Traditional fine dining with nice details, like the mint leaves and lemon served with water. The garlic soup with quail eggs was delicious. For main course my wife and I shared the smoked pork ribs, generous portion and served with the Olomouc fried cheese and cabbage. Great local foodie experience!

The food was great, everything served was tasty, although pricey. Staff was also super friendly. Which is a shame because the place feels like a tourist trap. Besides the price (more expensive than a lot of restaurants in Prague) there are condiments on the table inviting you to try them with a small card informing that if you do they will charge you extra. Why even do this if your food and service is great?

Czech cuisine at its best. Very beautiful restaurant with solid service and tasty food. Only thing I can complain that there is no drink menu. Waiter just asks what you want. Price is ok.

Good place to go for lunch if you'd like to try local cuisine. Location of the restaurant is great, can't be missed once sightseeing the square. Food was very tasty, even though bit more expensive than other restaurants with similar type of cuisine. Inside and outside seating was available once we came. As I mentioned already food was delicious and service staff was nice as well. There are few catches though. Once you sit, almonds and bread sticks are available at the table for you, but be careful, they are not free of charge. Small note by the condiments will advise you about that. By the time you see the note, you're munching on them already. Also, for specials. They are listed on a chalk board by the entrance, but without their price. Ask for the price before you order any of those, as they are much more expensive compared to the regular ala cart menu.

Right at the town’s main square. Not overly crowded (Thursday evening), reasonably priced. Very friendly and attentive service team. Good food quality although we had to wait for the order delivery for quite a long time. Big portions of meat, small portions of fish. Both nice.

Best resturance in Moravia for traditional Czech food and also a homemade beer, superb dishes from first dishes to the deserts, main courses are ofcourse also more than excellent and everything there is as good as it can get, including all the above which is all 5 stars rated, would have gave way more if was possible, highly recommended!

Great beer and great food. We sat outside in the park seating and we had wonderful seating and the service is so friendly and helpful. We tried all their beers and they were all fantastic. Also the food was so well prepared and presented not to mention delicious. Highly recommend visiting.

Good beer and nice atmosphere! Stopped by a sunny evening mid July to give the local brews a try, and it did not disappoint. 64 Kz (22 NOK) for two beers, could have stayed for hours.. Nice atmosphere in the beer garden, but the waitors could be a bit more observant and service minded. Recommended!

I came in here for dinner with my buddy. Our server was the sweetest old Czech lady. She did not speak any English, but she did not let that get in the way of giving us outstanding service. One side of the menu was in Czech, and the other side in English. She would switch back and forth from one side to the other to take our orders. We had beers, and a nice traditional Czech meal. I was really glad we came here.

Came to Olomouc for two day visit, after several hour in train we were looking for something to eat. We found this Drapal restaurant and eat classic Czech Tatarák which was really great. Since food was 5 star and personal 4 iam giving 4,5 rating and recommending for lunch or dinner.

My favorite place in Olomouc. I’ve been visiting it several times a year since 2014. It has a great atmosphere. They serve excellent beers, I love the draft non-alcoholic pomelo. The menu is traditional Czech, short, and changes from time to time.

Due to the category of the restaurant and its prices, this is not your everyday restaurant to go to. But it's surely an amazing choice for special or more official occasions, for both business and personal reasons. I and my boyfriend went to the restaurant to celebrate and we chose the longest tasting menu the place offers. Each meal was a small masterpiece. I especially liked starters, as I found them interesting and playful. I also tried non-alcoholic drink pairing that is prepared for the tasting menus. This was adding to the taste of the meals and it was creating unique taste combinations. But the drinks were also too sweet for me, so the next time I would try the tasting menu without the non-alcoholic drink pairing. One thing to mind, music might be a bit too loud sometimes. Or maybe it's just some tables. Our was in a corner and there might have been echo from the walls around. I really recommend the place, as I believe that you won't be disappointed. And I also recommend to plan your visit long enough in advance, as the reservations spots are booked out few weeks in advance.

Exceptional 12 course tasting! It took 3 hours to get through it, so take enough time to enjoy it. One star down for location at a busy crossroad. The atmosphere gets better after dusk when you see reflection of the restaurant in the window glass.

Unbelievably amazing meal. This place is Michelin Star worthy for sure. Everything was exceptional and beyond expectations. Food perfect (and interesting), wine pairings fantastic and great attentive but not intrusive service.

