Fountains
King Fahad's Fountain, also known as the Jeddah Fountain, is a must-visit attraction located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It holds the title of being the world's tallest water fountain and can be seen from various parts of the city. Donated by King Fahd, it was constructed between 1980 and 1983 and launched in 1985.
A wonderful place to spend ur time. If u reach around 3:30pm, you would get plenty of free space to station urself. The water at the bay is very clear and u can spot beautiful fishes, even stingray. Loved the place. Its wheelchair accessible. No tickets required. Fountain starts at 6pm sharp.
Ahmed A — Google review
It is one of our regular evening spot. There is nice garden, play area for children and long side walk. Sitting in the lawn with the view of the fountain is something special. You can spread a mat and get some food and spend a quality time with your friends and family. In weekends car parking will be an issue.
Vardha — Google review
Very impressive especially during sundown. Hours of operation in Google is false. It starts at 6:00 every day. It's the highest fountain of it's kind
George T — Google review
Protip: Take your own food items and a matt to sit on. Wonderful place, especially for families. Good weather, awesome atmosphere, great views and no entry fee whatsoever. You can also enjoy with friends and have a nice chat there.
Haseeb J — Google review
I loved it there! It was a very peaceful place to visit! There was a play area for kids so children could enjoy their time while looking at the view! There were no tickets required!
Fatima K — Google review
The Tallest Fountain in the World! King Fahd's Fountain is an absolute must-see when in Jeddah. Located right on the Red Sea Corniche, this isn't just a fountain—it's a truly spectacular landmark. I visited in the evening, and that's definitely the best time to go. The fountain is lit up by over 500 colored spotlights, and the sight of the water jetting hundreds of meters into the night sky is breathtaking. The atmosphere around the fountain is wonderful. The corniche is a vibrant place to walk, with plenty of families and friends enjoying the sea breeze. It’s a great spot for a stroll, a picnic, or just to sit and take in the view. You can see the fountain from many different parts of the city, but being close to it really gives you a sense of its scale and power. It's completely free to visit, which makes it an accessible and fantastic option for a fun evening out. The only thing to note is that it can get quite crowded, so if you want to find a good spot, it's best to arrive a bit before sunset. A perfect place to relax and enjoy one of Jeddah's most iconic sights.
Reem S — Google review
Very nice, not too crowded just lovely place!

"King Fahad Fountain in Jeddah is a breathtaking sight! As the largest fountain in the world, it's a must-see attraction. The sheer power and beauty of the water shooting high into the air, illuminated at night, is truly mesmerizing. A great spot for photos and relaxation. Highly recommend visiting!"

Al Shallal Theme Park in Jeddah is a must-visit destination for families and thrill-seekers. This popular amusement park offers a wide range of attractions, including roller coasters, educational boat rides, and gravity-defying experiences like zero gravity. The lively vibes and joyfulness make it a top choice for tourists visiting Saudi Arabia.
The theme park was beautifully planned and maintained extremely well. It had special play area for toddlers, which was a relief. The cafes and restaurants were unique with good quality of food. The ticketing system was very quick and there was no waiting time of any sort. Bowling, ice skating, gaming arcades and all sorts of rides were available. Definitely a must visit if you are visiting Jeddah with children.
Berti R — Google review
A great spot for an evening out! Fun rides, nice food options, and a peaceful lake view. Perfect for kids and families to enjoy quality time together. 😍🎢
Hamad ( — Google review
For Saudi Arabia, it's a huge first, not like any other park like it I assume. But the thrill rides last somewhere between barely 3-50 seconds. You can only do those once even on your tags. The park opens at 4pm does to summer heat and stays open till 1am. I thought it would crowded and busy on a summer night because of the kids breaks from school but most of the people started coming in around 10. Even then you get your turn after 2nd or 3rd. Place is clean. Rides well looked after. Ice rink is great. Lots of indoor games for toddlers like sparky's.
Ume-IYMAN — Google review
Very good entertaining place. Games yard gives you a feeling of narrowness where all games are next to each other and with small or medium sizes to fit in the space. The internal games hall is the best there; Appropriate space with good attractive design, also it has a attractive games, I really enjoyed it and the ice skating arena. I recommend this park as it has many entertaining options and as it a very good place to have a nice time.

Hi all, last week aug29th 2025 we visited....it's very nice experience we went for 140sar package it's completely worst it nd we r really enjoyed it👍must visit...all rides r working nd good management also..
Sameera 5 — Google review
Not recommended for kids under 7. Not enough number of rides for kids/ toddlers. Rides available have low thrill and some of them are out of service. Vibe and entertainment are dull for anyone group Prices against quality time provided are high Not recommend if you have visited any other theme park in your life, you will hate the experience at Shallal.
Abdul M — Google review
Very nice arrangements and I personally loved the ice skating track as my kids enjoyed a lot there. Entry fees of 35 sar is not worth. Management shall look into it to attract more people Thanks a lot
Mohammed N — Google review
This is a fun place but not if you are looking for large rollercoasters, there is only one real rollercoaster but plenty of other rides that have a good thrill, there's a nice boat ride which you can rent, not too pricey but can add up as most big rides or side attractions are not included in the wrist band. Nice in the evening time as it's more cooler!

