The Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel is a stunning 17th-century church with striking pink spires and an elaborate sanctuary. Its neo-Gothic design gives it the appearance of a small cathedral, making it a captivating sight in the heart of the city. The vibrant coral-colored walls and triangular spires add to its dreamy allure, attracting photographers, artists, and visitors seeking unique experiences.
The architecture is amazing. Go at night and during the day to experience it and the surroundings in different ways. Head inside to find some solace from the hustle and bustle of the world outside.

Simply amazing church. Reminded me a bit of La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Numerous photo ops around the plaza. Lots of people lots of fun!

Just a beautiful parroquia (cathedral) to see in San Miguel de Allende. You don’t have to be catholic to appreciate the beauty and design of this church. You’ll see it from all around town. It’s the center of town for a reason and admired and appreciated by all her residents. Highly recommend.
Rail1riders — Google review
Simply breathtaking church, With such rich history. Day or night its a spectacle. So many shops, delicious eateries and music in the area. Loved every minute. Felt safe the entire time. Wear comfortable, rubber sole or traction shoes because the terrain (cobblestone) is rough outside of the plaza.

San Miguel de Allende, is a charming colonial town in central Mexico. Known for its stunning architecture, cobblestone streets, and good vibes, it attracts visitors from around the globe. The town's iconic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, with its distinctive pink towers, is a must-see landmark. Beyond its beauty, San Miguel de Allende offers a rich cultural experience, with numerous galleries, museums, and lively festivals throughout the year.

San Francisco Church in San Miguel de Allende offers a vibrant city experience with diverse musical performances and a rich culinary scene. The church hosts cultural events like the Dia de Muertos Requiem de Luigi Cherubini by Chorale San Miguel, known for their large-format choral concerts. The historic Tercera Orden within the San Francisco convent complex provides excellent acoustics for these performances.
Gorgeous church! Loved it and maybe I’m biased because I love churches but the inside was so nice and interesting.

The Crypt was open for the day of the dead, I felt privileged to be able to visit it. Deep under the church lay the room, in this understated yet beautiful church. One of the more elegant buildings in town.

Very nice, There’s lots of stands around but not close by that’s why deduced a star but if your around the area i recommend coming at night all the light are on and very beautiful. Recommend coming with the family.

This very state of the art decorative exterior Church of San Francisco was finished construction in 1799 and was early associated with St Anthony who was the patron of lost causes..the exterior has very elaborate design, referred to as Baroque..an associated Church-Inglesia de San Francisco is located to the west side of the connected square which has a fortress style chapel structure..
Michael M — Google review
It is a great Church with many great designs of the angels. Also if you are to visit this amazing church make sure you take photos. As for me I was not intelligent enough to not take many photos as I had only taken one. If you do get to visit the amazing church you should definitely take pictures of the statues there as there a great see of what had happened and what they represent.

For sure not the most famous church of San Miguel de Allende, but a very bold and massive construction from 1776, with a quite impressive Main Portal rich on very interesting Details. Good to see!

Jardín Allende is a bustling garden square in San Miguel de Allende, lined with charming cafes and boutiques. It's home to a landmark pink Gothic cathedral and serves as the city's most central plaza. The vibrant atmosphere is filled with dueling mariachis, buskers playing modern tunes on traditional instruments, and live performances at the Angela Peralta Theater.
This is the best place to start your visit of the historic core! Plenty of people watching, food and shade when it’s warm.
Karl G — Google review
A lively garden with live music and dancing in the evenings. There are lots of artisans and food stalls. It is a little small and can get a bit crowded but a perfect stop to look at the Parroquia as you walk up the hill
Jonathan Y — Google review
Beautiful! It's a place you have to go to when in San Miguel! Such a fun place to hang out, eat food and listen to the mariachi bands play!
Monica H — Google review
I was there for an incredible wedding and whilst I was there, there was a festival going on all weekend. 1000 horses passed through the streets one day followed by a huge party in the streets till the early hours of the morning with food and drinks available everywhere. The following day was kilometres of people walking the streets, dancing and acting for hours, music, culture and food everywhere, it was incredible. Fireworks from 2AM through till around 4AM, fun all round. I was there at the beginning of October 2025.
Craig B — Google review
One of the best places anywhere to sit and watch the world go by. Great spot for wedding watching on Saturdays.

