Bali Bowls is a popular spot in Biarritz, founded by a local who grew up in the stylish French surfer town. The cafe offers a variety of smoothies and fruit bowls, perfect for snacking at the beach. Visitors can enjoy healthy options like Acai Bowls and smoothies, as well as treats like charcoal bliss balls and vegan banana bread. The staff is known for their friendliness and willingness to create custom smoothies.
Second time coming here and never got disappointed. One of the best available bowls I’ve had in this area with lots of toppings. The banana bread is really good as well, and the vegan hot dog was a 10/10 - enjoyed all the food and def need to come back to try their other dishes as well. Love that almost everything is vegan, big plus!! Not easy to find in this area of France. They are also pet friendly, so we could bring our dog :)
Jacqueline Z — Google review
Super delicious bowls and banana bread, as well as great coffee. The place is lovely, and the staff was very friendly. Happy to come again!
Michael J — Google review
I had the poke bowl which was stunning, and one of the best oat flat whites I've had in France so far. Small and cute, the staff were very friendly, the place is very quaint. 5 minutes walk from the beach. Dog friendly and the cookies were to die for! Thank you
Emma M — Google review
The place and the presentation of the food was great, but the taste wasn’t there. We ordered the Poke Bowls. They were out of tofu which was ok because we got some pea protein instead. But, the bowls were mostly just rice. Very little of the things you actually want. And the avocado was brown and tasted disgusting. Didn’t understand why they served that to us. More of the good stuff + good avocado and it would have been a 5-star from me.
Theodor Z — Google review
Delicious acai bowl but disappointing they were out of peanut butter and almond milk. It seems a common problem based on other reviews. Service was exceptional though and I did enjoy what I had!
Sally — Google review
Go-to place for açaí bowls in Biarritz, the açaí never disappointed. Staff is friendly and atmosphere is relaxed. The portions are well sized. I especially like the fresh fruits they choose for toppings plus the cappuccino taste + design.
Katharina S — Google review
Cozy family owned spot with a good vibe. Tasty vegan food like açai bowls, poke bowls, coffees, etc.
Alexander D — Google review
Best smoothies in Biarritz. We also got the charcoal bliss balls and tried their vegan banana bread. We came back many time over the course of our trip. The staff are friendly, can speak English and we're even open to making a bespoke smoothie for us. I highly recommend this place. Chill vibes and friendly staff. Love it.

The café is praised for its cozy yet funky ambiance where patrons can savor a variety of coffees, pastries, cookies, and cupcakes or opt for a light lunch. Visitors also appreciate the hearty breakfast options such as pancakes and sandwiches.
Cool place. Got a special of the day, bruschetta with pesto, buratta and figs - enjoy that a lot! Nice vibe and friendly staff. Pretty large space but feels coziness and makes you feel like staying for a bit longer. Worth your visit!
Aga F — Google review
Service was great and quick. A bit pricey but that's expected in a touristic area. The highlight of our lunch was the Grilled Cheese with Gaspacho (French spelling), which was essentially a Pancake sandwich with ham and cheese, and the gaspacho was made with the local pepper (Piment d'Espelette) which gave it a unique, spectacular flavor with just a bit of a kick. They seem to rotate the menu quite often, so hopefully they will still have throughout this summer, if anybody is interested. The carrot, orange and lemon juice was also pretty good.
Sergio H — Google review
the kitchen opens at 9:30, i came in at around that time and got seated immediately. very fast and friendly service. the salad on the side had a very tasty vinegar dressing, scrambled eggs and the truite were excellent too. a generous amount of cream cheese. the toast was not very fresh but i personally didn’t mind it. great choice of alternative milk. the cappuccino was not extraordinary though i still enjoyed it
Alena E — Google review
We had to wait about 5 mins for a table but it was worth it. We had brunch and the food, fruit & veg juices and coffee were all delicious. We shared a raspberry tart and it was yummy. I would definitely come here again. The staff were also friendly.

The Vietnamese noodles were YUM.. 🇻🇳 Absolutely lovely stuff with a wide range of health brunch & food options, great portion sizes and in a nice outside (and inside if you fancy) environment. 🥒🥬🫑🍅 mid level price wise but would say it is worth it!