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Fakieh Aquarium is a must-visit destination for those seeking an immersive experience with marine life. Located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, it is the only public aquarium in the country and boasts over 200 species of sea creatures from the Red Sea. Visitors can marvel at sharks, groupers, string rays, napoleon wrasse, sea horses, green turtles, and more. The aquarium plans to expand its collection to include even more fascinating underwater residents like the sea dragon.
As an avid nature enthusiast, I was truly captivated by this extraordinary experience. The abundance of exotic aquatic species, many of which were unfamiliar to me, made it a memorable encounter. The reasonable pricing further enhanced the appeal of this destination, making it an ideal choice for family outings. I eagerly anticipate witnessing the dolphin show during my next visit.
Faisal K — Google review
Visited recently and had a wonderful experience! The place is well-maintained, clean, and beautifully designed. I really enjoyed seeing the variety of marine life — from colorful fish to unique sea creatures, it's a treat for both kids and adults. It's not too crowded, which makes the visit peaceful and enjoyable. The staff was helpful and polite, and everything was well-organized. A great spot for families, especially if you're looking for an educational and fun outing. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Jeddah!
Nabiha G — Google review
Worth to visit with kids . Rare and unseen creatures are there to impress us . Hats off to the one who is maintaining and keeping very clean and fishes are seems healthy . I went with my family with a family package. Ticket for family package is less compared to single tickets . But still the price is high ,they can reduce if possible it would be much appreciated and helpful for all people.
Jameel M — Google review
We visited this place a couple of month ago, the place is amazing. You’ll gonna love every single aquatic species there. Not just for entertainment but educational purposes too. If you wanna see and witness the greatness of Earth’s creatures visit this place and bring your friends or family’s. I assure you will get back home with knowledge and great experience. Plus their staff are very approachable🫶🏻

We had a wonderful time visiting Fakieh Aquarium in Jeddah! My daughter absolutely loved it, she was amazed to see so many different kinds of colorful fish up close. The displays are well-organized, making it easy to walk through and enjoy each section. It’s a great place for kids to learn while having fun, and it’s definitely worth a visit for the whole family!
Don T — Google review
A wonderful place for families and kids! 🐠🦈 Fakieh Aquarium offers an exciting marine world experience right in the heart of Jeddah. From colorful tropical fish to sharks and sea turtles, the exhibits are clean, well-maintained, and educational. The dolphin and sea lion show is a must-watch — super entertaining for both kids and adults! The place is well organized, and the staff are friendly and helpful throughout. There are also a few restaurants and snack corners inside, which makes it easy to relax and enjoy a full day with your loved ones. I highly recommend buying tickets in advance to avoid long queues, especially on weekends or holidays. A perfect spot for a fun and informative outing! 🌊🐬🎟️
Jawad S — Google review
Very peaceful vibes, everything is incredibly clean and the animals seem healthy (only the penguins looked kinda depressed). However, the visit is too small for it's price. A lower price would make the size completely fair.
Chardin — Google review
I visited it the second time in a while... Last I visited it in 2017 and now in 2025... It's exactly the same as before.... Maintenance is beyond perfect. Its quite kids friendly and safe for kids to visit each time :) kids enjoyed really well Will visit again on my visit to Jeddah :)

Al Taybat International City Museum of Science and Information is a vast museum complex located in Jeddah's Al-Faisaliyah district. It showcases the rich history of the city and the Arabian Peninsula, featuring traditional Hijazi architectural style with ornate minarets. The museum houses an extensive collection of international Islamic artifacts, including ancient coins, modern furniture, Islamic scripts, ethnic attires, old currencies, and antique earthenware.
Love this place! So photogenic and has rooms full of treasures. They close at 12:00 noon for lunch, so make sure you come either early in the morning or after the lunch break. There is a lot to see, plan for more than 2 hrs.
Vic N — Google review
Credit card is accepted Entrance is a really confusing Better to ask you to the shopper nearby Forth floor chaos maze game and the humongous Arabic and Saudi Arabia culture and history It is definitely worth to visit! Minimum 2hours to see so plan 3 hours with time loss and break For me, it take 1 and half hours to quick quick glance museum walk + beautiful building photography History mania can plan a day Careful most of rooms doesn’t have air conditioner but passage has strong air conditioner
Gee W — Google review
The Al Taybat International City Museum is an absolutely enchanting destination that feels like a step back in time. The entire complex is a magnificent and detailed recreation of a traditional Hejazi house, complete with stunning carved wooden balconies, peaceful courtyards, and beautiful fountains. Simply wandering through its corridors is an experience in itself, as the architecture serves as the primary exhibit, showcasing the region's rich heritage with breathtaking artistry. Beyond the architecture, the museum houses an extensive and well-curated collection of historical artifacts. You'll find yourself on a journey through the region's past, with displays of traditional clothing, ancient tools, manuscripts, and home furnishings that offer a vivid glimpse into the life and customs of generations past. What truly sets this museum apart is its unique focus on the "Science and Information" aspect. Rather than a modern, interactive science center, it is a respectful tribute to the scientific and intellectual contributions of the Islamic world. Exhibits on early astronomical tools, traditional medical instruments, and the mathematical principles behind Islamic art are seamlessly integrated into the historical context. It’s an educational and inspiring experience that highlights the long and significant tradition of knowledge preservation and innovation in the Arabian Peninsula. The museum's serene atmosphere provides a welcome escape from the bustle of the city, making it a wonderful place for quiet contemplation and photography. It’s a must-visit for anyone seeking a deep dive into the history, culture, and intellectual legacy of the region.
Azi Z — Google review
Better place to see the historic things. Worthy place to visit with family and friends. Car parking is available but limited. Entrance fee is 50 SAR. Entrance of the museum is available in the right side of the miniatures. Better to ask the shop keepers about the entrance to avoid time waste.

Fabulous - lose yourself in the magic of this beautiful site - perfectly restored. If only there was a cafe in the grounds, i’d be here every day! Outside the building are a number of antique shops you browse through.
Pit P — Google review
I wasn’t sure what to expect, but wow, it’s an entire architectural compound with an added bonus of a museum packed to the gills with historical home recreations plus rooms and rooms of paintings, art and objects. One hour, even two hours isn’t enough and due to the maximalist layout, I’d almost say it’s better to split it into two visits! It’s overwhelming. A must see in Jeddah.
K A — Google review
What an interesting place.. Plenty of the personal collections of its founder.. More 300 rooms to explore.. Make sure you allocate your time to thoroughly explore this private museum..

