Nortons Brewing Company is a popular spot in Wichita, known for its adventurous spirit in brewing. The brewery experiments with bold flavors and unique ingredients to create distinctive beers that stand out in the local beer scene. It's a great place to hang out and enjoy craft beer along with other breweries like Central Standard and The Hopping Gnome. Additionally, Nortons offers a wide selection of beers on tap, making it a must-visit for craft beer enthusiasts.
BringFido App - good choice! Plenty of dog friendly outside seating, and great food at a good price! Spent much more @KC’s Bar-K for sub par food and drinks. Definitely a choice place to save for trips even without Molly!
DJ B — Google review
Highly recommend. Wonderful indoor, bar, and outdoor seating. Great selections of beer and cocktails. NA available too. The pretzel and feta cheese was delicious and mouth watering! Must try the Norton Burger, plenty for two people to share! Definitely would go back.
Kyndall M — Google review
We have some pretty amazing Breweries in Wichita and one of our favorites is Nortons. We love their drinks from sours, to darker beers, and to their beer slushies (add a shot of liquor for added fun), but the food is almost always on point with homemade sauces, and great service every time. We often bring home some beer to enjoy later. We also love this is an inclusive place where everyone is welcome and you feel it. We have such joy coming here!
Am P — Google review
Cute place. Fully decked out with halloween decor. Interesting food options. Tried the bacon crack sandwich and it was pretty good. House chips were good too. I would eat here again and try something lighter. Atmosphere was fun and relaxing.
Moonshine — Google review
Why visit? It’s where imagination meets hops, tradition meets tongue-in-cheek humor, and every visit tells a story. Whether you’re nestled inside under quirky artwork or lounging in the garden during live music, Nortons Brewing Company is pure Wichita energy in glass and grit.

Chicken fried steak was okay. The mash and corn were salty. My brownie cheese cake tastes good. A bigger slice would have helped my food score. The beer is GREAT. Get the 🐻 My wife also enjoyed her drink😜
Brian L — Google review
I went there with 4 other friends and we went there to hang out for a couple of hours and eat and drink. Amanda was our server. We went on a Saturday afternoon, and there was a political protest going on right outside, so they were VERY busy! We got a table right away, Amanda was VERY professional, polite, kind, and attentive! She managed to keep us all perfectly happy while also dealing with the huge crowd! She was great! I loved all of the Halloween decorations. The other staff were also all wonderful. The drinks and food was DELICIOUS! Everything was served hot and oh-so-yummy! I got the Philly sandwich. Tender meat, soft bread, no fat in the meat, and the cheese whiz paired nicely with the sandwich, much to my surprise! Thank you Amanda and thank you Norton’s for the wonderful experience! I will be returning!

Spent our 23rd wedding anniversary at Norton's and we loved it! Great beer, great food, fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Located in a spacious and industrial setting, Wichita Brewing Co. & Pizzeria is a popular establishment that offers an impressive range of house-brewed craft drafts and beer flights. Alongside their delicious wood-fired pizzas, customers can also indulge in delectable pretzel bites and pasta salad. With friendly staff members on hand to assist, the brewery ensures a satisfying dining experience with its wide pizza selection and thin crusts that prevent guests from feeling overly stuffed with dough.
We really enjoyed our visit. Foos was great. We had the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer and we had the cheesy chicken pesto pizza on one half and the classic margherita toppings on the other half (base sauce for the chicken pesto, you can do different toppings on halves but the base sauce needs to be the same). We also had beer samples just to try something new, but we are not fans of crafted beer.
Griselda V — Google review
Great service, great beer - i got a flight (disclaimer not a beer connoisseur), excellent food. We went on a Sunday evening and had the goat cheese salad PHENOMAL, the beer cheese, and a pizza.
Elle A — Google review
This used to be one of my favorite spots, but the quality and experience have really gone downhill. The pizza came out undercooked, the new sauce tastes bitter, and they no longer use fresh-shredded Parmesan on top. Even the seating has changed—they removed the benches, which were perfect for families with kids. On top of that, the atmosphere was disappointing. Most TVs were stuck on horse racing, Chive TV, or NFL re-runs on a college football Sunday. I asked for the K-State game and they wouldn’t switch it over. Even when I started streaming the game at my table, they never got the hint. Overall, a very unpleasant experience at what used to be a go-to restaurant for me.

Sorry! Dove into the pizza then took a pic. Any speak much to the brewery part but the pizza was good. Staff friendly and attentive. Would go back again.

Sad day for us. West side wbc was our first choice date spot when we moved to the neighborhood. The staff was incredible, the food always hot and fresh, cooked to perfection. We always went home happy, stuffed, and with leftovers. Last time we visited wbc we noticed an incredible difference in the toppings on our pizzas and salads. We figured it was just a bad night for them and decided to come back this evening. My fiancé and I frequently come here with our 1 year old because the service is quick and he is always entertained by the environment. As soon as we sat down we ordered his cheese pizza kids meal along with our beers. We waited 15 minutes for beers and then as we got our beers we ordered a salad as well, and after 30 minutes with no kids cheese pizza for our son, and no salad, we decided just to head out. Our server was apologetic and visibly disappointed. As we waited for our check we noticed multiple tables complaining about the burnt pizzas. The entire building just smelt of burnt crust. It's with a sad heart to say we will no longer be eating here. After 5 years of visiting this location we are deeply disappointed in the new ownership.
Hayle G — Google review
I have been coming here a few times a month at least for years and it’s always been great… since the “new ownership” they have cut every corner possible and the customers are suffering. Changing the quality and I’m sure cost of toppings, changing the types and “freshness” of cheeses… I’m very disappointed. I would much rather have a price increase opposed to sacrificing quality. Honestly don’t know if I’ll go back again at this point, the last 3 times were pretty bad… I mean look at this piece of pizza that’s supposed to be 3 toppings, where? And where’s the cheese…
Greener M — Google review
Very disappointing experience with this restaurant. It was recommended to me by a friend and I’ve been excited to try it. I decided to call in a takeout order but their phone was busy every time I called over the course of thirty minutes. On their website, I saw that you could order pickup thru Uber Eats so I did. The order was supposed to be ready at 6:06 p.m. and as I was driving there, I received an update that it would not be ready until 6:20 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., I was told it would be 20-30 more minutes as there were 5 orders ahead of mine. I was told by the bartender that Uber Eats consistently gives incorrect times. At 6:45 p.m., I finally got my order. The pizza was mediocre at best and it was cold. I ordered no olives on my salad, yet the salad came with olives on it. To top it all off, the meal was expensive. Very disappointing and I will not be back. Bad food, order was incorrect and unfriendly service.
Daniel H — Google review
Couldn’t get through on the phone, Uber Eats lied about pickup times, and I waited 40+ minutes for a cold, mediocre pizza and a salad without olives even though I requested extra olives. Expensive, incorrect, and served with the charm of a root canal. One and done.

Absolutely fantastic experience! The drinks are supreme in both taste and presentation, and the service is impeccable. Beyond that, it's a great place to hang out, with an incredibly comfortable atmosphere and chairs. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax and enjoy a top-notch outing.

Solid spot for hangouts, I was there for a quick bite and a drink after work meeting. The vibe is great and definitely cozy spot for gatherings. Drinks, beer tasted great, food was alright, nothing mind blowing but served its purpose.
Arturs M — Google review
The wizard of Hopps is very good, as is the style points! I had also come to enjoy their pizza, as I had heard it is very good! But, because there was a food truck out front, they were not serving pizza. 😢 I drove all the way from Hell Michigan to check this place out. I also enjoyed the live music.
Victor B — Google review
The best beer period and the best environment. You could drink beer somewhere else but if you did you’d be a fool

Very chill, laid back vibes. I loved the abundance of outdoor seating and how they had a large garage door that merged the indoors and outdoors. They had some really good locally sourced pizza and bomb brews. They specialize in sours and IPAs, which is super cool.
Bailey — Google review
This is the best brewery in The state of Kansas! Hands down. It is literally, the standard, that I hold any craft brew beer to. Wizard Wednesday is the best deal you can get on an amazing ipa! $3 a pour.
Rich S — Google review
Award winning beer. Free samples, laid back, very friendly staff. Really cool atmosphere. Bring your dog if you want. Want to get a beer with your spouse and can't find a sitter for your little kid? Bring them with you. They have a different excellent food truck in the evenings. I have tried every brewery in town. This brewery is at the top of my list for best in Wichita, with Hopping Gnome second, which is just down the street.

