The food was yummy. Papaya salad is the best in Bahrain well balanced. Tum yum soup was delicious 🤤 and wanton shrimp was nice crispy and light not too oily. Pah Thai shrimp was amazing full of flavor. The sticky rice mango was not my personal favorite but my friend liked it a lot. The staff are very friendly and service was super fast

Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. The menu prices were unreasonably high, our bill could have easily covered a good meal for four in other places. To make matters worse, there was a fly flying around inside the restaurant, which already set a poor impression for hygiene. Service was also lacking. The waitress struggled to communicate in English and, instead of trying to assist, responded rudely when I simply asked where the washroom was. As for the food: • The Tomyum was overly sour. • The sizzling dish was not worth its steep price. • One of the dishes even had a foul smell I couldn’t identify, which made it very unappetizing. Overall, it was an unpleasant dining experience. There are definitely better Thai restaurants in Bahrain offering better food, cleaner spaces, friendlier service, and more reasonable prices. I would not recommend this place.

Like others have mentioned, parking can be a bit rough but the food is delicious and served in a simple no frills setting. Come by if you’re in the area. Everything I’ve tried here is yummy and prices are on par with the other Thai restaurants in the surrounding neighborhoods.

I ordered food from Banana Leaf yesterday, including the steamed vegetable spring rolls. Unlike the neatly prepared ones I've had at Vietnamese and Thai restaurants—with lightly steamed veggies and a proper dipping sauce—these were disappointing. The roll was packed with raw, roughly chopped cabbage and carrot, similar to a shawarma side, wrapped in a sticky layer and crammed into a box. I have never seen fresg mint leaves and raw cabbage with no taste wrapped.It was hard to separate, messy, and inedible. To top it off, they served it with an overly sweet bottled sauce and charged over 3 5 BHD, which felt completely unjustified. The papaya salad spices were all added together not fiven separately. It was too disappointing.

Tom Yum soup with shrimp, was tried and it was good. The place is clean and the service is excellent.

We went to Sangeeta's for dinner yesterday, We were craving some veggie food, so we ordered two North Indian Thalis based on the waiter's recommendation. The Thali had Sweet Corn Soup, Dal Curry, Mixed Veg Curry, Veg Briyani, Cauliflower Manchurain Dry, Gulab Jamoon, Raita, Salad, and Lassi. Honestly, the dishes were just okay. The Mixed Veg Curry and Dal Curry were way too spicy, the Cauliflower Manchurain was tasty but super oily, and the Veg Briyani was the only decent dish. Overall, the North Indian Thali was a bit of a let down. We've definitely had better ones before.

Sangeetha Restaurant serves very tasty and authentic South Indian food. It’s pure vegetarian, and every dish is absolutely delicious! The flavors are spot on, and the quality is consistent. A great place for anyone looking to enjoy fresh and satisfying vegetarian meals. Highly recommended!

It's a great option for anyone looking for delicious South Indian vegetarian food in Manama. They offer a wide variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. One of the best vegetarian restaurants in Gudaibiya. Place is clean and food is awesome. Staff attitude towards customers can be improved. They also sell sweets but little bit higher price. Must try are sambar Idli, poori channa.

Ordered from this place after a very long time and it was very disappointing. The price is gone high compared to the portion size and quality. Ordered the combo - the rice was dry like it had been in the fridge since days, the veg manchurian used to be really good but now it is just flour dumplings and the sauce is watery, the "paneer" chilly was coated in flour also. They have already closed other branches and if this how they continue, this will close soon also.

Charcoal grill is a people's favorite for Pan-Asian food in Bahrain. They've been known for their great quality in food with affordable prizes to cater to everyone. That is NO LONGER the case. Yes, their food is still delicious, and with some work could be much better. Their service is terrible. The manager is here right as I type. Being the manager and only a few people sitting here for dinner, you'd expect him to check up on you, ask you for comments on the food. Nothing. You have to point out to him to get his attention so you can order your food. And even after requesting the waiter to have your food done a specific way, he refuses to do so and walks away while you're talking. What's with the attitude? Well, the rating would've been much higher had the waiter and manager had the decency to conversation with their customers. On the opposite table, the family is upset as well because they ordered a shrimp dish but was given chicken instead. This shows you how the staff here doesn't know how good service can bring in more customers and much appreciation. It's a shame really.

Very tasty food! We ordered the Sizzling Beef Chilli Platter and the Dim Sim Meal for a family of 4 to share. Enjoyed every bite. The highlight are their dumplings. I am not a huge fan of dumplings but they definitely changed my mind about them. The only thing I would suggest is probably installing QR codes to place orders as they seemed low on staff to take orders.

Its a friendly place to have breakfast with family. I would suggest going early in the morning for peaceful space. The food was okay. Just a one time visit. The karak wasn’t to my expectations. It was like water even after asking them to custom it.

This is a great place for breakfast/lunch while walking the souq. They have very traditional items such as Balaleet: a traditional sweet and savory Bahraini dish. It traditionally consists of vermicelli sweetened with sugar, cardamom, rose water and saffron, served with an egg omelette. Sometimes it comes with sautéed onions or potatoes. It's located at Bab al Bahrain in a Manama souq. This place holds a very significant value in Bahraini traditionan. The restaurant itself is in open space of the souq which further enhance the dining experience. It's a must try to taste some traditional dishes at an affordable price.

Outstanding cuisine at one of the oldest and most traditional eateries in Bahrain. I had the mixed grill, it was outstanding and served with plenty of veg. Very healthy. Lots of pictures of Bahrain from times past make you feel as if you're eating in a special place. The food is cooked in front of you so you know it's fresh.

The place is spacious. The staff are friendly and service was fast. There are many parking slots around the restaurant. The pruces were readonable. The menu is diverse and serves beef, chicken, mutton and fish grills, cooked vegetables, salwds, shawarma, pastries, burgers,pizza, noodles and pasta, broasted chicken and different dishes of rice, juice and soda drinks.

