Bar
The Clinic Brasil is a renowned bar in Chile, owned by the country's top satirical magazine, The Clinic. It is a popular spot for intellectuals and budding politicians to engage in lively discussions over beers. The walls are adorned with political cartoons from the magazine, offering visitors an immersive experience. This establishment also serves as an introduction to Chile's political landscape, particularly appealing to those with left-leaning or socialist inclinations.
We decided to go to this place because of its fame of a nice leftist bar which also sells the omonimous newspaper. The newspaper itself is now online but the bar was indeed a good idea, nice atmosphere and good food, a quite good choice for vegetarians and for pisco lovers. Good!
Susanna B — Google review
The concept is right, but lacking attention to details. The whole place smell... no scratch that. Stinks of piss. Yes piss. On top of that, a round of draught beer 8 glasses was served without gas. Food was good but not great.
Gerson L — Google review
I ordered the fish/salmon dish and got food poisoning. It came out raw so I asked the waiter to re-cooked it, but 5 hours later I was vomiting and the next day I have been on the toilet the hole day. It was cheap and now I’m paying for it. Be careful.
Braydon B — Google review
I wouldn't recommend coming to this place. Service is awful, I never had a great experience with food (dirty dishes, serve cold food, etc.) They can't even offer a decent drink menu.
Matías C — Google review
The Clinic was the worst experience me and my girlfriend had in Chile, the waiter Willians scammed us into getting more agregados which we thought it was included on the main dish, we ended paying way more for a poor food than we expected. We said we wouldnt pay the tips and yet they took it from our money, we complained and mr Willians started crying out "mi trabajo" and didn't even return it. We were scammed.

Good beer, great service, cheap. Also, a great place for leftists! Ele Não! Lula Livre! 👊

Bar
Restaurant
Kunstmann CraftBar Av. Italia is a popular spot with a friendly staff, although some may find their attentiveness a bit overwhelming. The bar offers a variety of drinks, including non-alcoholic options like delicious non-alcoholic beer and forgettable mocktails. The food menu features gargantuan ribs that are cooked to perfection but lack depth of flavor. The atmosphere is great, with large air conditioning units for outdoor seating in the back garden area.
Kunstmann CraftBar on Av. Italia is the perfect spot to hang out with friends. The place is super spacious with lots of tables, though it does get packed at night. The draft beer selection is amazing, with plenty of options for every taste. Sadly the DoppelBock was not available but the Bock was great, also Torobayo without filtering was very good. Their breaded shrimp is a must-try—crispy, delicious, and perfect to share. The service is great, too. The staff is super friendly, and even when it’s busy, everything comes out fast. Credit cards accepted and Wi-Fi available. If you’re looking for a chill place with good beer and great food, this is the spot!
Valek — Google review
A great place to enjoy fantastic dishes and great craft beer 🍺. The Kunstmann IPA with IBU-50 was absolutely delicious 😋 🍺 The dishes - beef tartare, tacos 🌮 , salmon ceviche and tuna tartare - were great ! The service was wonderful with the waiter assisting me to get just the right craft beer. The atmosphere is relaxed and on a sunny day the garden is a fantastic 😎 place to be in. Surely will come back !
R L — Google review
Awesome place! Great food, great decor, large air conditioning units for those that wish to sit outside in their back garden area. 2 of our waiters spoke excellent English and service was superb! Will definitely be back soon!
Chrystal B — Google review
The Kunstmann Bar is the perfect location to have an relaxed evening. The food is good, the beer as well and the very friendly staff can give you good recommendations about the different beers that the bar offers.
Fabian S — Google review
Nice atmosphere, unfortunately other people close to us were smoking which was not pleasant as it is open area. Beer good, missing a bit of foam and bitterness but so far the one of the best in Chile.
Tereza A — Google review
Staff is super friendly, just a bit overwhelming at times that they are constantly asking you if everything's OK. Bar hadn't been enabled for alcohol the night I went so my review won't use that as measurement. The mocktail passion fruit mojito was forgettable, too sweet and it had way too much mint. Non alcohol beer was delicious, really really good. Ribs are gargantuan, but unfortunately they are just basic ribs, cooked to perfection, yes, but they lacked soul and a punch. Sauce was bland and provided nothing to the ribs, such a waste of perfectly cooked and juicy rack of ribs. Fries that are cooked are delicious, but most of them were undercooked. That dish is way too big for one diner only, so I strongly recommend that if you order the ribs, just share them.
Daniel P — Google review
Went there with 5 friends. The place was nice but there were a ton of bugs, and I had to swat them constantly to avoid of the bugs diving into my beer by accident. They require you to order food in order to serve you alcohol. I do not like that. And besides that, the beer itself wasn't as cold as expected. The servers messed up my order and for the life of me could not find another server to rectify this. As our last friend showed uo they again told us to order food again in order to serve us drinks. While thinking what to do someone mentioned a burger and the server had the audacity to ring it up before confirming. Really bad service and the place felt understaffed. EDIT: The place reached out to me but didn't specify why.
Dr. N — Google review
The staff were very friendly and all the beers we tried are great. Highly recommend a visit of you like craft beer. Need to order food with your drinks though which is quite common in Santiago.

