The 25 best malls in Maspalomas

The boulevard is definitely a must-see when you're staying in one of the Hotels in the Meloneras-area. It's very clean, has great views (of the sea) and there are plenty of smalls shops, bars and cafes where you can grab a drink of snack. There's also a supermarket and small shopping mall nearby.

This broad paved walk runs from the Meloneres/Maspalomas beach past numerous shops, hotels and restaurants and is a great place to watch the sunsets from. The lighthouse is one of a number of landmarks that feature on this mostly flat walkway and there is a constant flow of people throughout the day and into the evening. If you're staying in Meloneres you can't avoid it and neither should you.

Great place to walk around and have some dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. Love it way more then Playa del ingles

Such a beautiful place to stroll along at any time of the day. Great for an early morning stroll, afternoon lunch and evening dinner view. Sunsets are very busy during peak times as people gather to watch it set over the concrete factory in the distance. Highly recommend coming here and experiencing for yourself.

We had a lovely meal here one night, sadly all the shops close at 10pm so didn't get to see much. You can tell there is money in this area. All in all a nice place to visit in the evening.

So bad it’s good. Very run down but it’s incredibly quirky. Inside is a ragtag bunch of supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, sex fetish places. It is mainly populated with German tourists who are 60+ which always makes for an odd atmosphere. Has toilets available but for some weird reason the male cubicles lack any toilet roll and even lack toilet roll holders as if to confirm hey hadn’t even considered it as a possibility.

Not much happing here. Spar shop is handy but lacks fresh meats, chicken and fish. No atmosphere. The restaurant on the ground floor looking out into the square is nice to pass a hour or so. Strange layout and outside is like something from Universal park. Very different to your standard shopping centre. Pubs up top are very smokey and mainly English and Scots. Its not for everyone.

It looks epic on the outside, many photo opportunities, also beautiful painted benches inside, but it has a feeling of an abandoned urbex building and has seen better days. Lots of shops or restaurants were closed when we were there and the rest can feel like an odd mix but there are plenty cool shops like a beautiful crystal shop and bunch of the typical touristy trinkety shops, great for getting a souvenir, also a cute ceramics and soaps shop on the upper floor. Nice shoppers, most of them not too pushy. We even found free public bathroom which was in a decent state (close to the crystal shop). I think the Cita is worth visiting but I would kinda not want to go alone :D

This review isn’t about the shopping centre it’s about “New Gold jewellery shop” amazing lady in there sells NOMINATION charms and accessories. i got a NOMINATION charm bracelet from my birthday and couldn’t find anywhere in the area that sold them but then accidentally stumbled across this place that sells them. thought i’d add to google maps in case anyone else wants to get a charm while on holiday. the lady was so kind and didn’t try to annoyingly upsell me and she showed me how to attach the charm. the shopping centre it’s self feels so dodgy but that shop (picture attached) was so lovely

Looks like stuck in time. Wasn't touched from when it was new. Abstract, weird, odd but very interesting looking place from outside. Inside is just terrible, lots of tunnels you go around just to find nothing. Map on entrance would be nice. Got great deal on perfumes in Douglas shop there tho

This is the most kitsch shopping centre I have ever seen. It is such a mix of everything, but mostly cheap knockoffs, supermarkets and some pubs/bars/restaurants that I guess are good value for money if you are into these kind of places. Honestly, I was not impressed, but I would go just to see it as a curiosity.

Gave this place 4 stars just because it's awesome to walk through. Like a map on call of duty! It was December and everything was close d but I'm sure its like that all year. Some shops and a restaurant that looked nice but pretty desolate.

This shopping center is so miserable that it’s worth a visit before being torn down sometime soon hopefully. It probably had its peak era sometime in the mid 1990s and nowadays almost all shops are closed. There is indeed a great HiperDino supermarket (best supermarket in the area, I would say). There’s also a bazar with the typical junk that you would expect and a couple of restaurants.

