I discovered this place on my last day and made a super quick visit. I only tried the cake and coffee, but both were absolutely delicious! Definitely worth it, and I’ll come back to try more next time.

I didn’t feel rushed at any point, and the relaxed yet sophisticated vibe made it easy to unwind and enjoy every moment.

Lovely place and staff. The food was great we went couple of times even though I don’t live in Bahrain. The mac and cheese was lovely, hummus was good and the shish barak was delicious.

We had breakfast at The Orangery, and it was such a lovely experience! The omelet was really delicious — they even added some spinach for me, which made it perfect. Mary Jane, who took our order, was incredibly sweet, friendly, and full of positive energy. She made us feel so comfortable and truly added warmth to the whole experience. the atmosphere was lovely,, theres a beautiful fountain and we visited during the day, so it was pleasantly cool. The hummus was tasty, the maneesh wasn’t anything extraordinary, it was still decent. The chocolate cake was genuinely good, though the surprise was unfortunately spoiled when a staff member asked my friend which cake she had ordered, even though she had already pointed it out before we were seated. Still, the staff were overall very friendly and welcoming.

We had a very bad experience with the staff at this location. We have been patrons of this location for the past 10years and have never such rude and uncouth behavior by staffs. A staff who was called “Raju Bhai “ was the one who we dealt with and he was very rude and doesn’t have any business handling customers if this establishment wants to keep having business. He didn’t want to help us and kept grumbling and mumbling and was very standoffish. We visited at 12:50 pm on Monday 6th January. Appalling behavior and attitude by this one person ruined our entire experience.

This place is phenomenal! The baklava and kunafa are over the top delicious. The staff is so helpful and answer any question you may have and allow you to sample before purchasing. The packaging itself is superb - good enough to make a gift. So many tasty treats 😋😋😋😋

Very low and cheap quality they are using. The cake taste and packing was horrible. I complaint for the same to customer care but they didn’t gave any attention to my complaint. They don't have any solution for the customer complaint. Very disappointed with the service.

My go-to branch of Tariq pastries. Friendly & accomodating staff offering good service. The branch is decent enough as well. Only downfall i feel for this one is no parkingg available :( You have to have your stars aligned to get a parking around that area! 😂 Besides that all good. The place offers some yumm cakes & pastries, baklava & other arabic sweets. Also favourite are their tinyyy pizzas that can be warmed up on request ❤️

We visited this restaurant and it was very nice place ,we have enjoyed thier pasta with tikaa. Beryani chicken was ok but need fried onion and nuts as topping . The mergeta pizza was not up to mark and no taste at all. The staff was great and cooperative.

Furniture and seating arrangement is impractical. Decor is nice but not enough to save this place. I could see this work as just a cafe. For a dining experience head elsewhere.

Red croissant is one of my favorite bakeries in Bahrain, they serve fresh organic & delicious Variety of desserts & savoury items . Their cakes are amazing 😍lots of healthy options too my personal favorite is their seed bread . Highly recommend the coffee from their Seef outlet.

Red Croissant Bakery has been the go to place for cakes and pastries when in Bahrain. We had ordered the pistachio chocolate cake and it was so beautifully made adding the amazing taste it had… we still relish the taste. Located in the nicely built Juffair Square which is now a popular hang out place in Juffair, this bakery has some really good options.

The ambience inside the bakery is fantastic, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, adding to the overall experience. I recently tried their Ferrero Rocher filled mini donuts, and I must say, I couldn't resist the taste. They were perfectly baked to perfection, for sure leaving a lasting impression. Well-deserved 5 stars! A great place to meet friends outdoors, read, listen ... Very friendly and professional service, delicious pastries at very good prices, great coffee, comfortable armchairs. Real relaxation! Recently, I discovered the possibility of having breakfast - delicious! Very efficient websites and Internet search. WhatsApp can be used without any reservations! I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of running the company - such quality is unfortunately rare in Bahrain. We come back here often because it's worth it :-)

