Thai restaurant
Banana Leaf is a modest street-side restaurant located in the heart of Qudaibiya, offering an authentic taste of Thailand's bustling street food scene. The menu features a variety of dishes including salads, appetizers, soups, and main courses. Despite its unassuming appearance, the restaurant serves genuine Thai cuisine at affordable prices. Customers recommend arriving early for dinner due to limited seating and suggest trying the tom yum soup.
If you, like me, adore Asian cuisine and know what a good tom kha should be, then this place is for you. shrimp, shashlik, soups - everything is incredibly delicious. we ate so much that we could hardly breathe. but the place is by no means budget. get your wallet ready. by the way, their toilet is outside on the side of the building - won't get lost! And don’t forget try Thai tea)
Mariia — Google review
The food was yummy. Papaya salad is the best in Bahrain well balanced. Tum yum soup was delicious 🤤 and wanton shrimp was nice crispy and light not too oily. Pah Thai shrimp was amazing full of flavor. The sticky rice mango was not my personal favorite but my friend liked it a lot. The staff are very friendly and service was super fast
Hanan S — Google review
Unfortunately, our visit was very disappointing. The menu prices were unreasonably high, our bill could have easily covered a good meal for four in other places. To make matters worse, there was a fly flying around inside the restaurant, which already set a poor impression for hygiene. Service was also lacking. The waitress struggled to communicate in English and, instead of trying to assist, responded rudely when I simply asked where the washroom was. As for the food: • The Tomyum was overly sour. • The sizzling dish was not worth its steep price. • One of the dishes even had a foul smell I couldn’t identify, which made it very unappetizing. Overall, it was an unpleasant dining experience. There are definitely better Thai restaurants in Bahrain offering better food, cleaner spaces, friendlier service, and more reasonable prices. I would not recommend this place.
Kath C — Google review
Like others have mentioned, parking can be a bit rough but the food is delicious and served in a simple no frills setting. Come by if you’re in the area. Everything I’ve tried here is yummy and prices are on par with the other Thai restaurants in the surrounding neighborhoods.

We visited banana leaf 2 days ago and it was calm, clean and comfy place for family friday lunch We ordered a appetizer, main course and drinks You must inform them if you do not wish spicy because most of the food came spicy Food was so delicious and came in large portions Thank you banana leaf team
Maria Q — Google review
I ordered food from Banana Leaf yesterday, including the steamed vegetable spring rolls. Unlike the neatly prepared ones I've had at Vietnamese and Thai restaurants—with lightly steamed veggies and a proper dipping sauce—these were disappointing. The roll was packed with raw, roughly chopped cabbage and carrot, similar to a shawarma side, wrapped in a sticky layer and crammed into a box. I have never seen fresg mint leaves and raw cabbage with no taste wrapped. It was hard to separate, messy, and inedible. To top it off, they served it with an overly sweet bottled sauce and charged over 3 5 BHD, which felt completely unjustified. The papaya salad spices were all added together not fiven separately. It was too disappointing.

Breakfast restaurant
Sangeetha Restaurant Delights W.L.L is a popular spot in Manama, offering delicious South Indian vegetarian food. Despite competition from other Indian restaurants, Sangeetha stands out for its thalis and a wide selection of homemade Indian sweets. The restaurant is known for its flavorful and perfectly cooked dishes, including the vegetarian tandoori and honey jangri dessert. With reasonable prices and attentive staff, it's a great option for breakfast, lunch, snacks, or dinner.
Outstanding South Indian Food in Bahrain! Been here many times, and it’s a must-visit whenever we’re in Bahrain! The food quality is top-notch. Had the best Masala Dosa, Medu Vada, Puri Bhaji, breakfast combo, filter coffee and tea—everything was fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Highly recommended!
Sumita M — Google review
We went to Sangeeta's for dinner yesterday, We were craving some veggie food, so we ordered two North Indian Thalis based on the waiter's recommendation. The Thali had Sweet Corn Soup, Dal Curry, Mixed Veg Curry, Veg Briyani, Cauliflower Manchurain Dry, Gulab Jamoon, Raita, Salad, and Lassi. Honestly, the dishes were just okay. The Mixed Veg Curry and Dal Curry were way too spicy, the Cauliflower Manchurain was tasty but super oily, and the Veg Briyani was the only decent dish. Overall, the North Indian Thali was a bit of a let down. We've definitely had better ones before.
Abish B — Google review
Sangeetha Restaurant serves very tasty and authentic South Indian food. It’s pure vegetarian, and every dish is absolutely delicious! The flavors are spot on, and the quality is consistent. A great place for anyone looking to enjoy fresh and satisfying vegetarian meals. Highly recommended!

Pan-Asian restaurant
Charcoal Grill is a charming and relaxed dining spot that has carved out a niche for itself with its delightful blend of Indian grills and Chinese cuisine. While the cozy atmosphere may not offer much room for dining in, it’s the perfect place to grab a quick takeout meal. The menu features an array of comfort foods, including mouthwatering chicken biryani, flavorful mutton rogan josh, and an assortment of grilled options like chicken, lamb, seafood, and vegetarian dishes.
I stopped in after seeing the signs on the window for 1.5 dinar momos. While the momos are now 1.8 dinars for chicken and 2.4 dinars for beef, each 6 piece order is still pretty tasty. I chose to dine in, so the momos were still warm when it was brought out to the table. Overall, not too bad!!
Tyrone — Google review
Ordered from this place after a very long time and it was very disappointing. The price is gone high compared to the portion size and quality. Ordered the combo - the rice was dry like it had been in the fridge since days, the veg manchurian used to be really good but now it is just flour dumplings and the sauce is watery, the "paneer" chilly was coated in flour also. They have already closed other branches and if this how they continue, this will close soon also.
Husain H — Google review
Charcoal grill is a people's favorite for Pan-Asian food in Bahrain. They've been known for their great quality in food with affordable prizes to cater to everyone. That is NO LONGER the case. Yes, their food is still delicious, and with some work could be much better. Their service is terrible. The manager is here right as I type. Being the manager and only a few people sitting here for dinner, you'd expect him to check up on you, ask you for comments on the food. Nothing. You have to point out to him to get his attention so you can order your food. And even after requesting the waiter to have your food done a specific way, he refuses to do so and walks away while you're talking. What's with the attitude? Well, the rating would've been much higher had the waiter and manager had the decency to conversation with their customers. On the opposite table, the family is upset as well because they ordered a shrimp dish but was given chicken instead. This shows you how the staff here doesn't know how good service can bring in more customers and much appreciation. It's a shame really.
Jeremiah F — Google review
Very good food and good ambience worth the price too and plus good options for veg also.
Sherol F — Google review
Love the food. Chinese specially... Chicken chilli with fried rice was delicious. Just i didn't like the sizzler presentation. Otherwise food was tasty 😋
Nosheen A — Google review
Very tasty food! We ordered the Sizzling Beef Chilli Platter and the Dim Sim Meal for a family of 4 to share. Enjoyed every bite. The highlight are their dumplings. I am not a huge fan of dumplings but they definitely changed my mind about them. The only thing I would suggest is probably installing QR codes to place orders as they seemed low on staff to take orders.

Its a friendly place to have breakfast with family. I would suggest going early in the morning for peaceful space. The food was okay. Just a one time visit. The karak wasn’t to my expectations. It was like water even after asking them to custom it.

Great breakfast. If you are by yourself, you can order single items. I ordered breakfast platter as I visited with my friends. Totally recommend it.

A good place for some authentic Bahraini breakfast. Friendly staff and good service. Liked the beef liver and eggs and tomatoes. Also, the karak tea. Would visit again.

Nice selection of breakfast. Welcoming staff and knowledgeable. They also serve brunch as well. They have only outdoor seating but they are inside the mall and well vented.

This is a great place for breakfast/lunch while walking the souq. They have very traditional items such as Balaleet: a traditional sweet and savory Bahraini dish. Breakfast restaurant
Haji's Traditional Cafe, also known as Haji Gahwa, is a historic gem in the heart of Bahrain's old souk. Since 1950, this unassuming yet charming cafe has been serving traditional Bahrani cuisine to locals and visitors alike. The indoor seating area features cool white stone walls adorned with nostalgic black and white photographs, while the outdoor area offers a bustling atmosphere in a narrow alleyway.
Haji’s serves authentic food that’s full of flavor. They have set times for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so it’s good to plan ahead. I tried the breakfast and was impressed by the big variety of options. You can choose to sit inside or outside. Highly recommended if you’re looking to try something traditional and authentic.
Michael N — Google review
Tried mixed grill skewers….it was okay-okay. The beef skewers were slightly overcooked (burnt look). The bread was big and fresh. The ambience too was ok-ok as we were sitting outside. Good price for quantity served. Next time will try some other dish.
Jaffar P — Google review
Outstanding cuisine at one of the oldest and most traditional eateries in Bahrain. I had the mixed grill, it was outstanding and served with plenty of veg. Very healthy. Lots of pictures of Bahrain from times past make you feel as if you're eating in a special place. The food is cooked in front of you so you know it's fresh.
Mo A — Google review
This is the classic breakfast spot in the Manama souk, and I had such a great time here. I tried the spicy bones with eggs and vegetables—everything was full of flavor and really tasty. What I loved most was the welcoming atmosphere and how genuinely friendly people in Bahrain are.
Oliver H — Google review
Beautiful traditional cafe by the Souq. The waiters were very welcoming and accommodating (and spoke English). We already had dinner planned so just came for a small bite. The humous was lovely as well as the bread. I imagine the breakfast would be a treat. The atmosphere was lovely and furnished beautifully. Super cheap too.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true Bahraini gem! Haji Cafe is a legendary spot that truly lives up to its reputation. A traditional Bahraini cafe since 1950, it's incredibly popular among locals and Gulf visitors alike — and for good reason! We went for breakfast and enjoyed a delicious spread of traditional dishes: egg with tomatoes, beef liver, fresh Bahraini bread, sunny side eggs, nakhi, beans with egg, and of course, their famous grated cheese. The Karak (milk tea) was the perfect finishing touch. The atmosphere was amazing, whether sitting inside or outside. What made it even better was the service — a big thank you to Bilal for his kind and attentive service. All the staff were smiling and welcoming, which added to the warm, authentic experience. As a Bahraini, I’m proud to have such a cultural and culinary treasure in our country. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the real taste of Bahrain!