Place is empty but still has the steak house and supermarket. Nice walk to it. But not impressed has so much potential for it beside Holiday world park.

This place is stuck in 2005. The people and vendors are gone, only leaving the visitor with a feeling of uneasiness. An eerie reminder of what the south of Gran Canaria probably used to be. I found Maspalomas to be pretty soulless in general, with this shopping center being the cherry on top of the liminality of the area.

Thought I'd visit this "shopping centre" as it was close to where I was staying. As I approached it, it reminded me of a scene from The Walking Dead. Almost derelict. There was a bike rental place, bar and pizza place (only places I noticed were open). Quickly left.

Great lost place. The hightime is gone. We was there before 30 years and today. Great achitecture bkoke slow down. I hope the future brings an new life to here

Being coming to Goo for last 10 years or so, it's like the start of out Canary holiday ritual. The pizza & pasta were huge portions. Although they didn't use the proper palma ham but normal English ham on their pizza which is a same. But can't fault their service & people watching environment. Will still come again next year.

We were getting some dinner after a few cocktails and ended up at Gio Restaurant Bar Café. The service was friendly and quick. The waiter arranged a table especially for us and our drinks, food and bill came promptly. We both had pasta, which was simple but good. It was what we wanted after a few drinks. The atmosphere was great—lots of people coming and going to soak up the Yumbo centre energy. It was busy without being chaotic, and the space worked well for groups or couples. One thing to keep in mind is the toilets. They are beautiful but can have a queue, so it’s worth keeping an eye on them before you need to go. ★★★★☆

Terrible service, bland food, and zero sense of hospitality. I ordered a pizza diavola and a beer. What could possibly go wrong with something so simple? Turns out, everything. The pizza was mediocre at best: soggy in the middle, burnt at the edges, and tasteless overall. It looked better than it tasted, and even that’s being generous. The pepperoni had no flavor, the cheese was low-quality, and the dough was tough. Service? Nonexistent. The staff couldn’t care less. Unfriendly, slow, and completely disorganized. I sat there wondering if I had suddenly become invisible. It’s clear they’re used to tourists they’ll never see again, because that’s exactly how they treat you. To top it off, the place is overpriced for what it is. €15.20 for this disaster of a meal. There are countless better places to eat in Playa del Inglés and Yumbo Centrum, don’t waste your time or money here. Final verdict: A tourist trap with a fake Italian name. Keep walking.

Absolutely delicious! A huge menu both food and drink. Had the spag Bol and it was divine!

Literally the best food in Gran Canaria. The best Italian for sure, but not only that. The steak is out of this world, and everything else on the menu goes far beyond expectations. What makes it even more special is the people. Everyone here is so warm, attentive, and genuinely nice, always ready to help and make you feel at home. Every time we’ve been here, it has been a wonderful experience. From the beer tips to the little Italian lessons, it’s always a pleasure.

The bar is located in a prime spot at the Yumbo centre. Great place to have a drink and people watch. We also had food here and was not disappointed. I ordered the carbonara and can say it was once of the best I've had in a long time! Couldn't recommend the food enough. Staff are friendly and overall vibe is decent, good place to start the night 🙌🏼

Everywhere in the Yumbo looks the same, so it's really hard to judge where to eat. Let me tell you - one of the best Pasta dishes I've ever eaten. Gnocchi with Prawns! Great portions, great size, rapid service - everything was perfect. It was only once I finished eating that I realised I should have taken a picture to add to this review! Also, the toilets were lovely and clean... Always a bonus!

Beautiful steak restaurant where we had a chatiubriand. It was delicious with a selection of 4 sauces. It was supposed to be medium but was slightly under but still edible so bare that in mind if you don't like rare steak!

