Fabrica la Aurora is a renovated textile mill in San Miguel de Allende that houses cafes, shops, and over 40 art galleries showcasing works by local artists in various mediums. The enormous warehouse features numerous galleries representing diverse art forms such as pottery, textiles, and home decor. Visitors can also explore the shops within the complex, including Pineda Covalin offering colorful silk scarves and shawls, Cerroblanco Joyeria with fashionable jewelry incorporating gems and masterful metal work.
I was blown away by how gorgeous this place is! You can stroll through different galleries, sometimes meet the artists and have a chat with them. The sunny courtyards are just as beautiful! Being able to have coffee and a light meal while sorting out impressions at the end of our visit was excellent.

A Truly Wonderful Art Collection – A Must-Visit for Art Enthusiasts This gallery is an absolute treasure trove of artistic brilliance, featuring an impressive collection from some of the most talented and renowned artists. As you wander through the expansive halls, you'll find yourself captivated by the diversity of styles, mediums, and eras represented. The thoughtfully curated exhibits make it easy to lose track of time, and you could easily spend an entire day exploring and immersing yourself in the beauty and creativity on display. One of the highlights of this collection is the stunning array of sculptures that dot the landscape, adding a dynamic and tactile element to the experience. Whether you’re a seasoned art lover or just someone looking to enjoy a day of cultural enrichment, the sculptures provide fascinating focal points and conversation starters. In addition to the incredible artwork, the venue boasts several cozy cafes where visitors can pause, relax, and discuss their impressions over a cup of coffee or a light snack. The ambiance is inviting and perfect for a leisurely afternoon, whether you're taking a break from viewing the art or simply soaking in the creative atmosphere. Overall, this is a wonderful destination that seamlessly combines world-class art, beautiful outdoor sculptures, and charming amenities. It’s a place that inspires, relaxes, and delights—truly a must-visit for anyone passionate about art and culture.

Excellent place to visit local artists and view their artistic talents. They have a cafe and workshops. They also have artworks for purchase. It’s really nice place to view different artworks as they have multiple galleries.

This place is an act of generosity. Anyone can walk in for free (even with their dog) and simply enjoy the endless rooms of gorgeous art.

We did the Sunday Art Walk where many of the artists are there to show and talk about their work (First Sunday of the month). Great space and lots of art on display
Martin B — Google review
This is a very special gallery and a must see to add to your San Miguel trip. $100mx about $5 to take a ta I there. I loved it and bought some very special pieces of art for my collection. Don’t miss it.
Victoria M — Google review
So much to see! Wonderful art and sculpture and jewelry. Diverse mix of styles and media. Some galleries offer workshops. Two restaurants and a wine tasting room. Great experience!

Fantatstic art and antiques galley. We walked there and back from the plaza in Centro. So many eye popping displays. I snapped these images before I realized they ask for no photos throughout. I feel like these images do not egregiously snub that request. I discovered many things. I discovered a few art classes and a new artist I will be following. Well worth a return!

In San Miguel de Allende, there are several must-visit spots for shopping. One of these is Mixta, a store housed in an 18th-century building on Calle Pila Seca. The shop offers a diverse range of local textiles, accessories, and sundries, all with a mix of local design and international ideas.
Beautiful store. Attentive staff. The curation is exquisite, with a multitude of designers and styles. From furniture to trinkets, to floaty dresses, ceramics and more. It’s definitely skewed towards female customers — but an excellent place to shop for gifts and special somethings.
Liam L — Google review
Definitely left me underwhelmed. The overall vibe felt overly pretentious, like it was trying a bit too hard to come off as exclusive. It all felt more style over substance nice presentation, but lacking real depth or discovery. If you’ve visited similar stores in more design forward cities this one probably won’t surprise or excite you. In short, it wasn’t for me!
Meditation S — Google review
Beautiful boutique concept shop with a pretty courtyard! Prices were a little expensive in my opinion. But very detailed displays that I appreciated.
Jessica B — Google review
If you're in San Miguel, Mixta should not be missed. There are a ton of stores in the center of SM that are relatively all the same but Mixta stands alone. It is excellently curated and just so enjoyable to peruse. Anna the owner has fabulous taste, and also took time to give me a list of her recommendations of San Miguel. 10/10 recommend for a unique shopping experience.
Sarie S — Google review
Just came back from San Miguel and Mixta was my favorite store. It's a bit like a smaller version of Anthropologie, though Mixta's jewelry selection is much better. Very well curated collection of homeware, clothing, jewelry, and more. And love the way they have decorated the walls with colorful wallpaper.
Barbara O — Google review
Mixta is an absolutely beautiful store. The owner, Anna, has gorgeous taste and fills her shop with beautiful clothing, jewelry, bags and home decor items from all over Mexico and abroad. Walking through her store is like walking through an art gallery. Thank you, Anna, for creating such a beautiful shopping experience!

Great store for beautiful ceramics. I especially love the Chichipan familia work. The Tequilero's are brilliant as are their other ceramics that were for sale. Thank you

Sindashi is a treasure trove of hand-painted clothing that transcends the typical bohemian vibe you might expect. This unique boutique showcases an array of stunning dresses, blouses, shawls, and capes that are true works of art. With designs inspired by Mexican history, nature's beauty, and even haute couture elements like glamorous black gowns adorned with gold accents, each piece tells its own story.
Beautiful artist clothing. We always stop by when in San Miguel de Allende.
Marilyn L — Google review
Unfortunately, the dress I purchased during my spring of 2018 vacation was never delivered to my home address in Chicago. I paid $600+ US dollars and was told to wait 3-4 months. It’s been over 4 years and I never heard from the seller (white woman from Wisconsin). My husband purchased the dress for me therefore it was under his credit card. The card was charged, but he never pursued the matter. Only reason I’m able to take matters into my own hands has to do with the fact that I found the postcard from when the dress was purchased AND looked up the designer(s) Instagram page. I’m really hoping to hear from them soon. Otherwise, I would advise ‘buyers beware.’
Esmeralda B — Google review
Unique, vibrant, and hand-painted clothes by local artists at a reasonable price. How I wish stores like Sindashi populate metropolitan downtowns instead of LVMH and their kind!