Very nice museum must visit if you come to Jeddah pretty old and not all the rooms does have AC but that is fine, the museum façade outside chose the old Jeddah houses and inside the main museum. It talks about Islam, prophet Muhammad, Saudi Arabia, and how it was united and many other things, also there are a lot of art from China Persia, and made different cultures

Shopping
Cenomi Mall of Arabia is a massive 261,000 square meter shopping destination located near the King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah. It boasts an impressive lineup of global fashion brands including Zara, Forever 21, Debenhams, DKNY, and Ted Baker. The mall also offers a variety of dining options ranging from fast food favorites like Burger King and Pizza Hut to fine restaurants such as Fridays and Smith & Wollensky.
Mall of Arabia is a really nice mall where you can find almost everything you need. I visited on my last day in Saudi Arabia and truly enjoyed my time there. In my opinion, Mall of Arabia and Red Sea Mall are the two best shopping malls in Jeddah; great variety, good atmosphere, and lots to explore. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the city!
Sajad I — Google review
Spacious and modern mall with a great mix of international and local brands. The food court has plenty of variety, and the overall atmosphere is lively but not overwhelming. Clean, well-maintained, and easy to navigate. A solid place to shop, eat, and relax in Jeddah.
Ryan K — Google review
Mall of Arabia is quite spacious and has a wide range of popular brand outlets, which makes it a good place for shopping. The ambience is pleasant, clean, and comfortable for families to walk around and spend time. However, the food court felt limited in terms of variety, with fewer dining options compared to other major malls in Riyadh. I also visited Sparky’s play area, and the experience was disappointing. Many rides were closed even during the evening, and on several rides there were no operators available, which made it inconvenient for families with kids. For such a large mall, the play area definitely needs better management and maintenance. Overall, it’s a nice mall if you are mainly going for shopping and ambience, but the food court and children’s entertainment area could be improved to match the overall scale of the mall.

What stands out most is the overall service and management of the mall. Staff members are helpful and polite, and everything feels well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. Beautiful beach with great facilities — thanks to the government! Al Saif Beach is a wonderful spot for families and friends to enjoy a relaxing day by the sea. The scenic palm-lined walkway, clean seating areas, and shaded spots make it a perfect place to unwind. The sunset views here are breathtaking and worth the visit alone. A big appreciation to the government for the excellent facilities — from proper lighting and seating to well-maintained pathways and cleanliness. It’s clear that effort has been put into making this a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable public space for everyone. Highly recommended for those who want a peaceful beach experience in Jeddah!

It's fun, not crowded, the rides are enjoyable, the tickets are reasonable (85 SR for all rides) and I'd recommend it over Shallal. However, 3 of the rides were closed (including the skateboard, which is allegedly permanently shut down) and I won't be returning because of that

Muhammad H — Google review
I had a really lovely time here with my 4 children. I struggled to find the beach at first because it originally directed me to pass through a compound. I think perhaps they have changed the name because the beach was called Kokiyan beach. We arrived shortly after dhuhr, which I think was a really lovely time to go. It wasn't too busy, and we managed to get a table straight away. Entry is free but technically, it costs sar10 per person as you are not allowed to bring any mats or blankets, you have to pay for the chairs. There are a few kiosks there to buys snacks and drinks but a few food trucks would have also been appreciated. The water was clean and there are sufficient life guards present. Everyone is allowed to swim and there are toilets and showers available as well as an area to pray. We left after asr when it became bery busy.

This museum was a royal residence for consuls and merchants. It dates back to 1881, and it belonged for the Nasseef family until 1975, when Muhammad Nasseef turned it into a private library. And is now a museum. The museum was very interesting. I loved the displayed artwork and the concept behind them. The architectural details of it are truly remarkable. The building features traditional Hijazi design with distinctive wooden balconies, intricate carvings, and elegant arches that reflect the region's rich cultural heritage. Visiting the museum doesn’t take much time, as it is relatively small. However, they could improve the experience by ensuring the working hours are consistently adhered to and adding more staff to assist visitors and provide guided tours.

Jeddah Flagpole is a remarkable landmark located in the heart of King Abdullah Square, standing at an impressive height of 561 feet. This iconic structure holds the Guinness World Records title for being the tallest unsupported flagpole globally and proudly hoists the official flag of Saudi Arabia. Erected in 2014, it is a prominent feature that can be seen from various tourist attractions in Jeddah. The pole tapers from its base to the top, with a diameter ranging from 4.
A Majestic Sight to Behold - The Jeddah Flagpole Tonight, just a day after Saudi National Day, we found ourselves with some free time while exploring Jeddah. Our drive led us to the iconic Jeddah Flagpole, an impressive landmark that truly embodies the pride and spirit of Saudi Arabia. We easily found a wide parking lot near a mosque just beside the flagpole's circle, making our visit hassle-free. Stepping out of the car, we spent about an hour admiring the grandeur of the national flag soaring high in the sky. It was a mesmerizing experience to witness the flag, beautifully illuminated against the night sky, gently swaying in the breeze. Out of curiosity, I decided to Google the significance and details of this flagpole, and I was genuinely surprised by what I learned. Standing at an astonishing height of 171 meters, the Jeddah Flagpole held the title of the world's tallest flagpole when it was erected in 2014. It's not just the height that's impressive; the flag it holds is massive, measuring 49.5 meters in length and 33 meters in width. This colossal structure is a symbol of unity and pride for the people of Saudi Arabia. The area surrounding the flagpole is beautifully maintained, offering a peaceful and serene environment. It’s the perfect spot for a quiet reflection, especially after the vibrant celebrations of the National Day. The sheer size and the importance of the flagpole make it an unmissable sight for anyone visiting Jeddah. In summary, the Jeddah Flagpole is not just a landmark; it’s a testament to the pride and heritage of Saudi Arabia. Whether you're a local or a tourist, I highly recommend taking the time to visit and appreciate this incredible piece of engineering and national pride. Amazing work indeed!

