El Gringo is a small but highly recommended spot known for its delicious Arabic food. Visitors rave about the generous portions of shawarma, the clean and inviting atmosphere, and the efficient service. It's a must-visit for those craving rich and flavorful dishes.
Big shawarmas, excellent taste, the place looks clean and had a very express service

(Translated by Google) The best shawarma in Patronato, I have tried in several places but this is an explosion of flavors, be careful that it is not cheap but it is worth going a thousand times, next time I will try the lamb shawarma and meat skewers. The owner is very nice and friendly, we will return to serve the other appetizers. (Translated by Google) Without a doubt, the best shawarma I have eaten in Santiago is from Gringo in Patronato... the first time I arrived by chance and from that day I always go to this place whenever I can, very well seasoned meats, the sour cream I think is the best, warm fresh panpita, all the fresh vegetables, the only drawback is the small space but for the product you serve it makes you forget and takes a backseat....

Haute French restaurant
Baco is a stylish restaurant in Santiago that offers French cuisine and a wide selection of wines. The restaurant is known for its outdoor seating and friendly, unobtrusive service. With a focus on well-curated wines, Baco offers over 200 bottles and around 25 rotating selections by the glass, including Chilean options alongside French choices. The menu features classic French dishes made with locally sourced ingredients from the region's markets.
Baco is an absolute gem. The staff is incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly, the kind of service that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. They offer complimentary water, don’t charge a service fee, and still go above and beyond. The food is outstanding. I highly recommend the stroganoff — one of the best I’ve had. It’s my favorite restaurant in Santiago, and a place I’ll definitely be coming back to!
Matheus M — Google review
Very nice place for really good food and wine. The wine by the glass is very convenient and their selection is well made. Downstairs seems nice, but we stayed upstairs.

Restaurant Baco: A Top Dining Spot We had an exceptional meal at Restaurant Baco! Even with a queue to get in, it was completely worth the wait. For appetizers, we loved the Steak Tartare and Pork Terrine. Our main courses, the Magret de Canard and Beef Fillet Medallion with Béarnaise, were perfectly cooked. We also enjoyed a refreshing Pisco Sour and their unique Wine Tea (red fruits with wine). The food was outstanding, and the service was great. It's clearly a fantastic restaurant – highly recommended!

Food is delicious and you can see this fromthe photos. The rose' was delicate and very nice. For sure a restaurant to visit and to impress your friends. Location is also beautiful

OMG the best Raviolle I have had in my life. I am visiting Santiago, usually I dont go to the same place twice while I am travelling, I like to explore the options but I needed to except it and went back to Baco twice in a week. How great is everything. Favourite place in Santiago so far!

Excellent food for a good price. Great wine selection by the glass. Best oysters I had in Chile (so far). I also enjoyed the salmon tartar and the pan-fried reineta. Magret de canard was good, but not among the best I had before. Reservations are highly encouraged, but you can still get in line to get a table. It's a large and lively space. Highly recommended.

Liguria is a renowned bar in Santiago, known for its bohemian atmosphere and over 30 years of history. With four branches, the Manuel Montt location stands out for its gastronomy and live concerts featuring artists like Isabel Parra, Carlos Cabezas, and Gepe. The bar is filled with nostalgic details and distinctive decor.
Great dinner here on our last night in Santiago. Great Chilean food, good cocktails and good service. Very cool decor and moody lighting in the restaurant.

Let me tell you… This is the best place to eat and enjoy traditional Chilean cuisine, the bar it’s ample with a variety of different drinks, the menu has various dishes options with traditional Chilean plates of great quality and excellent quality meals. I had the most delicious Chilean cazuela, an entree of cheese scallops and a Chilean flan style. And in Chile one can’t go wrong with red wines!!! I can most definitely recommend this restaurant!!!!

Great place to visit while in laStarria, Santiago, Chile. It is a hybrid for local Chilean food and Italian dishes. The seafoods were Wonder, well prepared and properly seasoned, and the most important of all, they were fresh! Also, love their version of the Sopaipilla, great texture.

Good choices of food, our escalope and vegetables were both very good. Very good pisco sours, and good wine options. Attentive and efficient service. The decor on the first floor is a really nice setting, like an old fashioned bar, and we have been in the patio previously which is also good with a more relaxed vibe.

