The best boulangerie in Mougins! Fabulous cakes and nice coffee

Really nice sandwich and cookie gourmand😍
Anoushka — Google review
Bought a mozzarella tomato and pesto sandwich but it’s a complete scam. They only dress the outside of the sandwich to make it look like it’s stuffed but in really there were 3 small slices of tomato and mozzarella and the inside was just a bunch of lettuce. The bread was really tough and hurt my jaw chewing it. The lady that helped me was friendly and the bakery looked nice but doesn’t add up to the quality. Don’t get a sandwich here!

In 2014 I was in Cannes and bought here the best macarones ever! The mix of foi grass with figs is delicious. But the shop was then in the centre of Cannes. Is it still there or did they move to another district? How far away is the shop now or are there more shops in Cannes from Jean Luc Macarones? Can somebody please let us know? We are coming again in July this year.

Indulge in their unique and bold flavors like coconut sorbet, salted butter caramel, and inventive creations such as basil and strawberry ice cream. Visitors rave about the delightful experience at this charming parlour with its wide selection of flavors.
We had a wonderful experience at Papilla Artisan Glacier in Cannes! The crêpes were delicious, and the flavors offered were truly unique and high-quality. The storefront was cute and inviting, and the staff was friendly – they made us feel right at home. Inside, the shop was clean, with a charming and relaxing atmosphere. It’s clear that Papilla takes pride in using fresh, local ingredients and traditional methods, making this a must-visit for anyone in Cannes looking for an artisan dessert experience. Highly recommend!

A very tasty and well made crepes. Service was fast and staff was friendly. Despite its location it is not that busy (depending on when you go).

Tarek A — Google review
Excellent ice cream. Very friendly and generous owner who cares more about client satisfaction and real connections rather than finance!
Al — Google review
The gelato was delicious. Server was just so rude to us. We did ask to try several flavors and didn’t speak french, but we were always polite. We ordered 2 out of our 3 flavors and were discussing our third flavor internally. Before we could order the third flavor, the ice cream was served with one of the many flavors we had been discussing as the third. He never even confirmed with us even though we were clearly still undecided.

I am visiting from New York and what a treat going to this place was!!! Not just because the gelato was delicious, but because ASIA was incredible! From her welcoming smile to her beautiful energy, she was highlight of my entire trip!!!

Amorino is a renowned ice cream chain known for its artisanal ice creams and sorbets served with elegance. Their signature flower-shaped cones add a visual element to the tasting experience, allowing customers to create unique compositions of multiple flavors. With hundreds of different flavors available, there's something for everyone, and even kids' portions are an option. The staff provides excellent service with a warm welcome and always a smile.
Such a beautiful ice-cream and with rose macaroon on top (with ice-cream inside macaroon so soft and tender I was left speechless 🥰), got another one same day. Most beautiful ice-cream I’ve ever tasted 😊. And the other good thing, you can ask for all the types of ice-cream in one! I’ve tasted all sorbets and it was just a bliss ☺️

Yummy ice cream and beautiful presentation. You can choose as many flavors you want. Piccolo(small) costed 4,50€ but the flavor of the icream is yummy, you can tell is made home made. I ordered passion fruit is was a little acidic but ok. The staff was really Nice which is highly appreciated Would 100% recommend
Daniela R — Google review
The only place that allows as many flavors in a scoop. I loved their Creme pistachio (tastes like Dubai chocolate) and Creme noisette.. however they ran out of them quickly and never restocked. It's been 2 weeks that they don't have them . I'll add stars if they bring them back especially soccer they promised and an entire week has passed without restock
Al — Google review
Amorino is a fantastic spot for ice cream in Cannes! The quality is consistently excellent, with intense, well-balanced flavours and generous portion sizes — even the piccolo option is more than enough if you’re not too hungry. Each cone is beautifully presented in the shape of a rose, and you’re free to choose from all available flavours, regardless of size. We’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Edward W — Google review
One of the best ice cream I have ever eaten, it was as good as one I ate in Italy last year. I just tried fruit flavors (banana, raspberry, pineapple and passion fruits) all of them were amazing. Also you can mix as many flavors as you wish which is another advantage 🍒 And the prices was cheapest in Cannes ❤️ Wanted to add that all the girls were super nice and friendly ❤️

Gelato was fantastic but when i received my espresso, i was kinda disappointed because it was served with paper cup even though i said for here. But good place for Gelato absolutely

I always liked Amorino ice cream !In this particular shop I was very disappointed with the service !!!they were 3 ladies 2 were putting the Halloween decoration. 1 black younglady was extremely rude😡my daughter wanted to taste a couple of flavors she wasn't willing!!we've ordered a couple of pots with different flavors ,she missed one flavor!when my daughter mentioned it .this lady took some out the pot to replace the missing flavor. The portion was already super small !I commented but she was rude enough to say that how it's !I paid but I had to tell her that welcoming and smiling to the customers doesn't cost anything but would make a difference !she didn't like that then started gossip with the other 2 and laughing while we were leaving !!I went back to say that she was very unfriendly and now she laughing .She said I'm laughing because you're leaving !!!how rude is that !I told her I was to complain to the head office .she said go ahead I don't care!!I will be making a formal complaint for sure!she was as rude abnoxious as can be.She shouldn't be working there receiving customers !!!

