Lovely restaurant. The atmosphere is great, the view of the gold course from the outside dinning area is peaceful and calming. The 5 course meal was rather good and affordable. Totally loved the calming and relaxing music they played throughout. A place of elegance.

Decided to give the restaurant a chance after a few people raved about the food and experience. We booked for a dinner for our year end function. This was all of our first time visiting the restaurant. Overall, incredibly over rated. Definitely not a fine dining experience. HIDEOUSLY expensive. TERRIBLE, slow service. Staff need proper etiquette and food and wine training if you would like to continue to hold this name of the restaurant. Compliments to the chef as he was the only one with enthusiasm. For the rest... thanks, but no thanks. First and last time that I'll be dining here. As this establishment holds its self to a " 5 star-fine dining" name you would expect the experience from start 'till end to be just that. There was no body to greet us at the front of house. We were confused as to where the restaurant was and walked around aimlessly to get our bearings. The decor on the tables were old. There was no table cloth (as one would expect for fine dining). No napkin or serviettes. No salt and pepper. Each of our table settings were different. Cutlery not the same, dirty knives, and chipped steak knives. The manager suggested we try the 5-course menu and recommended we did the wine pairing too. The food was nice, however it didn't make up for the service which was absolutely SHOCKING! Waitress was incredibly slow and very disinterested in her job- not to mention how un neat her appearance was. No knowledge about the food and wine pairing. The wine came out later then the food and we didn't even know what we were drinking half of the time. For an extra R225 to do the wine pairing above the food price, one would expect a full glass of wine and someone to know what exactly was being paired. The glasses were filled with 3 sips maximum. House brand to add- this is ridiculous. I had to ask for cutlery on 2 different occasions. We saw one waitress the entire night who just stood around blankly with no regard for the customers. She walked past us a few times. No body came to check on us as it took over 40 minutes to clear our plates. This is totally unacceptable. The waitress "forgot" about our desserts and after mentioning it after having to get up to go find her at the end of the evening we were addressed with attitude and after asking for the manager we were met with "the manager is not here." All this ruined the entire night. My recommendation is to skip this restaurant all together. Not worth the time or money.

Food was impeccable. Service from our waiter was flawless. Great selection of wine and spirits on the menu. We had a fantastic time. The owner was attentive. Just one request to wipe the tables and menus more frequently as our table and menu was dirty upon arrival. Also dirty wine glasses on the table.

The restaurant is truly a fun fine dining experience! Even though they were a bit late with our food order every second of waiting was worth it. The view is perfect for a romantic evening or a meal after a tough day of gholf. Friendly staff and wonderful menu selections make this restaurant what it is; a success worth trying once.

The restaurant (upstairs of course) is fine dining with gorgeous views and excellent food, good wine selection and craft beer, fireplace very cosy for those cold evening dinning. The restaurant is in desperate need of attention, the old charm is getting lost to the ageing building secondly the seating could be better, they are not comfortable for a fine dinner, they should introduce some sofas for inside dinning, chairs are fine for the outside.

Some of the best burgers in Pretoria and plenty of options to choose from. The place is quiet, exclusive and kid friendly. However, our orders took way longer than usual and one of them got mixed up considering that there were very few people at that time.

Very impressed with the restaurant. Comfortable setting. We had the five course menu and every dish ranged from very good to excellent. Food was very tasty and very well presented. Wine list is decent. Waiting staff were a bit absent but other than this a very pleasant experience and the food is very impressive.

Great market in Pretoria, wonderful vendors like Spout and The Veggie Brothers where you can enjoy a coffee and pastry or stock up on your produce for the week. Lots of local food options if you're hungry! The sun might be annoying, so don't forget your SPF and a hat as you walk around, there is plenty of shaded seating though and parking is easy with helpful car guards.

First time visiting and loved the variety and foods. Bought all sorts of useful stuff and tried as many different tastes as possible before I nearly burst! It was busy, so parking was a challenge, but people are in and out regularly so just requires some patience. Some stalls sold out quickly so don't wait til later, get it when you see it! Will definitely be back for more!