This is a wonderful bar and restaurant in the Lastarria area of Santiago. I enjoyed a wonderful hamburger and cold beer on their outdoor patio. I ordered their burger made to be like McDonald's, and it did not disappoint! One of the best hamburgers I've had in all of South America!

Being cool, doesn’t means being rude Very unfriendly waiter, i went out with friends looking for food and have a drinks. I ask for a non alcoholic one, She answer that they didn’t have any, nor even sparkling water. Just coke. Not even a little sympathy to offer any solution. Sadly We leave the place.

Say you grew up in de 90's listened to a lot of metal, nu metal and alterno bands from that era and decided to open up an American style beer and burger bar in Santiago. Great for dudes who listened to the same 20 songs on the radio. Food is great, the environment is a bit over the top, but if you are there to stuff your meat and drink hole with something familiar, it is right for you. You should add buffalo wings to the menu! Chile is ready

It's reminiscent of San Jose, Costa Rica's central market but with fewer people during certain times of the day. Visitors are advised to be cautious as there are many thieves looking for opportunities to pickpocket or mug people. However, it's recommended to bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and spending money to enjoy the history of Mercado Estación Central and its surrounding area.

Oculto Beergarden has become one of the most popular spots in the city, known for its urban style and a patio adorned with recycled products and art pieces. The extensive selection of craft beers at the long bar adds to its appeal, making it advisable to reserve a table in advance due to its popularity. This hidden gem in Providencia offers a pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and an array of food and drink options including craft beer and cocktails.
I am a solo traveler that often wanders South America during my off season as a river guide in Tennessee. I was pleasantly surprised to find this location within walking distance of my hostel. The beer is really good and the staff are awesome. The chicken burrito is really good too! Not spicy but still good.

We are an English couple in our 60s travelling in Latin America. We arrived in Santiago and we wanted to find some decent beer and food near to our accommodation. I googled and Oculto Beergarden looked promising. We arrived and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. We were looked after by Kariangel who spoke good English talked us through the beer list and gave us a sample to try before buying. The beer list is very impressive. We had a Mad Charlie's West Coast IPA to start with, very good. We ordered some Sushi for lunch. Kariangel explained the dipping sauces and menu to us and we ordered the Avocado Sweet and Sashimi Mixto. The food was excellent, in fact the Tuna dish in the Mixto is one of the best things we've eaten in 2 months travelling. To finish my husband had a Delirium Tremmens, one of his favourite beers and I had a Pisco Sour which was excellent and again Kariangel explained the cocktail and gave me a sample of Pisco. The whole experience was very enjoyable. There is a lovely atmosphere here and the food, drink and service is excellent. We will definitely come back before we leave Santiago to try some more beers.

What a perfect experience. Beer tasting with great flavors to mix and try. The service is very good, fast and kind. We tried 8 different beers and then went for my all time favorite Corta Corriente and it was delightful. Also, when the beer tasting arrived, the waitress took the time to explain each type of beer and suggest order of drinking. Strongly recommend following this order! We had to wait 15 to 20 minutes to get a table, but it was a very crowded Friday, so it was expected. Will definitely go again and will love to check the second floor terrace. Best place for on tap beer and a good meal.