Please, please, please try this hidden gem. Whilst the location is not amazing and it is in a very quiet shopping mall the food was absolutely fantastic. We went to a family of three and we cleared our plates. I opted for a meat stone board where you cook the meat yourself. This was a fantastic experience which I’ve never encountered before. The daughter had spaghetti Bolognese which she said was one of her favourites and the wife had pasta she loved it.

Been here twice in three days! Shared the bruschetta and the garlic prawns to start. Had the ‘onion lovers’ steak each time which was incredible. Cooked medium rare as requested and beautiful Gorgonzola sauce. Staff attentive and friendly. Would recommend

We came to the Cita Centre and chose here for dinner. The pizza was absolutely delicious and one of the best Diavola pizzas I’ve ever tasted. It was packed with flavour with plenty of toppings though I personally could have had more peppers for more heat. The dessert was also very good, as was my Mojito. I’ve given less stars for service as the man who greeted us did not show us to our table, just gestured to where we should sit. Any time I’ve eaten anywhere in Gran Canaria over my two week holiday, I’ve been asked what language then the correct page found on the menu, then the menu handed to me. This waiter did neither, just handed us the menus which we then riffled through the many pages to find the English menu. Not a huge issue, just different to what I’ve experienced everywhere else. Our female waitress was very nice and attentive. I would definitely return and have one of the pasta dishes next time as the ones they served to other customers looked delicious. A very nice, reasonably priced restaurant with great food.

Very impressed by the price-quality balance! Big portions with amazing quality for only 10-20 euros. Some of the best schnitzels we’ve ever had. Great pizzas, the pasta was also good! Friendly staff that works fast, calmly and efficiently. Music isn’t too loud, there’s a calm and cozy, yet luxurious atmosphere. Absolutely recommend!!

Such a big thank I should appreciate to this restaurant since they can arrange the surprise what I already told them fot my partner’s birthday. They arranged the table with birthday wishes and welcome champagne. The food was amazing and the service is high to the top. The waitress was really nice and always took care of us and pouring the wine to our glasses. In the end, we ordered a dessert and they put such a candle to surprise my partner. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you want to arrange such birthday party, do not hesitate to ask them. They will do it perfectly. I

Well.... we stumbled across this restaurant... I'm glad we did.... Great service, polite staff, clean bathrooms... good food and fantastic prices the Burgers are to die for... full of flavour and not cheap tat!!

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Starter was fantastic and mains were Beef Stroganoff, Steak, Paella and Spaghetti with prawns. Finished off with Ice creams and a crepe to share. Ice creams are huge probably one between two is sufficient. Thanks to Norberto for looking after us. Will definitely return.

The food is great. However, only 1 star. Visited twice in one week. Waited 45 mins for club sandwich on the first visit and thought that must have been just an issue on the day. No, it wasn’t. Came back today 1/4/22 and waited for an hour for a pizza. They have approximately 30-40 tables and being post pandemic, they are nearly the only place opened in the Dayton the ground of Yumbo. Therefore it gets busy. They only have one waitress running around. To be honest, I’ve felt very sorry for her as she was getting a mouthful from a lot of the guests. They need to improve this or not even reasonably priced decent food will not help them

Same old same old but plenty if shops open

Not many businesses with constant opening days or hours, the few that you can see open from the front are good, and there's the Heineken cafe at the back which is always popular, however there are a lot of empty establishments there. Unless you know what you are going for, then it's not worth paying a visit. The British bars and restaurants do excellent food and is worth a visit if you are in the area, and Al's bar is good for nightly entertainment.

A very tired run down old shopping centre. A few Dutch restaurants hanging on for dear life a couple of car hire an English Café the usual tourist shops selling tat.

Lot of pubs closed down here now but britanna restaurant best on the island for food, totally recommend their breakfasts

Cheap and cheerful. Kim's bar during the day €1.50 a pint of Carling and the food is spot on.