The affordability of Al Shoala is one of the best qualities of this grill restaurant. The Roussi and other sandwiches that are available in large sizes (like the chicken or meat shawarma sarokh / صاروخ (sarukh)), those sandwiches can keep you full for the rest of the day! It’s literally a foot long! Parking is limited with street parking only. Everything was delicious!

Love the food and the staff are amazing...but the place just a bit hard if you're a solo woman because of the customers (men)..unless you know how to ignore and just enjoy the amazing Lamb chops and the grape juice..haha..but all is all it was an amazing experience..💜

The food were amazing and you can feel the real taste of thai food. Place is ok, Price are reasonable, love the tom yum soup, comes with many seafood and enough for 2-4 person (recommend to have with rice). Raw shrimp salad is a little be salty but still good. Lemon ice tea is a must! Pad Thai is a little bit sweet but still love it. Overall, food are amazing.

Nice Thai restaurant food wise. If you want hygiene or cleanliness then you might want to give it a miss. If you don't mind those things than I recommend it. The food is one of the best in Bahrain for original Thai. Their pork noodle soup with blood is the best I've had in Bahrain (think of Filipino Dinuguan but as a soup and without the pig insides, lol) and their pork basil and chili is nice also. I also recommend their Tum Yum soup. The one in Manama has better food than their branch in Hoora but Hoora is cleaner.

I went to this restaurant first time. It was recommanded by a friend of mine and I was not deceived. The restaurant is clean and looks fine. The food is typical indian and is tasty. The service was also very good. The prices are fair. I will come back.

This is my second visit to Central Cafe in 3 years. Honestly I had avoided the place since I didnt like the taste at first try. However this second visit has somewhat changed my opinion about the cafe. Had Paneer Fried Rice 🔥, Aloo Palak, Chapathi and Gulab Jamun 🔥 for lunch and should say it was all good. Will come back another day for more.

Best place for vegetarian foods...

We visited this Lebanese restaurant yesterday for a small office get-together with around 12 people. The ambiance was pleasant and ideal for gatherings. The highlight of our visit was definitely the food — it was excellent! The mixed grill, in particular, was outstanding and full of authentic flavors. However, the biggest letdown was the service. From the moment we entered until we left, the service experience was very disappointing. While ordering, we requested a few starters and main courses. Shockingly, before we could even order desserts, the staff member taking our order closed the menu abruptly — quite rude and unprofessional. During serving, it only got worse. We had ordered salads, rice, and grill items. But instead of following a proper serving sequence, they started by serving the rice and brought the mixed grill last — which makes no sense in a traditional dining flow. It’s clear the staff lacks basic hospitality training. I strongly urge the management to invest in staff training and service etiquette. The quality of food deserves better service. Without urgent improvement, such poor customer experience could drive even a great restaurant towards closure.

Vine leaves tasted perfectly fine. Spaghetti bolognese needs a bit work from chef to work upon. Mutton kababs tasted super delicious just like every time. Service was great. Definitely visiting again

I visited Lebanese Restaurant yesterday and had a mixed experience. The service was attentive and friendly, which was a definite plus. However, there was a noticeable lack of time management, leading to delays. The food quality was impressive, with delicious flavors and presentation. However, I felt that the portion sizes were a bit small considering the prices. Overall, Lebanese has potential but needs to work on their timing and quantity. Would I return? Yes, to try more of their dishes, but hoping for improvements.

Really rich menu, but taste-wise there is room for improvement. We took baba ganoush, garlic naan and yoghurt with cucumber. Baba ganoush was not the best I had. As main courses: pasta with beshamel (no distinctive taste) and irani kebap (ok). We ordered pomegranate and pineapple juices to drink. All were fresh with no sugar added (great). Our waiter took good care of us.

After its been renovated I've visited it first time today and I was really satisfied with the quantity and quality of the food. See attached pics. Prices are good and ambience n service is excellent. Would love to visit for buffet which is in evening. They have 3 levels of parking too. Must visit here is recommended if you love grills and other lebanese cuisine. We had their mix grill, chicken Pasta, spring rolls veg, chicken arayes and umm aali.

Not too thrilled. Portions are quite small for what they charge. We ordered fries along with our meals the fries were like a smaller than a small size and they charge more than other places . Tikka sandwiches extremely dry . No taste . Salad was served on a flat plate( small flat plate, no presentation whatsoever ) with no dressing not even olive oil. Waiters were not very happy and it showed in the way they served customers. In my opinion way over priced for nothing .they need to work on their customer service skills and improve their food as it was tasteless , dry etc or they need to lower their prices. In any case the food is not value for money , so sorry to say. The management should really review their service and what is being offered to customers.

Traditional rice resturant which offer many varieties, preferably for take away and delivery as the atmosphere not well maintained, However they have tables for dine in and on the floor dining (traditional style). Recommending mandi rice as it is their top seller. Every order comes with complimentary chicken soup if it was dine in.

It was a good experience. We visit Bushido Seef twice and it offers an excellent dining experience with a wonderful ambiance that really sets the mood. We especially enjoyed the unlimited sushi, it was fresh, flavorful, and had a great variety. The matcha ice cream was a delightful surprise and the perfect way to end the meal. While the meat we ordered was slightly overcooked, the overall quality of the food and atmosphere made up for it. A great spot for sushi lovers and anyone looking to enjoy a memorable evening!