Turkish restaurant
Al Shoala Restaurant in Bahrain is a popular spot known for its Turkish cuisine and budget-friendly options. While the decor may not be extravagant, the food, particularly the Turkish mezze, chicken tikka, and kahwa, creates a vibrant dining experience. The restaurant offers ample parking space, making it convenient for both locals and tourists. Renowned for serving some of the best shawarmas in Bahrain, Al Shoala showcases its stacked meat on vertical rotisseries at the forefront.
A true local gem in Muharraq! The famous lamb chops lived up to the hype — tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The mix mezza and grill were generous and well-prepared. Fresh juices (watermelon, avocado, and orange) were spot on. Great spot for a hearty meal with a traditional touch.
Alfatih P — Google review
We’ve been loyal customers of Al Shola for around 15 years. There’s not much ambiance—it’s simple and unassuming—but the food is always on point. Their mixed mezze is our go-to: top‑notch, authentic, and never gets old. Even after trying it at many other places, Al Shola’s version remains the best. The portions are generous, flavors authentic, and prices incredibly affordable. If you’re after quality Turkish/Middle Eastern fare without breaking the bank, this is the spot!
Saira M — Google review
One of the best authentic Arabic food in the country😍even my friends from Saudi love this restaurant. It is very affordable too! I would really recommend their mix grill and shawarma plate.
Julie A — Google review
The place is spacious. The staff are friendly and service was fast. There are many parking slots around the restaurant. The pruces were readonable. The menu is diverse and serves beef, chicken, mutton and fish grills, cooked vegetables, salwds, shawarma, pastries, burgers, pizza, noodles and pasta, broasted chicken and different dishes of rice, juice and soda drinks.
Ahmed S — Google review
This place is a total winner, especially if you're craving some seriously good grilled meat or chicken with their mixed mezza. Their shawarma is also top-notch. You really can't go wrong here – it's super affordable for Bahrain, giving you awesome bang for your buck. I've brought a bunch of friends here, and they've all loved it. It's definitely where the locals go, so you know it's legit and you're in for a good meal. Just a heads-up, it gets packed during dinner, so plan accordingly! For takeaway, they have a lot of heroes outside the resto waiting to get your order. Thank you to them! 👏
R A — Google review
This is our place to go to whenever me and my friends are craving for Arabic food. It’s very affordable and their food is really delicious and plenty. The staff are always nice and friendly. This place is always full whenever we come here so that tells you how good this place is 😊
Lhay — Google review
The affordability of Al Shoala is one of the best qualities of this grill restaurant. The Roussi and other sandwiches that are available in large sizes (like the chicken or meat shawarma sarokh / صاروخ (sarukh)), those sandwiches can keep you full for the rest of the day! It’s literally a foot long! Parking is limited with street parking only. Everything was delicious!

Love the food and the staff are amazing...but the place just a bit hard if you're a solo woman because of the customers (men)..unless you know how to ignore and just enjoy the amazing Lamb chops and the grape juice..haha..but all is all it was an amazing experience..💜

Guests have praised the delicious fish dishes, particularly the Tom Yum mixed seafood soup, which has been described as comforting and flavorful. While some have noted that the restaurant may not meet certain cleanliness standards, many still recommend it for its exceptional food quality.
First time to try this Thai resto after hearing good feedback about them, and I wasn't disappointed. Quick try on their Thai broccoli noodles with mixed beef, chicken and seafood - simple but tasty. The place is small but maintained and clean. Ambience is average. Average to pricey choices. Will definitely try again next time.

Meat was not so tender. It took a while for the food attentandant to take our order. It doesn't create a very good ambience. Pricing is a bit expensive. Not very much recommended.

The food were amazing and you can feel the real taste of thai food. Place is ok, Price are reasonable, love the tom yum soup, comes with many seafood and enough for 2-4 person (recommend to have with rice). Raw shrimp salad is a little be salty but still good. Lemon ice tea is a must! Pad Thai is a little bit sweet but still love it. Overall, food are amazing.

Authentic thai restaurant, the taste is truly delicious Thai style. You can ask for more spicy if you want. We order 3 dishes with one rice dish for 2 ppl was more than enough. highly recommended!!!!

Amazing! Best Thai I've had outside of Thailand. Huge menu. Fantastic Som Tam (green papaya salad) Fried rice with crispy pork was soooo tasty.
Mauro A — Google review
Nice Thai restaurant food wise. If you want hygiene or cleanliness then you might want to give it a miss. If you don't mind those things than I recommend it. The food is one of the best in Bahrain for original Thai. Their pork noodle soup with blood is the best I've had in Bahrain (think of Filipino Dinuguan but as a soup and without the pig insides, lol) and their pork basil and chili is nice also. I also recommend their Tum Yum soup. The one in Manama has better food than their branch in Hoora but Hoora is cleaner.

Great thai food, large portion and reasonable price. BEWARE of pork dishes.Tilapia fish بلطي is not tasty. Make sure you have cash. NO CREDIT or ATM CARDS. Just beware when you take your wife there--GoldCity is nearby!

Breakfast restaurant
Swagat Restaurant is a legendary Indian vegetarian gem nestled in the Manama Souq near Bab al Bahrain in Bahrain. It's renowned for its delectable thalis featuring spiced potatoes, yogurt, pickled vegetables, and chutneys, as well as its mouthwatering dosas. The restaurant offers an inviting ambiance and dishes starting from as little as 300 fils.
Excellent authentic India Veg food. Owner and staff very very friendly. Cash required or any world currency can be exchanged at resturant.

Swagat Restaurant truly sets the standard for authentic South Indian cuisine in Bahrain. Located in the heart of Manama, this hidden gem delivers an exceptional culinary experience that’s both comforting and deeply rooted in tradition. Every dish feels like it’s made with care — from the perfectly crispy dosas to the flavorful sambar and freshly prepared chutneys. The use of genuine ingredients and time-honored recipes speaks volumes about their commitment to authenticity. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, making it ideal for both solo diners and families. What really sets Swagat apart, though, is the staff. Always smiling, attentive, and eager to help, they make every guest feel welcome and valued. Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, the service remains consistently warm and thoughtful. Swagat isn’t just a restaurant — it’s an experience. It captures the true essence of South Indian hospitality and cuisine, right here in Manama. Highly recommended for anyone who values great food, genuine service, and a taste of home.

This is hands down the best Indian food I’ve ever had in my life. It’s super authentic don’t expect a 5 star resort service type vibe. This is the real deal. Super affordable and extreme quality in what they make!

"Swagat Restaurant in Manama, located near the iconic Bab Al Bahrain gate, offers delicious and authentic South and North Indian vegetarian cuisine at budget-friendly prices. The place is small but clean, the food is homely, and the quiet, friendly service makes you want to return again and again."

Swagat Restaurant, one of the oldest and most beloved dining spots in the area, is a perfect choice for a meal after a visit to the temple. Located in a convenient area for temple-goers, it’s a great place to relax with friends and enjoy traditional Indian cuisine. The Thali is a must-try here. It's a true representation of authentic Indian flavors, offering a variety of dishes on a single platter. The flavors are balanced beautifully – the curries are rich and comforting, the dal is perfectly spiced, and the vegetable sides offer a fresh contrast to the heavier dishes. Each component of the thali is served in just the right proportions, giving you a little taste of everything, from tangy chutneys to crispy papad. The warm, soft rotis and the fragrant rice tie everything together. The Dosa, another highlight of the meal, is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside – a perfect example of South Indian culinary expertise. It comes with the traditional assortment of chutneys and sambar. The chutneys, with their vibrant flavors, complement the dosa perfectly. The sambar, slightly spicy and tangy, is a satisfying dip that enhances the overall experience. The ambiance of Swagat adds to its charm. As one of the oldest restaurants in the area, it carries a sense of tradition and nostalgia. The service is friendly and quick, making it a great spot for a leisurely meal with friends. The decor has a comfortable, no-frills vibe, allowing the food to truly be the star of the show. Whether you're a local or just passing through after visiting the temple, Swagat Restaurant is an excellent place to enjoy a hearty, satisfying meal with a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Its longstanding reputation is well-deserved, and it remains a solid choice for anyone craving authentic Indian flavors in a relaxed setting.