What a wonderful place to grab a bite. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and hellos. I had a Ham and Swiss on a scrumptious pretzel bun. And my granddaughter had a chicken wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. We will definitely will be back to try something else. I felt right at home here thanks to the staff warm hospitality.

This is an interesting place. I’ve wanted to come here for a while so finally had lunch with my son. Our sandwiches were good, but didn’t really stand out. I had The Bubbler, a hibiscus and bitter orange sour. It was pretty tasty. My son had the Shooter, bourbon barrel milk stout which was okay. The atmosphere is nice, plenty of seating either outside, indoors, or at the bar.

Great local eatery with unique choices. The sweet potato biscuits are wonderful. I enjoyed the eclectic atmosphere as well. Great service! Support local!! My friend had a Bloody Mary.

Sweet Allie B’s is absolutely incredible! I cater with them regularly, and every single experience has been PERFECT! They are always accommodating to my schedule, and everything is 100% spot on every time. The food is unbelievably fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared—truly the best catering I’ve ever had. All of my offices rave about it and look forward to every order. I can’t recommend Sweet Allie B’s enough! They’re also fantastic for dining in! The atmosphere is so welcoming, and everything tastes just as amazing in the restaurant as it does catered. Plus, they’re a brewery, so you can enjoy incredible food with a great craft beer or a mimosa after soccer games—it doesn’t get better than that.

This place is a hidden treasure, laid back great food and specialty beer if that's your thing. The sandwiches are so good and the soups are a little taste homemade goodness. Try this place if you want to meet up with friends and have a great conversation without having to yell at one another over the music or TVs.

Just had their Steak Sandwich special - was one of the best Steak Sandwiches I have had. Such a great place, with good people and good food. Can’t wait to give them all 5 stars when their renovation is finished. (It can get stacked and loud in there right now.) They offer continuous variety and great beers on top of everything else.
Keagan L — Google review
Monday lunch did not disappoint. Food and service were on point. Ordered the Wichita Cheese Steak sandwich and the chopped Italian salad and two of us shared. Sandwich was tasty, cheese to meat ratio was great and the homemade bbq sauce brought a nice twist without overpowering. The salad was very good, so hungry forgot to take photos and we were in kind of a hurry. Sweet Allie B’s is always a great choice.
Joni M — Google review
I loved this place. They are only open until 2pm so dinner is a no go. But they have all kinds of sandwiches. They don't have Wide variety of beer but the ones that have are pretty good. The decor is awesome and they play some pretty good movies there.

Bricktown Brewery is a lively brewpub chain located in Wichita, Kansas, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant is known for its hearty American cuisine, including burgers and pizza, as well as its handcrafted beers. With a diverse selection of brews ranging from wheat beers to stouts, there's something for every beer enthusiast. In addition to their delicious food and drinks, the staff are knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions such as celiac disease.
There was about a 30 minute wait on a Friday night at 6pm without a reservation. Was well worth it. The food was very good. I really liked the chicken fried steak. It had just the right amount of gravy. Some places put way too much and all you’re doing is drinking gravy. It was crispy and tender.
Dan W — Google review
I was in town for a meeting, and a local friend recommended this restaurant to me, even pointing out a few dishes and drinks worth trying. I arrived around 4 pm on a weekday and was seated immediately with no wait. The interior is spacious yet cozy, giving off the relaxed vibe of a bar-style restaurant. Food and Drinks: Blueberry Ale – A local draft served with fresh blueberries. Crisp, light, and refreshing, with just the right balance of fruitiness and sweetness. Unique, fun, and very enjoyable. Meatloaf and Chicken Tenders – A house specialty made from the owner’s grandmother’s recipe. - Chicken Tenders: Juicy and tender inside, coated with a perfectly crispy batter. The honey mustard dipping sauce complemented them beautifully. - Meatloaf: Well-seasoned and flavorful, tender yet hearty with excellent texture. The red sauce provided a nice balance of salty and sweet that worked perfectly with the savory meat. - Sides: Creamy mashed potatoes with white gravy were smooth and comforting, while the fried onions added a satisfying crunch and extra depth of flavor. Overall, this was an excellent early dinner. The food was well-prepared, the drinks were memorable, and the atmosphere was inviting. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food and drinks in a relaxed setting. I’ll be sure to return on my next visit to the city.

Cheese Curds!!!!!! Are the best I've had, hot and melt in your mouth!!!! Don't sleep on these. I had chicken fried steak and she had turkey/Guacamole Melt sandwich. Only thing I wish was different... needed brown gravy on chicken fried steak.

First time trying Bricktown, if you haven't been there yet, ya definitely need to go check it out! Burger is now my #2 favorite burger ever - such great juicy flavor😋, hot chicken sliders were delicious, elote chicken dip is a gotta have it, and the sweet potato fries with spicy carmel are the perfect side!!
Craig C — Google review
My husband and I stopped by the West Wichita location last night for dinner. Everything tasted amazing! We ended up having a good amount of leftovers. I ordered the chicken sandwich with spicy mayo and slaw, and when I got home I removed the slaw to reheat the chicken. I found a large piece of plastic in the slaw. I just wanted to make sure this was pointed out so it doesn’t happen to someone else, thankfully I noticed before I ate it.
Rebekah K — Google review
The food and service at Bricktown is fantastic. Unique meal options, large selection of beer on tap, fast and friendly service. The place is usually packed but the wait never seems to be more than 20 minutes. Great place for kids to eat

I had the kickin chicken sandwich with fried okra, and it was delicious! Very filling and reasonably priced for what you get. I tried some honey ginger (i think?) sauce that they had on the side and it was delightful. However, the fries were sub-par.

The brewery has three locations with laid-back taprooms that offer a welcoming environment for gatherings with friends or family. first time here. Tested the pepperoni pizza. Tasty sauce, a bit on the sweet side. Crispy crust with slight garlic taste. Plenty of stringy cheese. Yum. Great environment, music not too loud so conversation easy to have. Beer (8-bit) was very good. Passed on the saison. Server Molly was very good at her job.

Stopped in for dinner and had a great overall experience. Service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast. The beer was also top-notch, definitely a highlight of the visit. We ordered pizza and pretzel bites. The pretzel bites were solid, especially if you like bold garlic flavor (the garlic ones might be a bit much for some). The pizza was decent, but after surviving the pizza drought in Chattanooga, I was hoping for something a bit more impressive. Still, it wasn’t bad—just didn’t quite hit the mark. Would definitely return for the beer and service alone. It’s a solid brewpub and a great spot to hang out.