I went to Bushido tonight and honestly, it was such a great experience. The evening was super fun, and the atmosphere was so good. I loved the live music band it really added a special vibe to the night. The food was amazing, especially if you’re into sushi; everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. and the drinks were amazing, the place itself looks beautiful, with a design that mixes elegance and authentic Japanese style. it’s the kind of spot you’ll want to come back to. The food is consistently delicious, with beautifully presented dishes and a wide variety of flavors. We especially love the Sushi Madness on Wednesdays — all-you-can-eat sushi is a dream! WORST SERVICE EVER! My family and I are the type of people who don’t complain even though we aren’t satisfied with the food and services that we have and this is the very first time I will raise a complaint about our experience in Pong’s Thai Restaurant. The service that we had today was WORSE AND AWFUL and it should be addressed! It is not the same management as before. There is no Thai Server or Chef. It is now all Indians. My family had dinner in Pong’s Thai Restaurant around 5:40 pm ( June 25, 2024, Tuesday ). The Indian Server took our orders which are the usual favorites papaya salad, green curry chicken, and pad thai noodles. The server was very lazy and you could see in his Aura that he didn’t like what his doing and taking orders by his body language, tone of voice, and the way he communicated with us. At first, we didn’t mind it, and when he asked us about our drinks we ordered Thai Milk Tea or Iced Milk Tea and he chuckled and said “It’s all the same”. I asked him to make it Less Ice as the usual order. When the orders arrived we noticed that the portions of the order were less than before. When we tried to mix the milk tea very well and tasted it, it was very sweet like we zipped the sugar syrup directly in the bottle. We called the attention of the server and asked him politely to give us some ice and milk to lessen the sweetness of the milk tea. However, it was still the same, the server told us that they used the same ingredients and there was nothing he could do about it. We let the ice melt and mixed it very well but still, we could not drink it at all because of the sweetness. My sister came to the cashier to bring her drink and asked him politely to do something about our drinks because we could not drink it. Instead of helping us and fixing the issue the server even blamed us that we should inform him in the first place to make it less sweet. Again we are regular customers and we know the taste of what we’ve ordered. It caught my attention that the Indian server didn’t want to do anything which is why me and my brother came together to explain to him and fix the issue. THE WORST PART HE DID was he took my sister's milk tea and walked out then he angrily threw the milk tea in the garbage in front of us. He said “I will remove it from your bill” We asked him how about the other drink? He said “What I will do? This was already made and this is not my fault” and still he doesn’t want to do anything about it. We asked him again politely if he could not remove it from our bill and then make a new one which is less sweet. He took the drinks and kept them inside the kitchen and when he gave us what we requested it was still the same drink he just added some Literally Tea with floating Tea Leaves. We were fed up with his behavior of being close-minded and rude which is why even though we were not finished eating we asked for the bill and paid then left. WE FEEL SORRY FOR THE OWNER OF THE RESTAURANT THAT HIS STAFF DESTROYING THE GOOD RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND THE BUSINESS. Pong’s Thai Restaurant NEVER AGAIN! And I will definitely inform all my friends and family not to visit your restaurant again!

I lived in Thailand for 6 years and this restaurant reminded me of the culture and the memories. Great food, lovely staff and nice ambience. They gave us free sushi, so happy to visit this place.

Great food, relaxed ambience, fair pricing and good location in Hoora just after Giden Sands and BYC. This place is a no credit card transaction restaurant though and has limited parking.

Good taste, fair prices. What we didn't like is that once we went there all the way from Budaiya at around 2:30pm and the shutter was down. There was no note saying whether it was a temporary or permanent closure.

Poor service and very bad family dining experience. The appetizers were served without a side plate and when request we had to wait for another 5 mins and by the time the bread is cold where the bread is not a complimentary and wasn’t enough to eat with appetizers. Water was served and had to again request for glass, they gave the coke cup to serve water which gave us a clear image that is is a wrong place to dine. While placing the order the they said 15mins and we literally had to wait with half portion left with appetizers. The main course was served after waiting for long time. Food was average and service since there is no zero, I gave 1.

I recently visited ISFAHANI Restaurant, and I have just one word: WOW! From the moment I walked in, everything felt perfect. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with just the right blend of comfort and elegance. Mediocre at best. Very small interior space, was full of smoke when we arrived. Zero ventilation inside. The food itself was some of the worst thai I have ever tried. Most of it seemed not fresh and the taste was poor.

The interiors feel a bit dated. As an Indian myself, I didn’t find the food to be as flavorful as I’m used to. It’s clearly catering to the Arab and western palate. All the food was okay at best. The samosa chat was just okay, the sauces weren’t very flavorful. The little amuse-bouche served at the beginning was a savory lentil patty with chickpeas, I found this to be very dry. The drinks were excellent and catered to my preference. The grilled paneer agin was just okay. It looked a big undergrilled as well. The garlic naan was also underwhelming. The jalebi milk cake dessert was good but very sweet, but I believe that’s by design as jalebis are very sweet. Overall, I was not impressed as I was looking forward to this for a long time. I was expecting elevated Indian cuisine but found it to be a watered down version of it. I would not return. The staff and service were the only great parts of the experience.

Great experience at the Gulf Hotel in Bahrain. Ate the Friday Brunch in Al Waha restaurant. Without adult beverages it was 25BHD ($66.30). Food is good and you can certainly get your money’s worth if you’re hungry. For all light eaters I would not get the buffet. I did the seafood and sushi. It was good. The soy sauce was very very salty. Not sure if they had a low sodium version. Worth the ask. There’s a live cooking stating where you can have any protein cooked to order. Unfortunately did not try that. Desert was impressive. Wasn’t able to try everything there. Tummy was at full capacity. Really enjoyed the music but can be loud to those with noise sensitivities. Great place to eat and get ready for the evening and best part about it is that you would not be hungry the rest of the day (hello intermittent fasting). The wait staff I had was amazing. I wish I knew her name but shout out to her. She’s amazing.

Good Chinese restaurant in Bahrain, at Gulf hotel. The place is small and neat. The staff is very friendly and the service was really very good. The food was very good in some dishes, not all. The Singapore noodles wasn’t the best, too much spices and the taste was very strong. The garlic rice, I had better in other places. But the spring rolls, the crispy beef, the dumplings, and the chicken with lemon sauce were so yummy, not to forget their ice tea which was really good. I strongly recommend the place but you need reservation.