Once red croissant opened in Bahrain,, it became out go to distention for all kind of bakeries from bread & croissants to stuffed buns and pastries the donuts are too good as well as the cookies. Simple, everything there is delicious 😋

To complete the meal, I opted for a simple black coffee. I'm pleased to report that every element of my breakfast was delicious. The Eggs Benedict were executed flawlessly, with perfectly poached eggs and a rich, velvety hollandaise sauce. The toasted bread was crisp and provided a satisfying contrast in texture. However, the real star of the show might have been the hotcakes. They were light and fluffy, and the combination of the sweet berries and the incredibly moreish signature buttery spread was simply divine. Even the black coffee was well-brewed and robust, providing the perfect caffeine kick. Beyond the exceptional food, what truly elevated my experience was the attentiveness of the staff. From the moment I was seated until I left, they were consistently friendly, efficient, and readily available without being intrusive. Great location, and if you’re going during the week you shouldn’t have any issues with finding parking. Weekends are busy and recommend taking an uber or using the parking garage.

A charming spot with a beautifully classic and vintage ambiance that instantly makes you feel at ease. We tried the “Zadig” and “La Joie du Matin” dishes along with some tea, everything was freshly made, rich in flavor, and absolutely delicious. If it wasn't for the friendly and accommodating service from the FOH team, this place would struggle to get a single star. We came here for breakfast after looking at all their high reviews, but I'm convinced they're all rigged. The food came out cold. Eggs were cold and literally pre-cooked. Croissant was stale. You can tell them none of the food were cooked to order. Not to mention the coffee. Easily one of the worst we've had in Bahrain. I'm convinced they'd forgot the coffee as it was all milk. Then we made another mistake by ordering the cake. Just like the croissant, old and stale. Would we be back? Nope. Would we recommend to others? Nope.

Cake dedication is terrible. I asked customer support if he could adjust, but he told it was computerised. I was not anticipating the level of attention that was demonstrated, which did not justify the expensive price. I had been a customer for many years, and it was frustrating to receive this kind of order. Tell me, does the dedication look appealing?

It is like a warm hug from your favorite childhood memory. The balance of sweetness was spot-on; not too sugary, allowing the nutty notes and rich chocolate to really shine. And it is served slightly warm for the feeling of absolute heaven. It’s one of those desserts that invites you to pause, savor, and maybe even do a happy little dance. Very popular spot in Adliya for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is usually good and the coffee is drinkable. The sweet selection is great here so don’t miss it. The croissants are spot on and melt in your mouth basically. With the weather cooling down, it’s the perfect time to enjoy the outside seating area, especially in the mornings.

Passed by for a breakfast and had overall a good experience. The prices were fair, the food fresh and well done, the almond croissant was one of the best I ever had. The staff are very professional.

Afternoon Tea is an enjoyable past time for me and the Four Seasons is by far the best. Tasty savories and the scones are clearly freshly made and warm when brought to table. Presentation is amazing and artistic for all the sandwiches. The meals themselves are superb and I'd say for the quality and excellent service the value is reasonable.

This has become my new favourite spot to hang out in Bahrain for several reasons. Of course the ambience, music and view from the terrace are very nice, and the menu is good and reasonably priced. However, for me it is the service that really elevates Bay View Lounge to another level. The staff are incredibly professional and pleasant! I am often served by Sayed and Philip when I come here and they are absolutely wonderful! I cannot praise them enough. I always look forward to coming back to Bay View Lounge.

I had afternoon tea here during my stay at the four seasons, all parts of the afternoon tea were tasty and amazingly made. Not 5 stars as I was disappointed no mention of my wife's birthday was made, even though it was noted during booking.