Thai embassy hosted a Thai food festival. Food was absolutely delicious. Many different Thai dishes were available. The market has great food and a lot of amazing handmade craft items available. Park is spacious and a great atmosphere. Foodies paradise.

Love going here every Saturday morning for our weekly food shopping. Go get some Taco's at Hola Honduras, spoil yourself you deserve it!

If you have been a regular supporter of the Hazel Food Market then you might agree that it's not like it use to be. It's still a great Saturday morning outing with the family including the fur family members are also welcome. Food stalls are the main attraction, although there's a wide variety of different products and craft stalls in between. The layout is what puts me off. There is ample security watched parking available. Not wheelchair friendly. Highly recommend visiting them next time you are in the area.

I had an absolutely incredible experience. The service was excellent from start to finish. Our waiter, Tumisang was professional, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The manager Jo-Anne was also fantastic- so helpful and welcoming, always with a smile and ready to assist. Customer service is a real priority here. Tashas Brooklyn has become a second home. The ambience, the service, the staff. Loui, the manager is a wonderful host, very attentive. The food? Worth every dime. Great for dinners and after church Brunch!

A lovely restaurant, the staff is friendly the service is good, I was helped by Tumi who was lovely! I had a meal from their signature menu and it was tasty. Met the manager Louis and he made sure I was comfortable and happy. Would definitely recommend.

I was so happy to find Afro-Boer. It is a gem in Pretoria. The slow farm concept, food options and unique twists to each item makes the experience so delightful. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the menu. The peach syrup was so delicious.

It's such a lovely place to go to with friends or even by one's self. They have chickens that walk in between the tables and the option of outside or inside seating. The array of cakes and baked goodies is amazing. I would definitely go again.

Great experience! I had French toast with GLUTEN FREE bread, and it was amazing! I also had their banting (gluten-free)cheesecake! Service was a little slow at times, but the food and relaxing garden atmosphere was absolutely perfect!

Had a lovely bruch, all alone with my 4 legged friend 🐕 Outside seating for pet owners. The cheese cake 🎂 🥮 was to die for, my omelet was a bit on the small side, I suggest a very small salad or slices of tomato. Doggy menu available 😀. Can't complain about the service because there was none. I think in the 2 and a half hours we were there we saw our waiter 3 times. When we finally got our food it was ice cold. My mom had the biltong and brie omelet but it was very small compared to the client behind us. The biltong was hard and the omelet cold. My fianceé and I had the Van braaibroodjie. The chips was delicious as well as the beef filling but everything was cold and the bread was hard. We won't be back.

One of the most delightful places to simply exist as a human being. For those who desire an authentic and down-to-earth Afrikaans experience Afro boer is the place. The delectable cuisine, lively atmosphere, Professional waitress (Grace) absolutely phenomenal. AB offers a refreshing respite from the pretentious and exclusive establishments that we often frequent. I love their merchandise, and I appreciate the occasional opportunity to embrace an uncomplicated existence.

This has been the best dinner experience I have ever had in South Africa. The food was impeccable (they also catered for our specific dietary preferences), the atmosphere was perfect and our waiter (Wilson) was better than the best. I highly recommend this resturant! Gem of a place, spacious outdoors with massive play setup for kiddies. Good platters and pizza setup, definitely a place I would recommend when you want a family experience that is more refined than the normal kids friendly restaurant franchises, more space and less crowded.

This Bistro has got a proper makeover since the last time I was there. The style and vibe is still very much a bistro with a look and feel of an 1800's pub in the UK/Germany with a modern flair. I had a simple breakfast of ciabatta with basil pesto, scrambled eggs and mozzarella cheese. The basil pesto was lacking in quantity and punch and the mozzarella was minimal, but it was still good. The cappuccino was fantastic though! One of the best cups of coffee I've had in ages! The outdoor play area and seating looks like it will be fantastic on a nice sunny day. I'm looking forward to being back soon.