The Spanish architecture, culture, history and the doors are absolutely amazing in this charming city! In the center of the Jardin, the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel church towers above you with cobblestone streets at your feet. It was very walkable and we covered a lot of ground within a week's stay capturing the unique essence in this area. There are hotels throughout the city as well as Airbnb's. The locals are very friendly and you're greeted by many passerby's! Buenos dias.

History Museums
The Museo Histórico Casa de Allende is a museum housed in an 18th-century mansion that was once the childhood home of Ignacio Allende, a prominent figure in Mexico's fight for independence. The museum provides a glimpse into the town's history and its role in the Mexican War of Independence. Visitors can explore the life of Ignacio Allende and learn about the broader history of San Miguel de Allende from the 16th to 18th centuries.
Nice historic resident/museum. The entrance was free and the only charge was 60 pesos if you wanted to take pics.
Tom C — Google review
Great museum to learn about Allende and life back then. Minimal fee for adults. Older than 65 free and childdren free. Note there was a minimal fee of 65 pesos to take pictures.
Elizabeth M — Google review
If you want to know about the beginning of San Miguel de Allende, the beginnings of México's War of Independence and the military insurgency of Ignacio Allende, this place is a must see. Very informative displays of the history of all the above including video presentations in all the rooms. The main floor mostly speaks to the history of the area and the economy at that time. The upstairs presents personal information on Allende's family, living conditions and Allende's insurgency. Also, on the top floor, tucked into a corner, is a very detailed display of the Cañada de la Virgen archeological site.
Paul S — Google review
Allendes house , not too big , but good way to go
Rebecca L — Google review
It is located in the center of San Miguel on the corner with the main church. The entrance is $70 MXN (price per person). It has two floors. In this museum you will be able to appreciate a lot of the history of Mexico's independence, plus you will feel like a visitor since it was the Allende house. You will find simulations of what their rooms, kitchen and other areas of the house were like. You can read in Spanish and English (but in a very limited manner). It is a must to understand how Mexico fought for its independence while learning about the day to day life of the Allende family,
Patrick T — Google review

Nestled in the vibrant city of San Miguel de Allende, the Templo del Oratorio de San Felipe Neri stands as a stunning testament to Baroque architecture infused with indigenous elements. Constructed in 1712, this church boasts an intricately designed facade made from pale-pink sandstone that captivates visitors at first glance. Inside, you'll find lavish altars and exquisite artwork dedicated to its namesake, San Felipe Neri, a revered figure from the 16th century.
This very beautiful church is located near the frequency visited Plaza Civica square.there is a rich history construction beginning in 1712 and developing later a more modern baroque structure..there are striking oil paintings and elaborate features decorate the walls of this church..there is a cloister located next to a side door..We took an hour+ to appreciate this very heartfelt church.

In the charming city of San Miguel de Allende, Quince offers a chic rooftop dining experience with stunning city views. The eclectic international menu features classic dishes like fiambre and enchiladas mineras, as well as Mexican renditions of sashimi and tuna tartare. The venue also boasts an impressive wine selection to complement the diverse flavors. It's advisable to make reservations in advance for this popular spot, along with other renowned restaurants in the area such as Aperi.
We only came for desert. The molten chocolate cake was great, their cheesecake was more dense than we are accustomed to. We were celebrating and they brought a Panacotta with a sparkler on the house… very thoughtful. Very trendy place with a DJ. Great view of the Cathedral and out on part of the city. All the servers were very attentive. The blankets were nice as it was very breezy and we wanted to sit outside until the rain came.
Rick S — Google review
Amazing meal and experience at Quince. Alan, our server, took great care of us while myself, friends and family bonding over a long but well spent dinner. I will say that the only thing that bothered me was early on- I was a bit concerned due to the noise level of the speakers, loud chatty staff, and lots of unsupervised children, but as the time passed the ambiance got better. Highly recommend the aguachile appetizer, the beef risotto entree, and honestly would trust the bartender with my life after trying their special cocktail of the day.
Lauren B — Google review
Excellent experience! The food was delicious. The cocktails were too good. Brittney was very helpful! Such a great place to dine enjoying the beauty of SMA. Try Ceviche Verde and Frida Roll- they are too good.