The outdoor seating area is a highlight, though it can get quite hot and humid—it’s not the most comfortable, but still manageable. The overall experience is enjoyable and worth repeating. However, the main downside is the consistently long wait time for a table; I don’t recall ever being seated in under 45 minutes, even on weekdays. Additionally, the service staff can be hard to flag down at times. That said, the prices are very reasonable, which adds to the value

Delicious food, big portions..I especially liked the salad. I recommend they create and application or website as interaction between the restaurant and waiting people. Every time I came the minimum waiting time was 45 minutes. The application would allow me to check online while waiting somewhere else instead of going back and forth checking because they don't call you when the table is ready

This was my second time visiting Cocoa Restaurant after 10 years, and I’m so impressed how the food quality is still outstanding! The atmosphere gives a truly authentic Hispanic vibe, which makes the dining experience even more enjoyable 💕 We had the quinoa salad and the chile risotto chicken based on our server’s recommendation. Both were delicious, but the chicken stood out creamy, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying. A small note: it’s a bit fatty and heavy , so maybe not the best choice if you’re on a diet 😊 On top of that, the pricing is so affordable for the quality you get ! Overall I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back again!

Think high-end dining without the pretense: fine food, excellent service, a tasteful setting, and not a single “gestapo” waiter to scold you for wearing sandals and a T-shirt. The menu is extensive, with a wide range of options—some outstanding, others less memorable—but the guidance of a knowledgeable waiter made all the difference. His recommendations were spot on and greatly enhanced the experience. Starters An absolute must-try is their sashimi. The salmon with za’atar is an inventive fusion that works beautifully, while the spicy tuna tataki was perfectly seared and flavorful. Even the miso soup—often an overlooked staple—was excellent, though I’ll touch on pricing later. I also sampled the beef rolls as a hot starter. While the concept was unique, the execution fell short for me, as the beef was slightly overcooked. A one-time experience, but not one I’d revisit. Sushi The sushi sampler was an artistic presentation of flavors and textures, with standout freshness. The salmon sushi in particular (please refer to the menu for the specific name) was a highlight. Each bite was a harmonious blend of visual appeal and taste—a testament to thoughtful curation. Main Course & Beverage The Wagyu Kobe beef cubes were the centerpiece of the meal. Ordered medium rare, the beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender—this is no exaggeration. Unfortunately, the dish arrived cold, which detracted from what could have been a flawless experience. Steak should not rest for more than 3–5 minutes before serving. Thankfully, the accompanying fried rice was served piping hot, and when combined with the beef, it elevated the flavor profile, creating a balanced, multi-dimensional dish. The Chardonnay, served perfectly chilled, was aromatic and complemented the meal wonderfully. Ambience & Service The service and ambience go hand in hand—both refined yet relaxed. The atmosphere invites calm, and the background music contributes to an overall sense of serenity. The staff strike a fine balance between attentiveness and discretion. Final Thoughts Maki Bahrain is a must-visit culinary destination. I would easily add it to any Bahrain travel checklist. While the pricing is undoubtedly on the higher end, the quality of food and the overall experience make it worth considering for a return visit. A few tweaks, especially around temperature control for hot dishes, could elevate it from excellent to unforgettable experience.

While the service was great and the waiter was hospitable and friendly; unfortunately, the food fell short in several aspects: 1. Temperature: despite being the only guests, the food wasn't served at the expected warmth. 2. The Mixed Grill lacked the distinctive Persian flavor that we were hoping for, and other dishes like hummus and tahjeen needed improvement in taste. 3. The prices were quite high compared to the quality of food, especially when compared to other Persian restaurants in Bahrain. Overall, while the service was commendable, the food and value didn't quite meet our expectations.

Their gelato is tasty, especially the pistachio flavor but the cone with double scoop is 2.8 BD, which is overpriced in comparison with other ice cream shops.

The ice cream here is amazing and dilicius. It has unique taste. You must try it, it is in front of the cinema tickets counters. It is also a coffee shop and dessert shop. The ice cream is freshly made on the spot. However the wafel cones are not the best. So go for the cup. The customer service is very good. The yougurt flavor is my favorite although the other flavors are very good too

It was a good experience. We visit Bushido Seef twice and it offers an excellent dining experience with a wonderful ambiance that really sets the mood. We especially enjoyed the unlimited sushi, it was fresh, flavorful, and had a great variety. The matcha ice cream was a delightful surprise and the perfect way to end the meal. While the meat we ordered was slightly overcooked, the overall quality of the food and atmosphere made up for it. A great spot for sushi lovers and anyone looking to enjoy a memorable evening!