In 2013 Flow Engineering was awarded the contact for the calculation, design, delivery and installation of three TMD systems for the world’s highest flagpole until 26 December 2021. The pole located in Jeddah – Saudi Arabia is 170 meters high and weighs approximately 500.000 kg. The pole is tapered starting at the base with a diameter of 4.1 meter ending in the top with a diameter of 2 meter. The flag weighs 515kg and is 60 meters in length and 30 meters wide. Three tuned mass damper systems are installed in the pole with a total weight of 11.000kg. The first two dampers are installed in the top section of the pole and the third damper is installed at a height of 125 meters. Together the three tuned mass dampers provide sufficient damping to prevent large oscillations of the pole caused by vortex shedding in its first second and third natural frequencies.

Al Rahmah Mosque, also known as the Floating Mosque, is a stunning architectural gem located in Jeddah. Built on stilts over the Red Sea in 1985, this marble mosque features ornate tile work and a striking turquoise dome. Its modern design with traditional touches creates a picturesque scene, especially during sunset. The mosque appears to float on water during high tide, offering breathtaking views and making it a popular tourist spot along Jeddah's Corniche.
Visiting Al Rahmah mosque was the most precious part of our recent trip. While living in saudia 18 years ago it was our go to spot on Fridays with family. I was glad to see that even after so long masjid still looks the same. Its very well kept. Same interior and overall structure. Google was showing us $54 ticket to enjoy a sunset tour at masjid, thank God we didnt buy ticket online as entering masjid was absolutely free, we were able to offer maghrib prayer there. Loved the newly developed hotels and other entertainment around the masjid but it was sad to see them not turning off their music during azaan.
SamArt C — Google review
I can’t comment the interior of this mosque because I was wearing shorts and thus could not be admitted. But speaking about the exterior, the mosque looks really nice. It’s uniqueness lies in its location being built right on the water. The mosque itself from outside needs some renovation works because you can see plaster coming off.The toilets were in terrible condition. There is a crazy smell of the water and the toilet at the entrance to the mosque.

A Unique and Peaceful Experience: Visiting Al Rahmah Mosque was a truly unique and unforgettable experience. As the world's first floating mosque, its location on the Red Sea offers a truly mesmerizing setting for prayer and reflection. What stood out: Stunning Architecture: The mosque's modern and elegant design seamlessly blends with its maritime surroundings. The use of glass and light creates a serene and peaceful atmosphere. Sea Views: Praying while surrounded by the vast expanse of the Red Sea is an incredibly calming and spiritually uplifting experience. Cleanliness and Maintenance: The mosque was impeccably clean and well-maintained, reflecting a high level of respect for this sacred space. Tips for Visitors: Respectful Attire: As with any mosque, visitors are expected to dress modestly. Women should cover their hair and shoulders, and men should wear long pants and cover their shoulders. Photography: Photography is generally permitted, but it's important to be mindful of other worshippers and avoid taking photos during prayer times. Check Opening Hours: Be sure to check the mosque's opening hours before your visit, as they may vary depending on the time of year. Overall: Al Rahmah Mosque is a truly remarkable architectural feat and a testament to the beauty and serenity of Islam. I highly recommend a visit to anyone seeking a unique and spiritually enriching experience in Jeddah.

I visited Off Price today and found some good deals, but unfortunately, my experience at the cashier ruined the visit. The lady at the counter — I think her name was Sharaf Faisal— had medium-dark skin, dark eyebrows. She was very rude and impatient, constantly asking another staff member to translate even though I understood everything perfectly. I was only trying to clarify their discount policy. Her tone and attitude were aggressive and unprofessional. If she struggles with communication and customer service, I don’t think she’s suited for a sales position.

The one stop destination for abaya shopping. Play area for kids, a sports centre, food courts available. Plenty of Tailoring shops who deliver on the spot if you need alterations to your abaya purchases. Food court has a good selection of vendors. In particular I would like to point out Tota Abaya on the 2nd floor for abayas especially for younger girls. Could not find in any other shop. Shawarma Way in the food court provided excellent service, customised local Saudi shawarmas with plenty of combinations.

Serafi Mega Mall is a shopping destination conveniently located in the heart of Jeddah, making it easily accessible from anywhere in the city. This sprawling complex is a one-stop shopping haven for all your needs, offering a vast array of stores and services that cater to all ages. Families can spend a delightful evening fulfilling their shopping requirements, with something for everyone to enjoy. The mall's layout is thoughtfully designed, comprising a ground floor and three levels, with ample parking facilities on both the ground floor and the spacious third-floor parking lot, which is easily accessible from the main road via a ramp. To avoid the traffic congestion often experienced on the ground floor, I highly recommend parking on the third floor, and access the mall via Gate No. 7. Serafi Mega Mall boasts an impressive range of shops, including apparel, footwear, sports shop and abayas in large varieties at affordable prices. Children will have a blast at Moon Toon, an amusement park located on the third floor, featuring a variety of rides and arcades. The mall also offers excellent facilities for sports and leisure activities. The indoor sports center on third level provides opportunities for volleyball, basketball, and other sports.. The fourth floor is primarily dedicated to a food court, featuring most of the popular restaurants, ensuring that you can satisfy your cravings after a long day of shopping. Each level of the mall has one or two coffee shops with decent seating areas, providing the perfect spot to take a break and recharge between shopping sprees. Both escalators and elevators are conveniently located throughout the mall, making it easy to navigate between levels. Additionally, for those who need to activate their Absher account or require any Absher-related services, there are three Absher kiosks strategically located on the third floor, just after entering from Gate No. 7. This convenient location, combined with the accessible third-floor parking, makes it an ideal spot to take care of your Absher needs. Overall, Serafi Mega Mall is an excellent destination for shopping, entertainment, and services, offering a comprehensive and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages.

