Nice enough museum but lots of work going on so it will greet bigger and better I am sure. I was trying to find the aerial pictures of Bahrain over the ages that I’d seen before but couldn’t find them ☹️ maybe next time!

The galleries highlight the Early Copper Age, burial mounds, traditional culture, and many other historical moments that shaped Bahrain’s identity. They even had Indian rupees once used in Bahrain before the dinar. The exhibits are well-curated with artifacts, manuscripts, and crafts that bring the kingdom’s heritage to life. The entry fee is BHD 1.100 for adults and free for kids.

Though small, the museum is clean and well-organized. Entry costs 1.1 BHD, and you’ll need around 30 minutes to go through the exhibits. A good short visit for anyone interested in local history.

Beautiful grand mosque, for up to 7,000 people. The entrance is free and they provide you appropriate Arabic clothes if you are not dressed according to their standards. There is a quick free tour as well. Definitely worth a visit while in Bahrain.

An absolute must when visiting Bahrain. Dress appropriately. We were given robes & scarves & enjoyed a free private tour by a volunteer. He was so informative & the interior is stunning. We were able to discreetly watch the call to midday prayers & the followers.

Leaving the inside as a surprise as it is beautiful. One of the if not thee biggest mosque in the area. Even if you’re not Muslim I would still come check it out and explore.

An impressing mosque and great place to go. I had an official guide employed by the bahraini government who explained a lot of details. Although I have been to other mosques I got to know more about the religion and culture. Make sure that you are there with an official guide.

A lovely museum that has a lot of Islamic religious history; mainly when it comes to the holy Qur’an. The place is very well decorated, and the different artifacts are well displayed across several floors. Walking between the floors is through ramps, making it very friendly for folks with wheelchair needs. Tickets are bought at the entrance by cash or card. As a general remark, clothing that covers the body is advised, in addition to head covering for women. Expect to spend 30 minutes onwards here.

Really cool museum with SO many Qurans from different time periods. All the different exhibits were really interesting and well laid out. The architecture of the building itself is really cool and clean. If you enjoy history museums — add this to your list!

I'm sure it's beautiful. It looks beautiful on the outside but it will be closed from the 1st of July to the 31st of August 2025 for maintenance.

REQUEST: This is a great place. There is a lot to learn about Islamic history here. Actually, I have never visited here. But I planned to visit on Friday, my day off. But it is closed on Friday. This is unacceptable. Because most people would like to visit here on Friday, their day off. So I would like to ask the authorities to think about keeping it open on Friday. Note: I have given it 1 star now. However, if I can ever visit or it opens on Fridays, I will edit it and give it 5 stars.

Very beautiful museum, where you can find old copies of Quran from all over the world (except the new worlds such as America and Ocenia). There are copies of Quran from Europe too that were printed in Switzerland back in the 16th century. Amazing to know about this! The entrance costs 1 BD and on the left there is a small masjid where Muslims can pray. There is also wudu area.

It was an interesting visit, you can see how the quran was preserved and written through the different timings, specially the section where western showed interest in translating the Quran into different languages just for the sake of sharing different culture and religion

The place is very cosy and not very big. You can finish it in under 30 minutes depending on how detailed you want to be. It has a vast collection of Qurans from the very early 1st century of Islam up to modern copies. Don't miss it. Admission is free and donations are welcomed. The museum has a mosque attached to it. The only reason I gave it four stars because it does not have any interactive exhibits, also, you can't see any staff, most probably because the admission is free and they don't have enough funds.

A good place to buy souvenirs and food. Parking is difficult though. The best thing about the souq is that they accept credit cards everywhere, no need to have local currency. However if you are willing to exchange currency, there is a change but I think the rate is not favourable. We had a delicious fresh juice for a very cheap price.

Manama Souq is the nice place to visit. You can experience a traditional Arab market in the north of Manama. You can get here clothes, Oud, electronics, jwellery, spices, handicrafts etc. It's also a must-see cultural hotspot with compelling sights, sounds and smells that blend to create one of the region's most enchanting urban attractions. There are lots of local shops you can get exceptional deal if you bargain.