Restaurant
Restaurant Lebanese in Bahrain offers a unique cuisine experience with its carpeted floor and neutral décor. Guests can start their meal with an appetizer like samosa potato, or something heartier like the hot Shanghai beef soup. The restaurant is one of the oldest on the island and is well-known for their beef shawerma.
Everything that we tried was delicious. Meats are juicy, sauces are perfectly seasoned, vegetables are fresh. Food was so good that I forgot to make photos. Let me just thank you guys for great service and tasty food 🙏
Michał B — Google review
We visited this Lebanese restaurant yesterday for a small office get-together with around 12 people. The ambiance was pleasant and ideal for gatherings. The highlight of our visit was definitely the food — it was excellent! The mixed grill, in particular, was outstanding and full of authentic flavors. However, the biggest letdown was the service. From the moment we entered until we left, the service experience was very disappointing. While ordering, we requested a few starters and main courses. Shockingly, before we could even order desserts, the staff member taking our order closed the menu abruptly — quite rude and unprofessional. During serving, it only got worse. We had ordered salads, rice, and grill items. But instead of following a proper serving sequence, they started by serving the rice and brought the mixed grill last — which makes no sense in a traditional dining flow. It’s clear the staff lacks basic hospitality training. I strongly urge the management to invest in staff training and service etiquette. The quality of food deserves better service. Without urgent improvement, such poor customer experience could drive even a great restaurant towards closure.
Sunil P — Google review
Vine leaves tasted perfectly fine. Spaghetti bolognese needs a bit work from chef to work upon. Mutton kababs tasted super delicious just like every time. Service was great. Definitely visiting again
Isa N — Google review
I visited Lebanese Restaurant yesterday and had a mixed experience. The service was attentive and friendly, which was a definite plus. However, there was a noticeable lack of time management, leading to delays. The food quality was impressive, with delicious flavors and presentation. However, I felt that the portion sizes were a bit small considering the prices. Overall, Lebanese has potential but needs to work on their timing and quantity. Would I return? Yes, to try more of their dishes, but hoping for improvements.
Ajmal A — Google review
Really rich menu, but taste-wise there is room for improvement. We took baba ganoush, garlic naan and yoghurt with cucumber. Baba ganoush was not the best I had. As main courses: pasta with beshamel (no distinctive taste) and irani kebap (ok). We ordered pomegranate and pineapple juices to drink. All were fresh with no sugar added (great). Our waiter took good care of us.
Magdalena G — Google review
After its been renovated I've visited it first time today and I was really satisfied with the quantity and quality of the food. See attached pics. Prices are good and ambience n service is excellent. Would love to visit for buffet which is in evening. They have 3 levels of parking too. Must visit here is recommended if you love grills and other lebanese cuisine. We had their mix grill, chicken Pasta, spring rolls veg, chicken arayes and umm aali.
Christina M — Google review
Not too thrilled. Portions are quite small for what they charge. We ordered fries along with our meals the fries were like a smaller than a small size and they charge more than other places . Tikka sandwiches extremely dry . No taste . Salad was served on a flat plate( small flat plate, no presentation whatsoever ) with no dressing not even olive oil. Waiters were not very happy and it showed in the way they served customers. In my opinion way over priced for nothing .they need to work on their customer service skills and improve their food as it was tasteless , dry etc or they need to lower their prices. In any case the food is not value for money , so sorry to say. The management should really review their service and what is being offered to customers.
M F — Google review
Absolutely love their food! Especially their Irani grills, tandoori chicken, pasta, noodles, mixed mezze, and sizzlers—each dish is packed with flavor. While you can expect a wait, especially on weekends, the food is worth it. Dishes typically take around 30 minutes to be served. The restaurant offers plenty of seating and ample parking space, which is a plus. They also have a buffet option for those who want to try a bit of everything. Although the portion sizes have reduced over time, the taste and quality keep me coming back. Overall, great service and consistently delicious food.

It was a good experience. We visit Bushido Seef twice and it offers an excellent dining experience with a wonderful ambiance that really sets the mood. WORST SERVICE EVER! My family and I are the type of people who don’t complain even though we aren’t satisfied with the food and services that we have and this is the very first time I will raise a complaint about our experience in Pong’s Thai Restaurant. The service that we had today was WORSE AND AWFUL and it should be addressed! It is not the same management as before. There is no Thai Server or Chef. It is now all Indians. My family had dinner in Pong’s Thai Restaurant around 5:40 pm ( June 25, 2024, Tuesday ). The Indian Server took our orders which are the usual favorites papaya salad, green curry chicken, and pad thai noodles. The server was very lazy and you could see in his Aura that he didn’t like what his doing and taking orders by his body language, tone of voice, and the way he communicated with us. At first, we didn’t mind it, and when he asked us about our drinks we ordered Thai Milk Tea or Iced Milk Tea and he chuckled and said “It’s all the same”. I asked him to make it Less Ice as the usual order. When the orders arrived we noticed that the portions of the order were less than before. When we tried to mix the milk tea very well and tasted it, it was very sweet like we zipped the sugar syrup directly in the bottle. We called the attention of the server and asked him politely to give us some ice and milk to lessen the sweetness of the milk tea. However, it was still the same, the server told us that they used the same ingredients and there was nothing he could do about it. We let the ice melt and mixed it very well but still, we could not drink it at all because of the sweetness. My sister came to the cashier to bring her drink and asked him politely to do something about our drinks because we could not drink it. Instead of helping us and fixing the issue the server even blamed us that we should inform him in the first place to make it less sweet. Again we are regular customers and we know the taste of what we’ve ordered. It caught my attention that the Indian server didn’t want to do anything which is why me and my brother came together to explain to him and fix the issue. THE WORST PART HE DID was he took my sister's milk tea and walked out then he angrily threw the milk tea in the garbage in front of us. He said “I will remove it from your bill” We asked him how about the other drink? He said “What I will do? This was already made and this is not my fault” and still he doesn’t want to do anything about it. We asked him again politely if he could not remove it from our bill and then make a new one which is less sweet. He took the drinks and kept them inside the kitchen and when he gave us what we requested it was still the same drink he just added some Literally Tea with floating Tea Leaves. We were fed up with his behavior of being close-minded and rude which is why even though we were not finished eating we asked for the bill and paid then left. WE FEEL SORRY FOR THE OWNER OF THE RESTAURANT THAT HIS STAFF DESTROYING THE GOOD RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CUSTOMERS AND THE BUSINESS. Pong’s Thai Restaurant NEVER AGAIN! And I will definitely inform all my friends and family not to visit your restaurant again!

Poor service and very bad family dining experience. The appetizers were served without a side plate and when request we had to wait for another 5 mins and by the time the bread is cold where the bread is not a complimentary and wasn’t enough to eat with appetizers. Water was served and had to again request for glass, they gave the coke cup to serve water which gave us a clear image that is is a wrong place to dine. While placing the order the they said 15mins and we literally had to wait with half portion left with appetizers. The main course was served after waiting for long time. Food was average and service since there is no zero, I gave 1.

Aroy Dee Thai is a popular restaurant known for its authentic and delicious Thai cuisine. Located in Bahrain, it offers a menu similar to Mamy Soup and specializes in great Thai barbecue, providing a welcome alternative to the typical mixed grill options. While the atmosphere may lack some charm, the food more than makes up for it. Visitors have raved about the exceptional tom yam seafood and highly recommend trying the authentic Isan dishes.
Easily some of the best Thai food I have tasted outside of Thailand. The tom yam seafood was exceptional, very good. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Mediocre at best. Very small interior space, was full of smoke when we arrived. Zero ventilation inside. The food itself was some of the worst thai I have ever tried. Most of it seemed not fresh and the taste was poor.

we enjoyed the food! the samboosa and butter chicken are the best .. the portion is good, and the service is outstanding! if you want a decent Indian restaurant you must visit this place .. 😀
Batool H — Google review
The interiors feel a bit dated. As an Indian myself, I didn’t find the food to be as flavorful as I’m used to. It’s clearly catering to the Arab and western palate. All the food was okay at best. The samosa chat was just okay, the sauces weren’t very flavorful. The little amuse-bouche served at the beginning was a savory lentil patty with chickpeas, I found this to be very dry. The drinks were excellent and catered to my preference. The grilled paneer agin was just okay. It looked a big undergrilled as well. The garlic naan was also underwhelming. The jalebi milk cake dessert was good but very sweet, but I believe that’s by design as jalebis are very sweet. Overall, I was not impressed as I was looking forward to this for a long time. I was expecting elevated Indian cuisine but found it to be a watered down version of it. I would not return. The staff and service were the only great parts of the experience.

My husband had surprised me for our 10th anniversary. The table was decorated elegantly and from the starters everything was on point. The staff were very welcoming. From the beverages to the starters, through main course and an amazing surprise cake for anniversary! Everything was smooth and delicious. Light on stomach too. Flavours were on point. Not overwhelming at all. Since we had an amazing experience at indego by vineet in Qatar, we knew this was the place to celebrate our special day.. Great experience at the Gulf Hotel in Bahrain. Ate the Friday Brunch in Al Waha restaurant. Without adult beverages it was 25BHD ($66.30). Food is good and you can certainly get your money’s worth if you’re hungry. For all light eaters I would not get the buffet. I did the seafood and sushi. It was good. The soy sauce was very very salty. Not sure if they had a low sodium version. Worth the ask. There’s a live cooking stating where you can have any protein cooked to order. Unfortunately did not try that. Desert was impressive. Wasn’t able to try everything there. Tummy was at full capacity. Really enjoyed the music but can be loud to those with noise sensitivities. Great place to eat and get ready for the evening and best part about it is that you would not be hungry the rest of the day (hello intermittent fasting). The wait staff I had was amazing. I wish I knew her name but shout out to her. She’s amazing.

China Garden is a modern oriental-styled restaurant located in Manama, offering a wide variety of Chinese cuisine from the Cantonese, Szechuan, and Peking regions. Led by Chef Ding and a team of famous Chinese chefs, the restaurant serves traditional signature dishes such as dim sum and Peking duck. The establishment has gained popularity among locals and even celebrities like Michael Jackson during his time in Bahrain. Additionally, China Garden now offers takeaway and delivery services for selected menu items.
We had a lovely meal here last night. I loved this place. If you are really looking for authentic Chinese cuisine, you must try this restaurant. The food was great and cheap, especially for the area. Everything was well cooked and the food filled you up. Considering the fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes, you really get more than what you pay for. Highly recommended for those who want a quality meal without breaking the bank. Haha. Kudos to Ms. Joan and lovely staff. Definitely will come back.

Good Chinese restaurant in Bahrain, at Gulf hotel. The place is small and neat. The staff is very friendly and the service was really very good. The food was very good in some dishes, not all. The Singapore noodles wasn’t the best, too much spices and the taste was very strong. The garlic rice, I had better in other places. But the spring rolls, the crispy beef, the dumplings, and the chicken with lemon sauce were so yummy, not to forget their ice tea which was really good. I strongly recommend the place but you need reservation.

