Rocklands Bird Sanctuary in Montego Bay is a tranquil garden where visitors can interact with thousands of Jamaican and migratory birds. The sanctuary has received numerous certificates of excellence and offers a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the vibrant birdlife of Jamaica, including the national bird, the Red-billed Streamertail, and the graceful Doctor Bird. Visitors can hand-feed these charming creatures while enjoying some peace and quiet in the cozy cottage.
Fantastic experience in a beautiful location overlooking MoBay. The hosts were lovely, full of information and welcoming. Feeding hummingbirds by hand is unforgettable. The taxi from your hotel is well worth it. No question.
Garry M — Google review
What an amazing experience!!! It was a beautiful, educational, peaceful, and uplifting time at the sanctuary and with our guide and new friend Fritz. Walking in you see a beautiful home and property. Then we were led to the large wooden patio where you can sit and feed these beautiful birds. Besides the amazing view we were instructed on how to get the hummingbirds to land on our fingers and feed on sugar water. What a unique and wonderful experience to have the birds sitting on your fingers or on your legs that close. Meanwhile Fritz told about the history of the place and identified and told us about the birds. After we had done that for about an hour he gave us a tour of the fauna and foliage around the house. We learned about some of the medicinal benefits of the plants and enjoyed walking the property. Could not recommend this more highly.
Daniel H — Google review
This was an ethereal and one in a life time experience! Not only getting to learn more about the bird species, our national bird but also being able to see and feed them up close! Booked this experience for my birthday and I want disappointed! Though it seems simple, it’s honestly so wholesome and exciting at the same time, you just have to experience it for yourself!

' .Visiting Rocklands Bird Sanctuary was an exceptional experience. The sanctuary itself is a brilliant idea, set amidst stunning, tranquil scenery that makes the whole visit feel peaceful and refreshing. The staff were insightful, polite, and attentive, ensuring we had an unforgettable experience. The highlight was getting up close with the local birds, especially the hummingbirds—watching them in their natural environment was truly magical. The surrounding atmosphere added to the sense of serenity, making it a perfect escape into nature. This is a must-visit for anyone who loves wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and a genuinely immersive experience.
Sebastian B — Google review
Wild birds (hummingbirds and others) trusting to eat out of your hand. Very unique experience. We drove there with our rental car. It was US$30/person. [I live in the US. I know Jamaica quite well as I’ve been going there often for the last 25 years. Always renting our own car. The roads have gotten better but back roads can be tricky. If you are not confident in your driving skills, including reversing down narrow bumpy roads along steep ravines have a qualified local driver take you there. These are public roads and the bird sanctuary is not responsible for their condition.]
James M — Google review
Had an incredible experience with my granddaughter—up front and personal feeding of hummingbirds. Very fascinating to see how they suddenly just appear right at your fingertips feeding on sugar water. Loved it.
Fred B — Google review
Visiting Rocklands was one of the highlights of our trip. The sanctuary is peaceful, quiet, and tucked away from the busy tourist spots. Getting to hand-feed hummingbirds—literally have them land on your finger—was such a unique and calming experience. The staff was kind and knowledgeable, and the whole place felt personal and genuine. It's not flashy or overly touristy, and that’s what makes it special. If you’re an animal lover or just want to do something different and peaceful in Jamaica, this is totally worth the trip

Fab day today at Rocklands would highly recommend! It’s a real pleasure to experience such a wonderful sanctuary. Many thanks to the staff for being so welcoming.

Nestled on the west coast of Jamaica, Doctor's Cave Beach is a renowned Caribbean destination offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. With its golden sands and turquoise waters, this beach is an idyllic spot for sunbathing, swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving. It holds historical significance as the beach that propelled Montego Bay into a tourism hotspot in the 1920s.
This is by far the best beach in montego Bay. It never disappoints. Always clean , great staff and food to make it a perfect spot to be. Anytime I am in Jamaica, it is my happy place 😊. By far the best beach ⛱️ 😎

We absolutely loved this beach! Starbucks right there, as well as Pier 1 restaurant!
Cassandra A — Google review
Beautiful, clean beach. Highly recommend for a day at the beach. Be aware that on Wednesdays, the cruise ships dock and so will be very busy. Getting there around 2pm on a Wednesday is good.
Deanna — Google review
Beautiful tranquil area! Extremely clean area and beach, but to access this beach and area a small fee needed. Don't worry it's very low and very worth it. Great to chill out, relax, have a walk. And a light bit of snorkeling. Lots to see and nice food around. We spent the day and it was a good day out overall
RMB — Google review
Such a nicely maintained beach, you pay a fee to enter and can rent umbrellas and chairs. Food was good and reasonable, drinks were pretty good. Beautiful water also just relaxing watching planes landing every now and then.
Sarah S — Google review
This is a great beach… very beautiful. They have a lifeguard on the beach and security. They also have a great bar that is nearby with great drinks. The bar is able to accept American and Jamaican dollars very good vibes. The people were very friendly. I even got a celebratory birthday drink from a local. I’m here to tell the story lol. The people are extremely beautiful and you don’t have a lot of people heckling you. You do have to pay for chairs. I think we paid seven bucks. The beat is full of tourists and local so it’s a good mix and you’re likely to feel very comfortable there. Get there early if you want to avoid having to get an umbrella and use a tree for the ultimate shade they also serve food. We had beef and chicken patties. They were steaming hot and delicious. The bathrooms were clean. all in all very good beach.
G D — Google review
Nice beach. Great view. Got shaded places under tree if you are worried to get burnt, plus the rental umbrella, you should be fine. Got all facilities you need and are pretty clean. It would be 5 stars if the stuffs can be nicer. We asked a lady who works there for helping us take a photo for all, however, she just turned around and ignored.
张舒 — Google review
Doctors Cave Beach is located off the famous Hip Strip of Montego Bay. Access is via the Hip Strip, it’s a fee paying beach, the beach is impeccably clean with clear waters so you can see the sea life, if you venture out a little you can snorkel and see amazing sea life. There is bar serving drinks , cocktails and bar snacks , there is a Starbucks overlooking the beach so coffee and everything Starbucks is available. There is a bouncy thing you swim up to and bounce on or just chill and lie on, the beach can get busy from time to time, but that’s because it’s the place to hang out. The white sand, the clear sea, the warm sea and the impressive sealife makes this beach popular with tourists and locals alike

The Ahhh...Ras Natango Gallery and Garden is a cultural hub that was transformed from a barren rocky hillside by Ian Williams in 1988. The gallery, which showcases local paintings and crafts, is surrounded by terraced gardens that attract a variety of birds. Visitors can enjoy the botanical garden as well as learn about the history and culture of the area. The attraction has become known for its unique atmosphere and is highly regarded among those who appreciate gardens and art.
We had a wonderful time. The garden is stunning and the family who built it are so welcoming. The art they have created is beautiful and we had a home cooked meal. They can also connect you with a driver. Highly recommend, especially if you are interested in supporting the local communities.
Britt M — Google review
This experience is a gem! I originally booked on Airbnb and had the host was so kind and understanding when I needed to reschedule my booking. This garden is run by a creative family trio and their talents in art and passion for botany shines through every aspect of the tour. They are also incredibly warm and welcoming, and very knowledgeable of the flora and birds - you will leave relaxed and well-informed. Ahhh...Ras natango Gallery and Garden was a fantastic and fun activity as a solo explorer but I could also see this being a really cute daytime date. As a bonus, there are some fun hidden gems for kids to discover along the way in the garden. The views are beautiful, the birds are friendly, fountain is meditative and photos don't quite capture the magic – you need to experience it for yourself!
Chasma S — Google review
Wonderful experience today at the botanical gardens. The owner and his wife and son were so knowledgeable and generous And kind, just good vibes all around. We loved the tour Through the Gardens. It was a great experience for us.We would definitely recommend.