I visited in the mid afternoon of Tuesday so most of the stalls are closed. It's cozy in there, and you can see there are so many souvenir shops and authentic local products. There is a taxi waiting area outside, and the drivers resting there are so friendly, one even gave me a cup of cold water. I will try to visit at night time for a different vibe

I visited the Bahrain Trade Center during my recent trip to Manama and was impressed by its modern architecture and stunning views of the city. The building's unique design and LED light display at night are definitely worth seeing. Although it's primarily a business hub, the Trade Center offers a few attractions for tourists, including a viewing deck on the 28th floor with panoramic views of the city. With minimum places to see in Bahrain, the WTC is one of those iconic places. It is definitely an architectural piece of work but for a photographic perspective I would recommend to visit some place nearby to get better angles. It’s a mall cum twin tower that hosts only premium/luxury brands.

The Avenues is a good mall. I think it's the most famous one in Bahrain. I enjoyed walking inside the mall. There are a lot of palm trees planted around, and it's a good vibe. You feel like it belongs there, and I enjoyed it. There's a lot of shops and restaurants, and I ate some pizzas and had some Starbucks. It was a really good time.

A fun place for families and kids, with a nice mix of rides. There’s something for all age groups—from gentle rides for little ones to more thrilling ones for older kids and teens. The area is clean, and the staff are helpful. It can get a bit crowded on weekends, so visiting on a weekday is more relaxing. Food stalls and seating areas are available, making it easy to spend a few hours here. A good spot for a casual day out with family or friends.

One of the best Park for fun, enjoy and entertainment, plenty of rides to board, mini golf area, padel boating, dodging cars and lot more, very nice Park for family especially for kids. 0.5 BD is entry ticket and 7.7 BD pass for maximum 3 different rides, and each ride can be taken max 3 times. Superb Park for lots of fun, very well maintained, clean and tidy.

Adhari Park in Manama is a great spot for family fun, offering a mix of indoor and outdoor rides, games, and food options. It’s perfect for kids and enjoyable for adults too. Some rides may need maintenance, but overall, it’s a fun and lively place to spend an evening.

Visited the Adhari Park venue for the first time. It's a lovely place especially for kids to play. We visited the Hall where the Durga Puja was held. Very spacious and clean.

Has both outdoor and indoor activities. There was a package of about 7BD which allows 3 rounds of each activity. The rides are limited and does not provide much activities for younger kids; so if you are coming with a family of different ages, it may be a challenge. One more thing, I don’t think the staff has any training on guest interaction . From the time you come to the reception, a rather cold, robotic person explains a list of pricing which just goes over your head. It would be better to have notices on pricing. The ride attendants have no business serving customers - who are mostly young people. There was zero warmth and most looked like they would rather be somewhere else! A fun park should have the right ambience- and getting the right staff and training them to serve and create a fun environment is a priority. Get your recruitment process right. When I was checking on height limit for my child to enter the ride, the staff did not even look at me and said, ‘No!’ When I told him that I do respect the security decision but he could at least say it politely, he simply barked back at me and repeated ‘No’, when I was not even disputing it. One exception was the staff at the Japan Coast who seemed genuinely interested in keeping his customers happy. Overall ok place to go, if they will improve on customer service!

I went there during a public holiday, the place is big, clean and lovely. Most of the games are for people above 140 cm in height. so my children didn't get a chance to play, but there is a play area for kids with electronic games. The fees was 0.500 fils per person because of the festival, then you can charge your card with any amount.

The compound is an old Bahraini house that has been completely restored and renovated by French artist Jean Marc Sinan. The vast terrace of their fine dining restaurant can seat up to 250 guests for special events like movie nights and art exhibition dinners and with the central fountain, still manages a peaceful and tranquil experience. The food menu has Mediterranean and Italian influences along with a few Asian dishes. The current art exhibition is “A Thousand Fragments” by Iris Morata. Iris's latest collection transforms wood's natural imperfections into profound reflections on life's complexities. Each piece (made out of small wood squares) invites you to shift your perspective, uncovering hidden depth and emotion as you walk around each piece. As with all fine dining, the restaurant service was top notch. The art gallery closes at around dinner time but the staff was kind enough to open the gallery for viewing. Out of all the food sampled, the Pan-seared Norwegian Salmon, Thai Sizzling Beef, and La Fontaine Chocolate Fondant were the favorites that stole the show! The entrance door was not clear. We search for it. The table has no salt. Black pepper or tissue. We ordered Asparagus soup. Was excellent. Salad super. Chicken breast is fantastic. Over all super and we will be back again.

