An interesting place not only for children. Large enclosures for animals are well equipped. It is possible to climb to the highest point of the park in a special trolley. There is a cafe with snacks and drinks, a restaurant, and a toilet on the territory. You will find drinking water dispensers everywhere. There are playgrounds for children everywhere.

I recently had the opportunity to volunteer at Brno Zoo, helping with cleaning and maintenance, and I also spent time exploring the zoo afterward. The zoo is impressively wide and spacious, offering plenty of room to roam and discover a vast variety of animals. It truly felt like a well-maintained and safe environment, both for the animals and the visitors. Volunteering gave me a closer look at the effort that goes into keeping everything clean and comfortable for the animals. I highly recommend visiting if you want to see diverse wildlife and enjoy a safe, welcoming outdoor experience.

Smaller, more walk-y zoo. Student ticket price is very nice. I visited on a winter weekday and it was almost completely empty, which I really liked. From what I saw, there seem to be places to sit, eat or drink, but I only noticed one souvenir shop. My biggest point of excitement was the amount of uncommon animals we saw. Thing is, I'm not sure a casual visitor cares about the 6 different types of pigeon or lizards that one cannot see much elsewhere. The enclosures are decent from what I can tell, it didn't look like any of the animals suffered. I also liked that many animals got very close to the visitors and seemed somewhat curious. I'll probably visit again in the summer. One note I should mention - when I was visiting, the polar bear exhibit was closed and so the route was interrupted. Plus points for a zoo cat that crawled into my lap while I was sitting around, minus points for mice in parrot enclosure

I was quite affraid to visit this zoo after reading some bad reviews but after all was not dissapointed at all. Really cool perspective that it is located on the hill, I could've never imagened how good it would look and especially feel for animals who are tend to live not on the flat terrain. Yet it is quite outdated with some trashy benches but on other hand it is very organic and creates great atmosphere. There were SOME exhibitions closed but still plenty to see. We couldn't managed to go everywhere with our 2yo in 3 hours! Plenty places to eat, for kids to play and just relax. Not too crowded. Littlr train is great idea when you have small kids but it would be great if it was electric one, not the stinky.

Lady at the ticket booth was really impolite, otherwise the zoo was lovely. If you go during the week it’s almost empty, which is nice, however be prepared that most of the food stands will be closed.

Super nice zoo. Very wide-breeding and very natural as if you were walking through a forest. Most special is because of the design you can get very close to the animals and see them up close

Amazing experience! An absolutely iconic building – Villa Tugendhat is a must-see. We only joined the outside tour, but the whole experience was much more than I expected. The architecture and atmosphere are truly breathtaking. Our tour guide was also fantastic – even though we booked in Czech (the only option available), we were kindly given information in English as well. A big thank you to our guide on August 19th at 10:30, who gave us extra explanations in English – it made the visit even more special. Highly recommended!

The most impressive Mies van der Rohe villa I've ever visited. Overwhelming in its sheer size. The mandatory guided tour is of appalling quality. A young woman babbled indistinctly in a flat voice. The previous guide and his group ignored the allotted time, forcing our group to wait interminably and then being rushed through the villa at breakneck speed. Then there's the morbid realization that the Jewish initiators and residents, like virtually all artists in Czechoslovakia, even Cápek himself, were murdered by German Nazism.

Villa Tugendhat has been on my list for years, but I never made the trip to Brno until now. It completely exceeded expectations. It’s huge — a dream for anyone who loves modernism and mid-century design. The views of the city and the surrounding park are stunning. The only caveat: the gift shop could use better designed merch, especially for a site this iconic. A must see visit in person

It was a shock for me to see such a futuristic villa in 1930 by the master Meis Von Der Rohe The main feeling it’s one floor amazing Design But soon you will see it is 2 floors I couldn’t get inside as it is Monday I had to sleep over on Brno to get inside it tomorrow It’s a must see for any architect or designer or art lover The round glass by the door is so advanced by that time and the opening through the building into the garden and the mountains of Brno is so advanced and timeless

Beautiful House, Wonderful Guide – Can’t Wait to See the Inside 👏🏼 We had a lovely outside tour of the house and were so impressed. The guide was incredibly knowledgeable and went out of their way to translate and explain everything in English, which really helped us connect with the history and architecture. The house itself is stunning—truly a must-see in Brno. We’re already looking forward to coming back for an interior tour next time. ❤️

Definitely worth a visit. You can spend hours here. I went for the museum and there are three levels you can explore. You get to learn about the castle‘s history and architecture. There are also exhibitions for you to explore and many art pieces for you to marvel at. Please note it is definitely a hike up! Recommend to wear appropriate shoes.

The fortress is a wonderful place to spend some time. The walk up to the fortress is mildly strenuous but pleasantly green. The exhibitions are absolutely worth visiting and very comprehensive. The view from the fortress walls or its tower is also beautiful. Definitely a must-visit if you are in Brno.

Špilberk castle is a must-visit if you’re in Brno. only problem was that it took me an eternity to find a toilet, but i had to "pay" for it when i got in. other than that, this castle seems very nice and it offers great views

If you stay Brno few days and have a lot of time, you can visit here. If not, you don't need to. If you want to go into the royal chapel, you have to buy another ticket.

Amazing science museum, fun and educative for both kids and adults. Many exhibition pieces and most of them interactive, which makes it even more fun! Definetely recommend!

A must-visit with curious children. When we planned our stop here from Olomouc, we were expecting to stay for 2 hours, but we left after 5 hours. Me, my wife, and our 4-year-old had a blast. Don't miss out!

A nice science museum, nothing more. Maybe I didn't read the recommendations well before, but in my opinion there's not much for older children (over 12) to do there. We were there for barely an hour, my kids got bored quickly (12 and 15 years old). I gave it a 4, but that's barely enough.

Absolutely loved it! VIDA! Science Centrum in Brno is a fantastic place for curious minds of all ages. While it’s not massive, it’s packed with hands-on exhibits and interactive displays that make learning incredibly fun. Whether you're into physics, biology, technology, or just love to explore how things work, there's something here to capture your attention. You can easily spend an entire day here without getting bored.

It’s very funny and you can do anything.

So many things to explore for both young and old! Endless interactive activities that will keep your kids busy for hours! There is also a cafe area upstairs where you can relax and the kids can play in the kids corner near you. Definitely worth a visit!