Our experience here was a mixed bag of great food and slow, though well-intentioned, service. We walked in during Eid without a booking to a half-empty restaurant. The staff were truly friendly and warm, and it was clear they wanted to be helpful. However, their attention was almost too much at times, with five different people stopping by our table during the meal. Yet, when we brought up that our order is late, it was a problem they were unable to resolve. It took them sometime to finally serve us. What's a Chinese restaurant waiter's favorite dish? This Chinese restaurant at the Gulf Hotel has a really good reputation - decided to give it a go this time instead of the Thai, which is closed indefinitely for refurbishment. Nice place inside, accessed along some sort of annex skywalk - very attentive staff spotted us coming and opened door. Smallish restaurant inside, no more than 100 covers, with private dining room to the left as you enter. Not too busy on a Monday night, so seated straight away. Big menu with a lot of choice - ordered the mixed platter to start. A superb concoction - two each of spring rolls, wontons, battered prawns and minced prawn on toast. The toast was fat and tasty. Lovely. Served with a range of Chinese condiments, including a very dark and spicy sauce, the name of which remains a mystery. For a main, crispy fried chilli beef - my go-to - this beef was high quality and the portion was huge. I could have shared this portion of beef easily. Lovely falvour though, although not that spicy. Schoolboy error with the rice - ordered the chicken fired rice but it turned out to be big enough for four, although well priced. Couldn’t finish this. Also it had sweetcorn in, which I cannot abide 😃For me, sweetcorn and peas are two things that simply do not belong in rice and I will not change my mind about that. Anyway, overall, this was a lovely food experience and I would definitely eat here again, but I would have plain rice. There were several dishes on the menu I would be interested in trying. The beer on this occasion was Tsingtao, from Qingdao - this is an appropriate beer for a Chinese restaurant. I approve.

This place really care about their food quality. One of my favorite places in Bahrain. Pricey though and can get a bit crowded. I don't recommend the truffle omelet since I tasted no truffle. The dinner menu is much better than going for breakfast.

We went to My Café for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. It's a beautiful café with a pleasant atmosphere and delicious dishes. The seating arrangement makes every table feel private and cozy, and the staff are friendly and properly attentive. Our French Toast was delicious and the Trio of Avocado with eggs was superb. The prices are more than fair for the excellent quality.

A very chic place to enjoy a lovely lunch. It has a cool atmosphere in a very enticing decor with lights entering the place from everywhere, really fresh. The food is awesome whether it’s a starter, salad, dessert or main course and amazingly presented. The only -ve point is the portions, quite on the lower side considering the taste of the food!

The staff are super amazing, very welcoming and professional. The place ambiance is chilled and highly recommended for breakfast. The cleanliness of the amenities, the freshness of the food, the ambiance and decor, the music, everything is pristine and beyond reproach. We love having breakfast here. Their bread is freshly baked. Their coffee is superb. I really can go on and on. I would like to thank Sridhar, Milan, and the entire staff for being so professional and kind and helpful especially Eziel who we just love for her bubbly personality and warm smile. the atmosphere was lovely,, theres a beautiful fountain and we visited during the day, so it was pleasantly cool. The hummus was tasty, the maneesh wasn’t anything extraordinary, it was still decent. The chocolate cake was genuinely good, though the surprise was unfortunately spoiled when a staff member asked my friend which cake she had ordered, even though she had already pointed it out before we were seated. Still, the staff were overall very friendly and welcoming.

Tala has artistically succeeded in FUSING flavours to create a fine dining experience you won’t forget… A very humble top notch local chef you won’t find elsewhere. This is to adress Ms Aruba Nadeem ( so called owner of this restaurant) Yes its true that your restaurant is not clean, your restaurant includes dirt around with some dead cockroaches and the table or what whatever it is where the serving plates has been kept, you should go there with your eyes open and watch out for every single detail of cleanliness and if you say its clean then sorry we don’t belong to this category of humans. And I believe we have the right to post which we think people should know before coming to this restaurant. Honestly, what’s the use of eating so called delicious food in this atmosphere where your eyes are not comfortable?

Very bad experience. This is the second time I went here with a guest. Ordered karahi. Prices are crazy expensive compare to its quality. 7 bd for half kg mutton. That also tasted burnt, and the bread(roti) was so hard. Veg was okay. Both of my guest had stomach issues the following night after eating food from here. Never visiting this place again. The management should look into it properly. Staff was nice though.

For me, it’s second best Pakistani restaurant in Bahrain while a first choice in some dishes. Their mayo roll paratha, tawa qeema and nehari are the best one in the town, you can find variety of daal types in a reasonable amount, grills are not the best ones but are very good, koyla Karahi is yummy, taka tak is the only option available in Bahrain (I guess), chicken biryani is the second best and they also have home like chappatis. Overall, you should try if you are agree on spending some extra bucks for getting the best taste. I will give 3/5 overall due to following reasons, 1) They ONLY accept cash which is really headache if you try to pay through other meal. Nearest ATM is BBK (next to Zamil Tower) 2) You will find issues in finding the parking. 3) It’s overpriced (but in my opinion, it justifies their taste) 4) they really need to invest on their interior decor.

Restaurant with cockroaches, average food taste, dirty area where serving plates have kept, damaged furniture and fixtures with extremely poor management, even the name board out is fully destroyed. Menu prices seems like dining in fancy restaurant, where the reality is you are sitting in a restaurant located in village with uneducated management. Food is average but tbh no one knows where and how the food is being prepared, possibility that cockroaches watching the cooking show as well.

Visited the place due to good google reviews, the food was average, nahari was okayish not extraordinary, Bihari kabab was also okay not too good not too bad. If you have taste buds to match for Karachi style nahari and Bihari boti this is not the place. The chicken handi was good. The prices are way to high as compared to quantity Overall the not worth the money spent If they lower the prices as other Pakistani restaurants it will justify to spend at this place. The seating was good and the servers were okay.