Not just a beautiful restaurant but also an art gallery. It’s a gem !! Located in the middle of busy old town . Really recommend the visit if you are in Bahrain . Food and service were excellent. The fountain in the middle and decoration is amazing

The building is amazing. All art rooms were closed on Thursday night. Only 1 employee to manage the entire restaurant, tske order serve and make drinks, etc, he may have been the cooking too... We were 10 guests, everybody was disappointed for the price. The food was average, very small portions, we had steaks with peppercorns sauce, we got a spoonful of sauce and a very small portion of fries, no veggies and poor presentation in plate... the steaks were not good. Clam Pastas was tasteless, and 75% of clams were still closed and not properly prepared. Calamari were so overcooked that it was almost burnt. Very Disappointing experience. The food used to be so good. The poor employee was trying his best to provide good service, but he was overloaded.

It is a beautiful place, but I felt service was lacking ... they were not ready although I had a reservation. Obviously the server was new. I hoped things are more controlled, especially during Covid. Did not feel all that safe and comfortable. However, my main course was very good. Drinks and salad and soups were not impressive. Appetizers were good. Overall, good, but it did not meet my expectation.

What a beautiful location! Very atmospheric. The food was delicious, and there was a wide selection of wines. Good service, definitely recommended!

Beautiful Beautiful and Beautiful This is what best describes this place. Heritage preserved, spices preserved and beautiful artisanal pearls and gold souq shops well preserved. This place is well connected with several old food eateries however Parking inside is only a remote possibility. Always check for opposite ground for paid parking but do not park under a tree shed as notorious pigeons target only your car (I feel).

One of the must visit historical spots in Bahrain if you are a tourist. Public holidays and weekends can get quite busy.

As I'm much more into food markets, I didn't buy anything at this place. It specializes more into gold, hanging glass lamps, souvenirs and material things. I still liked the decorations hanging from the ceiling and the artistic shops worth of some pictures. The street is not that long and if you don't make stops, you will walk through it in few minutes.

We used to live here and it‘s a beautiful relaxing place. It makes me sad seeing restaurants closing one by one. The Indian restaurants were our favorite. The manager should do more advertising and facilitating the Reef Island. The beach club is an example of neglect.. beautiful buildings like it should be occupied and used.. I would like to work as a Marketer there.. the Island has so much potential.

Reef Island is an ideal residential community and tourist destination owing to its picturesque architecture, greenery, and location. While it's not a commercial place, visitors are welcome to the resort and restaurants located inside. I particularly like going there in the winter to enjoy the weather and sea view.

Best of the best , nothing can beat the architecture, engineering, or green agricultural design and quantitative trees , plants, and flowers from around the world. The island is environmentally friendly and has top-notch restaurants, clubhouse, and beach. Buildings all grear style , with parking slots, pool and gym. Two play areas for kids . Boat parking is also on site , in addition to a small grocery shop. The project is under development, and many plans to come are highly recommended for families. Security and safety at level best , from main entrance to daily checkups. Super clean place always , you can't find dust , dirt, or garbage here. I love the place, and the view is amazing from any place u stay. A beautiful walk around the island is suitable for jogging , dog walk, and running. This is a private island in the heart of Bahrain.

An amazing place to spend your summer break.You might need to make an early booking though and they have different packages as well. If you are really interested in swimming, this private beach is the place or you could just relax, if you are planning to get tanned. They have a small restaurant .Getting a scenic view of the water while lieing on a beach chair with umbrella sipping a cold drink kind of a vacation. They even have separate toilets with shower for men as well as women.Overall a great Summer vacation spot or even a weekend spot.

Loved this place. Absolutely my favorite place to live in Bahrain. Peaceful and quiet. The hounds are kept up perfectly. Low amounts of traffic. Favorite things are the sea views and city views. Also the walking trail that goes all the way around this island is what makes this such a special place to live. Access to Manama and Seef area further enhances this as the spot to live in Bahrain.

One of few forts in Bahrain worth visiting. The fort is quite small, yet has good views to the sea. There are some old stores and boats on-site, too. Maintain care when you walk inside the fort as the land is sandy at times and rocky at others. Tickets are bought at the entrance by cash or card, and are priced at 1 BHD. They have ample parking outside. Expect to spend no more than 30 minutes. The fort is very close to a shopping mall and a park.