Falafel restaurant
Al-Jazeera, situated at Huerfanos 1385, is a Middle Eastern restaurant known for its delectable dishes and comfortable dining ambiance. With a wide variety of authentic Palestinian cuisine, this eatery has garnered positive reviews for its great value and flavorful shawarma. It opens daily at 12:30 PM, making it a convenient spot to enjoy genuine Middle Eastern flavors in a cozy setting.
Great and tasty shawarma. Nice and cozy place. Highly recommend!)
Google review
Absolutely disgusting and inedible. We purchased mixed shawarma wraps, which literally contained only boiled, unseasoned meat/chicken, cubes of tomato, and an amount of mayonnaise that literally made it impossible to eat. (Yes, mayonnaise, not “white sauce” or yogurt sauce.) The mayonnaise was SWEATING through the foil wrap that the food came in. I took one bite and could not continue eating it. This is not even close to authentic, and frankly was absolutely heinous even by Chilean standards (especially the amount of mayonnaise).

Sherezade is a delightful dining spot with fantastic service and delicious food. The use of real yogurt in their dishes sets them apart, although some patrons suggest adding pickled items to enhance the experience. While the food is great, some guests find the music a bit bothersome. Overall, it's a nice place with good attention to detail and tasty offerings.
Really tasty. They use real yogurt (not Mayo!) and the service is fantastic. Only thing I would change would be to add something pickled to the platter. Otherwise, (chef’s kiss) perfection.

We went to Sherezade after viewing it on a TV show that recommended it, it portrayed it as an owner operated little restaurant but on the day we went they were short staffed, only the cook and two waiters one of which was also acting as cashier therefore the service was not great, the place was packed ( it is a tiny place that serves only on sidewalk tables, not very pretty....looked much better on TV The meat for the zhawarmas was mediocre ...in my opinion not worth a second chance.

Restaurant
Ahlen Shawerma offers a delicious shawarma plate at a reasonable price, with generous portions and flavorful garlic sauce. While the outdoor seating lacks heating during winter, the food's rich taste makes up for it. The shawarma is said to be the best in town, served near a bakery that accepts cards. Although some feel that the signature parsley and greenness of the shawarma could be improved, many praise its flavor and recommend trying it out.
The food here is fantastic, my son and I had lunch here 3 times I wish Ahlen was in my city in California we would eat here weakly I highly recommend this shawarma store we tried a few others and no other stores even came close to the incredible flavor of Ahlen shawarma I may have to return here next year just for the shawarma sandwich !

(Translated by Google) Delicious and filling food. The prices are popular, although they still hit you hard with the drinks that don't go beyond the typical Coca, Fanta or Sprite, which if they were served colder would be wonderful. The service is good and since the menu is limited (5 or 6 options) they bring the food to the table quickly. The quality of chairs and tables needs to be improved. (Original) Comida rica y contundente. Located in a spot where a Turkish family used to run a shawarma joint, Dony Doner is now serving up its own take on the classic doner kebab. In addition to traditional shawarma offerings, they also offer unique creations featuring ingredients like shoestring potatoes, yellow chili pepper, and guacamole. However, the standout item is their Doner Carne, which includes beef, lettuce, tomato, red onion, parsley, and their signature Dony Doner sauce.
Nice food . Reasonable price . Recommend this place
Kavinda K — Google review
Kitchen could take a small risk and add more flavour to the base so it can be more authentic. Also the meat it was cut in chunks instead of thin slices. Good portion, fast service
Camilo P — Google review
I´ve never been to the restaurant but I've ordered food through delivery apps; the food is just not right: the wrap was not done properly (hence, it was leaking everywhere) and the hummus is good, but too dry and small. I´d choose other places for doner.
Cristian G — Google review
The worst I have ever had, starting off with some black hair on top of the food. The chips were off and stale. Also the doner was reasonable but the flafel hard and anything I have ever tasted. Drinks that are on the menue are not available and only sugar drinks on offer at inflated prices. Staff are more interested in socialising amongst themselves then providing a service. Thats why no tips (propinas) were given. The empty place should have served as a warning. I will stay clear off this food chain.
Ralf O — Google review
disappointment. badly executed, unfortunately, because i wanted to love it. the chicken and beef are way too dry, overcooked & inedible. the wraps are on a large flour tortilla, lots of iceberg lettuce, chopped tomatoes, red onion & sauce (yogurt/garlic). basically a waste of $ & food because of the proteins. i tried the side falafel also. it was meh. i’m sure the employees are all nice people, but the food was an absolute dealbreaker & i can never return.
Duane M — Google review
the falafel donair tasted dry and like hard balls of compressed matter. unfortunately, we ordered 2 of them and we waited quite a while, it wasn't busy but 2 people that came after us got served first. Sorry, I'm not returning here. We didnt even want to finish it and I threw the rest out.
GW — Google review
Try their Dony Doner, it is amazing. We had take-away, instead of having the sauce on the wraps we got it in plastic cups, not 2 but 5 for 3 wraps. No need for the plastic I woild say