I went to Bushido tonight and honestly, it was such a great experience. The evening was super fun, and the atmosphere was so good. I loved the live music band it really added a special vibe to the night. The food was amazing, especially if you’re into sushi; everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. and the drinks were amazing, the place itself looks beautiful, with a design that mixes elegance and authentic Japanese style. it’s the kind of spot you’ll want to come back to. Totally recommend it!

Bushido in Bahrain is one of my favorite places to dine and unwind. The atmosphere is amazing — elegant yet vibrant, especially with the live music that adds a unique energy to the evening. The food is consistently delicious, with beautifully presented dishes and a wide variety of flavors. We especially love the Sushi Madness on Wednesdays — all-you-can-eat sushi is a dream! The Friday and Saturday brunches are also fantastic. Bushido always delivers a top-notch experience.

The Breakfast Club 😍. A gem within the bustling Adliya, The Nest. Great service, presentation and portions. Will definitely visit this restaurant again. Their menu has some great options from Lebanese, All Indian to American Breakfasts (and much more). The restaurant has a very unique setup as evident in the pictures (look at the tables structure) Give them a chance! You won't regret it.

Surprisingly good! My expectations were fairly low, expecting high prices and poor food. But the contrary was true. I ordered the full Indian breakfast, which could easily feed two people. While the eggs and potatoes lacked salt, that's all I could really fault. And really good value for money. The place does get extremely busy, so if you're going in the morning for breakfast either go early or expect to wait for your table. One of my fave dishes was Chicken Fight - chicken + waffles - but they've started putting potato pieces in the waffle and they're not cooked properly! Bring back th old waffles!

This is an amazing breakfast joint where they offer great food options and variety. Their eggs Benedict is to die for, and their lotus pancakes are delicious as well. The coffee is great, and juice options as well. The place can get a bit crowded on weekends, but the wait is not more than 10 to 20 mins usually. Food was delivered fairly quickly and met our expectations. Our server Gopal was just attentive enough and friendly. I was lucky enough to just walk in and be seated, I have been visited for couple times but the waiting list was so long. I had ordered the Eggs Benedict, Fluffy pancakes and coffee vanilla late. Eggs Benedict is superb, instead of strip turkey, I replace it with beef bacon. The big portion that would make you full. Fluffy Pancake it was too sweet for me with that chocolate Definitely recommend if you're in Bahrain. We would go back again. Everything is yummy. The view is beautiful. Belgian waffle is a must 👌🏻

A bit late in sharing this, but I discovered a hidden gem for authentic Pakistani breakfast in Manama. I visited on December 9, 2022, and tried their Halwa Puri—it instantly took me back to the streets of Lahore. The crispy puris and flavorful halwa were absolutely delightful.

The food was average — not too tasty, but not bad either. However, the dining area definitely needs improvement to enhance the overall experience. Other aspects, such as service and cleanliness, were good.

They have the best Falooda here. When you go on ask for the Falooda and then request for extra Malai. You will be in heaven. They also have a great selection of sweets to choose from.

I was in a mood for a halwa poori as I was close to the Souq and a local guy recommended this place to me. Everytime I go to Bahrain I must go to Murooj Almuharraq, the sweets there are super fresh and too tasty, you can smell the freshness of the sweets even before you enter the shop, staff there are super friendly and awesome, proves are top reasonable, area is very traditional and it gives you the feeling of having a traditional Bahraini sweets. We went here on a Thursday night, started to get pretty busy around 8PM. The pricing was quite reasonable, we ordered a nice bottle of wine and a quinoa salad to start. We sat outside because that’s where most of the other patrons were seated. For the entree, I ordered the tapas sampler. That portion could have been an appetizer for a couple people or a standard entree for one.

This pinkberry location is in the Avenues Mall of Bahrain, right across Beverly Hills Polo club and next to Asha’s Restaurant. We ordered pomegranate and strawberry frozen yogurt. Tasted really delicious. The staff was really nice welcoming and fast.