I enjoyed seeing Arad Fort but there isn't much to see. Essentially there is one curator that sits near the parking lot and you can walk through the fort as you wish. I spent about 30-45 minutes here and saw everything. I also had the Fort to myself the entire time which was pretty cool. There isn't much overhead cover here so I recommend bringing your own water, sunscreen, and a hat. Parking is close to the fort as well, maybe 50m away. The entrance is a nice spot for pictures in the afternoon.

Small fortress that was built during the Portugal occupation to Bahrain. It speaks the history of that period. Free entry, no tickets. No tour guide. The only entrance to the fortress area is through the parking lot in front of Seef Mall Muharraq

Well maintained and located at a very nice location, sunset would be the best time to visit. Its quite spacious, there is a nice view of the beach but nothing much otherwise. Entry was free and plenty of parking available outside.

Al Khamis Mosque is one of the first mosques in Bahrain. Open between 12 and 5 o'clock. There are open and closed areas. In open areas, some sections are covered with glass. There is no written explanation as to why this is so. But later we learned that it was built that way because it was a cemetery. Since the mosque area was under restoration, it was forbidden to go near it. The environment was quiet and calm. Entrance was free. You can access detailed historical information in the closed area.

One of the best historical landmarks in Bahrain , a must visit tourist place , its the oldest Mosque in Bahrain and one of the best tourist locations. A must visit for photography lovers to capture some nice historical architecture.Such a beautiful, historic gem in the middle of Bahrain. We went during the day and it was hot and humid and we were the only people there. We didn’t spend more than 20 minutes there but we absolutely loved it.

From an information plaque in the 'visitor center'. "The Al-Khamis mosque is the oldest extant mosque in Bahrain, and as such has a very special identity on the islands. The buildings we see today dates largely from the 12th to 13th centuries CE, tradition claims the original mosque was built in the early 8th century CE. The area in which the mosque stands is Bilad al-Qadim, which translates as "The Old Town" or "The Old Country", and history and archaeology show that people have been living here since at least the 8th Century CE." This is a nice site that has three main sections, first the entrance which hosts a small visitor centre where you can see aerial photos of the old town, gravestones, artefacts, old coins, gems, pearls etc. Next is a large open space where you can see remains of the old structures, a shrine (which has sadly collapsed) and then the Mosque itself. The pavement has a very gently slope so getting around is easy and the site can be completed by wheelchair or buggy (not including inside the mosque). The entire site is really well maintained and spotlessly clean. There are two minarets that you can enter and climb to see out of the windows but these are very narrow and small so adults may struggle getting in. Overall its a very enjoyable site and well worth a visit if you have never been before. Entrance is free as is parking, there are toilets on site and you don't need to either wear a head covering for women and shorts are OK for men. Please be aware that there is a 3 meter deep well close to the footpath that is not fenced off, something to bear in mind if you have young children that like to run ahead. Great for photography.

Very ancient masque is waiting for you to visit and enjoy your trip in Bahrain, but unfortunately we were not allowed inside by the security guards, they told us that today is Friday and the masque is closed for visitors after 4 pm while normally it remain open up to 5 pm, we took just few clicks from outside of the boundary wall. Do vhr before you go there.

A little piece of history in the middle of the modern day Bahrain. Believed to be the oldest mosque in Bahrain , it is preserved quite well. There is a visitors center, where more information about the Mosque and about the era can be found with lots of exhibits from the Khamis Mosque excavation along with footnotes as to what they represent and their significance in both Arabic and English. There is also an audio device which visitors can play in order to get an idea about the Mosque and the era. An interactive device which shows you the trade routes in the historic era is also found here. Apparently there is a guide present in the visitors section but was disappointing as he did not even bother to show around and explain. After existing the visitors center, it will lead you to the main Mosque section where you can explore it. You can also climb the minaret to get an Arial view. Suggest to visit in winter or after sunset at summer. It is a shame that not a lot of people visit this Mosque and that it is not promoted much.

Bahrain National Theater is an amazing place! For me it is an architectural masterpiece! In the evening, it seems as if this building is floating on the waves. The interior refers to wooden fishing boats. The shapes of balconies, armchairs, balustrades... remind me of musical instruments. The play of light is amazing! The only minus - a very expensive cafe.