Visiting Ahhh…Ras Natango Gallery and Garden was an unforgettable experience. It was inspiring to listen to Ras share the story of how this vision came to life, adding so much depth to the visit. The garden itself is immaculate, full of vibrant colors and peaceful spaces, and feeding the birds was such a joyful and unique experience. The art gallery is just as beautiful, showcasing creativity and passion at every turn. This is truly a must-visit spot in Montego Bay — a perfect blend of nature, art, and story.
Williams A — Google review
This garden is a well-hidden treasure of biodiversity and humanity. It's an entire experience. The owners and their son together taught us the history of the place and their interactions with the people of Montego Bay, the different plants, how to behave in nature (with a touch of spirituality). There are plenty of pieces of art spread out inside the garden, and so much creativity it makes you want to become an artist. If you want to purchase the owners' work, there is a gallery at the end of the tour. Both of the owners are very talented. The place is suitable for children too. I will let the owners tell you why :) The lovely humming birds accompany you during your journey, and they don't hesitate to perch on your hand (you won't ever forget the sensation). The place is so quiet and relaxing, you will return refreshed. The garden is very well maintained and the diversity of it is exceptional. If you come to Jamaica, you should definitely go there!

Ahh Rastnatango Gallery and Garden is a TRUE HIDDEN GEM! I'm so grateful for the warm accommodation and exceptional tour experience. As a nature lover, I was blown away by the creativity and educational value of this incredible spot. Our tour guide was AMAZING, sharing the rich history and award-winning stories behind this gem. The 1-hour garden tour was a highlight, featuring stunning rock paintings, a charming mini village, and a breathtaking variety of flowers. We also enjoyed the serene pond with vibrant orange fish, feeding the majestic doctor bird, and exploring the gallery's unique paintings – including the incredible eggshell art! The cool high view, top-tier treatment, and affordable pricing made this experience truly unforgettable. Be prepared to be AMAZED! Huge thanks to the wonderful family behind Ahh Rastnatango Gallery and Garden – we can't wait to return!

It's was a wonderful tour of a beautiful garden, an enlightened experience and story behind every area of the garden. The wonderful flora and fauna. Feeding the hummingbirds as a great experience. Each art 🎨🎭 piece having their own story, a picture is worth a 1000 words but these pieces maybe worth 10,000. We loved it
Tashana M — Google review
We had a wonderful morning exploring this beautiful garden and enjoying the fabulous views. It was so special to see the hummingbirds so upclose and personnel. It was one of the highlights of our visit to Jamaica and we have told everyone we know to visit when in Jamaica. Its off the beaten track, so quiet and peaceful and as we were the only ones there we felt very honoured to be in such a tranquil and special place.

Great beach.. no food though. But very clean, has changing and shower facilities, and parking.

An aesthetic upgrade is required. Once you get past that you can have real fun here. There is a skating rink, go cart ride. If you have little regards foe opinions you can get massaged on the brach. Then you can stay the night for the exotic club.
Stenette D — Google review
There is no theme park here. Condemned shanty town filled with junkies and homeless people. It looks more like Chernobyl than a water park. The “go kart track” looks like something out of the flinstones. Watch out for Bigfoot/Bigfeet, local scam artist that tried to rob us at a local ATM. Would highly recommend the Pork Pit across the street though. Amazing jerked chicken!

Price is affordable, beach was not crowded, have place to wash off also to change your clothes, inside parking etc...

Always a pleasure visiting this spot, family friendly venue, very clean beach, life guard always on duty, paid entry but very affordable, snacks and drinks sold on spot also at really affordable prices, and close to all the other food spots in Montego Bay like Pork Pit ( Real good food ), KFC and some others

Restaurant
Margaritaville Montego Bay, established in 1995 by local entrepreneurs Brian Jardim and Ian Dear, is a vibrant destination located on Gloucester Avenue at the heart of the Hip Strip in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This lively spot offers an array of local and international cuisine, refreshing drinks, and live entertainment for visitors to enjoy with friends or family.
We only got smiles and good vibes from the hostess. The male waiter was emotionless and unapproachable. We got the fried fish, it comes with rice and ripe yellow plantains. I mean, the plantains were over ripe which was a great experience since it’s been the only place that offer them on point. The kitchen closed and the waiter didn’t inform us. He didn’t even ask if we needed anything else prior the closure. He brought the bill and didn’t ask if we needed a second round of drinks. We paid the bill. We kept the table. I was able to get drinks from the bar. The ambience was lit on a Thursday night. You don’t pay an admission fee if you were already there prior the party time. So now you know: Come around 9:15 pm, get your food and keep your table. People starts coming from 10:30 pm.

This place was pretty dope! The food was pretty good. I went to celebrate birthdays with friends. They came out and sang happy birthday to them, and offered them either key lime pie or rum cake with ice-cream. I think they enjoyed that. I had the jambalaya, and my lady had the red snapper dish. I cant remember what the other two people had, but they said their food was good too. Our waiter named Paige was super friendly and very helpful! If I ever go back, im requesting to sit at her table. We sat by the water as night began to fall. The view of the sunset was amazing! I wish we could've went on a Thursday night. I heard it was jamming for ladies night.

This has been my go to place for over a decade. I would still give it a five out of five, even though I don’t always love the service. The food, the view, the atmosphere, and the music are definitely a five out of five. If you’re looking for tasty American food at a decent price, this is your go to spot.

Location is amazing, with views of the beautiful blue water. Food was good also with very fast service. The staff was eager to help and always near by when we needed something. The slide is great and fun to swim on the inflatables in water. Will definitely visit next time we are in the Montego Bay area.
Lincoln T — Google review
The outside isn’t as appealing as the inside. However, the vibe is nice and so is the staff. The view of the sunset from the deck that sits above the sea is beautiful. The prices are as expected from a place like this. The prices are in U.S. dollars not Jamaican dollars.

