If you want to experience fine dinning in a very private setting, this is the place to go. But make sure you reserve the Chef's table which can accommodate four people from the same group (I guess they can fit six if you cordially request). Nothing glamourous, yet the soft music, the cookbooks or the pile of flour bags give this room it's own place in a conversation. But it's only you and your closed ones and time will go by quickly. Don't expect the grandeur of presentation that you see in another restaurant nearby. But we were there for the food and it did not disappoint. Normally restaurants with any distinction will either place tables spread out enough so you don't constantly overhear conversations OR play music at a volume suitable to cover those conversations while allowing you to hear your dinner party. Lastly, I've always gotten a cute extra take-home treat like a baked good or coffee or tea leaves... but the one we got were plant seeds. Which is fine and cool, but I don't garden. So I have little use for these seeds which I'll likely just forget about in my drawer.