Ladurée is an upscale Parisian bakery known for its exquisite French macarons and delectable desserts. With origins dating back to 1862, this renowned patisserie has gained international acclaim with its chain of cafes around the world. The Cannes branch, in particular, offers a delightful selection of macarons and pastries within a chic marble white interior that exudes sophistication.
We had some cake here. The little store was so cute and very clean. They had a variety of different cakes and macarons. We tried something with pistachios and a cake with rose and lychee. We also had some little chocolate cookies. The flavors were very strong and accurate. I really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Although the cakes were very pricey I would love to eat here again.
Hue L — Google review
Ambiance and macaroons quality are really great! Was served by friendly people inside the store. Just disappointed that this brand is overpriced. Nevertheless good quality though.
A S — Google review
Amazing macarons. We spent 38 euro for 12 macaron (very pricey, I know) but the taste is amazing. The waitress we had was also very nice and polite.
Phu K — Google review
The customer service at this location is atrocious and it starts with the grouchy manager. Instead of displaying some amount of understanding when a customer has an issue, her response is to turn around and walk away. There are thankfully many good places for macaroons in Cannes, and I would surely recommend that you don't go here until they fire the manager and teach their staff what "customer service" actually means! Apologize for any typos, as I'm posting this from my phone.
Amit V — Google review
The taste of macarons are good. I have no complaints about that. But paying 22 Euros for 4 small macarons and for a couple of tiny coffee is just bizarre. The size of the flat white coffee is a joke. Just look at the photo. It’s just an espresso with some milk foam on top and that’s it. Also, even if you dine in, they serve the coffee in paper cups. The service quality and prices don’t add up. I think 3 star is what they deserve. It’s typical tourist trap.
The V — Google review
We went there after lunch and we were served by a very rude waiter. He was tall and blonde and he kept interrupting me while I was saying my order because he kept telling me that he didn’t understand what I was saying. Aside from that he waited a bit before taking our order because he was “”””too busy””” laughing with his colleague. The macarons were good even If he didn’t get our order correctly. I think that before giving these people a job the manager should understand If they are polite or not. So rude he sincerely should be fired.
Emanuela P — Google review
I'm a huge Ladurèe fan and have visited many shops around the world, but the one in Cannes is the first one with the most unfriendly service. I left over €30 there, and she didn't want to give me a bag because you only get them if you have a box. I didn't have one because I had bought the large macarons and some of the small ones. The lady was in such a bad mood and didn't even look us in the eye. I don't know her name, but she has a mole above her lip and she's brunette. Our visit was on July 30, 2025.
Tona S — Google review
Visited this store on 29th June. Male staff member was conversing with 2 customers for ages (he was being attentive to them but too much, when there are other customers waiting). Two female staff members were behind the counter, but giving their attention to a private group/party at the back. We were left standing there for ages - we were next in line. Nobody to serve us. When one of the women eventually came to serve us she said the ice cream machine wasn’t working. An absolute waste of our time. Such bad customer service - if you take private parties, either close the store to the public or make sure you can cater for both !

Italian restaurant
Bar
Da Laura Cannes is a renowned Italian restaurant located at 9 Rue Du Vingt-Quatre Aout, 06400 Cannes, France. Since 1992, Laura Merlo has been serving the best Italian cuisine in Cannes.
The staff were super friendly and accommodating, which is not always the case in France. The ambience was relaxed with colourful decor which made me smile. The food was good too. I ordered a simple pasta dish with spicy tomato sauce. It was simple, fresh and delicious.
Laurel — Google review
Da Laura is a charming Italian restaurant located in the heart of Cannes that offers a delightful dining experience. The food, while not perfect, is generally quite good and the atmosphere and service make it a worthwhile visit. The standout dish was the truffle ravioli - the pasta was perfectly cooked and the truffle flavor was rich and decadent. This was easily the highlight of the meal. The bolognese sauce was also quite good, with a deep, meaty flavor. However, the risotto was a bit of a letdown. It was dry and lacked the creamy, unctuous texture that a good risotto should have. This was a disappointing dish. The carpaccio was well-executed, with thinly sliced beef that melted in the mouth. However, there were a few too many olives on top, which overpowered the delicate flavor of the carpaccio. The service at Da Laura was friendly and attentive. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and provided helpful recommendations. The overall atmosphere was charming, with a cozy, casual vibe that was perfect for a relaxed Italian meal. While Da Laura may not be the best Italian restaurant in Cannes, it is a solid option that offers good food, friendly service, and a pleasant dining experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable, enjoyable Italian meal in the heart of the city.
Rayan A — Google review
22€ for mesclun salad, a bulb of fennel cut into 6 pieces, a sliced carrot, a bit of celery and 4 cherry tomatoes that they didn't even cut in half. Accompanied not by extra virgin olive oil, but just olive oil. The red wine was very unpleasant and I didn't drink it, but they insisted it was fine and charged 15€ for the glass. Grossly overpriced and refusing to accept the wine wasn't good - I'd never recommend it.
Barbara K — Google review
If you’re a student that just happened to cross this restaurant like we were, you will be scared by the price. It is NOT cheap. Oh but the pasta is amazing! Everything is nicely decorated and the Carbonara is an absolute must! Not a regular dining experience for sure but a fantastic first and last experience due to the weight it had on our wallets. Best carbonara ever:)
Matilde V — Google review
I would say that I was quite disappointed this year with Da Laura. It used to be a staple in Cannes, but the food served this year did not live up to the usual standard. The clams in the vongole were not fresh, and some have even gone bad in the frutti di mare. I expected a higher quality of ingredients. And as usual, the restaurant is super busy, so do expect a wait of about an hour if you didn’t make a reservation!
FT — Google review
The restaurant was a random choice. We actually chose the first restaurant we came across and asked if they had gluten-free options. They confirmed that they did, and we were seated. We were relatively early, and there were still a few spaces available. The food arrived quickly, tasted delicious, and the service was friendly and accommodating. However, as the restaurant filled up a bit, the wait for the staff to come back to us was a bit longer. There may be better Italian restaurants in Cannes, but we were very satisfied overall, even if the prices are a bit high.
Christoph T — Google review
One of the best places to go in central Cannes. Don’t miss this one as best Italian place in central Cannes. Do make a reservation before you go. Excellent service and great food. Great choice of daily specials added to the menu are excellent choices. Many homemade pasta options with seafood or meat or vegetables. Great dining experience with extraordinary host. Enjoy
Kayman — Google review
We come here every time we are in Cannes. It’s beautifully charming inside and out. The service is fantastic and the mood of the owners is between cheeky and dry humour. Their staff are wonderful and the food is fantastic. It’s reasonably priced and must if you fancy some Italian in the French Riviera. Booking recommended!