Our experience here was a mixed bag of great food and slow, though well-intentioned, service. We walked in during Eid without a booking to a half-empty restaurant. The staff were truly friendly and warm, and it was clear they wanted to be helpful. However, their attention was almost too much at times, with five different people stopping by our table during the meal. Yet, when we brought up that our order is late, it was a problem they were unable to resolve. It took them sometime to finally serve us. What's a Chinese restaurant waiter's favorite dish? It would be A five-star review! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food itself was excellent, very tasty, if a bit light on the portions. I appreciate that the focus is on flavor and quality, not quantity. I just wish the price reflected that same logic! 🤔💸
Al T — Google review
The experience at China Garden was overall excellent. The food was delicious, portions were well-balanced, and the pricing felt very fair for the quality, great value for money. The only area that could be improved is the ambiance; it felt a bit dim and dry, which took away slightly from the otherwise wonderful dining experience. Still, definitely worth a visit for the food and service!

One of the best Chinese restaurants we’ve ever been to! As a true Chinese food lover, I can confidently say their dishes are incredibly delicious. It’s the small, thoughtful gestures that made our experience even more memorable. This place is a must-try! This Chinese restaurant at the Gulf Hotel has a really good reputation - decided to give it a go this time instead of the Thai, which is closed indefinitely for refurbishment. Nice place inside, accessed along some sort of annex skywalk - very attentive staff spotted us coming and opened door. Smallish restaurant inside, no more than 100 covers, with private dining room to the left as you enter. Not too busy on a Monday night, so seated straight away. Big menu with a lot of choice - ordered the mixed platter to start. A superb concoction - two each of spring rolls, wontons, battered prawns and minced prawn on toast. The toast was fat and tasty. Lovely. Served with a range of Chinese condiments, including a very dark and spicy sauce, the name of which remains a mystery. For a main, crispy fried chilli beef - my go-to - this beef was high quality and the portion was huge. I could have shared this portion of beef easily. Lovely falvour though, although not that spicy. Schoolboy error with the rice - ordered the chicken fired rice but it turned out to be big enough for four, although well priced. Couldn’t finish this. Also it had sweetcorn in, which I cannot abide 😃For me, sweetcorn and peas are two things that simply do not belong in rice and I will not change my mind about that. Anyway, overall, this was a lovely food experience and I would definitely eat here again, but I would have plain rice. There were several dishes on the menu I would be interested in trying. The beer on this occasion was Tsingtao, from Qingdao - this is an appropriate beer for a Chinese restaurant. I approve.

China Garden in Al Liwan is a delightful spot for anyone craving authentic Chinese cuisine. With ample seating and a beautifully designed interior, the restaurant creates a welcoming atmosphere that invites you to relax and enjoy your meal. During our visit, we ordered the crispy beef and garlic shrimps, both of which were outstanding. The crispy beef was perfectly fried with a delightful crunch, while the garlic shrimp was succulent and full of flavor. We paired our dishes with steamed white rice and fried rice, both of which complemented the main courses beautifully. To end our meal on a sweet note, we enjoyed the complementary Fortune Cookies—a classic must-have when dining at a Chinese restaurant. The staff at China Garden were extremely friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Their excellent service made our visit even more enjoyable. I highly recommend China Garden for anyone looking to explore Chinese cuisine in the area. With great food, a lovely ambiance, and friendly service, it's a fantastic dining destination!

The Orangery is a charming tea room and patisserie situated within the Palace Boutique Hotel & The Avenues Mall in Bahrain. Its ambiance evokes the feeling of being in an English garden, complete with landscaped gardens, water features, and a luxurious terraced dining area. The menu reflects traditional English tea room influences with a Middle Eastern twist. With its elegant floral interior and colonial flair, it offers a delightful setting for enjoying breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
I first discovered this place nearly five years ago when a client invited me for a breakfast meeting. Since then, it has remained one of my favorite choices whenever friends ask for a cozy dining spot. As someone who loves nature and European-inspired spaces, I truly enjoy the atmosphere. What truly sets this place apart is the outstanding customer service. Let me highlight my recent visit with a friend and her son, we were warmly welcomed by Carla, I believe she is a supervisor, whose attentiveness and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home. Along with her, who served our food was Jerome who was very cheerful, friendly, and accommodating too, turning our simple visit into a delightful and memorable experience. I had the pleasure of dining at The Orangery in Bahrain, and I can confidently say it was one of the most delightful restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. What truly elevated the experience, however, was the outstanding service. I want to specifically mention Hassania, who was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional throughout the visit. Her friendly demeanor and thoughtful approach made me feel genuinely welcomed. She managed everything with grace and ensured everything ran smoothly, always with a smile. It’s rare to encounter someone who so naturally enhances the dining experience. Fusions by Tala, located at The Gulf Hotel in Manama, is led by renowned chef Tala Bashmi. Known for her dedication to sourcing the freshest Bahraini ingredients from local farmers' markets, Chef Tala combines Middle Eastern and European influences to create a unique dining experience. With an industrial-chic ambiance featuring hanging lights and lush greenery, the restaurant offers a modern take on traditional Bahraini cuisine.
At Fusions in the Gulf Hotel, the presentation and atmosphere of the restaurant presents itself as "an opulence of fine dining with nostalgic Arabian home cooking." The seasonal menu changes frequently, but signature dishes in the repertoire include items such as the "Ghoozi Tacos". The culinary approach here is taking comfort foods that are normally standalone such as ghoozi (lamb over a giant plate of rice) or Bahraini tikka (lemon marinated meat chunks in a skewer grilled over charcoal) and repackaging them into a completely different format, while retaining the exact same taste that comes with the traditional comfort food dish. A good playbook is to make reservations for dinner and then arrive an hour early where you can walk up to the terrace bar and enjoy pre-dinner drinks while overlooking the beautiful Al Fateh Grand Mosque. Once the reservation time hits, head down to the dining area. If you don't finish your drinks, they'll bring it down for you. There is a smart casual dress code policy. Note: It is no longer Fusions by Tala. Last month, Award Winning Bahraini chef Tala Bashmi announced her departure from the restaurant where she brought her vision of Bahraini cuisine to life. As such, the super popular tasting menu is no longer available. The tasting menu was part of her vision and when she left, the tasting menu departed with her. ==================== Cocktails on the Terrace: Sake Bucha: home-made ginger kombucha, sho chikubi sake, Titos vodka, yuzu juice Running on Kombucha: Hendrick's gin, Campari, home-made passion fruit kombucha Dates Old Fashioned: dates molasses, bourbon whiskey Curious George: Monkey Shoulder whisky, tamarind pulp, aquafaba Food: Ghoozi Tacos: braised lamb shoulder, machboos aioli, crispy onions Mushroom Risotto: creamy risotto, shimeji, enoki, button mushrooms, a hint of truffle Leek Ravioli: creamy hand-made ravioli, topped with crispy leeks, leek rings Tikka Steak: US prime beef tenderloin, black lime, bone marrow jus Dinner Wine Pairing: Mud House New Zealand Pinot Noir: A juicy and enticing Pinot Noir from Central Otago. Aromas of bold cherry and fresh red berries are underpinned by savory notes and spicy oak. On the palate, dark fruit flavors flow into a smooth palate, delivering a long finish with fine tannins and juicy acidity.

Staff where very friendly and attentive, great lunch with a nice cold drinks. Good happy hour line up. Definitely worth a visit, I will go back again. Thank you Jim's Restaurant.

Pakistani restaurant
Desi Dastarkhawn, a renowned Pakistani restaurant in Bahrain, was established by Nadeem Usman Dhadhuk and is highly regarded among the residents of Manama. It brings the authentic flavors of Karachi to Bahrain through its exquisite Desi recipes. Under the expertise of head chef Muhammad Mushtaq, each dish is carefully prepared to perfection.
Ordered Nihari for a family lunch at home and I can easily say this was one of the best niharis I’ve ever had - and this comes from a true Karachiite living in Bahrain. The flavour and the texture were so delectable everyone devoured the whole thing pretty quick. If you’re a true Nihari fan and want to try the authentic Pakistani Nihari taste, this is the place to try for sure! I would also like to mention the customer service. I had requested for the food to be delivered at a specific time, but because of some internal miscommunication the food arrived early. However upon informing the team immediately agreed to resend me fresh hot roti right before my guests arrive, and let me keep the previous rotis as well. Thanks a lot for that! The lunch was a hit Definitely reordering very soon!

This is to adress Ms Aruba Nadeem ( so called owner of this restaurant) Yes its true that your restaurant is not clean, your restaurant includes dirt around with some dead cockroaches and the table or what whatever it is where the serving plates has been kept, you should go there with your eyes open and watch out for every single detail of cleanliness and if you say its clean then sorry we don’t belong to this category of humans. And I believe we have the right to post which we think people should know before coming to this restaurant. Honestly, what’s the use of eating so called delicious food in this atmosphere where your eyes are not comfortable?

Very bad experience. This is the second time I went here with a guest. Ordered karahi. Prices are crazy expensive compare to its quality. 7 bd for half kg mutton. That also tasted burnt, and the bread(roti) was so hard. Veg was okay. Both of my guest had stomach issues the following night after eating food from here. Never visiting this place again. The management should look into it properly. Staff was nice though.