The restaurant is perfect for family with a good play area for the kids. The food was presentable, the fried rice attempt wouldn't score any high point but the steak would. Management must also find a way to deal with the flies issue, its quite irritating

Having such a good time at Relish Bistro, friendly service that goes the extra mile. Fresh hot coffee is a real life saver and you are sure to get that and more when you visit here. The decor is very stylish and there are power points available for the tech junkie to recharge the device whilst enjoying high quality food. Close to main roads and Gautrain station means that this restaurant is easily accessible for any commuter. You should come here.

It was our first diner date together, we got the best experience. We arrived there around to 7pm got a table outside with a nice candle set up. An we met one of the best waiters ever (2PA) Thupaetsile, He was super friendly made sure we got all we needed, made sure we knew where the toilets are, filled up our chilli sauce to the brim and even made sure they already had our dessert ready for take away ;).

1st visit to Relish, Hatfield. Beautiful setting with lush gardens and even a play area for kids. Friendly and welcoming staff. Drinks order took way too long. Fish and chips on special was tasty. Ordered cappucino with froth, instead got cream. Big negative was that I ordered 2 single J&B and got charged doubles (R100 for 2, which was advertised, but not ordered) and as my husband paid the bill, I only noticed it when we returned home.

Wood & Fire is an absolutely amazing restaurant. The food was incredible. The steak was tasty, as were all the sides. The white chocolate cheesecake was definitely a highlight. It is one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had and I wish I lived in Pretoria just for that cheesecake (maybe it's a good thing I don't, 'cause I'd probably be there every weekend). The service was impeccable. I felt so warm and welcome. We were really taken such good care of. It is a bit on the pricey side, but it is definitely worth it. What an amazing experience. Enjoyed a late morning/early afternoon brunch. Had a lamb curry and it was amazing. Would I recommend this place? YES I would. Friendly and attentive staff to amazing food. Quiet afternoon on a Wednesday so I can just imagine the atmosphere during busy times. If you like seas food then this is the place for you. But not only do they serve seafood. They have an array of different food to choose from.

A quaint, humble cafe that serves good quality food for the price. Casual indoor and roadside outdoor seating. Our waiter was friendly. Service was a bit slow so expect a bit of a wait but worth it! Many savoury options and a baked goods counter. Coffee was great. Available parking on the roadside. We had the croissant with cheese and scrambled egg, French toast and Egg benedict.

A homely cafe crowded with locals. The seats were relatively small, but there were many seats, and it was crowded when I went. We were carrying a baby, but the all clerks were very kind to us.

The BEST toasted sarmie, I have ever had! Bread toasted just enough to be crispy, right amount of cheese and tamato. Lightly seasoned with salt and pepper! I was so happy about that, because not all the places put salt and pepper. And you can't season a sarmie after its been toasted. Just the right amount of mayonaise, no funny business of extra sauce on your chin or dripping on your lap! This really was a wonderful place. Waiters and Managers greeting regulars with a fist pump and some even with a hug! I will definitley be back!

Best egg Benedict in PTA. Lovely service. Good coffee. Parking and all that in a quiet suburb with street lined with jacaranda. So refreshing that it is not a chain but a place with its own identity and style.

I've had an absolute amazing time at Goddess Cafe Waterkloof. I had to plan a surprise bridal shower for my friend and the planner @Lindah you are an absolute gem! Unbelievably helpful and I know I asked stupid questions or might have been a bit of a needy client but I appreciate you so much for the effort put into planning this event for me. It was absolutely beautiful. During the event the service was perfect and and you were very attentive. @Catherine please keep doing the work you do it's awesome honestly, thank you so much for everything you did for us during our time at your venue/table. P.S. the photos of the food is from the Event Option 1 on Goddess Cafe 2025 Party Brochure. And I ordered 3 juices (alcoholic) and 1 (non-alcoholic) from the Add-ons menu. But you can just ask your planner for clarification on the juices if you need it or pretty much anything really. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

I have been nagging my best friend to take me here after seeing her photos at this place. It's even more amazing in person! Our waitress, Ross, a star!!! Nice cafe for small private events like birthdays, baby showers and any other ladies events. Decor is beautiful, all cream and pink. Snacks and cocktails are nice.