Jamaican restaurant
In Montego Bay, Jamaica, there are numerous dining options to explore. Scotchies is a renowned spot where visitors can savor the authentic flavors of Jamaican jerk chicken cooked over wood from the allspice tree. The restaurant's traditional grilling method imparts delicious flavors to the meats. Additionally, Mystic Thai offers a taste of Thailand in Montego Bay for those seeking authentic Thai cuisine.
Was a great experience for our larger party, all food was brought out in good timing and was hot and deliciously seasoned. I’d recommend this spot to anyone visiting the Montego Bay area. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Real Caribbean/Jamaican food and tropical vibes all around. Prices were around $400-$600 Jamaican per meal which is about $2-$3 US. Service was impeccable and restaurant was clean and is mostly outdoor seating with a lot of tropical shade
Amanda D — Google review
To all my fellow culinary enthusiast and west Indians I'm sorry to disappoint with my review. With that being said I'm happy I went just to say I had the opportunity to visit the world famous Scotchies. The chicken was absolutely bland and the rice and peas as well. Festivals were okay. There were 7 of us and unfortunately we all had the same opinion. Service fast and friendly and they will tell you in the prices in American dollars if you are paying with US dollars. I believe they did that for the Canadian travelling with us as well. Have patience and learn to adapt to island time. Take time to support the Local economy ☺️
Christina V — Google review
We have been here a number of times over the years. It’s is very close to where we stay and it is easy to get to. We normally take a taxi but have driven ourselves here too. The staff are very friendly and the service was quite fast, except the fish that came after we had finished. The level of jerk is accessible for those who are not great with spice, but there are sauces on the table which are explosive! If you want to raise the level. The pork was the best in our opinion and we ordered more. The restaurant is next to the road which is quite loud, it adds to the experience, but it’s not a quiet eating location. Worth visiting to escape a hotel bubble.
James T — Google review
Without a doubt, this is the best Scotchies on the island! The flavors of the jerk chicken and pork are absolutely amazing—each bite is packed with a perfect blend of spices and smoky goodness that leaves you craving more. The meat is tender and juicy, truly showcasing the art of authentic Jamaican jerk cooking. Not only is the food top-notch, but the customer service is exceptional as well. The staff is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. They are more than happy to provide recommendations and ensure that your dining experience is enjoyable. If you're looking for a place to indulge in delicious jerk chicken and pork, this Scotchies is a must-visit. The combination of great food and outstanding service makes it an unforgettable dining experience!
Sharna M — Google review
Easy review. This was the best jerk chicken I've ever eaten! Hot, fresh, and delicious! French fries were crispy and cooked to order as well. If they would include cocoa bread on the menu, this place would be perfect! Best jerk chicken in Jamaica hands down!
Midwest C — Google review
We were greeated poorly by the customer service representative/ cashier, then after having our meal my wife shirt back got spoiled by rust From one of the chair we ask to speak with a supervisor and all of them response was that they are busy, as if we weren't important, it's the first visit to the restaurant and as a visitor to Jamaica it didn't sit well with us , we end up leaving because we were ignore, after walking through the door we observe one of the cashier lady in red blouse laughing at us , very disrespectful . Our visit was on the 1st of Sept roundabout 6pm so we hope management can review the camera to see the poor behavior of the supervisor and staff. Hope no one else has to experience this behavior, also chairs need to be cleaned or re -paint
Kevin H — Google review
Scotchies was not worth all of the hype to me. I'd rather my street jerk chicken that I'm used to with more flavor, char and better service.
Tiffany C — Google review
So asked around whether scotchies was great or not and reviews were 50/50 at the resort from locals, most recommended Pork Pit. We tried going there but line was super long, so Scotchies we went. Ordered the jerk chicken, jerk pork and spicy wedges. Everything was fine but meat definitely a lil dry and the "spicy" wedges were just plain wedges... Not even any salt... Don't know if there was something spicy left off or what. And also if you're looking for spicy jerk, that won't be found here., you can smother it in the scotch bonnet sauce but I'd hope for some kick as is. Probably great for tourists with tame pallets.

Beach
Tropical Bliss Beach in Jamaica offers a unique experience with its warm welcome of rum punch upon entry, which is not common at other beaches. For a small entrance fee, visitors can enjoy the secured beach area with live music, buffet dining for an additional cost, and various inflatables. This lively beach is known for its upbeat atmosphere, cocktails, and a range of activities. While it may not be the most tranquil spot, it's certainly entertaining.
I found out about this restaurant on YouTube. while in Montego Bay I had to check it out. OMGGG this place is a vibe. The music, the drinks the people and of course the beach. You can rent a cabana or jetski or just hang out on the beach listen to the music and vibes.

I visited this beach as part of a shore excursion on the Royal Caribbean. The beach is right across the street from the airport, so you're constantly hearing planes land. There also was a twerk contest and we found out some guests were from Carnival, then it all made sense. There was a ton of seaweed in the water and lots of leaves and sticks making the water a bit murky (I know some things can't be helped). The locals inside selling arts and crafts were very kind, and had good prices, but be aware of locals near the entrance/exit trying to sell you weed and edibles. I honestly wouldn't visit again as the out of water activities aren't my thing (smoking and twerking in the sand).

Fail. We booked this tour with our cruise ship explora… it was our first trip and it was a fail. Most of our group left again after we arrived. We stayed but the water doesn’t smell good. You smell kerosine because of the airplanes all the time. We had bands for all inclusive but this mean only a super sweet fruit punch and water… we didn’t even get a beer. The beach was okay. Don’t understand me wrong i didn’t expect anything luxury but this was just not nice at all!

I didn’t jet ski but my two teenage daughters did. They had a horrible experience. The guys that accompanied them out were too touchy feely. Made unwanted sexual advances constantly while showing my daughters how to navigate the Jetski. It was very uncomfortable and apparently stop isn’t apart of their vocabulary. My daughters didn’t tell me what happened there until yesterday, three weeks after leaving the country. They knew I would have shut the place down. My daughters are traumatized and finding out about what happened to them makes me angry. Please stay away from this establishment. Zero stars if I could.
Wayne T — Google review
Good people, great service, chill atmosphere, cool vibes. Went to jet ski, but they also have a quiet beach, good music, and a lively bar (if you want that). They also have showers and clean restrooms. I would go again...
Br R — Google review
I recently visited Tropical Bliss in Montego Bay. While the beach, food, and DJ were excellent, the experience was negatively affected by rude, unprofessional behavior from the jet ski and scuba diving staff, as well as hidden fees that were not communicated upfront. These issues reflect poorly on the overall experience. I strongly urge management to address the conduct of the excursion team and ensure transparency with pricing.
Latoya — Google review
Awesome and beautiful past time. They have Wi-fi! They had a live DJ playing some awesome beats. Great and flavorful food & drinks and a souvenir shop! Clean bathrooms and outside showers. Plenty of water sports to sign up for. Our cabana was big enough to hold 7 ladies. What more could you ask for!? I can't wait to go back again!!!
Candy M — Google review
If you come in on a cruise ship, J&L tours it's going to make this the final destination for the $7.00 bus fare. This place has a $6 cover charge, and another $6 for chairs. All-inclusive Cabanas are also available. Drink service is slow, but the drinks are reasonably priced and very potent. No tax, but be expected to tip 15 to 20%. Lots of 420 dealers out front, also some other stuff. Didn't partake The beach is nice, it's well-maintained. There is also a massive shade tree covering a portion of the beach and grass hill that provides an excellent way to escape the blistering sun. If you're Canadian the locals will often provide you with free 4:20 as long as you are chill. The beach is well-maintained, there's also jet ski and jet car available. Couple inflatable obstacles out in the water. Now the water, you need to be wary. About a mile up shore is one of the hurricane sewer outflows, if there's been heavy rain before your trip there's a good chance the water is going to be dirty. I had a group of 20, a little over half went in the water. A couple days later we had a bunch of ear infections, a couple skin infections all requiring antibiotics. Those that didn't go in the water were all okay. One of our ladies who did the jet ski, even though she's very experienced they required a guide to ride with. That guy's got a little touchy feely, so be aware. The younger members of our group loved it, the older members of our group didn't as much. Your mileage may vary. My biggest takeaway, if you are not looking for this particular location make sure your driver is actually taking you to doctor's cave or one of the other more popular beaches.