Quince Rooftop has been one of my top go to restaurants when in SMA. Aside from the breath taking views the food is exceptional. The entire staff really strives to make your visit one to remember. I went six years ago & again October 2025 both visits were memorable. Delicious food, drinks, ambiance....just what the soul needs!

Great Food & wonderful views & a great place to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion! About $60 a person for our group of 6. We did have 2 appetizers, wine & dinner, plus 2 desserts. We had 2 birthdays in our group. And the entertainment was awesome! Tightrope walker & a violinist playing along to DJ music!
Virginia G — Google review
Quince is a beautiful restaurant with a stunning view. We were a group of six and definitely needed to book a table in advance. I highly recommend the Aguachile de Picaña for a full flavor experience it really stands out. And for the picky eaters, the Rock Shrimp Tempura is a guaranteed win. You could honestly eat an endless amount of them. Great atmosphere, great food, and definitely worth a visit.
Johanna — Google review
A wonderful upscale rooftop restaurant with unique dishes ( and familiar as well). The dish combinations, like the beef with yellow pimiento risotto was delicious. The lamb dumplings were interesting, but maybe needed a bit more of the wonderful cilantro sauce. The salad was refreshing with the lemmon vinaigrette, and the camarones a la parrilla were very tasty (maybe a bit spicy). For dessert we had an interesting version of a black forest cake, which had nothing to do with cake but every bite was heavenly. Beautiful presentation!. Every dish is prepared with finesse, and the flavors are close to a Michelin type restaurant. The impecable service, the quality of the silverware and dishes shows the care they put into this lovely restaurant. Prices are fair, with a $20-25 price for an excelent dish or $15 chicken Caesar salad. The Margaritas are also fantastic. I will definitely come back! No se lo pueden perder. Platos muy finos de sabores delicados o exhuberantes, bellamente presentados y excelente servicio.
Irene W — Google review
Food was good for the most part. We came for our anniversary and other service was terrible. Restaurant has great views with good live performances, but like I said the service was terrrrrrrrible. Waiting around a lot for some people to even assists us, had to get up several times for us to get assistance. Our drinks empty the entire meal. There is honestly a lot of mom and pops restaurantes that have been more attentive and impecable service. This restaurant is pricey and needs reservations for bad service, please safe yourself the experience. Our consolation price was a cake though

The Centro Cultural Ignacio Ramírez El Nigromante, also known as Bellas Artes, is a historic cultural center located in a converted 18th-century convent. This former convent now houses art exhibits, classes, studios, concerts, lectures and films. The highlight of the center is its impressive collection of murals by renowned artists such as Pedro Martinez, Eleanor Cohen and David Alfaro Siqueiros.
If you are just wandering around and there isn’t much to do this is the perfect place yo just take it slow under the shade, appreciate murals and maybe even witness a performance of some sort. There is a new coffee shop inside as well with very affordable prices and some of the nicest servers around. It is a perfect stop if you just need a break. Years ago I was here for a Spanish Guitar concert and it was packed, so I am glad I got to come back for its relaxed and freer times, if nothing for it amazing architectural beauty and the views of the domes from the terrace. I recommend.

Free musuem that explores different artists inspired by Mexico. Loved the different mural work, especially the one by Siquieros. A very informative guard waled us through how to appreciate the painting and gave us a brief history of the museum. Love meeting people who love their job and have the inside scoop.
Elizabeth M — Google review
Very nice area with some resting and dining area. It also has a few museums.
Giovani M — Google review
Beautiful courtyard but the public was not allowed entry anywhere else including the hallways, rooms, or upstairs on the two occasions I visited. On one, the bathrooms opening onto the courtyard were locked and the guard advised they were not available. They were open on the other visit when a bazaar was being held in the courtyard. Nice bookstore, Spanish-only that I could see. I would return only during specific events.
Carrie L — Google review
This public museum is situated inside a well preserved historic landmark building. The exhibitions are great, you’ll have the chance to take a look at truly original murals from Siqueiros. Just be mindful it’s not a pet friendly visit, even when you get inside no questions asked from the receptionist… the guards inside will kick you out!