Restaurant La Palme d'Or is a luxurious dining spot located on the Boulevard de la Croisette, boasting two Michelin stars. It has been a part of the legendary Hotel Martinez for over 35 years and is known for its chic contemporary dining room with a bay-view terrace. The restaurant offers creative multi-course menus paired with fine wines, providing guests with an exquisite culinary experience.
We did the tasting menu and it was a wonderful dining experience. The staff was attentive, the courses were brought out at a great pace, and the atmosphere and decor was executed well. It's clear why they earned two Michelin stars prior to renovations. Highly recommend.
Tuan T — Google review
Never been a Jean Imbert fan, but this surprised me. The cuisine here is refreshingly direct—Southern flavors done with real technique, no unnecessary flash. Simple dishes executed flawlessly. Service is razor-sharp, no missed beats. The terrace makes it special. Unique experience that actually lives up to the Martinez setting. Worth the hype, finally.
Mr Z — Google review
We found out about this incredible restaurant thanks to the Michelin Guide (1 star at the moment), and the Amex Platinum Dining collection. We did a 5-course tasting menu on a beautiful night in August. We were given a spectacular table on the terrace with a view. All courses were delicious and very well presented. The atmosphere of the restaurant was elegant, and felt like eating on a yacht.
Giuseppe D — Google review
Went with family to Le Palme D’or for a special birthday dinner. An absolutely wonderful night. The food was fantastic as well as the service (special mention to Mr Vion, the sommelier who helped us choose an amazing wine). The new decor is also very neat and appealing. We had a table on the terrace with great views of the sunset on the Croisette. An unforgettable experience.
Julio C — Google review
La Palm d’Or took us on a journey with a film inspired menu influenced by the sea. Expect delicious seafood and fish dishes with perfect quality ingredients. The service was attentive, kind and up for a good joke. The restaurant itself reminded me of being on a superyacht. The only thing that led me to not give full star rating is that the price matches a three star Michelin restaurant and although the food was excellent and the service good, the experience cannot compete with the best restaurants of the world, hence the price of the menu is set bit to high. Anyway i highly recommend giving them a visit.
Maximilian S — Google review
Great experience, every dish is like an art! I thought the food won’t be enough because the dish are all small portion, but at the end I am quite full! Nice food, great service, great view! Strongly recommend.
Si X — Google review
We took the Vegetarian menu and the Fish one. The first was surprisingly bad, the second one was clearly below our expectations. It's really a pity as the place and the service are very good. The personnel is very welcoming but the cuisine is too much below the standards to deserve a better mark. I hope it'll improve soon.
Kirlo90 — Google review
Here the ingredient is the star of the show. All the recipes are carefully crafted around it to enhance it without denaturing it. A very delicate equilibrium and balance of flavour and texture. As a result, your senses are heightened to focus on the core and simplicity (hiding a complex research) never tasted so good. From the amuse bouche to the desserts, you are treated to a mesmerising gustative journey. Although presented in its purest form, you can feel the acute research from the chef to balance and mix ingredients and flavours. Who would have thought to marry caviar and raspberries... enhancing the metallic and citrusy aspect of the fruit taking you to a new journey vs. the usual sugary raspberry pies. Or a delightful goat cheese and honey “lindor” type delicacy to end your meal. The mains are also super with the lobster tail, the lamb which just melts in your mouth and the sweet bread which is just out of this world. The service is also great and very attentive and caring with great sommelier and maître d’ counselling to discover you on local produce (we actually had a superb wine from the island in front of Cannes). The setting is probably one of the best in Cannes as you are in the croisette with a privileged and unique view. A must go experience

The food is amazing, I have no pictures because we always just eat because it’s so good. Great service also. Take the tabbouleh with extra lemon, hummus, and chawarma (as is or in a roll). 10/10. Perfect with a la carte for dinner and buffet for lunch. We got a gift when taking lunch buffet to go.

UVA is a stylish yet casual restaurant in Cannes that offers upmarket seasonal dishes and a great selection of small-batch wines. The staff provides excellent service and is fluent in English, making for a comfortable dining experience. The menu features delicious options such as pasta, seafood, and appetizers, with the risotto being a standout dish. Additionally, the restaurant offers an excellent wine selection to complement the meals. Customers can enjoy outdoor seating during summer evenings.
Really awesome restaurant!! Everything was delicious. We had raviolo, risotto with a lots of truffles and shrimps. The kids had French fries and even they said it was the best ever :) the tartar sauce for the fries was also extraordinary:) the service was superb. I really recommend it if you want to eat something special:)

I honestly cannot think of another place where I’ve eaten that has been as good as UVA. The atmosphere was relaxed and calm, the music was hip hop but it was soft in the background and not loud in anyway. Our waiter was amazing he answered any questions we had on the menu. The food was just spectacular, the menu is small but everything we had was perfect! If we come back to Cannes I would definitely be booking this place again and trying other things on the menu.

✨ Super chic French bistro — stylish vibes all around Staff was lovely, service top-notch ❤️‍🔥 The zucchini flower starter was amazing 👌 but my truffle tartare felt a bit too heavy — too much aioli and truffle 😅 My boyfriend’s prawns with fennel were fine, but a bit bland and oily. Cocktails were good 🍸 classic Dessert though… OMG 🤤 brownie with cream = perfection 🍫🍨 Definitely worth visiting — for the atmosphere, the people, and that dessert 💖

A hidden gem in Cannes for lovers of French cuisine. The ambient, softly lit dining room creates a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Each dish—from the crab ravioli to the strawberry panna cotta—was prepared with care and tasted sublime. Prices are surprisingly gentle on the wallet, especially considering the quality. Attentive staff add to the seamless experience. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a quiet catch-up with friends.