A very very poor visitor in terms of service and quality, would not return. Didn't have an item but couldn't take it off bill which was weird. Staff were not knowledgeable at all. Chicken on bone was all bone and mainly inedible, the sauce was nice though to be fair

We were looking to try some Filipino cuisine, so we sought recommendations from a few friends, and they suggested Bahay Kubo. We visited the restaurant for dinner and we started by ordering Lumpiang Shanghai Chicken (BD2.000) and Pork BBQ Skewers (BD1.600). For our main courses, we opted for Adobe Rice Chicken (BD2.200) and Pancit Canton Chicken (BD2.600). To conclude our delightful meal on a sweet note, we indulged in the delectable Leche Flan (BD2.200). Each dish we savoured was truly exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

Our favorite Filipino Restaurant in Manama, Bahrain. Lechon belly was exceptional. The pancit was citrusy with crisp vegetables, the adobo was so flavourful, the lumpia was tasty. Of all the Filipino restaurants in town that has opened up, I would say this one tops it all. If you crave for Native Filipino dish, this is the right place for you to explore.

If you are looking for an authentic Filipino cuisine that will make yourself feel at home, I believe this is one of the best here in Bahrain. The food is really delicious, it will make you feel happy. It is my first time definitely not the last. What you will spend is actually worth it. I recommend their Daing na Bangus and Sinigang.

Bahrain Bay Kitchen is the main restaurant located on the ground floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay. The restaurant is very spacious, with a refined and elegant interior. We visited for the Christmas dinner buffet, which offered an impressive variety of dishes, most of them were delicious. The seafood, in particular, was very fresh, and the ice cream was also excellent. Although it was quite crowded due to the holiday, the food was constantly replenished, and the staff provided great service throughout. It's been a while since our visit, so things may have changed, but personally, it was a very satisfying dinner buffet experience.

Outstanding, what an experience. The food is amazing, and the variety.... You can not imagine. There are dishesh from all around the world. Service is so amable and attent. The live music is perfect. The place is really beautiful, and the sights are worthy.

Incredible brunch experience. The food variety/choices is almost too much but I can’t complain because there’s something for everyone. Prices are high but if you love to eat, you can eat your moneys worth with sushi, prime rib, and lamb. Hit up the high value items first and never look back!

We came to this restaurant expecting a top-tier dining experience, but what we got was loud, chaotic, and frankly, unacceptable for any establishment – let alone one claiming to be 5-star. One table of guests was drinking heavily, singing loudly, and making obnoxious noises that echoed through the entire dining area. It felt more like a bar gone wild than a fine dining restaurant. The worst part? The staff did absolutely nothing to calm the situation. In fact, they seemed to find it amusing and even encouraged the group by laughing along and lingering near their table. Many guests, including us, were visibly uncomfortable. We couldn't enjoy our food, conversation was impossible, and the whole atmosphere was ruined. After complaining, we expected at least some form of action, but there was none. Not even an apology. Eventually, we had to leave early. For the price we paid and the reputation this place tries to uphold, the experience was a total letdown. I hope management seriously reconsiders how they handle disruptive customers and how their staff contributes to the experience. Until then, I won’t be recommending this place to anyone looking for a peaceful or refined evening out.

Deep sigh, I don't even know where to start. I have been to a few brunches but there is none quite like the Friday Brunch at Bahrain Bay Kitchen. The layout of the variety of cuisines was perfect, from the moment you enter the restaurant you feel the appreciation from staff. Even the manager and his director were greeting guests and ensuring all was well. The service was top notch and Samuel (who served us drinks) was awesome, he was very jovial! When I tell you that you get things done to your desire, believe me. I love seafood and I wanted my lobsters and shrimp hot and at my request, I got just that. How could I forget....you get to make your own Gin & Tonic also. The Arabic Sweets were my favourite desserts and though I am not a fan of red meat I enjoyed their soft and juicy texture. Last but by no means least I just want to say that our most favourite staff is Sal from concierge 😍

It's the second time we have had a workshop / corporate meeting at the Four Seasons Bahrain Bay - and literally I've been looking forward to the lunch the most. The buffet and service of Bahrain Bay Kitchen are outstanding, I wish I was hungry enough to try it all: Salads, sushi, freshly prepared dishes, Asian and continental... Really, too good to be true for a lunch selection. The waiters and chefs are very friendly and dedicated, I almost feel guilty being looked after in such a welcoming manner.

Maybe a daytime view can be better. Food is good. Menu items are variants but several of them were not available. Really good place with authentic Bahraini food. Had my breakfast there. They are located within a natural reserve park “محمية طبيعية". The restaurant is facing a lagoon. Had a nice time and it wasn’t crowded. The staff is super nice and will try to help you finding the suitable order. The basic freej tray is good but I recommend you to pick separately.

Breakfast - very varied menu. Traditional cuisine. Very tasty dishes, nicely presented, delicious karak! A wonderful, atmospheric restaurant! As for dinner, it was nothing special. A vegetarian friend had a problem choosing something from the menu. She finally got the soup. A restaurant located in such a beautiful place, with such a beautiful decor should attract crowds. And it is not. The restaurant is good but at these prices there are other places to eat just as good if not better. To improve the menu and service usability.

But step inside, and the "authentic" vibe feels more like a costume drama set. Plastic flowers scream "faux-tradition" louder than any oud music, and the decor piles it on a bit thick. The food? Sadly, it doesn't fare much better. Nothing on our table truly sparked excitement. Every dish felt generic, a touristy echo of Bahraini flavors rather than the real deal. Sure, the service was friendly (even when they forgot one of our orders, oops!), but that alone can't save the day. Look, for a quick snap to send back home, Freej might tickle the fancy. After all, the views are undeniably pretty. But if you're seeking genuine Bahraini flavors, let this one be a scenic pit stop, not your culinary destination. This island's bursting with authentic gems – no need to settle for plastic palms and forgettable bites.

The ambience was 10/10. Been on my bucket list for a while now. The food was nothing much to mention especially considering the price point. But what really disappointed us was the service.it took em 45 mins to bring us the food and when we asked one of them mentioned it was cause the kitchen was small. Another one mentioned the chicken had to be marinated. If it was busy we could understand but there were barely 3-4 tables and the waiter was arguing with us telling us the chicken takes a while to cook like bruh this ain’t our first time visiting a restaurant. Safe to say will not be coming here again which is sad considering how beautiful the ambience was.