To my six-year-old daughter, VIDA is the coolest. Despite being in one giant room, the exhibits are diverse and interactive. You can make a tornado, test electricity, make paper airplanes, and so much more. The highlight was the art area with every type of supply imaginable. You get to take home the art you create! There’s an outdoor area, a two-level slide, a cafe that sells ham and cheese sandwiches and popsicles.

Great atmosphere to relieve all your stress . It is located beside the Svratka river. We went there by taking bus 303 from Zoologicka Zhrada to Hrad Veveři. Then went back to brno dam by boat along the river. It's such a fantastic trip for a day. I really recommend to visit castle and have a boat ride.

We visited Veveří Castle by boat (highly recommend the steam boat). The setting is breathtaking but access is limited, you can only walk around the outer courtyards and buildings with no interior open to explore. And payment is cash only which was inconvenient. I was willing to pay extra for a tour to the inside to the pallace but either it was not available or there was a language barrier. We did ask. The only other interior place available to view is basically Lion and Eagle exhibition. The only café open had a very limited menu, mainly pork dishes. The boat ride was fantastic and the castle is beautiful from the outside but overall it felt underwhelming. If you want to experience both the interior and exterior of a castle, I would recommend visiting another site.

Great castle, in great condition and beautiful location. I've visited this place 3 times so far. It's a very nice short trip from Brno. I highly suggest taking the boat there since it adds to the experience. The castle is built on a forest hill with great views all year round. Inside the castle there's a nice small winery, a pud where there's usually live music (I think on weekends only), a cafe with pastries, a blacksmith shop and a small tourist/toy store. On my first visit there was also a small parade and some cannon shooting which was very cool. At 60 CZK entry fee, that place is totally worth a visit.

Big nice castle, worth visiting also the interior but the towers are impressive also with the basic entry to the yard. Good restaurant and pub to eat and drink, also there is a winery. Great views.

Would definitely recommend visiting really beautiful castle and not very expensive you can get a beautiful boat ride there and see the river from a nice perspective

We went by boat and paid 60 CZK by cash for just the entrance there. No dogs in the inner courtyard but outside was ok. It was fine. A proper castle. A nice view at the forest outside.:-) Had a surprisingly good soup there at the Winston restaurant.

Beautiful and old historic castle, free parking available, the entrance ticket cost is 30 Czech Republic 🇨🇿. Inside is cafe , restaurant and some small shops located. Rest rooms (toilet) available. The palace is old and not more visitors there, so, if you don’t like noise places than it’s best place for you. Enjoy at old and historical place. Recommended if you are traveling through Brno city.

Cathedral of St. Peter and Paul, Brno This beautiful church sits on a hill and is easy to spot with its tall twin towers. Inside, it’s peaceful and full of history, with lovely decorations. You can climb the towers for great views of Brno. It’s a must-see if you’re visiting the city.

Beatiful cathedral, rich and very interesting treasury, it is a must if you visit this nice Czech city. It would be even helpful if the information texts are also available in English and not only in local language.

The cathedral is a must see if you are visiting Brno. The tower is quite a climb, the inly negative was the ticket lady not speaking English. The view from the top was breathtaking.

What a lovely experience, got to the place right before the service finished (around 17 something on a Thursday), managed to catch the beautiful sounds of a large pipe organ - the sound was amazing. There is a park around the cathedral’s perimeter with beautiful surroundings, you can see the whole city from afar from different angles, there are also a few cafes to sit super close to the cathedral or you can simply relax and enjoy your time with your own food and drink on one of the numerous benches (with the backs) that are located across the area

The Brno Technical Museum was a great place to explore on our own, with a wide range of exhibits from old machinery to vintage vehicles and engineering innovations. However, the experience was a bit limited by the fact that almost all information was written only in Czech. There were no English translations, which made it harder to fully appreciate the details of the displays. Despite that, the layout was logical and the exhibitions were visually impressive. It’s worth a visit, especially for fans of history and technology, but having multilingual descriptions would make it much more accessible to international visitors.

Nice exposition. So much wasted potential though. Only a little part of it was actually explained, so educational value is small. I had fun as l'm a nerd and I knew how this stuff worked. Also expect minimal English. Majority of things are only in Czech. They have some printed guides and an app, but both of them cover very little of the exposition.

Good few hours for adults and kids aged 6 and 10. Shame not enough info is in English. There’s a coat/bag check at the entrance and the parking is free

It was surprisingly good despite that part of the exhibition was closed. A lot of old and interesting cars, computers, watch, cameras and and more. Must see. We payed 120 czk/person. You should spend there more then 2 hours.

A fantatsic museum filled with an array of technological pieces and activities for children and adults. I spent three hours looking at cars, motorcycles, musical instruments and more. The experience was both entertaining and rewarding. I recommend the museum highly - one of the best attractions in Brno.

A really lovely, modern science museum and easonably priced entrance. A wide range of exhibits with knowledgeable and helpful staff. Reconstructed old shops, steam engines, cars, planes, guns and war history, ancient history, photography and microscopy, computer history and playable computer games. And much, much more. All presented in a modern and engaging way. There's also a 'hands on' science area where you can have fun and learn a lot! Although there's no cafe a number of vending machines provide coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sandwiches (pretty good!), chocolate and snacks. And they all take contactless card payment. A good place to take the kids for 3-4 hours. Highly recommend!

I purchased ticket for interesting little train, as from a fairy tale in advance. This train takes you within 20 min ride to Punkovne Jeskine caves. You can also walk however you’ll need an extra condition for it, walk takes ca 50 min. I purchased ticket for the cave also in advance, because I do not want surprises. The tour inside cave was fantastically organized. Its beautiful stalactites can be seen by the boat ride, then you start walking when you reach the little lake, its mesmerizing blue color visible by sun rays touch so make sure you go there around 2pm.

I went on a tour in English with Rostislav Janis via Get Your Guide for “Discover Moravian Karst: Seven stops, one Tailored Tour” and it was by far the best thing I could have done. So beautiful and professionally managed. The Churches and caves were particularly beautiful.

Fantastic nature. It's worth to visit of you want to have a pleasant walk and see the beauty of nature. I can't help but share that the guides of the caves are not polite persons. They don't speak English or just a little. They don't know the worlds "please", "thanks". They hurry you and turns of the lights.