Absolutely fantastic experience at UVA Restaurant in Cannes! The ambiance is elegant and inviting, making it a lovely setting for a special night out. I highly recommend trying the Côte de Bœuf — it was absolutely outstanding! Cooked to perfection, juicy, flavorful, and served with delicious sides. The quality of the meat and the expert preparation truly made it a highlight of our meal. While the staff were okay—friendly but not the most attentive—the overall experience was still excellent. The food more than made up for it, and I would definitely return for such a fantastic dining experience. Overall, a 5-star restaurant with incredible cuisine and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Green Bagel Café Cannes is a trendy spot located on Rue Hoche, offering American-inspired bagels, sandwiches, salads, and pressed juice options. The café is known for its variety of bagel sandwiches, coffee, milkshakes, and juices. Customers appreciate the homemade cakes and cookies in addition to the delicious bagels. The location near Gare Cannes makes it convenient for visitors. Despite having only one server, the service is commendable.
Wasn't sure what to expect when we walked in as we had been looking for an authentic French patisserie but didn't find any open, so we decided to give Green Bagel Cafe a try, and I'm glad we did. The chai latte was creamy, delicious and easily the best one I've ever had. My wife got the brioche toast with jam which was delicious, but the star of the meal was the Le Qeubecois. Pastrami, cream cheese, mustard, pickle and lettuce on a Bagel. What amazing flavor combinations. If you're in Cannes try Green Bagel Cafe and you won't be dosappointed.

The coffee I had was super good. I was happy to try this cafe since the other one I was supposed to go to was full. I like the warm service of their staffs. It was genuine I can tell. What was so upsetting here was the old stock cinnamon bun I ordered. I can tell it was not fresh and was definitely old.

Bagel Café was such a cozy and welcoming spot. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly kind, patient, and understanding, they really took the time to make sure everything was just right. It felt like they genuinely cared, which made a big difference. The prices were super reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a great place to unwind. It’s the kind of place that feels like a hidden gem. I’d absolutely go back!

A nice place for breakfast/brunch in Cannes! They had a wide selection of bagels, we ordered Le Cobb and Le Classic, which were both very tasty. I liked that you can choose fruits for your smoothie. The waiter taking our order was patient and spoke English well. Keep in mind that the place can get pretty crowded during brunch hours.

Not many places in Cannes are serving good bagels.. this is close to be the best. Brunch Menu is served till 15:00 and is best way to go. Great options to have bagels with meat, cheese, avocado etc good salad’s & excellent choice of different coffees/ drinks/ desserts Open all day Service needs little improvement and place can be excellent. If you are bagel fan or breakfast person.. do try this place.

We got food poisoning from this place… Unfortunately the worst bagel I have had. There was nothing in the bagel (see photo) and the drinks (coffee, smoothie and matcha latte) were not good. The waiters were nice and exchanged one of your drinks because it was not drinkable. One bagel 8,20€

Brunch restaurant
Lenôtre, located on Rue d'Antibes in Cannes, is a renowned bakery and café known for its delectable pastries and desserts. The tarte au citron, featuring a rich lemon custard on a sweet pastry, is a popular choice among locals and visitors. While the prices may be higher, the quality of their pastries justifies the cost.
Lenôtre Paris was a highlight of our trip — we treated ourselves to a chocolate éclair and another rich chocolate pastry, and both were everything you’d hope for from a classic French pâtisserie. The éclair was perfectly light yet creamy, with that silky chocolate flavor that melts in your mouth, while the other pastry was indulgent, rich, and beautifully constructed. Exactly what you want when you’re looking for a taste of Parisian excellence!

The people that worked here are all sooo smiley and nice, just such a welcoming and very helpful people. The pastries looks like art honestly they're so pretty. Price wise it was kinda expensive but well we're in Cannes so that's kinda expected. I tried just 1 of their pastries cause I'm kinda full, it's a paris brest, very traditional french pastry. Very similar to eclair but with cream filling and round shape, a bit crisper pastry than eclair, delicious, a bit too sweet for me with the crunchy caramel bits but it is delicious. The coffee is really good too. You can also purchase homemade jam & spread if you're looking for gifts.
Septiana W — Google review
This was a little disappointing in some areas, so I got a macaroon which was beautiful, a slight crunch on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside and it wasn’t too sweet either. I also got a croissant which was flaky as expected however a little salty and lastly I got an eclair vanille, which was beautiful. Never had one before so I wasn’t sure what to expect and I had this to go. But it was quite soft but light and the cream was smooth with a strong vanilla flavour which I loved. The staff were helpful however as I sat in for my first two orders the staff took some time brining mine to the table and even longer to bring the bill. I would visit again but I would take my order to go.

I was very disappointed with the service. After being left alone at my table for several minutes without anyone acknowledging me, a waiter finally came by with a dirty shirt and handed me a menu. Later, another waiter who did not understand French took my order and brought the wrong dish. Overall, the lack of professionalism and attention to detail made for a very unpleasant experience.
Aude P — Google review
It’s my first time ever writing a review, but I felt the need to share what happened during our visit to Lenôtre Café in Cannes. From the moment we arrived, we were left standing unsure of whether to order inside or outside. When we asked the waitress for help, she didn’t even look at us while speaking, responding in an incredibly rude and dismissive tone. When we asked for the menu, she threw it toward us—again, without even making eye contact. We sat on the terrace and waited over 15 minutes just to place a simple coffee order. Eventually, I had to go inside to ask if we could order. The waitress followed and spoke with such arrogance and pressure that I ended up ordering something just to get it over with. Her attitude was intimidating and completely unprofessional. When we went to pay, the second waitress wasn’t any more polite, equally cold and dismissive. What shocked me the most was seeing this same waitress treat an elderly woman the exact same way. The poor lady ended up apologizing to the waitress for not understanding her pushy and impatient question, something no customer should ever feel the need to do. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in any café, let alone a place like Lenôtre, which prides itself on prestige. We’re not ordering from her personal pocket—her job is to be respectful and reflect the values of the establishment. Sadly, this experience has left a very bad impression, and I won’t be returning.