If you’re tired of the fancy, expensive and loud brunches around town, Verandah is the right place for you! It’s simple, quiet and no frills. This 5BD brunch provides an all you can eat rotating menu each weekend and the food was actually really delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and reminds me of the 90’s all you can eat places back in the states such as Hometown Buffet, Cici, Soup Plantation and Pizza Hut (back when they were a restaurant and had brunch).

The restaurant have variety menu but the main dishes that I like more are the fish & chips and chicken kiev. They have good mezze starter as well. The thing that I did not like is the little shisha smell although I sit in the non smoking area.

I and the love of my life celebrated our wedding reception in this little niche of a restaurant this 2020. If you are looking for rustic, garden scenery you must visit this place. The owner of the place has a huge collection of vintage pieces that adds warmth and character to the restaurant. It feels very homey yet very elegant. The food that was catered was also wonderful. We really enjoyed all the cuisines we chose ( I especially liked the pasta). Mr.Ahmed and Ms.Melanie has been amazing during our preparations. They were very hands on and very accomodating. The staff also helped us alot during the prepation and after. We are forever thankful for the memories we have made there.

I had the pleasure of dining at Darseen Bahrain, located inside the Bahrain National Museum, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. The eggs and tomato dish, in particular, was a highlight—rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring a smooth dining experience. The atmosphere was truly unique, offering a serene view from inside the museum, adding an extra layer of cultural elegance. However, I encountered an issue with the Entertainer app during my visit. While I have been using the Entertainer for years and have enjoyed many discounts, this time, the coupon for my meal was refused. After a polite conversation with the support team, it became clear that the merchant’s menu classified the item I ordered as a breakfast item, which made the coupon ineligible. Although I appreciate the professionalism of the Entertainer support team, the situation still left me disappointed as it took away from the joy of my dining experience. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would definitely recommend Darseen for anyone looking for delicious food and a great atmosphere, especially for those wanting to explore a bit of Bahrain's cultural heritage alongside their meal.

My friends and I had fun in here, after venturing the National Museum, it is a nice place to chill and enjoy a cup of karak or hot chocolate. You can also enjoy a good view outdoors.

We really liked this great little place! Probably one of our favorite meals in Bahrain. The menu is big enough to have a lot of things I'd like to try but not so big that there's everything and you get suspicious that they can do any of it well. I really liked the lemonades. We had rose lemonade and cinnamon lemonade and they were both wonderful! The curly fries were really good, much better than you expect, and the sambuusa roll was excellent and the ginger sambuusa appetizer was also great. The servers were terribly quick and good and the terrace is really nice as a setting.

This cafe has a very beautiful outdoor space with great scenery. You can have a look at the greenery and the great sea view. At night, you can also see the lights from the high-rise buildings of Juffair. Sitting outside can give you a sense of tranquility. In terms of food, there were limited options on the menu especially when it comes to desserts. The samosa, however, tasted very normal for me. On the other hand, the service was great.

As a regular Korean food consumer at a global scale, by far the worst food quality and tasteless food my family had. All dishes including unlimited menu + ala carte dishes were horrible! Raw meat served for grill was in black color (pork & beef) indicating meat wasn’t close to fresh and worst quality meat served. Upon grill, it stinked. Sides vege were tasteless. All food including soups had super high contain MSG. Draught Beer line were not cleaned on regular basis. My first and last visit to this restaurant.

Although the decor is a bit out dated, the food and service was amazing. And it was very reasonably priced. Also very easy to get to in a congested area of Bahrain. I would recommend this place to anyone.

This is my 6th or 7th visit visit to this restaurant, very delicious tom yum soup,we tried theirs pork barbecue(genuine),nice place to spend dinner or lunch with your family. Today we tried theirs shrimps in white sauce ,eel and cold soju.

Went on a Thursday afternoon for the unlimited pork so it was quite empty. My korean wife and I were satisfied with the 삼겹살 (pork belly), beverages, and 반찬 (side dishes). A little bit annoying that they have some unfavorable rules but I guess because of previous experiences. The staff was friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable.

Food was just ok a bit on the bland side. Tteokbokki was okay but needs more flavor and a bit of spiciness. Korean fried chicken was not juicy, probably not well marinated or poor quality chicken. Sauce “sweet spicy” was not properly done. Kimchi rice was very bland. Overall not recommended.

This is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Bahrain - a real hidden gem. The food selection is amazing and the owners and staff are friendly, fast and attentive. Dudong was absolutely impressive in briefing us and delivering the various dishes which were enthralling and extremely tasty and well presented, fresh and high quality. This is an Aladdins cave of culinary treats that should not be missed. No trip to Adliya is complete without visiting Da Rae Jung - Bahrain’s leading Korean restaurant. Great Korean food. We had engineers visiting from Taiwan and they spotted the place on the way, we stopped had lunch and that was the first time I tried Korean. The Taiwan engineers said “this is original Korean food at its best”, I agree. Food is great place is very nice and comfortable, service is always always good. I been to this place about 10 times with the family. Kids friendly staff, and food. Bibimbab and tom yom soup are a must try.

We decided to try the new Saravana Bhavan in Dana Mall for lunch, arriving around 1 to 1:30 p.m., which was the perfect time for a meal. The place had a decent crowd, and they opened a new section to accommodate us. Within a few minutes, the dining area filled up, which seemed like a positive sign. We checked the menu and opted for the special lunch thali. The thali included puri, sambar, yogurt, a variety of vegetable curries, a sweet dish, and plain white rice. When the food arrived, the puri was quite good. However, the sambar was disappointing—it was watery, lacked flavor, and seemed to be missing sambar powder. The vegetable curries were decent, but the sweet dish was a major letdown. It appeared to be a dry fruit-based dessert, but the flavor was completely out of place with the rest of the meal, to the point that I couldn’t eat it and set it aside. The dining experience was further marred by confusion at the payment counter. Multiple waiters approached us, and it wasn’t clear who was responsible for managing the bill. We stood there for about five minutes, unsure of what to do, until someone finally came over, confirmed our order, and asked if we’d had water. Overall, while the meal had a few good elements, there’s significant room for improvement. The staff seemed overwhelmed, which might be attributed to the restaurant being newly opened. With better organization and some tweaks to the thali offerings, the experience could be much better. Next time, I’d like to try their dosas, as I’ve heard great things about them.