One of the best trips. absolutely Loved the cave. if forests and caves are any interest to you and you are visiting Brno City then Moravian Karst is a must visit. I visited in Jan 2022, it was super cold and snowing but absolutely beautiful forest to see and hike. During winter the only cave that was open for public was Punkva which is the largest among the five caves that are located at the Moravian Karst. i have read that the five caves are open for public visit during summer only. the Moravian Karst is located very near to Blansko town ( usually a train goes from Brno to Blansko, but during my visit the trains wasn't working so took Itook the bus ) the trip by bus/ train from Brno to Blankso is about 30 min ride. then when you arrive to Blansko its around 25 min ride via a taxi/ car to arrive to the Moravian Karst. there is no public transportation that goes there so having a car or a taxi is a must if you cant walk for that long. if you are a tourist and don't speak Czech, then i highly advice to book a taxi in advance before your arrival, because its very hard to find people who speak English in Blansko, also when i arrived it was Sunday and there were absolutely no taxi driver anywhere close to the station. the town was very empty not sure if it was because of Sunday or this is the norm there. Uber, Bolt and any other similar services doesn't work there as well. ( you can find taxi companies online that you can call and book in advance ) when you arrive to the Moravian Karst there is an internal train that picks you up from the information office to drop you at meeting point for the tour to the cave. please make sure to arrive before your tour at least 45 min in advance. if your tour is starting at 12 then arrive at 11.15 latest. i arrived 25 min before my tour starts to find that the train has already left so i had to wait for two hours+ for the second tour to go. the tours are only in Czech language but even though i didn't understand what the guide is saying i did enjoy the tour a-lot as the cave absolutely looks magnificent. Booking in advance is a MUST. as there is some days/ times where there is no tours at all. so make sure to book your ticket in advance before your plan your trip. I rated it 4 out of five because the tour wasn't well organised at all and there was absolutely no information that i need to arrive more than 30 min before the tour or i will miss the train. it should have been written in the website instead of making visitors wait for more than two hours for the next tour.

A beautiful place to walk. The tram/lift to the top is fast and allows you to look into the abyss you will see later on the tour. The tour is through a narrow walk way with many stairs, and a boat ride! Loved this tour. It was in Czech, but our friends translated the important parts. Nice gemstone gift shop, too.

This was one of the best experiences ever! We had a guide take us from Brno to the caves. So glad she handled the specifics. (as most areas there cash is king) We took the little train up to the cave entrance. The English phamplet described each spot perfectly. The boat ride out was awesome! Seeing the bottom of the abyss was beautiful! We rode the cable car up and viewed the abyss from above. Overall nice experience and peaceful. Would strongly recommend.

Excellent museum about Roma culture and history. Lots of objects and stories which will lead you as a visitor to a history of culture, persecution, and resilience of an often misunderstood community. Very interesting to read about linguistic similarities with Hindu/Bengali and the origins of Roma being referred to as Egyptians or Gypsy's. Museum is also based in a neighborhood near the community. Apparently the neighborhood has a bit of a reputation but I felt very safe and welcome. More information could be provided in English, since without th booklet I received it would have been difficult to read much since almost all the signs are in Czech.

I think this is the most interesting museum in Brno which is definitely worth the short trip from the city centre. Not only you learn some new things about Roma culture and history but you also support the community. The exhibition is colourfull, narrative, interactive and is tailored both for adults and kids.

Well-executed, interactive and informative museum. The information on the wall is in Czech, but booklets are available in German and English. I enjoyed the exhibition, it gives a throughout explanation of the origin, history and lifestyle of Romani culture.

An astonishingly intriguing place full of mysteries about one of the most poorly-known and understood cultures. All the four sections provide valuable and unforgettable insights into the culture that is so often misinterpreted.

Though it gets a little long toward the end of the museum in the post-WWII section, the early parts of the museum are wonderfully curated. For a people who have been repeatedly shat on, the information and displays remain incredibly unbiased and simply state facts. Provides behind-the-scenes looks and insights into the state of being the outsider or other. A museum not to be missed and easily the best thing in Brno.

We came back here after 2 years, and I liked it much more this time. We had a large family lunch, and everybody was pretty satisfied with the food (myself, I had chicken breast Ventricina salami, smoked cheese, and salad). Also, the desserts were quite nice, especially the tiramisu.

We had very wonderful time at La Patas. Place has one of the best ambience in Brno. They have very wide variety of Italian dishes . We tried different pastas and pizzas. All were tasty and just best. Best part of restaurant is they have one of the best play area for kids for different age groups. Kids can enjoy indoor plus outdoor play area. Staff is English speaking and very active .They helped for order with suggestions as per our taste buds.

We had pizzas and they also newly have glutenfree option, which was so good! Highly recommend, it was also quick :)

I loved my food, order came on time. You need to be careful on what you order and make sure waitress understood you. I do not wanted ham but ended up having a pizza with ham which they replaced happily and immediately. Waitress could have been more happy but that's typical Czech way I guess.

Brno is modernizing fast pace but mentality and service is still very much behind. Most of the restaurant staff desperately needs soft skills lessons. Today I ordered grilled cheese and I got salad with goat cheese. When I reported to the staff, one of the employees started arguing with me that I probably ordered salad, which I didn’t. I took the menu and said “ I specifically pointed to the waiter grilled goat cheese “ to which she replied, I quote “ we don’t look what you order”. LOL 😂 Who is supposed to look if not you? Even IF I ordered the salad, it was still missing few ingredients written on the menu. Either way, she was trying to make it like it’s my fault. What she should have done was to apologize and say let’s fix this for you. What an awful way to treat a customer who ordered one thing and now gets scolded because the waiter didn’t listen what I ordered 🤷🏻‍♀️. I came to have a nice Sunday lunch with my daughter but in most Czech restaurants it’s really a lottery if your day will get ruined. Also, food is not even that tasty for the price they charge. I don’t recommend at all. And if anyone from management would even bother to improve things, start with your staff: be polite, smile and grow some manners.

This is the best park in Brno in my opinion. It is very cozy and has beautiful nature that is incredibly captivating. A great place for picnics with friends or family walks. There are many different birds, squirrels are common and there is a beautiful lake with ducks. There are different areas with some playgrounds for children. The park can be visited at any time of the year. Summer is almost here, yesterday, June 15, 2025, the temperature reached 29 degrees. I was there, and it was great to be in Luzanky. However, I notice that the grass has not been taken care of yet. The grass is extremely tall. I see people having picnics with the grass bothering them. I have noticed this for 3 years now. I don't know when the city government started taking care of it so that people can enjoy the summer. Luzanky is one of my favorite places in Brno.