Le Quirly is a popular ice cream shop in Cannes known for its high-quality ice cream and welcoming staff. Customers enjoy stopping by after dinner to try different flavors each night during their vacation. The friendly staff and quick service make it a must-visit spot for many tourists in Cannes.
Le quirly is the best ice cream shop in Cannes. The flavours are so vibrant and the mint is SUPER refreshing!! My family witnessed the French national day with 500ml of mint chocolate ice cream! Shocking treatment in front of my children. Asked for a breakdown of my bill employee exploded, shouting every profanity imaginable in front of my kids, threatening to take my daughter’s water, pushing me toward the door, and making threats. My child was crying in fear. Claimed to be the manager. Absolutely unacceptable for a family-friendly place. Extremely disturbing experience for my family. On August 12th at around 20:30, I visited this ice cream shop with my children. The staff member (a man with curly hair in a ponytail, beard, and earrings, who claimed to be the manager) overcharged me for my order. When I politely asked for a breakdown of the prices, he became very rude and threatened to take my daughter’s water away if I did not pay. When I told him there was no need to speak so rudely, he began shouting and using every profanity imaginable in front of my children language they had never heard before. He then physically pushed me toward the door, threatened to spray us with something, and even said he would call the police. My daughter ended up crying in fear. When I asked for the manager, he claimed he was the manager and told me to leave immediately. If that is true, it is extremely troubling that someone in a managerial role would treat paying customers this way. I urge the owners to review their video footage from that day. No family should be subjected to this kind of treatment, especially in a place that is supposed to be family-friendly.

La Table du Chef is a charming restaurant with an elegant outdoor seating area and a cozy bistro ambiance. The chef, Monsieur Gensdarme, curates a daily four-course menu based on the freshest seasonal produce from local markets. Located near Rue d'Antibes, this Michelin-starred establishment offers modern French cuisine inspired by the changing seasons.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We went to La Table du Chef on Saturday to celebrate with my girlfriends for a 60th birthday, and it was such a wonderful experience! The surprise menu!!! every course was absolutely amazing — the flavors were incredible and so beautifully balanced. You could really feel the chef’s passion in every dish. At the end of the evening, the chef came out to meet us, offered us a drink, and even took a picture with us — such a lovely personal touch! We were so impressed that we took photos of every course… until dessert. The fourth course looked so good that we couldn’t resist diving right in before taking a picture! Overall, it was an unforgettable evening — delicious food, warm hospitality, and a truly special atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Diana F — Google review
🍽️ Restaurant Review: La Table du Chef, Cannes — A Disappointing Dance Behind the Curtain of Fine Dining Cannes, with its glittering coastline and cinematic charm, promises culinary experiences as refined as its red carpets. So when one steps into La Table du Chef, a restaurant whispered about as a Michelin star nominee, expectations naturally soar. Unfortunately, our evening unraveled into a cautionary tale of how elegance can falter when attention to detail slips. --- 🌟 The Concept: Surprise Menu with a Side of Disappointment The evening began with a four-course surprise menu — a concept that should evoke excitement and trust in the chef’s artistry. Instead, it opened with a tomato soup that felt more like an afterthought than a curated beginning. Thin, under-seasoned, and lacking any creative flair, it set a tone that the rest of the meal struggled to redeem. --- 🐟 First Main: Fish on Black Rice The fish course arrived next, perched atop a bed of black rice. Visually, it was striking — the contrast of colors promised depth. But the execution was uneven. The fish was delicately cooked, yes, but the rice was oddly chewy and under-seasoned, leaving the dish feeling incomplete, as if the kitchen had run out of time or inspiration. --- 🦆 Second Main: Duck Breast Done Right Relief came in the form of the duck breast. Tender, flavorful, and beautifully seared, it was the one dish that truly reflected the caliber one expects from a fine dining establishment. A fleeting moment of redemption — but sadly, it didn’t last. --- 🍨 Dessert Disaster: A Nail in the Sweetness Then came the dessert: a half-filled cup of mango pieces topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Minimalist, perhaps — but not in a good way. And then, the shock: a piece of nail nestled among the mango. Not a sliver. A nail. When reported to the waiter, the response was disturbingly casual. A slight apology, a replacement cup, and no further acknowledgment. No escalation. No manager. No concern. In a restaurant vying for Michelin recognition, this is not just unacceptable — it’s alarming. --- ⚠️ Final Thoughts: A Star That Shouldn’t Shine Yet La Table du Chef may have the ambiance and aspirations of a Michelin-worthy destination, but the experience we had raises serious questions about its readiness. Food safety is non-negotiable, and the lack of accountability shown during our visit casts a long shadow over any culinary ambition. Until the restaurant addresses these lapses — both in the kitchen and in its service culture — it risks turning its reputation into a cautionary tale rather than a celebrated success.
Joseph K — Google review
The best meal my fiancé and I had in our entire lives! So good that my fiancé teared up on the third course after his first bite of the duck breast and mashed sweet potato with foie gras sauce. Such a fun experience with it being a surprise menu, which includes an app, 2 main courses (fish and meat) and dessert. And was so cool to get a glimpse of the chef working his magic from where we were sitting. He seriously knows what he is doing!! If we ever come back to Cannes, 100% we will be back!
Elaine D — Google review
We loved the surprise menu and they also welcomed our toddler who was able to choose just one of the mains and dessert. She ate every bite. Every course was delicious. It's amazing that there's only one chef who cooks everything for the entire restaurant.