I always enjoy going to Coral Cliff. I enjoy the vibe and atmosphere upstairs. The food is delicious and music is great. Sometimes they have a live band playing, which is a whole vibe in itself. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I love going downstairs to play games with the kids. The have a variety of games that they can chose from. I love that you use your token to get items at the front. Overall great experience.

This was the most disappointing experience. First off it was my son's 13th birthday and we expected way better. Half the games did not work . The food was horrible and the service was awful. The chicken was old, dry and had a weird taste to it the biscuits were hard as nails . I ordered soup for my appetizer, we waited forever for the appetizer. When it finally came they had my main course as well. I asked the server how is it they brought my main course with my appetizer because by the time I would be finished I would have a cold main course just sitting on my table. They took my main course back and along with the soup I ordered as an appetizer because the soup was cold. By this time I was ready to go because I started having a headache. We had to ask for water at our table , they had one server. It took a while to speak to a manager, I had to personally leave my party at the table to expididte the process so we could leave. My 13 yr old night was ruined,it should have never be to the point where the child had to say it is okay mommy I will go home and cook something. It broke my heart that he was so disappointed and it was his first time in Jamaica. Coral Cliff you have to do better.

Very baddddd service at the restaurant. Took an hour to receive, then the fish tacos & shrimp came cold. The drinks Tropical Rum Punch was amazing. Owner & waiter didn’t seem to care about the inconsistency. Troy did all he could, he was consistent in checking on my party.

I ate at the Spice & Bloom restaurant and I didn't care for it. The food was OK. I ordered their honey butter chicken. It was fried really well but didn't have much flavor. Fries were good though. I had the Jamaican mule for my cocktail and that was good too. It took a while for the food to deliver which was surprising because there was only one other table of customers when I got there. In the end, it was the server made me super uncomfortable. After taking my order he would just stand and stare at me for a while before leaving or just come back and linger around my table after saying I didn't need anything. He kept making remarks about my looks and while I don't mind a compliment or two he was doing entirely too much especially when he would just stare at me. After eating one piece of chicken, the asked for a to go box & my check so I could get out of there.
Jennifer B — Google review
The customer service was extremely poor. The person at the seating area was dishonest, unhelpful, and seemed uninterested in being at work. Our waitress was also very lazy and showed no enthusiasm or professionalism throughout the evening. The wait time for food an hour and a half, was absolutely unacceptable, and even then, the food quality could have been much better. The only positive was the music, which was lively and enjoyable. Unfortunately, that was not enough to make up for the poor service and long wait. Coral Cliff needs serious improvement in customer service and efficiency.
Shaquille J — Google review
I Went for dinner at the restaurant, and I got sick the follow morning for the whole day (diarrhea). I visited spoke to the manager reported the problem 2 days after and to my surprise nothing was done about my poor experience. It a nice place with good entertainment but I would not recommend any one to buy food there.

Unforgettable Horseback Riding Experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We did the Surf & Turf horseback riding experience at Half Moon, and it was absolutely amazing! Riding along the beach and then taking the horses into the water was such a unique and fun adventure. The highlight was definitely the tail-riding—holding onto the horse’s tail while they swam was an experience like no other! Our guides were fantastic—friendly, professional, and made sure we had a great time. If you’re in Montego Bay, this is a must-do activity. Highly recommend!

The Pork Pit in Montego Bay is a must-visit for those craving authentic Jamaican jerk cuisine. Located on Gloucester Avenue, also known as the Hip Strip, this popular spot offers a variety of jerk chicken, pork, and fish served with traditional sides like yam, breadfruit, rice and peas, and festivals (Jamaican dumplings). The laid-back atmosphere includes an open bar where you can enjoy local drinks while soaking up the vibrant surroundings.
if you don't go to Pork Pit, you're doing it wrong. we wanted to try everything - and thankfully I he prices are reasonable enough to be able to get a huge picking of selections. BEST shrimp I've had in my life, ribs literally so buttery tender - true definition of fall off the bone. the rice and green plantain, festival, and chicken were all so good. service was fast and friendly. can't recommend this place enough!
Shandie F — Google review
I finally got a chance to stop at The Pork Pit in Montego Bay and it lived up to all the hype. The moment I walked in, the smell of pimento wood smoke hit me and I knew I was in for a treat. I ordered the jerk pork with festival on the side, and honestly, it was some of the most tender, flavorful pork I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned, smoky, and juicy—it’s the kind of food that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. The vibe is very casual and down-to-earth. You sit at picnic tables under shade, surrounded by locals and visitors all digging into their meals. It’s not fancy, but it doesn’t need to be—the food speaks for itself. The service was quick and friendly, and the portions were generous for the price. I also tried a bit of the jerk chicken, and it was excellent too, but the pork is definitely the star here. The festival bread was warm and slightly sweet, the perfect partner to balance out the spice. If you’re in Montego Bay and want a real taste of Jamaica, The Pork Pit is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!

What we had was decent, but they didn’t have hardly anything ready… no pork, no dark meat so this is the best review I can give them three stars. We were there on a Thursday afternoon. We settled for white meat, chicken and some french fries. The people were nice though I can give them that but when you have people traveling from far away, you gotta make sure you have food. We will try again.

This was my first visit and not necessarily a Jamaica experience but one that would appeal to having a familiar American fast food experience. The menu has the American haunts such as ribs with some Jamaican food sprinkled in. I had the escovich snapper, which was really good.. I tried their hummus which was made spicy with scotch bonnet pepper. Gave it a kick. The location on the pier is nice. We didn’t go late enough to see the sunset but I can see that the location would be great for watching the sunset set. The restaurant also has a bar, along with seating areas. The service was good and very attentive. The waitress was helpful in addressing questions about the food and made the experience enjoyable. So I would say that this is a great place for those who are looking for a balance of Jamaican and American food.