Restaurant
Waya's Gyros, a Greek-style eatery in Santiago, has been serving gyros for about twenty years. Their classic location on Roman Diaz 11 in Providencia and another on Miraflores Street offer a similar menu to other gyro spots but with the unique addition of pork. The recommended dish is the Gyros Cerdo, featuring pork cooked on a vertical spit along with lettuce, tomato, parsley, and two classic sauces: a garlic-heavy white sauce and a spicy one.
(Translated by Google) Before I had tables to eat there. Even so, I always come back because they are one of the best salads I have ever tried, especially because of their white sauce.
Christian N — Google review
Gyro was ok. The chili sauce is good and they give a generous amount of veg. However, the pork was cold, dry, hard and in itself without flavour. A real gyro should have the meat marinaded and cooked to order. The quality of the pita was also quite poor, being dry and separating into layers, rather than warm and fluffy. The yoghurt sauce was also strangely salty, closer to a Turkish ayran drink than a tsatsiki or similar sauce.

Deliscious falafel. Wonderful people. Great for a quick bite and if you have a sweet tooth 👌

We thought the shawarma was ok but we've had much better in Santiago. The service was exemplary, the atmosphere in the restaurant can be described as "fast food". You can't pay with cards, it's cash and transfer only. Won't be back.
Caesar T — Google review
It is an okay place, no lamb shawarma, small menu. In this same street there are better looking places for arabic food.

(Translated by Google) The Harissa does not disappoint 😋. I come as a child and the flavor remains intact. I ate a mixed shawarma + a drink or natural juice (Promo) 6990, 2 falafel (1400) and a ceregli (2490, Arabic sweet). The atmosphere is very cozy, the business is small, 3 tables inside and another 3 outside, they have Arabic music at a pleasant volume. They only receive cash or transfer. I hope you can stop by and try it 👌🏻 (Original) El Harissa no defrauda 😋. Solo reciben efectivo o transferencia. Espero puedan pasar y probarlo 👌🏻

(Translated by Google) The most fake shawarma I've ever eaten. Chicken, tomato, and mayo?? Not worth the price. I was disappointed. (Original) El shawarma mas falso que he comido. Pollo, tomate y mayo?? No vale su precio. Quedé descepcionada.

(Translated by Google) The place has a bar with a good view of the Puente Alto square. It is an old, traditional style fountain. The space is small and somewhat cramped, however, the atmosphere and sharing with other people compensate quite well. The girls serve super well and fast.

(Translated by Google) Good food and at a good price. The meat is quality, since it is fresh meat from the Miro butcher shop. The attention is 10/10 and everything is always fast. The only detail is that the space is small and narrow, but it is worth it. (Original) Buena comida y a buen precio.

(Translated by Google) LEBANESE TO THE CHILEAN STYLE. I tried to look for the Lebanese side, but apart from some pseudo shawarma, there was little. It is still well attended and the soda fountain format is respected. I don't think I'll come back. (Original) LIBANESA A LA CHILENA. Shawarma is a popular Middle Eastern street food that consists of thinly sliced meat, such as chicken, beef, or lamb, wrapped in pita bread or flatbread. It is often cooked on a vertical rotisserie and served with vegetables, tahini sauce, hummus, or pickles. The meat is marinated in a blend of spices and then slow-roasted to create tender and flavorful layers.