Cocktail bar
Bekeb is a rooftop bar located in San Miguel de Allende, known for its contemporary mixology and classic cocktails. The bar is led by mixologist Fabiola Padilla and offers a diverse drinks menu with a guarantee of authentic flavor and quality. In addition to the impressive cocktail selection, Bekeb also features a food menu with offerings such as ceviches, fish tacos, and shareable appetizers.
Lovely and inventive bar with a great view over San Miguel. The cocktails had great presentation and magnificent flavor. I don’t know how I always end up ordering cocktails that involve a show, but get the Conjuro: easily one of the best cocktails I’ve ever tasted. The guacamole with pomegranate seeds is also fantastic!
Aaron H — Google review
First visit to Bekeb. Very creative and delicious cocktails with native Mexican herbs. 🌿 Good service, nice terrace and indoor seating. Suggest reservations. Fabiola was a very attentive host/owner. Recommend! NOTE: No food! 👎New location in Live Aqua no longer has food or small plates mayo 2025. That directly affected us having only one cocktail 🍹 since we went intending to eat a light meal with our drinks. Disappointed. Suggest removing food items/food pictures from Google.

New location is fantastic. Beautiful view from the balcony. Great vibes. Fabiola is incredible and showed us a great time. Group of 5 and she had us trying current and past menu items that blew us away. Phenomenal experience
Gunnar S — Google review
Bekeb isn’t just a cocktail bar—it’s an alchemy den perched in the veins of San Miguel Allende, where liquid becomes poetry and every sip feels like a brushstroke. The mixology there dances between science and myth, each glass a carefully tuned spell.
Roberto S — Google review
UPDATE The new location is amazing and the new menu drink is astonishing. It got even better! This is probably the dopest bar in all of San Miguel that truly embraces the Mexican charisma and passion for the flavors! I have been going here since the first time I went to San Miguel and I always make sure to reserve in advance because it always has a cool DJ playing and very interesting people gathering at the bar. The views are just stunning and I was just recently told that the mixologist there is kinda of a bad ass drink maker guru. The food is also buena and so close to the center of san miguel.
Javier I — Google review
Stellar drinks, service, and style. We happened to be there at the same time Food & Wine magazine. The split shot photo in my picture is them snapping the No. 7 with the owner of the bar on the left.
Bret P — Google review
Over priced drinks, two of the three were good. I would stay clear of the “Tuna”drink …we asked for some tequila to be added to it as it tasted of nothing at all…. Just the herbs. The view is what you pay for and the surrounding. The staff did their best

The Mercado de Artesanías in San Miguel de Allende is a vibrant artisan market offering a wide array of handcrafted goods. Visitors can explore stalls filled with hand-embroidered shawls, decorative pottery, silver jewelry, textiles, toys, hats, clothing, and rugs. The market is not just about shopping; it's also a culinary experience with sweetcorn snacks and homemade salsa or mole sauce to sample.
We had a lot of fun walking the Mercado. Lots of jewelry. Small gifts and homemade gifts. It's beautiful. The people are very nice and welcoming. They have boots they are not expensive. If my suitcase wasn't so heavy I would have bought a pair.

This is such a beautiful place! Its a one stop location. You can shop for groceries, flowers, delicious food, and souvenirs. Everything here is at a great price and you will leave wanting to come back!!
Tania V — Google review
This is a HUGE market in San Miguel de Allende. We had a fantastic shopping experience and it's one market that should not be missed. Everything from meals to wheels are sold here. The produce was fresh, there were hats, shoes, clothing, pottery, jewelry, light fixtures, and trinkets of all shapes and sizes. The vendors were kind and not 'pushy' in any way. If you're a visitor to SMA, this is a stop for you. Even as a resident, you will find some terrific bargains.
Steven R — Google review
Beautiful items everywhere! Pricing was very reasonable for handmade items. I truly recommend this market, you will fund done amazing souvenirs.
Gloria H — Google review
10 out of 10! So many little shops and fun finds! I would comped prices before buying😅
Julie G — Google review
This place is great. Lots of interesting stores, crafts, and vendors of all kinds. .Very helpful store owners. At the top level there is a very nice market for buying fresh produce. Also, some great juice and sandwich restaurants (right there on the edge of the produce) the sit down food court area is more hit or miss. Or at least in my experience.
Kevin M — Google review
Beautiful place — very nice atmosphere. You’ll find an eclectic assortment of arts from across Mexico. The market itself is spotless and very well maintained. Prices, however, vary quite a bit from shop to shop, often depending on whether you’re a local or a foreigner — which is to be expected. I’ve found that certain items can be 40–50% cheaper in the outskirts of the artisanal markets, depending on what you’re looking for. The vendors are mostly very agreeable and helpful

Camino Silvestre, meaning "wild road," is an enchanting store offering a diverse array of gifts and home furnishings with a focus on bird and nature themes. The shop's layout resembles a cozy home or garden rather than a typical retail space. Visitors can explore an assortment of items such as hummingbird feeders, birdhouses, art prints, wool rugs, fine linens, pottery, cookbooks, jewelry, scented candles, and more.

Clothing store
Abrazos Boutique is a local clothing store that specializes in Mexican-inspired clothing. The fabrics used in the store are typically brightly colored and adorned with motifs related to lucha libre wrestlers, Day of the Dead skulls, Frida Kahlo paintings, or skeletons. The seamstresses who sew the clothing are from Mexico and are known for their warm hugs.
We love this place. A wonderful place for gifts or “recuerdos” to take home. They are making great masks. We thought the version that goes behind the head would be miserable but they are actually pretty comfortable. They have dresses, aprons, hot pads, luggage tags, masks, shirts, bags and more. They take credit cards. I love the fabrics. One of a kind gifts. Nos encanta Abrazos. Las telas son bonitas y bien productos. Los cubre bocas que van atrás de la cabeza son más cómodos que pensamos.
Nettie A — Google review
A small but really well stocked store. I found Frida Khalo fabric that was very unique. Lots of fabrics to choose from.
Nayu B — Google review
A wonderful array of fabrics and products. I bought napkins, a tea towel and chef hat. All are THE BEST quality and so vibrant. I will be visiting in November to purchase a custom made robe, probably two! You can't go wrong with any item, you'll be supporting local seamstresses, and you're patronage will be most appreciated!
Marline S — Google review
Abrazos has mainly beautifully made items like Hawaiian style shirts, aprons, oven mitts, baby bibs etc. In the past the main item was fabric by the meter. (39.3” x 44” for us metrically challenged.) I’d estimate they have about one fourth of what they had two years ago. Today I bought a meter of fine quality quilting cotton fabric made by Windham Fabrics, “Succulents” that I’m sure came from the US. I paid $380 pesos. Of course it is more expensive than the US because they had to import it. The fabric they have is all themed to San Miguel and Mexico. It is a nice store but if you are looking for a fabric store you might be disappointed because they only had about 50 bolts. The majority of those have to do with Dia de Los Muertos, Day of the Dead.
Ann M — Google review
I’ve just been there for the COVID-19 face masks in March 2020. They’re very-well made in-house and meet CDC standards. They’re also washable and maintain their shape extremely well. We couldn’t enter the shop then, but they quickly responded with a display of masks at the street door. That really helped when the pandemic was just getting started.
George S — Google review
Cute store but expensive and most items have no price tags, which I don't like as it seems as if the prices can change depending on the whim of the salesperson. Also it's a hassle to keep asking the salesperson how much things are, so I didn't buy anything.
Traver M — Google review
Prices are a bit high by San Miguel standards, but the clothing and accessories are unique. The super colorful fabric is Day of the Dead themes mostly: you'll find aprons, men's shirts, pot holders and tea towels and more.