One of my favorite spots in Brno! Lužánky Park is the perfect escape from the city’s noise — peaceful, spacious, and beautifully maintained. Whether you’re up for a walk, a jog, a picnic, or just people-watching, this park has it all. There are always folks playing sports, walking their dogs, or enjoying a quiet moment on a bench. The trees offer great shade in the summer, and the changing seasons make it a lovely place to visit year-round. It’s also well-lit and feels safe even in the evening. Bonus points for being close to the city center and easily accessible by public transport or a short walk. A must-visit if you’re in Brno and want to reconnect with nature or just clear your mind 🍃

A really nice place in the middle of Brno

This is a nice, clean and calm park. Lot of colourful plants in the park during autumn. There are places for children and for exercising. There is a small lake in one corner. Ideal for nature lovers, jogging and watching sky.

We had to zip through this museum - wish we could have stayed longer. The permanent exhibits started with minerals so way back in the ancient past, then moved to dinosaurs and the medieval ages. The top floor has more recent history. All was interesting, I highly recommend it but this is only based on a cursory visit

This museum will tell you almost everything about the history of the Moravian region from from the prehistoric geological times all the way to the recent era. One of the central points is the focus on stone age civilisation who populated the area close to Brno tens of thousands years ago. Very nice traditions museum. Nothing is interactive and there is minimal english translation (I don't speak Czech). The objects themselves are really nice. Spend 2h there has fun!

There's a lot to see in the museum, from the Paleolithic to the present day. I definitely recommend it. A downside for foreigners is that most of the inscriptions and names are in Czech.

Quiet and spacious place for history and nature of Moravia. A great collection of minerals and precious stones, such a beauty!

I highly recommend visiting this museum. It consists of three floors, there is an elevator. Each floor has the appearance of a spiral, which allows you to gradually examine all the exhibits. I advise you to start from the first floor and move up, then you can move according to the chronological sequence. On the first floor there is a small separate section with the history of the development of comics. By the way, children will also be very interested, there is a TV that broadcasts cartoons, a board where you can draw your comic and a lot of props (wigs, hats, toy weapons). Also on the first floor fossils, dinosaurs and the process of formation of the Earth are shown. As well on the first floor there is an incredible collection of crystals and minerals, it was quite cool to see the countries of extraction and areas of application, as well as the crystal structure. On the second floor, it was possible to follow the development of life in the territory of Southern Morava, from the first tools to the Middle Ages. On the third floor, are already the 19th and 20th centuries, the Second World War and the Prague Spring. There are a lot of interactive exhibits absolutely everywhere, which increases curiosity and understanding of what is seen. The staff is also very pleasant, they speak Czech, English and Russian. You can buy inexpensive souvenirs at the cash desk. The photo below shows the view from the window of the museum.

Such a wonderful experience this was, watching these gorgeous butterflies flying around and being so cute! I definitely recommend to check this place out, maybe after a busy day as it's quite peaceful in there.

This is an amazing little place. It's hidden away in the middle of a small shopping center and we weren't sure we were heading the right way until we were actually there. The place is filled with lots of different butterflies (and a turtle)! It's nice and warm inside considering the cold outside and there are two floors to explore and enjoy the butterflies. I'm glad we visited and would definitely recommend it if you have an hour to spare.

The staff is very nice and explains everything you need to know before entering. The place is beautiful with a lot of friendly butterflies, turtles and birds. It is very hot inside but you can (and maybe have to?) leave your belongings in a cabinet, lock them in and keep the key while you are inside. Overall I had a great time and would recommend.

Amazing experience. It was my first time to a butterfly house and it was worth! I recommend it! It’s really warm inside (to match their habitat) so dress with layers if you go in winter!

Cute but very small and expensive. Payed 20€ for a family ticket, and you need 10 min to see all. Very hot inside so if you don’t have layers it can be a problem.

This place is very good and nice to go and have a look. I have seen a lot of butterflies in this place. Mostly good for adults and kids. The price was 170 koruna per adult. I think it’s good to review prices. I took many pictures in this place. Also they don’t provide WC for visitors. I would like to see more improvement next time.

So many smiles on the faces of young and old is worth it for itself. And the experience of a lot of small and huge butterflies flying around and sometimes landing on you is just nice. You can learn a lot too. There are closets for your coat (it's warm inside). It's a hidden gem in the middle of the city center.

I have a 7 month old and go here about three times a month. Great place for small children, good clean facilities, staff have always been lovely. I never felt pressured to leave. I usually go in the mornings, it's much quieter and the place is very clean. Unfortunately I went a few times in the afternoon and some parents just let their children run wild and are not even watching their children. (I know this is not the fault of the cafe or their staff) But a bigger child nearly ran into my baby, and another time I witnessed a child (parents weren't watching) hit someone else's newborn. Recommendation: Maybe the cafe staff when serving parents give a list or highlight the rules/guidelines (also if possible include foreign languages ) and remind the parents they still need to mind their children when at the cafe and to treat it like they were visiting someone's home as unfortunately I see the cafe being destroyed..😔 If not followed give a warning and make it more accessible to allow parents to complain if other children are not behaving or parents aren't paying attention to their children. As it's a lovely place with a lot of effort put in to make it a safe and fun place for parents and children. So it's a shame to see it be destroyed just because of some neglectful parents.

Amazing place for kids to play in the city center. Being inside an old monastery building, there is constantly nice inside temperature even without air-conditioning. There are all facilities one needs for a toddler or even smaller babies, while there are toys and books interesting enough for babies as well as for pre-school kids. Parents can enjoy good loose tea, coffee, and cuscus. When the little ones grow hungry, there are some sweet mesh offerings and cakes.