I witnessed three different employees giving cash game poker players hundreds of euros less than they should have received. Theft? They insist that you color up your chips at the end of the night AT THE TABLE. But they don’t use chip racks and they make “mistakes”. One time they gave me 250 euros too little. Another time at the cashier window they gave me 200 euros too little (because they count without using chip racks unlike every other casino in the world). And a German guy went to the bathroom at the end of the night and the manager Nicole shorted him 300 euros but only gave him an additional 250 euro.

Nice and friendly place. Small casino, but staff is friendly. I only play blackjack, and rules were not that bad. No double down on soft hands except 10. , 9 or 11s if I recall properly which limits the edge on the player. Other double downs are also limited. Pay 3:2 which is OK. Minimum bet is 5€ which is great to be able to play longer sessions without breaking the bank. Drinks and food should be cheaper though, but they are not a rip off either. I really like it in other casinos where after one or two hours of playing they will reach out with some free drinks, even if it's just a courtesy beer.

Needs a new concept. Cool looking building, not much inside. The bartender is excellent though, one ofnthe best espresso martinis I have had

WARNING: VERY LOW RTP % (Return to Player) on the Slots here! For me the lowest RTP I ever experienced in a landbase casino. And I saw a lot: Vegas, Macau for example. This is a totally rip-off place for playing the slots (old selection as well). The table games area looks fine.

This is a very decent spot. Good range of slots in the casino plus an immediate area with shops, a supermarket and a good choice of restaurants including Chinese and Thai. Over a 2 week break it served us very well. Better location than the Maspalomas casino.

Lots of shops and a few places to eat and a free toilet. Nice things to do and see for small children as well. Upstairs, a versatile supermarket Dino, with a nice miniature model of a Christmas village in front.

It's good enough to get your basic shopping done. It has a nice and big supermarket, a bazaar shop, a game store, a toy store and some more. Some stores are closed (permanently most likely). Not worth as a trip goal but good for basic shopping.

I love this place but every time I go there I see more empty shops. Really bad.

Hiperdino has extensive product lines. Shoes and clothing are ok, not quality but cheap

There is a big, well stocked hyperdino on the upper level, a costume/kids store, vodafone and not much else. The nik-nak shop at the opposite end is full of bargains. The recently refurbished toilets are hands free and well maintained. It's a shame the rotisserie chicken shop closed down a few years ago.

Ghost 'shopping center'. Would not recommend to anyone. Most stores are permanently closed. Edit: Hi ghost, i wanted to support local shops, that's why i went there, but there were almost none. And why should i buy on the internet. I bought a lot here in other shopping malls. And 23 other shops? Don't count the closed ones! But your reaction says everything...very hostile and immature.

I would go back to this Centre any day. Interesting shops. Plenty of perfume stores cheaper than duty free. Purchased quite a few items at Varadero. Also has a supermarket just outside the mall. Good place to enjoy amazing sunsets.

We cannot recommend this mall, we were simply harassed several times in less than 15 minutes both in a couple of shops and a restaurant (El Pedacito Canario) because we did not want to shop or eat. Roiya Toras was particularly bad, we were unprovoked and scolded in the strongest terms as we left the shop. There is probably a good reason why there were relatively few customers at this centre.

Convenient and practical. Pleasant experience as a Summer Vacations shopping center should be.

I bought from Bambinos some clothes for my daughter, it was mentioned they have sale but the prices were doubled than Mayoral shop itself! They also don't accept return! It is scam!

As a shopping center it is good lots of shops and variety, however, in the unbranded shops selling a mix of items be careful as prices are quoted 4 or 5x higher than you can get elsewhere

The salespeople are very pushy – it’s quite disturbing. There was a salesperson on the second floor. After trying to sell me everything, he got really upset when I didn’t buy anything.

Such a weird place... roof open, mostly fake shops (selling Gucci, Prada, ... fakes) and no AC.

