Nice and well seasoned food. Warm introduction and welcome and patience from Andiswa Mbemba. We were directed to a comfortable table and very patient with us. She served us with a smile till we left. It was my first experience at the blue room and will be coming back. Thank you also to the captain Brighton who also checked on us by our table.

Friendly welcoming waiters and staff, place is nice and clean, the bubbly service is quiet slow however everything from drinks to food is great, atmosphere and music are lovely, don’t even forget the very affordable prices and specials!!! Definitely a must go to place!!!

Housee 22 the place is a shadow of it's former glory from what it used to be, from hosting international dj's like Lars Behrenrot (from Deeper Shades of House). It's deteriorating everyday but still the food is nice there is car wash on-site as well ample parking space.

Yoh the food this place serves is to die for. I always come here every second week for a plate of properly cooked African food. The establishment is neat and has some proper seating. There is also enough parking outside during the day. I don't really come here during weekends and at night so I don't know much about it's night time vibes.

My friend and I went to Summit Grill today without knowing they had two events happening and that the restaurant would be so busy. We only found out when the waiter told us, and we understood things might take longer because of that. However, we had a really disappointing experience. The waiter was rushing around attending to the event guests, and we could barely find him when we needed him. When we gave him that feedback, he got defensive and seemingly annoyed at us. At first, we weren’t planning to order food but later changed our minds, which I believe should be completely okay. Instead of feeling welcomed, the waiter got upset, saying he had already asked us three times if we wanted to order. We were still deciding, and his rude attitude made us feel so uncomfortable and if it wasn’t for my friend, I would have left immediately. Another thing that bothered me is that we also had to wait a very long time just to get something as simple as a teaspoon. I understand busy days are tough, but customers shouldn’t have to suffer poor service because of that. I really hope Summit Grill can hire more staff or manage bookings better during events so guests don’t feel overlooked or rushed.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience here. My phone was stolen during my visit on the night of May 31st to June 1st. Despite realizing it immediately, the staff offered no help, did not call the police, and showed zero responsibility. I was left shocked, helpless, and without my phone. Extremely disappointed with the lack of security and customer care. I do not feel safe recommending this place.

Pub food not really my thing, but really enjoyed this outing indeed.... Our waiter was knowledgeable knew his menu and specials, great service overall received.... Maybe time for some new wine glasses ... can't drink wine from gin glass but small things that need some attention. Food was tasty....fresh.. and well presented. Chicken mushroom burger - personal preference maybe leave the 1000 own made island sauce off makes bun soggy and falls apart.... but this just own preference, very tasty can't falt. T-Bone.... well prepared and veggies were awesome something different indeed The extra sauce- maybe consider bigger portion for just not enough, just a thought. But over all.... enjoyed the atmosphere 👌 Will we be back - most definitely loved the menu need to come and try some of those starters.... Jalapeños poppers and all! We recently celebrated my Ouma's retirement at Whisk Wine Bar, and it was absolutely amazing! The ambience was perfect for our celebration. While others enjoyed their drinks, I personally loved my hot chocolate and the delicious whiskey cocktail. The food was great, and the service was excellent, making for a truly memorable day. Highly recommend!

We visited the Whisk Wine Bar on 29 December 2024.A five star rating for food,service and atmosphere this is what Whisk Wine Bar is.We had a kids chicken strips and chips, a focaccia and quiche with chips which was all fantastic and well priced too.You also have lots of sauces to choose from free.The food was really good and great service.Play area for kids is plentiful and your kids will love this place.I would highly recommend bringing the family and kids to come lovely food, service and atmosphere here.A great restaurant and place to spend time with loved ones.

Used to love this place, haven’t visited in a while, seems it got a bit expensive for the amount of food we received. Service was great, she really went out of her way for us. Deserts was great, had all of them and shared across the table, the peppermint tart is a bit funky as it was very gelatin heavy. Food is great just pricey vs portion size.

First time I went to Whisk today. What a totally awesome place for the whole family. The food was also awesome and the prices are affordable. Will definitely be going there again, with friends and family.

Kids are well entertained during your visit here with the pond of ducks, jungle gyms, and Plantland next door. Waiters are friendly, and waiting time is standard. The food is good, and the vibes are great. The venue is well decorated and interesting. The restaurant itself is way more memorable than the actual food. The waitress recommended the spinach and feta balls, but it was dense, not well seasoned, and couldn't find any feta. It's not something I would order again. The pizza I'd give an 8 out of 10 and the pastas a 7. The last time I ate there, I had the butternut soup and mild peri peri chicken wings, which was AMAZING! Definitely going to order that again. The bathrooms could maybe use some upgrades in several areas and proper cleaning Whisk is good for meeting up with friends, special events like baby and bridal showers, business meetings, birthday parties, and romantic dates. It's an all-rounder

The food is absolutely amazing! A favourite of mine and they have the most divine platters to share. Their chips are out of this world. The service is good and the waiters are always friendly! A beautiful out of doors experience.

