Utasav Restaurant in Prizam Complex, Junagadh serves amazing food — truly delicious! The hotel’s service and staff are also very polite and professional. Everything about the restaurant is great — from the ambiance to the taste.
However, there’s one negative experience I want to highlight. The elderly person who operates the lift in the Prizam Complex behaved quite rudely. When I had to use the lift twice to go down to the basement parking, he spoke in an unfriendly and disrespectful manner, saying things like “Why do you keep coming again and again? Are we your servants?” and even suggested not to use the lift. Such behavior creates a bad impression and affects the good reputation of Utasav Restaurant.
The restaurant itself is excellent, but I hope management or the complex authorities take necessary action regarding this, as such rude staff can spoil the overall experience.

Superb and tasty food in Junagadh. I had a good experience here. It's on zanzarda main road. If you're looking for real Punjabi and Chinese food then I hardly recommend this place. The staff is also good and friendly. Nice seating area and neat and clean.

They also havd A la carte options for other cuisines such as Chinese, Punjabi. Their punjabi curries are good enough in quantity for 2 to 3 people. Ambiance is not so great. Washrooms were dirty and little uncomfortable for women.

Though this place seems to be famous for Gujarati thali.. we were the odd ones who were having Punjabi food. But I must say that starters were pretty good..Specially the Paneer chilly. Main course was also good except the Naan as it was not very well cooked. Overall it was a good restraunt for Punjabi food.

While traveling from Somnath to Junagadh, we stopped for dinner at Patel Restaurant, located just outside the Junagadh bus stop. We ordered 2 Gujarati thalis along with Veg Manchurian soup. The thali was unlimited and very satisfying, while the soup was equally good in taste. The overall food quality was excellent, and the prices were quite affordable. They also have a variety of combos starting from just ₹210, which makes it budget-friendly. Do note that Punjabi and Gujarati thalis are non-shareable, but if you’re traveling in a group, they offer interesting options like the Kuber Thali and Khumbhakaran Thali, which are perfect to share. The restaurant has a nice setup, and the service was quick. I’m also attaching photos of the menu card, the hotel, and the food we ordered for reference. Looks Gujarati Thali is very delicious over here so highly recommended, but unfortunately I couldn’t able to have it in my lunch as I used to eat some dishes already somewhere else before visiting here. I tried some other recipes in main course. They are very scrumptious. Location is also very close to Junagadh bus station which is very helpful.

It felt like the staff was giving us extra attention because we were foreigner. It was too much, serving our food in our plates when we saw them doing it for no one else, or coming multiple times to ask if everything is good. It made me unconfortable.
Other than that, the food was good, nothing special, the kind of food you eat and don’t get bored at but also that you don’t crave. It looked clean in the restaurant which I appreciate a lot.

Had a wonderful Gujarati Thali experience in this restaurant. Probably due to time and Diwali season only Gujarati Thali was available but really had amazing food here.
The taste was simply good and it was all you can eat at a really affordable price. The food was served hot and service was great as well.
Location is good too opposite of Junagadh Bus Stand.

I used to love Swati Restaurant, Junagadh — their Punjabi food was among the best in town years ago. Sadly, that’s no longer the case. My recent experience was deeply disappointing.
We ordered multiple dishes: paneer sabji, various veg sabji, and Chinese Manchurian — but everything tasted bad. It seems like they just dump spices in, with no balance or authentic flavor. The paneer was bland or over-spiced, the veg sabjis had no depth of taste, and the Manchurian was a shadow of what it should be.
It was so bad that we ended up throwing away all the food. For the prices they charge, I expected much better.
If you’re looking for good Punjabi food in Junagadh, there are many better options. Swati needs to seriously revisit their recipes and quality control — otherwise, it’s just not worth the visit.

Good restaurant if you want to have kathiyavadi or Gujarati meal. We ordered gujarati thali (it had unlimited servings) which included 5 different type of veg gravies along with papad, chach, daal rice, roti, achaar, chutney. Taste was really good.
We also order dal fry which I can say was one of the best i have tasted in Gujarat. Chapatis are hot, fresh and soft.
Service is quick and fast.
Staff is polite and responsive.
Prices are absolutely reasonable.
Surely a must visit.

We ordered jain paneer mili juli which was recommended by manager.And Trust me it was very delicious 😋.We liked a lot and it is enough for 3 people.order cheese roti and Tandoori Roti . Chapati is not available here remember.
All Ambience , service,food was upto the mark service quick.Place clean vibrant.and very near to Swaminarayan Temple of Junagadh (Siddheshwar Mahadev temple) so easy by walking or rikshaw you go and enjoy like us.In bhavnath and near by uber can't work note that .

Came here for dinner a couple of times. The restaurant is located on a side street just off Jayshree Rd. The restaurant is reached via a flight of stairs for sit downs, while the ground floor of the restaurant is used for takeouts.
Inside, the restaurant is decorated in brown, everywhere. The ambience is muted with low lighting and a place where one can have a nice quiet dinner without excessive noise.
The menu is fairly extension and contains the usual array of North Indian, South Indian and the Indian twist of international dishes. I went with the Mysore Masala Dosa and a sweet lassi. I thought the dosa was perfect. Unlike most dosa I’ve had in India, this was not only cut up into convenient pieces for me, each slice had a generous filling. The lassi was also great, it was actually thin enough to drink without my having to water it down.
The service levels here is also fantastic. The waiters are attentive without being intrusive despite the fact that they’re on their feet the whole time because the restaurant is so busy. My coconut chutney nearly finished? A waiter appears to give me another bowl of the chutney. My water nearly all drunk? A waiter comes to fill my glass.
Overall, I’m glad this restaurant was so close to my hotel as it made it an easy choice to come here every night I was in Junagadh.

So as per the quality of the service and the product the price was too high. Even I tried to question about the same and the reply was very rude one. So don't take any beverages here. This review is for the Patel Dining at first floor of the complex. The ground floor Patel seems to be of different owner and the moment your car pulls over, waiters of both the hotels start calling out to you. The first-floor hotel has a proper dining setup with good interior and air conditioning. The toilets were a big disappointment, but considering the location it is acceptable. The staff is good and the head waiter who took our order was courteous enough. We took a dig at the main Thali menu, which came along with an extensive list of items. The buttermilk, the dal, the phulkas, the veggies etc were all served hot and unlimited. Sweets are served only once. We had gulab jamun at this time. The rice options were also good – plain rice and khichdi. Of course, we went for khichdi with a dash of ghee, which made it all the yummier. The thali was also priced decently and could be afforded by us middle-class people. All in all, a very good experience. All modes of payments are accepted here – cash, debit card, credit card and the famous online UPI system.

Too noisy place. You can't peacefully seat and have your meal. Seating arrangement is not good as the hight if sofa is too high. No waiter can see you. If you want to ask something you have to stand up and ask. Waiters are not bringing food on time. While my visit, suddenly fire happens in their wiring system, it seems they have recently installed all Fire safety equipments and don't know how to operate it.
We did not complted the meal though they charged Full and insisted us to have it while out side again fire broke up.

Was end of 2021 and had brought a EV vehicle on Xmas eve from Veraval. So at bringing back home we thought of travelling home in bike only approx 100km to home. But as we were travelling at sport mode an at weight of 130kg our battery got discharge in the mid of jungle. But were lucky found this hotel in mid an the Lady manager of the hotel helped us to charge the EV vehicle..spend 1hr in hotel had some snacks tea...surrounding was good..food was great....