This is a beautiful space, with small separate galleries. A very peaceful place to visit. We returned a few times while we were in SMA, including to see a great free guitar concert one evening. Check out their bulletin boards for events.

Amazing places to visit and to take a coffee! I think this was one of my favorites places across the town. Free pass and sometimes they offer 10 minute tour telling you the history of the place so I recommend to take it. Go early also to enjoy the place with less people possible 🙂

The Church of the Immaculate Conception is a beautiful catholic church located on the south side of the Bellas Artes cultural centre in Madrid. It was founded in 1765 by the daughter of one of Madrid's most distinguished families, and features an impressive neoclassical dome installed in 1889. The church is popular with tourists for its beautiful architecture, and is also home to a small museum dedicated to religious art from around Spain.
Wonderful interior. Had a great deal going on in the plaza outside the church within its grounds. From the band to the bell ringers and the fire works were spectacular.

Small little church. Not too many elaborate painting or fresco, but worth a quick visit.
Nas L — Google review
This is a nice church that started as a convent. The story I was told says that the rich family of San Miguel created a combat for their daughter so that she did not have to go far away from the family. There is history it has been used as a church and an art studio. During my time you're there was a somber funeral procession that went through parts of the town and into the church service here.
Minh H — Google review
This very interesting and visually striking church can be viewed from many locations in SMA.. apparently it is also referred to as Las Monjas—The Nuns—building began in 1755..it is described as having a distinctive yellow, especially the dome..there are very fine oil paintings inside the church..this is a special space to spend some very interesting and relaxing time inside and outside this space..
Michael M — Google review
This is a beautiful old colonial style church. They have a cloistered section in the back of the church where the nuns sit and interestingly the main entrance is sort of back left just in front of the cloister. A lot of beautiful statues and dark wood. All masses are in Spanish so if you plan to attend services it might be helpful to know some. If you are just going to look at the church I suggest looking for mass times and avoiding those hours.

Iglesia de San Juan de Dios, located just 10 minutes outside the city center, offers a peaceful retreat with its surrounding park. Built in 1770, it was accompanied by a hospital run by the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God. During Semana Santa, it hosts the revered statue of Lord of the Column. The church's stunning architecture and serene atmosphere make it a must-visit, whether for mass or to admire its historical and religious significance.
A beautiful 18th century complex with an ornate interior and lovely gardens outside. We'll worth a visit, especially around Easter when the gardens and adjacent park become the site of the neighborhood festival.

While walking down Calle Canal I wandered along some of the smaller streets and came upon this very attractive church..the large trees and shade dream me in..there were people playing instruments, a food wagon with interesting dishes, a school just letting students off at day’s end...I just sat down and rested and very much enjoying the next hour of activity..my visit to SMA was February/March 2020, but I have just written about this event last year... I look forward to my next visit in 2022..

This is the very heart of the Historic Center of San Miguel. In fact, it is the anchor for the UNESCO naming of the city as a World Heritage Site. This is due to the fact that the Inland Royal Road and the 500-year-old Bridge to Guanajuato arrived here to the St. John of God complex in 1546. The Royal Hospital of Saint Raphael was founded in the 18th century and just celebrated its 250th anniversary. The building was a thriving school since the late 20th century. The inner courtyard of the "Hospital Real de San Rafael" as it was called, rivals the inner courtyard of Bellas Artes, only that it is a one-story version which lost much of its interior stone adornment in the 1960's. This area had a very small population and was at the edge of town. In keeping with good sanitation practices, the hospital was placed on the outskirts of the city using a formula for successful urban layouts which was part of the Spanish Crown's administrative order since Spain was a part of the Roman Empire. The first street of the San Miguel de Allende, formerly San Miguel el Grande, is San Pedro Street. "Upon this rock I will build my church" is a statement attributed to Jesus Christ, thus, tiny St. Peter Street (Calle San Pedro), is the very first street in the original layout of San Miguel de Allende-and it all started here, since the funding to build the San Miguel de Allende fabulous stone architecture came from the silver and gold mines that shipped the ingots through San Juan de Dios / Hospital Real de San Rafael, on the Royal Inland Road.