BAB MAKKAH The Makkah Gate in Jeddah is one of the oldest gates remaining in the country. The history of Jeddah traces back to the origin of the gate. The Makkah Gate is also known as the Bab Ashlam and the Sham Gate. It is one of the main entrances for the Hajj pilgrims. Of the numerous sightseeing in Jeddah, the Makkah Gate is one of the most prominent. Jeddah sightseeing will never be completed without visiting the fabulous Makkah Gate. During 100 AD Jeddah was fortified by limestone coral walls. During the 16th century, people constructed 6 watchtowers and gates. The people constructed them to defend against the Portuguese attack. Of the 6 gates, Bab Makkah was the eastern gate and Bab Al Magharibah the western one. The gate Bab Sharif was south facing. The other gates Bab Al Bunt, Bab Sharaf, and Bab Al Madinah were north facing. The Makkah Gate in Jeddah is one of the three reconstructed gates. The Makkah Gate in Jeddah is located in the Downtown of Jeddah. Numerous pilgrims frequently come to the city of Jeddah and also go from the city of Jeddah. The Makkah Gate at Jeddah provides the getaway to this wide gamut of pilgrims. Near the gate, the locals offer fine hospitality to the pilgrims and tourists. The caravanserais are present there to make life easier for the visitors. The architectural brilliance of the gate is worth going through. The Turkish influence is largely evident in the construction of Makkah Gate at Jeddah. During the evening the brightly lit Makkah Gate makes for awesome sightseeing.

Walking through Al-Balad feels like stepping back in time. The old merchant houses, like Nassif House, are beautifully preserved, and the atmosphere is full of character. Local markets (souks) offer everything from traditional sweets to handmade crafts, and the street food scene adds even more flavor to the experience. At night, the area lights up beautifully and takes on a magical, almost cinematic vibe. Whether you're into architecture, photography, history, or just soaking up local culture, Al-Balad delivers. A soulful, authentic piece of Jeddah that’s absolutely worth exploring.

A beautiful walk into the past, Old Town Jeddah is a charming blend of history and culture. The traditional wooden latticework buildings and narrow alleyways transport you to a bygone era. With bustling shops, local bazaars, and ongoing renovations that enhance without erasing its heritage, the area offers a rich tapestry of historical reminders and cultural beauty.

Had such a great time walking around here at night! The streets and buildings are just beautiful, and even though most stores close by 11pm, there are still a few open later. We walked around until about 1:30am and always felt super safe, there is also security around the streets. The streets are well lit and super clean, adding to the overall great experience. The whole area has a surreal feel to it , definitely worth checking out. Highly recommend it!

The Island Mosque in Jeddah may not be the largest or most impressive, but it is definitely worth a visit. Designed by Egyptian architect Abdel Wahed El-Wakil, this mosque is located near the Red Sea Corniche and offers a simple yet stunning design with a rectangular prayer hall. Despite its small size, the mosque's location by the sea provides an exceptional and tranquil landscape for prayer and meditation.
The mosque is beautiful and located right by the water. Wudu (ablution) is free for everyone. To use the washroom, you need to pay 10 Riyals, which gives you a card for four people. The overall environment is peaceful and well-maintained.

The best place to walk in Jeddah. The beach is amazing, the smell of salt is so refreshing. You can also see some crabs on shore! 🦀

This is a arab sea mosque. The Island Mosque was designed by Egyptian architect Abdel Wahed El-Wakil and was conceived as a sculptural element accentuating the Jeddah landscape - the architectural equivalent of the city’s sculptures. At the same time it provides a place of worship in a part of the city that had not yet been served by a mosque. A small island was created on the edge of the coral reef just off the Corniche; the narrow path leading across the water thus becomes a symbolic journey of pilgrimage. Really this scene is very Charming 🥰

One of the best masjids in Jeddah in terms of its combination of design and location. When I first visited it as a child in 1991, it was on a land mass almost completely surrounded by water. You had to walk on a narrow strip of land to reach it, hence the name. Even after development of the corniche, it is still on the waterfront, and it has a beautiful view of the sea. There are sections for both men and women, but the space inside is not much. It has a courtyard as well. The area is popular and you will see many families around here, especially on the weekend. Note: the indoor area was locked when I last visited on 16 November, and jamaat was held outside in front of the masjid.

Who can rival such talent, effort and amazing work? Her studies of all mediums i.e. pencil, coloured chalk, water colour & oil are superb. Her perspective and capturing of scenes are unique. The arrest is gifted and she has captured Jeddah"s past in oil and shared it in her gallery for all to view. Each room in the artist gallery is dedicated to a study of pencil drawings, marriage scenes, boats at sea, or children at play. The gallery itself is beautiful and the displays are original. Everything meticulously thought out including the items on display of Hijazi combs, chole ( مكحله) eye make up etc. Her gallery is a must visit in Jeddah to understand how our ancestors or grandparents lived in old Jeddah. It is a landmark of significant importance particularly to artists. Her prints and graphics particularly on the costumes of Saudi Arabia is most remarkable. I would love the complete work in a book as it's a study..... The display in the sewing machines are remarkable. It just goes on, surprises and delights. The artist is to be congratulated on her imagination and hard work. The grand finally is the study on costume and the mannequins in beautiful wear of the Saudi region's. Well done indeed a most talented artist Who chose to share her talent and placed Jeddah and it's culture on the map. I am so proud of you particularly the artist is my aunt. Now I wish to leave you to judge for yourself and relish in the magnificent display of Saudi costumes of the many regions of our beautiful land.

Sure! Here’s the English translation of your text: I went to watch the Real Madrid vs. Barcelona match, and the atmosphere was incredible. Since I entered through the VIP lounge, I had access to a private parking area, but many others had to park quite far outside the stadium in a dusty and gravel-covered lot. However, we were provided with golf carts to reach the stadium. The reception, treats, and organization were all fantastic. Armoured K — Google review
So I’ve recently been here and well I’ll say it’s a very abandoned place. You do have a range of activities including: ice skating, trampoline jumping, arcade games, and an indoor footballing area but it’s just not the same anymore. A few years ago you’d find this place packed with people now they added an entrance fee of 25 sar per person. Personally I think going to Red Sea mall would be my better choice due to it not having an entrance fee and offering a better selection of activities
Anas J — Google review
Minimum card you can buy is for 150 riyals. Besides the card, you have to pay 10 riyals per person entrance fee. You can play any games unless you buy the minimum card for 150 riyals. The ice skating started at 10:30 because of cleaning and maintaince of the rink at opening time.