Flea & Street Markets
Ignacio Ramírez Market, located in the northeastern fringe of Centro, is a bustling and vibrant market offering a wide variety of goods. Visitors can find fresh produce from local farmers, meat from butchers, and freshly pressed tortillas. The market also features food stalls serving delicious dishes like milanese tortas and roasted goat and chicken soup. Additionally, there are vendors selling handmade tortillas, carnitas, cut fruit with cayenne, as well as household essentials.
Here is what you need to order: Fresh juice with orange and carrot Chicken torta Total comes out to 150 pesos, and you get a breakfast/lunch that you would never regret.

This place has everything. There are a lot of local venders, artists and produce. Also if you are looking for souvenirs they have all of them for a decent price.
Jonathan Y — Google review
Great market attended by mostly locals, which is reflected by the low prices. I've been to lunch there twice, and both cost 70-80 pesos each.
Brian P — Google review
Nice place, good products, nice fruits and veggies, nuts and seeds with good prices. Vendors were nice. I thought 20 pesos for the bathroom was a bit on the high side, but overall it was pleasant there with the live music and artisenal crafts. I REALLY appreciated that when I bought a bottle a water and forgot to get my change (from a woman cooking gizzards and livers in the open air area), a lady chased me down halfway across the market to tell me they were just making change and to come back for my change. We had a nice laugh about it, and I'll go back there to get some of whatever they're cooking just because I appreciated that honesty so much. After getting ripped off in other places, it helped restore some of my faith in humanity. There are still good people in the world and at least some of them are in Ignacio Ramirez.

Go here! Lots of excellent food options, very kind people, fun souvenirs, etc. We came back several times!

Very nice market and one of the cleanest and most organized we have been to in Mexico. Did not have a bad smell or flies and very nice. Prices are ok.

Artisans, fruits 🍎 veggies 🥕 pollo 🍗 ropas y sombreros (hats) and small restaurants are all inside. Definitely worth a visit if your in SMA. Locals and gringos shop there so you know it’s legit.
Rail1riders — Google review
It seems everything to buy is at least 30% cheaper than Centro shopping even when identical (and most is). Massive variety of gifts, household decorations, linens, ceramics, aprons, clothing, jewelry etc. etc. At the bottom of the market, keep walking straight through, to further market alleys, for rare costume jewelry and superb leather belts and also dolls, as examples... The top market is mainly fruit and veg, dried fruits and flowers. Should not be missed!

Panina, founded by Paulina Carreno in 2020, is a sun-filled bakery run by a small team of women. They offer all-you-can-eat sourdough pizza nights on Thursdays and cooking classes. The bakery is known for its delicious sourdough and amazing bagels, although they are not vegan-friendly. The atmosphere is reminiscent of an East London hipster bakery/cafe, with a great Americano that resembles a Long Black.
A must visit in SMA! 1) super pet friendly! They brought out a water bowl and freshly made dog treats for our dog 2) the bread is delicious! We had a concha and it was the best concha I’ve had in SMA! 3) the coffee is delicious and they have a lot of options 4) the food is also delicious! We had two orders of Turkish eggs because they were so good! 5) the staff is super attentive and friendly!

This place is SO GREAT. The owner is so sweet and the croissants and pastries are so good. We took a croissant making class and it was one of the coolest experiences ever. We came in 2021 and I can’t wait to go back!!!

Great place, great coffee with vegan milk options. The best bread! Great staff. Great courtyard & very dog friendly! Only request: more sweet vegan options 🙏🏽 please!

The sourdough is really good and the Bagels look amazing but aren't vegan so i couldn't have one. Everyone in the Bakery are very focused, reminds me of a East London hipster bakery/cafe. The Americano is the closest to what I call a Long Black in town. Great medium roast, super tasty. Would love to see some more vegan options as I would happily eat here as the food does look good.

Located at Mesones 93 in San Miguel de Allende, La Calaca is a treasure trove of Latin American folk art and antiques. Owned by Evita Avery, the store boasts decades-old folk art, hammered silver jewelry, and rare textile patterns from all over Mexico. Visitors can expect to find unique and authentic pieces that are akin to a museum collection but available for purchase.
This place has the best, most authentic folk art of any store I have found anywhere in Mexico. It's like a museum of Mexican folk art, only the pieces are for sale.
Geoffrey W — Google review
If you would like to see some honest to goodness folk art, made by true Mexican artists, some of whose families have been making it for centuries, go to La Calaca. The folk art here is not the type of thing you will see in the Artisans Market – it is high quality work. And there is a good selection of really nice handmade hats (I bought one). The owner Evita has been in the folk art business for decades, personally knows most of the artists and has visited them all over Mexico, and can answer any question you have about the artwork.

Located in the heart of San Miguel, La Cabra Iluminada is a cozy and minimalistic café that offers a wide variety of plant-based milks, raw desserts, vegan pastries, and international snacks. The friendly staff serves fantastic coffee and delectable cinnamon rolls. Visitors rave about the flavorful food and the excellent Long Black coffee. This 100% vegan spot is known for its amazing chilaquiles for breakfast and culinary excellence during dinner service.
Delicious and authentic Mexican food made vegan. I was very positively surprised to find this little gem of a restaurant serving extraordinary vegan takes on enmoladas, chilaquiles, etc. I tried a few items on the menu and what I would most recommend are the enchiladas verdes—their salsa was delicious and the vegan cheese they fill them with is incredible. Staff was very friendly and their place is quite cozy. I was a bit sad that their baked goods selection is European (e.g., babka, berliners, cardamom buns) as opposed to Mexican, so there was nothing sweet that would nicely compliment the meal. But otherwise, it was a lovely place and I will happily be returning.
Tamara — Google review
This place is just beautiful to me. The food is amazing and my favorite dish is the grilled cheese sandwich with tomatoe soup and chimichurri. The consistency of the vegan cheese is just wow, it melts and tastes great. The green juice is so refreshing and good. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are a vegan or non vegan, for vegans definitely go.