Great place, good vibes. We got to this place late at night around 1130 for a night cap. We got an IPA, a lager and some fries. The fries came with multiple condiments - Chipotle sauce and ketchup. The server was great - spoke to us in English and even gave us a table inside as soon as one freed up. Located in a safe neighborhood, well lit and a lot of other places around were also open until 1am. Also security cars make rounds frequently.

I've come to Santiago for business several times over the last few years and I've always been a fan of their hoppy beers! For an American hophead such as myself, these guys are the real deal and are just what the doctor ordered when traveling in Latin America amongst when hoppy beers are hard to find. And for those of you that aren't the biggest fan of hops, they have other beers and drinks (such as craft Chilean gin, Proa) that will appeal to you. The food is delicious as well! Plenty of options nfor those looking to get a delicious and fairly priced meal. They even have vegetarian options. The staff is extremely friendly, the bar has a fun and cozy atmosphere, and it's super easy to reach by any form of transportation. What are you doing? Stop reading and go there now!

Great bar right off the popular Nueva Costanera Street. Wide varieties of artisan beers. Fish tacos are awesome.

If I could leave 10 stars, I would. The food is outstanding… Urchin toast, croquetas, tacos, all delicious! The cocktails - some of the best I’ve ever had. The beer, the service, all incredible. Truly a must in Santiago. Shoutout to Velsis who was great with our table.

The beer is delicious. The best craft beer I've tried outside of the USA, and fondly reminds me of Toppling Goliath brewery. It's not just the IPA's, but the stouts and pale ales - all executed so well. I love the cannabis terpines they add to some of the IPA's too, it makes for an addictive smell. Food was the best I've had in Santiago so far - the Merluza fish dish was very tasty. Angie the sever is very kind and welcoming, answering just about any question I threw at her in barely understandable Spanish. Going to try and return to this place a few more times before I leave. Favorite place in Santiago so far.

Tamango Bar did it again, but this time even better. The second Tamango House now located in Vitacura Santiago is really a great place to go. The place looks very nice and just the right level of fancy. Decorations and light inside are very good. Outside terrace is a bit dark and the QRs are made of metal, so they are hard to read with the phone. The beer selection and knowledge from the staff about them is remarcable. Very good recommendations. The menu is very gourmet and varied. It has things to share and to eat as main dish that are very creative and good pairing for the beers. The owners were at the place and they were extremely friendly! Totally recommend coming more than once!

Wow. Amazing gastrobar in a trendy part of Santiago. Shnitzel is so juicy and mindblowing. Steak tartar is a must try. Pisco sours from heaven. Fun atmosphere and great service.

I spent the evening with Max (Maximilion) who ran the bar at Tamango and could not have been happier to meet him. I was already aware of Tamango through the Corte Corriente from a bar/restaurant that served it. I bought, at every occasion, the beer from Tottus to take home with me. When I found out that Tamango had a restaurant/brewery/bar nearby, I could not have been happier. Not only did I find my beloved Corta Corrente on tap, I discovered, through Max’s passion, that Tamango had other “hazy IPAs” and I am now I devout follower. I’ve visited Tamango several times now and Max has always been there for guidance and advice. I can’t thank Tamango for not only providing an amazing assortment of hazy IPAs but for also giving me Max and his inspiration.

Uncle Fletch is a vibrant Gringo hotspot in Santiago, boasting two popular locations that capture the essence of an upscale American sports bar. With its inviting social atmosphere, this eatery pays tribute to Fletcher Davis, often credited as the inventor of the hamburger. The menu features mouthwatering homemade burgers inspired by Texas recipes, alongside a fantastic selection of craft beers from both local and international breweries. The restaurant's design reflects elements reminiscent of America's Industrial Revolution, creating a unique dining experience.

on 15/09/2025 at around 16:15 we got the worst service in Chile, we stayed on the line for a long time (PS: only one person in front of me) two people working there and after so much waiting they advised us to sit (not in a friendly way at all) after sitting, the waiting was the same, we gave up and left. There were about two people eating there, We can now understand why this place was so empty. Is it cheap at least? not at all...