A great place to hang out with friends after work or study. A very atmospheric place that takes you to an Irish pub. Prices are certainly higher than in other Czech bars, but the beer tastes better here too. The waiters are friendly and welcoming, which is very pleasing.

Cool Irish bar. I ordered a whisky that was recommended by our very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable bartender. We were there on a Monday night, so surprisingly, it wasn't the best atmosphere for an Irish bar. But the venue itself is cute (small but has character).

Really cool whiskey bar (and beer and spirits) in a horse stable from the 1500s. Worth a visit just for the ambiance. Friendly owner and staff. No hot food is prepared on site but they do have good cold snacks available.

It's always a pleasure to visit Black Suff - the only place in Olomouc where you can have a pint of Guinness + cute shamrock on the top ☘️ the pub is spacious, you can make online reservation in advance. Staff is professional and very nice too. 😊

This place is my favorite in Olomouc. Coffee is really good as well as summer drinks. Breakfasts will suit all the different tastes. Lately I've tried tosts with salad and cappuccino. I'm not a big fan of paprika because of its smell, but this paprika salad was in honey, so it covered all the smell.

Great place to have a coffee in peace. They offer both indoor and outdoor skating and both are comfortable and have a very beautiful furniture. Outside they provide blankets so that you can sit also when it's cold. I will surely come back.

We visited as a group of 11, consisting of two families with children. The café was very busy and crowded, and unfortunately the menu options were quite limited. Surprisingly, there were no pancakes or waffles available for the kids. When we asked the waitress about alternatives, she responded rather abruptly with, “I can’t deal with this right now.” It seemed she was overwhelmed and unable to accommodate a larger family group. A real pity, as we had high hopes for the experience. Sadly, we wouldn’t recommend this place for family dining.

We tried to get something to eat. It was really hot and they only served food outside. The only table left was the one in the direct sun. We asked the Staff about any possibilities of getting seated in the shade, but they did nothing. So we moved the table half a metre to sit in the shade. Immediately (!) a server appeared and started shouting at us for moving the table. She was really rude and didn't offer any alternative. We left immediately. We're really disappointed with this experience in such a touristy city.

Awesome restaurant in the city centre of Olomouc. Historical place for the region of Bohemia. The place is very cozy with delicious food and drinks at very affordable prices. Definitely worth visiting if you're interested in the old Czech atmosphere. I'd definitely like to visit it again.

90% of tables outside were free, as no service person in sight we sat at one. The waiter stayed away and refused to serve us. So different from all the other friendly czech people !!!

The food is good here. I usually like coming here. I am here and I did not see the step up to get into this dining room. I tripped and fell on my face. I am in my 60' and in January, I broke 2 bones in my shoulder. I fell less than 10 feet from the owner and 2 servers. No one even customers asked if I was okay, or tried to help me up. The servers just giggled. I'm embarrassed and very disappointed with the staff present. The pizza was good but I was so embarrassed, I left after eating just 1 slice.

Hmmm ... hard to say and judge this restaurance. Inside like old style Dublins pub rather loudly but Czechs like speak loudly. I took starter "tatar" and main dish steak. Tatar good steak not bad but it tasted a bit sour and I do not why.(sauce and potatos perfect). So food I would propose 4 but for service 5. Nice young girl cared what I needed. Very good. Price compered to other restourante in Olomouc higher than average price in the center.

If you are not satisfied, really do not like the food and returning the food to the kitchen, you will recieve shocking response: no one else complained...so pay for it. Upon our arrival to Olomouc, we stopped in for a beer on our way to the market for some provisions and decided to come back for dinner. Not only did the food being served smell and looked good but the service was incredible! Petra went above and beyond to communicate with us english speakers to answer our food questions! The other servers were also friendly but Petra is a Rock Star. We had garlic soup, ribs and a burger and fries…all dishes good. We’ll be back…at least for a beer ;)

Tried to eat here, but the kitchen had shut up early. A few locals drinking beer, but the place was largely empty at 20:30 in the evening.

Fun restaurant and bar that is in historical wall of the city. I got the Jalapeño burger and it was good, the bun was a little too big though. My wife got the Veggie burger and it wasn’t cooked well, very pasty inside. As a whole it is a fun place with a pretty large menu.

They want you to pay 100 kc entry just to drink a beer.

One of the worst meals we all have ever had anywhere. Seriously. We had duck and some salad that was awfully bitter, the schnitzels were Very low quality and the potato salad was the worst thing I have ever tasted and also bitter! The beef broth soup was sour and the noodles were hard if that’s even possible??? Great service though as far as servers. I would say the great food reviews are fake- it’s impossible for anyone from anywhere eat this food.