Honestly we visited at night to find a kebab shop. Everything was closed except a few bars etc upstairs which we wernt interested in due to having kids with us. Kebab was very over seasoned to the state we didn't actually eat it. Onion rings, burgers and chips however were tasty and well enjoyed by the kids. Staff were very polite and gave us our canned drinks free of charge as he saw the kids and I didn't like the kebab, even though we didn't say anything. We were quite happy to the cheap cost to just buy different food, after all it was well cooked etc just not to our taste as we don't add salt etc to our daily food so it was a lovely gesture on behalf of the shop.

A low-key mall with a selection of shops. Seldom crowded. A couple of beauty parlors, shoemaker that can also make you a spare key fast. The highlight for some people might be the shop that sells various recreational stuff, for growing something smokable.. if you catch my drift :) A nice kebab shop, a meat seller (I'm sure there's a more proper name for that), and several others, as well as a couple of nice cafés, gaming shops ("slot machine" type and one for betting/lottery, I would guess). Unfortunately, like so many other physical shops, there are quite a few closed spaces in the maze of mall, so the selection is unfortunately somewhat limited. Let's hope physical shopping makes a comeback!

Super location, great staff, best place to hang out with friends, to meet guys, to have a flirt and maybe more (darkroom ...). The Bar is MEN ONLY (Singles, Couples, Groups are welcome). Great to kick off ur evening, or after dinner, or to get ur final drink(s). But I miss beige big soft Teddybear! Hope to be back soon!

Been to Tom's many years, but on this holiday inwas really looking forward to going again, it is not the same anymore. Luckily we were a group, when a guy who was obviously very high on something just joined our group and being polite we said hello when someone from the next table said do not drink your drink as he put something into our glass. Then on the floor we're 2 tablets he had dropped. The staff were good in moving him on. So. Please be aware of this guys. Also my next opinion is the dark room. The smell in there in the last week was putrid, a bad smell of bodily fluids, I am being polite. Guys if you are going please shower and douche. I thi k the staff should monitor this more as we were not the only ones complaining about the smell inside. A guy was cleaning in his arse in the urinal and it was not a nice sight to see. The prices have risen sharply this year, but to compliment the prices please have a cleaner environment for the customer. Just be alert guys. Thanks for the reply Andy. I can't just come and see you as I am now home but your bar staff a black guy and a mixed raced lad we're fully aware of this incident. This incident was last Saturday 5th July Infact the mixed race lad he may be Spanish was very good with the situation and ushered the pest away. As for the cleanliness please tell, Me you are aware of this. The whole place was talking about the smell. Just send staff in to. Monitor the place and keep on top Of it. It is a great establishment to go too. I have done for many years and it is a busy place. I made these comments to make you better. This is not a bad review at all. Just pointing out some errors that can be improved for all. I am not with any other bar. I am just a holiday maker letting you know what's happening.

"WHY DOES THIS PLACE NOT SELL C@CKRINGS"? Mine "fell" off and couldn't find a replacement. I had to borrow one from a friend. Otherwise I would have given a five star review. Hopefully for my next holiday in the wonderful Gran Canaria Toms will have "supplies" for the play room.

The place to be in Maspalomas. Great crowd, always busy in the evening. Cruising area. Reasonable drink prices.

This bar has been completely redesigned and has a great atmosphere. The staff are attentive and Alex who owns the venue makes the experience!!

We stopped by to take a break from all the pushy vendors trying to sell us junk, and we were happy with the food and the service! I had the lemon chicken and my partner had the premium goats cheese burger which she said was amazing and hasn't stopped banging on about it yet! I didn't enjoy my lemon chicken quite as much some parts of the chicken were a little soggy and others tough but the potatoes won it back for the dish! We both really enjoyed our ice-cream and they made excellent photos to make those back home jealous! In the end we tipped about €4 as the waiter was nice and overall we were happy with what we paid for.

It was an amazing place! Felt happy to sit and have a good time here! I recommend it with my heart!

Great place to people watch as well as enjoy the music within and free m neighbouring establishments. They usually give you free nuts too - which is a nice touch!