Coffee was delicious the cookie terrible. I don’t know how they looked so good on the counter and tasted so terrible. It was like the dough was a bit raw, but not delicious like raw cookie dough, it had a grainy not so nice texture to it.

Walked into the counter for a fresh juice to go. Tons of options and delicious healthy drink!! Staff was amazing and it was super busy. Very friendly and the food and pastries all looked incredible.

Great beer, great music selection and decent snacks. Went here both nights we were in Biarritz and will miss it!

Very good Biarritz bar with 20 craft beers on tap and another 100 available in bottles. Television screens show sport and there are pool/billiard tables available.

Great place for beer lovers in Biarritz. 20 beers from the tap, good service. Great owners who will help you to choose the perfect beer. 👍🍻

Great little place, had a couple of beers and some smoked sausage as a snack (cheaper during happy hour). Good selection of beers, with a nice variety.

Big tapas freshly cooked. Good house red at 20euro per bottle. Nice introduction to biarritz on first night

This bar would be perfect, if they showed the footie, rather than the rugby, on a saturday, but nothing is perfect. Lovely friendly staff, 15 types of beer, music, food and a fantastic location! La Tireuse is what Biarritz used to be, before it became too greedy, too rich!

(Translated by Google) I'd been enjoying my time at this café for three days, but my last visit unfortunately spoiled that good impression. This afternoon, a staff member—a petite, dark-haired woman with light eyes—was particularly rude. While I'd ordered, as I had in previous days, an iced matcha, she brought me a hot one. When I pointed out the mistake, she curtly replied that they didn't make iced matcha... which was strange, since I'd actually had it here the previous two days. She finally gave me another pour, but this time in a half-filled glass, with numerous lumps, and unceremoniously placed on the edge of the counter. This lack of consideration and professionalism is regrettable. A minimum of courtesy and respect toward customers would make all the difference.

We ordered Tuna steak and cod fish for dinner and gateau basque with ice cream for dessert. All were very good. Service was quite fast.

We had a great lunch experience at Le Café du Commerce in Biarritz. The place was very busy when we arrived — we had to wait around 30 minutes for a table, but we didn’t mind at all since we really wanted to try it. The food was tasty and well-prepared, and the overall atmosphere was lively and authentic. The waitresses were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a very good experience and we’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in Biarritz!

My wife & I had a wonderful meal here sept 2025. We had the beef rib for 2. Wow it was cooked to perfection the meat was melt in the mouth delicious. We had the pleasure of being served by Edouard & Tom who both looked after us, serving us drinks until late. Thanks very much you guys we had a brilliant night.

Good cafe in main cafe strip area over from the markets. Service quick and friendly. Quick to resolve a small problem which was appreciated. Lovely staff
David B — Google review
Mixed experiences. We were here twice. Once for an afternoon nibble and drinks. The mixed meat/cheese board was perfect. The unusual cocktails I had were great too. Service good. Then one night we went for dinner. The menu was not grabbing me, so I went for the risotto special. It was ok. Not impressed that the waste vein was not removed from the prawns, when the WERE peeled. Difficult to do it yourself in the dish it was served in. If you eat it, it's sandy, dirty and not nice. Is this standard protocol in Biarritz? The sauteed calamari were very good 😊 The staff were attentive and helpful.
Jana O — Google review
Great meal by the window overlooking the crowds watching the rugby opposite. Waiter was Alexanda. I had the devlied eggs, mango tuna tartar, croquette assortment and burrata with artisan tomatoes. Half a bottle of Sancerre from the Loire valley to wash it all down. Excellent service, perfect location. And the menus reads very well. A 10 from me.