Absolutely the BEST vegan brunch in San Miguel de Allende and maybe the world. The food is divine and the service is super friendly. The birria is extremely flavorful and the grilled cheese sandwich is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. I’ve been back multiple times and the chilaquiles, pan Frances, enchiladas, tamales and burger are also exquisite. They do not miss. Highly HIGHLY recommend!

As others have mentioned, the coffee is incredible. I had a latte both times. The food is also beautifully presented and very delicious. Vegan takes on many Mexican dishes. Loved to come here when I wanted to read while eating ☺️

One of my favorite restaurants in San Miguel de Allende. I can't wait to dine here again when I visit again. My non-vegan friends loved this place. They wished that their French toast were thinner since the bread was very very thick. I loved the green enchiladas (enchiladas verdes), babka pastry, cinnamon roll, and the grilled cheese with tomato soup. It was flavorful and left me feeling fantastic. The restaurant/cafe is also very beautiful if you go further in. A vegan must try if you're in town!

Omg I love this place! 💗 I came here a year ago and now again this week - twice and the consistency and quality of the food is fantastic. I highly recommend, and really caters for meat eaters too, substantial, delicious and innovative dishes. Karla was super lovely at service and everyone else super friendly and kind too. And I just love the space, so nice to come and hang and also work! Great wifi! Highly recommend! 💗

Lovely vibe and ambience with remarkable plant based vegan cuisine. The vegan cheese is beyond tasty and the consistency of real cheese is beyond. We loved the enchiladas and the stuffed corn bowl along with the pear, nut ensalada in which tasted like real blue cheese 🥗 this restaurant is beyond just like it’s brother restaurant Don Tacos Tequila which is also beyond beyond.

SCAM! This is not a legitimate business, and all the positive reviews you read here are certainly phony. We put down a large deposit for a dining room set, but delivery kept being delayed, delayed, delayed. We finally cancelled the order but they would not refund. Esto le da aún más valor a las piezas artísticas promovidas por el señor Remigio Mestas.

In the charming city of San Miguel de Allende, Quince offers a chic rooftop dining experience with stunning city views. The eclectic international menu features classic dishes like fiambre and enchiladas mineras, as well as Mexican renditions of sashimi and tuna tartare. The venue also boasts an impressive wine selection to complement the diverse flavors. It's advisable to make reservations in advance for this popular spot, along with other renowned restaurants in the area such as Aperi.
We only came for desert. The molten chocolate cake was great, their cheesecake was more dense than we are accustomed to. We were celebrating and they brought a Panacotta with a sparkler on the house… very thoughtful. Very trendy place with a DJ. Great view of the Cathedral and out on part of the city. All the servers were very attentive. The blankets were nice as it was very breezy and we wanted to sit outside until the rain came.

Amazing meal and experience at Quince. Alan, our server, took great care of us while myself, friends and family bonding over a long but well spent dinner. I will say that the only thing that bothered me was early on- I was a bit concerned due to the noise level of the speakers, loud chatty staff, and lots of unsupervised children, but as the time passed the ambiance got better. Highly recommend the aguachile appetizer, the beef risotto entree, and honestly would trust the bartender with my life after trying their special cocktail of the day.

Excellent experience! The food was delicious. The cocktails were too good. Brittney was very helpful! Such a great place to dine enjoying the beauty of SMA. Try Ceviche Verde and Frida Roll- they are too good.

Quince Rooftop has been one of my top go to restaurants when in SMA. Aside from the breath taking views the food is exceptional. The entire staff really strives to make your visit one to remember. I went six years ago & again October 2025 both visits were memorable. Delicious food, drinks, ambiance....just what the soul needs!

Great Food & wonderful views & a great place to celebrate a birthday or other special occasion! About $60 a person for our group of 6. We did have 2 appetizers, wine & dinner, plus 2 desserts. We had 2 birthdays in our group. And the entertainment was awesome! Tightrope walker & a violinist playing along to DJ music!

Quince is a beautiful restaurant with a stunning view. We were a group of six and definitely needed to book a table in advance. I highly recommend the Aguachile de Picaña for a full flavor experience it really stands out. And for the picky eaters, the Rock Shrimp Tempura is a guaranteed win. You could honestly eat an endless amount of them. Great atmosphere, great food, and definitely worth a visit.

A wonderful upscale rooftop restaurant with unique dishes ( and familiar as well). The dish combinations, like the beef with yellow pimiento risotto was delicious. The lamb dumplings were interesting, but maybe needed a bit more of the wonderful cilantro sauce. The salad was refreshing with the lemmon vinaigrette, and the camarones a la parrilla were very tasty (maybe a bit spicy). For dessert we had an interesting version of a black forest cake, which had nothing to do with cake but every bite was heavenly. Beautiful presentation!. Every dish is prepared with finesse, and the flavors are close to a Michelin type restaurant. The impecable service, the quality of the silverware and dishes shows the care they put into this lovely restaurant. Prices are fair, with a $20-25 price for an excelent dish or $15 chicken Caesar salad. The Margaritas are also fantastic. I will definitely come back! No se lo pueden perder. Platos muy finos de sabores delicados o exhuberantes, bellamente presentados y excelente servicio.