For kids, Bruno Family Park is a wonderland- giant slides, trampolines, bumper cars, underground tunnels, a zip line, water park, and so much more. On a Wednesday morning around 10:10 a.m. my six-year-old daughter and I visited for the day. Here’s our experience. 1) Admission: Arriving ten minutes after it opened, we waited in line for just under 10 minutes. At the reception, you’re given a bracelet for a locker and how you charge food. You pay for everything, including the admission, at the end as you leave. 2) Amenities: There’s inside and an outside areas. Inside, there are tunnels, trampolines, slides, climbing ropes, and more. Outside is the water area, a bird-nest-themed playground and a machine that spins. For 25 CZK per ticket purchased at the reception, you can ride the bumper cars, the boats, and jump on the outdoor blob. My daughter’s favorites were the tunnels, zip line, blue slides, bumper cars, the blob, and the trampoline closest to the cafe. There’s also one cafe that serves hot and cold food. The prices are i falter comparably, but also not horrible. 3) Service: Staff are throughout and helpful. A few of them speak English. Overall, we loved our visit. We spent most of the day there to get our money’s worth!

The best family park of this type I have ever been! There are so many attractions indoors for kids all ages. Although a few of them you have to pay extra. In summer, there’s also an outdoor part. There is a buffet and also a restaurant which offer all, for kids and adults. And what is also important that’s clean!!!

Just amazing for young kids. Well thought out, clean and enough to do for hours. We were there on a Monday afternoon and it was great.

Perfect place to visit with kids. A lot of attractions and it never felt full. Good selection of meals in the inner restaurant. One star down - the outdoor part was closed despite weather was great - sunny, no rain. The air inside is quite "used" so being able to go out for a fresh breath would be very welcome.

Bruno Family Park has so many great attractions for all ages – everything was super clean and well organized. We were especially impressed by the restaurant, the food was absolutely delightful! A perfect spot for a full day of fun.

Absolutely stunning place for all the family to have a fun day out. Food and drink is good too as well as the service. My daughter who is 5 years old really enjoyed her day here. It had so many things to entertain her. The outside area is also excellent with a good variety of activities and rides. The place is spotless too, the cleaning standards are the best I've ever seen. Maybe this place could be nice but when we were here, the whole place was overcrowded. Our nearly two years old daughter could nearly do nothing, cause the other (older) kids behaved as in a warzone. Many attractions had a long queue, e.g. the auto scooter. Our 8 years old son had a lot of fun, but I would not come back. Side node: the outdoor area was closed due to the latest rain. One positive thing was, that the entrance was limited so that not more people come in before others leave. We left the park after twenty minutes and when I asked if we should pay the full price (I explained here the reasons), she let us go without paying anything. At least that's something and the reason for the 4 stars.

The place itself is very aesthetic. But at the time we arrived (approx 18:00) it was very unpleasantly crowdy. Also the showers pressure in the womens showers is veeery strong, it hurts even on the skin how strong it is. And I was told that in men's showers it was not working very well and it was more dripping than actually showering. Bad balance i guess. What is positive is the procing though. I have multisport, so I had 90 minutes entrance for "free", but also the prices for the aquapark itself normally are so good - mainly for brno. The slide is fun. The Wild river is not very Wild but I guess its enough for kids.

If you’re coming to swim or to relax don’t come here! Swimming pool was full of kids taking swimming lessons and no place for other people in the swimming pool. I came here to swim but spend more time in the whirlpool that was nice.

The staff are not friendly and you feel like you are not welcome.

This place is way too small for the price it charged. Ps… hot tub is always full, we never get a chance to go in, same as steam room, Full of people. Extra money for sauna… etc Bar: no food after 830pm even it saids kitchen close at 9pm. Reception never mention when you check in that u will have to pay 21czk per 6mins if u stay longer than 90mins! Which was a ripoff, I won’t be back :(

Good place to spend a time with kids. There are swimming pools with different sizes and depths, toboggan and other fun water stuff. It's not the experience as visit Pasohlávky Aqualand Moravia, but for Brno citizens is good enough. ;)

It’s clean, well maintained, the price is very decent, and I always get a good swim here as it isn’t too crowded. The steam room is also great! The gym sucks though, almost no equipment for a decent workout.

Very nice Aqua park in the middle of the city. It has gym, 4 pools (kids, relax, swimming, roof top pool), small restaurant, jacuzzi, steam sauna and a water slide. You can pretty much spend the whole day here. Staff is nice and kind facilities are always clean and look very nice. Unfortunately it tends to be crowded sometimes and its better to check if there are pool reservations scheduled on their webpage. Other than that, its a very nice place :)

The place is good for children to have a fun time. Here they can play, jump, run... Parents will have a long day of exercises. What could give some criticism to the prices of the meals in the place: they are somewhat expensive. I recommend that you bring something from home or buy something at the market next to the playground. Otherwise, I recommend that you take your children to the place.

Good place for kids, parents can get a little bored, but generally its ok. The only thing that is a real horror its a "snack-bar" that takes a huge amount of time in the line... seriously- for that number of people only two staff in there? Spent 20 minutes to get a coffee, so strongly recommending- bring your own food/drinks, you might not be able to get some in here...

Very haphazard and temporary-looking with a layout that makes supervision difficult. They could use more safety & supervisory staff or maybe not charge the doprovod fee since more adults are needed to try keep an eye on the kids. Surprised they get a licence for this.

I rate this with one star only because of the 100 Kc credit card minimum payment policy. I really hope you reconsider this limitation. After spending 500 kc admission fee and 200 kc for snacks, the cashier couldn't sell me 4 go cart chips for 40 kc. I would have to buy at least 10 rides to meet this restriction. My kids were disappointed and you lost 40 kc and one visitor :-)

This is a really cute coffee shop for parents. It has great wooden toys for toddlers, you can bring your kid to play while enjoying drinks and desserts. It becomes quite busy so it's a good idea to book in advance.

It would be extremely helpful if the items on the menu had allergens listed. I asked for a hot chocolate assuming it’s made from the cocoa powder. When my daughter had an allergic reaction I asked the staff and she showed me they basically chop a “Kaštany” bar, which contains hazelnuts , and mix it with milk. And that’s 65kč!!! At least get some quality cocoa for that price. The place is ok. Maybe more suited for smaller kids.

If you are looking for a well located baby coffee place with nice toys slides friendly stuff quite good parking nearby and option to go for nice walk. This place check all the boxes and more. From my experience this is one of the best baby coffe in Brno. I really like how is the space designed to be maximally baby friendly. There are two parts first entry part with the bar and tables and second part with tables and playing are seamlessly connected as the whole floor has foam cover. So it's nice soft on touch and safe even for the smallest. They have nice coffee, tasty homemade lemonade with fruit inside and more tasty treats to order. We will definitely come back. Last thing I would recommend is to call ahead to book your place as we heard that this place can get quite crowded during winter and rainy days. When it's nice weather outside I would definitely recommend to walk up to the Spilberk castle.