Maybe the worst burger I have had. Looks very nice and toppings and bun are good, but the meat is the lowest quality and I would prefer McDonalds. Chewy is not a word I want to use to describe a burger. I like horseradish, and that’s in the “secret sauce” I was not expecting that. Seating area and tables were dirty. But not too many good options in the airport.
Karley R — Google review
Spectacular burgers, we shared the blue cheese supreme meal & triple smash meal. They were made fresh to order and served in 10 minutes. Fantastic service from Paola Mora

Food came out super quick, too quick.. the chicken burger was raw in the middle. Staff weren't really apologetic but there was a language barrier. Second time around then the fries were cold, and the chicken was chopped in half to make sure it was cooked fully through. Unfortunately Airport Food never really delivers

Flannery's Irish Geo Pub in Santiago is a lively and authentic Irish pub, carrying on the tradition of the original Flannerys in County Mayo, Ireland. The pub features live music every weekend and offers a great selection of beers that changes regularly. Despite the cool weather, outdoor seating with heaters makes for a comfortable experience. The food menu is diverse and surprisingly good for a pub, catering to various tastes.
Great place for the price. Food was very food and not what you would expect from a pub. They had something for everybody and the service was good, although no menu but a QR code, which is always annoying. I had to add a picture of the toilet as it was fitting very well into the overall style. The atmosphere is loose and a great place to eat well have fun and get some drinks.

Amazing place. Staff are diligent, wide variety of drinks. There's one thing to bear in mind. They seem to close whenever the management wants. It's a shame as we have had the honour to call this our "Local" but we have seen the staff turn away dozens of people who believe the Google times as tourists, watching them lose custom in real time. Either stay consistent with the Google schedule or change the opening times online.

Wish this had been a vendor at the Lollapalooza, as the sandwiches and meat were much higher quality than what was on offer there (maybe shouldn't be surprised). The sopaipillas were great as an appetizer (though there's a lot of them, so be prepared). Churrasco Chacarero sandwich also recommended.

This is a proper sandwich restaurant! The portions are enormous and will likely fill you up even when ordering a 1/2 sandwich. Even the sopapilla order was enormous. There is a huge beer and drink selection, especially when you see the many different pisco cocktail options available. Indoor and outdoor seating is available, and staff did speak a bit of English.

Great bar and restaurant if you are looking for good empanadas and Chilean sandwiches. The tongue is perfectly cooked and delicious. Empanadas are large and great for sharing. The place gets busy. Nice patio area. Google has 2 locations right now. The one down the alley is the correct one. It’s not on the main avenue.

I went to the restaurant on Saturday at 12:30, but something happened and they were not able to open until 2pm. But, I was told it was a one-time thing. I returned the next day at 1pm, but they were just bringing chairs outside and looking like they weren't open yet (open at 12 according to Google maps). So, my 5* rating is what I'm hoping my experience will be if I ever arrive there when they're open. 😕

This actually left me disappointed. The traditional Chilean eatery with street food style sandwiches on offer. Wasn’t a fan of- heavy on the sauce, and whilst large portions- lacking in flavour, it wasn’t for me. In addition service was very dismissive and unfriendly.

My chileno amigos in Australia recommended this place so I tried it out whilst transiting through Santiago. The service was friendly and I was seated straight away. The Romano was absolutely massive but that didn’t stop me from eating the whole thing. The place is an institution

Got overwhelmed by the menu but managed to order the churrasco italiano (tomato and avocado and mayo and meat). Something about the way they made the meat is just amazing. Big portion and I saved half for lunch next day (they pack your to go sandwich very well). I love it and crave for the chance to try another sandwich. Came on a Saturday for dinner and did not have to wait and got seated at counter inside.
Crystal Y — Google review
Expect a line but it moves very quickly. The Italian style churrasco was the best (has avocados on top) and one sandwich can easily feed 2 people. We also tried the Romano with farmer style with mayo, it was good too but not as good as churrasco.
Susie S — Google review
The Italian sandwich was drowning in gallons of mayonnaise… also had avocado and tomato. Tomato was cut horribly uneven. Good luck figuring out what the different meats are or what goes on each sandwich. A total disaster for us ⚰️
Christophertravelz — Google review
Very disappointed considering this place has very good reviews. I ordered the churrasco with sauerkraut, tomato, mayo. The meat was bland, I don’t think there was any seasoning on it at all, and there was far too much mayo which made it impossible to eat properly as it made the bread soggy, the mayo was also completely flavourless. If you’re going to load it with mayo as least make it taste good. Overall just a bland, difficult to eat sandwich, really not worth the good reviews I’ve seen

Service was.. let's say interesting. It was slloooowwww.. They seemed confused when we ordered some water along with the beers and insisted to forget about it. (In the end no water has been served). Also beers was nothing more than average. But the deadly strike came when they served the burgers, someone definitely needs to teach them how to make and cook burgers. The patty was overly mixed (almost kneaded like a bread) and it was cooked so much had the texture of an eraser. In the end for a place that serves mainly beers, plates to share and burgers it was unfortunately disappointing. I don't think I'll give another chance to try again.