It was such a nice experience with kids. They really enjoyed a lot. We found the entire area pretty clean and tidy. The staff was vigilant and helpful. I would highly recommend this place for your kids.
Kazi Q — Google review
The arena is medium-sized, but unfortunately, the ice is of poor quality. According to the staff, it is never properly resurfaced due to a lack of suitable machinery. Skating on such ice can be hazardous, and we observed older kids speed skating without helmets, which added to the safety concerns. The music played during the session consisted of American rap songs with explicit language and inappropriate content. When this was pointed out, the staff promptly changed the music and explained that they were unaware of the lyrics due to limited language skills. Additionally, the area surrounding the rink was quite noisy, with repetitive and annoying sounds coming from nearby electronic games, which made the environment less pleasant overall.

Although a really amusing for the kids ,this entertainment place still needs big renovation… currently tried an icekart activity … my kids really enjoyed them and the cost is reasonable as matched with activity itself … time allowed was around 10-15 min which is well enough to complete 5-6 laps for a kid..

The interior is adorned with intricate calligraphy in Thuluth script and ornate arabesque designs.

This mosque is very beautiful. As beautiful as this mosque is, the surrounding scenery is beautiful. Because this mosque is located by the sea. The sea breeze, the water banana, the buildings make the thirsty more enthralling. Everything is planned around this mosque. Including different types of trees and beautiful lighting, everyone will be impressed by the mosque from home. The interior is as beautifully decorated as the exterior. Made with many expensive precious stones. The interior decoration of the mosque is so beautiful that those who see it once will want to see it again and again. Because the interior work of this mosque has been done in such a way that it will leave everyone attracted and impressed, inshallah. Everything inside and outside this mosque has been made according to plan. Because of which all travel fascinates the thirsty. There is a place to sit in front of this mosque. And since Asar, people stay here all night, small children play all night. All kinds of arrangements have been kept in this mosque. For example, boys' place of prayer and girl's place of prayer, boys' ablution place, women's ablution place are totally different. Facilities for wheelchairs, play area for small boys are kept. In a word, if someone tells me how much you will give out of a hundred, I will say that I will give one hundred.

Recently installed, this welcoming feature invites visitors to pause and enjoy the coastal atmosphere.
My recent visit to the Jeddah Sign on the new Jeddah Corniche was nothing short of extraordinary. This landmark, with its grand LED sign spelling out "Jeddah," has truly become an emblem of the city, drawing both locals and tourists. The area is a hub of activity and entertainment, offering something for everyone. From swimming and boating to dining at one of the six waterfront restaurants, the options are plentiful. The three nearby beaches reserved specifically for swimming provide a refreshing escape, while the fishing pier and marina for small boats add to the maritime charm. Not to mention the floating dock equipped with cell phone charging stations, a thoughtful touch for modern visitors. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the dancing fountains, which are a mesmerizing sight, especially at night when the entire area is illuminated by the glowing Jeddah sign. The coconut tree-lined roads and well-maintained pedestrian paths, adorned with lush lawns and trees, create a serene and picturesque environment. The jogging track, bustling with joggers, cyclists, and skaters, adds to the lively atmosphere. For families, the playgrounds with various play stations offer a fantastic array of activities for children. And as the sun sets, the waterfront transforms into a magical vista, perfect for capturing stunning photographs and videos for Instagram. Overall, the Jeddah Sign and its surroundings provide a perfect blend of relaxation, entertainment, and scenic beauty. It is a must-visit destination for anyone in Jeddah, offering an experience that is both invigorating and memorable.

It’s a great place to take memorable photos, especially around sunset when the sky meets the sea. The area is clean, safe, and has a nice walking path along the waterfront. A peaceful vibe with the breeze and view. There is baskin robbins on the beach you can grab nearby the perfect treat to enjoy while sitting by the beach. The area is very family friendly but the food options are very limited.

King Abdulaziz University, located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, offers a stunning campus surrounded by natural beauty. The university boasts a herbarium that showcases the diverse plant life of the region and plays a vital role in promoting plant conservation and understanding Saudi Arabia's ecosystem. Initially established as a private university, it later became a public institution offering scholarships to students from Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries.
Very quite place. These are the Covid 19 Vaccination Centers inside King Abdul Aziz University. Its a well organized place. Eventhough it was crowded and the queue was long, the process was fast. Within 20 minutes I got my vaccine. All the staffs were friendly. This was my booster dose and this is the best experience I got comparing to other 2 vaccination.

I loved every aspect of the University. The area is gorgeous, surrounded by it’s full of nature and there are lots of outdoor activities to do. The buildings are full of history and it feels like being in a fairy-tale. The level of encouragement and assistance from the staff makes it easier to find your path, your passion and dedicate to it. There is a good balance between you studying independently and the contact with your classmates and lecturers. There are so many interesting things you can get involved I’ve loved how the university has found ways of giving internships and forming the work-skills of the students.

King Abdul Aziz University is the worst university in terms of its management and administration i have even seen. It has the most unprofessional and pathetic management in the world and behaviour towards international students. Students have been waiting for their visas for more than 3 years and still their is no proper communication and corresponding by the university. Students' future is at risk and KAU is wasting their time and playing with their emotions. This should not be happen. Utmost pathetic and unfair.