This is a great place to visits after work to grab a drink and just unwind. They have a grate selection if drink and also offer craft beer by draft or bottle. The place normally attracts a party crowd later into the evening and becomes rather busy but each to their own when it comes to joining or not. They also offer a nice food selection, from meals to baskets, something to eat before going crazy with the drinks. Overall a great place to come unwind.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, and an accommodating environment for a group of friends on a night out. Only aspect I did not enjoy was the kind of music played (modern hits that students will appreciate) but it won't keep me from returning. Will enjoy many more happy nights there. We had a small party of four celebrating my soon-to-be sister-in-law's upcoming wedding, and we were so excited for a fun night at The View. We were a few minutes late for our reservation, but we notified the restaurant in advance through their WhatsApp booking channel. Despite our notification, when the first person from our party arrived, she was told that our table had been given away. When the rest of us arrived, we were told the same thing, despite having notified them in advance that we were 15min minutes late. We were then seated at a table at the furthest point of the bar. As the night went on, we got colder and colder. The other tables in the bar had heaters and were protected from the cold by vertical shade nets, but we had no such protection. The single heater in our vicinity was too far away to provide any warmth. When our server checked on us, I told her we were freezing. She simply apologized and said no other tables were available, making no effort to find a solution like moving the heater closer. At that point, it was clear we were not a priority, so we just asked for the bill and left. It’s unacceptable to be treated with such a careless attitude. On top of that, the stairs leading to the restaurant are a hazard; they don't look like they meet the minimum tread of 250mm required by building regulations, making it very dangerous and easy to slip and fall coming down those stairs. I would never recommend this bar to anyone.

Ok, so obviously the best thing about this place is the location, it's located about 5 floors up, so one has incredible views around 240 degrees. The pizza was actually very good as was the mezze platter. Service was efficient and friendly, the menu is not huge but there is a nice variety of choices. A lovely option for sundowners etc.

The venue is smaller than expected, but the atmosphere is great. Nice pizza! Saw Radio Kalahari Orkes live, great performance. The small size of the venue means there are less people, so it's easier to chat with the performers during breaks or after the show.

Channel M is such an amazing place to be. I always go there with friends to hang out. I enjoy the vibe as well. We went there last week Friday with friends to celebrate my friend's birthday,we got a bottle serve by a manager called Kagiso, he was very welcoming and gave us great service.. 10 months ago I was assaulted by the bounchers at Channel M for trying to protect my friend they tried dragging him to the back next to where u pay entrance fee on the right there is a door....17/03/23 I went back there with my bf an friend after 10 months mara what's happening my friend was assaulted while I'm playing pool I'm writing this cause I'm not going to be discriminated and beaten up everytime I go there or with friends......be aware of channel M ....it's a bad place!!!! Good looking ect security an protection services very bad you'll lose your life there unnecessary because of bad security staff who didn't get training or impost training on how to be bouncers or whatever....that place will never seee again .....gust luckkk to those who is still thinking of going there......Blessed weekend

My new favourite place to go to! They have great specials and their food is Amazingly good. I love that it is also family oriented, where there are sections for families and other sections where kids are not allowed due to smoking. On some occasions they have live bands there, and if not they play good music. I think my favourite part is the staff/ management as they are always helpful, very friendly, create awesome vibes and just giving their best!

Yesterday we arrived late at Bosvelder to watch the Bokke play Argentina, but when we got there the restaurant was fully booked , however the management went all out to help us finding a great spot close to the big screen by carrying extra table in for us... The general vibe was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly... And as a bonus, the food was great... This was my first trip to Bosvelder but definitely not my last... You guys are GREAT... Priva was surely a treat with some highs and lows. The food was fantastic! Platings were beautiful, food was freshy prepared on your request and it tasted delicious! It was a real treat. The restaurant ambiance was a bit of a letdown. Outside, the heat was unbearable (probably because of the heat wave), and the inside was a lot cooler. The restaurant inside had a distinct smell of cigar or cigarette smoke, which I did not find pleasant. The windows and sliding doors were also really dirty. It really needed a good clean.

Priva offers a wonderful culinary experience specializing in pairing their dishes with exquisite wines. The space is well utilised with both inside and outside seating as well as boasting with a cigar lounge for those who choose to indulge in them whilst enjoying a good whiskey or other drink alike. The atmosphere is delightful with good lighting, well spaced tables and the best of service from their waiters and sommeliers. They offer a wide selection of wines from their cellar as well as a large variety of cigars from their humidor. The cumulative experience is one resembling the lotus-eaters and one I'd certainly take the pleasure of delighting in again.