English mass was interesting. I mean, it's mass. So if that's what you're looking for then you won't be disappointed. It was very difficult to follow the service book. We could barely hear the speakers up front as well.

We found this church by accident while looking for a Sunday mass. As it happens they had one Sunday mass in English which was nice to have. The church itself is old and very beautiful with amazing store made domes and lots of statues. A great place to visit for mass or at a non mass time just go see the architecture.

Like so many of the cathedrals and churches in San Miguel de Allende, this is another historical charm. It's hundreds of years old and has spectacular art and architecture both inside and out. I have never attended an actual mass here, but religious or not, it is definitely worth seeing if you are in the area.

Brunch restaurant
La Posadita is a popular restaurant in the heart of San Miguel de Allende, offering traditional Mexican dishes with a twist. The menu features flavorful enchiladas with a chocolatey and spicy mole sauce, as well as highly praised chiles rellenos. The restaurant boasts a beautiful terrace overlooking the historic center of San Miguel, making it an ideal spot for dining. While prices may be higher than expected, the experience and view are worth it.
La Posadita was an unexpected surprise in every possible good way. We booked rooftop reservations for dinner same on the recommendation of a friend. Was not prepared for the view. It was gobsmacking. Food and drinks were top-level, much better than we found at more highly touted rooftops, and the service was perfect. Highly, highly recommend.

Truly excellent Mexican food plus the most gorgeous views from the rooftop. Too bad it was my last night in town or I’d be back in a flash. Gracious and thoughtful service as well.

It's been a while since we've been at La Posadita, so we were very happy to discover that the views, the service, and especially the food remain as excellent as ever. The front of the rooftop patio has some beautiful views of the parrocchia, but the back has even more spectacular high angle views of the western half of SMA... at this time of year, the Jacarandas are in full bloom. The menu is mainly classic Mexican, unlike the trendy fusion menu next door at Quince. We can heartily recommend the three mains we tried: the pompano chile filled with cheese, the enchiladas de los Portales, and the shrimp tacos. Cocktails are excellent and fairly priced. Service is friendly and professional.

Margs were on point. Old Fashions had too much bitters. Cheese was “eh”. Guac was ok. What saved this review was the service. Pepe was amazing.

El Mirador, also known as El Mirador de San Miguel, is a popular mountainside destination in San Miguel de Allende that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Visitors can climb to the top and capture stunning photographs of the charming colonial architecture as the sun sets over the horizon. The overlooks, including Mirador Cruz del Pueblo, provide an opportunity to pause and appreciate the beauty surrounding San Miguel de Allende.
Well worth the effort. We walked by going from Orizabo and Ancho de San Antonio to the right of the park Benito Juarez and up the Cjon del Chorro. Stunningly beautiful neighborhood. The walk is straight up the mountain using winding pedestrian stairs. A workout for sure. Once at the Mirador, spectacular sunset views over the town with great pic opportunities of the main church glowing in the sun. To leave, go down the gradual decline of Salida Real de Queretero to Hospice (I believe 2nd left) and take that down to the Centro. Very beautiful steep road with nice views of the church and sunset

Lovely panoramic view of downtown from a small viewing area with a few vendors selling trinkets and refreshments. The most direct route from downtown is up Terraplen then Huertas and take a right at the top. Be aware that it's a steady steep climb but the streets are beautiful.
Phil M — Google review
Though most of the view is obstructed by some branches of trees, the portion of it that allows you to see the actual sunset is very beautiful. You can see most of but not all of SMA from here and it truly is stunning. Would only recommend you to come check it out during the day or for sunset, I do not think this would be a good place to see the sunrise. One thing I did not really like was how full this place got during the sunset. I was not expecting it because it was a monday but it got slammed with people. I was a bit annoyed as it was relatively quiet up until they showed up, where they then proceeded to obstruct the view entirely and take turns taking photos.

Iglesia de San Rafael is a stunning church located in the heart of San Miguel de Allende, right next to La Parroquia. Its pink and ochre exterior stands out, and the bell tower is a sight to behold. The interior is adorned with beautiful decorations that are definitely worth admiring. This church, along with La Parroquia, graces the main square of El Jardin and should not be missed during your visit to this charming town.