Me and couple of my friends, went on a lovely set dinner, food was delicious, served professionally. Staff was very attentive.
Mishka O — Google review
The food was very good and well prepared, but unfortunately the service did not match the quality of the kitchen. When I asked for a wine suggestion based on my preferences, the waiter simply handed me the menu and told me to choose. Each dish was presented with a very quick and almost incomprehensible explanation, and the plates were set down without any real opportunity to ask questions. We had a reservation at 20:00, but by 22:00 the staff were already clearing the surrounding tables, which made us feel pressured to finish our evening earlier than we would have liked. I visited last year and had a much better overall experience, so I was a bit disappointed this time. I hope the service can return to the level of the food, which remains excellent.

I really did not like this place. I feel like I wasted a night in Cannes here. The food is tremendously overpriced and the fish I ate – sea bass – had absolutely no taste and was sitting in a sauce that tasted more like chalk and foam than whatever was intended. (I know you're going to tell me everything in Cannes is overpriced and it is, but price-to-flavor ratio here is insulting.) The bread was like a roll in a hotel. The room is so uncomfortable with unnecessarily bright lighting and no air circulation. I needed to get out of there as quickly as I could.

Vilfeu Père et fils maîtres glaciers is an iconic establishment in Cannes, known for its blue facade and American diner-style appearance. With 45 years of experience spanning three generations, this master ice cream maker has earned a reputation as one of the best in France. Vilfeu is renowned for creating the fromage blanc sorbet that brought them fame and continues to innovate with over 80 new flavors.
Vaste variety of ice creams & sorbets. They're so good and the staff is nice. People like it here, 22:30 and there was a queue. They offer coffee, bagels and other things too. Fun place to be & definitely to try out.
N — Google review
The main attraction to this place is its 50s style diner decor with black-and-white tiles and bright, acid colors. The walls are decorated with vintage ads, license plates, movie posters, neon signs. The staff is dressed in a Fifties-meets-laid back 2017 style. Super cute hairdos as well! Too bad some of them are so unfriendly that you think twice about staying... There are lunch options but people mostly come here for dessert. The cupcakes, meringues and the zillion flavors of ice cream are as colorful as the diner and look tempting. Try the mini pink meringue and the (overpriced) double chocolate cupcake! The ice cream, however, is a bit of an overpriced disappointment. You will find a couple of better, more artisanal, ice cream parlors just five minutes away. At least you'll get what you're paying for - and with a smile. A mere one-minute walk from the Palais des Festivals, Glacier Vilfeu is a favorite haunt of journalists covering the Cannes Film Festival, sipping a coffee or eating a bagel or hot dog while shredding the latest film they saw.

Overpriced and poor quality ice cream. Straciatella is too milky and the Brownie one is purely sugar. We expected more of an artisanal shop. Wouldn't come back.

Both food and service were great. Had multiple breakfasts and lunches here. Staff are incredibly friendly and understanding. Would recommend to every Cannes visitor and local.

This place is so lovely. And the staff is so friendly and accommodating. I had the truffle gnocchi and my husband had the jamon gnocchi - both absolutely delicious. I also had an affogato for desert and it so hit the spot! Will definitely come back this week!
Bianca V — Google review
My only dislike about the place was that the smell of the bathroom is bad + very strong, and it leaks into the indoors part of the restaurant. If you eat outside there is 0 issue. Otherwise, I ate here 3 times. Once they served me an omelette that was a bit burnt, I brought it back to them and they happily served me a fresh one.
David U — Google review
Service is very nice but beware the food is terrible. Pennini with processed cheese slice.... In France unacceptable. Staff says yes "cheese like in BigMac...." It was nice that they did not to charge us for the pennini. Come on management don't be so cheap, there's no excuse just because serving tourists...
Chris E — Google review
Absolutely unacceptable service – avoid at all costs. The staff here were shockingly rude and dismissive from the moment we arrived. There was a perfectly available table for three outside, and we were only two people. Instead of seating us, we were told to go inside and wait for another table to open — fine, we complied. We were shown to a different table, where we quietly sat down, only to be approached again and told that this table was also “for three or four people” and we needed to move yet again. All the while, the staff refused to take our order, speaking to us with an arrogant and condescending tone, as if we were inconveniencing them by being there. This wasn’t just bad service — it was outright hostility. There was no effort to accommodate us, no courtesy, and zero professionalism. With so many excellent restaurants in the area that treat guests with respect, there is no reason to waste your time or money at this place. I will never return, and I strongly advise others to their business elsewhere.

I went to Barista Cannes every single morning during my trip to Cannes, because it’s that good! The baristas are incredibly friendly and knew me by name after a few days into my trip. I had a wonderful iced latte with oat milk and vanilla. Loved that they had alternate milk options. Fantastic breakfast, too! 10/10, please go say hi to my friends for me at Barista Cannes & tell them you saw a review from Jenna Barrett in America :)

The bakery Boulangerie/Pâtisserie "Le Saint Antoine" By Marquis is a great spot for a coffee or light lunch - their curry chicken sandwich is especially tasty. The location is nice and the staff are friendly.
Certainly one of the most beautiful pastry shops in Cannes. First you are attracted by the exterior, and then the cakes knock you off your feet. I think they make them according to old recipes. I got that impression. Not reliable information. The loaves look great. The coffee is excellent, there is water and juices. Toilet, clean, spacious and easily visible and accessible. The prices are in line with the place and the quality. If you are in the garden, you will enjoy the view.

