while there’s major repairs going on. If I don’t get the full experience then there should be some sort of discount. That’s just my humble opinion. This is more common practice at courses in northeast Ohio. Overall: I would go back to see the course fully repaired and hope there isn’t a ton wind.

I've played here 10+ times and I've never played a round in under 5 hours. The few times I've gotten lucky and played the front with minimal waiting, the course ended up squeezing new foursomes between groups off the back nine which causes a complete log jam. This has happened multiple times. The price is absurd considering the condition of the course and how boring the layout is. Most holes are flat and dead straight with parallel holes running next to them. The greens always have dozens of unfixed pitch marks. The only reason they can charge the prices they do is their location and lack of public courses inside of 270. They even charge full price when the greens aren't even playable (see photo of a literal lake on one of the greens.) It would have been nice to be told the course was in this condition when I was in the pro shop. The range they have is irons only and nothing like hitting off a fairway. If you are looking for a public course around Columbus that has better conditions and is much better value, I'd recommend The Ridge, Darby Creek, Mentel Memorial, or Champions over Raymond Memorial. If I didn’t make it clear enough, I wouldn’t ever recommend this course to anyone, even my worst enemy. You’re better off going to the beach and playing 9 holes in the sand. The goats were adorable, when we came in a baby jumped through the fence and was following our group. And when we came inside the “pen” to pet them he ran back in it was very cute! I reached out constantly about how the water heater is horrible you get about 5 minutes of hot water and the thermostat decides what days it would like to work in the winter. There were several times I would come home or wake up in the night to the heat running past the set temperature and they could never get it fixed even when they said it was. When bringing those issues to the leasing office they state building are “mature” - yes old and run down nothing of luxury. I put in several maintenance requests to get them fixed. It never was resolved but honestly the unit should have been completely remodeled and not immediately rerented out. Maintenance does do their best for what they are working with. The leasing office will take minimal accountability or be able to resolve issues within a timely manner. I do believe this is way too big to manage especially with the constant issues- leaking ceiling and mold, rats, trashes overflowing, changing management, older appliances they do not change out etc. You are really taking a gamble choosing to live here. I could write a whole book on my experience here but I am just glad I decided to move out and am moving on from having to deal with this place

I wish I could give them 0 stars but this was not an option. We came in with our two kids on Saturday to eat lunch and play glow putt, which we have enjoyed doing in the past. We sat down and ordered a pizza and basket of chicken fingers and fries. Roughly 15 minutes after ordering we were informed that they didn’t have cheese for the pizza. Our kids were disappointed but we told them to just make it 3 orders of fingers and fries then. About 20 more minutes had passed and my wife went up to check on our food. She was given an attitude and told they were working on it and it would be another 5 to 10 minutes. Another 15 minutes went by so I went up and said that we were just going to leave. She informed me that the chicken fingers were done so I agreed to take them to go and said we were no longer interested in the glow putt. The employee had the guts to charge me full price for the food which I reluctantly paid. We got out to the car and the fries were missing. I went back in and informed the employee. She replied saying that the fries were not done yet. I then told her she needed to refund me for the food. She went and spoke to her manager and refunded me. I was shocked that the manager / owner did not care to come out and talk with an unhappy customer. One would think that someone would try to explain to us that they were having difficulties and/or apologize for the wait and try to save their reputation. We typically don't have to wait close to an hour for chicken fingers. I like to think I am a pretty understanding individual. Had they explained to me that they were having issues with food or staffing I would have cut them some slack. I travel extensively for work so I eat out quite a bit and this was by far the worst dining experience I have ever had. This is the first time in my life I have not left a tip.

I have added photos of the wonderful thermostat from the 50s and the windows they were ok having in their apartments for over 2 years. On top of all this are completely ok with raising rent over 100 dollars in a year. Do yourself a favor and dont live here its not worth it... for one positive, location is cool i guess.