Yes, the church is beautiful. Unfortunately if your accommodation is within a few hundred meters of this church, you'll need to wear earplugs to get some sleep. The bells chime not only ever hour, but often at 45 minutes past the hour. When I say every hour, I mean EVERY hour of the god damn night. Nestled in the vibrant heart of San Miguel de Allende, the Templo de Santa Ana is a hidden gem that often goes unnoticed amidst the bustling activity surrounding it. This charming church, constructed in the mid-1800s, boasts a striking yellow exterior and a simple rectangular design without an atrium. Despite its modest appearance, stepping inside reveals an interior that many consider to be one of the most beautiful among local churches.
This church was built in the mid 19th century and was a simple structure and was a religious space involving the fathers of the Oratory and the Beaterio Santa Ana congregation, a convent whose members lived in poverty... when the Public Library was set up the church was then redecorated..

This was the best dinner we had in San Miguel. The view is INSANE and the service was absolutely fantastic. They asked in advance about allergies/dietary restrictions and/or special events and were incredibly helpful in making sure all our choices were allergy friendly. We were celebrating my birthday and they surprised us with an adorable sweet treat that was dairy free to accommodate my allergy :) a MUST VISIT!!! My favorite rooftop of our trip

The view, the trapeez and violin show were amazing. The staff was attentive until it came time for the bill. We waited an hour to receive the bill after we asked for it. The food was delicious on some and miss on others. The sushi was so good as well as the birria appetizer. The seafood entree had a fishy taste. The party i was with raved about the burger and fries. The steak was also tasty. The drinks were fantastic. We ordered the house special and a guava inspired drink. You could tell fresh ingredients were used

The view is stunning, drinks are really good but the food does not meet the expectations specially for the price. We paid almost 800 pesos for a tuna tiradito with a frozen (horrible) tuna. We also ordered an octopus starter, but it was a pizza with 4 tiny slices of octopus.

What a view, what an experience. High atop the streets of San Miguel de Allende rest this incredible jewel. With breathtaking views of the bustling neighborhoods, this restaurant doesn't skip the small details. With top-notch wait service and staff. They thoroughly explain in great detail choice items on the menu. The food presentation is amazing, and high-quality ingredients are prepared with an equal level of attention. Depending on the time of day or year, be sure to bring warm clothes as it can be a little cooler than one would expect. Overall, this establishment is definitely a must experience. 5 points for environment, 4 points for food quality, 2 points for value of food. The main issue is that I'm vegetarian and their menu was limited. I ordered a salad that was meant to come with crab cake, but I obviously asked for no crab. I think I still paid full price for what is pictured below...300 pesos for 150 calories worth of greens and a glass of wine seems excessive. That being said the staff seemed friendly, the views were good and the wine was decent.

Its warm terrace in San Miguel de Allende provides a delightful sensory experience, making it a must-visit culinary destination in the area.
We were here for a social hour for a wedding and this place was excellent! The atmosphere was fun and the service was spot on. The margaritas were a little weak, but the food, the little street tacos were exquisite. Grilled crispy octopus, carnitas, a vegetarian taco, and a few others... And they just kept coming! Absolutely delicious, this place is not to be missed! The upstairs patio had a great view of the cathedral all lit up at night, and a DJ started to spin in the evening which really added to the whole atmosphere.

Incredible guacamole with dried meat, incredible salsas, and wine, chorizo queso fundido, tacos de barbacoa de res was ok, a little dry. Stunning view of the cathedral from the rooftop terrace. Don Ramón is a superb server!!!

So disappointed with the service. Our entrees took almost an hour to come out after we had finished our appetizers. We talked to the manager and they were only interested in us paying the bill. How can this happen for this caliber of restaurant? Clearly, it’s obvious the customer is not their priority. So sad to experience this in this beautiful establishment.

App was decent. Filet was on point. Chicken awesome. Mashed potatoes, while good, had a flavor added I couldn’t figure out. Chocolate cake was awesome. Old fashion’s were made perfect. Wine per my wife was great. Cosmo was ok Our server was amazing. Will definitely be back.