Saline Ceviche Bar - Restaurant Biarritz is a popular dining spot located on 62 Rue Gambetta, 64200 Biarritz, France. With its unique concept and inviting ambiance, it's a must-visit for food enthusiasts. The restaurant offers a diverse menu with an emphasis on ceviche, providing guests with an opportunity to savor fresh and flavorful dishes.
Dedicated and competent staff, the food is a reflection of that. We absolutely love the pulled pork which reminds us of our traditional cuisine. The ceviche is also very refreshing
Antoine D — Google review
We had our first dinner in Biarritz in this restaurant, and picked it because it promised to serve the best Seviche. Service was impeccable - polite, fast, attentive. A disappointment for us personally was Seviche starters. First of all, they were too expensive (12-14€), second of all, the Peruvian Seviche lacked of taste. The main dish was tasty though, both fish and chicken, we especially liked rice with beans.
Julia — Google review
Absolutely amazing and worth every single word of praise! Very good quality, tasty and beautifully served!
Liudvika S — Google review
A, French take on Peruvian/ Hawaiianesque food. Great idea. Hence the reason for the visit. Peruvian food, lives of distinct flavors felt this, was too toned down for the local customers. Many French prefer that. Lacked spice and distinct flavors where it was needed. Enjoyed the 🐙 of the day. Service was a little clonky nontheless it deserves 3/5. A few smiles in between saved it 😊. Presentation was mixed. All in all ok with a, lot of room for improvement. The chocolate mousse presentation definitely needs more love. Re using your knifes and fork at 20+ euros à plate à little naughty... Exécution Felt extremely casual. Think this is what they aim for however then the food and presentation need to shine this was too casual. Menus have torn pages in some cases and service did not always follow up. Tried to order more drinks twice. Hope this improves as the potential is there.
Remco H — Google review
Great interieur, good choice of meals. Ceviche was really good, pulpo and fish was okay, but not outstanding (price / taste). Unfortunately service was quite poor - only 1-4 tables were occupied and still no one took care of our empty glasses etc.
Sonni — Google review
Terrific Ceviche, friendly service. Table on the street was a bit impacted by the traffic.
Chris B — Google review
Agree with another one of the reviews: the Peruvian ceviche was totally flavorless and felt like it was missing an ingredient. The Nikkei was very good. Overall not an essential stop for ceviche lovers, but not bad.

Haragia, which means "meat" in Basque, is a small restaurant located in Biarritz that offers a delightful selection of pinchos and grilled meats such as beef, pork, lamb, and duck. The menu features a variety of cuts including filet de boeuf, cassoulet, grilled sausages (chorizo), cotelette de veau, and travers de porc.
Favorite place we ate in Biarittz. Steak was incredible, perfectly seasoned and cooked, & the service was wonderful. I recommend reservations as it's a small restaurant, but we showed up at 21:15 and got a table at 22h. Panna cotta for dessert was also delicious. Merci!

Highly recommend if you are in Biarritz! Perfectly cooked steak, good selection of wine, friendly service. Place is small, so consider to reserve it in advance.
Anna — Google review
Being in Biarritz for holidays, we stumbled upon Haragia on Google Maps and was pleasantly surprised by this small hidden gem for true carnivores. The staff is incredibly friendly, the menu is efficient and straight to the point, all about high-quality meat. We started with the chorizo, followed by a perfectly cooked Côte de Galice, served with a refreshing salad and crisp homemade fries. Ended on a high note with a delicious lemon verrine for dessert. The wine list is excellent, offering great pairings. Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and fairly priced. Top-notch hospitality. Definitely recommend. PS : The restaurant is very tiny, they do two services so it’s better to book in advance. However, we walked in after 10pm and were immediately seated.
Toktam N — Google review
We live locally, and I don't know how we have missed out on this place for so long! The chef and server were great, and they really explained the different cuts of cote de boef they had to offer us. They were knowledgable about their wine list and set such a fun vibe in the little restaurant. The meat was perfectly cooked, the house fries were salty and crisp, and the salad was nice and fresh. The server heard me mention it was my husband's birthday and even put a little candle in our dessert, so thoughtful! Would recommend it to locals and travellers, especially if you want a local Pays Basque experience and great products.

The restaurant features abstract murals and bare-stone walls, creating a unique atmosphere for diners. Specializing in charcoal-grilled meat dishes, the menu includes options like matured steak, octopus, chipiron, and beef tartare. The setting combines rough stone walls with contemporary art to provide a friendly and inviting ambiance.
Ok this place is just so hearty ! We were given the large high table under the barrel in the back (private table) which was really comfortable set in a spectacular decor. The food was simple but well executed with mostly meat heavy menu. The key here is the service, only good people led by the owner who took personal care of our table ! We loved it and we will be back. Welcome to pays basque hospitality.

Best steak I’ve had in Europe! Great service and atmosphere and the steak was amazing!
Mark B — Google review
The food is delicious! BUT Dirty and sticky tables, I brought a small plate with crumbs, the waitress just reached into my plate with her finger and removed the crumbs of old food, the toilet is dirty and terrible (men's and women's toilets are together and in front of you a man is peeing next to you in the bidet, so-so spectacle)! For dinner we paid 98€ for 2 people, it seemed expensive for this place, unfortunately the service was so-so!