Bought an assortment of pastries from here to takeaway. These are best eaten fresh, but we had bought them for the next day - unfortunately a few didn’t really stay very well overnight! The chocolate tart, mousse - like cake, and strawberry shortcake were still delicious! The creme brulee ice cream (in the fridges) is also yum! The place was very busy, and a bit pricey, but a nice treat overall!
KDD — Google review
When visiting Cannes make sure you visit the bakery and try their stuff. Its awesome and out of world. Language was a barrier but google translator did our job well. We were advised the best desserts and food and everything was fresh and yummilicious. Language of food speaks everything.  We loved the experience and would definitely go again when visiting Cannes. Really loved the french population of French Riviera,  very nice, courteous and go out of way to help you.
Jasdeep S — Google review
The café has a fairly large selection, especially when it comes to desserts and drinks — clearly trying to appeal to a wide range of customers. I ordered a pistachio and raspberry dessert. It looked nice, but the taste was quite average — nothing particularly impressive. The presentation was also disappointing: it was served on a very small plate, which made it slide around and really uncomfortable to eat. I had to wait in line for about 20–30 minutes. There were two staff members working, but only one was actually serving customers — the other seemed busy with something else. To be fair, we came about an hour and a half before closing, so that might explain the slower service — but still, it felt disorganized. The interior looks a bit old, but the location is great, right in the center of Cannes.
Rustam M — Google review
Stay away from this awful place. We stopped there for a quick snack and coffee. The huge line, stale quiche and disgusting coffee. But to top it all, the tables outside have no anti-slippery mats and all our sandwiches and coffee without 2 mini were on the ground!!! The cutlery was so filthy we didn’t even touch it.
Anna K — Google review
Authentic French fresh bakery . Coffe served hot with choices of vegan milk . Loved their fresh croissant and the good coffe served hot.
Kholoud A — Google review
Great place for traditional French pastry. Very busy but the line moves fast. Hard to find a table during the morning rush. Highly recommend.
OMAR C — Google review
A pastry shop with excellent products – here I had the best Tropézienne tart on the Riviera, even better than the original one from Saint-Tropez. The location is also good, close to the old town and the port. However, it’s worth mentioning that the pigeons are extremely annoying and aggressive, and if you’re sitting at an outdoor table, it’s inevitable that you’ll have to deal with them – so the atmosphere might not be the most relaxing. :)

Starbucks, a coffeehouse chain based in Seattle and located near the Cannes train station and city centre, is renowned for its distinctive roasts, light snacks, and WiFi availability. The friendly staff promptly takes orders, providing customers with the familiar Starbucks experience that includes special edition beverages. The indoor seating area is satisfactory while outdoor seating options are also available. Additionally, the establishment's proximity to Cannes' train station offers convenience. The café maintains cleanliness despite being bustling with activity.
It's better than the once back home in Seattle. Their pastries are so much better, and the selection is to die for, Corporate needs to come see how much better the stores are outside the USA. Absolutely no hands down.

Best ice cream in Cannes 🍦🍨 a must! Luckily, we got here one minute before it closed and had the strawberry and Greek yogurt, and then sat by Place du Suquet to enjoy them. Simply delicious. Fully recommended

The best icecream in Cannes! Fruity and delicius. We had it as our evening clusure, always drop by for an icecream before bed. The girl and the boy working in shop are so nice! 👍☀️🇸🇪

The ice cream here is truly fabulous — the flavours are intense without being overpowering, and the texture is rich and indulgent. I absolutely loved it! However, it is quite expensive, and I’m not sure the quality fully justifies the price of nearly €4 for a single scoop. That said, the staff work efficiently, and even with the long queues, you’re served fairly quickly.

Thinking that we really earned this, climbing the steep alleys up from the harbour, we got kind of disappointed: Passion Fruit tastes too sweet, artificial and carries a hint of dishwater. Additionally it is clearly missing the typical sour note of passion fruit. Unhappy. Have to try the next one (it‘s also the most expensive one we had this week so far - 3,70) There is a fountain just next to the shop to wash your fingers afterwards 👌

We came here twice, for the gelato was so delicious. The staff (at least one of the man) is kind, but not much friendly or welcoming, but still okay. Highly recommend to go. They have like 4 flavours of sorbers and 2 other flavours that are vegan and so tasty. Their frutti di bosco flavour is so far probably the best one I’ve had. Cute design.

The cookie shop was cute, but the experience was just okay overall. The cookies looked really good, but the taste didn’t quite match, they weren’t bad, just not super memorable. I also tried the matcha, but it didn’t have that authentic flavor I was hoping for it tasted more like watery version. The service was decent not unfriendly, but nothing that stood out either. It wasn’t a bad visit at all, just not one that left a big impression. Still a nice spot to try if you’re nearby!

Delicious food, impeccable service! We were a group of 28 colleagues, on a 3-course meal menu, and they managed to get everyone their food orders correctly, all at the same time, and absolutely delicious food! Seriously impressed. Super friendly staff. The combination of camembert with truffle was surreal, and the risotto (which we all know is an extremely hard dish to get right, especially for large groups) was creamy, borderline moussy - out of this world, insane! The cheese shop Ceneri is a must-stop if you’re in Cannes looking for some of the best dairy products around. With cowbells strung from the wooden ceiling and an amazing array of cheeses, this is the only place to go for your needs. The master fromager-affineur (cheesemonger and ripener) has been in business since 1978, and is so excited to share his expertise with visitors.
I recently visited a cheese shop in Cannes that was quite literally the most smelly place I've ever encountered. The strong aroma of cheese hit me as soon as I walked in, and I couldn't help but smile at the sheer variety of fresh cheeses processed right there. The owners were incredible—hospitable and knowledgeable, eager to share their passion for cheese. I was particularly drawn to a basket labeled “one euro cheeses.” When I inquired, they explained that each of these delightful pieces was goat cheese aged for one to two months, offering a perfect balance of flavor. They had an impressive selection, showcasing all four phases of cheese, from the freshest to the most aged. As a cheese lover, I felt like I had stumbled into cheesy heaven. This charming spot is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the rich, diverse world of cheese.

I was so excited to find this place. I went here with the single purpose of finding a cheese with truffles, and was not disappointed! There were several options. The gentleman who helped me (who thankfully spoke perfect English because I only speak beginner French) was very knowledgeable about my options and helped me narrow down my choice to a truffle tomme cheese. He was gracious enough to send me off with a sample of their truffle brie, which was also amazing. Highly recommend if you’re in search of some delicious stinky French cheese.