Food was good for the most part. We came for our anniversary and other service was terrible. Restaurant has great views with good live performances, but like I said the service was terrrrrrrrible. Waiting around a lot for some people to even assists us, had to get up several times for us to get assistance. Our drinks empty the entire meal. There is honestly a lot of mom and pops restaurantes that have been more attentive and impecable service. This restaurant is pricey and needs reservations for bad service, please safe yourself the experience. Our consolation price was a cake though

Parks
El Charco del Ingenio is a remarkable botanical garden and nature preserve located on the edge of San Miguel. Spanning 67 hectares, it features an extensive collection of cacti from Mexico and around the world, along with other indigenous flora, some of which are endangered species. The landscape includes walking trails, a reservoir, streams, and a bird sanctuary. Visitors can join guided tours or take part in special events such as traditional temazcal steam baths and yoga classes.
Wonderful grouping of native plants! Lots of birds and the cactuses are blooming right now so it’s extra awesome! Be sure to support them further by picking up acute little cactus at the gift shop on your way out. They also had many regional handicrafts at very good prices
K J — Google review
Today, we explored the stunning Charco del Ingenio, a protected natural area and botanical garden located in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. While walking through 500 species of cactus and other native plants under the blazing desert sun wasn’t everyone’s favorite activity—especially for the kids—it definitely built some character! 🌵☀️ Did you know that cacti are some of the most resilient plants in the world? They’ve adapted to survive in some of the harshest environments, storing water in their thick, fleshy stems to endure long periods of drought. Charco del Ingenio is home to many rare and endangered species, making it an important conservation site. The area also has a fascinating history; it was once part of a larger volcanic region, which contributed to the unique mineral-rich soil that supports such diverse plant life. Plus, it’s a vital water source for the local community, with natural springs feeding into the area. Despite the heat and the challenge, it was a valuable experience for the kids—building character, awareness, and appreciation for nature’s resilience. Sometimes, the toughest journeys lead to the most rewarding discoveries! 🌱✨

I was pleasantly surprised! I was expecting a small park, but this place is big with many different trials to hike and places to see. I spent about 90 minutes here, but could easily have spent double that. The entrance fee is only 100 pesos, and they offer a discount for teachers and students with valid IDs. There is a huge dam, waterfalls, rivers, plants, observatories, and much more. They have a gift shop with handmade goodies to help support their conservation efforts. It is well-kept, and the variety of plants and small insects is fascinating. Come prepared with hiking shoes, water, sunscreen and a hat because you can spend half a day here. I took an Uber there and back, or you can drive because there is plenty of parking. They also have clean restrooms and a small cafe selling drinks. The views are amazing, and it's perfect for a quiet getaway in nature.

Charco del Ingenio is a great visit. Wonderful paths to roam and explore the large natural gardens. Beautiful plants 🪴 and cactus 🌵 mixed together. Large presa and wetlands. We are lucky and live only 10 mins away and joined as Members on the spot. Highly recommend a visit for couples, families and singles. Nice store and snack bar (jugo verde was delicious). Staff is great and very friendly.

I’ve been going for many years now - still the best place to stroll around close to town. Go in the morning before for the heat comes up, fabulous views over the city. Great vistas at any season. I finally decided to join the botanical garden as I really like all the new construction they have done architecturally the new rooms are excellent the vaulted curved brick work is amazing.

Fun place to walk and explore away from the bustle of the city. A ten minute taxi ride from town. Would be an unpleasant walk to get there. The gardens were larger than we expected with a lot of different types of terrain and landscapes. Also some amazing views of SMA at the far reaches of the park. Some cool sculptures. Poor internet signal in some parts. But the woman at the front desk can call you a taxi home. Really enjoyed.

Atrio Restaurant, located in San Miguel de Allende, is a standout dining destination known for its creative fusion cuisine and breathtaking rooftop vistas of the iconic Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel. The restaurant offers a special dining experience with visually striking and delicious dishes prepared by a skilled culinary team. Guests can savor exquisite offerings such as succulent ribeye with smoky flavors and suckling pig paired with pear for a delightful balance of sweetness and savory notes.
Excellent rooftop, great view of La Parroquía, fantastic staff. Soft shell crab Baja taco is a surprising delight, and the roasted habanero salsa just perfect. Almond crusted tempura asparagus are creative. Croissant bread cube with rosemary butter is out of this world fantastic! Artichoke appetizer very tasty, and the Parmesan scallops smoke grilled over rosemary charcoal are amazing. Black squid rice and black pasta very flavorful and balanced without being fishy. Mini charred croissant dessert was almost as fun as the key lime pie. This is a menu I need to work my way through!

This is a great restaurant. Very tasty and very original plates. Each plate was delicious. Service was great. Location, the balcony facing the cathedral terrace is very nice. The only thing that is missing (for me) is good selection of desert. It is worth.
Simon K — Google review
We visited Atrio Restaurant as a large family group and were immediately impressed by the location. It’s perched on a rooftop right next to the cathedral, offering breathtaking views and a charming ambiance that really captures the magic of San Miguel de Allende. The drink menu was solid—plenty of cocktails, wines, and beers to choose from—and the atmosphere was elevated even more by the unexpected treat of a fireworks show during our visit. That moment alone made the evening feel special. As for the food, it was generally good, though not quite the standout we were hoping for. The “arroz negro” missed the mark for us, but other dishes like the ñoquis were delicious and well-prepared. Overall, Atrio is worth a visit for the views, the vibe, and the drinks. Just go in with moderate expectations for the food, and you’ll likely have a great time.
Gerardo F — Google review
Atrio combines fine dining, live music, and an incredible view of the church to create a memorable experience. The service was good, but it felt somewhat robotic. The tables were spaced so you felt intimate and your conversation was private. The food tasted good and was artfully presented. However, it was a bit rich, leaving my stomach feeling full. That’s more of me thing when it comes to meals at this price point. Atrio delivers at a high level, but I think you’ll find that it won’t be the best meal you indulged while in San Miguel.

This is one of our favorite rooftop restaurants in SMA. Great food, ambience, and service! Better view of the cathedral. It gets incredibly beautiful at night, the vibe, lighting - It is great for a date night for sure!