I stopped by at the Kane Mochi stand at Al Aali Mall and was very impressed with their service and product. As the only mochi ice cream store in Bahrain, they offer a unique dessert with a cool variety of flavors. I did find it a bit overpriced though.

I’m actually a regular customer of kanemochi from 3 years back and last night we ordered 12 pieces mochi at the food festival (21 feb) for takeaway and the lady only gave 5 pieces of sticks. Asked for extra and she didn’t give any. Mind you one 12 piece box is about 13BD which is already way overpriced so being stingy with the serving sticks is no reason. Disappointed and probably won’t be back anytime soon.

Mochi Mochi Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice, and sometimes other ingredients like water, sugar, and cornstarch. The rice is pounded into paste and molded into the desired shape with ice cream filling. (thanks google). One mochi is not enough so we had to try many of their delicious mochi, although we ordered passion fruit twice (obviously our fav). We also try their charcoal lemonade as we’re curious 🤔 and it’s good. Saada branch of Co co dip has got to be the worst! Unfortunately the complete experience was bad. Every staff was rude and hardly spoke. She just came forward and asked what’s your order!? Upon receiving, mango truffle had the steel cup around and no one bothered to remove it and I didn’t receive the mango juice to be poured over it. When I complained that the cake base was so dry like old bread, both the philipino staff just said ‘oh okay sir’ 😑 Sansebastian cheesecake was extreme dry and was unlike anything I have had in any of the coco dip branches. Sad part- I got the melted chocolate in a paper cup (the same which was used to serve Arabic coffee). A lot needs to be changed here for the potential this brand has and also for the location! Good luck

I'm a huge fan of CoCo Dip. I'm always ordering from Talabat. We had to pull up to the spot this time. Of course, the sweets here hit real real hard, but the atmosphere is pretty quaint as well. If you get a sweet tooth and gotta have some sweets. CoCo Dip is highly rated.

We went to LeChocolat for dinner a few days ago. It was a Friday, so the restaurant was packed. We had to wait for a table, but it was only about 7 minutes. We ordered the Ebi Tempura Sushi (BD4.900), which is always our favorite. It was delicious, as usual. Then we got two large pizzas. One was the LeChocolat Special (BD5.900), and the other was the Pollo Chicken Pizza (BD5.900). Both pizzas were disappointing. They were cold, and they didn't have much flavor. We won't be ordering those pizzas again. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we got a slice of Tiramisu (BD2.700) and a scoop of Dark Chocolate Ice Cream (BD1.200). The Tiramisu was delicious, and the ice cream struck the perfect balance of sweetness. For drinks, we opted for a large bottle of Water (BD1.900). Overall, our dining experience this time was a bit of a mixed bag, but we'll definitely go back to LeChocolat!

The chocolate range are very rich and good in texture, especially Montana which is their most ordering one. Cuppacinno is just ok. Their hot chocolate is rich as well. One of the best 10 top restaurants in Bahrain 🇧🇭. I personally rank it 3rd best. One of the best of its kind in serving quality stakes which is made to perfection. Also not to mention the verify of salads available on menu. Looking for the best and traditional pizzas 🍕 and pasta 😋 then you are in the right place, as pizzas are backed with wood and topped with your selection of cheese 🧀 and other toppings. I have never had this experience in any other restaurants on Island, as staff are friendly and professional. Amazingly the Chef came around the tables explaining to us how the food is cooked and this was so interesting. My sincere 💛 complements to the Chef 👩‍🍳. I will for sure visit Le Chocolat again and again.

There is not to love about this place. I loved the elegant yet simple Victorian style interior and the big glass front which made the whole place very well light naturally. One of my friends asked for an item which was not on the menu. The waiter and the chef went out of their way to make it. The Napolitan pizza was excellent. The French toast is a must try. I have visited the Lamar Cafe with my friend, the vibes of the cafe is so cool and kind of luxury. We have tried Semillon Drink which we liked and recommended. I have been staying at the Hilton for the past two months and I have a coffee down at Lamar almost every morning. Julie is an awesome barista and person. Her cappuccinos are always perfect and she always is so cheerful. She makes me feel like I am enjoying a coffee at home. Hussain brings an awesome amount of energy in the afternoons and makes incredible cocktails and coffee. When my stay at Hilton is over I will miss the staff at Lamar deeply.