1. Food - I ordered nahari and its having authentic taste 2. Service - they said will take 15 minutes and within the time things were ready and served properly. 3. Good, Clean area for dining I was unable to figure our nearby parking but anyhow i found a place infront of it to park my car. The road was narrow.
Ashar S — Google review
For me, it’s second best Pakistani restaurant in Bahrain while a first choice in some dishes. Their mayo roll paratha, tawa qeema and nehari are the best one in the town, you can find variety of daal types in a reasonable amount, grills are not the best ones but are very good, koyla Karahi is yummy, taka tak is the only option available in Bahrain (I guess), chicken biryani is the second best and they also have home like chappatis. Overall, you should try if you are agree on spending some extra bucks for getting the best taste. I will give 3/5 overall due to following reasons, 1) They ONLY accept cash which is really headache if you try to pay through other meal. Nearest ATM is BBK (next to Zamil Tower) 2) You will find issues in finding the parking. 3) It’s overpriced (but in my opinion, it justifies their taste) 4) they really need to invest on their interior decor.
Humayun S — Google review
Restaurant with cockroaches, average food taste, dirty area where serving plates have kept, damaged furniture and fixtures with extremely poor management, even the name board out is fully destroyed. Menu prices seems like dining in fancy restaurant, where the reality is you are sitting in a restaurant located in village with uneducated management. Food is average but tbh no one knows where and how the food is being prepared, possibility that cockroaches watching the cooking show as well.
Zahra M — Google review
Visited the place due to good google reviews, the food was average, nahari was okayish not extraordinary, Bihari kabab was also okay not too good not too bad. If you have taste buds to match for Karachi style nahari and Bihari boti this is not the place. The chicken handi was good. The prices are way to high as compared to quantity Overall the not worth the money spent If they lower the prices as other Pakistani restaurants it will justify to spend at this place. The seating was good and the servers were okay.

If you're on the hunt for an authentic Filipino dining experience in Bahrain, look no further than Bahay Kubo Restaurant. This charming eatery captures the essence of traditional Filipino culture through its inviting atmosphere and extensive menu filled with beloved Pinoy dishes. From the moment you step inside, you'll be transported to a cozy Bahay Kubo setting that feels like home. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for family gatherings or casual dinners with friends.
Great Phillipine restaurant serving delicious fried pork and plenty of other dishes. Was about $15-$20 USD per person. Service was phenomenal and everything felt freshly cooked.

Atmosphere: I love the vibe of the place! It really feels like you’re in a Bahay Kubo! The place is also kept clean. (5⭐️) Service: The waitresses are really friendly and accommodating! Tho the serving time took a long time. (3⭐️) Food: The pancit was really good! As well as the Lechelog! The grilled squid tho tasted bland. (4⭐️) Price: The price was a bit high for the taste. (4⭐️) Comments: Definitely must try if you want some Filipino food. It’s good to eat here especially if you have friends visiting from Saudi! But be warn, the parking is really a hassle! So plan accordingly!

A very very poor visitor in terms of service and quality, would not return. Didn't have an item but couldn't take it off bill which was weird. Staff were not knowledgeable at all. Chicken on bone was all bone and mainly inedible, the sauce was nice though to be fair

We were looking to try some Filipino cuisine, so we sought recommendations from a few friends, and they suggested Bahay Kubo. We visited the restaurant for dinner and we started by ordering Lumpiang Shanghai Chicken (BD2.000) and Pork BBQ Skewers (BD1.600). For our main courses, we opted for Adobe Rice Chicken (BD2.200) and Pancit Canton Chicken (BD2.600). To conclude our delightful meal on a sweet note, we indulged in the delectable Leche Flan (BD2.200). Each dish we savoured was truly exceptional, and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

Our favorite Filipino Restaurant in Manama, Bahrain. Lechon belly was exceptional. The pancit was citrusy with crisp vegetables, the adobo was so flavourful, the lumpia was tasty. Of all the Filipino restaurants in town that has opened up, I would say this one tops it all. If you crave for Native Filipino dish, this is the right place for you to explore.

Amazing experience for a great quality food , vibes and gathering. We have enjoyed alot as a family , whereby kids spent time in kids club for the Friday brunch and we enjoyed our food. Better to reserve here.

Bahrain Bay Kitchen is the main restaurant located on the ground floor of the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay. The restaurant is very spacious, with a refined and elegant interior. We visited for the Christmas dinner buffet, which offered an impressive variety of dishes, most of them were delicious. The seafood, in particular, was very fresh, and the ice cream was also excellent. Although it was quite crowded due to the holiday, the food was constantly replenished, and the staff provided great service throughout. It's been a while since our visit, so things may have changed, but personally, it was a very satisfying dinner buffet experience.

Incredible brunch experience. The food variety/choices is almost too much but I can’t complain because there’s something for everyone. Prices are high but if you love to eat, you can eat your moneys worth with sushi, prime rib, and lamb. Hit up the high value items first and never look back!
Tyrone — Google review
We came to this restaurant expecting a top-tier dining experience, but what we got was loud, chaotic, and frankly, unacceptable for any establishment – let alone one claiming to be 5-star. One table of guests was drinking heavily, singing loudly, and making obnoxious noises that echoed through the entire dining area. It felt more like a bar gone wild than a fine dining restaurant. The worst part? The staff did absolutely nothing to calm the situation. In fact, they seemed to find it amusing and even encouraged the group by laughing along and lingering near their table. Many guests, including us, were visibly uncomfortable. We couldn't enjoy our food, conversation was impossible, and the whole atmosphere was ruined. After complaining, we expected at least some form of action, but there was none. Not even an apology. Eventually, we had to leave early. For the price we paid and the reputation this place tries to uphold, the experience was a total letdown. I hope management seriously reconsiders how they handle disruptive customers and how their staff contributes to the experience. Until then, I won’t be recommending this place to anyone looking for a peaceful or refined evening out.
Tariq D — Google review
Deep sigh, I don't even know where to start. I have been to a few brunches but there is none quite like the Friday Brunch at Bahrain Bay Kitchen. The layout of the variety of cuisines was perfect, from the moment you enter the restaurant you feel the appreciation from staff. Even the manager and his director were greeting guests and ensuring all was well. The service was top notch and Samuel (who served us drinks) was awesome, he was very jovial! When I tell you that you get things done to your desire, believe me. I love seafood and I wanted my lobsters and shrimp hot and at my request, I got just that. How could I forget....you get to make your own Gin & Tonic also. The Arabic Sweets were my favourite desserts and though I am not a fan of red meat I enjoyed their soft and juicy texture. Last but by no means least I just want to say that our most favourite staff is Sal from concierge 😍

It's the second time we have had a workshop / corporate meeting at the Four Seasons Bahrain Bay - and literally I've been looking forward to the lunch the most. The buffet and service of Bahrain Bay Kitchen are outstanding, I wish I was hungry enough to try it all: Salads, sushi, freshly prepared dishes, Asian and continental... Really, too good to be true for a lunch selection. The waiters and chefs are very friendly and dedicated, I almost feel guilty being looked after in such a welcoming manner.

Beautiful internal design and arrangement. It is located at Arad Park. Acceptable prices Unfortunately you cannot see anything through the glass of the restaurant at night. Really good place with authentic Bahraini food. Had my breakfast there. They are located within a natural reserve park “محمية طبيعية". The restaurant is facing a lagoon. Breakfast - very varied menu. Traditional cuisine. Very tasty dishes, nicely presented, delicious karak! A wonderful, atmospheric restaurant! As for dinner, it was nothing special. A vegetarian friend had a problem choosing something from the menu. She finally got the soup. A restaurant located in such a beautiful place, with such a beautiful decor should attract crowds. And it is not. The restaurant is good but at these prices there are other places to eat just as good if not better. To improve the menu and service usability.

Strolling through the lovely park, Freej bin Rasshdan promises a taste of Bahraini tradition with its canalside setting. Parking's plentiful, so that's a plus. But step inside, and the "authentic" vibe feels more like a costume drama set. Plastic flowers scream "faux-tradition" louder than any oud music, and the decor piles it on a bit thick. The food? Sadly, it doesn't fare much better. Nothing on our table truly sparked excitement. Every dish felt generic, a touristy echo of Bahraini flavors rather than the real deal. Sure, the service was friendly (even when they forgot one of our orders, oops!), but that alone can't save the day. Look, for a quick snap to send back home, Freej might tickle the fancy. After all, the views are undeniably pretty. But if you're seeking genuine Bahraini flavors, let this one be a scenic pit stop, not your culinary destination. This island's bursting with authentic gems – no need to settle for plastic palms and forgettable bites.
Jaber M — Google review
The ambience was 10/10. Been on my bucket list for a while now. The food was nothing much to mention especially considering the price point. But what really disappointed us was the service.it took em 45 mins to bring us the food and when we asked one of them mentioned it was cause the kitchen was small. Another one mentioned the chicken had to be marinated. If it was busy we could understand but there were barely 3-4 tables and the waiter was arguing with us telling us the chicken takes a while to cook like bruh this ain’t our first time visiting a restaurant. Safe to say will not be coming here again which is sad considering how beautiful the ambience was.

If you’re tired of the fancy, expensive and loud brunches around town, Verandah is the right place for you! It’s simple, quiet and no frills. This 5BD brunch provides an all you can eat rotating menu each weekend and the food was actually really delicious. The atmosphere is very cozy and reminds me of the 90’s all you can eat places back in the states such as Hometown Buffet, Cici, Soup Plantation and Pizza Hut (back when they were a restaurant and had brunch).

The restaurant have variety menu but the main dishes that I like more are the fish & chips and chicken kiev. They have good mezze starter as well. The thing that I did not like is the little shisha smell although I sit in the non smoking area.

Update requested by Google Maps: Veranda Restaurant and Café is still maintaining its quality. The food and drinks are still delicious, and the service is still good. But it's also time to make some changes in the menu and include some new items. Original review: Veranda Restaurant and Café in Adliya is one of the oldest cafe-restaurants in Bahrain. The menu includes a variety of different dishes, but the food is delicious and well prepared. The service is helpful and friendly. The shisha cafe section has always been popular. The management changes the layout and decor regularly and this makes the restaurant very interesting. The only problem is finding a parking place.

I had the pleasure of dining at Darseen Bahrain, located inside the Bahrain National Museum, and it was a wonderful experience. The food was authentic and absolutely delicious. The eggs and tomato dish, in particular, was a highlight—rich in flavor and perfectly cooked. The service was outstanding, with attentive and friendly staff ensuring a smooth dining experience. The atmosphere was truly unique, offering a serene view from inside the museum, adding an extra layer of cultural elegance. However, I encountered an issue with the Entertainer app during my visit. While I have been using the Entertainer for years and have enjoyed many discounts, this time, the coupon for my meal was refused. After a polite conversation with the support team, it became clear that the merchant’s menu classified the item I ordered as a breakfast item, which made the coupon ineligible. Although I appreciate the professionalism of the Entertainer support team, the situation still left me disappointed as it took away from the joy of my dining experience. Despite this minor inconvenience, I would definitely recommend Darseen for anyone looking for delicious food and a great atmosphere, especially for those wanting to explore a bit of Bahrain's cultural heritage alongside their meal.