Visited City Centre Bahrain in 2023 with my family, and it was a wonderful experience! This modern and spacious mall offers everything under one roof — from international fashion brands, electronics, and groceries to a wide variety of restaurants and cafes. The ambiance is lively, and the kids’ entertainment areas make it an ideal spot for families. We truly enjoyed our time shopping, dining, and simply walking around the beautifully designed interior. Definitely one of the top shopping destinations in Bahrain — clean, well-maintained, and full of life!

I visit Bahrain City Center nearly every other day to walk around and enjoy a coffee. Over the weekend I go with the family as well. It is a pleasant mall with a nice mix of stores, cafes and restaurants. However, I have noticed recently that there are no public seating areas, unless it is in a Cafe or restaurant. Only common seating areas are by the exits to the parking lots. The mall is visited daily by people of all ages and some need to rest or wait for their families while they shop. Seating was available at sometimes. However, all spaces have been replaced by Kiosks which probably generate income, elderly guests on the other hand need to rest every now and then. May I suggest to consider installing scattered seating benches around the mall to complete exceptional shopping experienced. I will post three pictures for empty spaces (to show a few) followed by options of indoor seating designs to install them attached to the ground to avoid any vandalism that may occur.

City center shopping mall bahrain is an international standard mall and the biggest in bahrain definitely bigger than the avenues. Ive watched saiyaara movie in vox cinema which was a good experience and tried other foods in the foodcourt where plenty of options were available.

One of the tallest building in Bahrain that I love to visit, but they don't allow tourist inside, but luckily I got a job interview in the building and got a chance to see it. I feel so lucky. Lol. Here's the view from 30th floor

This is Almoayyed Tower offers retail space covering its 'Mall' which encompasses the ground and mezzanine floors and has a separate entrance on the north side of the structure. The building has booster antennas from all the major telecom providers in Bahrain, meaning that signal is not lost whilst in one of the 6 elevators. The 43rd floor offers space for antennas: given Almoayyed Tower's large size relative to all other buildings in the Al Seef District, it has been a hub for telecom providers to place their antennas on Almoayyed Tower to give better reception to the rest of Manama.

Probably the best office tower building in Seef. Great places to go for lunch and most importantly it has a Costa for my favorite coffee.

It's a decent building with many food options and multinational companies. One of the best landmarks in Bahrain to have an office in... The building manager Steven is a bit discourteous & insolent though thud giving 3 stars as the staff of the building has a big impact on the environment.....

The longest Tower in Bahrain! (So far!!)

Very positive experience, and beyond happily surprised by his prices for custom framing. After I selected my border and frame for my oil, he gave me the price, I actually had to ask for something more expensive. I'm so used to having to beg for a discount at another framer, this was not the case in Arabesque. 4 days later, my painting was complete, it was perfect. I will highly recommend. His gallery is very impressive, many pieces feature his father's work, a well known artist in Bahrain.

Naseef at bab albahrain is one of the best places to have breakfast at. I loved their Foul home made bread, karak and Halomi. I have tried their ice cream and it is tasty as well. I wish I have tried their home made french toast but I was already full. I will visit it again and again and again. The place is clean and the costumer service is high too. Khairul is very accommodating and has high welcoming attitude with the customer. Many thank and keep going 👍

We went for breakfast, it was fresh and tasty we ordered Bahraini breakfast, portions were good, but the place might close soon or closed already, The only disadvantage is the ac because of high ceilings I guess it was hot 🥵

The area is comfortable and is located in a great spot. I really like their drinks. In the picture I had the Rose Water and it was refreshing! I also like the hummus here. This being said, I did not like the vine leaves, very very vinegary.

To be honest I was planning on eating at Emmawash but sat here. I only realized after I ordered that I was not that the originally intended restaurant. But wow the food here is amazing. I started off ordering a large pot of Karak tea. I think I was only able to drink about half the pot because it was so much but it was very nice taste. For the main course I ordered Gulf Prawns with Golden Saffron Sauce and Rice. This sauce was one of the best sauce I have eaten in my life, not sure what they put in it but definitely butter. Absolutely amazing and I could not stop raving about this sauce to my girlfriend. Price was a bit high but it was worth it. Amazing place and glad I accidentally sat here.