We came to this restaurant to celebrate a friend’s 40th. Our group of 13 traveled all the way from the United States to Mexico for this special trip, bringing along a bottle of wine with special sentimental value. It was a gift from our friend’s late father, given to him on the day he was born. Unfortunately, the restaurant completely refused to let us open the bottle. We politely explained the significance and even spoke with the manager, hoping for a bit of compassion or flexibility. Instead, we were told we could only drink their alcohol. We offered to pay a large corkage fee — 5,000 pesos — and assured them we would still spend generously on food and drinks, but they wouldn’t budge. Their unwillingness to make an exception for such a meaningful occasion was disheartening. In the end, we left before even sitting down. You’d think a restaurant would value the business of a large group celebrating something so special, but clearly, customer experience isn’t their priority.
Brooke R — Google review
Go somewhere else. Food was plated nicely but bland at best. My Lechon con Pera was both bland and cold. The black pasta had an off smell. The service also left a lot to be desired. Drinks tasted bland, definitely did not taste top shelf as advertised. One of the servers handled one on our entrees with his bare fingers at our table. Management did not care when reported, I was only met with a blank stare and an uninterested "ok". The atmosphere and view were the only good elements. Will not come back
Carlos B — Google review
We’ve been here several times before, we were fans of the ambience and entire experience. No longer. Dia de Los Muertos so very busy time and having done this experience many times before, we were aware of the crowds. Thought I had made res here for rooftop drinks after dinner but my mistake-wrong Atrio. We were told bar seats were checking out and it wouldn’t be long then a bar table opened: as we were just having drinks and not eating we offered the table to a couple waiting, encouraged by the hostess that they were grateful for this gesture and seats were imminent at the bar. A seat on the Karma bus, so to speak. Not so much: within minutes we were encouraged to check out a sister property 3 doors down, told that there was no bar seat opening after all and we just passed up on some seats to ‘do the right thing’ for no apparent reason. The hostess replied to that assessment ‘yeah, pretty much’. We will return to San Miguel. We will NOT return to Atrio.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the food, presentation and service. It’s what you wish food would be when you go out to eat, but it rarely lives up. Most delicious, fresh, homemade food with intelligent flavours and seasoning. Best overall food experience I’ve had in a long time. They were super busy, and kept the pace moving without making us feel rushed. The price was very reasonable (we have paid the same or more for way worse food.) We had such yummy goodness: avocado water (I will dream of this), espresso, amor amarillo (holy basil leaf taco) and all the things I’ve included in the pics…a FEAST! Highly recommend.

I loved having lunch at Raíces. It is a must try. I was originally interested in visiting because I found out the owner was on a cooking show. The place definitely lived up to my expectations. The drinks and desserts were incredible.

A relatively new addition to SMA, this place offers a very unique take on traditional Mexican dishes. Great for breakfast or an afternoon meal, I don’t think you can go wrong regardless of what you order. Try the Agua de Aguacate, it’s surprisingly delicious and refreshing! Note 2/6/22: this is the only place I’ve reviewed twice. 6 months after my first review and I just want to say that if anything has changed, Raices has gotten even better. The owners are wonderful young people making amazing meals, and I don’t think it’s possible to eat better in San Miguel. The flavors, the creativity, the presentation….they just pop. Even for an uneducated palate, Raices stands out. Treat yourself 😋

Amazing!! I had the best time here- everyone is super friendly and go out of their way to help you. The rooms are incredible, each one is different so I had a lot of fun doing little room tours of where my friends were. Everything is decorated and made up with so much thought- it was truly like stepping into a wonderland when I arrived. The location is perfect, too. You do not need to walk far at all to get to the market, main square, and the most delicious taco truck (corner of Insurgentes and Hidalgo). Casa de la Noche also has so many little places to sit and relax, in the sun or shade, and rooftops to sit on. Highly recommend for anyone visiting San Miguel de Allende <3

I have stayed in this hotel twice. Each for 8-9 nights. Both visits were very memorable. The hotel's location is very strategic, close enough to the jardin and the other attractions. I got the Working Girl Rooms, they are very impressive and full of characters, cozy in size, but enough for me. The staff went above and beyond with their services. It's clean, the breakfast/lunch are delicious. Definitely five stars!

This place exceeded my expectations on every level- the staff and service, the breakfast, the common areas are beautiful, bed and pillows perfectly firm and soft, respectively. Most importantly though, for Mexico, their water is purified so you don’t need to worry about brushing your teeth with bottled water or being careful in the shower!! I have travelled quite a bit and this may be my favorite place I have stayed around the world. The staff is kind, friendly, helpful, and speak both Spanish and English. The entire place has so much character, many beautiful and comfortable common areas, and such fantastic energy. I was really sad to leave!

It's a wonderful space for Mexican popular art, offering high-quality, original, and creative pieces that can be shipped worldwide. The gallery provides excellent service and features a not-to-be-missed selection of Mexican art.
One of the most beautiful shops in all of San Miguel de Allende. Selections from throughout Mexico. Alejandra (shown here) helped me find the perfect wedding gift today.

I have purchased several art pieces from this gallery- one of the best in San Miguel. Marina is extraordinary in how she collaborates with local artists. She knows their story and you are not just buying the art, you are buying the artist's story. It's magical. Thank you Marina and team for being so beautiful in the community-

I purchased $1,400+ worth of artisanal pottery and paid $700+ for shipping to San Francisco and 2 of the 3 pieces were destroyed. I reported the issue on January 18 and both the shipper and the shipping company have dragged this along until now (today is March 2). Do not trust this establishment to ship, communicate, or resolve claims.

The place was perfectly located, had a wonderful collection of art and craft pieces. The staff very knowledgeable and wonderful and took time to explain everything. The owner is a very special lady, her love for art and appreciation of the artists shows above her being a wonderful businessperson. We purchased a Chiapas art piece and her staff took time and care to wrap it so that we could carry it back to Baja with us safely. Thank you for making our trip special and we wish you all the best, success and happiness.

When in San Miguel de Allende, a visit to Mercado de San Juan de Dios is a must for food enthusiasts and souvenir hunters alike. Located just a short walk from the main square, this bustling market offers an array of fresh produce, including tomatillos, exotic fruits, and an assortment of peppers. The indoor section boasts vibrant displays of fruits and vegetables while the outdoor area features quirky souvenir stalls.
Love this locals market. Plaza Guadalupe next door is fantastic too. Christmas Holiday market is amazing. People come from the countryside to sell hand made deer made of vines, plants, decor and ornaments. Fair prices for all. Google Translate is your friend if you don’t speak Spanish.
Barbara B — Google review
Guanajuato has a great mercado which is located inside of an old train station. It is nice to see the train station structure still remain. You can easily travel back in time if you recognize how a train station operated based on some of the remains. Now you can all kinds of stands in what used to be waiting areas. You can buy fruit, meats, souvenirs, delicacies, bread, etc. One thing you have to be careful about it holding on to the banisters while going up or down the stairs because birds poop on them. I ran my hand over one of them and got smeared nicely. 🤢 Good thing my wife was carrying disinfectant wipes otherwise I would have gone with a poopy hand until I found a restroom. I highly recommend a visit to mercado San Juan de dios. It will be entertaining. 😊

This is the place to experience a completely authentic local market... inside and in the surrounding streets. Prepared and fresh foods, juices, flowers and herbs, clothing and shoes, kitchenware and religious statuary, etc. It's all here.
Lou K — Google review
There are at least 3 market areas in San Miguel de Allende. This one is geared to locals and is close to a bus terminal. Prepared food, fresh vegetables, home goods, clothing, etc. If you are visiting from the US, don't just go to the art market. Stroll through this place. It is safe and friendly. Just nod smile, and people will smile back. I am not reviewing if this place has everything or is the best market. I do not know. I am encouraging gringos to get out of the fancy shops and experience a safe part of daily Mexican life.