Peaceful escape just outside the city! Brno Reservoir is the perfect spot to relax, take a walk, or enjoy a sunset by the water. Great for picnics, boat rides, or just clearing your head. It gets busy on weekends, but the views are worth it. Bonus: lots of ice cream stands and chill summer vibes.

We went for a digitarium show, it was great, however tourists bare in mind everything the presenter says is in czech. We did get english audio over earphones but that was just for the show.

I always wanted to visit this place, but because of work and studies, I could never find the right time. When I came back from my vacation, I decided not to wait any longer even though I was tired, I gave up my rest day and finally made the trip from Třebíč. And I’m so glad I did. The moment I saw that incredible planet installation, it felt almost magical calm, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. Standing there under the glowing moon surrounded by people in awe, I felt a deep sense of peace and gratitude. It was truly worth the effort, and I left feeling inspired and thankful. If you ever get the chance to visit Planetarium Brno, don’t miss it it’s an unforgettable experience.🪐🌕🌎

Opposite to Namesti Miru tram station. Very huge planets as shown in my pictures and videos. There are toilet facilities. I saw a little place near the entrance selling ice cream and you can pay by card. There is also a place there where you can buy beer or coffee or cold drinks.

Really quiet on monday. We only visited the outside and rooftop terrace. Possible to purchase 2d and 3d tours. On the negative side, most of the signs and price list only in Checz.

Whether you are an astronomy buff or just want to learn more about the earth, the moon, the planets and the stars, Brno Observatory will never disappoint you. It offers many interesting educative programs throughout the year. Occasionally, there are also open-air actions such as the festival of planets showcasing 10m in diameter big inflatable models of the earth and other planets, which are spectacular to see especially after dusk when the models are nicely lit.

Lovely place to be at for astronomy enthusiasts, or anyone really. No need to reach into your pocket, it's free to enter. Insightful information about all things astronomy is provided in Czech, German, and English.

The place is run by enthusiasts. The guys working at the observatory seem to really like what they do. From few experiences that I have, I dare to say that whatever event or activity will you go for, you will always learn a lot and information will be handed over in an entertaining way. I have already tried to go 2 times for night sky observing, but unfortunately, it was never the actual observing of the night sky, due to weather conditions. This is not a problem of the place, of course. But count with that possible situation and don't be disappointment if it happens to you. You will still hear a lot of useful and interesting fun facts about the universe and the sky above us.

Small but highly interactive and inspiring museum. The manuscripts and exhibits of instruments and objects used by Mendel himself are most valuable. Even walking in the garden and greenhouse outdoors where once Mendel himself was laying the seeds and harvesting the results of his observations literally was most inspiring. For that, I'm grateful for the scientists, historians and personnel who worked tirelessly to preserve all the invaluable gems of humanity for the future generations. Only drawback is the closing time is too soon.

It's a small but nice and interactive museum, there's a lot of info on his biography, discoveries, and belongings. Visiting the museum is a great way to easily learn about him and his work, and the second half of the museum is full of interactive activities, making it great for kids. Be aware of the fact that vising the libraries you see in Photos here requires visiting another building with a prebooked guide. For the museum itself you buy the tickets when you enter, I think it was 3€ for students. Overall it was a nice experience, maybe I expected it to be a little bigger (basically only half the museum is about him exclusively).

A small museum with significant history. As a learner of genetics, this is a must-visit as part of pilgrimage. Pretty well preserved, although some parts of the abbot couldn't survive the test of time.

Museum is great and the abbey very nice; I ordered a guided tour (by email), because some parts are not accessible without it, and was the only attendee. Just had a two-hour educational experience (and a good one) all to myself. The most important thing is to go to the library— it will impress you even if you do not care about genetics— a small baroque gem. The story behind the museum is also very optimistic— just a smart guy who came to an augustinian monastery to make science and delivered big time. He didn’t get his due while alive, but he knew that the history will redeem him. And totally without drama; a nice garden, a smartly built greenhouse, the bees, the flowers, a supportive abbot, a placetime devoid of carnage. Just close the eyes and think what a nice world it would be, if all human curiosity would be satisfied in such uneventful and gemütlich way.

Small but very nice museum, perfect if you have limited time in Brno. The entrance fee is only 100 CZK. Inside is well designed, though the main entrance could be more visible. No souvenirs when I visited – a pea-themed magnet would be fun. There’s also a small, local café. Overall, worth a stop. Thanks for all employees.

Mendel who gave me a hard time in middle and high school. The place where his achievements were made. It was interesting to see him in real life that I had only seen in textbooks. Student discounts are available for 100 koruna. It's a shame that his greenhouse has become modernized.

For anyone interested in the discovery of the (human) genome throughout history, this is a must-see. Familiar with Mendel's work, it's a refresher; for those still unfamiliar, it's a revelation. A relatively small museum with authentic documents, child-friendly, and easily accessible.

Beautiful place to visit. Not too big but lovely. Inside there is exhibition about Jew community in Brno you should visit. Beside interior you can visit lovely garden and have really good coffe. Also you can eat nice cakes there. Recommend it for light tourist destination.

Unfortunately, my experience at this villa was quite disappointing and I don't think it was worth the 30-minute visit. While the villa certainly has a rich history, I found that the interior lacked substance and wasn't very engaging. Compared to nearby attractions like Villa Tugenhat, which is only a minute away, I would not recommend this villa to others looking for an interesting and worthwhile destination. Villa Tugenhat offers a much more immersive and engaging experience, with a variety of interesting exhibits and beautiful architectural features.

This museum is a must see for everyone interested in art nouveau and modern architecture. The exhibition reveals a lot about the Löw-Beer family and 19th century Brno. There are a few exhibits about the Villa Tugendhat. Combined with visiting both gardens, it almost compensates for the lack of entrance tickets to Villa Tugendhat in the foreseeable future.

Beautiful architecture and awesome backyard gardens. The gardens are open and free to visit. It has a cafe outside in the gardens where you can sit, but there are plenty of benches all over the backyard. It also has an alternative entrance to the Villa Tugendhat. But you must have a ticket to unlock the gate. The visits inside the house are still not available due covid, but soon it will be.