Excellent marble cake. I would take it as the best pound cake so far in MEA. Chocolate shell is not sweet to death and the cake structure is perfect, neither wet nor greasy. Will be back again

Nice atmosphere during weekdays. We had the Quinoa Beetroot Salad, a bit expensive and tasted OK. We also had the Beef Tenderloin Steak, Cheese Sandwich (sauces on the side). It tasted good. Overall, nice place for a light lunch.

I love to just sit and grab dessert at this lovely Turkish restaurant. It's got a great ambience and delicious food. I always come for the ice cream baklava and the mistika & pistachio ice cream. I have yet to try any main courses on their menu but I'm sure everything they serve is delicious.

The first and last time .. the food was not fresh and it seemed prepared 2days ago. The Turkish coffee and tea were good. The service was perfect and the atmosphere was exceptional. Try it yourself…. But don’t order sweetie food.

Nice location and very quiet, however the sound of the chief and waiter speaking is loud. The sweet was below expected as it maybe stay there for long time (not fresh). Service was below expectations as they served the food and disappeared.

The seating area was very bright and specious, beautiful seating area. Nevertheless, When we ordered they got us complementary bread sticks with a sauce that looked like bigmac sauce but it was it had a funky smell and it was definitely gone bad (fermented) not edible (food poisoning) surprisingly when the waitress was informed about it she simply responded (this is the only sauce we have) And the salad had some wilted greens and the ends were blackish (not so fresh). The chicken burger was ok Shrimp pasta was below average for me The cake for a cake boutique it wasn't hitting any spots ( deflated ).

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Inedible Cheesecake!! I had high hopes when ordering the San Sebastian cheese cake from Cake Boutique, but unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of awful. I ordered the cheesecake (14,5 BHD ex delivery/service fees) for my son's 5th birthday, expecting a rich, creamy cake, but what I received was a complete disaster. The cheesecake had a strong chemical taste, as if it had been made with artificial ingredients or had gone bad. The texture was off, and it was clearly NOT FRESH—it tasted OLD and STALE!! Clearly cheap factory made with poor quality ingredients. Furthermore, the cake was much smaller than it looked on Talabat. Because it was for my son's birthday, I decided to take the cake back to their shop. After explaining to several employees, the manager was called. But she didn't want to speak with me, as the children already had consumed a part of the cake (before I could taste it and threw it away). So then the chef was asked to taste the cake and (of course) he said nothing was wrong, all their cheese cakes taste the same! And in the end they concluded: "Because Talabat delivered the cake, they cannot do anything for us unfortunately". I would advise the chef to visit San Sebastián and taste the original tarta de queso...it will be a very embarrassing experience. My strong advise for others is to stay away if they value quality and customer service. A complete waste of money!!

I go the carrot cake for my girl's birthday and it was delicious. Everyone loved it. Super moist, moderately sweet, and very flavorful. One of the best cakes we've had!

I was extremely happy with my experience at Cake Boutique and the wonderful service courtesy of their manager, Manal. The venue is divided into a bakery and a beautiful cafe where you can enjoy breakfast, cakes, pastries and hot or cold drinks. We've ordered their cakes on several occasions (mainly birthdays) and they're always fresh and delicious; our favourites are the carrot cake, and the strawberry and pistachio cake. It's very beautifully decorated so make sure to take plenty of pictures and maybe visit with family and friends.

An amazing place in Bahrain for cakes currently. Have tried most of their cakes n love em all. San Sebastian, chocolate hazelnut coffee cake, carrot cake & the fruit cake are my fave. The cakes are soo fluffy n delicious. The saffron milk cake and creme brulee are amazing too The soaked saffron milk cake was not too sweet and also not over powered by floral earthy saffron flavour. The creme brulee had a good solid galzed glass like layer on top. The creme dint have an excessive yolk taste to it which is why i thoroughly enjoyed it. San Sebastian and carrot cakes are soo fluffy n yummy. Fruit cake has a good thick layer of fresh fruits on top. The packing boxes are lovely and pretty sturdy too. Highly recommend CB to all cake lovers for all occasions.