If you want a good steak and a good glass of Madiran for a good price. Come here. The food is totally correct. Their burger is pretty special. Prices are good. Atmosphere is convivial. Nice staff. Overall good vibe and a nice add to the area.
Daniel M — Google review
Service is pretty good and staffs are very friendly. However, the food is not good as I expected (4.6 scores). I have to say the grilled meals are below the average level of pub food in England, the steak is burned and the meat quality is just okay. BTW, it’s a little bit overpriced versus the food quality.
Jorvik Z — Google review
The food was very fresh, delicious and generous in serving. Excellent wines. The staff were great and a minor variation request was easily accommodated. The restaurant was packed by 8pm and had a great atmosphere. Would easily recommend!

Fantastic food and exceptional service. The ribs were absolutely delicious.

What a gem! Loved everything, superb fun service and variety menu. I am vegetarian and my husband loves meat and we both loved the food. I have never eaten anything like this romain lettuce grilled with pinuts and vinegarete. My husband said the steak melted in this mouth and wine was delicious. We didn't have a space for dessert but will be back for sure. Love it.

Le Royalty is a classic bistro that has been serving regional dishes and cocktails since 1929. The restaurant offers a polished dining experience with attentive staff and a nice atmosphere. While some visitors have found the food to be fantastic and the service very good, others have had an okay experience, noting that it's not award-winning but still enjoyable. The location is superb, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of food offered.
A lovely spot right in the heart of Biarritz! Le Royalty is the kind of brasserie that combines charm, good food, and a welcoming atmosphere — perfect for a relaxed coffee break. The service was friendly and attentive, even during busy hours. The terrace is a great place to sit and people-watch, especially if you enjoy the lively atmosphere of central Biarritz. Prices are reasonable for the location, and the overall vibe is authentic and unpretentious. A great stop whether you're a local or just passing through! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a casual but quality place to enjoy the Biarritz vibe.

Went there a couple days ago and everything was nice until the waiter brought us completely mismatched glasses for the same wine which when asked were promptly switched but that wasn’t that big of a deal. When they brought us the appetizers everything was nice but the salad with avocado and crab where the crab was spoiled and gave me food poisoning. The steak was mediocre but before we had gotten a burger there which was really great and so was the chocolate crème brûlée that I got the same night as food poisoning :(

The bistro Bistrot du Haou on the central Gambetta street is a typical French bistro with delicious food and great prices. It's perfect for a late morning coffee or drop in for lunchtime.
the hotel recommended this place, we liked it alot. nice service and they are clearly careful with their flavors, however portion size is on the light side. for example a tomato starter for €10 seemed a little unreasonable but when you try it, the flavors blow your mind, so we ordered a secone one. i personally did not love the chipirons flavor as i it needed lemon but my wife loved it. the tuna was fantastic

This nice bistro is a delight. We had breakfast one day and decided to go back for diner. Breakfast was simpel but good. Diner was really nice. Beautiful plates, very tasty and fresh local produce. Service was very friendly and professional. We had the pleasure of being served by Melissa. Young woman who understands hospitality very well! La Rotonde - Côté Maison offers a delightful dining experience for families. The impeccable service and delicious food make it a great choice for a memorable meal. While some dishes like the trout may not be extraordinary, the desserts such as Le Citron and La crème brûlée are splendid and worth savoring.
The dining room is impeccably well appointed. The seats are comfortable, and our wait for a table was less than 2 minutes. The service staff were very attentive, but not intrusive. Our chairs were equipped with a pull-out shelf for our personal belongings. Our food (pollock and a hamburger) was good, but it was served Luke warm. I will visit the restaurant again.

The place itself is magnificent and holds lots of charm on its own. We had 3 different dishes and 2 desserts. Nothing strikes my mind that I have to go back again and they are all quite all right. The risotto made with celery is quite creative though.

Beautiful views. Fantastic food (I had the lobster pasta both nights). Only complaint I have is that it was rather hard to get the attention of the staff to order a glass of wine. Both nights I was here I ended up with 1 glass and never had the opportunity to order another due to the waitresses / sommelier attending to other guests.