Decent beer selection. The food was below average, we ordered the ceviche and inferno burger. The music itself was too loud and they had a live band upstairs, which only added to the noise and made it unbearable. Hands down one of my favorite bars in Santiago. The place has a cool, laid-back vibe with unique decor that adds so much character. It’s perfect for relaxing with friends. The drinks are where this bar really shines. José, the bartender, truly knows how to craft cocktails! For creative options, I tried the Tiki Pineapple and the Rómula—both were fantastic. For a classic, I went with a Dry Martini, and it was spot on. Everything was amazing and made with care. I didn’t try the food, but the menu is pretty extensive, with appetizers, burgers, pizza, and even sushi. They accept credit cards, and WiFi is available, which is super convenient. The staff was friendly, and the overall vibe was welcoming. If you’re in Lastarria, Bar La Junta is a must-visit!

Perfect cocktails, food is delicious - great fresh ingredients from an obviously skilled chef. Staff very attentive and friendly, owner is clearly one of the good guys in this world. Honestly the best bar/restaurant experience I've had anywhere in South America.

Excellent place to have dinner. The american and 4 cheese pizzas are great! People are very friendly and it is not expensive. The mojitos and piñas coladas (depending on the bartender) are perfect, enough alcohol and not only just juice (if you know what i mean).

Beer garden
El Mesón Beer Garden is a great place to enjoy some delicious beer in the heart of central Santiago. It's located on Paseo Bulnes and has comfortable terraces as well as select beers from all over the world. You can also find food here that'll make you feel at home, like mesquite-smoked charcuterie or house-baked pies.
Awesome place with a great selection of local and international craft beers. Very friendly staff, I went there around my 40th birthday and they gifted me a free glass! One of the coolest spots I’ve been in my short visit to STGO.

A very crowded place, you need to be very patient to wait for your turn, but it will worth it. A variety of Chilean crafted beer and international beers. If you're going in group, you must order the "pitcher", is very cheap. The fries are the best. Recommended 👌
Tebo C — Google review
The selection of craft beers has declined over time. Lately, they haven't been offering many options. Previously, they had a great selection, and it was one of the best places to have a beer in Santiago.
Sergio P — Google review
This became our weekly hangout spot for a tasty beer. Wonderful selection on tap and reasonably priced given the quality. The sandwiches are tasty too! The beef is cooked just right. We will thoroughly miss this place when we leave town!
Graham M — Google review
Great taplist with a wide range of beers from Chile and abroad with reasonable prices. Service can be a bit slow but they do get very busy, and pouring a good pint takes time. I'd happily give this place four or five stars but the entire outdoor seating area is smoking (like most places in Chile, sadly). So if you're a nonsmoker who wants to sit outside on a warm night you get to enjoy secondhand smoke from all the tables around you with your beer. If they could make half the outdoor tables no smoking the place would be fantastic.
Daniel — Google review
Great beer choices and good food selection- including for vegetarians! Prices are moderate for what is served. The service leaves a lot to be desired, but that’s the only reason it’s not a 5 star review.
Katharine C — Google review
Today 2019, the best place to drink local and imported beer within downtown. No points on style, but best selection of beer. Only drawback is that they have a restaurant license, you need to order food, like fries.

Good selection of craft beers and pub food with vegetarian and vegan options. Unfortunately the staff was very inflexible with accommodating a larger group of 12 persons, despite the place being almost empty we were forced to cram onto a table that was way too small. 20 minutes before the official closing time we were pushed to pay by not very cooperative staff.