We had an amazing stay at Villa Half Moon and are truly thankful for the unforgettable week we spent there. The villa was beautiful, peaceful, and just what we needed — but what made the experience truly special was the exceptional service. A heartfelt thank you to Gawain — Mr. G — who went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home every single day. From the smallest details to the thoughtful touches, he made everything easy, smooth, and enjoyable. Always present, never intrusive, always kind and professional — Mr. G truly elevated our stay. A heartfelt thank you to the entire staff who made our stay so special. From the wonderful woman who prepared our breakfast every morning, to the one who kept the villa spotless every day, and the person who maintained our pool — your kindness and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed. Everyone played a part in making this a truly memorable experience for us. We left with great memories and deep gratitude. Looking forward to coming back someday. Thank you again!

This has been our resort of choice for several years. The food is magnificent and the location is ideal. The recent upgrades have been appreciated. However the quality of the staff has steadily been declining. The service was disappointing and frankly, the management seems cavalier about it. There will always be stand outs. Talent and conscientiousness speak for themselves. But outside of that, attention to training is key. There has been a steep decline in that department. The room service staff is always top notch. But good luck with housekeeping, grounds personnel and the regular wait staff. I hope that an intervention can be run before the experiences are totally ruined by a lack of kindness, plain rudeness and a generalized spirit of unwillingness. No one is asking for colonial genuflecting, just basic customer service training.

My absolute favourite hotel in Montego Bay! The property is quite vast and serene. I usually stay by Founders Cove and I enjoy the beach, it always feels like it’s my private beach. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and I’ve always enjoyed the food although it’s a little pricey (at least it’s been consistently good). Despite being right along a main road I’ve never had any issues with noise. It’s a great place for a little romantic getaway or even for a personal escape from daily life

We did not stay at the Hotel itself but visited the SPA. The ladies at the SPA desk were so helpful and friendly with booking us and explaining everything to us. This SPA was a nice experience with being able to visit the sauna/steam room before our massage. The only thing that threw me off was during the massage there was no music going..typically there is like a rain sound going or something like that,

This was our first time at Half Moon, and everything about the experience was impeccable. The property is beautifully maintained, the complimentary bikes were a fun and easy way to get around, and every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and kind. A special thank you to Joy, David, Claudio, and the entire culinary team at Founder's Cove—every meal was delicious and unforgettable. I had a few special Jamaican food requests and dietary restrictions, and they made it all happen with such care and generosity. I couldn't be more grateful. Founder's Cove was wonderful, despite what some reviews have stated online. We’re already dreaming about our return. Half Moon is truly something special.

We were placed at this hotel for one night by Virgin Atlantic due to an 18-hour flight delay, and I can only say that the resort is absolutely incredible. The grounds are vast, spotless, and truly breathtaking. We arrived quite late, and during check-in, the receptionist had us sign a bike waiver. My husband and I, exhausted from the long journey, didn’t understand why this was necessary and signed it, assuming we wouldn’t need the bikes. However, after exploring the resort, we quickly realised that the grounds are so large that using a bike is essential to getting around. It would have been helpful for the receptionist to explain this to us, as it made the bikes vital for getting from one place to another. Without them, it would have taken at least 30 minutes to walk to the lobby for dinner. Upon being driven to our room by a hotel attendant in a buggy (again, because of how large the grounds are), the experience took a bit of a turn. The attendant didn’t communicate with us at all and drove extremely fast, almost as though he were annoyed by our late arrival due to the flight delay. This was disappointing, especially since we had no idea where we were going. When we arrived at our suite (the Eclipse Room, which was a lovely gesture), we had to go upstairs, but the attendant just dropped us off at the side and didn’t offer to help with our luggage. While we’re not entitled guests, it would have been a nice touch for him to offer assistance, especially since it seemed like an oversight on his part. He didn’t even say goodbye, which made me assume his shift was over, but regardless, the lack of interaction was a bit disappointing. After such a long journey, we were hoping for a little more warmth and guidance from the hotel staff. While we understand they may have been busy, a simple greeting and an offer to assist with our luggage would have gone a long way to make us feel more welcomed. A little courtesy can make a big difference, especially when guests are arriving at night after a delay. On a positive note, once we entered our room, we were in awe. It was beautiful, immaculate, and perfectly appointed. The bed was also incredibly comfortable, and I truly had no complaints about the room. Considering our late arrival (around 10 PM), the kitchen staff thoughtfully arranged a burger and chips for us, and it was surprisingly delicious. The dining staff were wonderful, and we were grateful for their hospitality, especially as we had to use the bikes to get to the dining area and got a little lost in the dark. Fortunately, a kind hotel attendant we bumped into offered to guide us there, which was much appreciated. In the morning, with daylight, we could fully appreciate the luxury of this resort. It’s massive, pristine, and quiet. Breakfast was divine, and the staff in the kitchen area were exceptional. Keron, the smoothie guy, and one of the chefs, known as "Mr. Make it Happen," were particularly fantastic. Their friendly personalities really stood out, and we felt well taken care of. Despite the negative customer service from the first hotel attendant who took us to our room and the lack of communication from the reception staff regarding the bikes, overall, it was truly an incredible and memorable stay. The resort is filled with beautiful palm trees and lush vegetation throughout, making it an unforgettable experience.
Rebecca — Google review
This was my third stay at the hotel, and while there are some positives worth noting, the overall service experience left us disappointed and made our stay far less enjoyable than it should have been. On the positive side, the hotel itself is beautiful. The location is excellent, the grounds are spacious, and the pools and common areas are well designed. A few members of the staff—particularly some of the wait staff—delivered outstanding service, going out of their way to be kind, attentive, and professional. Those moments of excellence stood out and made a real difference. Unfortunately, the overall service fell well below expectations. The check-in process set the tone: the staff member who assisted us was neither warm nor welcoming, and instead came across as curt, argumentative, and even hostile. She refused to honor the AmEx Fine Hotels & Resorts benefits that were clearly included with our reservation, despite my providing proof and a receipt. Rather than resolving the issue, she insisted I contact American Express directly—even though I was out of the country—an unreasonable expectation for a returning guest. The way she handled the situation, and her dismissive attitude when I asked about the room upgrade, was a poor start to our stay. Other service gaps continued throughout. Some restaurant staff were polite and professional, but others seemed uninterested, unfriendly, or only became attentive after receiving a tip. At times, it felt like service was based on a quid pro quo rather than genuine hospitality, which is not the experience you expect at a property of this caliber. The room assignment also created challenges. We were placed at one far end of the resort, nearly half a mile from the only open pool. With two children, this was difficult to manage. After requesting a closer room, we were moved—but only three buildings closer—leaving the pool still a significant distance away. To make matters worse, the beach near our room was not maintained to the same standard as the beaches closer to the center of the resort, further diminishing the experience. Lastly, while the food was good, it was very expensive for the quality and portion sizes. Overall, the amenities and a few exceptional staff members prevented this from being a truly terrible stay. But the disappointing service—not just unfriendly, but at times outright rude—overshadowed what should have been an enjoyable return visit.

Harmony Beach, also known as Dump up Beach, is a picturesque and relaxed destination in Montego Bay. The beach offers a crescent of sandy shoreline and wide open grassy spaces, making it perfect for families and friends to enjoy. The park provides state-of-the-art recreation facilities including an activity center, multipurpose court, jogging trail, promenade, snack shops, and beautiful lawns. With security guards and lifeguards on site, visitors can feel safe while enjoying the beach area.
We took a cab and came here with my colleges from the cruise ship. I know it's not the real Jamaica, but this place is well maintained and the white sandy beach is crystal clear and beautiful.

