We weren’t intirely sure what the cause could be but after looking at the best before dates we noticed that the cheddar dip provided to us was over 1 month past recommendation printed on the side of the container. I spoke with the manager who proceeded to explain to me that she would look into the situation for me. After 1.5 hours with no return follow up call, i called back. I was able to reach her and she explained to me that her inventory was indeed over 1 month past recommended date and did little to try and retain a customer. She may have had “one of those days” but it was clear she was fresh out of F@cks. It’s too bad because the pizza joint has been in business for quite some time and clearly would have had to have a particularly decent level of customer service to stay in it for as long as they have. Seems Lucciano’s Have lost touch with basic business principles a grade schooler understands. All in all, pizza was okay, customer service at management level appears to be a foreign subject to them and their dipping sauce could leave you running for the toilet. I almost forgot; the manager actually explained to me that she had her staff try the dipping sauce and nobody got sick; maybe that’s why it took her 1.5 hours to get back to me... Poor staff! If Lucciano’s is perfectly fine and willing to serve dipping sauce well beyond the best before date, what else has the kitchen served knowing that their food has potentially been compromised? As mentioned, the pizza was adequate; this is simply a review of my families latest experience at Lucciano’s.

After over 15 years, I was so looking forward to my Lucciano's that my mouth was watering more and more as it got closer .Talk about anticipation being hammered down by disappointment. I soon as I looked at them and smelled their odour I new there was something very, very wrong. With the first bite I felt almost nauseas. With the next bite of the other one I actually did gag. I guzzled half a can of Coke to try and get that disgusting taste out of my mouth and headed to the cereal cabinet. I told the guy that if it was my $40 I would be going back for a refund . The other pizza was titled Chef's special, with a combination of meats, pineapple, green pepper, onion, mushrooms, and cheese. Once again could have used more sauce, it was very dry. The toppings were nice and seemed fairly fresh and had quite a bit of flavour. The meats were also very good. Overall both pies left a lot to be desired, I have a lot of leftover I am not sure I'll finish.