The place has an awesome view, great design and many seats to choose from! The upstairs area has a great view of the cathedral and other parts of the city’s rooftop! Staff where super nice and polite, how ever we had to ask 2-3 times for each item we order which was a little annoying! We only did desserts and drinks which were all good! Beware smoking is allowed here! A few people were smoking on the rooftop and it was a buzzkill! Cleanness: very clean Service: a little wonky Menu diversity: rather big menu Prices: fair Noise : dj music on Environment: awesome views! Smoking allowed Food: good

Definitely our favorite rooftop in san miguel. The music is excellent such as the service. The food is also good and the cocktails are great. Super recommended to anyone. The views of the city are also good.
Pa B — Google review
The service here was good and they were usually attentive and always accommodating to dietary requirements. The food was fine, nothing worth noting but not bad. The view from the terrace is quite beautiful and the ambiance was fun. We started with the pork tacos which were good but I feel like the focused more on presentation than taste. The volcán tostada was pretty good with bed of beans then meat and grilled cheese on top. The guacamole was fine but the artichokes were not great, I wouldn’t recommend ordering them. Lastly the grilled cauliflower was very simple but delicious. I would come here for drinks or if you don’t mind the food being okay.
Jose H — Google review
My friends and I had an amazing dinner here tonight. Jonathan was our server and gave us great service! We ordered the cauliflower and ceviche appetizers which were delicious as well as the octopus chicharron which was ok. Our favorite dishes were the shrimp and arrachera tacos as well as the grilled Mayan octopus. We were a bit jealous of the table next to ours which ordered the Mar y Tierra (Surf and Turf). It looked and smelled amazing and came with fun presentation. The view at sunset was beautiful son highly recommend going during that time.

Nestled in the vibrant San Antonio neighborhood, La Parroquia de San Antonio de Padua stands as a stunning example of pseudo-gothic architecture and is a beloved landmark in San Miguel de Allende. This charming church not only serves as a spiritual hub but also plays host to lively community events, such as the Fiesta de San Antonio de Padua held every mid-June.
This church is located along the La Palma and San Antonio Street intersection ..there is a school adjacent and we have always appreciated the school band practice when available.. there are food trucks in the street and at times there is music and art entertainment..the square in front of the church is usually busy with people relaxing in the decorative square..

Tunki by Handshake is a rooftop cocktail bar in Peru, named after the national bird. It's a collaboration with Handshake from Mexico City, known as one of the world's best bars. The menu is inspired by Peruvian Andean cuisine and offers creative cocktails and a curated wine list. The rooftop location provides stunning city views, making it an ideal spot for sunset drinks before dinner.
This place is perfect for small bites, cocktails, or a coffee/tea break. The staff was stupendous, and the small bites were packed with flavor. It’s a bit pricey, but the portions are generous enough to hold you over until your next meal. The dessert was also fantastic! The sunset here was absolutely magical—such a beautiful way to end the day. Our server, Alejandro, was exceptional. He handled our group of 12 ladies with ease and professionalism—great hospitality all around! We’d definitely come back, but only if we’re lucky enough to have Alejandro as our server again. I also want to acknowledge the hard work of the entire team. Behind Alejandro, there was the bartender, the chef, and the cleaning staff, all working seamlessly together. It was clear how much effort everyone put into making our experience special. I hope the hotel is rewarding their staff for such excellent service!

Proper craft cocktails, tropical cozy environment, rooftop views, good bites. Worth the stars. I recommend making a booking ahead of time but we were lucky to be able to walk in after inquiring at the Belmont hotel. Staff was friendly and super professional. This view was only rivaled by the view at the Numu hotel rooftop where we stayed for this trip.

An outpost brought to us by the official best bar in the world according to the 50best awards, aka Handshake. Without a doubt this is one of the most beautiful terraces in all of San Miguel. Do yourself a favor and catch the sunset over here. The food was great but there’s no shortage of that in this city. The cocktails- stellar, to be expected from their creators. But once again, the view is truly something to write home about.