Excellent service from Sohail. He was extremely attentive and anticipated everything before we even needed to ask. An absolute pleasure to receive such outstanding treatment. Other waiters were also fantastic, offering detailed knowledge on the history of the palace. The brunch was incredible in a beautiful setting, with the piano playing in the background. The price is extremely fair considering the quality and choice of food, the setting and the ambiance. A very special moment.

Bleu Café is a beachside spot located on the promenade of La Grande Plage in Biarritz, offering a pleasant terrace with exceptional views of the ocean. The café provides an ideal setting to relax, enjoy a meal, or have drinks while facing the waves. Despite changes due to the pandemic, such as using QR codes for menus and reduced food options, visitors can still appreciate the stunning location and stay until sunset.

Great location on La Grande Plage beach in Biarritz, set higher up of the promenade giving better views of the sea than Cafe Dodin further along the beach. Since the pandemic there is no longer a menu brought to the table, there is a QR code on each table to scan however they still take the orders in person. They now open from around 9am and let you stay to watch the sunset however start removing the tables close to dusk. Note it’s a much reduced food menu than before.

You Sushi Biarritz is a delightful sushi chain that stands out for its commitment to vegetarian options and eco-friendly practices. As someone gradually transitioning to a fully vegetarian lifestyle, I find their diverse menu refreshing—not just the typical avocado or cucumber rolls, but an array of delicious choices that cater to various tastes. The ambiance is charming, with both indoor and outdoor seating available, making it a perfect spot for any occasion.
All the dishes are fresh with reasonable price. Good atmosphere and kind staffs, serving foods very fast but you may have to wait for them to come to you as they are so busy on taking calls for take aways. As a person from London where Sashimi is super overpriced andbut don't taste good or fresh enough, and the list of Sashimi is mostly salmon only, I was very satisfied for the quality and quanity. Also nice atmosphere.

This was a fantastic sushi experience. From the stunning menu, the lovely atmosphere, the gorgeous presentation all the way to the great service. And the dishes? Sensational! We come from the U.S. and this was the best sushi the 5 of us (2 adults and 3 older teens) ever had. Absolutely genius flavor pairings. And the price was incredibly fair. We ate a ton and didn’t break the bank. We will definitely be back! Merci!

Restaurant EPOQ, located in the heart of Biarritz, is a stylish dining spot with a focus on locally sourced and organic dishes. Opened by Chef Anthony Orjollet, this restaurant features an open kitchen, wine bar, and wine shop. With 80% of its cuisine cooked over an open fire, EPOQ emphasizes sustainability and uses ingredients sourced from wild foragers, botanists, independent fishermen, and local cheesemakers.
We visited EPOQ following a recommendation and we are SO glad we did. It has been an absolutely fantastic experience. Chef Anthony and his lovely team created a seven course custom vegetarian menu for us on the fly and we enjoyed every bite of it. The wine recommendation was spot on. We had a seat at the counter and enjoyed observing the seemingly effortless routine in the kitchen that speaks to the team’s expertise and ethos. Relaxed urban vibe, excellent food and outstanding service - Can’t recommend highly enough and will definitely return on our next trip to Biarritz.

This is one of the best meals I’ve had in France. The food isn’t traditional French food, so if that’s what you’re looking for don’t eat here. The food is French inspired but mixed with cultures from across the globe. We started with the ravioli which was savory and delicious. For a main course I had the steak and my partner a tuna special. The steak was cooked blue, it was really tasty with an excellent sauce. The tuna was extremely fresh and tasted like it had been caught less than 24 hours prior. If you’re in the area I highly recommend a visit. Unlike most restaurants in the area it’s not a tourist cafe looking to take your money and give you mediocre food. We also went here on a food tour and had excellent baos here.

We had an amazing lunch at Epoq. Service was great and fast. The cocktail was delicious. Now the food. It was amazing. The produces were obviously well picked, and everything we picked was delightful, from start to finish. One of the best lunch I did this year.