The food deserves the five star rating. Tastes better than it looks. Service from the wait staff could use some improvement, there's just no co-ordination there and some can't communicate in non-English languages. We came for the rugby game and the atmosphere was good. Would I dine in again? Probably not. I'd definitely buy food to takeaway though. Average spend is R300 pp

Let's talk about this amazing food here. I recently dined at Turn n Tender in Loftus Park and it was one of the best dining experiences . I ordered the steak and ribs and it was absolutely incredible. The meat was cooked to perfection, juicy and full of flavor. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and the steak was cooked exactly the way I had requested. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness in my mouth. The exceptional service is noticable . The staff were friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was beyond expectations. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. The beer was cold and refreshing, the perfect accompaniment to my meal. The combination of incredible food, calm atmosphere, exceptional service and cold beer make it a must-visit for any steak and ribs lover. Was at Loftus restaurant for my son's dinner. The waiters never welcomed us but they were standing at the entrance. We had to find our own table. The ladies waiters were standing at the entrance gossiping about white people as they were coming and going. The service was bad I don't recommend for family. We spend 30mins waiting for a bill because our waiter was on a lunch break. Pathetic to ladies waiters for charging me as a black woman.

Now these are my people! I've been coming here for over 2 years and the service has always been brilliant. The food is amazing, the staff friendly. And they always run amazing specials! This evening, I ordered their Sirloin special. It was the perfect medium steak, the chips soft inside with the right crisp on the outside. Try them sometime...

I recently dined at Pepper Tree Restaurant and had a generally pleasant experience. The atmosphere was lovely, with neat and clean tables and well-presented staff, creating a welcoming setting. For dinner, I ordered the schnitzel, which I wouldn’t recommend. It was a half portion, and the sauce was an extra charge, making it feel overpriced for both the portion size and overall flavor. My boyfriend had the ribeye, which he found decent but not particularly memorable. However, my family raved about the fillet with wine basting, describing it as tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. A nice touch was the manager checking in with us and offering complimentary flatbread, which was fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, towards the end of the evening, the service slowed down, and our waiter became a bit inattentive. The real highlight of the meal was dessert. The chocolate lava pudding was incredibly creamy and smooth—absolutely delicious, though the portion was a bit too small to share. A thoughtful gesture was the complimentary dessert they brought for our birthday guest, which was a lovely touch. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, with a great ambiance and standout desserts. While some of the main courses felt underwhelming for the price, the fillet seems to be the star dish. Service was warm but could be more consistent throughout the evening.

This was one of the best experiences I had to dine out for a special evening with my wife. The table set-up right at the door to experience the cool summer breeze, the view of the swimming pool at the back groundl, the soft non-disturbing music in the background. Sitting close to bar, I was not even aware of the waiters who talked soft and non disturbing. This is a new for me at any restaurant where the workers at the bar tend to be loud and disturbing. The service by Sina our Waitress was impeccable was fast and friendly service . My rib-eye steak was delivered as ordered and super tasty. The lamb shank is cooked fall off the bone soft and tasty. We were surprised with a super free dessert and coffees on the house for our anniversary. Thank you Peppertree. Within 2 km from my house, we will definitely visit you again.

If you prefer Sunday dining with a "top of the hill view" rather than a "parking lot in the mall view," head to the Pepper Tree Restaurant outside Pretoria. Here, you'll find a place where middle-class day-trippers mingle without immediately triggering bourgeois panic. You're personally greeted by the chef before you buzz the waiter at the volume of airplane noise. A little more discretion regarding the volume is recommended here. The food was formidable and shows that Americanized spaghetti carbonara works well in the middle of Africa. The salad was delicious. And everyone was very happy about the kids' and dessert menu, too. The walls are decorated with art that doesn't scream, but speaks, the fireplace crackles like something out of a furniture catalog, and the restrooms are as clean as the rest. Our second visit here and certainly not the last. If you're looking for peace, class, and a bit of self-promotion, this is the place for you.