We really liked this great little place! Probably one of our favorite meals in Bahrain. The menu is big enough to have a lot of things I'd like to try but not so big that there's everything and you get suspicious that they can do any of it well. I really liked the lemonades. We had rose lemonade and cinnamon lemonade and they were both wonderful! The curly fries were really good, much better than you expect, and the sambuusa roll was excellent and the ginger sambuusa appetizer was also great. The servers were terribly quick and good and the terrace is really nice as a setting.

At night, you can also see the lights from the high-rise buildings of Juffair. Sitting outside can give you a sense of tranquility. As a regular Korean food consumer at a global scale, by far the worst food quality and tasteless food my family had. All dishes including unlimited menu + ala carte dishes were horrible! Raw meat served for grill was in black color (pork & beef) indicating meat wasn’t close to fresh and worst quality meat served. Upon grill, it stinked. Sides vege were tasteless. All food including soups had super high contain MSG. Draught Beer line were not cleaned on regular basis. My first and last visit to this restaurant.

Went on a Thursday afternoon for the unlimited pork so it was quite empty. My korean wife and I were satisfied with the 삼겹살 (pork belly), beverages, and 반찬 (side dishes). A little bit annoying that they have some unfavorable rules but I guess because of previous experiences. The staff was friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable.

Food was just ok a bit on the bland side. Tteokbokki was okay but needs more flavor and a bit of spiciness. Korean fried chicken was not juicy, probably not well marinated or poor quality chicken. Sauce “sweet spicy” was not properly done. Kimchi rice was very bland. Overall not recommended.

Saravana Bhavan- A South Indian Delight 🍛✨ Just visited the newly inaugurated Saravana Bhavan—a South Indian culinary treasure at Dana Mall Sanabis Bahrain. I have tasted their food in Riyadh & it was worth enjoying. If you’re a fan of authentic flavors, this place is a must-visit. Food is Absolutely divine! From the crispy dosa and soft idlis to the piping hot sambhar and a variety of chutneys, every bite feels like a trip to south Indian kitchen. Don’t miss their special filter coffee—it’s the perfect end to a flavorful meal. The staff were well-versed in explaining dishes, which is great for first-timers. I have to say its value for money. Generous portions at reasonable prices! There is a wait time during peak hours, but that’s a testament to their popularity. A big thumbs-up for bringing authentic South Indian taste closer to home! Highly recommend it to anyone craving a taste of the South. #SouthIndianCuisine #NewRestaurant #FoodiesParadise

We decided to try the new Saravana Bhavan in Dana Mall for lunch, arriving around 1 to 1:30 p.m., which was the perfect time for a meal. The place had a decent crowd, and they opened a new section to accommodate us. Within a few minutes, the dining area filled up, which seemed like a positive sign. We checked the menu and opted for the special lunch thali. The thali included puri, sambar, yogurt, a variety of vegetable curries, a sweet dish, and plain white rice. When the food arrived, the puri was quite good. However, the sambar was disappointing—it was watery, lacked flavor, and seemed to be missing sambar powder. The vegetable curries were decent, but the sweet dish was a major letdown. It appeared to be a dry fruit-based dessert, but the flavor was completely out of place with the rest of the meal, to the point that I couldn’t eat it and set it aside. The dining experience was further marred by confusion at the payment counter. Multiple waiters approached us, and it wasn’t clear who was responsible for managing the bill. We stood there for about five minutes, unsure of what to do, until someone finally came over, confirmed our order, and asked if we’d had water. Overall, while the meal had a few good elements, there’s significant room for improvement. The staff seemed overwhelmed, which might be attributed to the restaurant being newly opened. With better organization and some tweaks to the thali offerings, the experience could be much better. Next time, I’d like to try their dosas, as I’ve heard great things about them.

A Breakfast to Remember at Sarvan Bhavan at Dana Mal🍽️☕ Yesterday morning, I, along with Priyanka, Kashi, and a few friends, decided to kickstart our day with a delightful breakfast at Sarvan Bhavan. And let me tell you, it was an amazing experience that deserves a shoutout! 🙌 The Ambiance 🌟 From the moment we entered, the welcoming vibe of the place made us feel at home. The cleanliness and arrangement of tables were on point. The soft chatter of fellow diners, the aroma of fresh South Indian dishes, and the friendly staff added to the charm of the morning. The Service 👏 The staff deserves a special mention for their promptness and hospitality. Despite it being a busy morning, they made sure we were attended to quickly and had everything we needed. They greeted us with smiles and ensured that every dish was served hot and fresh. The Food 🥞🍛 Now coming to the best part – the food! Sarvan Bhavan has always been known for its authentic South Indian cuisine, and they didn’t disappoint. Dosas that melt in your mouth 🥞: We tried their crispy masala dosas, and the filling was perfectly spiced, paired with chutneys and sambhar that tasted like a burst of flavors. Idlis soft as clouds 🥢: The idlis were incredibly fluffy and just the right amount of tangy from the fermentation. Filter Coffee – a must-have! ☕: No South Indian breakfast is complete without a piping hot filter coffee, and Sarvan Bhavan’s brew was divine. It was strong, aromatic, and the perfect wake-up call we needed. Vada for the crunch lovers 🍩: The medu vada had the ideal crispness on the outside while being soft and flavorful inside. The portions were generous, and every bite reflected the authenticity of South Indian flavors. The Highlights 🎉 One thing that stood out was the consistency in quality and taste. Whether you’re a regular or a first-timer, the flavors are always top-notch. Plus, the pricing was reasonable, making it a great value-for-money experience. Our Verdict ✅ If you’re a fan of South Indian cuisine or looking to try something new, Sarvan Bhavan is the place to be. From their impeccable service to their delicious food, everything about this place screams excellence. A huge thanks to my amazing company – Priyanka, Kashi, and the rest of the gang – for making this breakfast even more special. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) We can’t wait to visit again for another round of mouthwatering delicacies. Until next time, Sarvan Bhavan – stay awesome! #BreakfastGoals 🥞 #SarvanBhavan #SouthIndianDelights 🍛 #AuthenticCuisine 🌟 #FoodiesParadise 🍴 #FilterCoffeeLovers ☕ #DosaDreams 🥢 #IdliVadaCombo 🍩 #HappyTummies 😊 #FoodiesUnite 🙌 #MustVisitInTown 💯 #FlavorfulMornings 🌄

The food and the service was great! Every chef and server was incredibly kind and attentive. The restaurant was also spotless, making our experience even more enjoyable. My mom, sister, and I had a wonderful time on our first visit to Saravana Bhavan in Dana Mall. Keep up the great work—we’ll definitely be back!

Food was good. The service was too bad, even though they have many staff nobody is taking care of the customers here. Sometimes we need to wait for a long time and remind them, also the waiter is not sure about the order we told him and served whatever they like🙄. At least they should have shown their brand value in the customer service.

Disappointed with them today. I come roughly once in 2 months to Bahrain and times when I miss upma I walk into saravana . The second time that I have been told after 15 minutes wait that upma was never on the menu The first time it happened I let it slide and walked to Kailash parbat But the second time again !! Busy / too many people - all understood but this is unacceptable

Wonderful space along the Pearling Path. Great breakfast which is served all day. Excellent coffee and Karak Tea. The space is beautiful and staff was very accommodating. Highly recommended if you want a beautiful spot to grab something to eat and drink. Particularly good if you want a stop on the Pearling Path.

Extraordinary good coffee and great and modern atmosphere in the old town. You wouldn't expect a cafe like this with such a great style. Very cool menu offering breakfast all day and a good variety of tea and coffee. Quiet and relaxing place where you can take a rest from sightseeing. Can only be recommended!

Lovely place, a design architecture in the heart of old Muharrak, which serves traditional bahreini food for a reasonable price. The lemon mint and karak chai were delicious and we also appreciated the food. A nice pause when you are visiting the old houses of Muharrak.

Fantastic coffee shop and restaurant, hidden away in the cultural district. Definitely make your way here for a drink and bite to eat. Freshly made in-house breads and other local delicacies. Delicious food and great ambience. Bahraini High Tea at @raazjii 😍 Afternoon tea Bahraini style 👌🏼 I really enjoyed it. We had the Silver package which has chicken sandwiches, egg sandwiches, Bahraini kebab, chicken samosa, falafel, chocolate moose cups, date cake, karak tea & Arabic gahwa ♥️♥️♥️ Their karak tea is one of the best I’ve had. And their Bahraini kebab is just perfect 👌🏼 Here are some details: BD6 for the silver high tea (this is the one we had) BD9.5 for the platinum high tea (Both are Bahraini inspired cuisine, the platinum has more options) One set to be shared by two people. Oh and for the High tea, you need to call them & book 1 day before as everything is made fresh from scratch.

I am very impressed (and obsessed) with Raazji’s vegan options. So inventive and creative what they have introduced to their menu. From the Bahraini breakfast to the mix grill, I think this place deserves more than a visit. Also, the manager always makes sure we’re taken care of. Will definitely be back.