🏖️ Harmony Beach Park – Montego Bay, Jamaica 🇯🇲 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Although I’ve visited Montego Bay many times before, this was my first time exploring Harmony Beach Park—and I was absolutely blown away. This public beach park is a true gem! From the moment you enter, you notice how well-maintained, clean, and secure the area is. There’s visible security, attentive lifeguards, and clearly designated zones for swimming, which makes it an ideal spot for families, couples, or solo travelers seeking peace of mind. The recreational facilities are excellent—I saw people enjoying netball, volleyball, and just relaxing under the shade of palm trees. The changing rooms and restrooms are modern and clean, adding to the overall comfort. What makes Harmony Beach Park even more remarkable is that entry is completely free if you’re walking in. If you're driving, there’s a small fee for parking, but that’s more than fair given the quality of the experience. Once inside, you have access to all the amenities. There are also local shops and food stalls offering delicious Jamaican food and cold drinks. The service was excellent—genuine island hospitality at its finest. ✅ Highly recommended to anyone visiting Montego Bay. Whether you want to swim, relax, or enjoy some recreation, Harmony Beach Park delivers. This is how public beach spaces should be—accessible, safe, clean, and full of life.

Beautiful, clean, & safe beach. Lots of security guards walking the grounds. There is a secured parking lot that's very affordable with easy access off the main street. There's a playground for kids, a basketball court & clearly marked barriers for safe swimming. A perfect place for a family fun day!!

Beautiful and clean free beach in Montego Bay. Only pay to park and parking is only $200 JMD per hr.. You can also purchase chairs and umbrellas if you want to. Public showers, bathrooms and changing rooms available. Life guards also present until the beach closes.

Harmony Beach & Park is a wonderful place to spend the day at the beach or in the park. The facility has been upgraded from the rundown and abandoned beach. The grounds are well kept. Security ensures the safety of people. Along with the lifeguard for the beach. They have a nice picnic area to have a fun day, a birthday party, a date, or just sit and relax. Moreover, this is the perfect place to get a tan, the sun is nice and hot. They also have shops that sell cooked food, snacks, water, and drinks. Also, you can rent beach chairs $500JA and umbrellas at $1000 Jamaican dollars ($5-10 US). There is plenty of parking for vehicles. I think it is $200 Jamaican dollar to park( $3US) if i am not mistaken. Unfortunately, the people who swim there just drop their trash on the ground or drop their garbage in the water. My daughter was walking on the beach and stepped on a pin. I had to remove it from her foot. I can't understand how people can be so careless. Also, 2 people were drinking from a plastic cup in the water, and they drank it and let it go in the water. That was very disgusting. The little kids took up the same cups and started playing with them. But you do have the grounds workers who clean the place, but it would be next to impossible to find a pin in the sand. Overall, I do enjoy going to Harmony Beach, and I probably won't stop going. It is free to enter, and it's a l9vely place for people to hang out. The secenic view of the sea is great. However, going forward, I will let my children wear their water shoes on the beach.
Taneisha T — Google review
It’s a great place for exercising, going with family friends and having me time. The water is warm and welcoming (little stones in the water take time). Very clean and nice staff.
Britney K — Google review
Such a beautiful beach. You don't have to pay to enter, but you will have to pay to use the Umbrella and Beach chairs.
Robert I — Google review
Beautiful area, well kept and plenty of security. It costs to park however, you can catch a cab to drop you off and walk right in without paying. Security will check your bags but shouldn't be a big deal if you abide by the rules. There is a snack/vendor available for purchasing drinks and snacks. You can rent umbrellas and chairs for a fee. There are available clean restrooms and a shower area. There are a few trees for shade and lots of open space.

Beautiful resort! Perfect location..Food was really good and quite a variety to choose from. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with. Really enjoyed spending time with the lifeguard Glenroy, he was one of the best!! And sweet Charlette, one of the entertaining staff was amazing to talk to and help with all the fun activities. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone! Pray they all stay safe through Hurricane Melissa!! 🙏

Beach was easily accessible from room. No frozen drinks on beach though. Beach was very clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was good. Several different cuisines available daily at the buffet. Steak restaurant was basic, no filet or premium sides, also open air dining which isn't bad but when dressed nice in the heat a little uncomfortable. Sports bar offers food 24 hrs burgers, hotdog, nachos, and various patties. Pools there are 3 not huge though. Definitely an adults resort. I was able to relax easily couldn't hear the outside noise from room. Mini bar was well stocked, Coca Cola, sprite, beer and other options including water in the mini fridge too. Overall nice resort would definitely recommend

I hate writing a review at this time considering what Jamaica is going through, but I believe Riu will return bigger and better and I want to come back one day. This was my second time staying at the Riu Montego Bay. I absolutely love the buffet food choices, the preparation, taste and quality. I don't eat meat or dairy and the options were always exceptional. I would like to commend the recreational team, bartenders, cooks, room and restaurant staff. The evening shows exhibited the performers commitment, hard work and skill, and the historical show was very informative and entertaining. Special shoutout to Teena who refreshed my room, what she did with my blanket was such a nice little touch. The property was usually clean, no complaints there. The only negative was during my stay and most of the other rooms in my family party; the mini fridges and liquor bottles were not replenished automatically every 2 days. Mine was not replenished at all during my 6 day stay. And, when guests are checking out, it would be nice to thank them for staying with you. Overall, I found Riu to be a great stay and worth the price.

This is my first time at this resort, and despite hurricane Melissa which they had no control over, I had a good time. The staff were amazing, this is the first resort that I've been to in jamaica & I come here often , were all of the staff were amazing, kind and caring. That's one thing I appreciated most was the great hospitality. Because no matter what the situation is if the hospitality is great it makes your day better. Overall the hotel is nice , the rooms are nice , me and my guest were very comfortable. The resort is beautiful and in good shape. Food was good . We made it threw the Hurricane still all standing so that should count for something lol. I just want to say thank you too all of the amazing staff for the daily hospitality and taking care of us during the storm. I wish nothing but safety, and a speedy recovery for Jamaica 🇯🇲 A huge thank you Riu. I will be returning when things get better. Much love Crystal 🫶🏾

We had an amazing stay in September of 2025. The resort was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice. The food was absoutely delicious!!! There was something to do on the property every night. They had taxis ready to take us wherever we needed to go. They had multiple companies offering great excursions. Did I mention the food? We definitely plan to go back!