Bar on the CC Yumbo ground floor. Staff is polite but not always friendly unless you’re a regular. Branded drinks for a fair price.

Management and staff are a credit to this café bar which is run very efficiently and the cocktails are to die for, not literally of course.

Service and atmosphere are really good. And OMG , the waiter is so so beautiful. This is enough reason for you to go !

This place is one of the best gay clubs (no paying for entry) in the Yumbo center. The drinks are worth their price. A vodka is filled to the top. Prices okay. The staff is fast working and friendly. Music is all kinds of genre, sometimes I liked it sometimes not but as there are 2 rooms you can switch. Recommend this place!

We love this bar always a go to place when we are on Gran Canaria. The DJ (OR VJ, as they play videos is a great chap and very friendly. Can’t wait until April!

Place is split into two areas, each with different music. No DJ,... for high prices you pay for drinks here, you should not be subjected to the same boring playlist, night after night, 12 months of the year! A place where guys parade endlessly. If they were boxes of chocolates, they'd eat themselves up alive... Post-Covid, in my opinion, this place is in decline!

Great place to finish your night in the Yumbo, great music, mix of Spanish and English, plus lots from other nations. Proper drinks and great service from Gustavo and the team. Always feel welcome here.

My first holiday to Playa Del Inglés with my best friend and he recommended Mykonos Bar. Great atmosphere, music and the service was excellent. We had an amazing time and this bar is the best, highly recommend it. The bar staff are super friendly, especially Felipe working the corner bar opposite the outside bar.

Two dancefloors, English or Spanish music. Forgot one? Never mind, the same boring playlist every night, all year long. a place where guys parade, no more. €6 for a desperado, prices have doubled in 2 years. Once crowded, this bar is a shadow of its former self.

My leather jacket got stollen on the dance floor. The security didnt help much. Camera on the entrance was not available to check if someone left with the jacket.

Bouncers can be aggressive if you get unlucky.

This place is not queer friendly. The bouncers are extremely violent and abusive. They hit my friends in the face and beat them to the ground for no reason. Be careful!

I have been there two times, thursday and friday. Thursday was great but on friday the music was really lame and killed all the atmosphere. I talked to a lot of people and nobody enjoyed it, it was kind of lounge house music. Apparently this happens several times, please stop it, just play the music the people like and not what the dj likes!

The atmosphere was euphoric and exciting although there was an equal air of facism & superficiality. The interior was decorated in modern decor. Bar staff were efficient. Security & door staff are serious & try to look the part.. Music played was modern dance/ house/electro/ hip hop... depending on the DJ.

Racist bouncers and racist management. Refused our only brown friend to come back into the club with a fictional story that she had hit a member of staff and then when questioned they refused to show any security footage and wouldn’t speak to us reasonably. Would rate zero stars if that was possible.

It always has a vibrant atmosphere, genuinely attentive staff, and a cocktail menu that’s packed with the favourites and plenty of top-shelf spirits to choose from. The pick-and-mix sweets are a playful bonus, but what truly sets this place apart is the team. One time there were no tables so they created space for us. During our latest visit the guys remembered our drink order six months after our last visit! Now that’s service with heart and style. If you’re looking for a spot that blends great drinks, great vibes, and even better people, make this your go-to. We’ll definitely be back!

Seemed like a good place if you want to get some souvenirs or a cheap football shirt - we certainly found the place a bit different...! Wasn't particularly busy when we went either (mid afternoon).

Stay upstairs if your shopping. Go downstairs and see a fantastically different bit of culture. We didn't stay late. The usual load of tut shops are waiting upstairs and around the perimeter for the whole family. Get the shutters up on the closed premises, the fountain working again and this place will be extra lit Gran Can.

We visited the Yumbo 7 times mainly to eat. Saw some drag artists which was good. We went on Fetish week which we didn't realise it was that week until we got there.