Went to WBC for dinner, in the mood for woodfired pizza. Had the Stuffed Mushroom appetizer, super delicious! Got the small order for 2 of us and it was 6 button mushrooms, more than enough for 2 of us!) We each ordered a pizza, one was the Sweet Heat Carnivore and the other was the Classic Marguerite (spelling is wrong I know, but it’s the mozzarella, tomatoes and balsamic). The crusts were amazing , crunchy on the edges, what a great pizza! The service: Leah was our server. She was great from start to finish! My girl had never been there, so we needed a few minutes on the menu. She got our appetizer going, and drinks. Came back, got our dinner order and refilled our drinks. Brought out extra plates for our pizzas too! She was so pleasant and asked twice how everything was! I own my own business, so props to the manager on duty tonight! I watched your staff very closely for the hour we were there. They never sat, I never saw a cell phone in their hands, and all of the ladies working were very attentive to their tables. Great experience, great food, great staff!!!
Mike B — Google review
I really hate making bad reviews especially for a local restaurant but the pizza was horrible. We got two separate kinds and although the dad joke was a little better, the taco pizza was disgusting. It was basically a layer of taco seasoning on a cracker bread with burnt ground beef and a couple pieces of lettuce with squeeze cheese. I’ve never ate taco pizza this bad.
Loretta B — Google review
Great atmosphere and really friendly service. Breweries generally have great food, and this one lives up to that reputation. My dining mate and I were there for lunch, so we stuck to the lighter fare, pizza, an Italian sub, a beer sampling, and one of their signature cocktails. Overall, I would definitely go back, especially to sample their dinner offerings, and of course, more beer. DISCLAIMER, before I start; I am a 2nd generation Italian American who grew up in Boston, have traveled extensively, and have lived all over the world. So my experience will be filtered differently that others. That said, bottom line up front, lunch was delicious and I would order the same of everything again. The sandwich came with a side, and for a small up-charge we were able to elevate that to an appetizer, which we did, and chose the Italian meatballs with marinara sauce sprinkled with dried Parmesan cheese. I really liked the meatballs. They were flavorful and tender. The sauce was good, although just a tad sweet for me, but again, probably preferable to the majority of diners based on American taste preferences. I had the grinder and my tablemate had the pizza. I ordered the grinder grilled, which wasn't standard, but they cheerfully accommodated me, and for me it made all the difference. The cold cuts were plentiful and fresh, and everything was prepared with the right amount of proportions. What I look for in an Italian grinder is the proportions of meat, cheese, and seasonings. There's a creamy tanginess I look for, off set with oregano (which was ready on the table as an offered seasoning), which this had. The bread was fresh and the grilling made it a little crisper, which honestly saved this sandwich. The only thing that would elevate this grinder would be to serve a bread with a harder crust, that offered a crispy crunch when biting into it. If this were an Italian sub shop or pizza shop, this review would have gone very differently, but it isn't, it's for a great restaurant where this is only a small example of the menu. My tablemate ordered the pizza. They offer a large variety of pizza options, and we got a pepperoni. I didn't eat a slice, but I did try some of the crust. My lunch mate really enjoyed the pizza. The crust was thin, almost like Flatbread and had a nice texture, was cooked well, and the sauce and cheese seemed fine with the same sweetness on the sauce which worked much better on the pizza for me. The beer flight was all beers from their brewery, and were all great - I chose two IPAs and two wheats - I would certainly order any of them as a full 16oz serving.

Ordered the grilled cheese pizza. American cheese between crust the pepperoni pizza on top. It was supposed to be served with tomato bisque. The ran out of the tomato bisque and didn't bother to say anything until the pizza came out. American cheese on pizza taste odd, the tomato probably would have helped, I was hoping for close to a grilled cheese with tomato soup thing. The manager was to busy talking to people at the bar to actually come over and address the issue. They took the lazy route and took the pizza off the ticket. I had plans after dinner, if they would have told me when I ordered then I could have changed my order. The beer was flat. I'm not going back.

this is in regard to Friday October 3rd 2025. I'm a delivery driver and the service I received for picking up an order was actually horrendous. the entire female foh stuff gave me attitude and excuses for their actions. they gave me the incorrect order after confirming it was the right one. after realizing it was the incorrect order I turned back to the restaurant. when I went back to exchange my orders because they gave me the incorrect one I was given eye rolls and the correct order shoved into my hands. when I tried to explain the situation of what was going on and that they needed to coach their staff on better manners I just received excuses

The food was delicious!! Our appetizer came out the same time our pizzas did after waiting about at least 15 minutes. We ordered a Caprese salad as an appetizer and the Real Dill pizza and Around the Horn.

Aero Plains Brewing is a unique brewery located in Wichita, known for its aviation-themed taproom and outdoor patio. The taproom features an eclectic mix of art, string lights, and a bar made from the wing of a Beech Model 18 aircraft. The brewery pays homage to Wichita's rich aviation history by naming their beers after cowboys and aviator-type characters. Visitors can enjoy beer tasting flights and purchase bottles to go.
This place was EXACTLY what I was looking for for a date night with the hubs! Can't get any better than cornhole, real darts, shuffle board, board games, and a great atmosphere! Staff was very knowledgeable, friendly, and fast! Facility was clean and spacious. They even had a band in the back Saturday which we weren't expecting. Ordered a pretzel and it was probably one of the best I've had! Food truck outside was great as well. Even bought beer to take back to KC. Could use better darts but will definitely be returning when we head back to Wichita!

Great ownership! Truly passionate to making good beer and providing great service! Love the decor and how it has local Wichita influences! Great place to enjoy food trucks and great beer!

Beers have solid flavor, varied selection. Chill spot off the beaten path. I would definitely recommend if you're in Wichita.

This place is amazing... if you want tasty super delicious beer this is your spot. Prices are awesome and quality is superb. I'm in California and sad that I can't drink this as much as I would like... I have to wait until I come back to Wichita... hopefully this brewery keeps growing and one day I can sip some of these brews in my backyard in California. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS!!!

Cool spot in Delano w/ solid craftbeer offerings. Cornhole & cigar friendly on the big patio. Staff is nice, Lance the owner will frequently check in & make sure things are going well. One of the newer breweries in town, still playing with new recipes trying to find their place. They tend to offer many styles of beer to please the palettes of all. Usually a food truck hanging out as well. A cool place in Wichita, worth checking out!

I really enjoy the tart ale! The shuffleboard, jenga and cornhole are fun activities. Frequently they have live music. Often they have food trucks onsite or you can bring/order in your own food. I appreciate that they are dog friendly.

My favorite of the local brewery selections. Beer is fantastic and the atmosphere is clean and friendly. Lance and Ryan are great guys. Bingos IPA is the most legit local IPA hands down.

I usually start my reviews with comments about the beer or food, but at this place the best thing is the staff and service. Very friendly and attentive, even to the point of asking our names and introducing themselves by their names. But the beer is also very good. The Aero Plains Pale Ale was floral and delicious without being very bitter. They don't have a lot of food available but they have some appetizers, and the soft pretzel was really good!

Hank Is Wiser Brewery, located just outside of Wichita in Cheney, is a family-owned establishment that prioritizes quality in every batch they brew. Their craft beers like Wiseman Wheat and Eh! are worth the trip. The brewery offers a cozy and rustic atmosphere, making it a great spot for enjoying craft brews and domestic beers with friends and family. Visitors can also enjoy amenities such as pool tables, shuffleboard, and an outdoor patio for a more relaxed setting.
Made a first time visit recently and was pleasantly surprised. We had a light dinner being a rack of ribs sauce and potato salad. Omg so very good. The tap ""visitor beer selection"" was much better then anticipated all though I did not try any as We sampled there brewery beer and I had two pours which are $5.50 and 12 ounce glass there porter and brown. Thee wife had a pint of something she really liked I think was a flavored pale ale. They have two good Condition pool tables which ARE FREE. Since it was early we were able to enjoy 5 games and I lost 3 to 2 . SO-- anyhow if live in the Wichita area make a visit you will enjoy the vibe- food and beer. Open only FRIDAY AND SATURDAY STARTING AT 5.30 PM.