Filipino restaurant
Hot Pot Restaurant is a delightful fusion of Filipino and Chinese cuisines, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts. With an extensive menu featuring everything from savory chowmein to classic Pinoy dishes, there's something for everyone. The restaurant prides itself on serving high-quality chicken, beef, lamb, seafood, and fresh vegetables at affordable prices. Many patrons have enjoyed the consistently delicious flavors over multiple visits.
Nothing beats a well-established restaurant I have been to this restaurant many times (occasion-wise). This has been one of the top Filipino restaurants in Bahrain Food: The food was amazing as expected, the taste never changes Service: It was fast but then again only a few customers dined in Atmosphere: Need to renovate and they have closed their karaoke/private dining Good place for cravings Note: They have also some Filipino snacks on the counter that I recommend trying
Ludgie ( — Google review
It was my first time to dine in HotPot after a very long time. The ambiance was quiet and the restaurant itself is spacious and clean. We ordered Bistek Tagalog, Savory Chicken with Pansit, and Crab and Corn Soup The Bistek Tagalog is tender. Coupled with crunchy white onions that adds that familiar texture, the dish definitely requires more than a cup of rice The Savory Chicken with Pansit is amazing. Though it may be a bit salty for some, the pansit is worth the try. Every element of the pansit complements to a delectable homage of what pansit canton should be. The pansit is not overcooked and is robust with shrimp, liver and the usual carrots and cabbage. The chicken mimics Savory Chicken back home. The skin was crunchy and greets your tongue with that Chinese Five spice sensation that is nostalgic and appetizing. Though I felt that there are parts of the chicken that are bland but overall I would still recommend it Lastly the Halo Halo. I saw a comment below that is a bit negative, but still I gave it a try. And gladly I did. The leche flan on top screams of lime zest which is great for breaking the monotony of sweetness. The vanilla ice cream was luscious. It is really not that bad. It could have been better if there are other elements like langka or macapuno but this is perfect to satisfy a craving I think HotPot deserves a rediscovery for those who have forgotten or has gotten used to its presence in Bahrain. *I am no way affiliated to the restaurant. Just a satisfied customer

Unique cuisine from the Philippines that we thoroughly enjoyed. One star off for the inordinate delay in ordered food being served despite the fact that the restaurant was empty except our table. Naseef Restaurant in Muharraq, Bahrain is widely renowned and highly recommended by numerous travelers. Visitors were not disappointed after their visit, despite having to wait for a free table due to the restaurant's popularity. The establishment was bustling with customers, but the food proved to be worth the wait. Patrons ordered multiple dishes which were all delicious, accompanied by equally satisfying cocktails. The ambiance at Naseef is exceptional as diners are seated next to the sea, providing a picturesque view.

Naseef in Saada Muharraq is a fantastic spot if you’re looking for great food and a relaxing setting. The menu offers excellent dishes with generous portions, and the value for money is definitely one of the highlights. The ambiance is just perfect, especially with the beautiful sea view that makes the whole experience feel calm and refreshing. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from the city center, so you’ll need to plan your trip. But once you’re there, it’s absolutely worth it.

Expensive and the menu items in my opinion are not worth the price. The resturant is neighbored by two great restaurants middle eastern style : Alameer and Palestine Nights. View is decent especially on the lower floor. Bear in mind the wash rooms are on the upper floor. Staff manager is a respectful gentleman The waiter who attended our table was not eager to serve and did not seem to be in the work mood

No complaints here! As the other reviewers have mentioned, the view is amazing and during the winter you can sit outside. For the summer, the interior aesthestics are also very welcoming. The food is plentiful and super tasty. We ordered the foul and tomato eggs. The dishes came with traditional bread. Good price point since the views/atmosphere are included. I can see why this restaurant has over 1500+ reviews! If you have people visiting from out of town, take them here for the Bahraini breakfast experience! Expect some wait time during peak hours!

Love their sausage rolls, chicken pizza and caramel-topped cake. It's a very cosy spot with a few tables. It's quiet so you can enjoy a snack and a good cup of coffee in peace. It's on a nice street in Zinj which never really has major traffic and there are parking spots right in front of the store. Reasonable prices too!

Great little bakery. You can find some Filipino pastries and a collection of other stuff. Donuts aren't bad and fluffier than Dunkin Donut. You might not see everything out if you come right when they open though.

Truly the greatest bakery in the vicinity. Planet Donut & Bakery has received a facelift not too long ago and what a facelift it was! The bakery has some great seating and the parquet flooring elevates the beauty to a whole new level. These guys have one of the greatest bakery options from Pizzeria, Garlic Pizza, and many more though be forewarned if you're planning to buy them - these things are so good that the bakery is usually out of stock by 4pm. Donuts are cheaper than Krispy Kreme and, in my opinion, taste better than it! These Hol'n One donuts are my favourite Donuts in Bahrain. Not littered with calorie-induced toppings, just a nice little chocolate topping with a puffy delicious base. The bakery has many other products ranging from spanish bread, pastries, sandwiches, to birthday cakes. The last of which brings me back to pre-2015 era when the bakery used to send you a birthday discount coupon of 15% every year (great way to retain customers). Planet Donut & Bakery have amazing options for Birthday Cakes which are all delicious (yes I've tried them all, over the years). Greatest bakery in Bahrain? Maybe, but definitely in this town!

Fuddruckers: best burgers are served here. This iconic eatery has been flipping burgers and winning hearts for decades. The charm is in its consistency: the kind of crispy fries and juicy burgers that haven’t changed since your parents first brought you there. Mughlai restaurant
Deccan Biryani Hyderabadi Restaurant is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Hyderabadi biryani in Bahrain. This charming eatery specializes in a variety of biryanis, including Sindhi, Beef, Chicken, and Mutton options. While the seating may be modest and the space limited, the rich flavors and traditional cooking techniques make every bite worthwhile. The restaurant's bustling location adds to its charm despite parking challenges.
My friends and I went out to enjoy Mutton Biryani for Eid, but it was sold out, so we opted for chicken biryani instead. The chicken biryani was also quite delicious, and the price was reasonable. Deccan Biryani imposed an additional charge for the mirchi salan, which is typically offered complimentary at other restaurants. There riata was exceptionally good and different taste.

The taste and the quality of the Biryani is not as expected compared with the price. Its a normal Biryani nothing special Over price

Being a Hyderabadi I was eager to give this place a try. Their biryani tastes good but not excellent. Unfortunately, It didn’t meet my expectations.
Isa N — Google review
Deccan Biryani offers one of the most flavorful and authentic Hyderabadi-style biryanis in Bahrain. Whether it’s mutton, chicken, or fish biryani, each dish is rich in traditional taste and cooked to perfection. This long-standing restaurant may be located in a busy area with limited parking, but the quality of the food makes it well worth the visit. Truly a hidden gem for biryani lovers!
Asaad F — Google review
Very Disappointing and very bad I had a very disappointing experience at Deccan Biryani recently. The food we were served seemed like it was just reheated in a microwave, lacking freshness and proper taste. Shockingly, they don’t even provide free drinking water – you’re forced to purchase bottled water. The service was equally poor; the cashier was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Moreover, the menu clearly states that VAT is included in the prices, but we were charged extra VAT at the counter, which is misleading and feels like a scam. Overall, this place has pathetic customer service, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’ll be reporting this issue to the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, Bahrain.
Thameem S — Google review
We recently placed a takeaway order and unfortunately found the overall dining experience underwhelming. The biryani lacked the depth of flavor we were hoping for, it tasted more like plain rice than a traditional biryani. The Chicken 65 was decent in taste, though the color was a bit too red for our preference. Service could have been better, as it took quite a while for the food to arrive despite the place not being busy. The mutton biryani had an oily layer at the bottom, and that portion didn’t taste very pleasant. The mirchy gravy, which was an additional charge, was average and could have used more flavor. The raita didn’t feel fresh, and it lacked the cool, refreshing quality we usually enjoy. Overall, the meal didn’t meet our expectations, and we felt it didn’t offer good value for the price. We hope the team takes this feedback constructively to improve the experience for future diners.
Ram T — Google review
I'm really disappointed with the experience at this restaurant. The service was poor, and it felt like the staff had no interest in treating customers with basic respect. We were ignored for long periods, and when we raised concerns, they were brushed off. Definitely not what you'd expect from a place that claims to care about its guests. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it to others

Biryani House Restaurant, a beloved gem in Manama since 2006, specializes in authentic Hyderabadi cuisine that will transport your taste buds straight to India. Renowned for its Dum Biryani, particularly the poultry version, this eatery has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. While the menu offers a variety of dishes, the biryani is truly the star of the show—richly flavored and perfectly cooked.
I love Hyderabadi biryani! It has a superb taste, 10/10. I strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Biryani House in Bahrain.

I don’t understand why they cook with so much of chilli powder and masala in their food items . Even original Hyderabadi restaurants in Hyderabad doesn’t use that much spices . Something wrong with management. 1. Go to YouTube and learn how to cook butter chicken , you can’t sell any chicken curry as butter chicken 2. Biryani will not be packed with 80% masala rice and 10% non masala rice . Book cheap indigo flight and go to Hyderabad to learn how biryani is served
N K — Google review
1.8 BHD for a plate of Biryani with ordinary ambience and poor service. Not worth it. It used to be 1.2 BHD that was fine. But recently they have increased their prices alot with 75% rice and 25% chicken I would not suggest this. Yes, if you are only concerned with food then you can have a go at it but overall, not impressive. Poor quality service, no Tissue boxes on the table when asked for tissue they cut the tissue roll used to dry hands and keep on table. That was the worst part. It would just cost 100 fils per customer or 50 fils per customer to keep tissue boxes but no.

Just for the name, it’s called Hyderabadi – but don’t be fooled. If you're looking to try authentic Hyderabadi biryani, I strongly advise you to avoid this restaurant. The restaurant is known for maintaining high standards in crafting delicious burgers and has garnered praise for its tasty offerings. With a focus on quality and service, Jasmi's has become a go-to destination for those seeking an alternative to fast food chains. Customers have enjoyed the unique flavors and variety of choices available, with favorites including the roast beef with mushroom burger.
I love Jasim’s French fries and chicken salad. And I love that’s it is right opposite Friend’s house cafe, where you can enjoy the rest - fresh sushi and shisha along with a retro ambience of 90th and Russian pop hits.