Came here again, fast service, friendly staff, food is tasty and flavours popping. Breakfast for one is more than enough. French toast is the bang bang, it's a must get. Cheap and cheerful food, atmosphere, can't fault it..

the food (traditional breakfast, fresh squeezed juices and Moroccan tea) is very good. Served in an interesting way. Waiters and kitchen work smoothly. The boss of table allocation as well. However, we waited for almost half an hour behind the table! There is only one person cleaning the tables in peak traffic and very slow! We were standing while 6 tables were left unclean! The place is nice - close to shops, handicraft stands. Necessarily service to improve! We went there again in January 2022. The service has improved a lot. Breakfast still tasty, lemonades delicious and good coffee :-)

Located in the mall of Souq Bab Albahrain in the heart of Manama is a a known Bahraini eatery with other locations in the Kingdom. Offers a selection of dishes and drinks favored by locals and enjoyed by visitors. We ordered the breakfast platter that contained a selection of dishes including spiced potatoes, scrambled eggs and tomato, chickpea chutney, falafel, balaleet (famous breakfast dish all over the Gulf with sweetened vermicelli and a hint of rose water topped with a fried egg) as well as Bahraini Kabab (similar to Indian Pakora). All presented in traditional metal bowels. The Karak tea also famous around the gulf and India is a rich sweetened milk tea with cardamom and saffron. The lemon mint drink was refreshing and nicely balanced. The food was tasty particularly the potatoes, foul and falafel. The meal was heavy and sets you up well for a day of walking around the Souq. The service was efficient but not memorable and given the price tag I think there are more options worth trying throughout the

A heritage house in Muharraq worth a visit. Attractions to see are the wind tower, coloured stained glass work and the house plan...it has the main court, guest area and servant quarters. It's open all days except Friday. Definitely people who are interested in Bahrain history should visit this house.

Fascinating example of traditional Bahraini architecture. Shows not only the historic usage of the buildings, but also features a very interesting wind tower. However, there are few facilities on site, beyond and more information panels to aid interpretation would be nice.

The House of Sheikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa was his residence and the seat of his government. This beautiful house offers insight into the royal life in the 19th century. It consists of several rooms arranged around four courtyards and characterized by its wind towers. It is considered one of the most impressive example of Gulf Islamic architecture on the island.

Everyone shouts at you trying to sell you their gold. It gets really annoying and just makes me wanna not buy at all. But still facinating to see the shops and gold on display.

Visited Jovis Jewelry repair. They made a very professional repair of a bracelet, exactly what I wanted. Lots of great selection, Indian and Bahraini styles!

Jewelery hub in the capital ,major jewellers have their exclusive showrooms here, considering the number of shops exclusively for jewelery and the competitive market it creates customers gain with a range of designs and quality assured . As common in jewellery business to have welcoming and pleasing staff and create a comfortable space for customers here too staff is up to those standards . Parking is still an issue as its in government Avenue and normally one may not get a parking space right near to the building but in nearby surrounding areas beside standard Chartered bank and behind bus station one can definitely find a place for his car if one is willing to walk half a kilometer.

This is a small park with a small waterbody inside . Well maintained . Nice place to come in evening with family and have a stroll. There are ducks, fish and birds, with a play area for kids . There is a minimal entry free but it’s very welcoming and comforting place to go.

A breath of fresh air — a true nature escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It felt amazing to be surrounded by lush greenery and water features. There were even ducks swimming in the pond, waiting hopefully for passersby to toss them some dried bread — such a delightful surprise! Although it was a bit of a challenge to find, it was absolutely worth it. The entrance fee is just 300 fils (cash or BenefitPay accepted), and the peaceful atmosphere makes it well worth revisiting. There's also a small café in the middle if you'd like a snack, or you can enjoy a picnic on the grass. Highly recommend for a relaxing day out.

It was a beautiful day to visit the Bahrain Bay. Views were lovely and the area is lined with restaurants and cafes for an enjoyable experience. Iconic Landmarks: The Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay, with its unique H-shaped structure, is a prominent landmark situated on its own island within Bahrain Bay. Other notable structures include the United Tower and the Bahrain World Trade Center. Honestly, I have no idea what the hype is about. The place felt completely empty, boring, and honestly… kinda depressing. Add the lovely combo of heat and humidity, and congratulations — you’ve just unlocked the most uncomfortable experience possible. Walking around felt less like sightseeing and more like surviving. Maybe — just maybe — this place looks decent in winter, but in this weather? Absolutely no way. Zero chance I’d ever come back unless the temperature drops by 20 degrees and someone pays me to try again.