This was a mixed experience. Starter: first time being served nearly uncooked/super cold rice in sushi (mid winter), would have been happy with a simple presentation rather than in cooked sushi. Looked complicated tasted bad. Was offered a replacement of tempura prawn that my husband had, didn't like them because oil used doesn't taste like the best quality. Our mains were awesome, the lamb shoulder is the best lamb dish - tender and flavourful. The salmon was PERFECTLY medium - good fish (heated plates). The deserts were delicious we both loved them. The manager/sommelier brought a great vibe.

The service was so horrible, got told they don't have ice but everyone that came after us got ice and when I was directed to the manager by this sweet waitress he told me he's not the manager and if there's no ice then there isn't with a very nasty dismissing attitude...the manager that was the Dj...very rude and unprofessional...I wanted to buy the ice..I was not looking for freebies...do better.we are supporters..treat us as such...la tella...sies

Place is fyn & I enjoyed the food at the restaurant side, however the phone number goes through to a guy with an attitude who was off and all I wanted was to place an order for collection. So I am disappointed that there is nobody to help me telephonically, instead I have to stop what I'm doing and go wait for my food at their restaurant.

It’s an okay spot overall — definitely gives more tarven vibes than a typical bar.What I really appreciate is the chilled atmosphere. You can have your drink in peace without anyone bothering you. Sometimes, that’s exactly what you need. Not fancy, but it gets the job done.

We used to be regulars at this bar. Last Saturday we were escorted out by security for playing pool with a rowdy crowd. Me and my partner kept to ourselves and played pool. After contacting management, all we were told was that it was a misunderstanding on our part, while it was clearly not. I would avoid this bar as they clearly take no responsibility for how their clients are treated.

A typical pub, with a typical pub vibe, nothing extravagant, the way i like it, we did not eat anything though.

Great local bar where you feel like family. Bar service is always great. Unfortunately, the waitresses are always unfriendly and uninterested. Had to request that the tomato sauce bottles be refilled and serviettes be provided more than once.

Thought it would be a great place but after the continuous disrespect and awful behaviour of the family/friends we experienced, I will never recommend this place at all. You should not only be respectful in business but in private life as well.

Good service, food could be better. Had a sandwich, but bread was hard, even for toast. No music played whilst we were there, so that could change the vibe. Nice local pub to grab a quick bite.

Chicken schnitzel Thursdays used to be the best. While anyone can understand rising costs. Imagine the disappointment of referring your friends there for the amazing food and to again take guests there and be super disappointed. Portions shrunk to a quarter of what it was and an hour and 20 minutes for 4x chicken schnitzels. Dry and unsatisfactory and yes. I did bring it under their attention and noted that I would update my previous review. Service was still friendly though.

The beer is cold and the staff advises you on specials. User friendly entrances(All accessible) . Parking is good. Music is great. Many pool tables for you and your mates. Slots are also available for that little bit of luck that you'll be feeling.

This place is absolutely breathtaking, but I wouldn't praise it on the vibe. Not in the day, at least. The meat i had was soft but a little too salty, and the cocktails were okay. I'll definitely give it a try at night. The view is stunning, and there are different seating spots. The service was okay and the staff was friendly.

We came with high expectations and it really pays off with a great setting, lovely rooftop view of Pretoria East, and professional service. The food looks top class, well prepared and excellently presented. It did however lack in taste. By no means bad or average, but with their great ambience and at this price point, one hopes to be blown away by flavour and unfortunately, we weren't quite.

We arrived when a shift change happens , apparently between the breakfast and lunch team so we had to wait an hour before we could even place an order , I was starving hoping to have brunch around 11am We orderd drinks while we waited for 12pm , the order went a little awry When noon struck we orderd our food, one bar of energy left and a rather salty plate of Squid with sauce arrived I was too hungry to even take a pic or complain about the saltiness , I ate for sustenance and hurriedly exited The virgin coctail was not bad at all

The location, venue and view is absolutely spectacular. The service is super brilliant, but the menu and presentation of food does not do the restaurant any justice. It needs to be spectacular and unique like the view. Fine dining is required. White table clothes, plated meals with finesse to compliment the experience. The food is average and looks common presented on wooden chop boards. Nothing to write home about. People complementing the food are not used to any better. Cocktails were fabulous!

We had an amazing time at 16th by Koi for my birthday lunch! The food was top quality, the ambiance was elegant yet relaxed, and the music set the perfect tone. The live saxophonist, Brendan, was a highlight so talented and attentive to the vibe, catering to all kinds of music tastes. Highly recommend.

What a joke of a restaurant/beer house. Staff that cant even take an order right. When they take the order come back 15 minutes later to tell you they dont sell that anymore. When asked for a marker and the menu's too 86 it the manager comes and says NO.... because they are only out of stock. Yet they can not train the staff. Then you find something else R55 bacon cherry sticks. What a joke OMG microwave bacon blaned cherry's. Dont waste your time you will regret every second of it even friends I took out they had a buger and schnitzel said it was dry and bland. Save yourself the disappointment!!!

Great beer selection but right next to the casino floor. Fine if you are gambling less interesting if you are looking for a pub