I went today to the Cake Boutique - Seef branch to order a cake for my gender reveal party. I had already contacted them through WhatsApp, and they told me it would take 2 hours to make. So, I went to place my order in person and give them the paper with the gender written on it. The Filipino worker there didn’t greet us, and her attitude was awful—she lacked any sense of professionalism. We told her about the WhatsApp conversation and that we wanted to order a bento cake, and we handed her the folded paper with the gender written on it. She said, “No, we don’t make cakes in 2 hours, they take at least one day.” While we were explaining the WhatsApp conversation, she flipped the paper in our faces, showing us the gender, and said, “We don’t make this one.” This is totally unacceptable. She ruined my gender reveal party, and on top of that, I had to learn the gender in this way! If she didn’t want to work, she should quit her job instead of ruining other people’s special days. And yes, she didn’t even apologize for what she did.

We ordered a cake for Eid on talabat. It was very disappointing … not like the pictures , very small and on some random plate ? The whole cake in general is not fresh and once you remove the plastic surrounding the cake it will fall apart and be very hard to present to any guests … Nothing from the order was right . The handwriting on the top is messy too. So sad we used to order from CB all the time. This is probably the last time.

Can’t comment on food because I arrived in the morning but even after calling out to waitress/attendant a few times there was radio silence. Which was surprising considering that the same person asked me to choose my order. I guess she forgot. Second visit: Late morning coffee and red velvet cake. Coffee is good, I ordered a latte and the complementary pistachio chocolate was amazing! The red velvet cake is a different story. The red sponge is fluffy but heavy with syrup and subtracts from the flavor profile a bit. Generally, red velvet cakes are supposed to give you an acidic taste as vinegar and cocoa powder are part of the recipe. Anyway, I appreciate that the cake with the frosting is not too sweet but I am missing the tang in the cream cheese frosting as well. I feel the restaurant could do so much better with the food. I can confidently say that they specialize in chocolates and macaroons but everything else is passé.

We ordered a cake and it arrived with the icing damaged- it was cracked and squeezed. When we contacted them they said we should return it so they can fix it. The party was on that afternoon and we had to keep it. They then offered a 10% on our next order! Only? That’s like 3 dinars? And on Next order? No refund on this order after spoiling the graduation party? No attempt to offer sending another cake from the ready ones in the cafe? No feeling of embarrassment? As if this is a normal thing that happens often at their cafe.

Some of the cakes are good but some are very average and pricey which is why it got 2 stars, the other reason is because of their terrible customer service and care. We ordered birthday cakes and specifically asked them to call us before delivery because it is a surprise, the cakes were delivered without calling so the surprise and the whole party was ruined, we asked for a compensation and they gave us a 20% discount on cakes, so we wanted to order another birthday cake, but they said sorry the discount doesn't apply on these cakes. This shop is only recommend for a few specific cakes if you have the extra cash, if not then you're better off elsewhere.

The most famous sweets shop in Bahrain lives up to its reputation in terms of taste and variety. Unfortunately, the worker was extremely rude and spoke to my wife in a manner I didn't appreciate. Luckily the manager got involved and cleared the misunderstanding. They need to teach their workers how to respect people and train them on the basics of customer service.

The shop in Marassi Galleria. It is my first visit and try. Small shop but have varieties of products (as in the pictures). The famous thing in the shop is the regag bread خبز رقاق fresh made infront of you, and you can choose "the filling". My favourite is cheese regag cost BD 1. There is no seating inside. You have to pay and wait in a queue till you receive your order. Then, you can take it and have it outside the shop.

The best desert place in Bahrain (atleast for me). We ordered two deserts : cookie dough & crepe. The presentation was amazing and the first bite of their warm cookie dough gave me the satisfaction that "this is it".