Peppertree has an amazing atmosphere, but food quality is clearly lacking. The cream on the Hazelnut latte was sour, the Moroccan Pizza’s dough was raw, photo attached. To their credit they did replace the latte, it took a bit but I will rather wait for something that is freshly made. We did not make a scene about the pizza as we did not want to wait another 40+ minutes for the pizza to be replaced or cooked through properly. I would think that the food is checked before it is sent to the customer. TLDR: Great Atmosphere, Poor food quality.

Enjoyed a very special Mother's Day lunch. Excellent food and service. Our new favorite restaurant in PTA!

Went for lunch today. We had high expectations. The restaurant is beautiful. The service sucked. The waiter took extremely long with assisting us. She made us feel like she was doing us a big favor. The food was cold. I had halloumi as a starter and because she took so long to bring it out it tasted like rubber. My sandwich was also cold and the melted cheese was hard and cold. The food came out randomly and she was just nowhere. We were 5 adults this quick lunch cost R2000.00 I can’t really say it was worth it. I think if the food came out as soon as it was ready and her attitude was better, maybe O could justify it… (also it wasn’t even busy) sorry no.

Join their email and get daily Monday to Friday menu mailed to you. You then email your order and they reply, you can collect order or eat in a lovely outside area. Their meals are quality and tasty and very good value for money. Coffee and hot chocolate superb. Cakes and quiches are delicious but need to be ordered. Their croissants, muffins and pastries are delightful. Their rye bread is great. You won't find better value anywhere. They serve lunch till about 14h00.

Amazing food and really fast service. We arrived and ordered and had our food ready within 10min. The food is really well priced and absolutely delicious. Definitely will eat here more often. Muffins on display look amazing too and will be my next purchase. Definitely recommended

Ordered a Sachertorte which they made specially. They went above and beyond. And the cake was great. Will definitely be going back to try their other foods.

Best tasting cakes ever at an affordable price, the Mocha,chocolate ganache, red velvet and carrot cakes are my favorite. I have been buying their cakes for the past 2 years and I will keep coming back..

Cafe Mozart is located in Corporate Park South Business Park just off the Old Johannesburg Road in Midrand. They sell awesome treats and offer great lunch specials. They are very busy during lunch time, so call and place an order and collect. Its also a great place to relax and break away from the office.

Looked better than I expected. Tasted good with four layers of vanilla cake. Will go back R450. Not the most friendly counter staff😑

As a regular and local resident, I have never seen the staff more unhappy. The food is still excellent as always, but I just cannot feel the love anymore. Something's up.

We celebrated my mom’s birthday at Filos Kitchen Coffee Bar Deli on Saturday, and I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the team was incredibly welcoming, allowing us to set up the table exactly as we wanted and being so adaptable with all our plans. The atmosphere was warm and festive, and the food was absolutely delicious—every dish was a hit with our guests. A special shout-out to the manager, who was fantastic throughout the evening—checking in regularly to make sure everything was perfect and going out of their way to accommodate us. To top it off, we had the amazing experience of breaking plates after dinner in true Greek tradition. Thank you to everyone at Filos for making my mom’s birthday unforgettable. Incredible service, fantastic food, and an unbeatable vibe—definitely 100 out of 10! We’ll be back soon.

It was a lovely evening as there were some customers that played the guitar and sang.. Food was really good although I missed my favorite dish giros. But there was enough other nice dishes to choose from .

First time visit. Loved it! Great food, alot of out door seating, big lawn for kids to play and our waiter Vincent was very friendly and helpful when we wanted to move tables. Bought some Baklava at the deli, tastes amazing! Unless I didn't look properly, some advertising boards are needed outside to show where entrance is. Will definitely visit again 🤗

It's a nice setting. Outside as well as inside are pet friendly. Both waiters were friendly. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Food prices are reasonable. Will definitely visit again.

Had an early dinner here. Drinks were well priced and their cocktail specials are quite good! The food, from the oizza to the cheese steaks were also great value. Just a note- park inside.

