The first room we were given wasn't set up as a twin as we had requested (mother & daughter) so we were taken up another flight to the attic. We went down for dinner & mentioned it to staff who moved us back to our original room but split the beds for us while we ate our meal. This room was much bigger, warmer & the bathroom was huge & complete with bath. We both slept really well & it was beautifully quiet. Our Sunday dinner was delicious. I had the chicken & my mum had the beef. All of the accompaniments were very tasty. Breakfast was slightly disappointing for me as I ordered a favourite - eggs Benedict but the muffin wasn't toasted or buttered so felt thick & stodgy & the eggs still had a teeny bit of raw egg white which I managed to remove. My mum enjoyed her cooked breakfast & I can definitely recommend the pain au Chocolat. Overall our stay was really good & any issues were resolved by staff - nothing felt like too much trouble.