I had an amazing experience in this place. I went through their exhibitions on "Brno through a panorama" and I got to play detective in one of their exhibitions. Beautiful memories and experience awaits you at the Villa Low-Beer.

Je to male, ale je to nase. Standardni sluzby, ve srovnani s ostatnimi letisti je poznat, ze personal nema takove zkusenosti a nektere ukony jsou trosku delsi (treba bezpecnostni prohlidky). Ale je to male, je nase a je to za barakem. It's small, but it's our. You will find standart set of service. You might notice that the staff might not have such experience, and some procedures (e.g. security check) would take a bit longer that usual. But it's small, and it's our and it is next to our door.

Possibly the worst airport I have ever traveled from. The staff are unbelievably rude, and have interest in being helpful. The staff on the check in desk can't manage simple maths, 20kg + 20kg + 40kg. This airport always runs late, not helped by the dreadful layout. One good thing though, there is a piano free for anyone to play and use (nice touch) until the staff tell you to stop playing it because it's noisy! I will genuinely have to consider my travel plans in future avoiding this airport.

The airport is small but fine, once through to the gate there are only vending machines. So come prepared with snacks etc. My only issue and why I gave one star is due to the piano, someone played badly the whole time we were here. Please remove this, or monitor its use. Not everyone wants to hear constant noise while waiting for their flight. Abuse to my ears!

How I love that this place exists! Surely, there are better and bigger airports, but this one makes at least some connections with the world for people living in Brno. Entrance to the country was well and fast handled, even with a lot of people in queues. Thumb up for people working there for that! Parking outside is totally full and it might be a problem to park when there is a plane landing and multiple people has arrived by car to pick someone up. And the parking is also paid.

It’s a nice small airport has lot’s of potential, it can become hub better than Prague

Nice and cozy pizzeria. Often crowded, thanks to tasty pasta and pizzas. They even think about small eaters and offer nice variety of children food. You can put them in children playroom, so you can eat in peace. It is better to call for reservation. There are not very much parking spots, if full, you can use big parking place by nearby Lidl shop. One star down is for smaller offer from drought beers and sodas

Awesome, even fantastic food all the way around. We were three adults and all of us had excellent food. The only complaint is it took a long time to get the food. It was worth it for sure. Just keep that in mind. The personnel were very good too. Pleasant, curious etc. It just to a long time to prepare. We ordered barbeque ribs; chef salad; and Gnocchi.

A few friends have reported getting food poisoning from this place. The most recent one is comparing her state to how she felt after drinking tap water in Bali... This is not normal, do better... If hygiene services did their jobs you'd be closed already.

Had a great burger, wife's pizza was good. Carbonate was a little stodgy. Great service and plenty of seats. Everyone was sat outside because of the weather so it was quiet inside where we sat. I will come back here, worth a try for reasonably priced, local food.

If I could I would give -10 stars. I went with my family and babies from church to eat something, it was many tables available, but they said that we couldn’t go in, they didn’t want to receive us. It was awful and disrespectful. Never going bacK AND DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

Great place, nice, clean water. Grass is being maintained. One can also purchase chair or relax chair and be right next to the pool. There is a bar and place to get some food also restaurant Butchers is available (prepare your wallet for the prices). Sometimes DJ is here and my personal opinion is to stay away while this is happening. Too noisy, music is annoying and horrible, can't hear my own thoughts. Negative thing is also, no lockers are available for valuables, you need to keep eye on them.

I’m coming here for many years, this year they started to steal customers and Multisport company. I came at 13:20 and they told me ‘you wait 30 mins and we will let you go through for free with multisport’. I came at 14:00 and they changed me 50 CZK and still changed my multisport 😳 a complain will go today to Multisport 💪

We normally love this place but this week it was quite dirty so I can't give it 5 stars. Maybe there had been a lot of people that day but I think some cleaning through the day would be possible.

They have an evening swim hours 19:00-21:00 and when I came here at 20:00, they told me the cashier is closed already and they can't let us in. What's the point of having this rule and not having it visible on your website? So stupid

Excellent swimming pool. One kids, one 50 m for adults with swimming lines. Two bistros and one bar with fine cocktails. One side has enough shade from trees or you can go on sunbeds. I can recommend 👍

Nice place to swim and chill. Family friendly too.

One of the best experiences we’ve had! The standard course is pretty challenging and quite long. We were two adults and two kids (ages 9 and 12). My wife didn’t finish it, but the kids made it all the way to the end. It took us about an hour and a half to complete. There are other routes too — one for smaller kids, and a more extreme one for thrill-seekers. After finishing the standard course, I tried the extreme route and barely finished it — you definitely need upper body strength and stamina for that one! The staff was absolutely amazing. They spoke English, were very polite. Everyone received proper instructions and equipment before climbing, and the staff was available to help on the course if needed. Really great service. You can get there easily by tram or bus, and the walk across the park A must-do experience in Brno for anyone who enjoys this kind of activities. Our kids had a blast, and so did we. We’ll definitely be coming back!

A nice sporty attraction for couples, families, friends. The hard difficulty track (Serchan) is a nice challenge and you will 100% get sweaty and tired.

Excellent experience for all kids. Exciting. The only downside: The children’s full-body climbing harnesses are slightly worn but still safe and functional.

Great place for an outdoor adventure with your family, kids and friends. Various difficulty levels to suit everyone’s liking. We took one with ‘Junior’ middle level difficulty and found it to be quite challenging for our family of 3 (including a 12 year old). The good things is that if you get tired right in the middle of your course, you can always ask for help and their super friendly staff can get your down easily using a ladder. I saw a few people using this option after completing about 50% of their course. A nice additional touch is - after you pay the charges and getting hooked to the harness, you have to cross a small river on a zip line to start the obstacles. And once you are done, you have to cross the river again on that zip line to get back to the entrance. It was so much fun. The staff speaks good English and they are very helpful. They also accept card payment. A few things to note - First: the parking situation is confusing. We had to park on the main driving road outside and walk through a small gate that had ‘Jungle Park Cafe’ board. There was no mention on the board about where to park the car. Second: I wish we either had our own hand gloves for better grip or we could have bought them at the entrance along with the park tickets. It would have helped us greatly. Third: if you have someone with you who doesn’t want to do the obstacle courser and just want to sit and enjoy the greenery; they don’t have to pay the entrance fees. But the cool things is that they still get a harness and can cross the river (and back). They can simply wait for you to be done and cross the river back along with you. It’s like getting a free river crossing zip line for them for free!!