King Saud Grand Mosque, located in the Al-Sharafeyyah District of Jeddah, is a significant landmark known for its impressive architectural design. Completed in 1987, this grand mosque covers an expansive area of 9700 square meters and features a spacious prayer hall spanning 2464 square meters. The majestic domes and a towering minaret standing at 60 meters high add to the mosque's grandeur.
During my recent trip to Jeddah, I had the privilege of admiring the architectural grandeur of the King Saud bin Abdulaziz Mosque, located in the Al-Sharafeyyah District. Designed by the renowned architect Abdel-Wahed El-Wakil and completed in 1987, this mosque stands as a testament to intricate Islamic architecture and thoughtful urban design. The mosque covers an impressive area of 9,700 square meters, with the prayer hall alone spanning 2,464 square meters. The largest dome, with a span of 20 meters, reaches a height of 42 meters, while the minaret towers at 60 meters, creating a striking silhouette against the skyline. The design layout evokes the elegance of Persian four-iwan structures, reminiscent of the Great Mosque of Esfahan in Iran. The influence of the Mosque-Madrassa of Sultan Hassan in Cairo is evident in the minaret and other architectural details. The mosque's rectangular structure, slightly offset to the west, incorporates a central court accessible through four iwans. Unlike traditional Persian iwans, these serve as openings in a large screen wall rather than individual structures. The north and south iwans precede domed halls, leading to four pillared halls on the east and west sides. The larger eastern halls feature three naves with five bays and eight pillars each, culminating in the grand east iwan, which connects to the main domed hall in front of the qibla wall. The mosque's placement at an angle to the street grid ensures the qibla wall faces Makkah, creating triangular rooms between the mosque and the external facade on the north, south, and east walls. The west facade, opening to Medinah Road, is particularly noteworthy. It features a large cubic structure with an iwan and minaret, creating an iconic visual group accessible by a flight of steps. Despite my intention to explore the interior, visiting on a Friday meant public access was restricted. Nonetheless, the mosque's exterior view alone is breathtaking, reflecting its historical and cultural significance. Its roadside location ensures it is visible from various vantage points, offering a constant reminder of its majestic presence. For anyone visiting Jeddah, I highly recommend experiencing the beauty of King Saud bin Abdulaziz Mosque. Its architectural marvels and serene ambiance make it a remarkable landmark, capturing the essence of Islamic heritage and design.

Children's amusement center
KidZania Jeddah offers a one-of-a-kind interactive experience for children, allowing them to explore various professions and learn about the adult world in a miniature city setting. With nearly 80 occupations to choose from, kids aged 4 to 14 can engage in activities such as medicine, media, police work, banking, tourism, and aviation. This educational theme park provides a safe and enjoyable environment for kids to develop skills and interests while fostering creativity and character growth.
A wonderful location for your children to explore , learn and enjoy their time , the area is enclosed within the arab mall , the atmosphere is amazing in here so does the learning experience, the entry fee is kinda high and the games and activities are kinda limited to how your children gather “money prizes “ from the activities they are attending, so make sure that , the father or the mother should be there with their children
Family D — Google review
Very small compared to Egypt branch, many of the activities were closed, some of the staff are anxious to guide childrenand some are just doing a job they don’t like. It’s a bit expensive for the service they offer, hope they make it better next time.
Mohamed R — Google review
We recently visited Kidzania Riyadh with our son, and unfortunately, the experience was a bit disappointing . The ticket prices were SAR 130 per child and SAR 65 per adult, totaling SAR 260 for our visit. What We Liked: - The concept of Kidzania—allowing kids to experience different professions—is great in theory. - They offer SAR 65 off on purchases from their store, which somewhat offsets the cost of the adult ticket. What Disappointed Us: 1. Long Queues Everywhere – We spent 40 minutes waiting for the Firefighting activity and 30 minutes for the Pilot Training. It felt like more waiting than actual playing. 2. Unorganized Staff – At one activity, the girl went for prayer and didn’t return for over 20 minutes, further delaying the experience. 3. Limited Engagement for Non-Arabic Speakers – If your child doesn’t speak Arabic or isn’t in a group, they might not enjoy it as much. 4. Mediocre Activities – Other than firefighting, most activities felt very basic and didn’t live up to the hype. Final Verdict: If your child speaks Arabic and goes with a group of friends, they might have fun. However, for the price, long wait times, and lack of organization, it feels overrated. Would I visit again? Probably not.
Mohammad A — Google review
This was one of the most unprofessional and frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. I called multiple times ahead of our visit to confirm details — not a single call was answered. At no point was I told that they don’t even start until 5:15. So we arrived expecting things to be ready, only to stand around with a crowd of restless kids and confused parents, waiting for something to finally happen. When it did start, it was pure chaos. Parents were inside the activities with their kids, barking orders, shoving their way in, and completely hijacking the experience. Kids who were supposed to be enjoying themselves instead got pushed aside, interrupted, and bossed around by other people’s parents. Not to mention the ruined experience like the buildings not having fire for the firetrucks. There was zero management, zero structure, and zero effort to control the situation. Children were wandering in and out of activities, ignoring any order, while staff stood by doing nothing. It wasn’t fun, it wasn’t organized — it was just loud, messy, hot and stressful. If you value your money, your time, and your child’s happiness, stay far away from this place until they completely overhaul their management and actually learn how to run it. Right now, it’s nothing more than a badly managed free-for-all.
Lovely L — Google review
It's a unique and nice place for kids, kids love being there all day, unfortunately most staff only speak Arabic which makes it difficult for people who don't speak the language to communicate, at some places they don't allow young kids which makes the kids sad such as airplane. Overall staff try their best to cooperate
Abdul H — Google review
We went on a school field trip. The place is run down and desperately needs maintenance. Most of the time was wasted waiting for staff to prepare and set up stations while kids were waiting. The groups they made were too big for each section. The salon was dark and gloomy, and honestly was very unhygienic. The same makeup, and makeup brushes being used on all the kids, the same combs and drawing pencils used on all the kids. The kids weren't encouraged to wash their hands before doing the cake decorating. Chairs were broken and the kids were literally told what to do. Nearly zero creativity or autonomy for any of the kids. The Staff were friendly but didn't seem too excited about doing their jobs. This is a great place for kids but unfortunately needs a lot of maintenance and work.
Sharifa A — Google review
We came back to KidZania after 3 years, and unfortunately, it was a huge letdown and felt like a waste of money. A lot has changed—and not for the better. The flight activity is now just a screen showing a basic takeoff and landing, and kids are told to pretend they're flying. The perfume-making experience is gone too; instead, they hand out scent strips and ask kids to pretend they’re advertising a perfume. Many activities were closed and other with long lines. They also no longer use cards—just paper sheets where kids collect points, but you can’t claim any rewards unless you reach a certain number, which seemed pretty high. The only good part was the staff—they were really dedicated and did their best with the kids. But overall, it feels overpriced for what it offers now. My review 3 years ago This is Friendly staff and amazing place for 4yrs old. Suggest you should allow kids to think outside the box. Main reason giving 4 stars is that kids go within a group touring before 4PM. This means my kid had to go to experiences not based on his priorities. No mask mandate for kids, my 4 yrs child had a mask when majority didnt
Mohamed M — Google review
The four star is due to prices and implementation. Firstly , as a parent who isn’t playing or doing anything - 65 is hefty for me to just sit on benches . The lights are too dim and the ambulance / fire truck making turns every ten minutes was very bothersome . The staff would wonder off and not be at their stations . The objective to suck money at every opportunity was obvious . Services need to be improved . Now the positive : The games are educational and fun . The learning activities have great ideas behind them . My child enjoyed herself - I did not . I recommend a group of kids go with one sacrificial adult .