I had an iftar meal from jasmis, the sandwich was delicious, the chips just absolutely tasty, the service wasn't like back in the day the woman shouted excuse me rather than bring the food over, jasmis has tasty food but staff with bad attitude.

It is always enjoyable to indulge in the spicy offerings at KFC, even though on occasion the chicken may not be as hot or fresh as expected.
Very good food n service I like it
Waleed K — Google review
Very bad service, the staff are not professional especially the Egyptian staff wassim was very rude with his poor knowledge of KFC standard and procedures, the Filipino staff were rude too and that gives a sign of the low quality of customer service. The food was not fresh, the fries was very oily, the chicken was not fresh and over cooked. My experience with the food and the staff was totally bad for the amount I paid. I don't recommend this branch to any customer KFC management should train their staff properly and to focus at customer service and the quality of the food.

Kebab shop
Döner Master is a popular spot known for its quick home delivery and well-packed, hot food. Customers rave about the tasty chicken and beef döner sandwiches, fresh veggies, and delicious cheesy fries with dip sauce. The mix döner is a standout, being almost a foot long and loaded with juicy, creamy ingredients. The Doner Mountain Box is also recommended for its generous portions of thick fries, beef döner, and flavorful sauces.
The quality of the Doner Kebabs here may not be exactly like those in the UK, but it is the closest you will find in this area. The variety of options available, from sandwiches to wraps to burgers, is truly impressive. Many restaurants claim to offer Doner Kebabs, but none come as close to the real thing as this place does. It is definitely worth a try. Similar to German Donner.
Shaz M — Google review
"This is amazing" was the first thing that came to my mind but I spoke/thought too soon! 2 minutes into the meal and I realized Mix Doner is actually a type of loaded fries. It's basically 20% meat decorated on the top of a mountain of fries! It tastes really good but the quantity of fries makes the dish unbalanced. Fries should be supplementing the meat but it's the other way around.
Muhammad D — Google review
I ordered the Doner Kabab Box: steak cut fries topped with beef doner served with jalapeños, chili flakes and three sauces (Doner Master special, Garlic and Yo-ghurt & mint). Pretty tasty! Good price too at 2.8 BD.

A great place with a greater staff and let me start talking about the food it is amazing how tasty it is, I don’t know what they put in it but it’s like it’s out this world ... both chicken and beef are great but beef was a bit better tast ... the Peach ice tea was wonderful as well with a lot of foam above it ... try it and you’ll like it

We ordered home delivery and the food arrived in a very short time. It was still hot and the food was properly packed. We ordered chicken doner sandwich as well as meat and both were tasty and the veggies in the sandwich was fresh and yummy. The cheesy fries were so good and loved the dip sauce they offered with the cheese balls. Recommend to try this restaurant for sure. This time i ordered the Doner box 😋 , one with beef and the other chicken, we chose garlic sauce and tzatzaki sauce, comes on top of a bed of fries and sauces on top and jalapeño as well . Perfection !!

Five Guys is a popular fast-food chain known for its made-to-order burgers, hot dogs, and fries. They take pride in serving juicy grilled ground beef burgers with fresh ingredients and savory sauces. One unique aspect of their cooking is that they use only peanut oil and offer free peanuts while customers wait for their orders. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating, with the outdoor area providing a great view of the surrounding area.
For those curious, as mentioned in some of the reviews and on the internet, there are items not on the menu. I decided to try their “Animal Fries” which is fries, cheese, diced burger patty with grilled onions and ketchup/mayo/relish mix sauce on the side. If you’re from the USA and have tried Animal Style Fries from In-N-Out, this closely resembles it. Overall, coming in at around 5BD, it’s worth to try once to see how you like it.

One of my favorite burger places in Bahrain! 🍔 I had the regular cheeseburger with medium fries and it was really good. The burger was juicy and the fries were crispy. They also give bottomless drinks which is great! The place has indoor and outdoor seating. I love the outdoor seating because it has a nice view of Bahrain Bay. The staff are very friendly and kind. The prices are a bit high, but the food and service make it worth it. Definitely recommend if you love good burgers!

With friendly staff, clean environment and inexpensive prices it's hard to not enjoy your meal here. Not only is everything fresh, the patties are so tender it melt in your mouth....oh and did I mention that you choose what you want in your burger. That's just perfection right there.

One of my favorite burger places on the island Five guys in avenues mall! It has indoor and outdoor seating and the outdoor seating has a great view of the four seasons hotel and sea it will be a perfect meal with a view when the weather is fine. My favorite burger is from the secret menu! Not a lot of people know it ( the Godzilla burger and the animal fries). Both are from the secret menu and not available on the normal menu. If you like cheese and beef I really recommend the Godzilla burger. Staff is professional, clean and friendly to be honest this is my favorite restaurant in the avenues.

This was the first time I ever ate At five guys and definitely would be the last time, I went in with my wife and my one year old...... dont think I liked their tasteless meat which has no taste what so ever and on top of that they are extremely expensive for a dull tasteless burger!!! I ordered Ham burger which was BD 3.800 and it basically just has two beef patties in a normal bun it is not even potato bun it is just your average 0.100 fils bun you get at any cold store and then for a burger which is BD 3.800 they didn't even have a slice of cheese in it that is just disappointing all together!!!! Then my wife ordered Little cheese burger which was for BD 2.400 which just had one cheese slices and a patty and it's the same as mine tasteless the only taste in both the burgers was the spiciness of the jalapeno which we got added. Then we order one medium fries which was no doubt a huge amount but very small pieces.....but they had a good butter taste in it which is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars! Thennnnnn we ordered milkshakes to go with the burgers each milkshake was for BD 2.800 the milkshakes were thick and average just ok not that bad not that good! The food is also served in a takeaway paper bag and not a tray. Conclusion: The place looks amazing, the employees are very kind and helpful but BD 15.300 for just 2 burgers and 2 shakes which are not even good or even average is just cruel! the beef was tasteless I even tried it without the bun just to see and was just tasteless. I would rather eat at a local restaurant than this rip off any day of the year!
Hamad N — Google review
Double cheeseburger + Grilled cheese + milkshake all so good reasonable price, didn't like their sitting chairs and tables uncomfortable at all. The branch Manager/Supervisor unprofessional at all he just sat down directly on the table next to us on his phone speaking loudly with no manners.

Doner in The Box offers a variety of food options, including burgers and wrapdours. While some feel that there is room for improvement in terms of quality and pricing, the packaging was satisfactory.

A good place not too crowded with good lighting for taking photos of the food but bad presentation as they use plastic plates ... a bit overpriced as well ... the food tasted good and the portions was decent but not enough ... one time is good for me.

Dairy Queen - Manama offers classic fast-food favorites like burgers, fries, and crispy chicken meals. The spacious dining area showcases a variety of cakes and an array of ice cream flavors including the popular Mango Cheesecake with cheese bits that perfectly complement the sweetness. This is an iconic brand of Dairy Queen which has been there for many years. The atmosphere of a dinner is very cosy. The food options are good. One of the best places in Bahrain for onion rings .

With its old-fashioned, vintage décor, the oldest Dairy Queen provides a relaxing journey back in time. The peaceful and quiet settings, lovely ambience, and cosy seats make this the ideal place to unwind and enjoy. A fantastic fusion of memories and amazing ambience.

Dairy Queen - Salmaniya has such a timeless and classic design—it really took me back to my childhood and the early 2000s. The atmosphere is cozy and gives off a simple, nostalgic vibe that’s hard to find these days. The food was delicious and true to that classic DQ flavor. One of the best experiences I’ve had! The staff were also very kind and helpful. I highly recommend visiting if you're looking for something simple, classic, and full of good vibes.

The oldest and best DQ branch in Bahrain with a very vintage and clean interior. Service was quick and food had a fresh and high quality taste. Most definitely the best and tastiest fast food burger in Bahrain. Can’t wait to go back and highly recommend to all as a substitute to the other franchises.

Many many years back, as a child, whenever I visited Bahrain, we would be taken to this Dairy Queen Branch. It has so much childhood memory. So it was fitting to take my 8 year old daughter to the exact same branch that I used to visit as an 8 year old. We had the Blizzard which, even after almost 20 years, is as good. What made me sad is the state of the place. It was not taken care of properly, it was empty and lost its soul.. That made me sad. Still, I was happy to share this memory with my daughter.

Saeed — Google review
Two years ago I wrote the great place review below and it all stands firm. At a short visit recently a new manager (I did not know) Suresh, was doing a really great job and being an excellent Dairy Queen brand ambassador, Haji a long standing staff member remembered me and greeted me like an old friend. The food was superb, the restaurant absolutely stunning in presentation and the toilets amazingly clean. The burgers are genuinely outstanding and beyond comparison to the normal fast food outlet big names. When you feel welcomed, comfortable surrounded by wonderful food and it is convenient, clean and that good that patrons arrange to see you there - you are in the right place and exactly where you are supposed to be. Well done to the owners of Dairy Queen! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏆🥇 Two years ago I wrote this:- Dairy Queen Manama - what an awesome DQ outlet. Having visited often over the years, today - greeted by an incredibly positive, energised and polite courteous staff member "Ahood", I am reminded exactly what customer service is all about. Well done Ahood for 5 star treatment from the moment we walked in. This location has an incredibly large indoor seating area, a fully visible kitchen area and a range of well presented menus and products to select from. The staff appear happy, energised and positive and want the customers to be happy too. Good happy staff = good happy supervisors = good happy management!! - well done DQ executive team who I am sure also have these characteristics. Fast service, great food and good value for money make DQ the local restaurant chain to favour. It was a pleasure to observe training taking place today overseen by Hassan (a very experienced management figure by all appearances) and Cristian the DQ Group Restaurant Training Manager Anyone wanting a wonderful family environment that is spotless and clean, restrooms that are hospital standard and ample parking (enough for all visitors) will not be disappointed when visiting this restaurant. A truly great place and one of the fast food legends in Bahrain. My personal rating - FIVE STARS