Great spot for casual alfresco brunch/lunch. Nice wines for the price. We had a margarita pizza, salad with chicken & avocado, & burger. All were very good.

This is a very nice spot for breakfast. I came here after 1 and ordered an open sandwich, I didn't enjoy it so much, the bread was too hard but not really toast, the beef/fillet was also a bit chewy. I really enjoyed the Jalapeño. Different and to die for, I wish I had ordered more. The cocktail are very limited. Their menu is fairly priced. I'm definitely coming back for breakfast, I feel like the breakfast menu is nicer. The staff are very friendly and thoughtful.

I only started coming to Pure this year, after a friend recommended it. The food is absolutely amazing, I love the wraps. The coffee, chai and white chocolate freezo are my favorite drinks. The women who help me at the counter are so warm and friendly. Prices are much better than other spots on campus. The service is also very quick. Today, I bought some Valentine's Cupcakes for my family, and I must say, they are amazingg! I don't know what icing was used, but it was so good. Your brownies too are amazing! This is my new go to place from now on❤️ Thank you Pure Team

I have often been to this restaurant and it never fails to satisfy. My favourites are the salads, the milkshakes, and the spring rolls. The hamburgers are also nice, although I found the chips to be on the soggy side. In my experience, the service has always been very nice, friendly, and competent. I will be back!

One of few working spaces on campus and service is okay, although they seem do not know how to deal with patrons other than students. My omelette was actually good. Coffee was unfortunately bland and overpriced. Biggest disappointment was my (very) sad take away paninis for R67 each. Truly inedible.

Pure Cafe is a great place to have lunch at the university. I've eaten there three times now, and will be back often. The food is inventive, well presented, and the quality of the ingredients is excellent. The Hokey Pokey salad is a favourite, but everything else I have tried so far was somewhere between good and great. Some recent reviews complained about the service - I have no idea why. Everyone I dealt with has been friendly and professional.

Really enjoy coming to Pure to meet up with friends. Definitely a elevated version of campus dining. Various options available so everyone will be able to find something they like. The waiting time is also not long so you are able to come for a quick meal. My favourite remains the pasta pronto as it is a generous portion and very delicious 😋

This place is lovely, chilled out, and really fun to be at. If you're around the University of Pretoria's Hatfield campus and really need a refreshing place where you can grab a snack at the same time, this is an ideal place for you

Went with friends, food was average, but the service was great. Had the steamed buns - they have a unique menu! Would like to try it again.

Lackluster. Trying too hard to be great. Service is horrible and waiters dont really know what theyre supose to do. Food takes forever. Drinks even longer. Bacon constists of cubes of fat. Food bland and falls apart in your hand. We still have our empty cups on our table.

Salt has a novel menu and concept. Everything we tried was fantastic. Loved the haggis (and I know my haggis), the parmesan and truffle fries were spectacular, service was great (though not intrusive). Vegetarian friendly believe it or not (though perhaps not vegan). Wine is very reasonably priced. Would absolutely go back.

Had a burger and didn't like the beef patty. Too much binding ingredients in the patty made it taste rubbery. The other food was great and we loved the vibe. Would I go again? Yes but I'll try something else.

Great food. Everything I had on my "chalkboard" — most of which was recommended by the waiter — was delicious. My wife enjoyed the snoek tacos. And our desserts were quirky combinations that produced eye-opening and mouth-watering results.

Great location and yummy food at good prices. Had a pork belly steamed bun and the parmisan potato chips with truffle oil. Ordered a cocktail and when the bill came saw that my friend and I who ordered cocktails were charged for a double shots which we didn't ask for on order. Perhaps it's just a good idea to specify this. Burgers are huge. Also had the snoek taco starters which was good.

It's more like 3.5 stars. The place itself and the atmosphere are quite dull/boring. The food is actually very good although the portions are quite small. A couple of minor gripes: no large bottles of sparkling water and no decaf coffee.