Really good BBQ. Ribs, hot-links, and pulled pork. Best I've had in Kansas. Then, let's talk about the beer. I've only tried the Porter Potty Porter, but it was outstanding. I may have found my "local" hangout... Ok, why not 5*? They ought to have beans to go with the great BBQ and I got the "Hot" sauce, which was much more sweet than hot. I prefer a tangier sauce.
Randy R — Google review
Love these people and this place. Truly a home "cheers" feel. RSVP for BBQ ribs or sandwich on Friday and Saturday to make sure you get a plate! They can run out fast. Great adult game room with pool table, shuffle board, etc. Worth the drive for those out of town. Beer selection can be seasonal, for what they brew, but always can find a new brew to try that I love.
Amy B — Google review
Wonderful beer decor, you can tell the owner is a real connoisseur. Their ribs are wonderful, but make sure you get there early for them. They have decent stuff on tap, but their in-house selection has been pretty lackluster recently. Probably catering to a local crowd used to bud lite (ick!). They only accept cash, so make sure you have some!
Michael P — Google review
A great place with great people and great beer. I hope they can continue to come back and return to full service after the covid shutdown. They are currently serving great bets from other small breweries until their own bread are ready again. Give them your business to help them come back. You will enjoy your experience there.

A cozy, friendly, and rustic atmosphere. Great spot for a quieter, more relaxed setting for watching the game and knocking back a few craft brews as well as domestic beers with family and friends. Pool tables, Shuffleboard, and an outdoor patio allows for smoking and enjoying cocktails in a covered area round out the amenities of this bar. Definitely worth a visit!

Nestled in the heart of town, West Street Burgers is a charming throwback to the classic burger joints of the 60s and 70s. With just a few cozy tables and a bar ledge for those who prefer to savor their meals fresh off the grill, this spot offers both dine-in and speedy drive-through options. The highlight here is undoubtedly their onion rings, which have garnered rave reviews from patrons.
Nice little burger joint, the edges of the burger were crispy while the center was soft and juicy. The bun was well toasted, although my burger was very greasy which saturated the bun making it soggy after a few minutes. They seemed to be busy so I suspect that contributed to how greasy the burger was, that being said, I did not dislike it, but it would have made the experience a little better if it wasn't so greasy. The chicken nuggets were very crispy and juicy and the spicy ranch had the right amount of heat to make it great. Unfortunately the tots were nothing special and had a bit of a burnt flavor, they do have hand made chips and fries, I would try them. I would love to give this place a second visit, hopefully the burger won't be as greasy.

Absolutely Love the food and the atmosphere! Food was warm- fresh and yummy! Very affordable- 5 of us ate til we were stuffed- for about 50 dollars. The staff were amazing! Even took the time to take a picture for us! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

LOVED IT!! Delicious griddle cooked burgers and amazing Hand cut french fries. All around great value with wonderful friendly service in a vintage little restaurant. I'm going to make sure I visit whenever I'm passing through Wichita!!

This is the type of burger joint that was in every town back in the early 60's and 70's before the "real" rise of the giant chains. It has 3 small tables and a bar ledge for those that want to eat their food fresh and hot. Otherwise they have a fast moving drive through. We went there because the reviewers wrote that the onion rings were the best. They were correct!! The burgers were "smash" type, grilled onions and American cheese, and just right. So was the price. Give them a try. I'll be back, if not for just the onion rings. Oh yeah, I want to try their Pork tenderloin sandwich next time.

Oh my goodness, you wanna talk about fast service and genuine food. This is the place! A lot of places make me sick due to processed foods and I can eat this all day and have no issues! And to top it off.The staff is top-notch.They are such wonderful happy bubbly people, that will cater to whatever special request you have.It doesn't matter , they will make it happen. They put a lot of care into their job.I've seen them do something. You don't see very often anymore. And that's remember people's orders! It's an old School burger joint vibe! I highly recommend to anybody visiting wichita , or even anyone currently living here , that hasn't tried it! It will not disappoint!

Lifelong Wichitan. I have drove by this place at least 200 times on the way to work. Last time the wife and I were at Oasis we were disappointed so we tried WSB.. Wow!! This burger place is delicious and has great pricing. Customer service is always fantastic and welcoming. My only complaint is my side of sauce that has to be PAID for has been missing in my bag a few times and I'm only mentioning it because I was charged for it. In the heart of downtown Wichita, you'll find Tor Brewing among a diverse array of dining and entertainment options. This brewery stands out for its tor-iffic smash burger, which has gained quite a reputation. The location next to Intrust Bank Arena adds to the cool atmosphere, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. With great staff and delicious brews, Tor Brewing offers an alluring experience for those looking to savor quality food and drinks in Wichita's vibrant downtown scene.
We decided to try Tor Brewing after someone posted they are empty quite often. When we went for lunch there was only one other table, but it should be packed. I’ll put this as my 2nd favorite burger in Wichita. I didn’t expect that! I had the original and the flavor was incredible and the fries were not a 2nd thought, they were good enough I would go just for the fries and the side of spicy ranch, made there. Loved the atmosphere as well and cannot wait to come again when we have more time to drink and play some board games!

We have been coming here for a while-- but we're surprised to come in and find out fries were no longer included with the burger. We used to pay $10 for a burger and fries and could add on a patty for extra. But now no fries come with the $12 burger (which now has more meat included and is a lot more filling) you have to pay an additional $8 for fries. Excellent food, fries are nice and crispy and fry sauce is good.

Over all 4.5/5 Smash burgers are some of the best, if not the best, in Wichita! My new favorite burger spot! Food 4.5/5 : Buns could be toasted more. Mine was a little to raw, but the flavor and seasoning on my burger made up for it. Cajun fries and the Mac n cheese were delicious 😋 Atmosphere 4/5: nice old town brick yard feel. This is a "order food/drinks at the bar and sit down" type of place. Ventilation/ fans could be better. Service was good. My order: Oklahoma burger, add jalapeño; OG smash burger; side of Cajun fries and Mac n Cheese

Had the original smash burger. It was really good. I have never seen fries cut like that before but they were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The ranch and the fry sauce were delicious. The ranch has a kick to it which I like.

I tried their breakfast smash burger, the Hong Kong French Toast, and biscuits and gravy. The burger was probably the best burger I've had in years and the biscuits and gravy are likely the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had (and I try them at every place I can). Absolutely phenomenal and I hope to catch their brunch menu next time I can.

Haven't been in for 3yrs. 1st time was just ok. But I got off work late and wanted something besides fast food. Service was not good. The bartender was not friendly and engaging like you would expect from a bartender. I gave her a good tip only bc I'm a bartender myself. As for the food, as you can see in the pic, the chicken was very dark and dry, fry portion was weak, one little sliver of lettuce and barely any sauce. The only saving grace was the coleslaw which she forgot to put in bag and I had to wait around and ask for it. All this for $16 plus the $4 undeserved tip I gave. Very doubtful I'll ever go back

We came here for dinner. Seated quick. Place was not that busy. Tanija was our server. She did a great job from beginning to end. We ordered the steak and ribs combo , soup in bread bowl and side of fries . Steak was cooked well, ribs was ok and so were the sides. Soup was ok but bread was a bit tough. Overall ok and standard for a chain restaurant but Tanija was awesome.

We like this place for a quick bite! The garlic knots aren’t on the menu but they still have them and the piezookie trio is the absolute best!!

Had the kids and was wanting a decent old fashioned and something for the kids to eat. Ordered an old fashioned and the ribeye for myself. The ribeye was the worst cut I've ever ordered anywhere. Full of gristle and thin as paper. Atrocious. The old fashioned was mediocre at best. The kids chicken strips are frozen and flavorless. This is exactly why I tend to avoid chain restaurants. Support local because they'll make it right. The service was good. Waitress was great. The food is not worth anywhere near what they charge. And it looks like all they'll do is reply to a review and refuse to make it right. Another reason to avoid chain restaurants.