Water Village is a family-friendly water park featuring pools, flumes, and tube slides. It offers buffet and patio dining options for visitors. The park is considered reasonably priced and suitable for children. Guests have noted the cleanliness and safety measures in place, including ample security personnel. The facility provides showers, bathrooms, changing rooms, and locker areas for convenience. While adults must supervise children, fathers are allowed to accompany smaller kids in the pools.
Best for kids and family... Always prefer to buy ticket online.. It's much cheaper than collecting tickets from counters.

Its clean and safe. We reached there on time of opening and it was empty at that time, so super clean and fun! They have lots of men for security and safety placed everywhere which gives a sense of protection. But mainly adults (parent or any other elder accompanying) have to supervise kids. They have showers, bathrooms and changing rooms also. There was a locker area but no keys to locker, so one have to use them on their own risk. Cafeterias were nice, food was fresh, lots of seating everywhere.

I visited the water park with my 5-year-old son while wearing jeans. We entered one of the large enclosed slides (the dark tunnel-type). It was extremely slippery and narrow inside — I got stuck midway and had to crawl out slowly with my son. Please avoid wearing jeans on these slides. Stick to proper swimwear for safety.

The kids had a wonderful time at water village. The staff were helpful and friendly, although they couldn't speak English very well. The water park needs some maintenance, but it's still worth a visit and return visit! There's a musjid as well as a restaurant. There are showers and changing rooms too. If you forget your swimsuit, you can buy one at the store.

There are multiple well maintained water slides in the park. Try to get your tickets online, as they are cheaper than buying them at counter. Lockers were not working, so keep your valuables nearby or in your cars.

The Water Village is a great place for the whole family. I went there with my husband and son and he enjoyed every single moment and every single ride. The price was 129 per children and 39 per parent. The place was very neat, clean and was not overcrowded. There are lockers to store your belongings and outdoors showers. I saw many fathers accompanying their smaller children on the swimming pools, which is allowed. Women, however are not allowed to enter the water, as expected. There are plenty of seats in front of the swimming pools for the parents to seat and watch over their children My only negative comment is regarding the restaurant’s food quality and services because we had a very bad experience. We order juices, a pepperoni pizza and 2 grilled chicken sandwich. The order took an hour to be delivered. The juices came first, then more than 30 min later came the sandwiches but they were very cold and the bread was “as hard as stone” and completely inedible. The “pepperoni pizza didn’t had pepperoni, it was actually mortadela and barely any cheese. We did complain about the food and they were very understood and didn’ charge for the sandwiches. We only paid for the pizza and juices. The juices, in other hand, were very delicious and in large portions and I totally recommend drinking there and I hope they improve the restaurant food and services. Despite the bad experience at the restaurante, the overall experience was very good and we intend to come back many times.

It was a really nice place! I tried two rooms: Jumanji and Hannibal. Both were great, but Hannibal was my favorite. I highly recommend trying them. However, there’s one thing I’d like to mention—the recordings. I reviewed the recording of my game, and it wasn’t worth it. It only included 3–5 short clips and cost 120﷼, so I wouldn’t recommend purchasing it.

I tried all the escape hotel old rooms (The Mummy, The kitchen, Jumanji, The elevator and The Zombie). I loved every single room, and I got so excited when I found out they are making new rooms. Each unique room requires creative thinking, the staff is very respectful and professional, and the interior of the place is very nice. The jump scares and actors are also very good. Super friendly young man working there. Coffee was decent and decor funky as any reasonable cafe should be. Negatives are, no toilet, No Wi-Fi & no ceramic cups. Coffee cost as much as my Indian dinner but guess that’s normal for old town Jeddah.
Jeremy K — Google review
Two stars go to the location and the old city ambiance especially for heritage lovers, but the staff attitude and service and even the coffee quality doesn’t deserve the effort of visiting
Firas G — Google review
Nice old coffee place in downtown. Food and drinks Options are limited though. I recommend this place to.visitors.

Makki S — Google review
Very decent coffee and tea with delicate containers. A good spot to sit done, take a rest, and enjoy the exoticism of Al Balad.
Ding Z — Google review
Great little spot with tremendous character. Great resting spot in the heart of Al Balad
Larry — Google review
Such a great place. Very welcoming. The drinks are all great and there's a big selection of tea and coffee. The lemon and mint drink is great after a long hot walk around the market. Would recommend the kunafa and the mamoul too.