This place is the most happening place in Bahrain. Food courts, coffee shop, cruz, boats, ice cream truck, food trucks, jogging track, walking aisle and plenty of parking. What else do you want in life? One more thing: be careful about Eid traffic as returning is always difficult due to crushing traffic so plan early to leave if there is major public holiday including new year/christmas nights.

I haven’t been here for years I guess and they completely looks different from the upper floor. I always crave for them as they have the cheapest and tastiest biryani, grilled chicken and salad ohh I love their salad. This has been one of the most famous, old restaurant here in Bahrain and they have different branch too inside the Kingdom. If you are foreigner don’t miss the chance to try their food. Also try to eat, seating on the floor to add to your food experience. The interior been change for more room to their customers but still they have dedicated some areas like the same. Always freshly grilled and cook. Always pack during lunch time and weekend so to have good experience at peace come during weekdays night. Just a note they only accept cash here. Parking is limited too. Enjoy

One of the older restaurants that serve Biriyani, Bokhari, Mandi etc. The one on Exhibitions Ave I believe is one of the older if not the oldest one in Bahrain. Good tasting chicken and rice. They have family seating upstairs and you can either sit on the floor or at a table. My wife prefers Al Shoala but I'm more of a Mohammed Noor fan. The rotisserie chicken is juicy with a nice flavor. Would definitely recommend for a decent budget friendly meal. The place is a bit old but fairly clean, the staff are always friendly and attentive but they can get a bit distracted when really busy. Good choices of rice but get there early as like a lot places they will run out of certain rice options after the main meal time rushes.

Cheaper than others not luxury however it is good . Cashier is too loaded with many orders . Menu is the same every where . Waiters are fast .

This place is located in the heart of Manama. It is behind the Lulu Complex a hundred meters from the main Manama bus terminal. The market is surrounded by car parks. Every thing is fresh and cheap. Sometimes you need to negotiate prices with sellers. Surely, you will get out of the market with a bargain or more.

Central Market Bahrain / Manama Central Market Presumably a 40 year old marketplace mainly offering local and imported fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, seafood, groceries. However you also you find shops selling work tools, stationery/office supplies and household items. It is worth buying in small quantities and bulk from the central market rather than buying from supermarkets which is considerably costly. The place is busy always on weekdays and its expected more on weekends where its a mixed crowd of all nationalities. Don't go for the cleanliness of this place though it isn't that bad. Parking could be an issue, so its preferable to come early morning on weekdays & weekends.

It's whole sale fruit, vegetables and general grocery market, mostly fresh items are available from 4am till 5pm. Parking remain crowded. The way market is maintained is highly appreciated.

Best place to buy fresh fruits and vegetables. Prices are unbelievably reasonable compared to what you pay in big supermarkets. This is worth going each week if you have good consumption of fruits and vegetables and have better storage space. Lot of shops and variety of items to choose from. Don't expect Supermarket kind of ambience. Parking can be struggle. But overall worth going.

It was indeed a great experienced. I love how cheap and fresh the veggies and fruits here. Need to explore more and learn to bargain. Always say thank you and smile after you brought stuffs from the seller, it’s a plus you can give to ease their hard working life here. Very busy and reasonable low price fruit and vegetable market. You can get these item with 20 to 40% less rates than normal market. Outdoor market timing is 6-8 a.m. and indoor upto 2 pm. Better visit early morning is you want to get fresh and low price fruits.

Pleasant park to spend time with family and friends. There is place to play, walk and jog. The sunset view is amazing from the park. Also there is a huge play area for kids. The park is well equipped with clean washrooms.

A calm place facing sea where you can sit back and relax. There is also a park for kids nearby. But currently it is closed. I didnt not see any washrooms nearby. I cannot say it is well maintained. But still the place is good for jogging and cycling.

Best local market in bahrain you will get pure gold, footwear, attar, spray, lots of souvenir, etc. You can exchange money over there, also very good indian restaurant are there near by. Devji jwellers are best and oldest for 22 carat gold jewellery. Local shops are doing bargaining.

I expected more from the Gold souk in Bahrein. A lot of beautiful golden jewelry here, but the whole set up is so old, stores are small and not appealing to your eye when you think of gold and old building. Definitely good to visit this place when you are first time here or planning on buying jewerly.