A nice and friendly place suitable also for vegetarians and vegans. I had brussel sprouts, which I normally don't like very much, but in the combination with chickpies and salty feta cheese they were delicious, a perfect, healthy and light diner. I also appreciated a large selection of non-alcoholic drinks including herbal soda (lavender, nettle...) or many different teas. The staff were very nice, bathroom was clean, nothing to say against this place. If I ever visit Olomouc again, I will definitely consider eating here again.

Unfortunately, both times I came here the food wasn’t good. Everything tasted like it was seasoned with the same seasonings or sauce. I tried many different things and didn’t enjoy any of it. For this cafeteria quality and atmosphere, the price is way too high. You can get much better food in a restaurant for the same price.

I came here last week, the day of italian cuisine. It was italian adapted to local taste, but still the food was good (especially the dessert, panna cotta with cherries on the top). It seems homemade, it is reasonnably priced, the staff is smiling and polite, and everything is very clean. Honestly, I don't understand some of the comments. For me it is to recommend without any hesitation.

It`s more a canteen than a restaurant, but a perfect one. They`re friendly, it`s clean, prices are fair and most important the food is really tasty. Try the desserts - they´re more than worth the few extra crowns.

I have been there only once but my husband used to go there a lot in the past. Food is just avarege, even tho some foods are vegan do not expect high quality. Many things seem to contain sugar. Since past price got a bit higher and food quality decreased (according to my husband). Plus it is very crowded.

We ate thick beef soup, fried chicken steak and had two beers at this restaurant today. It is reasonably priced and the food and service was great. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside in the fresh air. I would go back and I recommend for others to give it a go.

Entered this restaurant where one can expect meat on the dish. Being Easters weekend we asked for something vegetarian. The cook prepared a forrest mushroom risotto - full of porcini 💕 A kind of ragout... The cheese was transformed into a very thin crispy chips and sprinkled on top. The dish was one of the best mushroom risottos I tasted so far. After this nice experience, we were served coffee and the desert: chocolate muffin with vanille icecream and forrest fruit. Joy and happiness! The staff even coped with our particular sense of humor and was kind and attentive. Prices are high enough to proudly invite someone you care about.

Ordered the ribs. They come cold, we sent them back and we received a new lot of ribs. They were swimming in water like they were microwaved. As for the jack Daniels sauce there was none. Theese ribs didn't see a grill. This restraunt compared to the one in hradec kralove is a massive let down.

Nakoľko som tu bol na kongrese a v rámci registrácie som tu mal obed i večeru a pred odchodom dokonca obed, ktorý však už nebol "v rámci" , ale z menu, mám odvahu napísať, že skutočne nevedia variť. Okúsil som rozvarené cestoviny, rozvarené rizoto (inak by bolo chutné, ale bolo žiaľ kašovité), "výpečky" bez chuti, zemiakový šalát suchý jak cesta, neochutenú zeleninu, najhoršiu polievku minestrone, akú som kedy okúsil. Držím palce, nech sa im podarí to do budúcnosti zlepšiť.

Pasta too floury, and the whole dish too greasy - at the bottom of the bowl was like half of a glass of oil. It's not acceptable. The service was quick as a lightning. Interior interesting. But, the garlic soup was out of space. Never had something soon good before. With copped bacon and,,,, and freahes egg put in. The Best. For this one the place is worth visiting. And testing other not so greasy meals.

Absolutely amazing pizza bread!! You can really get proper and super tasty food for less than 100 CZK. Other meals weren't all that amazing and the service also wasn't top, but still a great experience.

Very nice place with great burgers, wings and different snacks that go super well with local beer. I definitely recommend at least once trying to have here a snack evening with beer, freshly made potato chips and onion wings.

On first impressions it felt like a local hangout and eatery. The service was OK but there were no warm welcomes or smiles. The food and drinks arrived quickly. In total there were 9 of us, 4 of us ordered steak with mushroom sauce which were perfect however, the fries were recooked again until they were too crunchy and oily and frankly inedible to me and the salad garnish looked limp and brown edged (so weren't freshly prepared). My review is based on the one visit and I can't say I'll be rushing back too soon.