Arrived at 6 pm. There were 5 of us. I ordered the special 2 bone in pork chops. (The last 3 times i visited they had sold out so we arrived earlier than the last). Guess what? They were sold out by 6pm. The Saturday night special was sold out. I changed my order to the prime rib special. The rest of my family placed their order of soup and salads and chicken pasta. About 10 minutes later the waitress brought out my prime rib and my granddaughters chicken pasta. Now I may be old fashioned but I prefer my salad prior to my entree. I asked the waitress about my salad and she said "you haven't gotten your salad yet?" No, I replied. She said " we can put your prime rib back in the kitchen and I'll bring you a salad". I said forget the salad, I prefer my prime rib medium rare and I could imagine getting in back after I she brought me a salad and I ate it. So, I also ordered a loaded potato, I received a "dry" potato. Again I hollered at the waitress and asked about the potato trimmings. Oh, by the way probably 10 minutes had gone by since my granddaughter and I received our plates and my wife, daughter and son in law had not gotten their soup and salads! I flagged down the manager, he said he'd check on our order. He never came back. About 3-4 minutes later the waitress came with the rest of our meal. I could go on and on about my visit but i think I've said enough. What a circus! Needless to say I will not be returning to BJ's ever again! Management and common sense does not exist at this location! DO NOT GO HERE EXPECTING THE PORK CHOP SPECIAL, IT WILL BE SOLD OUT BEFORE 6PM
Tim T — Google review
Ordered a burger with bbq sauce the tray the brought it out in was so dirty. I told my waiter and he just threw it away and asked if I wanted another. No I don’t trust the kitchen. The manager comes out with a attitude and didn’t address it and I had to talk to him from where I was sitting telling him yours not going to find out why you have to take that off my ticket. He approaches saying what’s wrong. You are the problem sir. Ask your customer what was wrong. He then apologized and said he would talk to kitchen staff. I will not return. Only when I leave Wichita will I dine at BJ’s also the bartender was not friendly at all. Husband asked what’s a good drink. His response was I only drink beer
Hope H — Google review
I want to start by saying that BJ’s food was actually pretty good, but unfortunately the overall experience was brought down by the service we received. Our server had an attitude from the start she didn’t greet us warmly and was inconsistent throughout the entire visit. It wasn’t a busy night, yet she failed to check on us regularly, and it felt like she didn’t want to be there. At one point, she disappeared for quite a while, which we assumed meant she was in the back handling other things, but again, it wasn’t busy there was no excuse for that level of inattentiveness. When she finally brought our food, she still had an attitude, and her energy remained negative for the rest of the evening. To make things worse, one of our guests who had a baby ended up receiving food that was extremely hot. Without proper warning or assistance from the server, the baby accidentally touched it and burned herself. That alone was deeply upsetting. We attempted to raise concerns, but we’re unsure if any follow-up from management will even happen. Overall, this ruined what should have been a great dinner. The food may have been decent, but the attitude, lack of professionalism, and inconsistency brought the entire experience down to a solid negative three. Completely unacceptable.

I came here black in June and forgot to leave a review. I came for my birthday!!! I'm sad to see all of the negative reviews because this place truly is a great spot! The food was amazing like so good and the staff were very kind. They brought out a sparkler with the dessert for my birthday and that was pretty cool!!! Really great vibes too and overall great environment! We did have to walk a ways away from the restaurant but it's also what's considered downtown so not all that surprising and riverfest was going on so it made since. If your thinking about trying it definitely do!!! Would be a great date night spot!

This is a very nice, even elegant, looking Italian restaurant in the Ambassador Hotel that specializes in a few less common pasta dishes and FDA choice steaks. Had a great time at the Anchor. It's been awhile since we've been here and it looks great. The food was served quickly and tasted great. I ordered the stuffed olives and didn't get as many as I would for the price. Olives were delicious, but price point was too high for me.

It's a nicely styled urbanistic bar-cafe in an urban part of the town. The interior is really cool, with a slightly pirate theme that grows into rock vibes. They have a crazy amount of beer on tap, something like 50 when we were there. So there's things to explore 🍻They don't have hot beverages which was frustrating on a cold night we went there. Not many stuffs to please a vegetarian, but thei mushroom daze (pasta with grilled mushrooms and creamy-cheesy sauce) hit the spot perfectly.

Decided to come here since the renovation, did not care for how dark it was. Needs more lighting and some booths would've been nice. The service was not great our server was friendly but it would take 15 to 20 minutes to get our drinks and my dirty martini came out warm. The food was pretty good I enjoyed my Dos tacos, the meat was seasoned perfectly. However the house macaroni and cheese did not have enough cheese to noodle ratio and it was extremely bland in flavor.

Food was very good, the only change I would make is on the sweet potato fries. They were bland but adding salt made them good. The Buffalo Mac & Cheese took a while to make but it was very worth it! Would definitely recommend this nice place!

I got the Fat Kid. A bacon cheeseburger essentially. Fresh well cooked meat. Fresh toppings though I didn't use them, and soft bun. Amazing house ranch too. We had fried okra as an appetizer. They were whole fried which was surprising. Being whole, okra is a bit slimy on the inside just FYI. Great breading and cook on that. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. Makes you want to come back!

You haven't seen The Anchor yet. Newly reopened and very well done. Plenty of beer and spirits to select from, I had the Wizard of Hopps, and a great gastropub menu to select from. The Anchor has been closed for renovations for about a year, and my friends and I have been frequenting their baby sister across town, Rail Hoppers. Now that I've seen the original, there's no going back. The Anchor is a great spot, excellent ambiance, cool music playing in the background, and lots to keep your eyes busy while enjoying fresh food and tasty beer on tap. The only thing that could make this experience better would be to bring back the Onion Soup Onion Rings. Honestly, it was a slip up discontinuity them. Do the right thing and bring them back, quick. It starts with crispy onion rings, then toss them with slaty marinated onions from a French onion soup (use the broth from the soup for the French Dip sandwiches that are already on the menu), then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, pop under the broiler for 30 seconds, lightly salt, and serve hot. These O-rings will be worth driving across town for, believe me. Don't delay, bring them back today!! See you there 👍

First of I would like say, whenever I passed by this place never gave it much thought because I thought it was a Tattoo place lol Well with the big red Anchor and a tattoo place close by I'm sure I'm not the only one just figured it was all connected. With that said went and talked to a wonderful waitress about what hamburger is good on the menu and let me tell you she was dead on. The hamburgers we both ordered were so delicious and the Jalapeno and cream cheese on top of mine was to die for 😋 My only complaint about this place is wish I would of discovered it sooner. Dempsey's Burger Pub is a warm tavern setting with a patio that offers gourmet burgers made with Kobe beef, fish, chicken or veggies. The pub features creative burger options such as the Gouda Life burger special and the Bleu Burger, both offering unique flavor combinations. Despite its no-frills exterior, Dempsey's Burger Pub surprises visitors with its rotating selection of burgers, including the popular Thai peanut butter burger made with espresso from a local roastery.
I’m new to the area and was looking for a good burger. I saw this place had decent reviews and the photos of the food looked really good. Not to mention they have a pretty great drink selection. I came in with the expectation that the food would be OK but had to try for myself. My expectations were greatly exceeded. The burger selection ranged from a regular to craft burgers with ingredients sourced locally. All these 4 star reviews should be 5 stars. The staff is helpful and will accommodate you well even if there is an honest mistake. Their service recovery is top tier. Would highly recommend for everyone to go.

House burger was excellent cooked as ordered. Truffle fries were really good as well as the dipping sauces that came with them. Food was slow coming out, as we were the only ones there at 3:30 pm. Server was pleasant and kept checking in.

It was fine. It just wasn't stellar... not enough to keep me wanting more. It's only small things, though, so I don't want to sound like I'm being overly critical. For instance, the tomato was missing from my El Pollo Verde, and the avocado mash had oxidized (was brown). Our server was mediocre: friendly, but not that attentive. The fries were great but seemed to get hard and cold rather quickly. We were seated in the basement, which I believe is their "Pub" area, and it just didn't share the same vibe as the rest of Clifton Square (it was a beautiful evening, so the whole area was buzzing). The food was good, even though I had to add a little salt to my sandwich to give the flavors a bit more cohesion. The pretzel sticks were amazing, but the beer cheese wasn't very good after it had cooled. Overall, I just feel like it was a bit of a missed opportunity to "wow" a first-timer such as myself.