This wonderful boutique hotel surprised and amazed us during our very recent stay. We were visiting San Miguel as attendees of a massive wedding. The room was very comfortable and the staff was exceptional. The food at the hotel restaurant was amazing - to the point that we ate most meals there! Did I mention that the staff was amazing? We miss the hotel and will be back as repeat guests!

Here’s a polished version of your glowing hotel review in English: ⸻ Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff were amazing—professional, friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond to make us feel completely at home. The hotel itself, as well as our room, was impeccably clean. The location couldn’t be better—just steps away from the main plaza, making it easy to explore the city. Our room was spacious, beautifully maintained, and equipped with every amenity we could have wished for. We especially appreciated the thoughtful turndown service and the constant supply of bottled water. Breakfast each morning was excellent and a perfect start to the day. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough—it truly exceeded all of our expectations.

From arrival to departure, our stay was fantastic! The hotel Is beautiful and the location is perfect. Elda and Ivan at the front desk were especially helpful and friendly, assisting in booking our transportation from/to the airport, booking excursions, tequila tasting, and recommending restaurants in the area. The rooms were gorgeous, the breakfast and dinner on site at Trazo were delicious. Housekeeping and grounds staff were excellent as well. Would definitely stay here for our next visit.

This hotel is gorgeous! Service is outstanding - anything we needed they were able to help with, from arranging transportation, massages, walking tours and restaurant recommendations. The included breakfast was delicious, and so much food. We ate at the restaurant and the rooftop several evenings and everything we had was amazing. The views and ambiance and service were outstanding! I loved everything about this hotel didn't want to leave! We would stay here again if we return to San Miguel! The rooms were so pretty, and cool and quiet.

We had four excellent nights at this lovely hotel in the middle of San Miguel de Allende. The location is perfectly convenient to walking to everything you want to see. The hotel itself is beautiful…modern rooms, a great fireplace/bar, a beautiful full service restaurant, and a great rooftop. The service is also outstanding. We were greeted and attended to by Christopher who went out of his way to ensure our comfort and convenience, always in a caring and considerate way. The maid service was also great helping make the stay very comfortable. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting SMA. This is the place to stay…

La Europea San Miguel de Allende offers a diverse selection of European wines, tequila, and mezcal. The store is known for its extensive collection of high-quality spirits, particularly joven or clear mezcal. Additionally, it features a variety of delicacy items that complement the liquors and liqueurs sold. Conveniently located near Jardin, it provides reasonable prices and a broad selection in the heart of Centro.

Jeff B — Google review
Reasonable prices and a broad selection combined with a central location. About the only place to go in San Miguel for a broad selection of wines and spirits. (for exotic gin lovers, they even stock G'vine!)
John P — Google review
I went to this shop today and saw a special offer for Ricard at 378.50 pesos a bottle. I asked the assistant for two bottles and he rang up over 1000 pesos at the checkout, I asked why and the manager said I could only buy one bottle at this price with no explanation why. This guy has a reputation for being arrogant and extremely rude. I can’t believe he is running a business.
Ian M — Google review
Solid wine collection and appears to have a comprehensive liquor selection as well. Prices aren't too bad. It is a small space though.

Best choice of wines and spirits in all our trip to Mexico! Good prices. If you want to try local wines - buy them here. Same about mezcal and tequila

This one of the best interior design stores I've ever visited. I could have spent an afternoon there. The combination of art, antiques, incredible furnishings and one of a kind gob-smackingly great items was a wonderful surprise. Congratulations to the person who created this piece of design heaven.

Unfortunately Namuh did not meet our expectations for a very important project of us. We ordered three chandeliers made or iron and linen fabric and from the very beginning the communication with Namuh was always very difficult, they don’t communicate well with their costumers. Namuh doesn’t care about providing good customer service or products. They seem to exploit their artisanal sources on very simple jobs and charge thousands of dollars to foreign customers. We paid $7600 USD plus $2600 USD in shipping for three chandeliers from Mexico to the USA. One large chandelier came to us broken and in horrible conditions, the chandeliers were shipped in very expensive and custom made crates. when the crates were opened two chandeliers were damaged; one due to the poorly welding job, and two of them the fabric looked terrible and torn. It was not worth the 10k dollars that we paid. After filing a claim to the company and paying $700USD to re-weld the pieces that came apart from a local source, Namuh refused to pay the $700 bill of the poorly made chandeliers. My client was extremely upset for Namuh’s lack of quality and service. Namuh took two weeks to respond.. Erick Muciño the sales person said that he was surprised that the chandeliers came damaged reassuring that it has never happened before blah blah blah... and said that they couldn’t assume responsibility for the welding job that I had to do through an external source even though I provided him with evidence of the broken pieces and the invoice of the repaired damages, he simply said he will give me a 15% discount on my next order. I found his response insulting, distasteful and simply careless. I believe this company offers nice products, some of them too expensive, but the simple fact that they don’t take responsibility for their own damages makes me rethink their culture and ethics. I left with a horrible taste in my mouth because I really wanted this Mexican piece to be a focal point of our project. However the results were so bad, once we put up the chandeliers they looked cheap and horrible. We also had to electric wire them ourselves. As a result, my client decided to remove Namuh’s products from the project. I don’t recommend Namuh for big hospitality projects or simply thread lightly.

(Translated by Google) I Googled practically everything I was interested in, and they mark things up by 1000%. I understand their desire to win, but they exaggerate the price. They think they're the only ones who have exclusivity, but they really aren't. They're overpriced, and the merchandise comes damaged and cracked. You ask for a discount, and they take it as an insult. I didn't like the way they treated me; they were rude and had bad vibes. Had our wedding here on April 18, and everything was lovely, and the views are amazing, but we are having a problem getting our deposit; I kept in contact with them and have asked them for a confirmation number but have stopped getting a response. They mentioned it will take 1 month because it's an international account but I have contacted my bank in Canada and asked my bank how long would it take for them to transfer me the money from Mexico and my bank said international bank transfers will take up to 7 business days. We loved everything about the place, but we are really unhappy about how things are taking too long when it comes to refunding our deposit, and we are hoping this will get resolved as soon as possible. UPDATE: We received our deposit on May 29th after 6 weeks of waiting and lots of texting through whatsapp. We do recommend this place for a wedding as it is a beautiful and romantic venue. We had our micro wedding here (very uncommon in Mexico) with 14 guests. It's incredibly spacious for 16 people and would be very well suited for a bigger group, but we enjoyed our time nonetheless. Lastly, it would be very helpful for them to communicate the reason for the refund process to clients to avoid and to save people from misunderstandings and/or frustrations. Other than that, this place will forever hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you so much.
May P — Google review
Products are clay so have a rustic quality to them yet there is nothing rustic about the workmanship and finish of each piece. The tableware is lovely but you can find comparable items from different sources in the US. However I have never found out door pots like these. The colors are beautiful and the variety of sizes from very large to small is impressive. They are very well priced here in Mexico but like shopping many places abroad the cost of shipping is expensive relative to price.