I’m extremely disappointed with how the staff is being treated here. It’s evident that the management lacks respect for their employees, who seem overworked, undervalued, and constantly stressed. The atmosphere reflects the negative way the team is handled, and it’s disheartening to witness. Happy employees lead to better service, but that’s definitely not the case here. The high turnover and clear dissatisfaction of the staff make for a poor experience overall. If management doesn’t make serious changes, this place will continue to decline. I would not recommend supporting a business that mistreats its hardworking team.

The staff is not pleasant at all. Inexperienced, unprofessional, i was moved around multiple times like a crazy person. Will be sure to share about with other influencers thats for sure. No body deserves to be treated like this ! I will not be coming back here! Nor do i recommend it to wn

The service here is extremely poor, and both the staff and managers are incredibly rude. I strongly recommend staying away from this place. I walked in while the doors were open, and many people were already seated at tables. It turned out they weren’t officially open yet, but were supposed to be in about 15 minutes. When I politely asked if I could look at the menu while I waited, the man abruptly told me to leave. His tone was hostile, and the entire staff seemed annoyed, as if they didn’t want to be there at all. To make matters worse, as a white person, I felt judged and racially profiled throughout the interaction. It was an uncomfortable and shocking experience.

Unacceptable Staff Treatment Avoid this restaurant until they change their exploitative staff policy. Our waitress revealed that she's paid solely on tips, with no basic salary. This is unacceptable and unfair to the hardworking staff. I won't be returning until they provide a living wage for their employees.

Ordered 8 prawns, only got served 4 was told the menu has an “error” after I enquired. Even the 4 that I was served was not full prawns. After raising it with the manager on the floor, I got given 2 more which were basically just the heads. Highly disappointed and would never recommend. Did I mention that there was huge cockroaches? Poor service.

You may eat nice food in this restaurant but they are mistreating their employees. How do you even employ someone with a word of mouth ( in 2024? Really? ) I’m disappointed. I will never eat here again until they comply to labour relations Act .

I am not here to make a negative review or to side with anyone but to make a statment from a neutral pov. This is my negative reviews account although im am not reviewing as stated above. Please note that a review of a business is not to be a biased attack on a business but rather your experience of service within the establishment. The exploitation of the employees is not right although the low emotional intelligence and lack of control from many is not right either. The department of labor has been involved so a review based on the videos we have seen of employees complaints is irrelevant here.. There is a right way and a wrong way and i believe all those taking the wrong way should be punished aswell.

A lovely brunch catch up with a friend for women's day. The restuarant is fairly small so it was quite noisy inside but it's a popular place and that's to be expected. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was tasty but for the price the portions were underwhelming. I got the granola bowl and my friend got the pumpkin flapjacks. Lots of options though especially when it comes to nourishing, wholesome food as well as different drinks.

La Coco C is such a great spot for a good healthy breakfast. They have a great selection of healthy and delicious meals and great tasting coffee. I tried the pumpkin flapjacks with a matcha over ice. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff were great. A shout out to Athi for keeping us entertained and well taken care off!!! I will definitely be visiting again to try out new options.

Worked remotely for the day from the La Coco coffee shop, the wifi was stable and fast, so no issues there at all. Concerning the food, it was top notch. Had a chicken wrap and chicken&Mayo sandwitch, will definitly recomend. The sour dough bread was soft on the shell, no need to fight the bread or chew your jaws into a spasm. The shop was a little bit noisy at times, but no trainsmash at all. The staff was very friendly though and it was good to do some shopping on the side as well!

We were there on the 24th of May. And the lady who helped us behind the counter was absolutely amazing! I wish had her name but she deserves a raise for sure! She did us a few huge favours with our take-away order and she is the reason why we will continue to go back and support this restaurant! Amazing service and delicious sweet treats!! Very vibey sports pub in Clubview. It's a new pub with an ancient background. The food at the center is varied, including Indian, Chinese, pizza and burgers. Under new management as well.

Friendly service, great place to hang out with friends and play pool and watch sports. Great specials. Wide variety of take aways next door.