Dempsey’s Burger Pub blew me away! The Bourbon Apple Brie burger with candied apples, creamy brie, microgreens, bacon, and garlic aioli was a perfect mix of flavors. The truffle fries were out of this world—the aroma alone had me hooked, and every bite lived up to the hype. My drink was spot on, the atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. Honestly, this place nails it on all fronts—food, vibes, and service. A must-visit!

Took 40 mins to get food. First time fries were cold and hard so asked for another basket the second one came 15 mins later also hard but at least hot this time. Also the inside and the outside smells awful and is full of flies. Despite all of this the waitress was very nice I’m guessing the kitchen is struggling in the back.

I dined here Labor Day. I ordered the fish and chips and it was ok. The kitchen seemed to be chronically backed up because it took 45 mins to an hour to get our food and the fries were room temperature. I’m not mad, just stating the facts. I think they probably had a bad day, I’ve eaten here several times and it’s always been a positive experience.

My husband & I stopped in for date night while working out of town. It was very busy and there was no seating, but we were still able to get a table in less than 5 minutes. The service was great and my husband really enjoyed the Octoberfest beer selections. The burgers were so good! I got the bacon mushroom swiss and my husband got a bacon burger. They were cooked to perfection! The fries were very good as well. The atmosphere was really cool and relaxed. I highly recommend Dempsey’s and will visit again.

We went on a weekend night, and it was half full. It took 40mins to get our 2 burgers and truffle fries. The burgers were good and juicy, especially the wagyu burger. However, the truffle fries were very overcooked, hard, and chewy. We couldn’t even finish half of it. Also, the server seemed busy and not really attentive as she never checked on us while we were eating and gave us the bill in the middle of the meal. It felt like she just wanted us to finish eating fast and leave. The atmosphere was good and loud, which is expected for a pub.

The Monarch is a trendy New American eatery located in the historic Delano District. Its industrial-chic design features exposed brick, leather booths, and a unique chandelier made from old bicycle parts. The menu offers casual dining options such as salads, sandwiches like hickory-smoked BBQ pork on ciabatta, and appetizers including peppadew hummus with naan bread.
Fun atmosphere and quick service. We sat at the bar to have appetizers and drinks. Excellent selection and fresh food. Staff were friendly and efficient and our food came out quick, even though it was a busy time of day. We had fun looking at all the decor and loved that there was a large parking lot next to it. We enjoyed our fried green beans, stuffed mushroom caps, and Italian salad. Don’t forget to try their in-house made limoncello!

Passing through town and our local friends recommended this place. Had dinner around 8pm and things were great until one of the workers opened the garage door next to our table. It was still 89F and felt like 94F according to my weather app. As soon as the door was rolled up, we felt the hot air rushed inside. If we wanted the heat, we would’ve sit outside, but no, we opted for a cool eating experience. On top of the heat, flies were all over our food/ straws and we just stopped eating at this point. The manager did come by to talk to us and said the owner likes the garage door opened between 8-9. Perhaps the owner tolerates the heat and doesn’t mind flies over the food, but we do. The manager did take a few dollars off our bill.

Great stop on the drive through. We only tried the food, but were happy with our plates. The house made potato chips were a bit too crunchy for our liking, but the sandwiches were purchased were delicious and plentiful. It looked like portions were great for each meal. Staff was kind and helpful.

I ordered the Buffalo Mac and Cheese and my spouse ordered a flat bread pizza. The max and cheese was so good and the pizza was fine but I likely wouldn’t order it again. We also ordered a spinach artichoke dip and it was good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Monarch – 579 W Douglas Ave, Wichita, KS What can I say — the service was top-notch. Our waitress was amazing: professional, gracious, and had a smile that could light up the place. There’s something about her poise and elegance that made the whole meal even better. I went with the Cuban sandwich, and let me tell you, it was hearty. I couldn’t even finish it — and that’s saying something because I’m a big man with a healthy appetite. Flavor was bold, balanced, and worth every bite. If you’re in Wichita and want great food with even better service, The Monarch’s your spot.

We were in town for the weekend and we came here three times. That's how amazing it was. The food was so delectable. Highly recommend the barbecue burnt ends mac and cheese. Also, it's an amazing whiskey bar with such an awesome whiskey! Really likes the sour beer. Huge shout out to the awesome staff especially Kenzie, Grant, Chase, and June. I'm sure all the staff is amazing, but those are the poor that we interacted with the most while we were in and out throughout the weekend.

The Monarch is one of my favorite local places and The Wilbur is my favorite sandwich! The jalapeño jelly adds just the right sweet/hot to the sandwich. The Broccoli salad has a delicious dressing and the house made chips are a must have. You’ll find a unique atmosphere with lots of art, a beautiful bar, perfect patio, and a pool table

The restaurant offers a mix of indoor and outdoor seating, surrounded by the charming brick-lined streets of the entertainment district. With over 50 big-screen TVs and 10 projectors, it's an ideal spot to catch live sports games.
This is such a cute place! The food was amazing and the wait staff was so attentive and sweet. We split the black and blue burger and it was delicious! They split and plated the food for us in the kitchen. The waffle fries were so good! We also tried their Unleaded Ale and loved it! The prices are really good as well. Our bill was less than $15 before tip. I highly recommend trying this out. It does look like it could get pretty busy in the evenings and on weekends but we went around 11 and there was no crowd.

Pretty big venue. Indoor and outdoor seating. My wrap was good. Fries were great. We closed out but sat around and chatted for a bit and the waitress never once offered anymore water refills even after our cups were bone dry. We were one of two groups in the mostly vacant section so it’s not like we were preventing others from dining.

What a jem. Ty took care of our party, and was awesome! I am only in town briefly, but went there 3 times this week. Drinks were proper, burger was outstanding, and lots of seating choices that varried quite a bit. Outside, inside, and even some areas that felt like both. Modern design blended well with antique decor. I wish there was one in my town. I highly recommend The Pumphouse.
M P — Google review
As the name implies, this place is themed for the auto minded with drinks named after fuel, and a general aesthetic of an old service pump station. Surprised where our app took 2 mins and behind that our burger and sandwich followed. The Cuban was still dripping the grease from it being cooked, slight need of more mustard for my taste, but so great of one reminding me of nights out in Miami clubs. The Black and Bleu burger also great and balanced on flavor all around, no additions needed. Beyond the food alone it is obvious given we came for a Sunday lunch that this is clearly built as well for Friday and Saturday drink nights

Guests can also indulge in a full bar experience alongside a diverse beer selection and tableside cigar service. The atmosphere is enhanced by live music performances that rotate regularly, creating an inviting ambiance perfect for unwinding after a long day.
This place should have a full 5 stars. Myself and 3 friends waited a little bit to get in (it's a popular place). I have to say, it was well worth the wait. Live music was playing and it was good. The bartenders were attentive and quick to get us drinks. The drinks were mixed on point! They have a very large menu of drinks. The pink lady is alright but my fave here was the Mother Pucker. I'd definitely come back again.

Great bar! We were on our USA road trip (Texas-Oklahoma-Kansas-Colorado) in May 2023 (unfortunately only) one day in Wichita - a great city with lovely people - and ended up in the evening at Mort's - probably by a happy coincidence, because we heard the band play and then wanted to have a look. It was an unforgettable evening: Great music, the band was intoxicating, we got into conversation with the nicest people, there was delicious cold beer, good white wine and we had a great (!) time. The "Share the table" is really great. The waiters were quick and super friendly, best thanks to Emma Johnson and her team! So in short: An excellent location, great recommendation! Sunny greatings from Germany :) Karsten + Anja

One of the strangest bars I've ever been to, and wonderful in its oddities. A small inside and a small patio packed with tables for live music where smoking isn't just allowed, it's the purpose. One of the biggest drink menus I've ever seen. I absolutely recommend this bar for anyone who's willing to wait for a cocktail where the vibe is more important than the food they serve.