One of the many highlights of San Miguel de Allende. Great service, we had a special pizza that night and I swear was one of the best pizzas I've ever had, and this is not a pizza place! The cocktails were tasty and perfectly strong. We also had a first class view. The clientele were mostly expats and/or tourist, which was noticeably boujee.
Jahjahfue ( — Google review
We went upstairs on the rooftop for drinks only. We tried five different drinks and they were all very good. Right amount of booze, but not too boozy. Service was fantastic. Music was playing, but the volume was not too loud to have in conversation easily with someone next to you. The biggest winner of this location is the view evidenced in the videos attached. Beautiful scenic rooftop. The roof rooftop is also covered in case of some rain. Drinks were approximately $15 per drink.

So so fabulous. Book ahead, because they may not let you in otherwise if you aren’t staying at the hotel. Fabulous cocktails and food - get the watermelon tiradito and the chicharron sandwich. I could have eaten one of those sandwiches every day. Tucked inside one of the hotel villas, so we had to go to the main lobby of the hotel to have someone escort us over.

Great view. We were the only ones there. Take the steps or you'll miss the views along the way. Also a good workout. Don't worry, there are lots of resting places along the way. When you're done, go back down to Salida Real del Qerataro and head south about a quarter mile. Grab a beer at the store and take in the somewhat less spectacular view with the rest of the tourists.

The site also features a store selling treats made by nuns, including the famous 'Nun Farts' cookies and candies.
Absolutely beautiful place and completely worth the visit. I got some bad information online and got here too early and had to wait for over an hour for them to open. They open at 10:00 AM sharp. It was completely worth the wait. It is a small church so it won't take you but 30 minutes to see it all unless you want to sit and pray. VERY IMPORTANT. If you are coming from San Miguel de Allende get a cab and negotiate the price including the wait time for the cab to wait for you to see the sanctuary and to return you back. You will not be able to find a cab to return back to San Miguel.

Truly Magical! Almost like a movie - inside the sanctuary beyond doors your eyes will see a visual explosion of the most majestic faith and religous sight — every wall, ceiling, and corner narrates the passion of christ. From floor to vaulted ceiling, the sanctuary is filled with intense religious imagery — angels, demons, indigenous motifs, poetic verses, and sculptural illusions that blur the line between painting and architecture. Far beyond a church, it is a sacriligious pilgrimage. I sadly arrived when mass was over, try to arrive before 10:00 am and consider paying extra if you are with a driver to go back since there's no public transportation. There must of been a holy celebration as I was given yummy and authentic sweet and spicy mole with garbanzos and juice in a bag and straw (Yes - very Mexican) I truly recommend visiting this once in a lifetime site!

As someone ( a logical, 6’-3” very common sense man) who is not normally emotional… my visit here literally brought me to tears. Cannot even begin to describe how humbled, overwhelmed, spiritual, and yet tranquil I became while walking thru this space. While some say it’s like the Sistine Chapel.. I found it to be 100 times more intense. Words cannot even begin to describe my experience. While many may not feel this.. it engulfed me with a sense of peace from God to be more understanding, compassionate , patient and spiritual. If there are miracles .. this can be chalked up to be one of them. Will be returning soon.

It was pretty neat. It probably takes longer to get to than to see, but it was worth the trip. I caught the bus from de Luz and animas in San Miguel at 9:30am and got to the Sanctuary minutes before it opened at 10. After spending about a half hour seeing the place (there was only one room to see), I only waited a couple minutes at the bus stop to head back to San Miguel. (Translated by Google) Peculiar architecture of the temple, unique design on its semicircular quarry façade, with wonderful elements in the niches can be seen. A single-body bell tower, of low height that matches the height of its façade. The design features make it so interesting because of its design. Inside, in a Latin cross, a small nave, with connections to the sacristy and on its right side the access to the Chapel of the Three Ave Marías. On its right side we can admire an original altarpiece that is the only one preserved as such, so the neoclassical is perceived with the traditional baroque. Worthy restoration item. (Translated by Google) Peculiar and central temple of Our Lady of Health, fascinating façade among relevant and historical buildings. Its internal connection with the Oratory Temple speaks of the synchrony between one and the other. With access to what was the Oratory seminary, trainer of students in search of an apostolate. Wow, it is a reference in religious activities in this wonderful world heritage city of San Miguel de Allende.