We had a great time at Epoq !! Food was beyond good, high quality produce and amazing/intresting flavours !! The anchovy tart especially stood out. Service was very good, everyone knew the card well and could give advice. They were incredibly kind and hard working. Good wine selection too. Merci beaucoup and bravo !
Anna Z — Google review
Had an absolutely amazing experience at EPOQ. The service was fantastic as our waiter helped us to translate every single dish on the menu and make the right choice. The cocktails are very creative and the food was very well balanced - the octopus and the plate of seasonal vegetables were the best ones. Make sure you make a reservation - we came 30 min after they opened and were able to get the last table upstairs. There is also a bar section downstairs but it has a different menu more of the bar snacks and drinks. For dinning out in Biarritz for dinner that is not too touristy but hype and creative EPOQ is the right place to come. Our plan is to come back for lunch next time.

I used to like this place.... Until today. We - gay couple - asked politely to be seated instead of just taking the free table with sea view. The waiter told us the seaside table was "reserved" (clearly a lie: there was no "reserved" sign and there were dirty glasses so people had just vacated the table) and put us at a table in the shade away from the view. Two minutes later a straight couple just strolled up, took the seaside table without asking and the waiter cleaned the table without remarks, gave them a menu and that was that. So we left - don't want to be treated like second rate citizens.....

I hate leaving a bad review but was not the best experience unfortunately. My eggs Benedict came out cold (was unsure if this was supposed to be the case as it was served with salad and cucumber but cold bacon was not a vibe). We would have given feedback to the staff however found it very difficult to get anyone’s attention even though it wasn’t very busy. My favorite spot in Biarritz! Super tasty poke bowls of your own selection with fresh ingredients. Very cozy place, with super friendly blonde girl will make you stay longer. Place is pets friendly as well. Time stops there, you can really chill out with tasty food.

Great Variety, But Leaves You Hungry 🥗🐟🍗 The ingredient selection is excellent—clear structure with just the right number of choices: 3 bases, 5 proteins, 13 standard ingredients (+4 premium), 5 toppings, and sauce. You can build your bowl exactly how you like it, which is great. The ingredients taste fresh, and the vibe is laid-back with friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. But here’s the downside: portion sizes. At €12.90 (small) and €14.90 (large), you expect a bit more substance. Even the large bowl felt underwhelming in size. For me, the price-to-portion ratio tips the scale the wrong way, which unfortunately overshadows an otherwise solid experience.
Alex A — Google review
Friendly atmosphere, the staff were very kind. The big bowl seemed to us like a medium size and the salmon which we usually order raw at other poke bowl places was smoked instead. Everything was great though, food was fresh and delicious! :)

We went here once a month or maybe more. One of our favorite brunch restaurants in Biarritz. The food is so delicious and fresh made from salty to sweet treats. The coffee is so good too. One thing to keep in mind. It's a small family-run restaurant. They do what they can do to serve the customer. There are no reservations and yes! you have to come and ask for the spot to eat in and sometimes there will be a long wait (at least one hour and I do wait so many times) but believe me it's worth the wait. But if you have no time, coffee to go and some pastries will be a good choice.

WOWWW!!! The quality of every dish was outstanding, and the place itself is absolutely charming. With just a few cozy tables upstairs, it feels intimate and welcoming. Everything is freshly prepared, portions are generous, ingredients are top quality, and the service is impeccable. The coffee is excellent, the fresh juices are delicious, and overall, these guys truly know how to cook and create a wonderful experience!

Absolutely incredible brunch! It's worthy to wait 30 minutes. You can truly taste the chef’s love and passion in every bite. It’s one of the best meals I’ve ever had. Just far surpassing even the breakfasts at any luxury hotels... And the portion is much bigger than I expected.

Great prices, great coffee, great staff. DELICIOUS food and very affordable. The buckwheat galette mix is vegan and so is the Basquella spread. Sweet and savoury vegan combinations are up to your imagination, they're very accommodating.

Nestled in the heart of Biarritz, Restaurant Bellevue by Miremont is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic French patisserie experience. As soon as you step inside, you'll understand why it's so beloved. The outdoor seating offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and Grande Plage, making it the perfect spot to savor their exquisite pastries and desserts. Whether you're indulging in a light breakfast or treating yourself to decadent tortes and cakes, each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.
Usually, when I come to Biarritz, I always stop by the good old and well-known Miremont. Restaurant with the best view of the Atlantic Ocean and the lighthouse. Aristocratic atmosphere with extraordinary desserts

Great place to have a coffee. Nice outdoor terrace with sea views.
Joel B — Google review
The service was the most disappointing part. On our first visit, we asked at the entrance if there was fish on the menu, and the waiter said without hesitation that of course there was, and invited us to sit down. In fact, there was no fish on the menu. During our second visit, we sat for 15 minutes waiting for our order to be taken. Two waiters served the tables that came after us and ignored us, even though they could see that we had a child with us. Despite the decent cuisine, we won't be going back—the price does not match the quality and level of service.