(Translated by Google) It is a place that gives you a surprise, since you do not expect the beautiful place inside, entering through the Aurora road, you are greeted by a hallway filled with colorful murals and spots for very good photos. The square makes you feel in a relaxed atmosphere to let yourself be carried away by the art that is promoted and the places to enjoy some delicious dishes or a good coffee. Being a hidden place, away from the street, there is a calmer atmosphere. Plaza Aurora is worth visiting on your tour of this artistic area of San Miguel. Historical landmark
Nestled in the heart of Salamanca, Casa del Inquisidor stands as a stunning testament to Baroque architecture in Mexico. Constructed between 1780 and 1870, this exquisite residence boasts beautifully preserved balconies, doors, and windows that showcase its intricate design. Although it remains a private home and is not accessible to the public, history enthusiasts should definitely include Casa del Inquisidor on their travel itinerary.
This shop is perfect! They allow local artisans the opportunity to build art, knobs, scenes, metals, wood, ceramics by hand, and sell them to the general public with 100% of all products being made locally. I was taken back by the beauty and originality of their work and the way in which this shop operates. A lovely family business that deserves patronage and respect for doing things "the right way!" I purchased an amazing Toro Bravo that now stands proudly on my desk, it's beautiful.

(Translated by Google) Some buildings of civil architecture that stand out for their beauty and wealth in San Miguel de Allende are the residences of the Count of La Loja, the Casa Lámbarri, the House of the Inquisitor, built at the end of the 18th century and which has a façade drawn in the style French, or that of the Marquis del Jaral de Berrio. (Translated by Google) They say that the House of the Inquisitor constitutes one of the few examples in Salamanca of baroque civil architecture? It is believed that its construction began at the end of the 18th century and beginning of the 19th century, which indicates that it was one of the first properties built in the town. There has been much speculation about the name by which this house is popularly known: some claim that, in fact, a member of the Tribunal of the Holy Office lived there; However, others claim that there was never an Inquisition in Salamanca. Until now it is not known with certainty where the name of this House of the Inquisitor, which is also known as the House of the Tithe, comes from.

44Octagono Vino Ancestral

Winery
Located in downtown San Miguel de Allende, Octagono Vino Ancestral offers a unique tasting experience led by Marcelo Castro Vero. This winery stands out as the sole producer of natural wine in the region, crafting their red wine from malbec grapes in clay vessels, resulting in a silky and berry-forward flavor. In addition to their exceptional wines, visitors can also sample mint-infused mezcal and an array of housemade dips during the tasting.
My wife and I recently visited San Miguel de Allende for the first time and were fortunate to discover Octagono - vino ancestral, and was invited to a pop-up event hosted by Marcello and his family. The experience was truly exceptional. Marcello and his family were incredibly generous and welcoming hosts. All of their wines were fantastic - clean and balanced in taste and very easy to drink. We were excited to learn that their wines are all-natural and aged in clay pots. Attending the pop-up felt like being invited into Marcello's family, along with the other guests. There was an immediate sense of connection and warmth. The food was the best we had in San Miguel, and possibly the best we've ever had. Marcello and his family spoke English fluently, making us feel welcome and included throughout the experience. As much as we enjoyed exploring San Miguel in general, this Octagono pop-up was truly the highlight of our trip from Orlando, FL.

Our first time in San Miguel De Allende, and we must certainly be back. We happen to find "Octagono" by doing the same thing you are currently doing if you are reading this. "Octagono" is a unique place, the wines are not your typical wines, these are artisan-type wines, aged in clay pots, and the flavors are very different than the wines we usually drink. The wines are unique in taste, some may like them some may not, but both my wife and I like them. The atmosphere was chill, we were there early, so we had time to relax and enjoy a good part of our day, Christian who is the person whoserved our wines was super nice, and explained the process and how the owner and his family started all of this, he made us feel at home. He told us about the pop-ups that they occasionally have here at the place, we be back tomorrow to try the pop-up. If you are ever in San Miguel De Allende, I would suggest checking this place out.

If you're a fan of natural wine, this shop is a must-visit. The selection is outstanding, but what truly sets it apart is the warm and inviting atmosphere created by the owner, Marcelo. He has curated a beautiful space adorned with textiles and stunning photographs taken by his talented wife. Marcelo's hospitality is unmatched, and the highlight of our visit was having the chance to sit down and chat with him. It's an experience that goes far beyond just shopping for and tasting wine.

We were lucky enough to have been referred to Octagono by a friend who lives in SMA. Wow. What an incredible experience we had. Marcelo and his family were the best hosts in their cool, artsy space which feels like a cozy living room and funky gallery all in one. Highly recommend trying all the wine but my favorites were the orange and the blanco. Can’t wait to come back for another round!
Kristian Z — Google review
Some of the absolute best gastronomic experiences I have had in my life. This family run business is passionate about making natural wine and throwing the most original mixes of pop-up dinners and lunches. The tasting experience is also amazing arraying all kinds of fantastic natty wine, distilled beverages, liquor and mezcal. Snacks are a must too.

Everyone needs to make time to go here when they’re in SMA!!! Truly one of the best experiences I’ve had here. The owner makes you feel like you’re in his home and explains his wine (which tastes incredible). The art on the walls is from his family which was so cool. We thought it would just be a little charcuterie plate like most wine tastings we have been to - but this was not that at all. it was tons of food all of which had a story and was super unique and delicious. 10/10 it was amazing

Marcelo and Mukasha are one of the nicest couples I’ve met in all my travels and you’re missing out if you haven’t partaken of their hospitality either in the tasting room downstairs or at one of the pop up dinners they host upstairs.