No food, service was okay, definitely been there a couple times and this time was probably the slowest service, staff is friendly and nice. Atmosphere is what I go for. Just a chill place to smoke cigars and cigarettes outside and hang out. Took my dog, they even got him his own water bowl ❤️

Every other staff member other than Sean the bouncer was nice. I’ve been here a few times and he is the rudest, coldest, most inhospitable person I have ever met working at a bar. Does he know he’s supposed to smile as people walk in and pay money? Does he know that this establishment is what pays his bills?

No food (other than popcorn?) as far as I could tell. Nothing on tap. Came when it was extremely quiet but the bartender didn’t ever leave the bar to ask if we wanted any drinks. Too busy talking to a friend at the bar. Walked over to the bar to order drinks and was rudely told to come to a different part of the bar right next to where her friend was standing. Never been told I can’t order from a different part of the bar before. I was even standing next to a cash register!

Im not sure why bingo and the title XY [DNA labels] go together. But the two times ive seen it hopping.. they were doing a [MF] bingo. Dont bring little kids, the bingo caller has a book of restricted words and he is having fun using them all. Esp MF. Im not comfortable in a booth.. all the tables i saw were HIGH and so after a few minutes i rolled my wheelchair back out. As a verifiable intersex person, i had hoped to come and listen to music with other folks like me. I did meet my best gay friends enjoying bingo and that was as good as it got. Their booth was jammed and on a platform my wheelchair couldnt pull up to. [Not an ADA problem imo .. but a personal one.] I will return sometime when its mostly music and dance ... and maybe the far side of the place will have regular height tables. And LGBTQ friends too.

Tonight I had a very unique experience at the Xy bar in oldtown Wichita.. The music was on point and the entertainment was brillantly composed with live lip sync by the LGBT community including a pageant for Ms Merry Christmas. I would have liked to have given it 5 stars, but there was little to no one asking if I would have liked another drink while enjoying the show and the preformers. Perhaps there should be more than 1 wait staff would be called for when in this bar would be good. But, overall a fantastic time.

Would have been nice to hear Tumbao at 9, as advertised. By 10, we got tired of watching a live band stand around since 8:30 while they played recorded music, so we went elsewhere. Everything else was good. Food/service/drinks. When you advertise music at 9, you should deliver in a reasonable time frame. This is why many people come. Wasting our time is rude while you wait so people can spend even more $$$ on food & drinks. If the show was free, I could understand. But you charged a cover and still made people wait. We know how this all works. Catch you next time, maybe.
Koontakentaylor — Google review
Decent venue for live music when the weather is good. Food is standard bar food, drink prices are fair but there is no wait service after 9 , you have to go to the bar to get your own drinks. Very annoying that even when they bring in bands that appeal to a more mature over 30 crowd, young people come and stand around in the middle of the dance floor, even when there are plenty other places to sit or stand. Multiple people I know stopped going to this venue because of this. Would be nice if Brickyard staff could manage this issue a little bit.
Donna — Google review
Live music was awesome, drinks were great, the atmosphere was great, the only problem was a constant barrage of a sewage smell. It was fun and after a few drinks I stopped noticing it. Definitely want to go back, hopefully the smell will be gone!

Delicious food. Bao as the appetizer and spicy fried chicken for the entrée were delicious. Hard to get internet in the dining area, to check the specials, and the wifi situation was atrocious. That was the only negative about this place.
Brambled D — Google review
Very good service first of all, our waiter was attentive without being annoying and very willing to make a special drink without it being any big deal at all. Much appreciated. The food was simple and very tasty. Not big portions necessarily but the quality made up for the smaller portions in my opinion. Thankfully the weather was nice enough for us to use the courtyard. All-around good experience.

1st time at this bar for salsa night and the assistant Manger steals $12 from the $20 I gave him for an $8 margarita... never approached me for change. Argued about me giving him a $20 claiming it was a $10 which it was not. Then had me kicked out for his actions of theft. If it was a $10 I'd still ger $2 change to choose to give it as a tip but as it wasn't he never gave the option as I watched him grab change from he till and put it right back rather then proceed to give to me as an option... shame on this establishment. Shame on the assistant manager cuz even ur account of a $10 would leave me receiving $2 to decide for a tip. So either u stole $12 (which u did) or u stole $2 with no customer option... tisk tisk and u deal with hundreds of customers

El Pollo Dorado is a hidden gem in Wichita, known for its intoxicating aroma of whole-roasted wood-smoked chicken and beef/pork tacos. This no-frills roadside stand offers a unique experience with meat sliced to order from a rotating spit and a side bar where you can fill cups with your choice of salsa, diced onions, and cilantro. The affordable prices make it feel like a mini vacation to Mexico, offering an authentic taste that's worth trying at least once.
We just discovered this place via a Facebook ad for their $1/ taco deal on Tuesdays. We weren't sure if the tacos were sized down for the taco Tuesday deal, or if that's how they always are served, but it felt fairly priced for the taco Tuesday deal, and it all tasted very fresh. We were greeted promptly, received our order quickly, and we're extremely pleased with our tacos. We intend to return for full meals soon. Just note that it's a carry out joint. Not sure if they take cards (we paid cash).

I’ve driven by here many times and been blasted in the face with that aroma from the meat that’s cooking on the grill. One can only drive by so many times before giving in and grabbing some tacos. The tacos were good and I’m glad I finally decided to give them a try! I’ll be back to grab some chicken next time. I believe you’re able to purchase a whole or half a chicken. Perhaps this weekend mmmm.

Ordered 10 beef, 10 chicken. Looks, fantastic!!! Beef was better in our opinion due to excelante’ seasoning!!! What a good deal though! Feels like you are in Mexico! It’s like a mini vacation! One of those, “Must try at least once” type of places. I’m really impressed at the way they don’t try to overdo it. Case in point the sign that they’ve turned around so that it is showing good side out to the street which says, “tacos one dollar”. The people there seem nice, they’re pretty busy. I couldn’t tell if the Sodas in the cooler were free with your purchase, I asked but we didn’t communicate so well. Mostly because I don’t speak Spanish I think. And the free condiments were running out when I was there but that’s probably because there was three people and one guy was cooking, another guy was making the meals and the lady was working the register, taking the money so they were very busy. Don’t let the scary looks from the street not being a commercial place scare you this one is worth a try! And if you found this review helpful would you please like it and share?

First time here and we tried the chicken lunch special that comes with a drink- so good and large portion couldnt even eat it all. Nice smoke ring on the chicken so flavorful and juicy. You can get different sauces, cilantro, and onions on the side. Def recommend. Update: went a second time portion sizes small and they forgot tortillas and peppers/onions..ok maybe an off experence. Go a 3rd time super small portions of chicken we got- it was so dry it was powdery and couldn't even chew it at ($13 for lunch special) Sad because we really liked this place.

I must've went on a slow night, even though it was a Saturday 🤔 There weren't many people, the music was mid, and the drinks were really watered down 💦 I ordered a Long Island and could hardly taste it. I think it's probably more lit when people actually show up. There was a DJ whose set I didn't know had started bc it sounded the same as what was already playing, so maybe not 🙃 There's also the bathroom mess 🤢 No soap and the toilet looked like someone did a #3 while just standing there in front of it 🧍‍♂️ My friends and I finished the night at X&Y where the drinks actually hit and the music is better 🌈✨

Very busy and understaffed therefore, the service suffers. However, staff is very accountable and aware. The place is clean and as efficient as possible with the amount of staff they have. Drinks are good, a little pricey for the small cups that they serve. Rooftop bar also has cornhole. I liked the space and the flow. Beautiful historic district.