The only thing is, we did not have help with our luggage on arrival and departure. A security guard did help us on departure 🙏 to him. We have a lovely time. The food was great, the bar staff great, the pool staff great (Fredrick) was so caring. Then the entertainment team, we loved them ( Suesy Q) and her management. The duty front desk manager’s and the bar Supervisor’s. Thank you 🙏 for taking care of us during the hurricane and after, with you guys not knowing what happened to your family. Hope you recover from the hurricane and we will see you guys again. Nuff love ❤️ Yeah man.
Orlan M — Google review
EVERYTHING was exceptional given we arrived only days prior to hurricane Melissa. The property was amazing and so was the staff. I have to add the following... 1. The preparation and communication before during and after Melissa was fantastic. We felt safe. 2. We were cared for and fed with a smile. The staff continued to care for us even during the storm by delivering bag lunches and pastries for breakfast through howling winds and sleeting rain. They knocked on our doors and the first thing the said was 'Please stay in your rooms...do not come out it is not safe out here" while delivering food to us. Meals were packed in to go boxes and water was provided to hundreds and hundreds of guests by people who I think had to be going through trauma and stress on a level that we could not imagine. Who does that??? Jamaicans, that's who! 3. The staff smiled, laughed and rallied around the tourists and one another in spite of it all and while it was obvious that they were tired, they never let on. 4. We had power and Wi-Fi throughout it all. Water service was off and on following the storm as they worked throughout the resort but totally understandable. 5. If it wasn't for their Wi-Fi we wouldn't have been able to send texts or make Wi-Fi calls to stay in touch with family and friends, arrange or check flights or keep ourselves entertained. 6. The Facility / Building was build like a fort!!! There was minimal damage to the actual resort and sleeping buildings. There was some stucco peeled. Visibly...A few areas of the resort had downed trees and gutters torn down and the outdoor steak house had damage along with a few glass barriers (short walls). I am eternally grateful that we were all able to stay in our rooms with little refrigerators, water, coffee makers, a bathroom, TVs (no signal) beds and a fan throughout the storm. Not everyone (every location) fared as well and for that I am sorry but this resort in my opinion was above board. 6. It was a high stress situation at times and most everyone was able to keep their emotions in check and not lash out on the staff. For the most part they were treated with kindness. It was an opportunity for my family to step up prior to leaving by leaving most if not all of our clothes and shoes in Jamaica for those who could use those items. Our vacation was planned for 6 days and we stayed for 13. The cost for the additional days was reduced for those who HAD to stay but expensive none the less but I'm not complaining. We will definitely return.

This was our third stay in this hotel. It was as amazing as we remembered from last time. Unfortunately we stayed during hurricane Melissa. All staff dealt with this tragedy with outstanding resilience and professionalism. We couldn't have asked for any more. Would highly recommend when the hotel is ready to accept guests again.

Disclaimer: I don’t usually stay at hotels with such low ratings (3.6), but I received a special promo through Wyndham and decided to take advantage of it. Overall, I would generously rate this hotel a 3 out of 5 due to views and food being good! Rooms Our room was very outdated, though it did have beach views. Unfortunately, it was located at the far end of the hotel near the dead-end beach that has swim club come out 5 am daily. Service This was hit or miss. Check-in took almost an hour and a half, even though we were only the third party in line. In the dining room, we often had to ask for basic items like spoons and forks, and many times the dining areas didn’t open on time. On several occasions, we waited up to 10 minutes for service or for someone to staff the food stations (for example, the spaghetti station). Location This is the hotel’s strongest feature and the main reason we chose it. It’s central to everything, just down the street from the airport, and even has a convenient spot on the beach where people can pick you up. The location is truly excellent.

DO NOT STAY HERE. My family and I booked four rooms at Grand Decameron through Virgin Holidays for a reunion, but the hotel refused to release our booking, leaving us stranded on the first night with no help and forced to share two rooms between ten people. The rooms were filthy—cockroach infestations, black mould hidden with paint, damp bedsheets, and a constant foul smell that made some of us develop rashes. Food hygiene was appalling, with flies and wasps covering most buffet items, and several of us got food poisoning that lasted two days. We were only given a third room seven days into the trip, and never got the fourth we paid for. Customer service was rude, dismissive, and unhelpful, with the managers literally hiding from us after giving us a faulty room. The advertised photos are completely misleading and not reflective of the actual conditions. We even witnessed animal cruelty, with cat traps set up on the property where you could hear distressed animals crying at night—deeply disturbing and unacceptable. The neglect and mismanagement throughout the stay was shocking, and neither the hotel nor Virgin Holidays took any responsibility despite daily complaints. Dirty dishes were left on tables, and the general hygiene was non-existent. This was honestly a 1-star experience at best, and I am reporting this hotel to the Jamaican Health and Safety Authority. Avoid at all costs—this ruined what was meant to be a peaceful family holiday. PROS: The Bar staff and drinks Location

I recently stayed at Grand Decameron Montego Bay and overall had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warm smiles, and the resort had such a laid‑back, friendly vibe that made it easy to unwind. One of the best parts of the stay was the entertainment team — they went above and beyond to make things fun every day. Special shout‑out to Zoe, who I saw perform several times. She was energetic, creative, and really knew how to draw people in. Her dance routines, games by the pool, and stage performances were crowd favorites — she always had a smile and made guests feel included. Even when the weather forced some adjustments, Zoe and the team kept the spirit high, improvising and keeping everyone laughing.

The hotel was quiet and the meal options were good. The other section of the hotel called Cornwall Beach was way better though in terms of food options and the modern lobby and coffee station was a wonderful touch. The checking process was not good. I arrived at 2:30 and finally got my room at 5:00. A whole day wasted for such a short trip of just 2 nights. Another thing was that a particular staff member in the snack area was asking for tips which we found inappropriate since we had just stepped foot on the property. We were also rudely awakened by a cockroach on night 2 of our stay this is quickly dealt with by my partner. The beds in the standard rooms were also very hard. We didnt have proper sleep throughout the stay. The days spent at the beach, seeing the views, eating at the Cornwall section of the property made it worthwhile. They need to update the Montego Beach section and get rid of the lenghthy checking in process. It dampens the whole trip. Also they need some sort of designated games room or something for entertainment.

My recent stay at Deja Resort in Montego Bay was an absolutely fantastic experience, and I couldn't be more impressed. The excellence of the service, the unique culinary offerings, and the overall peaceful environment made it a truly memorable vacation. The staff at Deja Resort are what truly set this place apart. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with respect and understanding. A great example of this was during our dinner at the Italian section of the restaurant. The waiters were incredibly attentive, always asking if we were finished before taking our dishes. Their respectful and interactive approach made the dining experience feel personal and welcoming. Speaking of the dining, the food was a highlight of the trip. The restaurant offers a creative and delicious blend of Jamaican and Italian cuisine. We were particularly impressed with the tomato sauces—they were light, flavorful, and so well-prepared that they were easy to digest. This unique fusion was a welcome surprise and a testament to the chef's skill. Beyond the food and service, the overall atmosphere was incredibly calm and peaceful. The decor was simple yet expressive, which created a relaxed mood. The lighting was just right, making the space feel both visible and comfortable. It's the kind of environment where you can truly unwind after a long day of exploring. I highly recommend Deja Resort to anyone visiting Montego Bay. It's an excellent choice for a relaxing vacation with top-notch service and unique, delicious food.