I know this is a training cafe, but someone also needs to get into the kitchen and teach how to poach an egg. We received what looked more like hard boiled eggs, not poached. And the coffee was not even Luke warm. Prices are no cheaper than anywhere else so unimpressed. And also teach wait staff not to chew gum when working the floor. Presentation was 10/10, but taste below par.

Even though most of the waiters and waitresses are practicing students, they really did put in their effort in providing a good service! The coffee and cake are very nice, and the atmosphere is great too. I love sitting at the window and just staring at the street. Beautiful place. Gardens are not growing yet in April, but inside the greenhouse it’s like a tropical paradise. Each room in the greenhouse has an audio guide.

I visit this garden every few months. It’s perfect for taking a walk and getting some fresh air in the middle of the rushed city. The garden has many amazing expositions throughout the whole year. The greenhouses are worth visiting and the ticket to get in is very cheap. They offer students price as well.

Amazing experience! We took our family there for mother's Day. Flowers were spectacular, and the outside has many beautiful sightings! It's even divided by countries or places (Himalayan, Japan, USA, etc)! Don't forget to look up at the awesome and majestic trees that grow there as well. We visited the inside as well and couldn't believe how much fun we had. The inside has many palms, cacti and beautiful views and many places to take cool photos. TLDR: I definitely recommend this place!

RoSSa Cafe is a great place for kids! We celebrated the birthday of my daughter and were very happy with our decision. The cafe is big enough and has toys for different ages. We had the party decorations and meals prepared from the cafe. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed it a lot! Only there wasn't music in the Cafe but I guess if we have asked for it there would be some.

Nice coffee shop for kids, they have many toys for both babies and toddlers, some indoors slides and pool with the small plastic balls. They also offer a variety of desserts to enjoy along with coffee.

But I stopped eating in the middle as I didn't enoy it much. Restaurant can be quite full like at our visit so you may have problem to park (restaurant has parking lot but not as big to fit all guests). We had a mishap with reservation when we were seated to wrong table and in an hour we had to move to our original table as we were bigger company, however all was very polite and without problems. I’ve been coming here since 2014. but I’m disappointed to say that in recent years the quality has really declined :( My 8 year old and I come for dinner and salad was dry, potatoes cold. A place where both children and adults can learn something. I visited the museum specifically for Amazonia exhibition and I wasn't disappointed. I spent two hours just by exploring what the exhibition offers. I'm glad that besides the permanent exhibition there are also these temporary ones. Staff members, both lady at the cash desk and the lady checking the tickets at the entrance of the exhibition, were really nice.

It's okay for wasting 2 hours of time (for example a small trip with kids before lunch). As many reviews say, the equipment and expositions are outdated, covered by spider webs and dust. I came here with kids just because we were in MAMUZ Mistelbach (Ice age exposition) so we wanted to see how it's done in Brno. Frankly, it was way better in Mistelbach as it was designed for kids - a lot of interactive elements (we could make a flute out of a bone, built a teepee, match teeth with animals and other). There was a kids corner in Mistelbach with lots of papers and colored pencils (including sharpener). In Brno, there were a few of them and even without a sharper (it felt a bit unmaintained). It is a small museum in the middle of a wooded area. Its design with four floors (a basement).On the ground floor of the museum is a ticketing place with a drink counter. The basement is displaying some artifacts of oil paintings (original). On the second floor are some of the primates' skeleton and Lucy's skeleton. Lovely place we visited at Sunday evening. Very quiet and almost no customers at that time. Hibiscus ice tea was great. Mainly people go there for breakfast and love it.

This is my favorite study spot in Brno! Good coffee, delicious pastries, and a solid fruit bowl. The waiters have always been friendly even though I don't speak Czech (this is not the case in many places). The noise level and atmosphere are great for getting some work done; they even have a separate room in the back for families with kids.

Nice building but don’t expect a lot of assistance. Personnel there just stared at us as we came in and hesitantly answered questions. Note this is an information center definitely not a welcome center.

Me and my daughter came to Brno. On sunday, half an hour before closing time we went to buy Brnopass for three days. I specificaly said, that we want the Brnopass validation from monday to wednesday. Nice girl behind the counter made it from sunday till tuesday tho. I wasn't checking the dates till we came to Brno ZOO and they said that our card expired. They saw our faces and let us in for free. We forgave the mistake and would still buy the Brnopass there. 🙂

Nice and lovely people although we did not receive our post card when we bought the BRNO pass. Also, no one let us know that the townhall tower was closed (advertised as opened on Wednesday). Additionally, the Zoo has a last admissions time of 16:00 which of course no one let us know as well. Overall, not a place I will visit again.

Incredible beautiful Iris and Orchids at Botanical Gardens from Mendel University ! The Garden is clean and well maintained. Ideal for plant lovers and to study and spend leisure here. I wish they will adapt the possibility to visit the garden during the weekend. We visited the garden during the IRIS 2022 exhibition. During that period the Irises have bloomed and was wonderful !

It is a beautiful Botanical Garden with lot of colourful and rare plants. There are pool for colourful fishes and carnivorous plants are also seen nearby the pool. During autumn the colour looks vivid. The Garden is clean and well maintained. It is a serene atmosphere inside. Ideal for plant lovers and to study and spend leisure here. Thank you.

Beautiful garden where you can spend at least 3 hours. Also there is a tent from where you can buy coffee,tea and some sweets. Now you can pay via card.

Amazing garden full of small paths to discover, and it smells lovely. During our visit it was super quiet; we’ve seen more frogs than visitors. The entrance is hidden on the north east and looks like it’s the back entrance, and you pay in the first building you walk past.

This I very nice and quiet park. A lot of paths and small pathways. If you are searching for a quiet place to stay in brno this is it. I saw 2 other peaple and there are ponds with fish in them. There is a old stadium next to it witch looks really cool and it is very exesible. Coverall a very good experiense.

Beautiful. Splendid garden in the middle of brno. Variety of flora of all types.very well maintained. Would definitely visit again if time permits.

Awesome place to learn about plants and relax. There are many benches and it's allowed to sit on grass. 🌱🧡👌🏻