Very tasty dishes and a pleasant outdoor seating. They have the menu in both Czech and English. We tried the halloumi burger with plum-onion chutney and the salad with goat cheese (and roasted pumpkin, yellow beet root, arugula and walnuts with balsamic dressing). Both were delicious. The halloumi cheese was fried well and had a nice crust on the outside and the chutney tasted very good. The goat cheese was creamy and tasted very good.

Very nice Café/Restaurant with a cosy and modern atmosphere. Soft lighting and decorated with style it offers mainly Italian dishes but also burger, pastry and coffee. The service was impeccable and very friendly. The only downside was that the pasta was overcooked and the fettuccine cut into 3-4 cm pieces. An Italian would not approve, I guess. 😉 The pastry though was marvellous and nothing short of what you get in a nice café in Paris.

Definitely worth trying every single dish from the menu but I highly recommend the Chicken Supreme, one of the best ones I have tasted ever. Also many many positive notes about their Torino Lamborghini coffee! Whenever I will be visiting Olomouc for sure will be my go-to place.

Everything was great, i would say maybe exceptional. All the waiters were in a good mood. The food was amazing. There were 4 of us and we’ve had 4 different types of food. Steak, gnocchi, schnitzel and salad - everyone was satisfied and happy. We have also had some dessert which i cant remember the name, but it was also delicious. 100% will return and eat here again. Amazing food yet reasonable price. We love this place. I feel like this restaurant is a must visit if you are in Olomouc. The bread for cheese tartar is so addictive. The beef soup is better than the mushroom soup. The pig trotter dish has the apple kren, that is one of the best condiment for the pork ever. These guys have the best lunch buffet in Olomouc. I used to go to the Kathmandu pretty frequently but the buffet here, although smaller, offers a much better selection that includes meat.The staff are always pleasant to deal with and the food is always delicious. Price wise it's a great value at under 200kc. There really isn't much to complain about here (except maybe the lack of salad dressing). They also have one of the cleanest bathrooms I have ever seen in any restaurant. I definitely highly recommend this place.

I came to this restaurant because I was expecting to have a nice burger 🍔, unfortunately the experience was very bad because they really overreacted with flavour of the pepper sauce, I like black pepper very much but the sauce was really bad and that's what broke my heart ☹️. Also they're using some leaves that they give a very bad flavour to a burger. The flavour of the meat was good, but unfortunately it was spoiled by the sauce and some leaves they use together with the lettuce. I won't recommend this burger not at all. People from the restaurant they're friendly and they cook very fast because when I went the restaurant was full.

Staff nice but we had a bad experience with a burger where a feather was found baked in the bun. We were given a free meal for this. Place smells of old oil and the wine was really bad too. Not the best experience all round.

a good restaurant with interesting interier with polite and nice waiters, been here many times and I can't recall any meal that I didn't like, today I had roasted ribs which were perfect. Just be aware that this place is almost always full of people.

Overpriced for what it is. Advertised ribs not particularly memorable, extra sauces curdled. Our waitress forgot to to send our order through (without an apology) so we had to wait a bit longer for our food. Restaurant itself looked nice and clean.

All dishes were carefully made with subtle differences in the usual recipes. Most excellent! Reminded me of an Indian restaurant we frequent in Honolulu, Hawaii. Highly recommended!

Rather disappointing experience - starters of onion bhaji and samosas very bland, mains of tandoori chicken and lamb rogan josh pretty decent, however. Beer poor, service very indifferent and all rather overpriced.

Delicious food, great people, really nice place for evening dinner! People there are really nice and if you ask them they will kindly advise you what to pick to eat. Dont be afraid and maybe suggest talking in English at first :-)

Awesom, I was missing the Indian taste and really found here. Natural resources and diverse culture in India have given diversity in Indian food as well. Not all but a glimpse of food is available.

Cute bar with absolutely amazing exterior ( garden ), it looks like in fairytale. A lot of different drinks , local beers, local ciders and vines. We enjoyed a lot the dishes , for reaaaaaaly cheap price they bring you huge plate. And the taste? Lovely delicious . Go and enjoy it , we will visit again as soon as possible 10/10* for Sure !

This is truly one of my favorite places in town — the atmosphere is just so unique. The quality of their products and the attentive service are a huge plus; the staff are always friendly and happy to help with any questions. Since it’s a café/bar, their extended hours make it even better. They also change the menu every single day, which is another great reason to visit often! I go there to work, meet friends, and even host group activities like journaling and it’s always a solid 10/10.