My daughter stayed at Deja Resort and went through a very distressing personal situation with her traveling companion. The staff’s compassion and professionalism were incredible. They moved her to a safe room, helped her report the incident, and made sure she was cared for every step of the way. From security to kitchen to maintenance, everyone treated her with kindness and respect. I’m forever grateful for how they protected and supported her during such a difficult time. Prior to the incident, she shared with me how much she loved the resort, the food, and the room.

We had a good time at Deja Resort. The staff is great and friendly. You get a free day pass to the beach across the street, but there you have to pay for chairs, umbrellas, etc. (we did not and we still enjoyed our time at the beach). I liked that it wasn't a big party resort, it was more on the quiet side with some shows here and there and other activities (ex. karaoke). We had no problem booking excursions and shuttles were on time. Would come back!

I’ve been to Docs Cave a very long time ago and this was my first time going back in decades. It was wonderful, accommodating and the staff was pleasant but hell yes to the burning sun. The beach was beautiful, but don’t underestimate your height with the water, I’m what 5ft 3in and the water was under my nose. There was 2 trampolines. Upon entry the cost is 70USD or 1200jmd, umbrellas are $1050 jmd and you get chairs with it. There’s food and they’ll come and serve you, their facility was good, there was a wash bath outside, and in the bathroom area there was a shower as well if you wanted to have a bath. I’d go again, I did fell asleep at some point, and it’s right behind S Hotel.

One of the best public beach you can go to in Montego Bay. Beach is beyond beautiful, crystal clear waters. There is an entry fee as well as rental fee for chairs and umbrellas. They have free WiFi but it doesn’t work so great. The restaurant has great food and even better drinks. Definitely recommend the Bob Marley drink. This place is great and definitely worth a visit if you’re in Mo-Bay!!!

This beach club is simply fantastic. It is great for your morning swims as it’s normally empty during the week days. It has breathtaking views, cool relaxing palm trees and the best thing of all is that it has a Starbucks on the beach. It has amazing white sand with clear blue waters. It has two docks that you can take beautiful panoramic shots of the property or just Instagram ready photos. It cost about 7 bucks to enter but you don’t have to leave the beach to get authentic Jamaican food. It has everything you need in one spot from the sand bar and grill. The meal prices are not cheap and are in the mid range but it is affordable.

Private beach club. You must pay to enter but it is a good deal for your money. They have a great food service with waitresses that will walk to where you are at the beach and get you what you want. Air Margaritaville Montego Bay is a vibrant beachfront restaurant and bar that captures the essence of laid-back island life infused with Caribbean culture. This lively spot offers an array of dining options, from casual bites like juicy burgers and mouthwatering pizzas to refreshing cocktails served alongside live music. With its inviting atmosphere and picturesque views of the Caribbean Sea, it's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a taste of paradise.
We ordered 2 burgers. It took quit a long time. When we saw we had to board we asked for a box. Even that took unfortunaty to long. so we ended up leaving and go to the plain because we didnt want to miss our fleight. We were upset because we didnt get the burgers but ok. Then the flight attendant called via the microphone that there were to burgers delivered!!! They managed to get the burgers deliverd to the plain. Compliments to the staff who did the extra effort of bringing the burgers, they where great! And the whole plane including the staff never experienced before!

The burger was good but... the people working here are not nice at all, they don't even look at you when talking, as if you are bothering them. The card machine was not working so they told my friend to go withdraw money from the atm (we had a 7$ fee for that) while asking me to follow them like a dog as if I was going to run away without paying. Poor last experience in Jamaica.

Decent meal to get at the airport! Ordered the taco salad and loved the chips it came with. Got the jerk pork burger, blackened chicken sandwich and cheeseburger. Good portion for price with average items aiming $15-$20. The nachos that another table had ordered also looked delicious. Bottled water (SMALL) is expensive at $3.50 each in my opinion but I guess that is just airport pricing overall. there are two sides to the restaurant and a retail store in the middle for last minute souvenirs.

The food was ok here. It was a bit dry and lacked a bit of love.

Service was friendly, although a bit slow. The food came out quick; however, placing our order, and receiving our check after asking for it three times is what took a long time, and we were sitting at the bar top. Otherwise I would have given 5 stars. The food is delicious and I truly wish I had one closer to home. Great food options and prices are as expected for being a tourist spot.

My experience in jamaica with mostly everyone was so nice till i got to this place. I found the staff soo racist towards people who are not from that country. Our flight was delayed and the gate 1 was near there restaurant which was not busy at all. The waiting area at gate 2 was packed. My friend and I decided just to sit on the table when we were asked to move and again from the bar stools because we were not dining in. “Now I understand the policy of you cannot sit if you are not ordering” but does that only applies to people who are not from there? Or it applies to everyone. They didnt not ask people from there to move when they were not ordering anything but asked my friend and i to not even stand there since the area was so packed. The waitress was continuously looking at those people and not once asked them to move. I find that very disrespectful and 100% racism. Regardless whatever the situation is “rule for one, rule for all” . The dissrespect by the staff at this restaurant (except the supervisor who started off a little rude but did understand eventually)

Located on Sunset Drive, Montego Bay Yacht Club is home to the newly opened Marina Palms restaurant. The elegant interior, designed by local expert Kathryn Pinto May, features a sophisticated blue and white color scheme. Specializing in seafood, the menu offers locally caught delicacies prepared according to diners' preferences. Guests can also enjoy stunning views and live entertainment while dining at this establishment.
Every time I go to Jamaica, I go to the Yatch club. The food and drink are delicious and the staff is very courteous. I love that they have all those mango trees because I am always getting mangoes every time I visit. The view is amazing, and I love the tranquility you get from looking out on the water. I highly recommend visiting, you won't regret it. FYI, I am always eating off my food without taking a pic. Lol! That's how good the food is. The prices for the meals are reasonable. They range from about $10US to $60US. They do have dishes on the menu that kids can enjoy. They have pasta dishes with lobster, shrimp, and chicken. They have burgers, chicken straps, oxtail, curried goat, steak, and many other dishes.

The food and drinks were absolutely divine, and the atmosphere was wonderfully laid-back with great music and stunning views. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, catch up with friends, and savor both the meal and the scenery.

The entrance is beautiful and the lobby is very comfortable. The bathroom is clean and modernized. I love the outside sitting area with views of the marina. Our server was very friendly and the drink menu had a wide variety.

I particularly enjoyed the outdoor setting. It's a very romantic feeling to have dinner in the open under the stars. The food was good but I think the drinks are the hallmark of this place and rightfully so since it's at a Yacht club.

Went for father’s day, had a terrible experience. The food took an hour and a half to come out and when the food finally came out one of the fish we ordered had a metal wire in it, which my mom almost swallowed. Later on as my dad was finishing up on his pasta he found yet another long piece of wire in his. We were told two stories, a woman first came out and told us that the kitchen does not use any sort of metal to clean and then later on the waiter told us it might have been the metal brushes they use. In the end we left without even getting a word from anyone, they just gave us the bill and wanted us to leave.

Limited menu. Prices on higher side. Service was terrible. I only had appetizers. They were good.