My favorite nightlife spot in ICT. The rooftop is spectacular for some fresh air, a great view, and a great drink. The staff is always on point. And the more recent addition of a wall of pinball is awesome. 7 machines that are all in tip top condition and regularly serviced. Music is always solid with great DJs and live music on the roof, weather permitting.

The rooftop bar has a good view, good music with a DJ, bags and some other yard games, so a good vibe and casual atmosphere, but if you're over 25 you'll be too old for the crowd. ("Crowd" is a bit of an overstatement for Sunday night, but there was a good number of people...or, kids...there). The rooftop is pretty small, so on a nice (non-Sunday) night it probably gets pretty packed.

Always have a great time! The music is fantastic, the bartenders are great and it is well managed!

Great spot for good music.
David D — Google review
Crowded, but can't expect anything less for a Saturday night. I do wish the layout was better, hard to form lines to get drinks with the dancing poles directly in front of the bar. The bartenders are awesome! I will say the drinks are pricey, but I have no other establishment to compare the prices with, so I'm not sure if they are fairly priced for the downtown bar scene.
Kaitlyn J — Google review
Was let in the club by the first bouncer with no problem only for a second bouncer to kick me out for wearing grey sweatpants. Apparently they're gang-related and part of their new dress code that isn't written down anywhere. That place is always 1/4 as hype as XY, I guess this is why. They're too busy turning away paying customers.
Julian K — Google review
One of the best bars in Wichita. Service for drinks is always fast. The bar is always clean and clutter free. The dance poles are a good time for anyone wanting to unleash their inner stripper. Also good if you're a people watcher, because who isn't entertained by drunk women on strip poles? Good place for a game of pool. The neon artwork is cool touch also.
Heather M — Google review
Walked in the door and no bouncer in site. Started to head towards the bathroom and heard somebody yell "hey!" as it was the bouncer asking minutes later to see my ID. Anybody could've snuck in. DJ was horrible. I do not recommend this place. I see why more people choose to attend XY (bar next door).
Ajxkxkxck K — Google review
With the format change at Heroes it looks like this will be the new hot hangout in Wichita. The music here is OK. The club does feature reserved areas and bottle service. Two stripper poles in the middle of the club welcome all sorts of unexpected fun. Long wait at the bar when busy, but that's expected. Get there before 11 to avoid the line.

White Crow Cider Company, located at 1236 E Waterman St in Wichita, is a popular spot offering hard cider by the glass. Owned by Denise and Kenneth Gardner, this establishment recently opened a new tap room and brewing facility.
Best. Cider. Ever. I've had cider all over the country and this is by far my favorite. They have great customer service and a chill vibe. I cannot recommend this place enough. They have the best flavor in their ciders! Get a bite to eat tho before hand, cuz they don't serve food (winter months). They do have food trucks in warmer months!
Roush 3 — Google review
This place is always a must stop at when visiting Wichita. All of the ciders are great and it was fun to try new combinations. Gabriel was a great bartender and we are looking forward to going back! Highlight of our trip!
Hannah C — Google review
They have a nice variety of ciders on tap. They can make cocktails. No food inside but do have food trucks regularly.
Joshua C — Google review
So glad we have such an amazing cider place in town. The variety is awesome! You can’t beat the customer service easily the best in town! Quickly becoming a regular stop on our nights out!

Great atmosphere and great drinks. The employees are great and add to the atmosphere! We always come to the Taylor Swift bingo! It’s always a great time!

If you are anywhere close to the area this is a MUST!!! It’s such a chill/cozy/warm vibe. The ciders are AMAZING! Bring your family/friends they have lots of games. If you're exploring Wichita, make sure to check out The Leprechaun's Lab, a charming brewery nestled in the vibrant Old Town area. This spot may be relatively new, but it's already making waves with its delightful selection of beers and inviting atmosphere. Visitors rave about the friendly bartenders who are not only knowledgeable but also passionate about their craft.
this place is awesome. they haven't been open long but i feel they're doing amazing things. the beers are so good, i believe you'll be interested in the types and flavors. the gentlemen behind the bar were great, they showed their passion for their craft and for their customers. i planned to go elsewhere after a few pints but needed to stay and try all the intriguing flavors and enjoy the vibe.

We came for the Autism Acceptance Amber Ale and stayed for the absolutely delightful people and atmosphere. Very laid back with games and coloring pages for kids. They always have fun new drinks to try. Absolutely love coming here!
Sophia Z — Google review
Brand new place (to me) since Third Place. New owner and brewer. Beer was well-above average and service was as good as you'd want.
Scott L — Google review
I really enjoyed the vibe of this brewery. We played a few board games and enjoyed a flight of beers. The bartender was great and allowed us to try many samples to find a selection of beers that we liked.
B W — Google review
This is a cool little brewery located in the heart of Old Town. They don't have a ton of beers, not do they have a great selection of bar food, but they have a cool atmosphere and nice employees. We stopped in on a Saturday night and enjoyed some live music and a pint of solid beer. Not much more you could ask for!
Sam S — Google review
Great selection of beers. Their nitro stout is the best stout that I have ever had. Very basic and chill patio area with walk up order window. Very unpretentious and under looked in the Wichita area. A must visit for any beer lover.
Anthony L — Google review
My wife and I stopped in to this brewery for a beer. It wasn’t too crowded and it was very simple and really fun. Even though I am not a Google unlimited reviewer, the two bartenders were absolutely great and fun to talk with. The beer was good, as you would expect at a local brewery, but the real magic here is the employees. Likely not to come again because it’s a long way from my house in another city but, if you’re in Wichita stop and get a beer
Scott B — Google review
Fun brews and chill vibes. Solid beer selection that is always rotating plus unique drinks as well. Simple yet unique

Apollo Fermentations is a local gem located at the corner of Harry & Hillside, offering a delightful selection of locally fermented kombucha. The brewery also produces an array of beer styles, making it a perfect spot to unwind with friends. Customers rave about the perfectly balanced flavors and carbonation in every variety of kombucha, noting its natural taste without being overly sweet. With new batches brewed weekly using seasonal ingredients, there's always something fresh to try.
We LOVE Apollo Fermentations! Now that they have cans we can take it with us when we travel. We took some with us on the trails of Utah rock crawling and then to Arkansas to watch Totality a couple weeks later. Their kombucha is fantastic!
Mary B — Google review
Who would've known gut-healthy kombucha could be so flavor infused? The mocktails (especially the White Lotus) are incredibly tasty. In a blind taste test, you might not guess it's a culture-packed probiotic beverage. My nieces, nephews, and 14 month old daughter love it and the atmosphere has a unique, relaxed family-friendly vibe. Sidenote: It's a great way to make cocktails have a healthy factor too. 😉 Cheers!
Julie H — Google review
Sick of the gross store bought kombucha?? This kombucha is the best I've had in Kansas, by far!! The owner and staff are very sweet and informative. They brew new kombucha every week (at least) and they use ingredients that pair for each season! Check hours and their Facebook before arriving.
Katie H — Google review
So glad that Wichita finally has a kombucha taproom. The space is great. The product being put out is amazing. Awesome flavors. Staff is the best. Get out and support local ICT business!
Justin N — Google review
Absolutely an amazing business and a tasty product. Best Kombucha I’ve ever tasted! From my visit I learned it is a family owned business. I got to meet the owner and he really knew his stuff. Thanks for everything!
Jacob L — Google review
The best darn kombucha I've ever had! Every flavor is perfectly balanced in both flavor and carbonization. Lots of natural flavor, but never too sweet. The perfect amount of refreshing fizz. It's hard to pick a favorite, but the mojito is delicious! We use it as a tasty, healthy weekend mixer with gin, vodka, or tequila. It's been fun to watch the tap room come to life over the last few months on instagram (great insta page by the way!). Now that it's open, it's the perfect place to try a flight of flavors and refill a growler for the week. I'm looking forward to seeing it in more bars and restaurants across Wichita. Keep it up!