Wonderful, busy, bustling group of shops. I have my favorite vendors I have been going to since 1993, and while some shops are to be avoided, many have become lifelong friends and I will return again and again. Gold, gems, and pearls are of high quality, and when they sell you one of a certain grade, you can rest assured it actually IS what they claim it is. I am always eager to get back!

A nice addition of beach in Manama. Entry fees reasonable but would say of somebody taking Jet ski or other water sport activity, entry fees should be waived of st least to be cit down half. Secluded but easy to reach. Sand beach is great but cleaning and removing of stones need to be improved. Love guards are attentive, specially for children. Multiple playing options for kids. Volley ball court and padel courts available. Shower rooms to be increased ASAP.

The vibe is relaxed yet vibrant, making it perfect whether you’re looking to unwind, take a swim, or enjoy beachside cafés. The facilities are excellent, with plenty of seating, shaded areas, and great food options nearby. It felt like a mini vacation right in the heart of Bahrain.

Good place for family beach..with lounger and water sports. Entrance for adult 5bd. the Tall guard is very impolite and rude in the entrance. Its not good please have your security and staff be more polite to guest. And doesnt allow me to take picture and video inside and talk rudely.

it's such a peaceful beach on weekdays. The beach might be small, but it's fine since we just wanted to do jet ski. The was ok, entrance fees was 3BD (5 on weekdays). Jet ski was 33 BD for 30 mins, 22BD for 15 mins. The water sport ppl were really kind and helpful (especially Filipino guy, thanks a lot brother).

It's a nice beach area, unfortunately there were lots of jelly fish but the staff were continuously removing them. Will repeat my visit for sure

City beach is one of the best places to have a great time. The experience that i got there made me a frequent visotor. Starting from the warm friendly welcoming girls in the reception where they face you with a smile and guide u and offer help if needed, to the clean beach that has all the facilities needed to spend a quality joy time. Great Musjid that offer five time prayer, Jummah salah with English kuthbah. The Imaam is very welcoming and at times after Salaah, he’d make himself available to do a Q&A session.

SUBHAN ALLAH, Listening to the khutba in both English and Arabic is such a great experience. The Imam has a really impactful way of delivering his message, making it easy to connect with. Plus, after the Juma prayer, there's a Q&A session, which is a great opportunity to learn even more.

They are all old mosque , but they are so beautiful it’s reminds me old days when we was small kids. It’s looking like very new because they give them very good maintenance.

The Sail Monument is a monument honoring pearl diving, one of Bahrain's most significant industries. It is bordered by hotels, business establishments, banks, and other diplomatic structures and faces out over the Sheikh Isa Bin Sulman Causeway. The monument is made up of two enormous dhow sails that are shaped like two shells encircling a pearl. When it is illuminated at night, it is very stunning

I just visited your store at 9 : 40 pm, and there was an announcement that you will closed in 15 mins. Your staff Name Reada was very rude and takling in bad attitude and saying we are closed. Even though it was 15 mins still to get store closed. I talk to the store incharge And made the complaint against her. Very bad customer service experience. Hope my message will be taken as positively.

The shop is somewhat small and difficult to maneuver around, especially when they are unpacking stock. The clothes I bought here are not great quality though, once in the washing machine and many items have stitching coming lose. I don't have the time or the money to go and return items. Considering I will have to sit and fix everything myself, I am unimpressed with this brand and will not be returning anytime soon.

This is a good place to have a nice movie experience. But I want to emphasize following issue which I experienced today. Their stair lighting (red color) during the movie is actually disturbing the dark scenes of the movie. That red light is reflecting to the canvas. They need to reduce the brightness of that light or do something better to eliminate this issue. I informed this to the supervisor as well.

I recently had the chance to visit Mukta A2 Cinema to watch Empuraan , and overall, it was a great experience. The theater has a comfortable and modern atmosphere, with spacious seating that ensures a pleasant viewing experience. The sound system was excellent, offering clear, immersive audio that made the movie more enjoyable. The screen was large and bright, with crisp visuals that made the movie feel larger-than-life.

This is a great cinema. The cheese popcorn wad great the seats were comfy. The bathrooms were clean and good. We enjoyed the cinema!(8pm screening).