Be warned when you open the door and walk in the smell is quite pungent. That being said they have a marvelous selection of cheeses, many of which you won't find in the states at all. Not cheap prices but quality cheeses and abundance of choices. It is claimed that France has over 1000 different types of cheeses and you'll have a preview when you visit this place. Cleanly arranged and sorted by types it's a paradise for cheese lovers. Want a taste of real French cheese?.. Go for it. By the way this place has been there at the same place since the 60's...

Cafe
The bakery, Sapore di pane caffetteria has delicious pastries and coffee that is great value. It is situated in the well-known Marche Forville and is popular for its excellent bread, pizza and desserts as well as its good value. You can also grab a seat and watch market-goers haggle for their weekly groceries.
Tasty coffee and cakes for reasonable pricing - very friendly hosting. Sanitary with room for improvement

We love croissants from France. This placed delivered for us in Cannes. Definitely better than the other place we tried. Decent coffee and a chew croissant with flakey skin. Good place for a quick stop in the morning near the market.
Ch F — Google review
The treatment aimed at customers is completely disrespectful. Never before have I been treated with such arrogance and rudeness. The curly cashier is a person who cannot and should not be in contact with the public. Her behavior was, to say the least, shameful.
Costanza B — Google review
I found myself drinking the coffee because it was in front of me, not because I was enjoying it very much. I missed the excellent coffee on the opposite side of the market, at Copenhagen coffee Lab. The food was fair, though not heated all the way through.
Alec B — Google review
Unfortunately the toilets were very dirty, smelly and the light was not working well. It ruined our experience.

We had rice ball, Expensive for the quality & portion. aubergine with sauce tomate was almost gone and eggplant was bitter.

Hotel
Hotel le Fouquet's is an upscale property situated in the heart of the city center. It offers sophisticated rooms with balconies, as well as a stylish lounge area. The renowned chef Pierre Gagnaire prepares delectable dishes at Le Fouquets, including a tantalizing combination of beef, smoked herring, red tuna, and Beaufort cheese known as terre et mer tartare.
I had a stellar experience at Le Fouquet’s Cannes where i came to stay for a night. When working away i need to be able to focus on my job, everything else can quickly become a distraction. Here , Monique and her very helpful staff were perfect, the room was spacious, and comfortable. The location couldn’t be better, very close to the croisette and the shops/ restaurant but also not right in the middle of the agitation. I would stay there again next time.
Joel E — Google review
This hotel sucks! To begin with, they put us in another building that wasn't even part of the hotel, but residential. When we go to a hotel, stuck for daily cleaning and change of towels and bedding. under the bed a lot of dust, dirty sheets. old, weak and dirty air conditioners. The cleaning just happened after I insisted, because she said it was already 13h p.m. and it was very late. The receptionist is an older lady, very rude, mocking and without any empathy. In the bathroom, strange and wrong architectural constructions, I hit my head on the wood that is on top of the toilet, my head opened, with a lot of blood. I spent the night in the hospital, I missed a flight to another destination, hotel and everything and asked to do a late checkout and she made fun of the video I showed her and she said “because of that? My family are all doctors.” Without any empathy, I could have died because of a piece of wood that is in the wrong place and that was built the wrong way. Impossible other people didn't hit their head there too or will still hit in the future.

This is a lovely hotel with apartments also available. Monique is a fantastic host always with a smile. All the rooms a uniquely decorated and comfort is the only word that describes this lovely family run hotel in Cannes.

If you're looking for a delightful spot to satisfy your afternoon cravings, look no further than Douce Folie. This charming restaurant is the perfect place to indulge in a sweet treat or a light meal. With generous portions of their famous banana split and Americaine, priced at just 12 and 13 euros respectively, you won't leave hungry! Enjoy delicious ice cream and crepes while soaking in stunning views of the promenade and sea. It's an experience that will surely have you coming back for more!
Banana split and an Américaine cost 12 and 13 euros, and were HUGE!!
Emmi H — Google review
The old lady tried to rip us off by not giving back the change correctly. It would have meant we pay double price for the ice creams. She persistently claimed that she was right. It took about 10 minutes arguing (while we had a baby with us) and we even had to mention we would call the police to sort it out. Only then they gave back the remaining money (and secretly printed out the receipt which we didnt even get in the end). Shameful place even if the ice cream tasted good.

Nestled in the heart of Paris, La Maison du Chocolat is a delightful haven for chocolate lovers and those with a sweet tooth. This renowned chocolatier offers an exquisite selection of fancy candies, macarons, and pastries that are perfect for indulging or gifting. The atmosphere is enchanting, filled with the rich aroma of chocolate that instantly transports you to dessert paradise.
The clerk was cold but the place smells like chocolate heaven and everything we purchased was delicious.
Venus M — Google review
Never have we been treated like we were when walking into this store and trying to buy chocolate! Even our huge bags from laduree aren't enough to put the very snobby workers at ease. Clearly there needs to be more staff training on diversity. We have PLENTY of money and gladly would've spent more of it here if treated properly and attended to.
Lesli L — Google review
This is my favorite chocolate brand. Their chocolate is very delicious and the members of the stores in London, Paris and Japan are all very nice. However, I had a bad experience in this store when my friend and I visited it last Sat. We planned to buy some gift boxes and other products this time but the clerk who took charge of us wasn't very nice. He was cold and impatient.
WH W — Google review
Coldest and Rudest elderly female staff member, makes you feel embarrassed to have entered the shop. She clearly thinks she is far above her customers. - update to this review, that customer services have tried to correct the problem, suggest they fire that employee.
RC L — Google review
4 Stars - Good to come over and take a rest with its signature chocolate Cannes seemingly does not have an interesting or high standard cafe (or just that I cannot find one). We settled at a comfortable choice - La Maison du Chocolat for its consistent quality. Nothing surprise for sure, but it was a nice rest.