The food and the service was great! Every chef and server was incredibly kind and attentive. The restaurant was also spotless, making our experience even more enjoyable. My mom, sister, and I had a wonderful time on our first visit to Saravana Bhavan in Dana Mall. Keep up the great work—we’ll definitely be back!

Food was good. The service was too bad, even though they have many staff nobody is taking care of the customers here. Sometimes we need to wait for a long time and remind them, also the waiter is not sure about the order we told him and served whatever they like🙄. At least they should have shown their brand value in the customer service.

The second time that I have been told after 15 minutes wait that upma was never on the menu The first time it happened I let it slide and walked to Kailash parbat But the second time again !! Extraordinary good coffee and great and modern atmosphere in the old town. You wouldn't expect a cafe like this with such a great style. Very cool menu offering breakfast all day and a good variety of tea and coffee. Quiet and relaxing place where you can take a rest from sightseeing. Can only be recommended!

Lovely place, a design architecture in the heart of old Muharrak, which serves traditional bahreini food for a reasonable price. The lemon mint and karak chai were delicious and we also appreciated the food. A nice pause when you are visiting the old houses of Muharrak.

Fantastic coffee shop and restaurant, hidden away in the cultural district. Definitely make your way here for a drink and bite to eat. Freshly made in-house breads and other local delicacies. Recommend the breakfasts, mezze items and fresh juice - and coffee of course! Manakeesh, Nutella bread, grilled halloumi, falafel, kibbeh 🤤

We had the Silver package which has chicken sandwiches, egg sandwiches, Bahraini kebab, chicken samosa, falafel, chocolate moose cups, date cake, karak tea & Arabic gahwa ♥️♥️♥️ Their karak tea is one of the best I’ve had. And their Bahraini kebab is just perfect 👌🏼 Here are some details: BD6 for the silver high tea (this is the one we had) BD9.5 for the platinum high tea (Both are Bahraini inspired cuisine, the platinum has more options) One set to be shared by two people. Oh and for the High tea, you need to call them & book 1 day before as everything is made fresh from scratch.

I am very impressed (and obsessed) with Raazji’s vegan options. So inventive and creative what they have introduced to their menu. From the Bahraini breakfast to the mix grill, I think this place deserves more than a visit. Also, the manager always makes sure we’re taken care of. Will definitely be back.

It was my first time to dine in HotPot after a very long time. The ambiance was quiet and the restaurant itself is spacious and clean. We ordered Bistek Tagalog, Savory Chicken with Pansit, and Crab and Corn Soup The Bistek Tagalog is tender. Coupled with crunchy white onions that adds that familiar texture, the dish definitely requires more than a cup of rice The Savory Chicken with Pansit is amazing. Though it may be a bit salty for some, the pansit is worth the try. Every element of the pansit complements to a delectable homage of what pansit canton should be. The pansit is not overcooked and is robust with shrimp, liver and the usual carrots and cabbage. The chicken mimics Savory Chicken back home. The skin was crunchy and greets your tongue with that Chinese Five spice sensation that is nostalgic and appetizing. Though I felt that there are parts of the chicken that are bland but overall I would still recommend it Lastly the Halo Halo. I saw a comment below that is a bit negative, but still I gave it a try. And gladly I did. The leche flan on top screams of lime zest which is great for breaking the monotony of sweetness. The vanilla ice cream was luscious. It is really not that bad. It could have been better if there are other elements like langka or macapuno but this is perfect to satisfy a craving I think HotPot deserves a rediscovery for those who have forgotten or has gotten used to its presence in Bahrain. *I am no way affiliated to the restaurant. Unique cuisine from the Philippines that we thoroughly enjoyed. One star off for the inordinate delay in ordered food being served despite the fact that the restaurant was empty except our table. There appeared to be just one waitress performing both serving and cleaning functions at the same time. That was bizarre.

Naseef in Saada Muharraq is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for great food and a relaxing setting. The menu offers excellent dishes with generous portions, and the value for money is definitely one of the highlights. The ambiance is just perfect, especially with the beautiful sea view that makes the whole experience feel calm and refreshing. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the city center, so you’ll need to plan your trip. But once you’re there, it’s absolutely worth it.

Expensive and the menu items in my opinion are not worth the price. The resturant is neighbored by two great restaurants middle eastern style : Alameer and Palestine Nights. View is decent especially on the lower floor. Bear in mind the wash rooms are on the upper floor. Staff manager is a respectful gentleman The waiter who attended our table was not eager to serve and did not seem to be in the work mood

The place is very calm and lovely. Staff are available and kind. Food is brought quickly and well made and fresh. Prices are good for the place and service. Food and karak need little improvement, missing some spices touch but overall good and a place to return to.

This place offers a lovely ambience, attentive service, and delicious food. We visited for breakfast and were impressed by the generous portion sizes and excellent taste. A great spot to start your day with a satisfying meal.

No complaints here! As the other reviewers have mentioned, the view is amazing and during the winter you can sit outside. For the summer, the interior aesthestics are also very welcoming. The food is plentiful and super tasty. We ordered the foul and tomato eggs. The dishes came with traditional bread. Good price point since the views/atmosphere are included. I can see why this restaurant has over 1500+ reviews! If you have people visiting from out of town, take them here for the Bahraini breakfast experience! Expect some wait time during peak hours!