We love this restaurant and the location. Wonderful food, view and service. Try the Croque Monsieur.

Nestled across from les Halles, Bar du Marché is a delightful gem that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. While the selection of tapas may not be extensive, the quality shines through with standout dishes like beef tartare and joue de porc when available. The desserts are equally tempting and all come at reasonable prices. Guests rave about the friendly service and vibrant atmosphere, especially when dining al fresco by the street.
Just love it, Nice food, vibes, and service.

The guy would not give us a table but gave someone else after us a table. Tables available. Could it be because we were asian? We will never know.
Liza G — Google review
Great atmosphere, service was good albeit they seemed in a rush and didn’t explain anything on the menu very well when we were asking. The food was ok, I asked for my beef to be cooked medium well, it came out raw with a crust on it and I could barely eat it. The squid was pretty good.
Alison M — Google review
An excellent lunch. Nice shady spot on a hot afternoon. First time we had escargot. Was quite good. Staff was helpful as our French is not very good. Definitely recommend.

Excellent food. Try the beef tartare and joue de porc if they're on the menu. The desserts are great too. All reasonably priced. Great service too, and a fun atmosphere by the street side.
Shannon L — Google review
I have to say, my experience at this pub in Biarritz was absolutely disgraceful. Not only were we denied the use of their bathroom, but the staff's behavior, particularly the rude French waiter, was simply unacceptable. Let me set the scene. We were strolling through Biarritz, enjoying the local atmosphere and scenery, when my pregnant wife suddenly felt the need to use the restroom. We spotted this pub and thought we'd give it a try. However, after politely asking the staff if we could use their facilities, we were met with a curt and dismissive response. One male French waiter in particular was incredibly rude, bordering on downright offensive. As someone who has traveled the world and experienced a wide range of cultures and attitudes, I have to say that this was one of the most disappointing and frustrating experiences I have had in a long time. It's one thing to be denied access to a bathroom, but it's quite another to be treated with such disrespect and disdain. What left an even worse taste in my mouth was the question: was this experience representative of the people in Biarritz as a whole? I have always had a great appreciation for French culture and cuisine, but this incident has left me feeling disillusioned and disappointed. I have a responsibility to be honest and transparent about my experiences and unfortunately, in this case, I cannot in good conscience recommend this pub to anyone. The staff's behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful, and it's simply not worth subjecting yourself to that kind of treatment--as other reviews can corroborate. In conclusion, my experience at this pub in Biarritz was a complete letdown. The denial of access to their bathroom was bad enough, but the behavior of the French waiter was simply unacceptable. As much as it pains me to say it, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth.

This is the cutest little french restaurant. It ia very cozy and has a great atmosphere. The food was great any crêpe will do but I loved the one with nuts and french maple syrup. The service was good, the couple who owns the place were really kind. Loved this place and we will repeat!

Nice couple running the place. Service is typical France but they are very nice even if they take their time! Crepe I had was good (not exceptional) but pricey. Not bad overall. Good for a one time try--can't afford more than that! ;)

(Translated by Google) Crepes restaurant with a family and traditional atmosphere in the center of Biarritz. Apart from the crepes we saw that they serve mussels, we tried them and they are delicious. The potatoes served with the mussels are frozen. The crepes are homemade and easy to eat (they are not coarse). The treatment is pleasant. It is a small space and full of tables, it is not an intimate restaurant, but it is worth it. It is well priced and they speak Spanish. (Original) Restaurante de ambiente familiar y tradicional de Crepes en el centro de Biarritz. This charming spot offers a delightful array of homemade cakes and pastries that are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth. Only one thing needs be said (but I'll say more): The burger was actually chopped steak. And not thin, dry sliced steak, but moist & tender steak tips. What an awesome (and delicious) surprise! Came with fries & a salad, both of which were tasty also. My wife got the seared ahi tuna salad, and it was both filling & perfectly cooked. Wonderful meal for our last night in Biarritz!