Peaceful place but TERRIBLE espresso, stick to latte drinks. I had a double espresso and it was burnt, harsh, and honestly pretty bad. It should be illegal to own a big La Marzocco machine and make coffee this bad. The cafe's terrace is nice and quiet under tea trees and very peaceful, but definitely not the place if you’re after good espresso. The brownie was okay though.

This inconspicuous independent café has the advantage of English speaking staff and some amazing chef. When I arrived after 3pm, luckily they still had daily menu. The curry, albeit gluten-free and tasty, was initially sprinkled with coriander, which I can't eat, but they quickly replaced it with a fresh portion without it. (It would have been 10 stars if they added parsleys or salad instead) But what I had least expected was the only gluten-free dessert: beetroot brownies with sour cherries. It was honestly the best brownie I'd ever had! Keep up with gluten-free options and please keep serving the blissful brownies (and of course keep the chef)! The only negative part of my experience was that there was a customer smoking indoors at one point.

Really nice bar in fantastic setting. Very chilled atmosphere. Beer & Cocktails were perfect. Good fair prices. We didn't have cooked food as it was too late but the homemade cookies were phenomenal. Staff were lovely & Petr was a great host.

Came here for the third time. This time I had a beef burger. It looked really good and tasted okay. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. A very gentlemanly service staff gave me an English menu and was very enthusiastic. Excellent service, I will come here again

Very friendly and professional service. The interior may need an update (also the restrooms), but this should not discourage you from visiting, especially if you're vegan. The diverse vegan options are clearly marked. We had an excellent Dal Tadka and a good Matar Mushroom Masala with tasty Biryani and Naan. Bonus points for serving tapped Kofola. We wished we tipped more! :)

Aroma is a great, authentic place with REAL Indian food prepared by lovely people from New Delhi. The food is delicious and the spices aroma is out of this world! At very friendly prices, I completely recommend this place. We have been there a few times and always fully satisfied. Thank you.

Great supporting server in the dining time..nice ambience.. having delicious 😋😋 food...jumbo prawn 🦐🍤. Must tribal dish I ever had in my dinner..size of a prawn is very large.. Totally satisfied for every thing... Recommended place... Try to visit again.

Food was tasty and light, not heavy at all, and i am quite sensitive to that :) Lots of vegan options! Nice pictures and a good book about the Kunti queen. Very nice experience in this restaurant. The only con is that they dont serve the tap water. No need to waste resources of our planet by stupidly buying bottled water.

Soup, flank steak and also other meals very good. Bad that they changed Pilsner Urquell to Zubr. But the Zubr Grand beer is not as bad as I expected.

Great local pub. Alive atmosphere, friendly staff (English speaking). They don't have English menus but the waiter was kind enough to translate it. Czech cuisine. Limited vegetarian options. Large portions. I definitely recommend the ribs and the grilled cheese. Outside and indoor sitting. Veeery good prices.

Good place to eat, not really a good place to visit just for a beer. They only have two beers on tap which are pretty expensive (overall alcohol is more expensive comparing to other places in Olomouc). Should you want to pay by card, the overall price must be more than 150 CZK which is not convenient if you don't have much cash on you. Waiting time for the service is more than 5 minutes and the staff is rather neutral. However, should you be outdoors you have a pretty good view of Morava river.

Very nice Czech food. Extensive (English) menu, difficult to choose from! Affordable prices. Service could be a bit faster, but food was clearly cooked to order.

Cosy and welcoming place with standard Czech food. This is how Czech cuisine typically looks like. Not too classy, to be sure, but if you just wanna eat for a reasonable price, this restaurant is for you.

Old bohemian pancakes were tasty but a wiped cream added was tasteless and insipid. Rest of dishes were very good prepared and delicious. I'm glad i was here.

Bloody pork meat served. The restaurant service and food was ok, until the moment I realized half of the pork steak was uncooked. When we told to the waitress, she did nothing but an small apology.

I must say, I’ve visited this place once or twice and have not been disappointed. The atmosphere, the service, and quality of ingredients and food was all amazing. Not to mention a variety of Italian food options, and fun drinks to try out. A little bit more on the pricy side, but quality demands higher value, so all in all worth it.

I sent my parents there on holidays and they were ecstatic. Apparently the best pizza out of Italy.

Nice atmosphere and design. Foods taste little salty which we ate pork chop? Dunno what exactly the menu named. We request chili sauce and their special chili sauces tasted even more salty…maybe Asian don’t really enjoy it. Anyhow, would appreciate if their service will be better. As they serve our desserts before we finish our main dish.