The experience at Planet donut was amazing with great hospitality, amazing customer satisfaction skills and custom service given by Ms Fatima as we wanted the chocolate sprinkled donuts but but only one sprinkled and rest chocolate donuts were available she instantly said that she can add sprinkles on the chocolate donut for us we were amaze by her suggestion and we’re very delighted as our needs were fulfilled without any second thought. The donut taste are amazing very light and delicious amazing job by the staff and the chefs Thank you

Love their sausage rolls, chicken pizza and caramel-topped cake. It's a very cosy spot with a few tables. It's quiet so you can enjoy a snack and a good cup of coffee in peace. It's on a nice street in Zinj which never really has major traffic and there are parking spots right in front of the store. Reasonable prices too!

Great little bakery. You can find some Filipino pastries and a collection of other stuff. Donuts aren't bad and fluffier than Dunkin Donut. You might not see everything out if you come right when they open though.

Truly the greatest bakery in the vicinity. Planet Donut & Bakery has received a facelift not too long ago and what a facelift it was! The bakery has some great seating and the parquet flooring elevates the beauty to a whole new level. These guys have one of the greatest bakery options from Pizzeria, Garlic Pizza, and many more though be forewarned if you're planning to buy them - these things are so good that the bakery is usually out of stock by 4pm. Donuts are cheaper than Krispy Kreme and, in my opinion, taste better than it! These Hol'n One donuts are my favourite Donuts in Bahrain. Not littered with calorie-induced toppings, just a nice little chocolate topping with a puffy delicious base. The bakery has many other products ranging from spanish bread, pastries, sandwiches, to birthday cakes. The last of which brings me back to pre-2015 era when the bakery used to send you a birthday discount coupon of 15% every year (great way to retain customers). Planet Donut & Bakery have amazing options for Birthday Cakes which are all delicious (yes I've tried them all, over the years). Greatest bakery in Bahrain? Maybe, but definitely in this town!

This place used to be good but with the increase of prices you have to ask for the price of each item especially if it not priced. Bought this chicken mayo thinking that the price will be as usual for 500 or 600 files, after I paid looked at the receipt and it was 1.260 + vat. Will never go to this place again 😒

I really enjoyed my visit to Fuddruckers! The atmosphere is cozy and peaceful , perfect for a relaxed meal. The burger was incredibly fresh and flavorful, definitely one of the best I’ve had. I also really appreciate the salad bar; it’s clean, well stocked, and offers a great variety. The only downside was the slow service , we had to wait a bit longer than expected for a simple refill. Still, the overall experience was great, and I’d definitely come back again.

Fuddruckers is one of my fav Burgers in Bahrain, I enjoyed the atmosphere last night, though weekend and very busy but the service was great and the food is delicious, having salad section which you can enjoy some of the vegetables what makes them special 😋 Will definitely come back again..

The taste and quality has gone down really really too much. Did not expect this much of a bland burger. It felt short of sauces and the star of the burger the meat did not shine. I finish 1lb alone and barely managed to eat half of it. Salad was better than the burger. Huge let down. The staff was excellent and courteous. Service was on point but sorry to say food did not do justice to their efforts. It was the go to for good burgers but sadly will have to look for other options

Being a Hyderabadi I was eager to give this place a try. Their biryani tastes good but not excellent. Unfortunately, It didn’t meet my expectations.

Deccan Biryani offers one of the most flavorful and authentic Hyderabadi-style biryanis in Bahrain. Very Disappointing and very bad I had a very disappointing experience at Deccan Biryani recently. The food we were served seemed like it was just reheated in a microwave, lacking freshness and proper taste. Shockingly, they don’t even provide free drinking water – you’re forced to purchase bottled water. The service was equally poor; the cashier was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Moreover, the menu clearly states that VAT is included in the prices, but we were charged extra VAT at the counter, which is misleading and feels like a scam. Overall, this place has pathetic customer service, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’ll be reporting this issue to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Bahrain.

We recently placed a takeaway order and unfortunately found the overall dining experience underwhelming. The biryani lacked the depth of flavor we were hoping for, it tasted more like plain rice than a traditional biryani. The Chicken 65 was decent in taste, though the color was a bit too red for our preference. Service could have been better, as it took quite a while for the food to arrive despite the place not being busy. The mutton biryani had an oily layer at the bottom, and that portion didn’t taste very pleasant. The mirchy gravy, which was an additional charge, was average and could have used more flavor. The raita didn’t feel fresh, and it lacked the cool, refreshing quality we usually enjoy. Overall, the meal didn’t meet our expectations, and we felt it didn’t offer good value for the price. We hope the team takes this feedback constructively to improve the experience for future diners.

I'm really disappointed with the experience at this restaurant. The service was poor, and it felt like the staff had no interest in treating customers with basic respect. We were ignored for long periods, and when we raised concerns, they were brushed off. Definitely not what you'd expect from a place that claims to care about its guests. I don’t understand why they cook with so much of chilli powder and masala in their food items . Even original Hyderabadi restaurants in Hyderabad doesn’t use that much spices . Something wrong with management. 1. Go to YouTube and learn how to cook butter chicken , you can’t sell any chicken curry as butter chicken 2. Biryani will not be packed with 80% masala rice and 10% non masala rice . Book cheap indigo flight and go to Hyderabad to learn how biryani is served

1.8 BHD for a plate of Biryani with ordinary ambience and poor service. Not worth it. It used to be 1.2 BHD that was fine. But recently they have increased their prices alot with 75% rice and 25% chicken I would not suggest this. Yes, if you are only concerned with food then you can have a go at it but overall, not impressive. Poor quality service, no Tissue boxes on the table when asked for tissue they cut the tissue roll used to dry hands and keep on table. That was the worst part. It would just cost 100 fils per customer or 50 fils per customer to keep tissue boxes but no.

Just for the name, it’s called Hyderabadi – but don’t be fooled. If you're looking to try authentic Hyderabadi biryani, I strongly advise you to avoid this restaurant. The experience was extremely disappointing – food is ok, but especially the behavior of the staff. They lack basic manners and clearly don’t know how to speak to customers respectfully. Worst experience overall.