An interesting place to stay and drink crafted Chilean and international beers (the options of crafted beers change every day, it means, fresh beers all the time). The burger I try ("No me dejes Megan, Te amo"; I'm not sure what was the name) was a surprise with the wine sauce and the Sriracha, an excellent choice if you want to eat there (the burger wasn't 3/4 cooked, but was fine). This place is hidden, you can ask to the locals where is this place. An interesting place to share a nice conversation with your friends and the waitresses 😉😎

A Chilean friend told me about this place and I decided to visit during my first day at Santiago. I have to admit that I was very positively surprised. Very nice beer, food and service. Even though it was on a Monday and there were not many people around, the atmosphere was very pleasant. I will definitely go again. I fully recommend it.

Expendio Montt is a spot in Santiago that lives up to its motto of "tacos y chelas" - offering a variety of beers and delicious tacos with authentic Mexican flavors like jalapenos and habaneros. The place is known for serving fresh draft beers like Jester, Guayacan, and Tropera, as well as bottled options such as Jabali, Nomade, or Funky Brett. Visitors can enjoy a laid-back atmosphere with good food and drinks.

(Translated by Google) As a first comment: I arrived, and normally, restaurants are interested in customers. However, in this case, I didn't feel I had a good reception. Upon entering and looking around for a seat, no one approached me to offer me a spot or ask what I wanted. I left and had to go to a table outside and ask if it was free. Overall 2 ⭐ I'm always looking for a complete experience, including food, ambiance, and service. In this case, the music doesn't match the atmosphere, the service felt strange from the start, and the food was okay but not the best. Food 3 ⭐ Regarding the dishes, the flavors stand out very well with the sauces they serve. It's the most important part of the restaurant, and even so, it didn't convince me that it's a preparation I can call excellent. Service 2 ⭐ The service was only pleasant thanks to a person who seemed to be the restaurant's manager, who was the one paying the most attention to the ambiance. The staff weren't all focused, and some were on their cell phones. I waited a while until my order arrived. Ambience 2 ⭐ The interior looked nice, but I was served outside. The music didn't create a good atmosphere, and the tables were too close together, leaving you almost stuck to the people at the other table. It's clearly a place to go with friends, not alone or as a couple, as it's not comfortable for those situations.

(Translated by Google) It's a neighborhood bar specializing in classic Mexican tacos and tortas, which are very good. They have a bar with several lines of domestic beers from the shop, and the drink menu is varied. The downside is the service... we went on a very cold day (since it's an open-air restaurant), so it was very cold. We asked them to turn on the heater, but they didn't (they told us they didn't have gas, but they did have a heater on the terrace). The wait time for them to serve you and serve you beer or food is quite long. The prices are expensive compared to another nearby bar.

(Translated by Google) A great place to take advantage of bank discounts. Be careful with the spices; the chilaquiles are delicious, but extra spicy (and I like spicy food). The lemonade was delicious. Three tacos per person and a starter are fantastic. We also had a chocolate volcano with ice cream, which wasn't as delicious. The food also lacked salt. (Original) Muy buen lugar para aprovechar descuentos de bancos. Ojo con el picante, los chilaquiles son muy ricos pero extra picantes (y eso que me gusta el picante). El Beer Wall is a cozy bar located in Av. It may not offer an extensive variety of beers like other places, but it's still worth revisiting. The burgers are unexpectedly delicious and the overall food quality is excellent. While the focus is on beer with quirky names, they also serve a rotating selection of 6 to 8 local Chilean brews. The ambiance is inviting, and patrons can enjoy tasty burgers at reasonable prices.
A great place with a comfy ambiance and beer with wacky names. A wide-ish (usually 6 to 8) selection of beer from local chilean breweries, which they rotate from time to time. We had a couple burgers, a couple of beers and a small bottle of mead (which we had never tried before). Spent around 12k (each) for a beer and a burger. My burger ("a kind of blue") was awesome, juicy and smoky (all beef burgers are smoked), although a little small even though it came with a portion of fries and a sauce. Would absolutely recommend, especially because here you can get a solid burger with a nice craft beer for an affordable price.

We don't drink alcohol, so it was disappointing to see that they only have canned Coke (I know they specialize in beers) but I think those of us who abstain from it should have another option. Even so, they serve very well, everything is delicious, tasty, at a reasonable price, so recommended. Be careful not to stain your clothes, because they spread the bread in butter and it falls if you are not careful.
